• 0:51
Speaker 2: Baton Rouge And let's go ahead. It is nine o'clock
• 0:55
Speaker 2: on a Monday morning, and get into some weekend winters.
• 1:00
Speaker 2: That's how win it has done.
• 1:01
  Speaker 3: That's right.
• 1:02
Speaker 2: We can't have anyone to freak out out there. Okay,
• 1:05
  Speaker 2: he's got a k bark apologer got too far. I'm
• 1:09
Speaker 2: by winning. I went here and I went there. Now,
• 1:12
Speaker 2: what are you doing what it takes to win a championship?
• 1:17
  Speaker 4: Wow?
• 1:17
  Speaker 2: Winning?
• 1:19
Speaker 5: Well, then I guess there's only one thing left to do.
• 1:23
Speaker 5: What's that win the whole thing?
• 1:30
Speaker 2: All right? Weekend winner? How could that start anywhere else?
• 1:35
Speaker 2: My guy, Antonio Gates, my former teammate in San Diego,
• 1:39
Speaker 2: makes it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Someone
• 1:43
Speaker 2: who did not play college football, not a single snap
• 1:47
Speaker 2: of college football. He only played college basketball at Kent State. Now,
• 1:52
Speaker 2: he had a great football background in high school, and
• 1:55
Speaker 2: there was an opportunity he was gonna sign with Michigan
• 1:57
Speaker 2: State and Nick Saban, and you know, things happen. He
• 2:00
Speaker 2: finds his way to Kent State and he's a basketball
• 2:02
Speaker 2: player there. Certainly, you know, they had to run a
• 2:05
Speaker 2: nice deep tournament run and he was kind of the
• 2:07
Speaker 2: star of the run. And he got to try out.
• 2:10
Speaker 2: They got to try out with the San Diego Chargers,
• 2:12
Speaker 2: and obviously he makes the team, and I believe becomes
• 2:18
Speaker 2: the first Hall of Famer to never take a snap
• 2:21
Speaker 2: of college football. Right, that is correct? Okay, geting the
• 2:24
Speaker 2: thumbs up. What a remarkable stat That is the first
• 2:28
Speaker 2: ever to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame without
• 2:30
Speaker 2: taking a single snap in college football. That's what Antonio
• 2:34
Speaker 2: Gates does. Eight time Pro Bowl selection, three times first
• 2:38
Speaker 2: team All Pro, two times second team All Pro. So
• 2:41
Speaker 2: five times in his career. He was on the All
• 2:44
Speaker 2: Pro team, on the NFL All Decade Team. In the
• 2:47
Speaker 2: two thousands, Chargers all time leader in touchdown receptions, receptions
• 2:52
Speaker 2: and receiving yards, the most touchdowns by any tight end
• 2:55
Speaker 2: in NFL history. An incredible teammate, somebody that was always
• 3:01
Speaker 2: in the foxhole. He was at every single workout in
• 3:04
Speaker 2: the off season. It did not matter the time of year,
• 3:08
Speaker 2: Gates was going to be there. If the building was
• 3:10
Speaker 2: open and teammates were there, Gates was in the building
• 3:12
Speaker 2: as well. One of the best human beings that he'll
• 3:15
Speaker 2: ever meet. He had twenty one career games with over
• 3:18
Speaker 2: one hundred yards receiving twenty one career multiple touchdown games
• 3:24
Speaker 2: in the NFL. He had a touchdown in fifteen consecutive seasons.
• 3:28
Speaker 2: That is also an NFL record for tight ends. So
• 3:32
Speaker 2: my man, Antonio Gates, little clap for you. You deserve it.
• 3:36
Speaker 2: For my money, the best tight end we've ever seen,
• 3:39
Speaker 2: and the stats backed that up. He had such an
• 3:41
Speaker 2: incredible connection with my guy pr seventeen. They knew what
• 3:45
Speaker 2: each other, you know, was going to do before it
• 3:47
Speaker 2: ever happened. They could look at each other and you'd
• 3:50
Speaker 2: see a sixty yard touchdown. And so glad that Gates
• 3:54
Speaker 2: got into the Hall of Fame. He should have been
• 3:55
Speaker 2: a first ballot. Don't know how that falls to the cracks,
• 3:57
Speaker 2: but either way he makes it on. There was so
• 4:00
Speaker 2: cool to see all of my former teammates there with
• 4:02
Speaker 2: him in Canton. Ohio Antonio Gates week in winter.
• 4:07
Speaker 4: Shout out Antonio Gates baller. That's super exciting though, to
• 4:12
Speaker 4: have a teammate get into the Hall of Fame.
• 4:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, it means. It means a couple of things. Means
• 4:17
Speaker 2: that you have some really good times. It means you're old.
• 4:19
  Speaker 6: Yeah, I would.
• 4:22
Speaker 7: Feel like somebody is in the Hall of Fame like you.
• 4:26
Speaker 2: I got a few more coming up, number, But you
• 4:29
Speaker 2: know what, nothing, nothing makes you feel older than when
• 4:33
Speaker 2: a teammate of yours or somebody who played against is
• 4:36
Speaker 2: like a head coach in the NFL.
• 4:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's like or their kids playing in college.
• 4:41
  Speaker 2: That's bad too.
• 4:42
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 4:43
Speaker 2: Hell I got teammates John Runyon, his son plays for
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: the Packers.
• 4:47
Speaker 7: That yeah, that one's yeah.
• 4:51
Speaker 2: Come back from that.
• 4:52
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 4:52
Speaker 7: So my we have a weekend loser, all right.
• 4:57
Speaker 6: And so we talked about Summer Slam a little bit earlier.
• 5:00
Speaker 4: We did, but mine doesn't really have to do with
• 5:03
Speaker 4: the wrestler. So Russell Wilson was in attendance at SummerSlam
• 5:07
  Speaker 4: is at MetLife.
• 5:09
Speaker 7: So where he's about to lead the team.
• 5:11
Speaker 4: You know, they already named him their starting quarterback obviously,
• 5:15
Speaker 4: I mean, but he set to lead the Giants this
• 5:18
Speaker 4: coming season, signed a one year deal with them. In
• 5:21
Speaker 4: the off season, him and his son were at the
• 5:25
  Speaker 4: at SummerSlam.
• 5:26
Speaker 6: The camera shows them in.
• 5:28
Speaker 4: The crowd, Like, I got booed at his own stadium.
• 5:33
  Speaker 2: That's good.
• 5:34
Speaker 4: We gotta give him a weekend loser for that one,
• 5:36
Speaker 4: because how are you gonna get booed in your own stadium.
• 5:38
  Speaker 7: I get you're new to it, but that's not a
• 5:40
  Speaker 7: good sign.
• 5:41
Speaker 4: And I get that maybe yeah right, and I get
• 5:44
Speaker 4: that maybe like they're.
• 5:45
  Speaker 6: Not the same.
• 5:46
Speaker 4: Maybe the fandom doesn't cross over. I mean, I would
• 5:49
Speaker 4: assume that it does.
• 5:51
  Speaker 7: Like people that.
• 5:51
Speaker 4: Enjoy the WW probably enjoy football, So maybe that's like
• 5:56
Speaker 4: like a plus that it wasn't a football quote unquote out.
• 6:00
Speaker 4: But that's not a good look that you're getting booed
• 6:03
Speaker 4: already in the stadium that you're gonna be playing in
• 6:06
  Speaker 4: all season long.
• 6:07
Speaker 7: So we get loser. Russell Wilson mister unlimited.
• 6:12
Speaker 2: Hey dangerous. Also like, don't wear your your logo like
• 6:18
Speaker 2: everywhere you go. Take a night off.
• 6:21
Speaker 4: OK, maybe that's why Matt.
• 6:26
  Speaker 6: It's like holding a mirror.
• 6:27
Speaker 4: Matt wears his logo twenty four seven. He's like, I
• 6:31
Speaker 4: don't like the mirror being held up to me.
• 6:33
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, shots fired.
• 6:39
Speaker 8: Did people feel a certain way about Russell Wilson Giants fans,
• 6:42
Speaker 8: your quarterback last year was Tommy DeVito and Daniel.
• 6:45
Speaker 5: Jones, Like, let's let's right like you.
• 6:51
Speaker 8: About Wilson, But it ain't like they've been a model
• 6:54
Speaker 8: of consistency at that position. My weekend winter will be
• 6:59
Speaker 8: Ricky Piersol of the San Francisco forty nine ers. Now,
• 7:02
Speaker 8: over the weekend, it came out that he seems to
• 7:05
Speaker 8: be unequivocally right, unequivocally Brock Party's top target. Now, that
• 7:11
Speaker 8: in itself is okay, fine, but look at what happened
• 7:14
Speaker 8: at their position. Recently got rid of Deebo Samuel Brandon Ayuk,
• 7:18
Speaker 8: who the hell knows what's going on with him. That
• 7:20
Speaker 8: was a terrible contract. Juwan Jennings was kind of your
• 7:23
Speaker 8: top guy a year ago. He's trying to get traded
• 7:26
Speaker 8: because he hasn't got a new contract yet. And Ricky
• 7:28
Speaker 8: Piersol's reaping the benefits of all of this right now.
• 7:31
Speaker 8: He is balling a training camp. Like for anybody, if
• 7:34
Speaker 8: you're looking for someone out there to root for.
• 7:36
Speaker 5: Make it Ricky Piersol. You saw what he went through
• 7:38
  Speaker 5: a year ago.
• 7:39
Speaker 8: Man, he was kind of the fourth receiver. Now he
• 7:42
Speaker 8: appears to be the top option with all these guys
• 7:45
Speaker 8: either not living up to their contracts, getting traded, asking
• 7:48
Speaker 8: to be traded, and sitting out of practice. Like Ricky
• 7:50
Speaker 8: Piersoll is reaping the benefits of this right now. So
• 7:52
Speaker 8: a Weekend winner is mister Piersoll.
• 7:56
Speaker 2: Hell yeah, he uh Look, I mean all jokes aside it.
• 8:00
Speaker 2: I mean, the man did get robbed and shot and
• 8:02
Speaker 2: still came back in the same season, which is just
• 8:06
Speaker 2: wild and it shows you just kind of what kind
• 8:08
Speaker 2: of player he is.
• 8:09
Speaker 5: And he came back quicker than Zion.
• 8:12
  Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fair.
• 8:13
Speaker 5: And Zion like stubbed his too.
• 8:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, so it was pinky. How about how about Arizona
• 8:20
Speaker 2: State when Ricky pier saw Jayden Daniels, Ayuk and White
• 8:26
Speaker 2: was it running back?
• 8:28
  Speaker 6: Wait, that's crazy.
• 8:30
Speaker 2: I mean they were better that year, but like that's
• 8:32
Speaker 2: egregious that they didn't win more games.
• 8:34
Speaker 5: That's why, that's why Herr Edwards ain't there no more?
• 8:37
Speaker 2: My god, what offensive talent they had there. Uh, I'm
• 8:42
Speaker 2: gonna go Weekend Winter. One of my former position coaches
• 8:46
Speaker 2: actually my first position coach at LSU. Derek Dooley, this man,
• 8:53
Speaker 2: and it's not shocking, is running for senator in the
• 8:56
Speaker 2: state of Georgia. Now, of course, his father, Vinced one
• 9:00
Speaker 2: of the all time legendary coaches for the Georgia Bulldogs.
• 9:04
Speaker 2: I think the field might even be named after Vince Dooley. So,
• 9:07
Speaker 2: Derek Dooley was a lawyer, went to law school before
• 9:11
Speaker 2: he became a coach, and so like we all knew
• 9:13
Speaker 2: that that's who he was and that was his background,
• 9:16
Speaker 2: and you could tell it like in everyday life that
• 9:17
Speaker 2: that's what Derek Dooley. He's a lawyer, and it always
• 9:23
Speaker 2: felt like he was going to do something outside of football. Now,
• 9:26
Speaker 2: he was in football for a long time and he coached.
• 9:29
Speaker 6: Was he the one that.
• 9:30
Speaker 7: Said Flynn had fat ankles?
• 9:32
Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, that would be him, great evaluator of talent. Yeah,
• 9:36
Speaker 2: I mean he didn't miss anything. Oh fat ankle, cankle Flynn, right.
• 9:41
Speaker 2: And so like he's been head coach at Tennessee, he
• 9:45
Speaker 2: was the head coach at Louisian Tech, he was an
• 9:46
Speaker 2: athletic director at Louisiana Tech. And he's been a position
• 9:49
Speaker 2: coach in the NFL for the Cowboys for a long
• 9:52
Speaker 2: time as well, But it always felt like he was
• 9:54
Speaker 2: going to do something outside.
• 9:57
Speaker 8: Oh he looks like right, So that's this is why
• 10:00
Speaker 8: I pulled him up. You want to tell I mean,
• 10:03
Speaker 8: five people you've met in life that look more like
• 10:06
Speaker 8: a lawyer than that man right there.
• 10:07
Speaker 4: Yeah, Old duels as a senator if I've ever seen
• 10:11
Speaker 4: that guy, that guy is a politician.
• 10:13
  Speaker 5: He's a lawyer, lawmaker, whatever.
• 10:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, and again, this man coached football for a very,
• 10:18
Speaker 2: very very long time. He's with the Cowboys, he was
• 10:20
Speaker 2: in the Missouri, he's with the New York Giants. I
• 10:22
Speaker 2: think he was most recently with Alabama. But I mean
• 10:26
Speaker 2: he played college football at UVA. So look, he's been
• 10:29
Speaker 2: in the game for a long time. But he always
• 10:32
Speaker 2: felt like somebody that was going to do something outside
• 10:35
Speaker 2: of football. He just did. And so you know, hey,
• 10:37
Speaker 2: week in winter, unless he loses the race, dere.
• 10:39
Speaker 4: Dooley, if I could vote for him, I would just
• 10:43
Speaker 4: off the fat ankles off, fat ankles off his Look
• 10:47
  Speaker 4: what state?
• 10:48
  Speaker 5: What state?
• 10:49
Speaker 2: George, Georgia. Yeah, again, that's smart where his dad's an
• 10:53
  Speaker 2: absolute leg Yeah.
• 10:54
Speaker 8: That makes that makes to him maybe stay away from
• 10:56
Speaker 8: the state of Tennessee.
• 10:57
  Speaker 5: Maybe not that.
• 10:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a coach at Tennessee when t Bob
• 11:01
Speaker 2: had the bad snap or like the snap on purpose
• 11:03
Speaker 2: that was overheads that ended up winning l Shu the game.
• 11:06
  Speaker 3: Man.
• 11:06
Speaker 8: I remember he's on the sidelines with his orange pants.
• 11:09
Speaker 2: He did full orange rows. All right, any more, weekend
• 11:15
  Speaker 2: winners are losers.
• 11:16
Speaker 7: We did it earlier during Taylor's top three.
• 11:18
Speaker 4: But I want to give like another week in winner
• 11:20
Speaker 4: to the Bristol Speedway MLB game because that is so awesome.
• 11:23
Speaker 4: And then I don't know if you mentioned it, but
• 11:25
Speaker 4: like whenever they would hit a home run, the car
• 11:27
Speaker 4: would do a lab and the loser part of it
• 11:32
Speaker 4: is like day one was not what's up? But they
• 11:35
Speaker 4: got it together and the next day was great. So
• 11:38
Speaker 4: that is awesome. I think the MLB needs to do
• 11:40
Speaker 4: that at least once a year. They need to bring
• 11:42
Speaker 4: the field a Dreams game back to it's so good
• 11:45
Speaker 4: really quick. We can loser to Jazz Chisholm too, because
• 11:49
Speaker 4: he there's a pop out at second he got doubled
• 11:54
Speaker 4: off because he was going straight for it was just
• 11:56
Speaker 4: like really bad bass running.
• 11:58
Speaker 2: You forgot how me out there was?
• 12:00
Speaker 4: Well he thought that the second baseman was gonna try
• 12:03
Speaker 4: to like purposefully drop the ball, but they asked him
• 12:09
Speaker 4: about it after the game and he was like, I
• 12:11
Speaker 4: wouldn't do anything differently, and then Aaron Boone's like, well,
• 12:14
Speaker 4: I'm not gonna take him out the game. And I
• 12:16
Speaker 4: just feel like Aaron Boone is not the guy, like
• 12:20
Speaker 4: he always comes up short whenever, like they played in
• 12:24
Speaker 4: the World Series, couldn't get it done because.
• 12:26
Speaker 6: Of stuff like that.
• 12:27
Speaker 4: Little stuff like that like Joshism doing that, Garrett Cole
• 12:32
Speaker 4: not covering first, Aaron Judge with that pop out like
• 12:37
Speaker 4: very Arkansas vibes, but like it just it's gotta go
• 12:42
Speaker 4: if you have no fear of your coach and being
• 12:45
Speaker 4: like also saying they ask you about it after the
• 12:48
Speaker 4: game and you're like, I wouldn't do anything different, Like
• 12:50
  Speaker 4: I feel like that's a bad reflection on like who's
• 12:52
  Speaker 4: leading the team.
• 12:53
Speaker 7: So we can lose her to Justism and Aaron.
• 12:56
Speaker 5: Boone one more weekend loser and we're.
• 12:59
  Speaker 6: Being some nigga.
• 13:00
Speaker 5: I hate to do it.
• 13:01
Speaker 2: I'll finish it off with the way.
• 13:03
Speaker 8: The Dallas Cowboys Friday about two o'clock. Yeah, Michael Parsons
• 13:11
Speaker 8: out a tweet on Twitter saying that he would like
• 13:14
Speaker 8: to be traded. He is officially requested a trade from
• 13:16
Speaker 8: the Dallas Mice or Michael one, whichever one you want,
• 13:20
Speaker 8: whichever one plays for this team. According to Jerry Jones,
• 13:23
Speaker 8: Uh that relationship seems to be very fractured. So the
• 13:27
Speaker 8: report that came out on Friday was Micah and Jerry
• 13:30
Speaker 8: Jones had a closed door meeting just them two. A
• 13:33
Speaker 8: contract kind of like a handshake agreement was agreed on. Okay,
• 13:37
Speaker 8: all good. Michael went to his agent and said, hey,
• 13:39
Speaker 8: we just agreed on the deal. Here it is because
• 13:41
Speaker 8: agent was like, no, I can get you more. We're
• 13:43
Speaker 8: not doing that. Ye look at that however way you
• 13:46
Speaker 8: want to. It pissed off Jerry. Jerry's like, okay, well,
• 13:50
Speaker 8: this is the contract we agreed on. This is the
• 13:52
Speaker 8: contract we're giving you. He's as hardheaded as any man
• 13:54
Speaker 8: in sports. So it's like fit on what side you
• 13:57
Speaker 8: look at it. But right now, Michael parsons he's done.
• 14:00
Speaker 8: And a big reason is he said, Jerry Jones will
• 14:02
Speaker 8: not allow my agent to be in meetings any longer. Yeah,
• 14:05
Speaker 8: like that's a big problem. This guy is your franchise player.
• 14:08
  Speaker 8: I know, you think it's Dak Prescott, it's not. It's
• 14:11
Speaker 8: Michah Parsons. You have to re sign this guy. It's
• 14:14
Speaker 8: just it's it's a bad scene right now. And on
• 14:17
Speaker 8: top of that, like this was a slap in the face,
• 14:19
Speaker 8: which is why I mentioned it the other day. Jake
• 14:21
Speaker 8: Ferguson is a fine tight end. You gave that guy
• 14:24
Speaker 8: a fifty two million dollar contract when your best player's
• 14:27
Speaker 8: begging for just a couple of mill moreh and you
• 14:30
Speaker 8: gave Jake fergure Like, we're gonna make Jake Ferguson. Jake
• 14:33
Speaker 8: Ferguson became the richest tight end in franchise history.
• 14:37
Speaker 5: Four year, fifty two million dollar deal.
• 14:39
  Speaker 6: Wait, that's crazy when you're.
• 14:40
Speaker 8: Trying to resign Michaeh Parson. It's like, I like Ferguson,
• 14:43
  Speaker 8: he's fine. I don't know if he's quite worth that,
• 14:46
Speaker 8: but that's a slap in the face.
• 14:48
Speaker 2: The highest pay when you tell your your wife or
• 14:50
Speaker 2: your spouse like, oh you look fine. So you saying.
• 14:54
Speaker 8: Schultz was better a couple of years ago, and they
• 14:56
Speaker 8: let him walk because they didn't want to pay him.
• 14:58
Speaker 8: Like it seems like every move year he's making in
• 15:00
Speaker 8: the off season is just despite Micah Parsons, and he's
• 15:04
Speaker 8: finally fed up with it. Guys like I, I might
• 15:07
Speaker 8: be fed up with I don't know, well.
• 15:10
Speaker 2: I think uh, I think everybody should.
• 15:12
Speaker 6: Well, you have Stockholm syndrome, so.
• 15:17
Speaker 2: Uh yeah, and you kind of did that to yourself.
• 15:19
Speaker 2: All right, last one week in winter? All right? So
• 15:21
Speaker 2: Luca Dona he signs a big extension, gonna be with
• 15:25
Speaker 2: the La Lakers and looks great, looks in shape. Yeah.
• 15:28

  Speaker 4: Bro?
• 18:17
Speaker 3: Were living? Good Man? Just just bought my ticket to
• 18:19
Speaker 3: LSU Clemson. Brush, I'm gonna be in Clemson.
• 18:22
Speaker 2: Oh, you got boots on the ground. May You're gonna
• 18:25
Speaker 2: be in South Carolina. Hold on, I don't know that.
• 18:29
Speaker 2: I don't have you ever done anything like that, like
• 18:31
Speaker 2: gone to an away game like that?
• 18:33
Speaker 3: No, I'm not well. I've been the old mess. That's
• 18:35
Speaker 3: it your away game that I've ever been to. And
• 18:40
Speaker 3: the only Saints away game I've ever been to was
• 18:42
Speaker 3: in twenty seventeen Camara's rookie year when I went to Minnesota.
• 18:46
Speaker 3: Sam Bradford, chopter soun, are.
• 18:49
Speaker 2: You got to You gotta tell me how this happened,
• 18:51
Speaker 2: why it happened, Why you're choosing to go to Clemson,
• 18:55
Speaker 2: South Carolina. Like, what's the plan going to be? Now,
• 18:57
Speaker 2: I got to know everything.
• 18:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's just one of them situations where like,
• 19:03
Speaker 3: we need to win this game so bad that I
• 19:05
Speaker 3: need to be that is that's you know what I'm saying.
• 19:10
  Speaker 3: And I just I don't see us losing, right I
• 19:14
Speaker 3: just feel it right now. I just don't see us losing,
• 19:16
Speaker 3: and I want to be that for that, you know
• 19:18
Speaker 3: what I'm saying. Yep, I think that's really what it's about.
• 19:21
Speaker 3: I don't know much about what side and South Carolina.
• 19:24
Speaker 3: I know they have a couple of mountains, maybe a
• 19:26
Speaker 3: nice lake, but none of that's gonna matter if I shoot,
• 19:29
Speaker 3: don't win, But I'll sump in a nice lake if
• 19:31
  Speaker 3: ILLA shoot win.
• 19:31
Speaker 2: Okay, I do have a couple of us, you know,
• 19:35
Speaker 2: not not red beans and rice. I mean, why in
• 19:37
Speaker 2: the world would you try that in Clemson, South Carolina.
• 19:39
Speaker 2: But I do have a couple of food spots that
• 19:41
Speaker 2: people that went to Clemson told me I have to try,
• 19:44
Speaker 2: and so if I get there in time, we need
• 19:47
Speaker 2: to find a way to break bread at one of
• 19:48
  Speaker 2: these spots.
• 19:49
  Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do it, man, Like I said, I don't
• 19:51
Speaker 3: know a lot about it, but I mean it's got
• 19:53
Speaker 3: to be beautiful, you know.
• 19:55
Speaker 2: You driving or flying, because I know, I know you're
• 19:57
Speaker 2: not the biggest fan of airplanes.
• 20:00
Speaker 3: Dude, I'm driving, man, eight hour drives not that bad.
• 20:05
Speaker 3: And then eventually, hopefully a by the nd, I'm gonna
• 20:07
Speaker 3: go to Chicago and I'm gonna drive to that too.
• 20:09
  Speaker 3: That's a thirteen hour.
• 20:10
Speaker 2: Drive to Chicago. What are you doing in Chicago just
• 20:13
Speaker 2: to go hang out with Bob?
• 20:15
Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, And just like I've been putting that off
• 20:17
Speaker 3: for a while now, probably about two years, you know,
• 20:20
Speaker 3: I know, about two years. I don't know if the
• 20:23
Speaker 3: office still stands, but about two years ago Yak had
• 20:26
Speaker 3: invited me to come up there, so I still got
• 20:28
Speaker 3: to do that. I'm gonna go on the largest podcast,
• 20:32
Speaker 3: you know, and there's a few people that I've become
• 20:34
Speaker 3: friends with just on you know, Twitter and stuff that
• 20:37
Speaker 3: I want to go out there and see.
• 20:40
Speaker 2: I bet, yeah, I bet you and t Bob can
• 20:43
Speaker 2: do some damage up in Chicago. Although like he held
• 20:47
Speaker 2: it down the other day and that that challenge he had,
• 20:49
Speaker 2: I mean, my man took down like ten Glizzies and
• 20:51
  Speaker 2: eleven beers.
• 20:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that that's the type, you know, and
• 20:55
Speaker 3: that's the thing, Like what is that thing that they
• 20:57
Speaker 3: do in the yak like the competition where you got
• 21:00
Speaker 3: to like complete in a certain amount of time and
• 21:02
Speaker 3: stuff like that, Like that's type of stuff I want.
• 21:06
  Speaker 2: Well, I mean, if there's anything t Bob liked, it's
• 21:09
Speaker 2: g Lizzies and beers. So he held it down and
• 21:11
Speaker 2: I got faith that you could do it as well. Uh. Also,
• 21:15
Speaker 2: real quick about the LSU trip, I'm going to assume
• 21:18
Speaker 2: that you know, if you were choosing a road trip
• 21:20
Speaker 2: this year, probably going to sit out a Saints road
• 21:22
Speaker 2: game this year and trus ellis year.
• 21:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just so tough because of the call in show.
• 21:28
Speaker 3: And it's not like I can like relocate with it
• 21:30
Speaker 3: because it's a landline phone number. You can't. You got
• 21:35
Speaker 3: to be out of fun.
• 21:36
Speaker 2: You're the one guy. Hey, who's that through? I got it?
• 21:38
Speaker 2: Who's that through? Who's the phone line through? What company?
• 21:42
Speaker 3: We're not going to say the name, but you know
• 21:43
Speaker 3: what company is through. It's the only thing that I
• 21:45
Speaker 3: got left through down. You know, it's a good deal, man,
• 21:47
Speaker 3: fifty dollars a month. It's very well worth it.
• 21:50
Speaker 2: Okay, or is that bundled with the Internet.
• 21:53
Speaker 3: No, we got rid of the internet. Dude. That's the
• 21:55
Speaker 3: only thing I got from those guys. Okay, okay, okay,
• 22:00
Speaker 3: all right, can't recommend it enough, man, never had a problem.
• 22:03
Speaker 2: That's right. Yeah, that's what I got in my office
• 22:05
Speaker 2: for my afternoon show. So well done there, all right.
• 22:08
Speaker 2: I figured that was going to be the case, and
• 22:10
Speaker 2: like we all have to be there for the call
• 22:12
Speaker 2: in show, so yeah, we don't need you going out
• 22:13
Speaker 2: of town. So we miss that because I got a feeling, unfortunately,
• 22:17
Speaker 2: you're gonna get some great calls due.
• 22:21
Speaker 3: It's about the heat off this Sunday, I mean, charges preseason.
• 22:26
Speaker 3: It's gonna be It is gonna be hot. Man.
• 22:29
Speaker 2: Oh man, I can't wait. I cannot wait to see
• 22:33
Speaker 2: the meltdown of whatever happens. So where are you at
• 22:37
Speaker 2: right now with the Saints in the quarterback situation? We
• 22:41
Speaker 2: talked about it right before you kind of hopped on.
• 22:43
Speaker 2: I know Tyler Shuck had a couple of three four
• 22:45
Speaker 2: day practices in a row where he maybe gained some ground,
• 22:48
Speaker 2: but I'm still in the full belief that it's going
• 22:50
Speaker 2: to be Spencer Rattler. The practice I went to. I
• 22:54
Speaker 2: thought he was by far the most efficient, kind of
• 22:56
Speaker 2: the one with the most juice. Where you at right now,
• 22:58
  Speaker 2: dev You.
• 22:59
Speaker 3: Know, dude, don't have like a lot of sources and
• 23:01
Speaker 3: something like that. But the few sources that I do
• 23:03
Speaker 3: have that watch the Saints every day at training camp,
• 23:06
Speaker 3: you know, one of them said, man, this might be
• 23:08
Speaker 3: the worst team in the NFL this season. And then look,
• 23:11
Speaker 3: and this is all before ball is played, right before
• 23:14
Speaker 3: regular season. But I mean it's kind of like the
• 23:16
Speaker 3: same routine. It's almost like the Truman Show, right, We're
• 23:19
Speaker 3: hearing the same names. Like, man, let me just tell you,
• 23:22
Speaker 3: if there was a Hall of Fame for training camp players,
• 23:28
Speaker 3: Mason tipped In would.
• 23:30
Speaker 2: Be in it every time.
• 23:33
Speaker 3: Every time this they only tell us about this. I mean,
• 23:38
Speaker 3: he is just all over the news all the time.
• 23:40
Speaker 3: It's like do or die for Mason tipped In this year.
• 23:43
Speaker 3: I'd love to see him succeed. I mean, don't ask
• 23:46
Speaker 3: me what I think the chances are, but I'd love
• 23:48
Speaker 3: to see him succeed.
• 23:49
  Speaker 4: You know.
• 23:51
Speaker 3: Other than that, you know, I think it's gonna be ratla, dude,
• 23:54
Speaker 3: I really do. I think before training camp started, everybody
• 23:57
Speaker 3: wanted to crown Shuck because he ate someone, you know,
• 24:01
Speaker 3: and now we're saying that it's probably gonna be Spencer
• 24:04
Speaker 3: Island at least the first few games, you know.
• 24:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I know that you took him fortieth overall
• 24:11
Speaker 2: and he's got some some the whole thing's guaranteed, and
• 24:13
Speaker 2: it's like eleven million dollars, but man, the saint's got
• 24:16
Speaker 2: to play the guy that goes and wins the job.
• 24:18
Speaker 2: Like in the scheme of things, like, I know, eleven millions,
• 24:21
Speaker 2: eleven million, but it's also over you know, multiple years.
• 24:25
Speaker 2: So we're talking four years eleven million, and that's honestly,
• 24:28
Speaker 2: that's what a prime backup quarterback would get. And so
• 24:31
Speaker 2: you can't my deals, Like you can't allow that to
• 24:34
Speaker 2: make the decision for you, right, And just because you
• 24:37
Speaker 2: draft a guy fortieth overall, I mean the time Flynn
• 24:40
Speaker 2: got drafted, he was a seventh round pick. They drafted
• 24:42
Speaker 2: Brian Brohm in the second round. Yeah, and Flynn beat
• 24:46
Speaker 2: him out in training camp. Even as a second round pick.
• 24:49
Speaker 2: He wasn't on the team the next year. I'm not
• 24:51
Speaker 2: saying it's going to be Tyler Shuck's future, but I
• 24:54
Speaker 2: always credit the Packers for allowing the best player to
• 24:56
Speaker 2: win the backup job and not just where you were drafted,
• 24:59
Speaker 2: So like the Saints, and it does feel like talking
• 25:01
Speaker 2: with Killimore last week, that's kind of where they're at,
• 25:04
Speaker 2: Like they don't really care how they got there. They're
• 25:06
Speaker 2: just going to pick the best guy. And I do
• 25:08
Speaker 2: think right now that Spencer gives you the best opportunity
• 25:10
Speaker 2: to start the season.
• 25:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think that'd be a great sign of
• 25:14
Speaker 3: the future to come, because you got to get the
• 25:18
Speaker 3: feelings out of it. You got to take the feelings
• 25:20
Speaker 3: out of it. You know. It's like right now, they
• 25:21
Speaker 3: got the three quarterback race right now, Like is this
• 25:23
Speaker 3: a three quarterback race? You know, why are we even
• 25:27
Speaker 3: saying that? I think it just comes down to Shuck
• 25:31
Speaker 3: or Rattler, And it's looking like Ratler is going to
• 25:34
Speaker 3: be the guy come Game one, just and honestly, just
• 25:36
Speaker 3: because of that year of experience, even though you know,
• 25:40
Speaker 3: he played with nothing and you know he didn't look like,
• 25:43
Speaker 3: you know, life changing last year, but he still has
• 25:46
Speaker 3: that year of experience, and I think that's really what's winning.
• 25:49
Speaker 3: I think Spencer was locked in the whole offseason too.
• 25:52
Speaker 3: That's another thing. I think he's probably going to bed
• 25:55
Speaker 3: at nine o'clock every night, you know, really locked in.
• 25:58
Speaker 3: So like what he had to do to become the
• 26:00
  Speaker 3: next Saints.
• 26:01
Speaker 2: Quarterback, any other kind of position battles or storylines that
• 26:06
Speaker 2: you're following with the Saints. Because the thing that I
• 26:10
Speaker 2: talked about last week coming back from practice was the
• 26:13
Speaker 2: look the first twenty two you got some dudes in there, Like,
• 26:16
Speaker 2: you got some guys that you can be excited about watching.
• 26:18
Speaker 2: But the problem is, Devin, if somebody gets hurt, we
• 26:22
Speaker 2: always talk about it. Here comes Uber Driver number one,
• 26:25
Speaker 2: number two, number three. Like the depth on this team
• 26:28
Speaker 2: is a real issue. But I mean there's still some
• 26:30
Speaker 2: players out there with the initial starting unit they can
• 26:33
  Speaker 2: get behind.
• 26:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, like the most exciting dude right now,
• 26:38
Speaker 3: it's got to be Stutsman. Man. I keep talking about
• 26:41
Speaker 3: this guy and so does everybody else, Like, gotta be Stuftsman.
• 26:44
Speaker 3: He just looks like he's ready, like this season, ready
• 26:47
Speaker 3: to make a difference. And even the kid that they
• 26:50
Speaker 3: drafted out of Louisville, the Quincy Riley kid, that's another
• 26:53
Speaker 3: guy that look. Because when you look at the Saints corners, like, yeah,
• 26:56
Speaker 3: Kool AIGs had a great camp, right obviously Alante Taylor,
• 27:02
Speaker 3: but when it gets to that third corner, it's like, oh, man,
• 27:05
Speaker 3: what's gonna happen here? Like, really gonna start? What's his name?
• 27:09
Speaker 3: How you say it again?
• 27:10
  Speaker 4: Uh?
• 27:11
Speaker 3: Got him? Got him, guide him.
• 27:13
Speaker 2: That's everything you need to know.
• 27:15
Speaker 3: Right right, So you you you want Quincy Riley to
• 27:18
Speaker 3: be to be without it man. So and he looks
• 27:21
Speaker 3: like he is. Man, it looks like he's one of
• 27:23
Speaker 3: those guys who can get turnovers, which you love to
• 27:26
Speaker 3: see it, you know, as receiver goes. Man, it's just
• 27:31
Speaker 3: so tough, dude, because like, all right, Cedric Wilson, that's
• 27:37
Speaker 3: another guy they love talking about in training camp. Cedric Wilson,
• 27:39
Speaker 3: great guy, great teammate, blah blah blah blah blah. Can't
• 27:42
Speaker 3: find him with a search. Warran during the regular season,
• 27:44
Speaker 3: you know, just doesn't really catch balls and make plays.
• 27:48
Speaker 3: So yeah, like if Olave or Shahi gets hurt and
• 27:51
Speaker 3: you left with I mean this sounds horrible, man. You
• 27:54
Speaker 3: left with Cooks, Cedric Wilson and Tipton and up means
• 27:59
Speaker 3: you know that I just don't see how you're gonna
• 28:02
Speaker 3: win games with that, especially with young quarterbacks.
• 28:06
Speaker 2: All Right, dev let's stop talking about some depressing stuff
• 28:09
Speaker 2: and actually, you know, figure out where you're going to
• 28:11
Speaker 2: head today. Do we have any plans? We have a
• 28:14
Speaker 2: general area of where we're going to go?
• 28:18
Speaker 3: Man, No, I don't. I gotta be honest with you, dude.
• 28:22
Speaker 3: You know, I just don't. But I know as soon
• 28:24
Speaker 3: as I get off the phone, I'm gonna figure it
• 28:26
Speaker 3: out and I'm gonna make it worth everybody's while. Man,
• 28:28
Speaker 3: We're gonna find a good spot today for sure?
• 28:31
Speaker 2: Is it? I mean, is it? We're gonna start driving
• 28:35
Speaker 2: in a direction until we like maybe find an idea.
• 28:38
Speaker 2: Are we going to get a plan? Like before we
• 28:40
Speaker 2: get in the car, like, what's the process today?
• 28:42
Speaker 3: That's how I went to the Zoo one day, which is,
• 28:44
Speaker 3: in my opinion, one of my favorite episodes.
• 28:48
Speaker 2: The Aquarium might be my favorite, by the way.
• 28:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was about to go to the West
• 28:52
Speaker 3: Bank and then I was looking on the internet, like
• 28:56
Speaker 3: you know, as I'm driving, I'm kind of like looking
• 28:58
  Speaker 3: what's around and I'm because I didn't really want to
• 29:00
Speaker 3: go to West Bank. I really did in that day.
• 29:02
Speaker 3: But before I get on the bridge, I'm like, oh wait,
• 29:05
Speaker 3: the zoo, dude, Like I know, that the zoo has
• 29:08
Speaker 3: to have something over that. You know that I can
• 29:10
Speaker 3: that I can do, and man with an episode that
• 29:14
Speaker 3: was it was truly so much fun. Man, the Roman
• 29:16
Speaker 3: candy Man was closed down that day. I remember being
• 29:19
Speaker 3: pissed about that. Yeah, but yeah, well we'll definitely figure
• 29:24
Speaker 3: it out. All right.
• 29:25
Speaker 2: There, he is our guy, Devin Snow aka Hold the Mayo,
• 29:28
Speaker 2: and we are going to make sure that we find
• 29:30
Speaker 2: a way to get some grub in Clemson, South Carolina.
• 29:33
Speaker 2: Looking forward to that. Dev will catch up again with
• 29:36
  Speaker 2: you next Monday.
• 29:36
Speaker 3: My man, all right, I'll take you care. I appreciate it, all.
• 29:39
Speaker 2: Right there, he is our guy, Hold the Mayo. I
• 29:42
Speaker 2: love that. And that's not a bit like he has
• 29:44
Speaker 2: no idea where he's going to go for Mondays. He
• 29:47
Speaker 2: just like kind of gets in this car sometimes and
• 29:49
Speaker 2: it takes him to the zoo. The aquarium I think
• 29:51
Speaker 2: was the best one that I've seen like it. It
• 29:53
Speaker 2: had me rolling. And so tune in to Devin snow
• 29:57
Speaker 2: At Snow like John on Twitter and social media to
• 30:00
Speaker 2: see where Dev ends up. All right, we will step away.
• 30:04
Speaker 2: More OTB though coming your way when we come back
• 30:06
Speaker 2: on one oh four to five ESPN venders off the bench,
• 30:12
Speaker 2: all right, do sekis go for dose?
• 30:14
Speaker 9: Perfect time tailgating season is upon us, like we are
• 30:18
Speaker 9: here in the month of August, and so when you're
• 30:22
Speaker 9: out there, when you're setting up the perfect tailgate, always
• 30:25
Speaker 9: go for dose because we tell you every single day
• 30:27
Speaker 9: and it is factual, there's never a bad time to
• 30:31
  Speaker 9: go for dose.
• 30:32
Speaker 2: So it's always been in the summertime. The lake beer,
• 30:35
Speaker 2: the river beer, the beach beer, ballpark beer, which we
• 30:39
Speaker 2: don't talk about it now, that's always elites travel season,
• 30:43
Speaker 2: right if you're going to these games, it's an airport beer.
• 30:46
Speaker 2: Like we better get a picture of our guy Matthew
• 30:49
Speaker 2: Clayton Flynn going for dose in an airport today or
• 30:52
Speaker 2: it'll be a disappointing trip. And so right now, go ahead,
• 30:57
Speaker 2: set that tailgate up. Go get all the ice cold
• 30:59
Speaker 2: dose seies, have them ready to go for your tailgate
• 31:03
Speaker 2: because as we said, there was never a bad time
• 31:06
Speaker 2: to go for dose. Drink responsibly and go for dose.
• 31:17
Speaker 1: From players to legends, Hester and Flynn breakdown LSU football
• 31:21
  Speaker 1: like only champions.
• 31:22
Speaker 2: Can to find out, well we belong from the.
• 31:33
  Speaker 3: Dings.
• 31:35
Speaker 2: We are dancing in the shedow all right, welcome back,
• 31:42
Speaker 2: ga O, TV, one oh four five, ESPN, baton rouge.

Speaker 2: Yellous you fans. If you're hitting the road this fall,
• 31:49

• 32:00
Speaker 2: LSU fans love and hold dear. They've got everything covered.
• 32:04
Speaker 2: All you do is show up and yell, go Tigers.
• 32:07
Speaker 2: So if you want to follow the Tigers wherever they
• 32:09
Speaker 2: are going, including that trip to Clemson, South Carolina that opener,
• 32:14
Speaker 2: they got some other great away trips as well. But
• 32:17
Speaker 2: go check out the homepage a sin Dashtravel dot Com
• 32:22
Speaker 2: a sin Dashtravel dot Com, and you've got all the
• 32:25
Speaker 2: information there. I mean, we've been talking about private travel
• 32:29
Speaker 2: to that game there in Clemson, South Carolina to see
• 32:32
Speaker 2: the LSU Tigers try to go up there for a
• 32:34
Speaker 2: top five matchup, and every premium package that you can imagine.
• 32:39
Speaker 2: I mean, it is game day the right way with
• 32:42
Speaker 2: the sin Dashtravel dot Com. Travel like a Tiger, and
• 32:45
Speaker 2: a sin makes it easy, all right. So Flynn, we think,
• 32:52
Speaker 2: unless he pulls a bobber, is going to be back tomorrow.
• 32:55
Speaker 2: Haven't heard how the meeting went yet, so we got
• 32:59
Speaker 2: the fingers crawl. Hopefully he wasn't in a card break
• 33:01
Speaker 2: and miss the key points he flew last night. I
• 33:04
Speaker 2: saw him on Saturday. We went to practice together, as
• 33:07
Speaker 2: I talked about and I was like, hey, like, what's
• 33:09
Speaker 2: your schedule, Like when you're leaving? He goes, I don't know.
• 33:12
Speaker 2: I was like, well, when you got to be there?
• 33:13
Speaker 2: He's like, you know, Monday morning. I was like, when
• 33:15
Speaker 2: are you leaving? He goes, I don't know, have B
• 33:17
  Speaker 2: tickete yet?
• 33:18
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 33:19
Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, I mean you got He's going to Virginia.
• 33:23
Speaker 5: So he got there.
• 33:24
Speaker 2: He got there because he did his He threw a
• 33:27
Speaker 2: yo out there in the beginning. It's probably ear hustling
• 33:30
Speaker 2: to make sure we didn't talk too bad about him.
• 33:32
Speaker 2: We just said the tripod leg fell off, the new
• 33:35
Speaker 2: shiny toy. We had to go get the old, reliable one. Yeah, faithful,
• 33:40
  Speaker 2: It's okay.
• 33:41
Speaker 6: No, I'm excited for him.
• 33:44
Speaker 2: I am too. That's a big one for my high school.
• 33:47
Speaker 2: See if he's able to get it done there. Tte,
• 33:50
Speaker 2: you'll know this preseason football this week, like everybody's everybody's.
• 33:56
Speaker 5: So last Thursday, like they got they got a Thursday
• 33:58
  Speaker 5: with two.
• 33:59
Speaker 8: Last Thursday, they made a final Thursday with like with
• 34:03
  Speaker 8: football till February.
• 34:05
Speaker 2: Till February, all right, and get behind that. Who the
• 34:08
  Speaker 2: Cowboys play?
• 34:10
  Speaker 8: Man, I don't even know the I don't know the
• 34:11
Speaker 8: color schedule. If I told you, i'd be, I'd be
• 34:14
Speaker 8: I'd be lying or just making something up. I'm kind
• 34:16
Speaker 8: of kind of out on them right now. Jake, you
• 34:19
Speaker 8: have to do a little You may have to do
• 34:20
Speaker 8: a little Bachelor and give my final rose to somebody else.
• 34:23
Speaker 2: Man, I don't know you did. I mean, you made
• 34:25
Speaker 2: him a loser. And they have been one for a
• 34:27
Speaker 2: long time. So I do know. The Saints and the
• 34:29
Speaker 2: Chargers play each other. So they leave Wednesday, gonna be
• 34:33
Speaker 2: watching that they do. They leave Wednesday, and they gotta
• 34:37
Speaker 2: have some clarity on this quarterback situation before they go
• 34:41
Speaker 2: out West. They have to they it's got to be like,
• 34:45
Speaker 2: all right, here's our two guys. It's A and B right,
• 34:50
Speaker 2: like if they still have three quarterbacks in this game.
• 34:53
Speaker 2: I know it's the first preseason game, but I told
• 34:57
Speaker 2: you all this. So I was doing that show last
• 34:58
Speaker 2: week with Bruce Murray, who's worked for NFL radio since
• 35:01
Speaker 2: two thousand and six or twenty years. Basically, I was like,
• 35:05
Speaker 2: if you ever had three quarterbacks, come and sit down
• 35:08
Speaker 2: on a training camp tour. He said no, he said
• 35:11
Speaker 2: I've had two a couple of times. He said, I've
• 35:13
Speaker 2: never had three. It's just not normal, not in the NFL.
• 35:16
Speaker 2: It's not And I know some other teams this year
• 35:19
Speaker 2: are going through that, like Cleveland, But do you really
• 35:22
Speaker 2: want to have your quarterback competition be compared to the
• 35:25
Speaker 2: team that has the famous jersey of all the last
• 35:28
Speaker 2: names listed from top to bottom, which.
• 35:29
Speaker 8: Are they're officially out of room one by the way, No,
• 35:32
Speaker 8: I mean to your point, like the Giants, Jamis is
• 35:34
Speaker 8: a former number one overall pick.
• 35:37
Speaker 5: He was a starter multiple years in this league.
• 35:39
Speaker 8: Did you have Wilson then you invest a first round
• 35:42
Speaker 8: pick into Jackson Dart that should have been a more
• 35:44
Speaker 8: hotly contested quarterback battle to what you have in New Orleans.
• 35:47
Speaker 8: They've already named their starter now, right or wrong, it's
• 35:50
Speaker 8: Russell Wilson going to be the start in Week ten,
• 35:52
Speaker 8: doesn't matter. You at least have your guy right now.
• 35:54
Speaker 8: And I understand that it is a preseason game. Tell
• 35:58
Speaker 8: you that we're going to see where these the Saints
• 36:00
Speaker 8: are right now, because that Chargers defense looked really, really
• 36:05
Speaker 8: good on Thursday night. Now I understand they're playing the
• 36:08
Speaker 8: Lions backups. I get all that, but Shuck and Rattler,
• 36:11
Speaker 8: they're gonna be under that's a good team. Yeah, this
• 36:14
Speaker 8: is a great first game in my opinion for this.
• 36:16
Speaker 2: I mean, if I'm not mistaken, they led the NFL
• 36:18
Speaker 2: in points per game a year ago, and they got
• 36:21
Speaker 2: even better in the off season with some of the
• 36:22
Speaker 2: moves they made. So and Jim Harball is going to
• 36:25
Speaker 2: play some of his guys. He didn't play all of them,
• 36:27
Speaker 2: but like Hampton played the other night, and that was
• 36:30
Speaker 2: a Hall of Fame game. So you're gonna see some
• 36:31
Speaker 2: of those guys that are going to be starters on
• 36:33
Speaker 2: that defense at least for a series or two. So
• 36:36
Speaker 2: it's actually a really good test for the Saints quarterbacks.
• 36:39
Speaker 2: So looking forward to kind of breaking down that and
• 36:43
Speaker 2: here's to hoping, here's to hoping that we have some
• 36:45
Speaker 2: clarity on the situation. Elandra, will you watch a second
• 36:49
  Speaker 2: of preseason football.
• 36:51
Speaker 4: Probably not to be completely honest with you, but my
• 36:56
Speaker 4: completely fair I So, I mean, how many people really
• 37:00
Speaker 4: I get that there's sickos out there, but like, yeah,
• 37:03
Speaker 4: I can't imagine that the viewership is too.
• 37:06
Speaker 2: Hard to even know. It's hard to even know now.
• 37:08
Speaker 2: Like used to, there was like a formula of the
• 37:11
Speaker 2: first game, starters played one series. In the second game,
• 37:14
Speaker 2: they played three or four series. In the third game
• 37:17
Speaker 2: we played a full half. Yea, we would go all
• 37:19
Speaker 2: the way to halftime, and the fourth game we would
• 37:22
Speaker 2: dress up and that was about it.
• 37:23
Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe the guys that were fringe roster not But now.
• 37:29
Speaker 2: Like I don't even really know how everyone handles it,
• 37:31
Speaker 2: because everybody does it kind of differently. And it kind
• 37:33
Speaker 2: of started at the end of my career, Like we
• 37:35
Speaker 2: played against the Vikings one year in the preseason and
• 37:38
Speaker 2: they decided to flip games, like they went second game
• 37:41
Speaker 2: started till halftime and we did not. Yeah, but it
• 37:47
Speaker 2: was one of those years. And I told you all
• 37:48
Speaker 2: the time, like we're full back, Like I was kind
• 37:50
Speaker 2: of the only guy on the roster, so I was
• 37:51
Speaker 2: gonna have to go in there. And we had the
• 37:54
Speaker 2: bomb squad going against like Jerry Allen, who just got
• 37:57
Speaker 2: inducted into the Hall of Fame had Greenway linebacker. It
• 38:02
Speaker 2: was like Charlie Whitehurst would get to snap and have
• 38:04
Speaker 2: about one thousand and one before we had like six
• 38:07
Speaker 2: guys in the backfield. It was horrible, like there was
• 38:11
Speaker 2: nothing that we were going to gain from that tape.
• 38:14
Speaker 2: And I feel like that's kind of how it is now,
• 38:15
Speaker 2: like we really don't have a formula of how everybody
• 38:18
Speaker 2: kind of follows the preseason and give us an idea there.
• 38:20
Speaker 4: So my thing about the quarterback competition though, in terms
• 38:24
Speaker 4: of the Saints is that no separation between Spencer Rattler
• 38:29
Speaker 4: and Tyler Shuck is kind of like I think that's okay,
• 38:34
Speaker 4: And I mean, obviously you want one to be standing
• 38:38
Speaker 4: out over the other, but like, if it's going to
• 38:40
Speaker 4: be a true competition, I'm kind of okay with like
• 38:43
  Speaker 4: Shuck being.
• 38:45
Speaker 6: Like neck and neck with.
• 38:46
Speaker 4: Spencer, but I kind of feel like it's Spencer's job
• 38:49
Speaker 4: to lose at this point. But what I don't and
• 38:52
Speaker 4: like Flynn kind of explained it in a good way
• 38:54
Speaker 4: last week, and I understand what he's saying, but I
• 38:59
Speaker 4: don't love that Hay is out there also taking reps
• 39:01
Speaker 4: because if it's like a true three way battle and
• 39:05
Speaker 4: Hater is in them, is in the conversation, Like, I
• 39:08
Speaker 4: just don't know how I feel about that, but I
• 39:10
Speaker 4: do think that you have to have at least you're
• 39:13
Speaker 4: one and two figured out heading to Los Angeles.
• 39:16
Speaker 6: Are they playing in Los Angeles or is it.
• 39:18
  Speaker 5: Okay, it's Vanilla.
• 39:19
Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't know if they do camp somewhere
• 39:22
Speaker 4: else and they were gonna go there or not.
• 39:24
Speaker 2: But no, that they do it. They built a brand
• 39:27
Speaker 2: new stay of the art facility. Yes, the Bush League
• 39:29
Speaker 2: Bolts built a brand new stay of the art facility.
• 39:31
Speaker 2: So they stay right there and it's gonna be a
• 39:34
Speaker 2: good test. It will be a good test for the Saints.
• 39:36
Speaker 2: And normally I'm with you all in the preseason. This
• 39:38
Speaker 2: one's more intriguing because of the quarterback battle. Yeah, because
• 39:41
Speaker 2: of all the unknowns on this Saint.
• 39:44
Speaker 7: Steam always the Chargers that they play in the preseason.
• 39:47
Speaker 8: It last over the last years, Well they've done. They've
• 39:51
Speaker 8: done the joint president.
• 39:53
Speaker 2: I mean me and the boys went to a Saints
• 39:58
Speaker 2: Charges preseason game like three years ago. Yes, so it's
• 40:00
Speaker 2: been at least three years in a row they've played
• 40:03
Speaker 2: the Chargers. So all right, we'll take a break, our
• 40:05
Speaker 2: last break of the show, and wrap it up like
• 40:08
Speaker 2: we do every single day, getting to your questions. So
• 40:12
Speaker 2: we'll get to ask the bench to close it out
• 40:14
Speaker 2: today here on OTB dofter bench. All right, go to
• 40:19
Speaker 2: trash rangers dot com. Trash rangers dot com is the website.
• 40:23
Speaker 2: And remember they have so many options for you when
• 40:26
Speaker 2: it comes to those roll off dumpsters. So, Hey, I've
• 40:30
Speaker 2: got a project going on at my home at my business,
• 40:33
Speaker 2: and I'm not sure what sized dumpster I need. Just
• 40:36
Speaker 2: call them, talk with them, have that conversation with him,
• 40:39
Speaker 2: because they're gonna make sure you have the right one
• 40:42
Speaker 2: on your project. Tell the story all the time. T
• 40:45
Speaker 2: Bob needed one when he was moving to Chicago. He
• 40:48
Speaker 2: needed to clean out a bunch of stuff at his house.
• 40:50
Speaker 2: He was on the phone with trash Rangers here in
• 40:52
Speaker 2: studio downtown Baton Rouge, telling them kind of, you know,
• 40:55
Speaker 2: the amount of stuff he was looking forward, you know,
• 40:57
Speaker 2: to getting rid of. And we had a event we
• 41:01
Speaker 2: were doing at Tiger Stadium. By the time he got
• 41:04
Speaker 2: to Tiger Stadium, so downtown to LSU campus, they had
• 41:06
Speaker 2: already not only called and set everything up, they were
• 41:09
Speaker 2: on their way with the dumpster that he needed. That's
• 41:12
Speaker 2: what kind of service you get with trash Rangers. So
• 41:14
Speaker 2: go to the website today that is trash rangers dot Com.
• 41:22
Speaker 1: From players to legends, Hester and Flynn breakdown LSU football
• 41:26
Speaker 1: like only champions can.
• 42:04
  Speaker 5: I don't know the dogs.
• 42:05
Speaker 2: Bond z All right, welcome back again, O. TB. One
• 42:20
Speaker 2: final segment here a little ask the bench. Let me
• 42:28
Speaker 2: see here, Uh, let's see, ask the bench. What does O.
• 42:38
Speaker 2: TB hate the Rugaroo? Is it because T Bob board
• 42:40
Speaker 2: the mascot? Haead? I don't hate the rugaroo. I love Jumbo.
• 42:45
Speaker 2: It's not really jumbo anymore. Guy looks great. Ronnie ran
• 42:47
Speaker 2: shout out to our guy. I know they had some
• 42:50
Speaker 2: like some big games over the weekend. I think they
• 42:54
Speaker 2: one said big games. Always gonna root for for our guy.
• 42:58
Speaker 2: But you know, also there's a lot of things going
• 43:00
Speaker 2: on right now, a lot of pigskin talk going on
• 43:03
Speaker 2: right now, and so shout out to the rubrou shout out.
• 43:09
Speaker 2: Let's see all right, ask the bench, heester, if you
• 43:13
Speaker 2: took a handoff and had to run straight with no
• 43:16
Speaker 2: own line, how many fourth graders do you think it
• 43:18
Speaker 2: would take to tackle you today? Arian Foster said five
• 43:22
Speaker 2: to seven to get him down. We're talking full pads,
• 43:27
Speaker 2: no offensive line. Fourth graders. I've got a third grader
• 43:30
Speaker 2: in a sixth grader. I'm trying to think like fourth grade.
• 43:33
  Speaker 2: That's like ten, man, I don't know, Like I am
• 43:35
Speaker 2: trucking some fools before they get to me, like, and
• 43:39
Speaker 2: that stiff arm is going to be nasty. Yeah. Like
• 43:42
Speaker 2: what I'm going to do is I'm gonna get the
• 43:44
Speaker 2: ball and I'm going to press the line and immediately
• 43:47
Speaker 2: bounce it out and I'm gonna outrun every single one
• 43:50
Speaker 2: of them. And after I start to outrun them, even
• 43:53
Speaker 2: when I get tired and the ones start to catch me,
• 43:56
Speaker 2: I've got leverage cuz they're on the inside coming to me, right,
• 44:00
Speaker 2: And so I'm just gonna stiff arm everything.
• 44:02
Speaker 5: About to say that that that stiff arms working overtime
• 44:05
  Speaker 5: for you.
• 44:05
  Speaker 2: I don't know. I say, I say ten ten, ten
• 44:09
Speaker 2: fourth graders. Eventually they're just gonna.
• 44:11
Speaker 8: Like, oh, it's not got one, yeah, shout out the
• 44:13
Speaker 8: area and being a little modest though with.
• 44:16
Speaker 2: Something like ten ten.
• 44:25
Speaker 8: Soft tissue tar going on in the in the questions here, Yeah,
• 44:28
Speaker 8: most common soft tissue inergy and injury for radio people.
• 44:35
Speaker 5: Something yeah, something like that.
• 44:38
Speaker 6: Yeah, Bonner tissue though.
• 44:42
  Speaker 8: That's the thing I don't know. I don't know, I
• 44:44
Speaker 8: don't know. Something in the wrist, in hands you go
• 44:46
  Speaker 8: with that.
• 44:47
Speaker 2: We all know Jake is too gritty to be pretty,
• 44:49
Speaker 2: But is he too gritty to gritty?
• 44:53
Speaker 6: Have you hit the gritty?
• 44:53
Speaker 2: But I do that for sure, no doubt.
• 44:56
Speaker 6: I mean that video of you and Katie dancing like
• 44:59
Speaker 6: obviously you can hit the Yeah.
• 45:00
Speaker 8: Also Jacob Boys and the oldest is like sixteen, he
• 45:05
Speaker 8: sees the gritty quite a bit. I would imagine I
• 45:07
Speaker 8: saw the gritty for a lot.
