- 0:30Speaker 3: I called it well, first, I won't say thanks for
- 0:32Speaker 3: calling on me, and I actually have a few questions
- 0:35Speaker 3: if that's fah thought with one? All right? I called
- 0:40Speaker 3: a few months back, and remember I was talking about
- 0:43Speaker 3: how I had like thirty five stocks in my portfolio.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I remember, Yes, told me narrow it down to ten. Yekay,
- 0:53Speaker 3: So I just wanted to get your opinion on Matt ten.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Oh that was there on what's you? What's your today?
- 0:59Speaker 5: All right?
- 0:59Speaker 3: I guess wear Apple, Microsoft, Visa Disney, CrowdStrike, Draft Kings NIA,
- 1:07Speaker 3: and one of them is a penny stock called AI
- 1:09Speaker 3: t X and charge Point.
- 1:13Speaker 6: What what did you say after CrowdStrike?
- 1:15Speaker 3: I didn't hear it, Draft Kings NIA, and then I
- 1:20Speaker 3: have a penny stock to call AI t X and
- 1:24Speaker 3: charge point.
- 1:26Speaker 7: What persons you get in on a I t X.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I got in on a I t X at one second,
- 1:32Speaker 3: I got checked because I've been averaging down. I got
- 1:34Speaker 3: in kind of high, and then I just and then
- 1:37Speaker 3: like as it dropped, I just kept buying into it
- 1:39Speaker 3: because I got a new CEO, and I don't know,
- 1:42Speaker 3: I kind of I like their company. My average cost
- 1:46Speaker 3: is point of six nine, so I'm not like seven.
- 1:50Speaker 4: It's not bad.
- 1:51Speaker 7: That's the only one I don't like out of the group.
- 1:53Speaker 7: But if it bounces to consent, you can exit the
- 1:56Speaker 7: rest of them. You're great.
- 1:58Speaker 8: I think one thing I like about your portfolio is
- 2:02Speaker 8: that as diversified. You have like draft Kings, you have Apple,
- 2:07Speaker 8: you have Square, you have what else did she say?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Draft?
- 2:12Speaker 5: She said Microsoft?
- 2:16Speaker 8: So so yeah, so you have you have cybersecurity, you
- 2:20Speaker 8: have payment processing, you have Apple, you have the online gambling.
- 2:24Speaker 8: So you're not putting all your eggs in one basket.
- 2:27Speaker 8: Even though you know they're all kind of like tech companies,
- 2:29Speaker 8: they serve different sectors of the economy. So I always
- 2:32Speaker 8: say that that's a very good portfolio. Continue with it.
- 2:36Speaker 8: Are you dollar cost averaging or are you putting money
- 2:38Speaker 8: in every month for how you?
- 2:40Speaker 4: How are you? How are you doing it? Well?
- 2:42Speaker 3: I put money in every month, and then when they
- 2:44Speaker 3: drop down to a certain price, out a a lot extra.
- 2:49Speaker 7: Yeah, if charge fourteen eighty six, you can add more there,
- 2:53Speaker 7: because they're going to slide down to eighteen with fourteen
- 2:56Speaker 7: eighty six, add more. And then if your cost basis
- 2:59Speaker 7: is decent there, you're good. The rest of them, you
- 3:00Speaker 7: have home runs super solid.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Yeah, the ones that you said up until like I said,
- 3:06Speaker 6: up until DraftKings, I have in my portfolio as well.
- 3:09Speaker 6: So they're all solid, including Visa, which I really loved.
- 3:12Speaker 6: I've had it probably yeah, a year and a half maybe,
- 3:16Speaker 6: so you know, I was I was going back and forth,
- 3:18Speaker 6: should I leave the position? And I love that the
- 3:21Speaker 6: fact that it's performing out. I'm ecstatic that I held
- 3:24Speaker 6: the door. I held the door on that one. Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 6: So I love it, and I love the fact that
- 3:28Speaker 6: you executed. Right, there was fifty five positions that you had.
- 3:31Speaker 6: You heard some information, you said, look, they said, let's
- 3:34Speaker 6: scale it down a bit, and you scale it down
- 3:36Speaker 6: and you've picked some really really solid companies.
- 3:38Speaker 7: So saying there, greatful for trimming to you, so to you.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Thank you. So my next question is, well, I recently
- 3:48Speaker 3: had a baby and I wanted.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Gratulations, thank you, thank.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You, and I wanted to use the fave twenty nine
- 3:57Speaker 3: for private school also, So I did do a little
- 4:01Speaker 3: bit of research and I've seen that you are allowed
- 4:04Speaker 3: to do that. But since, like, should I go super
- 4:10Speaker 3: aggressive inside the five twenty nine since I'll be like
- 4:14Speaker 3: leaning towards using it sooner than when he's eighteen, or
- 4:18Speaker 3: should I still, like, you know, stick to the formula
- 4:21Speaker 3: with like to tech in to index funds, well.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Stick between when you grow shirt.
- 4:28Speaker 8: Yeah, when you do a five to twenty nine plan,
- 4:30Speaker 8: it's kind of similar to the four to one K
- 4:32Speaker 8: where you just can't invest the money however you want.
- 4:34Speaker 8: They're gonna give you options. So like each five to
- 4:36Speaker 8: twenty nine planing sponsor by mutual fund company depending on
- 4:39Speaker 8: what state it is.
- 4:40Speaker 4: So like let's say Fidelity and.
- 4:41Speaker 8: Sponsoring the five twenty nine plan that you want to
- 4:43Speaker 8: invest in, they'll give you two different ways how you
- 4:45Speaker 8: choose to invest. You could invest in the age base model,
- 4:48Speaker 8: which is like zero to five years old, five to
- 4:50Speaker 8: ten years old, ten to.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Fifteen years old, fifteen like eighteen years old.
- 4:54Speaker 8: So the zero to five is the most aggressive, and
- 4:57Speaker 8: then five to ten is a little bit that's aggressive,
- 5:01Speaker 8: and then ten to fifteen is kind of moderate, and
- 5:03Speaker 8: then fifteen to eighteen is conservative, very similar to like
- 5:06Speaker 8: how an age based retirement plan works, where as you
- 5:08Speaker 8: get closer to the child being eighteen or getting ready
- 5:12Speaker 8: to go to school college, then it becomes more conservative.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Or they'll give you, you know, different options on how
- 5:19Speaker 8: to invest, like you can just do like the moderate
- 5:21Speaker 8: or the conservative, or you can just kind of like
- 5:23Speaker 8: you know, base it off of that as far as
- 5:24Speaker 8: like the different modules that they give you. So I
- 5:27Speaker 8: would say the age base model is always a.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Good way to go.
- 5:30Speaker 8: It's auto pilot, and it's going to be aggressive anyway
- 5:33Speaker 8: because that's how it's kind of tailor made for a
- 5:37Speaker 8: person a child that's just born like one years old,
- 5:40Speaker 8: you want to be aggressive because you know, but being
- 5:43Speaker 8: that you know you're going to use the money, you
- 5:45Speaker 8: know soon. You just have to just keep an eye
- 5:48Speaker 8: on it obviously, and you know, just kind of you know,
- 5:50Speaker 8: make sure. But at any point in time, if you
- 5:52Speaker 8: want to change them, just put it in the conservative bucket.
- 5:55Speaker 8: You can, that's up to you. But until you plan
- 5:58Speaker 8: it on using it, I would definitely be aggressive with it.
- 6:02Speaker 8: And also, what when do you plan on putting your
- 6:06Speaker 8: child in private school?
- 6:08Speaker 3: I haven't decided yet. I'm studying again my life. I'm
- 6:12Speaker 3: studying ah to get well to be able to sell
- 6:15Speaker 3: life insurance. So I would like for him to do
- 6:19Speaker 3: private school at the start, but it really just depends
- 6:22Speaker 3: on where I'm at financially. I mean, I am doing okay.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I own a few houses and stuff, but I want
- 6:28Speaker 3: to make sure I'm able to afford it once I start.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I don't want to have to stop like in the
- 6:33Speaker 3: middle and like I plan on moving too, So I
- 6:37Speaker 3: would like for him to start in kindergarten, but about
- 6:40Speaker 3: fifth grade. It's a muss for middle schooling up.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I was about to go in the
- 6:46Speaker 4: first grade.
- 6:47Speaker 7: He doesn't need in kindergarten. First grade, yeah, Yeahan is
- 6:52Speaker 7: about to go to first like, you don't need sing
- 6:54Speaker 7: your kid to private for kindergarten.
- 6:57Speaker 8: Okay, okay, yeah yeah, so yeah, it's just something they think.
- 7:03Speaker 8: But yeah, you want to kind of hold off on
- 7:05Speaker 8: a private school as long as you can because obviously,
- 7:08Speaker 8: for a few different reasons, you'll have more money growing,
- 7:10Speaker 8: Like if you put the money in and take it out,
- 7:12Speaker 8: you're not it's not gonna be able to grow. But
- 7:14Speaker 8: then also it's a risk reward ratio with these private schools.
- 7:18Speaker 8: I'm realized I went to private school. I went to
- 7:20Speaker 8: public school, and I went to and I went to
- 7:21Speaker 8: private school. I went to private school late. I went
- 7:23Speaker 8: to private school in eleventh grade. But I realized that
- 7:29Speaker 8: up until like fourth fifth grade doesn't really matter.
- 7:35Speaker 6: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 10:24Speaker 4: You'd better getting at home tutor. Probably once you get
- 10:27Speaker 4: to like high school, junior high school.
- 10:29Speaker 8: That's when you know, that's when you really really got
- 10:31Speaker 8: to start thinking about things because like when a child
- 10:33Speaker 8: turns twelve years old, especially you know by boys and girls.
- 10:37Speaker 8: So I wouldn't really invest a bunch of money when
- 10:39Speaker 8: a child's like in diapers, Like what are they going
- 10:41Speaker 8: to do?
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yeah? I just always felt like the public school system,
- 10:47Speaker 3: like it just it doesn't do you, right that little
- 10:49Speaker 3: black boys.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Yeah, true, here's the important here's the important part though, right. So,
- 10:57Speaker 6: and I went to public school my whole life public school.
- 11:01Speaker 6: And this is the best advice I can give you.
- 11:03Speaker 6: And the fact that your here tells me that you're
- 11:05Speaker 6: going to be able to execute on this information. Education
- 11:09Speaker 6: doesn't stop inside the four walls. And the fact that
- 11:12Speaker 6: you have this sound mind, your child is going to
- 11:15Speaker 6: be able to learn from you. So public or private,
- 11:17Speaker 6: the foundation starts with you and the fact that you're
- 11:20Speaker 6: guiding this, uh, the family, and the financial freedom that
- 11:24Speaker 6: you're the path that you're on. It won't matter private
- 11:28Speaker 6: or public until, like Shaty said, when you get into
- 11:30Speaker 6: high school and the education starts to be a little
- 11:32Speaker 6: bit more challenging and it becomes more of a networking
- 11:35Speaker 6: tool the inside the private institution.
- 11:37Speaker 8: So you got to think about, like, you know, MG
- 11:38Speaker 8: can speak more on this, but this is a real
- 11:40Speaker 8: estate question as well, where a lot of parents face
- 11:42Speaker 8: the decision. Okay, it's like, especially like a lot of
- 11:44Speaker 8: these private schools, you know, they might be like forty
- 11:46Speaker 8: fifty dollars a year, So does it really make sense
- 11:48Speaker 8: to pay that much money for private school or just
- 11:50Speaker 8: move into a better neighborhood because you're gonna be paying
- 11:52Speaker 8: property taxes anyway. So if you live in live in
- 11:55Speaker 8: a good neighborhood and you're paying high property taxes, at
- 11:58Speaker 8: least you'll be you know, in a bet the public
- 12:00Speaker 8: school system where you know you can you can you know.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Go to the public school.
- 12:06Speaker 8: So that's that's always a debate with parents, especially black parents,
- 12:10Speaker 8: because it's like, unfortunately, a lot of times when you
- 12:12Speaker 8: move to nicer neighborhoods, there's not a lot of diversity.
- 12:15Speaker 8: And I'm not a big fan of putting your kid
- 12:17Speaker 8: in a school system where it's not diverse because I
- 12:21Speaker 8: think that that causes problems for children. So it's a
- 12:25Speaker 8: lot of issues with black people, especially when you start
- 12:28Speaker 8: to start making money, it's like, you know, you don't
- 12:31Speaker 8: want to stay in the hood. But then you don't
- 12:33Speaker 8: want to go to all white neighborhood and then you're
- 12:35Speaker 8: like the only person there that's of color, and then
- 12:37Speaker 8: you guys send a kid, and then that's issues. In
- 12:39Speaker 8: private school, it's like fifty thousand dollars a year, and
- 12:42Speaker 8: then that's an issue. So a lot, that a lot
- 12:44Speaker 8: to think about. But you know, it all depends on
- 12:47Speaker 8: whatever your goals are.
- 12:48Speaker 5: University, Thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you
- 12:55Speaker 5: for sharing your portfolio. Three things up from us, Thank you, job,
- 13:01Speaker 5: thank you, thank you.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Real quick, can God just tell us the earnings because
- 13:05Speaker 6: absolutely it's I mean, if they don't know, they don't know. Microsoft, Apple, Amazon,
- 13:10Speaker 6: and Google will be reporting this week.
- 13:13Speaker 4: You hear this.
- 13:13Speaker 6: Check the stat out in those four stocks, right, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon,
- 13:17Speaker 6: and Google, they represent twenty percent of the entire weight
- 13:20Speaker 6: of the s and P five hundred just those four companies.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Absolutely ridiculous.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Let's run it down.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Obviously, Tesla reported today they'd be earnings quick numbers on Tesla.
- 13:31Speaker 6: So for the first time, they reported one point one
- 13:33Speaker 6: billion in a quarter. Right, so they produce over two
- 13:36Speaker 6: hundred thousand vehicles and they did over eight hundred million
- 13:39Speaker 6: in their energy business. So all my Tesla folks and
- 13:42Speaker 6: my Tesla enthusiasts, I'm sure when you were looking at
- 13:45Speaker 6: CNBC after hours and so the stock go up, so
- 13:48Speaker 6: to you, hopefully it can be on an up trend.
- 13:51Speaker 6: I told you so. Tomorrow damn half day. My portfolio
- 13:55Speaker 6: is going to be reporting, so ups Apple will be reporting,
- 13:57Speaker 6: AMD will be reporting, Microsoft, Visa, Teledoc, Google, Raytheon and
- 14:02Speaker 6: the company you spoke about three m when we were
- 14:05Speaker 6: tying into the Apple by products. They'll be reporting on Wednesday, Boeing, Shopify, Facebook,
- 14:10Speaker 6: PayPal Service now McDonald's. And on Thursday, my company, my company,
- 14:15Speaker 6: my company, Amazon will be reporting earnings. And they were
- 14:18Speaker 6: obviously in the news today with those bitcoin talks. They
- 14:22Speaker 6: later have denied that they were getting involved in bitcoin
- 14:26Speaker 6: this year. I'm going to put a quotation around this year.
- 14:30Speaker 6: But they did put out a search for somebody to
- 14:33Speaker 6: be an executive in the crypto digital currency space. So
- 14:37Speaker 6: they put out a posting for digital currency executive, and
- 14:40Speaker 6: that sparked rumors. Obviously, we saw a bitcoin run up
- 14:43Speaker 6: to forty thousand is pilled back. I think when I
- 14:45Speaker 6: last chap before we started marketing money was at thirty
- 14:47Speaker 6: seven thousand, so they'll be reporting on Thursday, as well
- 14:51Speaker 6: as Twilio, and you mentioned them, you said top three
- 14:53Speaker 6: cloud services. You had Amazon, Zaid, Twilio, and I have
- 14:56Speaker 6: Skyworks in it. I'm not sure if people have been
- 14:58Speaker 6: paying attention to Skyworks in the SEMIS. It's company to
- 15:01Speaker 6: keep an eye on. And then Friday we got PNG
- 15:03Speaker 6: and Caterpillar. So those are I mean, it's a huge, huge,
- 15:07Speaker 6: huge earnings week. So those are the companies that are
- 15:10Speaker 6: that we're looking at for sure. And obviously, like I said,
- 15:13Speaker 6: majority of my portfolio will be reporting this week.
- 15:16Speaker 4: So there you go. Yeah, amazing.
- 15:19Speaker 7: Yeah, one last gym, put yes and chat. If you
- 15:22Speaker 7: guys have heard of a fighto score. Have you looked
- 15:29Speaker 7: at investing in the company fightco itself? The stock, look
- 15:35Speaker 7: at the chain, dig deep whenever a shot hit you
- 15:38Speaker 7: with it? Well, yeah, he ready to go? Keep you
- 15:40Speaker 7: out too much.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Longer, talk about that, talk about the fight go. I
- 15:43Speaker 8: never heard about that situation. Talking about that.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Because I mean, if you look at FICO, any tool
- 15:48Speaker 7: that the measures and tracks how Americans are spending, and
- 15:52Speaker 7: because credit score is are really a dead analysis tool.
- 15:56Speaker 7: Right now, FIO is at five point thirty nine, but
- 15:58Speaker 7: during last year got to a low of one eighty six.
- 16:03Speaker 7: So with housing going crazy, spending going crazy, Visa doing well,
- 16:08Speaker 7: who who determines if you get a credit card or
- 16:11Speaker 7: any kind of credit went out to you for housing?
- 16:16Speaker 7: For ISAAC Corporation excuse me, is a big component of that.
- 16:21Speaker 7: So if they are the ones that are dictating who
- 16:23Speaker 7: will get lines of credit, you probably investing in person
- 16:26Speaker 7: what the entity that is allowing people to get these
- 16:29Speaker 7: credit lines and credit cards and mortgages and things of
- 16:33Speaker 7: that nature. So if you look back five years ago
- 16:34Speaker 7: to stock, was that one on nine seventy seven set
- 16:36Speaker 7: five thirty nine ninety four. Now probably in three years
- 16:41Speaker 7: it'll be a seven eighty three. I don't want you
- 16:43Speaker 7: guys like yo, it's too expensive, But when it hits
- 16:46Speaker 7: a thousand, you're gonna be like, damn, I wish I
- 16:48Speaker 7: would have got into it. So look at Faiko, especially
- 16:50Speaker 7: when the economy is booming. That is a nice stock
- 16:53Speaker 7: to invest in when.
