- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shooter.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's no Welcome to the host, Rob Shooter, and it's Monday,
- 0:20Speaker 2: and guess who is back. It's a treat a dear friend,
- 0:24Speaker 2: Garrett Vogel. Are you there, Garrett, Rob Shooter.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Let me tell you if for all the naughties listening
- 0:32Speaker 3: right if, if you're looking for a great job, come
- 0:34Speaker 3: to the Naughty but Nice Podcast. Their vacation schedule is tremendous.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like I'm in the UK on
- 0:42Speaker 3: holiday that that's how long we've been off.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Like, I mean, look at you. You you You've aged
- 0:47Speaker 4: beautifully like a fine wine. You're you're You're like Benjamin
- 0:50Speaker 4: Button going back in time. I mean, I haven't seen
- 0:53Speaker 4: come here, kiss, kiss the zoom.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Scream when look at you, I extract my friend. We've
- 0:58Speaker 2: missed you terribly. It's been a minute. I was talking
- 1:02Speaker 2: to some of the other co hosts and what we
- 1:04Speaker 2: were saying, which is I think part of the success
- 1:06Speaker 2: of the show, what a really diverse bunch. And Garrett,
- 1:10Speaker 2: out of the five of us, the six of us,
- 1:12Speaker 2: if you include me, you're the only married person on
- 1:15Speaker 2: the show with children. Yep, and that is a big
- 1:18Speaker 2: part of your life and so when you get a holiday,
- 1:21Speaker 2: when it's a federal holiday, for you, you're with the kids,
- 1:26Speaker 2: it's not really a day off. Like for me when
- 1:28Speaker 2: there's a federal holiday. When I'm not at work, I'm
- 1:31Speaker 2: not doing anything. You have this amazing, but let me say,
- 1:35Speaker 2: very demanding job.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you know, and it's one you definitely signed
- 1:40Speaker 3: up for. And there's you know, you don't get paid much,
- 1:44Speaker 3: but you get paid in love. And it's like a stock,
- 1:49Speaker 3: you know, you invest in the stock and you sit
- 1:51Speaker 3: there and you watch it grow, and or like a
- 1:53Speaker 3: chia pet, you had some water and you just sit
- 1:55Speaker 3: back and watch it grow tremendously and then take over
- 1:58Speaker 3: your house pretty.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Much and take over your I know it's a lot. Well,
- 2:01Speaker 2: welcome back, Garrett. We have missed you. Let's jump into
- 2:03Speaker 2: the show. What time is it, my friends? Let me
- 2:05Speaker 2: practice time you got it's your vaccines, like riding a bike.
- 2:10Speaker 2: So Meghan missus Prince Harry's big award because one of
- 2:14Speaker 2: the children was not well. So Harry got this big
- 2:17Speaker 2: award in California. The Living Legends of Aviation. John Tramalta
- 2:23Speaker 2: also was there. I'll get to that in a moment.
- 2:26Speaker 2: But Meghan was expected. So mind side as people that
- 2:29Speaker 2: were in the room, they were there at the ceremony,
- 2:32Speaker 2: they all expected that Meghan would turn up. In fact,
- 2:35Speaker 2: they were pretty much told she would be there. Then
- 2:37Speaker 2: shortly before the award started, it became clear Meghan would
- 2:42Speaker 2: not be going. We've since found out that one of
- 2:44Speaker 2: the children was not well, so we don't know if
- 2:47Speaker 2: it was Archie who's four, or little Lilibert who is
- 2:50Speaker 2: two years old, but one was sick. Garrett, as a parent,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I guess this is just the curtain.
- 2:57Speaker 1: It's a blessing in the curse of it all.
- 2:58Speaker 3: First, you know, you got to think that the kids
- 3:02Speaker 3: go to some form of school, which I also like
- 3:04Speaker 3: to call a Petri dish, a science experiment. Let's just
- 3:07Speaker 3: call it where you you know, literally, if you do
- 3:10Speaker 3: not come home day one from school, when in September
- 3:14Speaker 3: or whenever you start school with a runny nose, something
- 3:17Speaker 3: is not right, you know what I mean. It's like
- 3:19Speaker 3: their nose fawcet turns on September one and doesn't shut
- 3:23Speaker 3: off until the end of May. But with that though,
- 3:25Speaker 3: Rob Shooter, let me tell you a little secret. This
- 3:27Speaker 3: is I'm going to pull back the curtain for all
- 3:29Speaker 3: the parents out there, and I think they know too.
- 3:31Speaker 3: When you don't want to go to something, the ultimate
- 3:35Speaker 3: get out of jail free card is, ah, the kids
- 3:39Speaker 3: are sick.
- 3:40Speaker 1: No one's going to question it. No one will question it,
- 3:43Speaker 1: Rob Shooter.
- 3:43Speaker 3: If you told me that Darby was not feeling well
- 3:46Speaker 3: and you had to stay home with Darby, you know
- 3:49Speaker 3: what I would say, Oh, not a problem.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't question it. You cannot question that.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You've just given me an absolute trump card. I didn't
- 3:57Speaker 2: even know I had.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You cannot use it on hey, though, you cannot use
- 3:59Speaker 1: it on oh.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Can you imagine if you're the first one that
- 4:02Speaker 2: gets the treatment and it's your own hand. I never
- 4:06Speaker 2: thought about that. It's an absolute wonderful card. Now I'm
- 4:09Speaker 2: told the child is not sick, sick, we don't have
- 4:13Speaker 2: to be worried here. But children do get colds. As
- 4:17Speaker 2: you say, Garrett, oh, they are little dirty devils with
- 4:19Speaker 2: all their friends, and they never wash their hands and
- 4:21Speaker 2: they never cover their mouths when they sneeze. I know,
- 4:24Speaker 2: whenever I see a child, I'm like, oh, I'm going
- 4:26Speaker 2: to get sick. I'm gonna get sick that I normally
- 4:28Speaker 2: do but nevertheless, I think it is a very good reason.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But shouldn't they can try to find a mom a
- 4:35Speaker 2: friend to look after the baby. This was a big award,
- 4:38Speaker 2: like Harry's not getting many awards now, and he did
- 4:41Speaker 2: take aviation quite seriously because he really hasn't had a
- 4:46Speaker 2: major job at least since he e quit the family.
- 4:49Speaker 2: The job that he had and liked the most was
- 4:51Speaker 2: with the Armed Services. Harry was served in the British
- 4:55Speaker 2: Forces and he's a very very good pilot, so this
- 4:59Speaker 2: is something that he's achieved without maybe his royal status. Now,
- 5:03Speaker 2: there's a lot of good pilots out there, particularly people
- 5:05Speaker 2: in the army, and they're not getting awards. So I
- 5:07Speaker 2: get it when when when people are given awards, it's
- 5:10Speaker 2: not always because they're the best, it's because they're the
- 5:12Speaker 2: most famous and do the skill very well. And so
- 5:15Speaker 2: should have she figured this one? Out? Sure? Should should
- 5:18Speaker 2: should have they figured it out as a couple, what
- 5:20Speaker 2: do you think?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yes?
- 5:22Speaker 3: And no, you know, but I mean she again has
- 5:24Speaker 3: one of those one of those weird situations where you
- 5:27Speaker 3: know you and I could call it the family member,
- 5:29Speaker 3: but as we both know the royals and families, they
- 5:34Speaker 3: don't sit hand in hand. You know, Meghan's family is
- 5:37Speaker 3: maybe she could have called some of the stars from
- 5:40Speaker 3: suits that she.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Does, but they would have come, you know, they would
- 5:42Speaker 2: have a friend Ellen. Or is that wrong to do it?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Is it rude? I don't have children, Garrett, So it's
- 5:47Speaker 2: a good question. If one of my baby is is
- 5:50Speaker 2: not well, Is it fair if I call uncle Garrett
- 5:52Speaker 2: and say, will you come over and babysit? Oh, by
- 5:54Speaker 2: the way, one's got a cold?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Well, yes, that is a little yes, depending on what
- 5:59Speaker 3: the level. If if I'm a godparent, no problem. You
- 6:02Speaker 3: know that's what you signed up for. You signed up
- 6:03Speaker 3: for that. But if you're gonna pass off your sick
- 6:07Speaker 3: child to me as you go to Harry's Aviation Award
- 6:12Speaker 3: and get all dolled up, and I'm coming over in sweatpants,
- 6:15Speaker 3: so you can you can go out and just sit
- 6:17Speaker 3: there and eat some chicken and clap. You know, you
- 6:20Speaker 3: and I might have a little bit of a problem.
- 6:21Speaker 2: But it's a complicated one, isn't it. They should have
- 6:24Speaker 2: called Ellen. I don't think Oprah would have come over.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Maybe Gail, but Ellen might have come over and helped it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: It's a very good question, and that brings us to
- 6:32Speaker 2: our pole question off the day. We want to know
- 6:34Speaker 2: what you think, Megan Michael missus Prince Harry's awards ceremony
- 6:38Speaker 2: because one of the kids became ill. Was she right
- 6:42Speaker 2: to stay home and Miss Harry's big honor? What do
- 6:45Speaker 2: you think? He wrote on a Twitter page at Norty
- 6:47Speaker 2: Nights rob at facebook page is naughty gossip and be
- 6:51Speaker 2: sure to check back time. I'll wrote to hear your results.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Hey Garrett, what are you working on? All?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Right?
- 6:56Speaker 3: So this is a little creepy too, So I know
- 6:58Speaker 3: actually where this actually happened. So the man was arrested
- 7:02Speaker 3: an alleged stalker trying to get into the building of
- 7:05Speaker 3: where Taylor Swift lives in New York City.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Guy's a total nutcase.
- 7:09Speaker 3: He was arrested on Saturday for trying to break in
- 7:12Speaker 3: to her Tribeca apartment, which used to be down the
- 7:14Speaker 3: block from where we used to broadcast this.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Fine radio podcast.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So someone from the police department said that they received
- 7:21Speaker 3: several calls of a disorderly person over on Franklin Street,
- 7:26Speaker 3: and when the police arrived, the guy was trying to
- 7:30Speaker 3: open a door. Now it's a front door, it's not
- 7:33Speaker 3: exactly Taylor Swift's door, but let's be honest, outside of
- 7:36Speaker 3: Taylor Swift's apartment, who else lives there?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Right?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Like, I'm not thinking like he's trying to go see
- 7:42Speaker 3: you know, Taylor's neighbor, you know what I mean. Like
- 7:44Speaker 3: he was trying to get in there, and you know,
- 7:47Speaker 3: people a lot of people around the block. You know,
- 7:50Speaker 3: it's one of those things where you know, this guy
- 7:53Speaker 3: doesn't belong on this block. That that's what he looked like.
- 7:56Speaker 3: But police couldn't do anything at times because he was
- 7:58Speaker 3: just lurking.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Unfortunately you cannot you cannot get arrested for lurking. You know,
- 8:03Speaker 3: the cops can tell you to move on, but doesn't
- 8:06Speaker 3: It doesn't really stop the person from doing something. You know,
- 8:10Speaker 3: he was probably lurking, they said for about a month.
- 8:13Speaker 3: He's sleeping on the stoop, chain smoking, constantly shouting Welcome
- 8:17Speaker 3: to New York as her song goes right, and was
- 8:20Speaker 3: unclear though if Taylor was home or not. We do
- 8:22Speaker 3: know she was in New York this week. She was recording.
- 8:26Speaker 3: You know, she was hitting the recording studio a few times.
- 8:28Speaker 3: She was up in Buffalo last night for her boyfriend's
- 8:31Speaker 3: big playoff game in the cold. But yeah, so we
- 8:35Speaker 3: don't know if she was home. Most likely she was
- 8:36Speaker 3: in New York, but she might have not been at
- 8:38Speaker 3: the apartment on Saturday Saturday at some point. But it
- 8:43Speaker 3: has to be weird, Like you go back to that
- 8:45Speaker 3: same home knowing that someone was trying to break into
- 8:48Speaker 3: that same place. You know, yes, she has security rob
- 8:51Speaker 3: but still someone's trying to get to you.
- 8:54Speaker 2: It's just awful. I reached out to my Taylor sources
- 8:57Speaker 2: and they reminded me that in twenty and eighty and
- 8:59Speaker 2: somebody got inside the house. They were found asleep inside
- 9:03Speaker 2: her home. Now, she was thankfully not there at the time.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Since then, I'm told security has been increased on all
- 9:09Speaker 2: her properties and to get in is almost impossible. Plus
- 9:13Speaker 2: if you do get in now, individual rooms have individual
- 9:16Speaker 2: locks on them, almost like panic rooms. It's it's horrible
- 9:19Speaker 2: crazy that we have to even think about this, and
- 9:21Speaker 2: Taylor does. I'm told that she's not that rattled by it,
- 9:25Speaker 2: that this is unfortunately part of her daily existence.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Have you seen her boyfriend? Like I wouldn't be worried too.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Have you seen her boyfriend? Imagine imagine trying to bring
- 9:34Speaker 3: into Taylor's home, not knowing that it's just her, and
- 9:37Speaker 3: then you run into Travis Keill like.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Away, get you're good.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I just think that sense though, of somebody watching, that's
- 9:46Speaker 2: what makes me so scared, and I honestly, I've got
- 9:50Speaker 2: to admit it here. I think the misconception is that
- 9:54Speaker 2: people that do what we do for a living, we
- 9:57Speaker 2: want to be famous. We want to be Ryan Seacrest,
- 9:59Speaker 2: do we want to Andy Cohen? And the truth of
- 10:01Speaker 2: the matter is, I don't. I love my little bit
- 10:04Speaker 2: of celebrity. I love my little bit of them being noticed.
- 10:08Speaker 2: But I'm certainly not a star, and I'm certainly not
- 10:11Speaker 2: somebody who has stalkers to be the level of fame
- 10:15Speaker 2: of a j Lo, of a Taylor Swift, of a Beyonce,
- 10:19Speaker 2: you can't turn it off, and so means the rest
- 10:21Speaker 2: of your life you're going to have security with you,
- 10:23Speaker 2: whether you go for dinner or even in your home.
- 10:26Speaker 3: It's just don't you feel it a little bit though,
- 10:28Speaker 3: because I mean, you are associated with a very popular singer,
- 10:32Speaker 3: was a very passionate fan base.
- 10:34Speaker 2: He Whenever I'm with Barry Barry Manilo, I'm always reminded
- 10:39Speaker 2: of how famous he is, because in the hotel room,
- 10:42Speaker 2: he's just Barry right, and then whenever you leave that
- 10:44Speaker 2: hotel room, he's a very an absolute and what it
- 10:50Speaker 2: costs him, not just financially, to be Barry Manilo is
- 10:53Speaker 2: a price I would not be willing to pay. I
- 10:56Speaker 2: wouldn't do it. I've seen fame up close and personal
- 10:59Speaker 2: when I worked with Jovi. It's a bit of a
- 11:02Speaker 2: scary thing, and you can't turn it off. Like I
- 11:04Speaker 2: would like to be famous on stage of Madison Square
- 11:07Speaker 2: guard and then meet you at Botty you knows, and
- 11:10Speaker 2: not be famous there.
- 11:10Speaker 3: But he just throwing that Leonardo DiCaprio New York baseball hat,
- 11:15Speaker 3: and you know.
- 11:16Speaker 2: What, It's just something that we don't think about. And
- 11:19Speaker 2: so Taylor has to think about this, but I'm told
- 11:22Speaker 2: she thinks about it very, very wisely. She has an
- 11:25Speaker 2: extraordinary team around her, and they're very careful to reveal
- 11:29Speaker 2: any details about her security rightfully so. But somebody that
- 11:33Speaker 2: knows Taylor very very well said to me that maybe
- 11:37Speaker 2: after the President of the United States, she's the most
- 11:39Speaker 2: protected person in America.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Not even that.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Now, Let's just say the relationship with Travis continues. She
- 11:47Speaker 3: is not only inheriting Travis Kelcey, but her brother Jason,
- 11:50Speaker 3: who is also a beast, who was taking his shirt
- 11:53Speaker 3: off in Buffalo last night. His his job as a
- 11:56Speaker 3: football player to protect the quarterback. He's going to protect
- 11:58Speaker 3: his future sister in law no matter what. Like she is,
- 12:01Speaker 3: she is protected beyond protected rush shooter.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, it makes me happy to know that,
- 12:06Speaker 2: but it makes me sad to know that there really
- 12:09Speaker 2: is a price to fame. Yeah. Moving along, Jill Zarn
- 12:12Speaker 2: might be coming back to reality TV. Remember Jill. I
- 12:14Speaker 2: loved her on The Real Housewives. She was like my
- 12:18Speaker 2: first real housewife that I became quote friends with whoever
- 12:21Speaker 2: best is, but Jill is somebody I went for dinner
- 12:23Speaker 2: with Bethany. Actually I met Bethany first. So I met
- 12:26Speaker 2: Bethany first, and Bethany was the most savvy. So Bethany
- 12:29Speaker 2: went out of her way to meet columnists, people in
- 12:32Speaker 2: the media. She invited you to dinners, to drinks, and
- 12:36Speaker 2: through Bethany I met Jill. I always got a kick
- 12:38Speaker 2: out of her. I think she's TV gold. Well, apparently
- 12:41Speaker 2: she's coming back on a new show. But this is
- 12:43Speaker 2: where it gets a little bit suspicious. Sources tell page
- 12:47Speaker 2: six that the show is heading to quote a major network,
- 12:51Speaker 2: but it's not Brava. So I hit the phones. I
- 12:54Speaker 2: know people are all the networks. Nobody has heard of
- 12:57Speaker 2: this show. So my experience here in Noughty's and and
- 13:00Speaker 2: don't get too angry with me for bursting your bubble
- 13:04Speaker 2: is when you do press announcing that you're going to
- 13:06Speaker 2: a major network, you're probably not. When you do the
- 13:10Speaker 2: press is when a network has signed you and you
- 13:12Speaker 2: announced the whole deal.
- 13:13Speaker 3: So if the press right now we're getting Housewives.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It's getting house Wife. It really is. That's what it is.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I wish you well, Jill. I think you're great on TV.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I also think to the moment might have passed. That's
- 13:26Speaker 2: the thing with reality stars is the moment passes and
- 13:30Speaker 2: they never really want to acknowledge it. And even the biggest,
- 13:35Speaker 2: biggest stars of Housewives, they do find a moment when
- 13:40Speaker 2: it's in the past and you have just sort of
- 13:42Speaker 2: figured that out or accept it. I don't know if
- 13:44Speaker 2: Jill has.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Well, let's let's try it. You know you and I.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Let's let's make the announcement we have been signed to
- 13:49Speaker 3: a major, major network.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Podcast If we.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Don't tell you which network. You know, it's not quite real. Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 2: quickly before we get a break in some good news.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Jamie Fox is back in action.
- 14:00Speaker 3: So yes, Cameron Diaz, Jamie Fox. You know, they were
- 14:02Speaker 3: shooting a movie and unfortunately Jamie Fox went through that
- 14:05Speaker 3: held scare a couple of months ago, and they were
- 14:07Speaker 3: back on set in Atlanta, Georgia, and for the first
- 14:10Speaker 3: time really since since the health emergency back in April.
- 14:13Speaker 3: They look like they were in a happy mood. The
- 14:16Speaker 3: walking outside together casual. And remember, Jamie Fox got Cameron
- 14:20Speaker 3: Diaz to pretty much come back to acting, and this
- 14:22Speaker 3: is like her first movie back in a very very
- 14:25Speaker 3: long time. So now that they're back in action, it
- 14:29Speaker 3: has to be a little weird because they're obviously picking
- 14:32Speaker 3: up a scene or two at the moment where Jamie Fox,
- 14:36Speaker 3: you know, kind of you know, fell ill. So it
- 14:39Speaker 3: has to be a little weird but unfortunate. But the
- 14:41Speaker 3: good thing is they're moving forward movies, back in action.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Seems like Jamie Fox is doing well, and you know,
- 14:48Speaker 3: I think this is not one of those things where
- 14:50Speaker 3: the move they did this just to get pressed for
- 14:52Speaker 3: a movie that hasn't even been finished.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yet this is real.
- 14:55Speaker 3: So I think I think people will go see this
- 14:57Speaker 3: based off of knowing this was the movie that almost
- 15:00Speaker 3: ended his life.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, do you think we'll ever find out what happened?
- 15:03Speaker 3: I've tried and I was thinking about that too. What
- 15:08Speaker 3: an uh. It shows that it can be done. It
- 15:11Speaker 3: can be that you could you could keep things to
- 15:14Speaker 3: yourself without the rest of the world knowing.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yes, yes, Sandra Bullock adopted a baby and we didn't
- 15:20Speaker 2: know about it, like you know these things during really
- 15:23Speaker 2: ugly divorce. Let me add they can keep secrets. Don't
- 15:27Speaker 2: feel bad when celebrity gossip gets out there because from
- 15:31Speaker 2: my experience, and I've done this a very, very long time,
- 15:33Speaker 2: they want it out there. They put it stars that
- 15:36Speaker 2: want to keep it a secret. Do Okay, We're gonna
- 15:40Speaker 2: take a quick break and we will be back revealing
- 15:42Speaker 2: more secrets in a moment. Yes, welcome back to the
- 15:48Speaker 2: should have dear friend, Garrett, Garrett, it is good to
- 15:51Speaker 2: have you back.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Keep on. Let's let's go for another two hours.
- 15:54Speaker 2: After let's keep let's we could do it. You know,
- 15:56Speaker 2: we both of us can talk. I'll say that. Let's
- 16:00Speaker 2: get to the polls. Hey, last show he talks about
- 16:04Speaker 2: William was spotted seeing visiting his wife Kate Middleton, who's
- 16:08Speaker 2: still in the London hospital. Should they tell us what happens?
- 16:13Speaker 2: So talking about mystery illnesses? What happened to Kate? We
- 16:17Speaker 2: still don't know. My inside is are telling me she's
- 16:20Speaker 2: making a great recovery. They won't tell me what happened.
- 16:22Speaker 2: They're telling me hopefully she's going to be out sooner
- 16:24Speaker 2: than expected, but they will not tell me what happened.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Does Kate owe us this? In her statement she really
- 16:30Speaker 2: asked for privacy and she doesn't want this out her
- 16:33Speaker 2: private medical records. But do they owe us what do
- 16:36Speaker 2: you think? Let's have a look. Seventy percent said no,
- 16:40Speaker 2: it's her body, it's for her decision and it's her choice,
- 16:44Speaker 2: and no, she wants this to be a secret. She
- 16:46Speaker 2: does not owe us anything, Kate. Don't forget to vote
- 16:49Speaker 2: on today's poll. Go to a Twitter page at Naughty
- 16:51Speaker 2: Knights Roll or a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip
- 16:55Speaker 2: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And now it's time for our noisiest of the dad.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Finally speaking nice of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle they
- 17:07Speaker 3: reached out to King Charles aka Dad and Princess Kate
- 17:11Speaker 3: aka the sister in law as an olive branch, a
- 17:14Speaker 3: gesture after their recent you know health scares too. You know,
- 17:17Speaker 3: I appreciate a good olive branch. You know, they didn't
- 17:21Speaker 3: do what I normally do for an olive branch, but
- 17:22Speaker 3: still following the news of the health scares, I'll tell
- 17:25Speaker 3: you in a second, both King Charles and the Princess
- 17:28Speaker 3: of Wales, Prince Harry Meghan Markle, they reached out for
- 17:31Speaker 3: well wishes as it's family at the end of the day,
- 17:34Speaker 3: so they're doing the right thing. Like if they didn't,
- 17:37Speaker 3: that would be the bigger problem I would think. You know,
- 17:39Speaker 3: Charles was hospitalized for corrective procedure for a large prostate
- 17:44Speaker 3: last week and then Kate had abdominal surgery last Tuesday
- 17:49Speaker 3: and I expected to be hospitalized for at least two weeks.
- 17:51Speaker 3: So a former press secretary for Queen Elizabeth said it
- 17:55Speaker 3: was the right move to do to reach out for
- 17:57Speaker 3: the olive branch. It's good that they wrecking eyes to
- 18:00Speaker 3: his sister in law and they've gone has gone in
- 18:03Speaker 3: for what was obviously a very serious surgery and of
- 18:06Speaker 3: course Dad going in for a surgery. He's seventy five
- 18:09Speaker 3: years old too, so it's not, you know, exactly always easy,
- 18:13Speaker 3: but it was the right.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Thing to do to acknowledge it.
- 18:15Speaker 3: And I'm pleased for Catherine and the King and you know,
- 18:20Speaker 3: it's it. We've talked about this before, Rob. It's family
- 18:25Speaker 3: at the end of the day, no matter where you
- 18:27Speaker 3: are in life, at the end of the day, family
- 18:29Speaker 3: is family, and if they're going through something, especially surgery,
- 18:31Speaker 3: the least you could do is go, hey, I hope
- 18:33Speaker 3: you're doing well, hoping everything went well, and you know
- 18:36Speaker 3: it's the right thing to do. As for an olive branch,
- 18:38Speaker 3: here's what I do when you're not doing Like if
- 18:40Speaker 3: you and I get into a little tip, Rob Shooter,
- 18:42Speaker 3: here's what I'm gonna do. And you know, I'll show
- 18:44Speaker 3: you my cards. I will literally go find some olives
- 18:48Speaker 3: or or olive oil and get a branch off of
- 18:51Speaker 3: a tree and I'll break the ice going. I'm just
- 18:53Speaker 3: extending a little bit of an olive branch. Then you'll
- 18:56Speaker 3: either go, oh my god, that is so cute or
- 18:58Speaker 3: oh my god, real cheesy, but it'll break the ice
- 19:00Speaker 3: and we'll start talking again.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, I think that's lovely. Thank you for that, Garret.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I also think that this is it's really great. Family
- 19:09Speaker 2: is family. But let me remind everybody, even with family,
- 19:13Speaker 2: one person has to make a move. You do. It's
- 19:15Speaker 2: easy sometimes to do nothing. Don't be that person. Make
- 19:18Speaker 2: a move. If there is a an olive branch that
- 19:22Speaker 2: needs to be extended, do it. Do it. And if
- 19:26Speaker 2: the other person rejects it, that's on them. I always
- 19:29Speaker 2: try to make peace. Okay, let's do our naughtyus that
- 19:33Speaker 2: Reese Witherspoon is being called out by fans as gross
- 19:37Speaker 2: after she snow off her car. So Reese went out
- 19:41Speaker 2: into the snow, grabed some eyes and turned it into
- 19:43Speaker 2: this really delicious looking caramel sort of chocolatey syrup, sort
- 19:48Speaker 2: of smoothie frozen thing.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's a lot of work to bring outside. That's a
- 19:52Speaker 1: lot of work to bring out side.
- 19:53Speaker 2: People will like sort of angry about it. Now, let
- 19:55Speaker 2: me remind you Reese doesn't live on tenth Avenue like me.
- 19:59Speaker 2: It's not dirty where every slive. She lives in a.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Beautiful, beauty no yellow snow snowwhere slips.
- 20:06Speaker 2: She has acres and acres of property. It's pristine. It's
- 20:10Speaker 2: much cleaner than probably anything here in New York. So
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'm not quite sure I'm as mad with her, but
- 20:17Speaker 2: the reice and naughtiest of the day. Hey, let's end
- 20:20Speaker 2: with a moment of Hey, simple today, happiness is a choice.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Say it out loud when you when you're brushing your
- 20:28Speaker 2: teeth tonight, when you go to bed, and when you
- 20:29Speaker 2: wake in the morning, look in the mirror. Look in
- 20:31Speaker 2: the mirror. Don't look past the mirror. Look in the
- 20:34Speaker 2: mirror and remind yourself. Happiness is a choice. And today
- 20:38Speaker 2: we are choosing to be happy. Hey, that is it
- 20:41Speaker 2: for today. Thank you so much for listening to The
