Hey guys, I'm coming to you live from the streets of Paris.
• 0:05
Hopefully you can hear me. We're over here for the Big
• 0:08
Ledger Open 2/20/2020 Five event where they're going to talk
• 0:12
about some major announcements about the future of digital
• 0:17
  asset management, digital asset ownership.
• 0:20
Looking to get some big surprises, but this is going to
• 0:22
be a real short live stream because I'm doing it on the
• 0:26
streets of Paris, as you can see.
• 0:29
Really awesome here. And I just want to share with
• 0:32
you a couple observations and about why I'm so excited about
• 0:35
this big event at Ledger tomorrow.
• 0:37
And again, hopefully you guys can see me and hear me.
• 0:40
But tomorrow, I'm sorry, Thursday, Ledger's going to have
• 0:43
their open 2025 event and we are going to hear some exciting
• 0:47
things. I want to say something about
• 0:49
France. This is my first time ever being
• 0:52
in France. And some people said, oh, you
• 0:54
know, people can be rude. The people here are so nice.
• 0:58
I'm just totally shocked at how nice everybody is.
• 1:01
And there's a lot of people. Let me tell you, I don't know if
• 1:03
I can if I can show you up the street.
• 1:06
I mean, everywhere you go, there's just like mobs and mobs
• 1:09
of people and they're so nice. I mean, there's a guy on my
• 1:12
plane who was an executive at a tech company, an older guy and
• 1:17
he was like, come with me, I'll pay for you.
• 1:19
He paid for my or I went with him to the city and he paid for
• 1:23
my Uber. So I've never used Uber Uber
• 1:26
before. All right, UFD, keep up the
• 1:29
great work, everybody. Seriously, we got a lot going
• 1:32
on. A couple things I'm going to
• 1:33
tell you from memory that got me excited on the flight over here.
• 1:37
I saw that as far as I as I remember this correctly, we are
• 1:41
the number one coin when it to retention on Maybe I'll start
• 1:47
  walking. Sorry, guys, sorry.
• 1:52
We're the number one coin in terms of retention on the salon
• 1:57
of blockchain. And I think that APU, our
• 2:00
friends APU and Blue of Time talk with Blue that they're
• 2:05
number one on Ethereum and we looked at some data about that
• 2:08
the other day. So keep up the great work in
• 2:11
regards to that. I don't have my notes.
• 2:13
I'm out of the basement. I apologize here.
• 2:16
Look at that big building. That's crazy.
• 2:19
The architecture is really nutty, resilient Jack put out a
• 2:26
great video today talking to our fellow dusters about, you know,
• 2:30
hey, we keep going day by day. Things are working.
• 2:33
It will continue to work. So like I said, I wanted to hop
• 2:38
on here. I want to give the people of
• 2:39
France a big compliment. Everybody I've met in France has
• 2:43
been so nice. And also I'll let you know that
• 2:48
I am excited. I'm going to be, you know, kind
• 2:51
of rubbing elbows with some of the the big people in the crypto
• 2:55
world here on Thursday. We got a few things to do
• 2:58
tomorrow as well, but I'm excited to learn, learn about
• 3:03
what Ledger's doing. They are they I'm hearing
• 3:06
they've got some big announcements on Thursday that
• 3:09
will really, you know, kind of be transformative in terms of
• 3:13
how digital assets are managed and owned as we go into the
• 3:16
  future. So stay tuned everybody.
• 3:19
I'm heading over to the Notre Dame Cathedral for a few
• 3:23
  seconds. Get some rest.
• 3:25
Got a couple of big days ahead. Oh, wait a minute.
• 3:28
Upstairs, Susie, I love you. Don't worry, guys.
• 3:33
Look who's here. Be or not, he flew all the way
• 3:40
across the Atlantic Ocean so that he could be with us today.
• 3:43
Wow, We got 100 people on here. I'll just keep walking around
• 3:47
Paris for a while. What the heck?
• 3:48
I'm heading over the river. What's it called?
• 3:52
  The River Seine. River Seine.
• 3:55
Hold on. Why ask this guy?
• 3:56
And we're going to go. I'm going to go to the Notre
• 3:59
  Dame Cathedral. Maybe he knows.
• 4:02
Is that the River Seine? River Seine.
• 4:06
  Right there. Right there.
• 4:08
OK, Thank you. Yeah, it's the river.
• 4:14
Oh boy. We got a lot of big things
• 4:16
coming up for our community. Can't wait.
• 4:20
  This is Paris. Here.
• 4:21
I'll let you look. Oh, wow, look at that.
• 4:30
Look at that. I mean, I hear so old, but nice,
• 4:32
you know what I mean? I mean, like, although I will
• 4:36
say it one thing. I'll hold on.
• 4:38
Hopefully you guys can hear me. I got to go across the street.
• 4:42
I'll tell you the one a couple of things about Paris.
• 4:44
Number one, I think you're more likely to get killed by a
• 4:47
bicyclist than a car. The bikers are like nuts and
• 4:54
motorcycles are able to ride down the middle, like between
• 4:59
cars and traffic jams. It's legal.
• 5:02
Oh, and the elevator at the the hotel I'm staying at, it's like
• 5:09
like a coffin, like the size of a coffin.
• 5:11
All right guys, thank you for being part of the community.
• 5:16
We got really here. I'll turn around this way and
• 5:18
  get a better view. Yeah.
• 5:21
We have such an awesome community of people.
• 5:24
Let's keep up the great work, right?
• 5:26
Day by day, we continue. I'm over here.
• 5:29
I'm really excited, number one, to hear what Ledger's going to
• 5:32
share with us on Thursday. And I'm probably going to do a
• 5:35
little live stream from Barry Beck.
• 5:37
Actually walked by their corporate headquarters, really
• 5:39
cool here in downtown Paris, But also just to get to connect with
• 5:44
other people that are learning about the Ledger ecosystem.
• 5:47
It's going to be a lot of fun. I know the market's going to.
• 5:50
I'm happy today. I looked the coins down.
• 5:52
Salon is down. We're holding in there.
• 5:54
We're growing day by day. I don't have my beans.
• 6:04
Look at all those cars. Yeah.
• 6:07
You see? I tell you what.
• 6:11
Nuts. I wonder if I'm going to get
• 6:13
across the street. I'm afraid to go across.
• 6:16
Well, I can go this far. Hold on.
• 6:21
If you look up there, that's people, I think that's Notre
• 6:27
Dame Cathedral, that's are they going to let me go?
• 6:37
I'm trying to motorcyclist. All right, guys, I'm going to
• 6:41
sign off. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow.
• 6:44
I'm going to do my best, I promise.
• 6:45
A live stream every day. I wanted to fulfill.
• 6:48
I can go here, say hi. That's the bus driver.
• 6:58
Where the heck do I go now? OK, this way.
• 7:02
Well, there's the river. I think it's called the River
• 7:04
Seine or Seine. Wow, look at that.
• 7:13
So the guy that this really nice man, his name's Francis and he's
• 7:16
actually a founder of a big tech company.
• 7:19
I just met him on the airplane and I think he's got a little
• 7:23
money, but he was really cool. He's the one that gave me EU
• 7:26
free Uber ride. He was telling me that all the
• 7:30
tan buildings in Paris were built I think in the late 1800s
• 7:35
because the streets were too narrow.
• 7:37
So whoever the king tore down all these buildings and made
• 7:42
wider streets. All right, guys, you're the best
• 7:48
UFD. We got 170 people out here, man.
• 7:53
Can't even take the beans because here's the deal.
• 7:55
As I'm walking down the street, OK, day by day, here comes the
• 8:00
fun part. Day by day we get more people
• 8:04
who are buying UFD and eventually there's going to be a
• 8:07
bean shortage. And when we get a bean shortage,
• 8:10
we're going to go to Bata Hala. Oh, look at all these people.
• 8:19
Wow, look at that. Check this out.
• 8:22
Hold on. I don't know what this is.
• 8:25
Hold on. Maybe I'll ask somebody, you
• 8:29
know, Hold on. Do you know what that is?
• 8:31
Do you know what that is? That big building, that City
• 8:35
  Hall. Oh, thank you.
• 8:37
  It's impressive. That's City Hall.
• 8:42
You guys see that or? No?
• 8:45
  Well, behind me. Yeah.
• 8:47
That's City Hall. I thought it was like something
• 8:50
special, but I guess it is. And here's the river.
• 8:56
Oh, look at the boat. People on the boat.
• 8:59
Well, you can see that. Yeah.
• 9:04
There's stuff everywhere. I think that big steeple up
• 9:07
there is Notre Dame Cathedral. I'll just keep walking until we
• 9:12
find out if that's Notre Dame Cathedral, but I'm kind of
• 9:15
running out of things to talk about.
• 9:16
Hey, mate, I'm here. I'm doing.
• 9:20
I never live stream on my phone. I can see comments.
• 9:24
Can you guys hear me at all? I got a toothpick from The
• 9:28
people here are so nice. A guy gave me a free toothpick
• 9:32
at a restaurant so I could clean out my microphone on my phone.
• 9:37
  Anyway. Unbelievable.
• 9:40
Everybody's walking around. There's the river, man.
• 9:52
  All right, guys. Thank you.
• 9:54
I love you all. This is great.
• 9:56
  You're in Paris. Paris, France.
• 10:01
Welcome to Paris. I got to go quick.
• 10:06
Look at this guy. Hey, Unicorn Park, guys.
• 10:19
Maybe, you know, I get the Notre Dame cathedral.
• 10:23
  Notre Dame? Oh, no English.
• 10:26
  OK, OK. Thank you.
• 10:30
Well, they couldn't help me. I can't open my maps and do the
• 10:34
live stream at the same time. We got to be closed because
• 10:37
here's some souvenir shops. Do you know how to get the Notre
• 10:41
Dame Cathedral? This way, That way, this way.
• 10:46
OK, You're. Going to go all the way down.
• 10:49
This will the souvenir stand. Then you walk 123 blocks and
• 10:56
then it's left. You can't miss.
• 10:58
It OK, Thank you. I'm on a live stream.
• 11:01
Or Unicorn fucked us. What are you Unicorn fucked us?
• 11:07

• 11:20

• 11:21
Wait till you look at the street.
• 11:23
Hold on. I'm going to turn the camera
• 11:24
around. I don't know if you can see that
• 11:33
  or not. Where's the camera?
• 11:35
Right there. I'll just let you guys walk with
• 11:49
me for a little while. They say it's down here.
• 11:53
  Oh, wow. Really cool.
• 11:56
Paris is very, very cool. And it's super cool to be here.
• 12:01
And I asked the guy on the plane who gave me the free override
• 12:04
about Ledger. He was, he said Ledger is like a
• 12:07
super respected company in Paris now and that everybody knows
• 12:12
about them. Well, it's kind of cool.
• 12:16
All right, well, it looks like I got a long way to go, guys.
• 12:20
Hey, thanks for being here. How long will be on 12 minutes?
• 12:23
