A Cup of Flour from the Colmans
Aired: Jan 16th, 1949. Jack sends Rochester out for scrapbook paste, only to discover the household is out of flour after an epic raisin-bread binge. That sends Jack next door to borrow a cup from his glamorous neighbors the Colmans, leading to a mix-up with their butler Sherwood and a hilariously garbled retelling of Mary's sister's romance with a glass-blowing suitor. As always, the real laughs come from Jack's bottomless vanity and the sharp-tongued jabs of his ensemble.
