- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I can't believe we're gonna have like almost eighty today.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: I mean half that by the time we get to Saturday, but almost eighty.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: And so you better soak it up while you can.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: It's not gonna be around that much longer.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: By the way, I wanna really thank Mother Nature for something in a big way.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: And it's not the uh raging, throbbing toothache that I have, which is now throbbing even worse now.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: So I'm wondering Oh, I'm sure your meds are wearing off a little bit.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: Took them at four this morning, so it was like, yeah.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Excuse me, one minute.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Uh, but that being said I did offer you to stay home.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: No, you did?
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I put it in the text.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: I don't think I got that text.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: I'd have been the hell out of here.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: I because I I said to you after you had texted, I knew you had a toothache last night you had mentioned it on the phone.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's been going since Saturday.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Excuse me.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: And then this morning you were telling uh Wendy, which is our OM, Wendy, about having a toothache and that you were gonna call the dentist.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And so then I said, Well, if you and you had said you had broken sleep, and I said, Well, if you want to stay home and try to catch up on some sleep, feel free to.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: And she she even responded with, yeah, talking with a toothache would suck or something like that.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Uh none of those came in.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's so weird.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: So that's how uh that's how you got me here.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: No, I was gonna come in anyway.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's just no sense in laying around, and that's the damnedest thing.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: I put my head down, can't sleep through.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, well, well, anyway, back to what we were talking about here.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: I found this one a little weird.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Now, now don't get me wrong.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: I know every situation's a little bit different.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Okay, you you have a a breakup, things you know go different directions, this and that.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Sometimes they're very nasty and and they never really heal themselves.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: But for Toby Maguire to be officiating his ex-wife's new wedding, um, wow.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Good for you that he that he can.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And I think the only reason is because they have kids.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Well, I know that it's good for you, but their kids are grown.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: If you're not trying to keep that face of decency up at a young age where it's like they're adults now, they know like they're adults now, but the you even said she started seeing that guy in 2013.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: And which means 2013.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, look at that.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: You said 2013, which means they were probably teenagers or you know, whatever, whenever they started dating.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: No, they've only been together since 2023.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, I thought you said 2013.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: No, so Toby and her were married twenty uh oh seven to sixteen, and then there was the break, and then she was seeing this guy twenty-three, and then uh had a kid with him in twenty-four.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, okay.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: So they're they're pretty close to adults by that point.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Either way, yeah, it's just it's one of those things something you couldn't do.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I don't think that it would be well, one, I can feel real weird about it if I was officiating an ex's wedding.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: It's very healthy.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Healthy or just that one's does that feel one step too far?
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: No, I like it.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: It's not something that is Would you really well one of your exes doing it?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Um uh I have a pretty good relationship with most of my exes.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Like when I see them, I will hug them and you know, hey, how are you doing?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Blah blah blah.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: But maybe because it wasn't a wedding, it would be different if they're just you know right, right, right.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I think for a long time, I kind of I don't want to say hung on too long, but made it cordial too long.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: But then I got a little bit older and I'm like, I really don't need to talk to them anymore.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I don't need and we all have moved on in relationships, so there's nothing that's keeping us together to talk.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: If there's kids, then we're still talking.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Well, sure.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, yes, again, it's the to me, the officiating the wedding is a lot, but not for everybody.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Listen to this one.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: This one came from 0136.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: My ex-husband's new wife is going to be my maid of honor at my wedding.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: It's funny.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: You say wow! I say wow.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, it's great because I think you guys do in a funny way, I'm sure, make fun of the guy.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: The the the comments.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Is that healthy?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, it's a little like, oh my gosh, does he still leave his underwear right next to the hamper?
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Really can't make it.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Is that smart?
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: I think that makes it funny, fun, and no, I think you're lacing my new relationship with your problems.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, I think that you a leopard doesn't change its spots.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: It's probably the same problems.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, so it's what you can tolerate versus Yes, exactly.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: I couldn't tolerate, or maybe they're a little bit different, but they still leave their underwear right next to the hamper.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: They just can't quite make it in.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: I I I'm having a hard time with this one.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I really am.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And then wait, this one.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Um but but and don't get me wrong, I don't hate my ex-wife.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, I just I know what you don't want her officiating your wedding.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: I would not.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: I Tiffany definitely wouldn't want that either.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Not that we're gonna have to worry about a wedding, but nonetheless, I don't think that's well, no, just in general, we both neither one of us want to get married.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Also, that's something that happens too sometimes, but Oh yeah, for sure.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: But you know I'm gonna give you.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: So speaking of couples, I'm gonna give you a you can only pick two, okay?
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: And you guys can text us your two as well.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: So get on our app, see where there is the little notepad or the microphone.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: You can talk it, or you can write it out.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Either way, it doesn't matter.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: All right, couples, you can only pick two.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Number one, never argue again, weekly date nights, lifetime of financial freedom, a strong community of married friends, amazing communication, and uh 50 more healthy years together.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: You can only pick two.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Uh easy.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, I will take never fight again and uh financial security.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: I knew you were gonna pick financial security.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Lock them in.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Think about that.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Because that'll eliminate a lot of the fighting.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: So that's good.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: We're covered there.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: That's why I wouldn't pick those two.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: If you pick one, then I think you're gonna be so like like let's say you pick financial freedom, then you probably are gonna risk it.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Financial security.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, um, not necessarily because what if somebody still w wants well if the fight was about this, what if someone still wants to spend over and then the financial security starts to get a little wobbly?
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: No, I just I don't I don't feel like fighting.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: And the other thing is is I don't want the strain of of uh financial security.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I I definitely am picking amazing communication because I have it now and it is so freeing.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And okay, let me think about this one.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't like arguing either.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have to go with never argue again.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I hate arguing.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Which I could say the same argument to you.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Do I like to rile it up a little bit?
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, I do.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: Yes, you do.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: But I could say the same thing to you in regards to the the two you picked.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Amazing communication means we're really not arguing.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: You're not arguing.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: You could, but you're right.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So maybe I should pick financial freedom, amazing communication.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Those are my two are my two.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: I isn't that nice?
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: And funny, you didn't pick the date night thing, but I think that can just happen naturally.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: If you have amazing communication, doesn't every day, night at dinner feel like a date night?
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: What uh give it the choices again so people can pick two.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: It is never argue again, weekly date nights, lifetime of financial freedom, a strong community of married friends, amazing communication, and fifty more healthy years together.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: You guys decide.
