- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the best betting show ever. I'm Lawrence Presman.
- 0:02Speaker 1: Let's make some money. We got a full slate of
- 0:06Speaker 1: baseball games going today. We've got WNBA, We've got our
- 0:11Speaker 1: parlay of the day, predictive markets, and FL futures, CFP futures.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Lots to talk about. I'm Lawrence President, Art to Caesar
- 0:20Speaker 1: and Joe Nary joining us. Let's get right into it, Art,
- 0:24Speaker 1: how did the books do last night?
- 0:27Speaker 2: A lot of big favorites one a couple on the
- 0:29Speaker 2: run line as well, so probably never a good outcome
- 0:33Speaker 2: when that happens, you know. Obviously a smaller slate, I
- 0:36Speaker 2: believe there was only one WNBA game, So we'll get
- 0:39Speaker 2: rocking and rolling today with that full baseball slate.
- 0:43Speaker 1: All right, Joe.
- 0:45Speaker 3: No, I mean it was it was interesting. It was over.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Otani hits a couple on run's, Dodgers win, but Yankees
- 0:52Speaker 3: get bad news. That's going to be interesting here today.
- 0:56Speaker 3: We'll see what they're gonna do. And the injuries keep
- 0:59Speaker 3: piling up as well, Art, So the NFL never sleeps
- 1:04Speaker 3: when it gets going here. But you're still seeing a
- 1:06Speaker 3: lot of people pushing MLBAT it aside and getting ready
- 1:10Speaker 3: for football here.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's the typical move here in the
- 1:15Speaker 2: middle of August, end of August. But as I always say,
- 1:17Speaker 2: the people who are there April first bet in the
- 1:19Speaker 2: baseball they're going to be there till November one, bet
- 1:22Speaker 2: in through the World Series. So that's always how it goes.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean I would assume baseball picks up
- 1:29Speaker 1: again once the playoffs start, more people are interested, and
- 1:32Speaker 1: especially given that there's so many day games, like the
- 1:35Speaker 1: first round of the baseball playoffs. I mean there's game
- 1:39Speaker 1: every few.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Hours morning, morning after that. Yeah, it's a great point, yep.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah, So Shark bets FO Today, We've got four w
- 1:48Speaker 1: NBA games going in an old slate of MLB. Anything
- 1:53Speaker 1: we need to know about.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Absolutely, they're on the Pirates and they're on the Blue
- 1:57Speaker 2: Jays today. Major League Baseball, the WNBA has been feels
- 2:00Speaker 2: like every game has gone under. Feels like it's like,
- 2:03Speaker 2: I don't know, twelve or fourteen straight unders, something like that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So they did take one under today. They took under
- 2:08Speaker 2: in the Sun's Game one seventy one and a half,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and they took a chance with the tempo at home
- 2:14Speaker 2: against the Fever plus ten and a half.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Wow, two Toronto teams being bet. Why would anyone take
- 2:22Speaker 1: the Blue Jays in Tampa Bay? Have they not seen
- 2:26Speaker 1: what has happened over the last two decades in Tampa Bay.
- 2:29Speaker 3: It's not good.
- 2:31Speaker 1: No, I mean, it doesn't matter what team, who plays,
- 2:36Speaker 1: who coaches. You could go back to Cito Gaston Madden.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Remember Madden. I think he started at Tampa Bay. It
- 2:46Speaker 1: makes no difference. Toronto doesn't win in Tampa Bay. I
- 2:50Speaker 1: like the under in that game, though, Art.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, obviously they're taking a price with the Blue Jays.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Tampa hasn't been that good here over last week, so
- 3:00Speaker 2: you know, maybe trying to say, hey, Tampa's in a
- 3:01Speaker 2: little bit of a funk, so let's kind of go
- 3:03Speaker 2: against them.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Bobby Okay, Haarley of the day? Aren't the season?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Eure up?
- 3:09Speaker 2: I'm up, and I screwed it up yesterday, so I apologize.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna take an easy one. Astras are gonna win
- 3:15Speaker 2: today at home against the Angels. Give me the Astros
- 3:17Speaker 2: at home.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Joe, Oh all right, well, I mean I was I'm
- 3:23Speaker 3: gonna say Pittsburgh, but you already went ahead and did
- 3:25Speaker 3: that for me there, so I am gonna go h Milwaukee.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I'm gonna say Milwaukee wins against Seattle here tonight.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna take a money line bet in the
- 3:40Speaker 1: w n B A and we're gonna take the US
- 3:43Speaker 1: Vegas Aces they're playing. They're playing Atlanta tonight, and yes,
- 3:50Speaker 1: it is a money line bet minus one sixty Las
- 3:55Speaker 1: Vegas Aces at home playing Atlanta. That's where I'm going. Okay,
- 4:02Speaker 1: So we nailed our bitcoin segment yesterday. That was excellent.
- 4:07Speaker 1: What do you want to talk about today? Bitcoin is
- 4:09Speaker 1: starting to make a run. Nobody nobody saw a potential
- 4:15Speaker 1: run coming in August. I mean nobody. We're gonna my buddy,
- 4:20Speaker 1: look at that thing.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Look at that spike count. That's it almost sixty five
- 4:24Speaker 3: now herez across the board.
- 4:27Speaker 1: So we have to look at over. I would go
- 4:30Speaker 1: with over sixty five and sixty or seven. We have
- 4:34Speaker 1: really seen quite the jump. I think we're gonna see
- 4:38Speaker 1: some momentum. And listen, I've been saying for you know,
- 4:41Speaker 1: months now that the run's gonna start in mid August.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And while we're in mid August, so I'm going to
- 4:47Speaker 1: stick to the plan. I'm gonna take over sixty or
- 4:50Speaker 1: seven five at forty four cents and over sixty five
- 4:55Speaker 1: at twenty two cents. I think we're gonna see some
- 4:58Speaker 1: movement now, Joe.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Look at that spike there, Pras. I mean really, I
- 5:03Speaker 3: mean sixty five is only about what less than four
- 5:06Speaker 3: hundred away, So I don't see I don't see it
- 5:10Speaker 3: trending down anytime. Usually when they start seeing this kind
- 5:14Speaker 3: of improvement by five o'clock today, unless some sort of
- 5:17Speaker 3: crazy news dump, it's it's gonna be over sixty five
- 5:21Speaker 3: here by five o'clock today.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well you can get that at twenty two cents.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Love it?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Okay, what else are we talking about?
- 5:29Speaker 3: Well, we're going to go back to our NFL exact order.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Who I love it here. So we've talked about the
- 5:39Speaker 3: NFC North, we talked about the AFC South. Now we're
- 5:42Speaker 3: going to talk about the NFC East. So Philadelphia Giants, Washington, Dallas.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Dallas makes a big signing of some geriatric they're going
- 5:52Speaker 3: to wheel in and expect to get to the quarterback.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I don't see that happening, but it does appear that
- 5:59Speaker 3: the Mark it seems to think here that maybe Dallas
- 6:03Speaker 3: isn't in bad as bad as shape defensively as maybe
- 6:07Speaker 3: we thought a year ago. Here von Miller on the team.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Now it's to me, it's Philadelphia or Dallas one of
- 6:15Speaker 3: the other preds. I don't know who you think finishes
- 6:17Speaker 3: first there.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So I've been you know, I don't want to say
- 6:22Speaker 1: high on Dallas, but I did pick Dallas to win
- 6:25Speaker 1: the division in my YouTube short video that should be
- 6:30Speaker 1: going up soon, and I still feel the same way
- 6:33Speaker 1: I did that before that von Miller signing. I do
- 6:35Speaker 1: actually think von Miller is going to be more helpful
- 6:38Speaker 1: than you do Joe. Obviously, he's not in his prime,
- 6:41Speaker 1: but he's a veteran leader, great presence, excellent in the
- 6:44Speaker 1: locker room. They probably overpaid, but hey, I'd rather have
- 6:49Speaker 1: him on my team than not on my team. I
- 6:52Speaker 1: am going with the following order, Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia the Giant.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Oh all right, let's see where we got with that price.
- 7:03Speaker 3: So you're thinking Dallas Philly right.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Now, Dallas, Washington, Philly, Dallas, Washington. There it is there,
- 7:14Speaker 1: it is there, it is twelve percent. Wow.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, So I'm done, And you think Washington
- 7:22Speaker 3: finishes ahead of Philly here, what are you thinking? Art?
- 7:26Speaker 2: That's interesting? I think to try to find a little
- 7:29Speaker 2: bit of value. I think you do have to have
- 7:31Speaker 2: Dallas as the winner in this division. So I would
- 7:35Speaker 2: go Dallas, Philly, New York, and Washington.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I'd have Washington last. Wow.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Wow, I'm curious, job before your order? Why is that
- 7:47Speaker 1: Washington last? I mean I understand you're a New York
- 7:50Speaker 1: Giants fan.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Well, I think the Giants and Washington are both at
- 7:58Speaker 2: seven and a half. They're tossing up. I like to
- 8:00Speaker 2: coach a little bit more, obviously for the Giants. You know,
- 8:04Speaker 2: Daniels is fine, but I also look at some of
- 8:08Speaker 2: his weapons and I'm like, who are his weapons really?
- 8:12Speaker 3: To me?
- 8:13Speaker 2: That's just a toss up and someone's gotta finish last.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So I'll make it a Washington there.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And are are? You really don't feel like Philadelphia is
- 8:22Speaker 1: gonna have a fall off the cliff regression at some point.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I mean, this team has been holding on a deer
- 8:27Speaker 1: life for the last two seasons. Uh, there's so much turmoil.
- 8:32Speaker 1: They lack weapons, they don't have a real quarterback, their
- 8:35Speaker 1: running back is getting old, their defense is getting old.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You don't feel like a huge regression at some point
- 8:43Speaker 1: is gonna happen in Philadelphia.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It probably is calming pressure. Probably not wrong there. I
- 8:48Speaker 2: just don't think it's this year because I don't think,
- 8:51Speaker 2: in my opinion, Washington or New York is ready to
- 8:54Speaker 2: take that stuff. The Giants never beat the Eagles. They
- 8:57Speaker 2: never do, so I can't trust the Giants to do that.
- 9:00Speaker 2: But I still think the Eagles. I mean, listen, they've
- 9:03Speaker 2: dominated this division for the last couple of years, so
- 9:06Speaker 2: you know, having them not when the division is you know,
- 9:09Speaker 2: having them take a step back towards maybe even a
- 9:12Speaker 2: bigger step maybe in a year or two.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Joe, what's your order?
- 9:18Speaker 3: It is very difficult for me to get past the
- 9:21Speaker 3: defense of Philadelphia and discount it same thing. I think
- 9:25Speaker 3: the Giants defense is also going to be over the top.
- 9:29Speaker 3: The question to me is, I just don't believe the
- 9:30Speaker 3: Giants can keep Jackson Dart from shooting himself here Art
- 9:35Speaker 3: at some particular point, and if that happens, what did
- 9:38Speaker 3: they do there? I think Harbaugh is absolutely worth considering
- 9:43Speaker 3: at least a number two or number three in this division,
- 9:47Speaker 3: but it's very hard for me to get past Philadelphia
- 9:50Speaker 3: on that defense. It's going to be hard, So I
- 9:54Speaker 3: would go and it's even at sixteen cents here, right
- 9:58Speaker 3: If you want to go that rute with phil what
- 10:00Speaker 3: are we at fifteen sixteen cents here? Or actually I
- 10:04Speaker 3: would go up Pierre, Philly, Dallas. I think the Giants.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I think Washington is a hot mess. I think Dan
- 10:10Speaker 3: Quinn gets fired before the season is over. I think
- 10:14Speaker 3: Jayden Daniels is also a hot mess. New coordinator again, Yeah,
- 10:19Speaker 3: I don't like anything I have seen. Not to mention
- 10:21Speaker 3: they just lost what two starting offensive linemen in Tunsil's gone, yeah, No,
- 10:28Speaker 3: not to mention the quarterbacks so worried about his number
- 10:31Speaker 3: being retired at LSU. So I'm good. I think Philadelphia, Dallas,
- 10:36Speaker 3: the Giants, and Washington in that order there for sixteen
- 10:40Speaker 3: cents right now. Press, Well, there you go, all.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Three of us with a different order, you know, talking
- 10:47Speaker 1: about a new offensive coordinator. I mean Philly is rolling
- 10:50Speaker 1: out one again. I think this is six and seven
- 10:53Speaker 1: years so. And you're really high on the Philly defense,
- 10:57Speaker 1: say Joe.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I think the Philly defense is going to be a
- 11:02Speaker 3: big difference maker for them once they'll win games seventeen
- 11:06Speaker 3: to ten, they'll win those games fourteen to nine. They'll
- 11:09Speaker 3: do that I do. I do see that built.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I do see that team play to the under a
- 11:16Speaker 1: h you're yeah, And conversely, I think Dallas is going
- 11:19Speaker 1: to play to the over. I think it's going to
- 11:21Speaker 1: be a great matchup when those two teams play against
- 11:24Speaker 1: each other. And I'm I'm more of a fan of
- 11:27Speaker 1: Washington of Quinn than you are, Joe.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I'm a fan of him. I just don't think. I
- 11:33Speaker 3: think they set them up to fail. I really do.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I don't think that team can win.
- 11:39Speaker 1: And you're of and both of you are higher on
- 11:41Speaker 1: Harbor than I am. He's like to me, he's like
- 11:45Speaker 1: the Mike Babcock of you know NFL. It's like, how
- 11:49Speaker 1: many unbelievable teams can you put together and come away
- 11:53Speaker 1: with two? And one of them was like eight million
- 11:57Speaker 1: years ago your last one.
- 11:59Speaker 3: So gotta be able to win it though, gotta be Well, you.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Know what, Andy Reid coaches that Baltimore Ravens team the
- 12:08Speaker 1: last two decades, they get.
- 12:09Speaker 3: More than two good point.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm not as high on him as as
- 12:14Speaker 1: you guys.
- 12:16Speaker 2: One, he doesn't have one Crank Dill. No, No, that
- 12:21Speaker 2: was Billy.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah that was Billy.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, he won the Blackout game in the.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Totally overrated court, overrated.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Coach Joe and they almost do the won that game.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm turning the regular season, he's not, which is
- 12:38Speaker 3: exactly what that market's all about. Give me to get
- 12:41Speaker 3: a regular season that the Giants will over perform more
- 12:44Speaker 3: than anybody thinks and ultimately, and I'll take a step
- 12:48Speaker 3: back at the end of the year when it matters
- 12:49Speaker 3: the most.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Well, we got Philadelphia plus one twenty to win the
- 12:54Speaker 1: division in Dallas at two point fifteen, Washington or seventy
- 12:57Speaker 1: five and the Giants at six hundred. None of us
- 13:02Speaker 1: think the Giants can sneak through and win that division.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I believe Dallas will. Both Joe and Art are thinking Philadelphia.
- 13:12Speaker 3: No, I put Dallas firstly because ultimately, until I see it,
- 13:18Speaker 3: I can't trust Dallas. Sorry, hey, and I get it.
- 13:24Speaker 1: They have been untrustworthy in the entire Dak and Tony era.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So I mean we're going on now what a decade
- 13:34Speaker 1: and a half? Two decades is terrible?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yes?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well so be it okay and fl future
- 13:43Speaker 1: bets or what else do you want to talk about in
- 13:45Speaker 1: the predictive markets.
- 13:47Speaker 3: That's good. We don't we're gonna do one of these
- 13:50Speaker 3: exact order a week here a day rather for the
- 13:53Speaker 3: rest of the week as we get ready for week
- 13:57Speaker 3: two of the preseason, and then I would this week
- 14:00Speaker 3: we'll start to see at least a little bit something
- 14:03Speaker 3: that resembles what we're going to see in week one
- 14:06Speaker 3: with some of these teams.
- 14:07Speaker 1: But right, usually happens in week three.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well instead of have it figured out agree better.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Because now there's only three games, it's gonna happen this week.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Well, that's true because they'll probably they'll probably sit most
- 14:25Speaker 1: of the people.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Over the next kind of what I'm thinking, right, mm hmm.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Let's let's talk some business, guys. It's five dollars
- 14:33Speaker 1: Tuesday over at wager Talk every Tuesday, customer appreciation Day.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I'm on a ten and three baseball run. I won
- 14:41Speaker 1: three on my last four. I have a five dollars
- 14:44Speaker 1: play up tonight. It's a first five and I love
- 14:49Speaker 1: this bet. I love the first five bets have been
- 14:51Speaker 1: going really well for me. All your so grab that
- 14:55Speaker 1: we're only five dollars over at wager Talk. What do
- 14:57Speaker 1: you got, Joe, same thing.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Prez actually cashed first five total last NIGHTE with the
- 15:03Speaker 3: Mets and Padres under and I'll be following that up
- 15:07Speaker 3: with a full game side here today. That for five
- 15:11Speaker 3: box is available over at WT dot Buzz Forward Slash Jr.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Excellent. Okay, boys, let's get into our NFL futures, and
- 15:22Speaker 1: I'm going to start right off the bats. We're going
- 15:25Speaker 1: to go to the NFC North and I'm going to
- 15:28Speaker 1: take the Detroit Lions at plus one seventy to win
- 15:32Speaker 1: the division. Green Bay is plus two to twenty five,
- 15:36Speaker 1: Chicago is plus three zero five, and the Minnesota Vikings
- 15:40Speaker 1: are five to ten. Let's start right off the bat
- 15:42Speaker 1: with the Minnesota Vikings. They have quarterback issues. We know
- 15:45Speaker 1: Kyler Murray is not a superstar. I don't even think
- 15:49Speaker 1: he's an NFL quarterback. McCarthy doesn't look like he's going
- 15:52Speaker 1: to amount to nothing. I do believe in their defense,
- 15:55Speaker 1: they obviously have weapons, but I think this team is
- 15:58Speaker 1: going to struggle. I don't like the Minnesota Vikings. I
- 16:02Speaker 1: think they come last. As for the Chicago Bears, I
- 16:06Speaker 1: think we see a huge regression out of this team.
- 16:09Speaker 1: They won nine games within three points last year. A
- 16:12Speaker 1: few of them were dramatic come from behind wins some
- 16:16Speaker 1: of them. I mean, I remember an Arizona game where
- 16:19Speaker 1: they were down like three scores with half a second
- 16:22Speaker 1: to go, and in half a second turned that game
- 16:27Speaker 1: around and won. Those kinds of things do not continue.
- 16:30Speaker 1: They also had a massive offhand plus nineteen turnover differential.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Could be wrong, but it was a massive turnover differential
- 16:39Speaker 1: that works itself out as well. I think Chicago regresses,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I don't buy into the Green Bay Packers. Jordan
- 16:47Speaker 1: Love is good, not great. Their defense is good, better
- 16:51Speaker 1: than good, but still not elite for me. And I'm
- 16:55Speaker 1: not in love with their coach. And now we leave
- 16:57Speaker 1: the Detroit Lions, and this Detroit Lions team is coming
- 17:00Speaker 1: back angry me and Jared Goff's the most underrated quarterback
- 17:04Speaker 1: maybe in history. They have weapons everywhere, up and down.
- 17:08Speaker 1: They're running back, their wide receivers, their tight end. They've
- 17:12Speaker 1: I think they've upgraded their O line. We know they've
- 17:15Speaker 1: upgraded their D line. Dan Campbell cries when he loses.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I think the Detroit Lions at plus one seventy is
- 17:22Speaker 1: an excellent vet. Take them to win the division.
- 17:26Speaker 3: I like that, Actually, Art, what do you think in here?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Well, this is someone that we talked about maybe a
- 17:32Speaker 2: week ago. So it's going to be a player prop
- 17:33Speaker 2: and it's cam Ward over nineteen and a half touchdown passes. Now,
- 17:37Speaker 2: last week when we talked about it, there were some
- 17:39Speaker 2: eighteen and a half's out there. Those are all gone.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So I look at cam Ward last year as a
- 17:43Speaker 2: rookie through fifteen, he threw to nobody. His coaching situation
- 17:46Speaker 2: was a mess. This year. Now you're bringing Dable as
- 17:49Speaker 2: his offensive coordinator. Say what you want about Dable, but
- 17:52Speaker 2: he did really well with Josh Allen, did really well
- 17:54Speaker 2: with Daniel Jones, winning a playoff game with him. He's
- 17:57Speaker 2: going to really help cam Ward in his process of
- 18:00Speaker 2: being a young quarterback. Then you add the free agency
- 18:03Speaker 2: where they get Wandell Robinson, they get the number four
- 18:06Speaker 2: pick in Carnel Tait, so now he's got some weapons.
- 18:09Speaker 2: You only need him to throw five more touchdowns than
- 18:12Speaker 2: he did last year. I think this is an easy one,
- 18:15Speaker 2: and they're going to be behind a lot.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Now.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I know salas a coach, is going to rely on
- 18:20Speaker 2: running and defense, but they're going to be down all
- 18:22Speaker 2: the time, so they're going to be throwing the ball.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So give me cam Ward over nineteen and a half.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Touchdown passes best bet I've heard. We spoke about it
- 18:32Speaker 1: last week.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Love it, Joe interesting. All right, So I told you
- 18:37Speaker 3: guys yesterday here that there is no way in the world,
- 18:41Speaker 3: and now it's confirmed because I believe we just learned
- 18:44Speaker 3: that bres Hall will be out two to three weeks
- 18:47Speaker 3: they're saying, but likely more than that with a groin injury.
- 18:51Speaker 3: So somebody has got to win the AFC East, right,
- 18:54Speaker 3: and yes, it is going to be the Buffalo Bills
- 18:58Speaker 3: once again. Some people question and really think that New
- 19:02Speaker 3: England is somehow going to make this you know, a
- 19:06Speaker 3: thing now again, and I have doubts on New England,
- 19:08Speaker 3: but I do not have doubts that Josh Allen under
- 19:11Speaker 3: center entering this season will get it done. Some questions
- 19:17Speaker 3: about the new coach, obviously with Joe Brady McDermott is out.
- 19:21Speaker 3: But I can tell you everything that I am hearing,
- 19:24Speaker 3: everything that I am reading about this Buffalo team this year,
- 19:28Speaker 3: is that they are out on the mission, which includes
- 19:31Speaker 3: Josh Allen, which means, yeah, an AFC East title is there.
- 19:36Speaker 3: And I would sprinkle a little something on Josh Allen
- 19:39Speaker 3: once again having that MVP kind of year where he'll
- 19:43Speaker 3: be in the discussion. So I would look to the
- 19:46Speaker 3: predictive markets for Josh Allen MVP. If he has the
- 19:50Speaker 3: kind of years that I think he's going to have,
- 19:53Speaker 3: it's going to be very, very hard to discount the
- 19:56Speaker 3: Buffalo Bills here this year.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe, I agree one hundred percent with your take.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I told you guys yesterday that Bill's minus won thirty
- 20:04Speaker 1: to win the division. I like Josh Allen to win MVP,
- 20:07Speaker 1: and I would also sprinkle a small amount on JC
- 20:10Speaker 1: mister Cook offensive player on the of the year. That's
- 20:14Speaker 1: plus twenty two hundred. So I'm with you on all
- 20:18Speaker 1: of that, joe Ce future bets. I'm gonna leave this
- 20:22Speaker 1: to YouTube. Guys.
- 20:24Speaker 3: What are you thinking are today?
- 20:26Speaker 2: I'm going back to the SEC. We were in the
- 20:28Speaker 2: SEC yesterday and we took A and M under. We're
- 20:31Speaker 2: gonna go Bama over eight and a half minus one
- 20:33Speaker 2: fifteen at CIRKA. I've seen as high as minus one
- 20:35Speaker 2: thirty minus one thirty five. Listen, the offense was bad
- 20:38Speaker 2: last year with the running game Alabama. Think about this.
- 20:41Speaker 2: It was one hundred and twenty fifth ranked rush offense.
- 20:45Speaker 2: That just seems ridiculous. It won't happen again. They'll get
- 20:48Speaker 2: better on the ground. They returned forty percent of their starters,
- 20:52Speaker 2: you know, production on offense, sixty percent on defense. They
- 20:55Speaker 2: bring in a new offensive line coach who built great
- 20:58Speaker 2: offensive lines at or So. I think that's going to
- 21:01Speaker 2: be improvement. Ryan Williams, who was supposed to be basically
- 21:04Speaker 2: neck and neck with Jeremiah Smith, will have a bounce
- 21:07Speaker 2: back year. They got to figure out their quarterback. There's
- 21:09Speaker 2: a competition, but I think if they go with Russell,
- 21:11Speaker 2: he's more of a dual threat that will help defense.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Might have the best secondary in the country. And then
- 21:17Speaker 2: you look at the schedule, No Texas, no Oklahoma, They
- 21:20Speaker 2: get lsu, NA and m on the road. I believe.
- 21:25Speaker 2: So it's not easy, but it looks like to me
- 21:28Speaker 2: a ten and two team, and I actually only need
- 21:30Speaker 2: them to go nine and three. So give me Alabama
- 21:34Speaker 2: over eight and a half.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Don't hate it, don't hate it. I tell you who
- 21:38Speaker 3: I think is going to over perform a little bit
- 21:40Speaker 3: here this year. To a lot of the betting public,
- 21:44Speaker 3: surprise is Auburn. The Auburn Tigers over six and a
- 21:48Speaker 3: half wins now call me crazy here, but I was
- 21:52Speaker 3: a big fan of South Florida last year and Byron Brown,
- 21:55Speaker 3: the quarterback. He won us a lot of money last
- 21:59Speaker 3: year back in South Florida. They're bringing over, of course,
- 22:03Speaker 3: the South Florida coach who's bringing over his quarterback who
- 22:07Speaker 3: threw for over what forty two hundred yards? Well, actually,
- 22:10Speaker 3: I'm sorry, rushed and threw for over forty two hundred
- 22:14Speaker 3: yards forty two total touchdowns last year. He's one of
- 22:17Speaker 3: the best quarterbacks in the country nobody's ever heard of.
- 22:20Speaker 3: He's two top receivers from South Florida also joining him.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Not to mention defensive coordinator. I believe DJ Durkin still
- 22:28Speaker 3: staying there. He's always one of the best defensive play
- 22:32Speaker 3: corals in college football, certainly has been over the last
- 22:35Speaker 3: couple of years. It's not like there's going to be
- 22:37Speaker 3: a shortage of talent for Auburn to over to, you know,
- 22:42Speaker 3: overplay what they've got here. Six and a half wins
- 22:45Speaker 3: felt a little light to me. Would not shock me
- 22:48Speaker 3: if we get seven or eight wins at of Auburn.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Of course, the iron ball will likely settle it all there,
- 22:54Speaker 3: won't it. Art.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Thank you guys, I'm going to throw in my two cents.
- 23:02Speaker 1: You guys went with all these good sexy teams. I'm
- 23:05Speaker 1: going with Charlotte. Oh oh, you love that under two
- 23:11Speaker 1: and a half wins, and the entire bet is going
- 23:14Speaker 1: to come down to the game against Citadel. It's like,
- 23:17Speaker 1: do they beat Citadel, they might get the three. If
- 23:20Speaker 1: they don't beat Citadel, no freaking chance. This is the
- 23:25Speaker 1: worst team in college football by a long shot. With
- 23:29Speaker 1: U mass right behind him. Two and a half wins
- 23:32Speaker 1: plus one thirty five Art de Seizon. This is a
- 23:35Speaker 1: one and eleven team.
- 23:38Speaker 3: That's ugly.
- 23:40Speaker 2: That's ugly, Charlotte. I thought he was talking about the Hornets, Charlotte.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Charlotte used to have that coach that Pres thought was
- 23:48Speaker 3: like one of the best dress coaches of sports. He
- 23:52Speaker 3: used to come out with like the rip sleeves and
- 23:55Speaker 3: was a total hot. He ended up in Michigan somehow.
- 24:02Speaker 3: And then yeah, so do you know that?
- 24:05Speaker 1: So Charlotte is two and a half wins this coming
- 24:07Speaker 1: football season. Do you know how many wins they've had
- 24:11Speaker 1: in the last two seasons combined?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Two?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Two?
- 24:15Speaker 3: Two? Is it two? Yeah?
- 24:17Speaker 1: They went oh to twelve last year. They are two
- 24:20Speaker 1: and twenty two in the last two, and now we're
- 24:23Speaker 1: supposed to assume they're gonna get three wins. Who did
- 24:26Speaker 1: they sign this year?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, so uh there's bras that's it. Uh in
- 24:36Speaker 3: up to two that's what you're betting there. I don't
- 24:38Speaker 3: hate it because if they win one, I'd be shocked.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Actually, well, it's all going down fast, guys.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I mean there's season.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Their season begins literally with all the shit. So it's
- 24:49Speaker 1: now or never. So yeah, I love that bets. Okay,
- 24:53Speaker 1: mlb rundown.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Go all right, Art, let's start here up at the
- 24:59Speaker 3: top Yankees and Orioles. Carlos Rodon is back here tonight
- 25:04Speaker 3: taking on Shane Boz. What are you thinking here? Yankees
- 25:09Speaker 3: at flight price?
- 25:12Speaker 2: I mean I would lean the Yankees, but I wouldn't
- 25:14Speaker 2: feel great about it with Rodin on the mound. But
- 25:16Speaker 2: it is you are getting a discount here with the Yankees.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you are Tigers at the Pirates Montero versus Ashcraft.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Ashcraft has been phenomenal in this one. I do like
- 25:27Speaker 3: the under eight in that game. They are Marlins taking
- 25:31Speaker 3: on the Phillies. Here. Art Gibson versus Zach wheel or yeesh.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I mean, you know, the Phillies did it again last night.
- 25:39Speaker 2: They'll do it again today. I don't know. The Marlins
- 25:43Speaker 2: are so up and down here lately, so hard to
- 25:44Speaker 2: trust them.
- 25:46Speaker 3: You've got Giants at the Guardians, Foster Griffin on the
- 25:50Speaker 3: mound versus Wiz and on. I will take the Guardians
- 25:53Speaker 3: to get that one done. And Cardinals at the Reds.
- 25:55Speaker 3: It feels like again. They split the doubleheader last night
- 25:58Speaker 3: at Art. What do you think it.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Was a wild second game as well. Cardinals are still
- 26:04Speaker 2: fighting here. I think they're like three or four over,
- 26:07Speaker 2: so they're like kind of you know, I want to
- 26:09Speaker 2: say the three or four back and the wildcard Cardinals
- 26:11Speaker 2: need the game.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I'll go with the Cardinals, all right. We also have,
- 26:14Speaker 3: of course Blue Jays at Rays. You talked about the
- 26:17Speaker 3: the Pros being on that game there. I think there
- 26:20Speaker 3: are runs that coming. I'll take the over seven and
- 26:22Speaker 3: a half. Arizona at the Red Sox. They crushed them
- 26:26Speaker 3: last night, Art Suarez versus Merril Kelly.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah, now Arizona's dealing with this Ketl Marte situation. Red
- 26:33Speaker 2: Sox are passed for me.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Padres taking on the Mats. Robbie Ray back at it
- 26:38Speaker 3: again for the Padres, Zach Thornton for the For the Mets,
- 26:42Speaker 3: they got one last night. I think they might get
- 26:44Speaker 3: another one here tonight. Your favorite team, the Athletics versus
- 26:48Speaker 3: the Royals tonight here? What do you think in Art?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Basically, the two worst teams of baseball take the over.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and you got Zebbi Matthews back on the mound
- 26:57Speaker 3: for the Twins. Runs are coming because Tyler Dolley's on
- 27:00Speaker 3: her mound for the Braves. I'll take the over and
- 27:03Speaker 3: that one Mariners and Brewers Miller versus Harrison Art.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I can't disagree with what you said in the parlay
- 27:10Speaker 2: of the day. It's gotta be the.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Bruce, all right, the former Toronto Blue Jay Goussman going
- 27:15Speaker 3: for the Cubs here tonight against Hudson of the White Sox.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I will side with the Cubs in that one. Nationals
- 27:23Speaker 3: and Rangers count Quatroll versus the rookie Kent. What are
- 27:26Speaker 3: you thinking? Art?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Just Ranger team. I can't figure them out, but I'll
- 27:31Speaker 2: side with them once again and they'll break my hearts
- 27:33Speaker 2: once again.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Angels and the Astros Classen versus Christian Javier. I do
- 27:38Speaker 3: like the Astros and that one and Art Dodgers Rockies.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Where are you going here tonight?
- 27:45Speaker 2: I mean you gotta kind of do what President yesterday.
- 27:47Speaker 2: You either lay the run in half, lay the half
- 27:49Speaker 2: run in the first five, maybe a Dodger team total.
- 27:52Speaker 2: That's kind of the way you'd have to look about
- 27:54Speaker 2: this game.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we're back to betting the run line
- 27:57Speaker 3: the Aaron Dodger games, and that is it. Press.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Well, that was a fun show, guys. Okay, should we
- 28:04Speaker 1: go through the comment section of yesterday's show?
- 28:07Speaker 3: Shoot it man, shoot, shoot and shoot.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Okay, Well we got David Takarski. We love him. Great show.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Thanks again, haven't commented in a while. Nolan's still watching
- 28:19Speaker 1: you all. We appreciate you, Nolan. Buffalo is minus one
- 28:24Speaker 1: forty five, says Bob Art. I'm still seeing minus one
- 28:28Speaker 1: thirty of the bills, aren't you.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean listen, I always say, like sometimes people
- 28:33Speaker 2: only have access to maybe handful lines there. You know,
- 28:36Speaker 2: you have to shop around, especially in a future market.
- 28:40Speaker 2: You know, whenever we're giving these sweaches out, I always
- 28:42Speaker 2: kind of say, hey, this is what I'm betting it at.
- 28:44Speaker 2: But also you got to see that it's out. You know,
- 28:47Speaker 2: it's you know, like I said with Alabama, there's a
- 28:49Speaker 2: lot of one thirties out there, but circus minus one fifteen,
- 28:52Speaker 2: so you got to shop.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Stop around Rodney Propter, another great show. When are we
- 28:57Speaker 1: going to find out about Art's news this week? Probably
- 29:02Speaker 1: this week? Stay with us, Good call Art on the
- 29:07Speaker 1: over Press. Sorry about your friend, appreciate it. Shot in
- 29:13Speaker 1: ninety two yesterday, Joe pretty much. You know, it's so
- 29:18Speaker 1: interesting with golf and me. It's like, no matter how
- 29:21Speaker 1: good I shoot, I end up at a ninety two,
- 29:23Speaker 1: no matter how bad it's a ninety two. I don't
- 29:27Speaker 1: understand how it works, but I'm always somewhere around in
- 29:31Speaker 1: ninety two.
- 29:34Speaker 3: That's all right, Press, It's better than one hundred and two, right,
- 29:37Speaker 3: that's the only match yep.
