- 0:00Believe the Mets are going to give him a significant You're
- 0:02going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:04Why not putting in one of the top three offensive players in
- 0:07the league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:17Aaron Judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:20Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 0:23You don't see LeBron doing that a game.
- 0:25Where you got to go before? I told you, giant feet, Saquon
- 0:29Barkley, and this Let's do it.

- 2:05www.worldwidesportsradio.com. You can call us, like I always
- 2:11say, 63 one, 672-3108. If you're a Knick fan, you can't
- 2:18be happy today. You shouldn't be happy for the
- 2:21debacle we watched last night. It was absolutely demoralizing.
- 2:26I, I, I was so upset after last night.
- 2:29I was yelling at Speedy probably after the game, probably an hour
- 2:33and a half throughout the night before we, we moved on.
- 2:37I took him, I took him home, but we were setting up the studio.
- 2:41Obviously, Tommy is now our new producer, so it was a lot of
- 2:45shifting, a lot of moving around, a lot of work, 3 and at
- 2:483 1/2 hours, I think it was a long, long time.
- 2:51But we're very happy to be here, as we always are.
- 2:54Jabba, how are you, my friends? Good man.
- 2:56Just had Carter's first bullpen being back from his PRP and so
- 3:06don't be surprised he Facetimes me when he he was on the
- 3:09shitter, he said. So he said give me 5 and so, but
- 3:13no nice to be out watching the boys play baseball.
- 3:16And you know, the weather's great here.
- 3:18I've been watching a lot of college baseball right now.
- 3:20It's just such a fun time for college baseball and, you know,
- 3:23being able to, you know, watch all these tournaments.
- 3:26I don't like some of the way that the tournaments are set up.
- 3:29And then, you know, I'm watching baseball and I'm watching the
- 3:32Knicks just pee down, right down their leg and pee.
- 3:34Down. I've never heard that before.
- 3:36Is this like a? Right down is.
- 3:38This a Nebraska thing? You pee down on your.
- 3:40Leg just pee pee right down on your leg.
- 3:42It's just laying there that's. Definitely a Nebraska thing.
- 3:44That's not a Long Island thing. But you know, it's interesting
- 3:47because you sit here and if you're a Knick fan, you watch a
- 3:51game that was up and down. The Knicks had a 14 point lead
- 3:55with 4 1/2 minutes left and you would have thought that the
- 3:58Knicks were going to pull away and and win the game.
- 4:00But we, as we always say, the New York Knicks are very shifty
- 4:05and they make you sick to your stomach.
- 4:06So we will get into that in just a few moments.
- 4:09But you know what's so funny? It, it's been raining all day.
- 4:13It's been pouring all day. It looks like a monsoon outside
- 4:16here in Long Island. And everybody was talking about,
- 4:18well, when are we going to get rain again?
- 4:20When are we going to get rain again?
- 4:21We haven't a rainstorm in about 3 weeks.
- 4:24A really bad one. At least we get a little drizzle
- 4:26here and a little drizzle there. It's bad over here with pollen.
- 4:30I mean, if you're allergic to pollen, you're allergic to
- 4:33grass. Allergies are killing everybody
- 4:35here too. It's bad.
- 4:36It's, it's seriously, if you look at the pollen right now, if
- 4:39you look at your cars. Oh, like on your cars?
- 4:41Oh my. God, it's like 3 layers of it.
- 4:44This year you can't even breathe.
- 4:46My sister's coughing every time I speak to her on the phone, she
- 4:50barely can finish a sentence before she coughs.
- 4:53It's really, really bad. And if you're a Long Islander,
- 4:56you, you're putting on your air conditioning or air conditioning
- 5:00right now when it's not even hot because you're trying to breathe
- 5:04in your house. It it, it's like a vacuum
- 5:06cleaner of all the, the crazy stuff in the air.
- 5:10So I just, I hate this time a year, springtime, I'm born in
- 5:15the spring because it's I'm born in April, but I can't stand this
- 5:18time because of the pollen. And I can't stand after the
- 5:22summer when the leaves are falling because then you have to
- 5:24clean all that crap that you have to deal with before the
- 5:27winter time. So my favorite time is the
- 5:29winter because everything's down and all you have to contend with
- 5:32maybe here in Long Island at some point is snow, but we
- 5:36haven't seen a lot of that for a long time too, so.
- 5:39Do you guys, do you guys get a lot of snow?
- 5:41We used to not anymore. This year we got a couple of
- 5:45snowstorms, but nothing bad, nothing big.
- 5:47So I unfortunately with the everything that's going on with,
- 5:52you know, the change of weather and global warming, it's been
- 5:55really, really bad here in New York.
- 5:57And hopefully that will change. But I'm not a weatherman and I'm
- 6:01not going to assume that I can change the weather with a snap
- 6:05of my finger. But if I have the power, ladies
- 6:07and gentlemen, and I was God, I would absolutely do it.
- 6:10As a matter of fact, I probably keep the winter all year round.
- 6:14So my my mom always tells me if you want the winter all year
- 6:18round, go to Alaska because but Alaska is not even cold all year
- 6:22round. It's six months in a year, I
- 6:24think it's dark and the other six months it's light out and
- 6:28it's the summer is really a summer over there.
- 6:30You, you're getting 80°, but sometimes 78° weather.
- 6:34So unfortunately I don't get that privilege.
- 6:37Antarctica would be the place I would have to go.
- 6:39We don't either because we get bipolar.
- 6:41It was 90°. And now this, this whole week,
- 6:43we're gonna get rain all weekend and then it's gonna be 60 to
- 6:4770°. Like, so it's like you can't put
- 6:49away like your sweatshirts cuz at night.
- 6:51And then it's like you don't figure out like what it's like.
- 6:54Can I put stuff away? Can I not put stuff away?
- 6:56Yeah. Like it's bipolar.
- 6:58Yeah. Hey, you'll understand that when
- 7:00when we get in, Obviously I was talking about college, college
- 7:03baseball. Yes, when we do ACWS 1 and we'll
- 7:07get you guys down here, you'll you'll see how bipolar this this
- 7:10weather is is here. If yours is bipolar, we're we're
- 7:15on another level because I don't understand this weather either.
- 7:17It, it doesn't make any sense. And then when the summer comes
- 7:20around, it's like 100°, you're sweating your ass off.
- 7:24And I wish I was dead because I can't.
- 7:25Go. Is it?
- 7:26Is it humid there as it is here? Oh my God, it's worse.
- 7:29We live right on the water, so. Oh, that's true.
- 7:31The worst place to go in the summertime is Florida.
- 7:35And that's why I would never live there if I had to.
- 7:37If if we had to go down there and do the radio show down
- 7:40there, I would be pushed to go and do that.
- 7:42But I would advise anybody that wants me to move down there, you
- 7:45better pay me a lot of money because I am not moving down to
- 7:49Florida unless you do that, buddy.
- 7:50I'll do it. Goody.
- 7:52Goody lives there. Goody wraps himself up with a
- 7:55blanket at 85° weather and he says it's, it's cold.
- 8:00I I don't. Get it?
- 8:01They literally complain about it all the time.
- 8:03Like my assistant's down there who was with me throughout my
- 8:07career, and he's like, man, it's like 70.
- 8:09We got like long pants and jackets and I'm like, what is
- 8:11wrong with you? I don't get it.
- 8:13I don't get it. I would definitely not live over
- 8:17there unless you paid me a lot of money.
- 8:19Like I said, good luck on that. I could never do it and
- 8:23everybody loves Miami. Go to Miami, go to Sarasota, go
- 8:26to one of these nice cities over there in Florida.
- 8:29I don't care where it is, I'm not going in the water and I
- 8:32hate the goddamn beach so. And I live on a beach.
- 8:35I mean Long Island is a big huge beach.
- 8:38There's like 8 beaches here in Long Island and I don't get it.
- 8:41I don't go to any of them. So why would I want to move down
- 8:43to Florida and deal with the beach and the beach life over
- 8:46there? I used to surf, but I don't go
- 8:47in the water anymore because of sharks.
- 8:49That's a whole nother level. 9:00 We will be talking to
- 8:52Memphis Grizzlies play by play broadcasters.
- 8:54Been on a show before and we're very happy to have him on.
- 8:57I'm sure he has his own take on the Memphis Grizzlies this year.
- 9:00Eric Haseltine, he has been awesome on our show.
- 9:03So if you haven't heard him and you want to hear him, well, you
- 9:07better listen to him on at 9:00. He is sensational, great
- 9:11personality, knows his basketball and I'm sure he has
- 9:14his own take of the Knicks absolute debacle last night,
- 9:16which was absolutely crazy. Speaking of the Knicks in game
- 9:20one of the. Easter.
- 9:22Conference Finals The Knicks lost to the Pacers in overtime
- 9:26after having a 14 point lead with two minutes and 51 seconds
- 9:30remaining in the game. There was a controversial call
- 9:34with the Knicks up by 5:00 with under 30 seconds to go,
- 9:39overturning A foul originally called against OG and Anobi
- 9:43which led to the Pacers 3 pointer.
- 9:46OG then missed a free throw leading to Tyrese Halliburton
- 9:50hitting a game tying buzzer beater which almost looked like
- 9:53a game-winning shot as we all watched on you know, and
- 9:57probably had our hearts watching him choke himself.
- 10:00There was also a goaltending call in overtime that was
- 10:04missed, which would have put the Knicks up by 6 instead, leading
- 10:09to the Pacers starting A7 nothing run with a three
- 10:13pointer. Guard Aaron Nesmith hit 83
- 10:18pointers in the game, a Pacers franchise record.
- 10:21That was the first time out of 978 NBA playoff games ever,
- 10:27A-Team held a 14 point lead with under 3 minutes to go and lost
- 10:32the game. Well, ladies and gentlemen, if
- 10:34it's the Knicks breaking records that want to make you sick,
- 10:38well, there you go, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:40It absolutely made me sick. Reggie Miller calling the game,
- 10:44sitting there laughing. Tyrese Halliburton after hitting
- 10:47that shot at the end of regulation, trying to choke
- 10:50himself and making himself look like Reggie Miller when he
- 10:53played the Knicks in, I think it was in 1993.
- 10:56Nothing made any Knicks fan happy watching that debacle of a
- 11:01game and and. And shouldn't, shouldn't you get
- 11:03home field advantage like homecourt advantage with the
- 11:05with the bounce and then they give it to Halliburton like what
- 11:08are we doing? I'm going to get into the
- 11:09homecourt advantage because homecourt advantage doesn't work
- 11:14in the New York Knicks minds, except the New York Knicks fans
- 11:16that are absolutely lost after that game.
- 11:19Here's the facts. I watch every single Knick game
- 11:22in the playoffs. Every single one of them.
- 11:25In the last 25 years. I haven't missed one playoff
- 11:28game in 25 years. And it doesn't matter where the
- 11:33Knicks are. For some reason the NBA don't
- 11:36like them. They don't like them.
- 11:38I really believe that nobody over there, when it comes to the
- 11:42commissioner, the vice president of basketball operations, likes
- 11:47the New York Knicks because for some reason they put these
- 11:51referees in charge of these games and you wonder if they're
- 11:55actually giving the Knicks homecourt advantage.
- 11:58Usually the the home team has the advantage, not the New York
- 12:02Knicks, not Madison Square Garden.
- 12:04As loud as the fans and how crazy the fans are and how the
- 12:07NBA really promotes New York basketball.
- 12:11For some damn reason, the New York Knicks never get the call.
- 12:15How did they but Errol, how did do they?
- 12:18Do they pick like and speedy? You may know this better than I
- 12:21do from the basketball side of it.
- 12:23Do they pick the referees for postseason based evaluations
- 12:26through regular season or how? But I don't know exactly how the
- 12:31NBA is doing it now. I mean, it's been like that for
- 12:35years. But again, you don't know what
- 12:37Adam Silver with the LJA is running as far as the
- 12:41organization and the the league because the LJA has decided so
- 12:45many different things that make you shake your head.
- 12:47Especially watching the lottery draft just a week ago and
- 12:51watching A-Team like The Mavericks win it after there was
- 12:55a chance of what was a chance 1.8. 1.81. .8% chance that they
- 13:00were going to win the number one draft pick and they get the
- 13:02number one draft pick. Why?
- 13:03Because Luka Doncic is playing with the LJA LeBron James over
- 13:08there, the the association is working in his favor.
- 13:11But I honestly getting back to this game, it's despicable.
- 13:16It's despicable watching Karl Anthony Towns.
- 13:18Everybody says, well, look at the game, Look at the numbers
- 13:20Karl Anthony Towns had in game one.
- 13:23And this is what you want your big man superstar to have.
- 13:26Here's what I don't like about Karl Anthony Town Towns when it
- 13:30comes down to a big shot. First of all, why is he shooting
- 13:3214 of 4050 foot jumpers at the three-point line?
- 13:37Why isn't he not standing behind the line and shooting a normal 3
- 13:40pointer? It doesn't make any.
- 13:42He's not Steph Curry. OK, he's not.
- 13:45And he's got to stop believing that he is.
- 13:47Because every single time I see this guy pick up, get a pass
- 13:51over there 6-7 feet behind the three-point line and he's
- 13:54tucking up threes. And 90% of the time they don't
- 13:57go in. And then this guy gets fouled
- 13:59and he's a 92 or 93% free throw shooter and he misses big shots
- 14:04at the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
- 14:07It doesn't make any sense. And every single time I see
- 14:11this, it just, it reminds me of the 94 Knicks.
- 14:15It's a luck, the bad luck the 94 Knicks had against the Rockets.
- 14:20This isn't even the Finals. And I watched that New York
- 14:23Knick team up three to two make so many common mistakes that
- 14:28this team has done really throughout the playoffs.
- 14:31Look at what they did against Detroit.
- 14:32Look at the games against the Celtics, the games that they
- 14:35lost against the Celtics, They were getting crushed and getting
- 14:38demolished. Even the games that they won,
- 14:40coming back from 20 points, that is despicable.
- 14:43You are a great defensive team. You got you got a great player
- 14:47in OG and Anobi. OG plays an unbelievable
- 14:50defensive game throughout the Celtic series, especially in
- 14:54Game 6, and then all of a sudden in game #1 he disappears
- 14:58defensively against a Pacer team.
- 15:00That's a shell of what the Celtics are.
- 15:02They are. They're a shell of what the
- 15:04Celtics are. They're a good team.
- 15:05They were the hottest team right now going into the playoffs in
- 15:08basketball. The Pacers are, they're very
- 15:10well coached with Rick Carlisle. They've got this guy, Ness
- 15:13Smith, who probably nobody knows who he is unless you watch the
- 15:16Pacers. There's the Celtics draft pick
- 15:18and the Jeff hated it at the time.
- 15:20Yeah. And, and this is a guy that was,
- 15:22what, fourth or third in the league in three-point
- 15:24percentage? And but no, nobody realized that
- 15:26until he was hitting three pointer after three pointer
- 15:28after three pointer in the fourth quarter.
- 15:30It makes you sick to your stomach.
- 15:32It really does. And then you look at the Pacers
- 15:34team as a whole. This is not a very good roster.
- 15:38Nobody thinks that this all around is a better roster than
- 15:42the New York Knicks. And when you have Mikkel Bridges
- 15:44and then Jaylen Bronson and by the way, Jaylen Bronson, why are
- 15:47you getting into foul trouble? You don't play defense.
- 15:50Why are you defending anybody? Why are you out there fouling
- 15:54different people now? Some of the fouls were uncalled
- 15:57for and what they were doing to Jalen Bronson throughout the
- 15:59game was despicable. The referee should have been
- 16:01calling flagrant fouls. There were times in the game
- 16:04that guys were elbowing Jalen Bronson and they were getting
- 16:07away with it. They hit him in the neck, they
- 16:09hit him in the face at least three times in the game.
- 16:12No flagrant fouls were called. And you have Tyrese Alberton on
- 16:15the sidelines talking how great Mitchell Robinson is, but he
- 16:19forgets that he is undercut. The undercut guy over there,
- 16:23their best player in Jalen Bronson throughout the game was
- 16:26absolutely terminating him in every point of the offensive
- 16:31part of the game. The only problem with the New
- 16:33York Knicks is pretty simple. The Knicks, when they get these
- 16:36big leads or they they put themselves in a great position
- 16:40or they have a good rotation, and when they had guys like
- 16:43McBride on the court in the fourth quarter when they were up
- 16:4514, why would you take McBride out?
- 16:48Why would you do that? It makes no sense.
- 16:51You're up 14 with three minutes left of the game.
- 16:54McBride's playing great defense. Hal Burton has not done anything
- 16:58in the fourth quarter, really. And then you take him out to
- 17:00replace him with Jalen Brunson, who doesn't play a lick of
- 17:02defense. I'm not saying Jalen Brunson,
- 17:05he's in the part, a big part of this team.
- 17:06He's the captain of the team. He's the best offensive option.
- 17:09But when you're up 14, why even worry about the offensive side
- 17:12of the ball? Play defense you're letting.
- 17:14These guys that's what we talked about on coaching, watching by
- 17:18feel and watching the game like IA 100% agree with you at that
- 17:23point it's like, OK, you know he's in foul trouble you're up
- 17:2714. Why like let's not mess up with
- 17:30what we got, even though your captain and your best player
- 17:33isn't in there, but you're still up 14.
- 17:36Why why would you change that? And that goes to kind of what we
- 17:40talked about, right, stubbornness with is he doing
- 17:43the like, hey, they have to go in at this time and what have
- 17:47you or are you just watching the game and be like play it by
- 17:50field? Like if they get in with 10,
- 17:52then yeah, OK, probably make a change.
- 17:54But right at that point IA 100% agree with you.
- 17:57Like what are you doing? What?
- 17:58First of all, you you don't. You should never ask Tom
- 18:01Thibodeau to play it by field, because if he plays it by field,
- 18:04he'll keep every single player his starting lineup in for the
- 18:07whole game, all 48 minutes. The guy makes no sense.
- 18:11His rotation makes no sense. Mitzel Robinson should be out
- 18:14there a lot more than he is. It it, it none of it makes
- 18:18sense. And I know he has a love fest
- 18:19for Karl. Anthony Townsend, Jaylen
- 18:21Brunson. They're important pieces to the
- 18:22team. They don't play a lick of
- 18:24defense. Both of them don't play a lick
- 18:26of defense. And you have guys like Mikkel
- 18:29Bridges who gets himself into foul trouble.
- 18:31Makes no sense. OG and Anobi, who at some point
- 18:34I wonder if he's even playing in the game.
- 18:36He completely disappears in certain games when he's so
- 18:39talented. And then when he's getting hot.
- 18:41What is what is a guy like Tom Thibodeau do?
- 18:44He brings Jaylen the Brunson back when you have a hot player
- 18:47shooting the three and doing the things that he's been doing in
- 18:50the fourth quarter, which he hasn't done at the whole game
- 18:52because Jaylen Brunson hogs the ball.
- 18:55That's the facts, Jack. That's why the Knicks never move
- 18:58the ball when he's on the court. It's the Jaylen Brunson show
- 19:02now. He's much better than Carmelo
- 19:04Anthony. He is much better than he is.
- 19:06He hits big shots. He's big game Jay, whatever they
- 19:09call him, big game Jay on the what's the show that they have.
- 19:12I don't know what their roommates, the roommates as we
- 19:15know, Josh Hart calls him big, big game Jay.
- 19:18That's what that's what all the guys on that show that go on the
- 19:20show, that's what they call him. I that's great.
- 19:23He's a great, great big time shooter.
- 19:26But when it comes to the big time parts of the game, when the
- 19:29Knicks need defense, he don't play a lick of it.
- 19:31And they need that defense if they expect to beat this baser
- 19:35team that's young. One can go up and down the court
- 19:38as fast as any team right now in basketball.
- 19:40They don't give a crap and they have nothing to lose.
- 19:43They have nothing to lose right now.
- 19:45They know they could beat the Knicks.
- 19:46They beat him last year. Yes, the Knicks weren't 100%
- 19:49healthy and they're healthier this year, but they know they
- 19:51can beat him. And you have guys like Tyrese
- 19:53Halliburton, who is a cartoon character.
- 19:56He's dancing. He he's SpongeBob SquarePants.
- 19:59He's dancing around, prancing around, holding his neck.
- 20:02Every time he hits a big shot. He's telling the New York Knick
- 20:05fans to go kiss his ass. I, I mean, this is what this guy
- 20:08does. And if if Knick fans want to
- 20:10shut this guy up? Go out there and beat him.
- 20:13Go out there and shut his mouth up.
- 20:15Don't go out there after the game and while you're on social
- 20:19media and TikTok saying, oh, if he ever walks out there and we
- 20:22see him in public, we're going to beat the hell out of him.
- 20:25You think he cares? This guy's making millions and
- 20:27millions of dollars. He doesn't care what the Knicks
- 20:29fans say as long as the Knicks get knocked out of the playoffs
- 20:33and he's the reason why they do that.
- 20:35He don't give a crap. So New York Knicks fans stop
- 20:38going on social media and giving him a reason to make jokes and
- 20:42laugh and put it on that little board over there in Indiana or
- 20:46in their locker room saying, look what I'm doing to the
- 20:49Knicks fans, poke, poke, poke. I'll tell you what Tyrese Albert
- 20:52did that he shouldn't have done. He poked the bear.
- 20:56And we all know when you poke the bear, it's not a good thing.
- 21:00And we know after the New York Knicks game in game #5 the
- 21:05Knicks were not happy. Jalen Brunson was not very
- 21:07happy. Josh Hart was absolutely.
- 21:10He was upset beyond I've ever seen Josh Hart upset.
- 21:15And what did he do at the press conference?
- 21:17He said, listen, if we play like that, we don't deserve to win.
- 21:20We're going to go out there. We're going to be a different
- 21:21team. After this game.
- 21:23You saw Jalen Brunson's face. Not only was he shocked, he was
- 21:27upset. He didn't even want to stay up
- 21:29there and answer any of the questions.
- 21:31And when you see a player like that and you see somebody like
- 21:34Jalen Brunson and he's the captain of the team, what do you
- 21:37think he's going to do after that press conference?
- 21:39He's going to go into that locker room and he's going to
- 21:42shut the door. They're going to have a team
- 21:43meeting, and it's not going to be a happy team meeting.
- 21:45Tom Thibodeau, he's a lot quieter than he used to be.
- 21:49I, I don't know if anybody knows Tom Thibodeau.
- 21:51I don't know personally, but I remember with the Chicago Bulls
- 21:54when after he lost the game, he'd go out there, his face
- 21:57would be red screaming at the press.
- 21:59He wouldn't, he couldn't finish his sentence before he's mocking
- 22:03everybody. Not yesterday.
- 22:05He was calm and collective. He was upset.
- 22:07He said, listen, we are the better.
- 22:09He pretty much said we are the better team.
- 22:11We choked at the end of the game.
- 22:14We gave that game up and that could cost the series or I'll
- 22:18get my team back into this series and let them realize that
- 22:21we're not going to just run through this team.
- 22:23It's this is going to be all the way to the end.
- 22:25This is going to be a race. This is, this is a marathon, not
- 22:28a it's not going to happen. And you know, in five, five
- 22:32games, it's not going to happen. Probably in six games.
- 22:34It could happen in seven games. I I just think that the Knicks
- 22:37need to understand something. This Pacer team is not going to
- 22:40go away. They're not going to go away.
- 22:41They're ants. That's what they are.
- 22:43And what does a ants do? They protect the queen and when
- 22:46Rick Carlisle is out there speaking to the referees and
- 22:51calling and that guy, you want to talk about an energetic guy
- 22:54at the press conference, go watch his press conferences.
- 22:57That guy's crazy and you can see the way his team plays.
- 23:01They play just like him. He goes out there and he says I
- 23:05don't give a crap. My team's going to go out there.
- 23:07We're going to play hard, hard nosed basketball, old time
- 23:10basketball, and if you beat us, you beat us fair and square.
- 23:13That's the way he goes out and plays the game and that's what
- 23:16you want to see the Knicks do. But if Tom Thibodeau does not
- 23:19fight fire with fire and he plays these baby games and lets
- 23:23this cartoon character go out there and barrass the Knicks on
- 23:27their home floor, this series could go this series could go in
- 23:30five. This team needs to wake up.
- 23:32They need to go in Game 2. They need to show up on Friday
- 23:35and and not even make this game close.
- 23:37They win it by double digits and they make sure they know that
- 23:40when we go back to Indiana, it's not going to be one of those
- 23:43ears easy series at home. We're a better home, we're a
- 23:46better away team than we are at home.
- 23:47Yeah, you also look at the way that their offense is structured
- 23:50too. Like obviously they're one of
- 23:51the fastest paced teams in the league.
- 23:53Yes, pun intended. I'm not going to go crazy like
- 23:55Josh did on his show, but they play at one of the highest rates
- 23:57in the league, the 7th ranked offense in the league in terms
- 24:00of offensive efficiency. And like you were saying with
- 24:02Nemhart, one of the biggest offensive 3 point shooting
- 24:05prowesses we've seen between Nemhart, Halliburton, Benedict
- 24:08Matherne to shoot threes. Like they have a lot of guys.
- 24:10Even Turner for a big man is one of the better ones in the league
- 24:12shooting threes. So the Knicks had to realize
- 24:14that when it came to the defensive matchups late in the
- 24:16game and they they just didn't do it enough.
- 24:18I had a problem when we were talking about the Celtics
- 24:20blowing out the Nixon game three.
- 24:21They were not guarding the top of the key threes whatsoever.
- 24:24I saw a lot of that problem come into effect in this game too.
- 24:27And I think the rotation like like we were talking about
- 24:30earlier with bringing Jalen Bronson, if you're going to
- 24:32bring Bronson and take talent out like you could have done
- 24:34that, put Robinson at 5, put OG at the four, so Robinson's not
- 24:38guarding the perimeter. Rotate the defense a little bit
- 24:40more. I I don't get it.
- 24:42Why is Robinson playing? Do you think though, Mitchell
- 24:45needs to play more than in 20 minutes a game?
- 24:46Yes, and I also don't think he should be switching as much on
- 24:49the perimeter because he got he got toasted in overtime and late
- 24:53in the fourth quarter against guys driving in the hoop.
- 24:56That's how the Pacers. Are you know how you know
- 24:57Mitchell Robinson is healthy? You know how he's healthy?
- 25:00Because he's going out there at the perimeter and he's defending
- 25:03the point guards. He is all over the place that
- 25:06that's how you know Mitchell Robinson's 100% healthy because
- 25:09when Mitch is healthy, he's all over the place.
- 25:12He's jumping, he's running all over the place.
- 25:14That's what you want to see a young big man do you know, play
- 25:18And he is 27 years old. He had a major injury last year.
- 25:22He was out for a significant amount of time.
- 25:24He comes back. He the first two weeks him back,
- 25:27he's played very, very light basketball.
- 25:29And now finally he's got his legs under him.
- 25:31This is when you want to see Mitchell Robinson take over
- 25:34games. I don't want to see Karl Anthony
- 25:36Town sounds out there in the fourth quarter.
- 25:37I want to see your best defensive player out there
- 25:40rebounding, offensive rebounding and getting into these guys
- 25:43faces, making sure they know. Remember Tim Hardaway junior
- 25:46against the Detroit Pistons when every time Mitchell Robinson was
- 25:50out there at the, you know, around the perimeter or even at
- 25:53the free free throw line, free throw line, when he's standing
- 25:56there waiting for the the free throw to go up, he's talking to
- 25:59Tim Hardaway junior, getting him pissed off.
- 26:01He's getting into their heads. That's what Mitchell Robinson is
- 26:04good at. He gets into people's heads and
- 26:07that's why he is an important piece to their defense, the
- 26:10anchor of where this defense could go and that's they want to
- 26:14be a champion. If they want to win a
- 26:15championship, Mitchell Robinson needs to be Mitchell Robinson.
- 26:19And do you like it? Do you like them switching on
- 26:21the perimeter? To no that's what I'm referring
- 26:23to. Like the switching defense is
- 26:26good with the wings because the wings are versatile enough to
- 26:29make it work. Josh Hart can defend a three and
- 26:31maybe sometimes a a smaller 4 if he has to.
- 26:33OG could defend A23 and A4 like those are the switches you want
- 26:37to have, not Mitchell Robinson go out on the perimeter where he
- 26:40looks like Rudy go like the Rudy Gobert in the past too with with
- 26:43Utah teams did this to the playoffs all the time, switched
- 26:46him on the perimeter. Phoenix did it very well.
- 26:49The Clippers did it very well with Kawhi Leonard and Paul
- 26:51George like that. That's the matchups you don't
- 26:53want because Rudy Gobert did not look as good in the perimeter
- 26:56and Mitchell Robinson was the same kind of way and he got
- 26:58toasted in the end of that game on defense.
- 27:01And yes, the minutes we were talking about yes, should be a
- 27:03lot higher. Mitchell Robinson should be
- 27:04playing the five a lot more, especially since he's done
- 27:06better hitting his free throws now.
- 27:07And there's a rule in place now where you could actually pick
- 27:11your free throw shooter that the Knicks found a loophole in with
- 27:14the NBA rule book. So Mitchell Robinson, if as long
- 27:16as he doesn't have the ball in his hands, they could pick a
- 27:18different free throw shooter for that kind of thing.
- 27:20So those are the matchups that they have to pay attention to.
- 27:22And I don't think they did enough of it in the game.
- 27:24I would have played, this is how I would have played the end of
- 27:26the game if you. Want to bring Bronson speedy?
- 27:28Hold on. So is that what the like the
- 27:30hacker Mitch they can pick if he doesn't have the ball?
- 27:32He doesn't have the ball in the inbounding.
- 27:34Yeah, that's what the loophole that they found later in the
- 27:36series against the Celtics when the Celtics were doing it a ton
- 27:39in Game 2, they were they they found that loophole.
- 27:43Now what I would have done this is the if you're going to take
- 27:45put Brunson in the last five minutes, take talent out because
- 27:48he's not as good defensively. Robinson plays the five, then OG
- 27:51at the four. Then you have McBride stay in
- 27:52the game with the 2 with heart at the three.
- 27:54Like have a defensive line or Bridges at the three.
- 27:56Have a defensive line up like that where you could guard the.
- 27:59Perimeter, if you're up 14, it doesn't matter.
- 28:01That's the point. Even if Mitch is playing, it
- 28:05doesn't matter. Hack a Mitch hack of this hack
- 28:08of that. It doesn't matter if he's on the
- 28:09court. As long as they're up 14 and
- 28:12they got the defense and they can rebound the ball, that's all
- 28:15that matters. I, I don't want to hear about.
- 28:16Well, they need Brunson on the court.
- 28:18They need Carl Anthony Towns on the court.
- 28:20They don't need offense. That's the problem with the
- 28:22Knicks. They are always trying to
- 28:23compile points. Compiling points against the
- 28:26Pacers are not going to work because we've seen Rick Carlisle
- 28:29do that with the Dallas Mavericks.
- 28:32The Dallas Mavericks, when they won their championship, you know
- 28:35what made them so good? It's their team defense.
- 28:38That's what they did. That Jason Kidd, they had Dirk,
- 28:41even Dirk Nowitzki played some kind of defense.
- 28:44That's what they're going to need.
- 28:45They had players that could defend the perimeter and rebound
- 28:49the ball. That's why Dallas beat Miami.
- 28:51And if the Knicks plan to beat this young Pacer, gritty team,
- 28:55and you want to stick it right up Mr. Tyrese Halberton's ass,
- 28:59this is what you got to do. You got to put Mitchell Robinson
- 29:02on Tyrese Alberton and you need to foul his ass and let him know
- 29:06that I am not going to let you go up there for an easy layup.
- 29:09I'm not going to let you go up and shoot an easy three.
- 29:12You're going to feel every single time my wrath if you do
- 29:15that. Who cares if he fouls out?
- 29:17It doesn't matter. You need that aggressive play.
- 29:20The Knicks got to play aggressive because that's what
- 29:22the Pacers are going to do against the Knicks.
- 29:24I'll do you one better, Errol. Not only would I have Mitch help
- 29:28out on every single thing that he's coming on down in the drive
- 29:31and give him a hard foul, I'd have Deuce McBride follow him
- 29:34around the court the entire night and not let him breathe.
- 29:37Pick him up full court. This is what needs to be done.
- 29:40And then when he gets tired, you put bridges on him.
- 29:43And then when he gets tired, you put someone else on him and you
- 29:46make him work so hard that he's a sieve defensively.
- 29:50Because that's, I mean, look, Brunson already destroyed him.
- 29:53It was 41 points he and it wasn't a hard fourty one and
- 29:58then I think he got tired late in the game.
- 29:59That's my worry right now. These minutes are piling up.
- 30:03Townsend Brunson shots were consistently short in overtime
- 30:06and that's why they were missing and late in the game.
- 30:09That's not what you want to see. That's tired legs that you
- 30:12that's why you're short. That's the last thing as a team
- 30:14you want to see happen at this point in the year.
- 30:16They need to keep it going for another three weeks to have that
- 30:19energy with those legs. So I'm a little worried in a
- 30:22shootout with them. But again, let's just play
- 30:26better defense because defense was not played last night.
- 30:28And I'm 100% with you. No reason for Towns to have been
- 30:31out there at that point in the game when you could have put
- 30:34Mitch in there. You could have had found a way
- 30:36to make sure they wouldn't switch Mitch on to like the top
- 30:39of the pick and roll or something.
- 30:41He just needed to be because Carlisle's smart.
- 30:44You said it like Carlisle, he knows the game inside and out.
- 30:47He knows how to get like he's a champion, he's a champion.
- 30:50He knows how to get a guy like Mitch out of his way if you're
- 30:54not careful. And they got him out of his way
- 30:56when he was in. So Tibbs didn't really have an
- 30:57answer. He's like, I'll just go with my
- 30:58five guys were winning anyway. I mean, there was a stat arrow
- 31:01that the Knicks were a 99.96% chance to win that game with a
- 31:06couple of minutes left that if that's what it's going to take
- 31:10Tom Brady, like the Pacers to win Brady, like if that I think
- 31:13it's actually worse if that's what it takes for the Pacers to
- 31:16win. I I still like the Knicks
- 31:18chances this. Series.
- 31:19I think a lot of people, I think a lot of people like the Knicks
- 31:22chances in this series because you watch the Knicks play as
- 31:25good a basketball as we've seen the Knicks play in the fourth
- 31:27quarter. They played very well until the
- 31:30last five minutes in the fourth quarter and they didn't even
- 31:33need Jaylen Bronson to help them do that.
- 31:35Jaylen Bronson was not on the court when the Knicks went on
- 31:38that. Why 12/1 run or 12 two run and
- 31:42and and and It was OG and Anobi, it was Miles McBride.
- 31:46It was these guys, the guys that were secondary players right
- 31:50behind Jalen Brunson that were taking over the game.
- 31:52OG and Anopi did not have one of his better games.
- 31:55But in the in the fourth quarter when you needed OG to hit a
- 31:58three, he hit a three. When you needed OG to go up
- 32:01there and dunk the ball, he dunk the ball.
- 32:03That's what you want to see aggressive type of playing.
- 32:06And I want to see more of Karl Anthony Towns go into the hole
- 32:09not shooting up 60 foot jumpers. I don't get Karl Anthony Towns.
- 32:13Everybody looks at his line of scoring.
- 32:16Wow, he had a great game. But guess what guys?
- 32:19When it came down to the big parts of the game, was Karl
- 32:21Anthony Towns really playing well?
- 32:23The answer was no, he wasn't playing well.
- 32:26And when Jaylen Bronson isn't on the court, you expect Jaylen, a
- 32:29guy like Karl Anthony Towns to take over the game and he can't.
- 32:32He's not that type of player. And I've said this many, many
- 32:35times and you guys remember this.
- 32:37I said the most important player on this team is Karl Anthony
- 32:40Towns. Did I not say that?
- 32:41I've been saying that for a very long time.
- 32:43And here's the reason why I think Karl Anthony Towns is more
- 32:46important than Jaylen Bronson and every single one OG and
- 32:49Anobi is because Karl Anthony Towns has one thing the Knicks
- 32:52have not had in such. I don't even remember last time
- 32:55the Knicks had it. They have a big man that is very
- 32:58athletic that can go to the hole, shoot threes and get
- 33:02fouled and go to the free throw line and shoot 92% at the free
- 33:07throw line. Could you remember a New York
- 33:09Knick player or big man that's ever done that?
- 33:12I've got 1. Who?
- 33:14And it was like a year and a half of Porzingis before he got
- 33:17hurt and was on and off. The let's not talk those numbers
- 33:19he has. Let's not talk about that here.
- 33:21Let's never talk about that idiot.
- 33:23Let's not even. That was the hope, though.
- 33:24Like we want, always wanted that guy.
- 33:26They were drafted ironically, Same draft.
- 33:28Yeah, same draft ironically. And they won games at the end of
- 33:30the year and got a worst draft position.
- 33:33You know, this is like the New York tradition.
- 33:34All my favorite teams end up screwing themselves that way.
- 33:37We ended up with Towns anyway and he's a flawed player, but he
- 33:41has so much talent and he does things that other teams can't
- 33:44stop, so as long as we make him a weapon and not a liability.
- 33:47How do you make him a weapon? How do you make him a weapon?
- 33:50And I'll tell. You, I think you saw it in that
- 33:51run, right? You have him taking up space and
- 33:54you have the other forwards and wings.
- 33:56Handle the ball. Go to.
- 33:57The hole, Go to the hole and draw fouls.
- 34:01You're a big man. There's nobody on that team.
- 34:03He's a stretch 5 though. He's a stretch 5.
- 34:06He's the best shooting outside shooting big man that's in the
- 34:09league by far. But if you look what he did
- 34:11against the Celtics in game four-game six, look what he did
- 34:15in game six. What did he do that was so
- 34:17important in that game was go to the hole and draw a foul?
- 34:20That's what. Well, Jaylen Brown got into foul
- 34:22trouble. Why?
- 34:23Because at points he had to shift over to the Karl Anthony
- 34:27Towns and try to defend him. When he's hitting that shot,
- 34:31though, that's when teams have to play up on him in the
- 34:34perimeter and then he can blow by them.
- 34:36And then he can do that too, but he's not that great with his
- 34:39back to the basket. But if he's hitting a shot and
- 34:42then being able to to get in and validate what he's doing where
- 34:48they have to come pressure him, then he's better at that drawing
- 34:51fouls. But I just don't think he's that
- 34:53great with his back to the basket of trying to get in and
- 34:55draw fouls like that. There's one thing that could
- 34:58solve this team that they are facing and I don't know if they
- 35:01can pull it off because it didn't look good when they tried
- 35:03it last series. When they play them both
- 35:06together when they play Robinson and Towns together because
- 35:10theoretically they should cover each other's weaknesses with
- 35:13their strengths. Robinson can rim protect when
- 35:16Towns can. Towns can do the outside
- 35:20shooting and the more of the offensive game and Robinson can
- 35:23just get layups in Ollie. Oops, that's all he needs to do
- 35:26on offense. But that hasn't worked yet.
- 35:29Jamie Lee in the comments section, I said that's what
- 35:31surprised me the most. Thibodeau team giving up on
- 35:32defense at the end of the game. Yeah, they they did and they,
- 35:35they never. Adjusted Tom Thibodeau's defense
- 35:37hasn't been good with the Knicks for two years.
- 35:39This has been a really bad defense.
- 35:42Up and down, up and down. I.
- 35:44Mean for tip for Thibodeau is bad because he's always been
- 35:47that guy, right? He was the defensive coordinator
- 35:49of the Celtics championship teams when they faced Kobe with
- 35:53KG when Thibodeau. Came to this team, Fish came to
- 35:57this team. This team was a top five defense
- 35:59for almost three years. Top five.
- 36:02It was that good of a defense. Now you add OG Nanobi, Mikhail
- 36:05Bridges and Josh Hart and you have Mitchell Robinson.
- 36:09You have 4 elite defenders and I'm sorry, Miles McBride too,
- 36:14who's really an elite defender at the point guard position.
- 36:17You have five guys that could defend multiple positions and
- 36:22you're letting this Pacer team run all over you when you have a
- 36:251415 point lead with five 5 minutes left of the game,
- 36:28embarrassing on your homecourt in front of all those great
- 36:31movie stars and X Knicks jumping around.
- 36:35But by the way, I don't want to see John Starks anymore.
- 36:38I don't want to see him anymore because as much as I love you,
- 36:41John, I remember nothing more than those 17 bricks and game
- 36:46seven against the Rockets. I don't want to see you out
- 36:50there. I don't it.
- 36:51Was 10 but it felt like 17 it. Was the second most.
- 36:53Brick. It was 17 in my eyes.
- 36:55It. Was the third most bricks ever
- 36:56built in New York basketball. Julius Randall second.
- 36:59Ben Simmons is first. It was embarrassing, and it's
- 37:01embarrassing, by the way, Carmelo Anthony never won with
- 37:04the Knicks. Stephon Marbury never won with
- 37:06the Knicks. Patrick Ewing never one with the
- 37:09Knicks. Go on.
- 37:10Jr. Smith was there.
- 37:12Never one with the Knicks? Give me a break.
- 37:14I don't want to. I don't.
- 37:15I saw Jr. Smith when I went to commercial.
- 37:17I was like, isn't that Jr. Smith?
- 37:19Speedy? He was standing right there.
- 37:20He was like, I don't want to see Jr.
- 37:24Smith. Party, Let's face it.
- 37:25I don't 100%. I could care less.
- 37:27I Errol, one of our one of our guys at a regular listener, my
- 37:31boy Tommy, he was just like, he literally was like stay out of
- 37:35foul trouble. And that's on Tibbs, exactly
- 37:37what you said. It's like, why in that aspect
- 37:40you bringing him in? And I, I agree with you guys
- 37:42that 100% on on that aspect. This this is a little bit
- 37:46probably on Tibbs, more so than some of the little bit of of bad
- 37:50play towards the end of the game.
- 37:54Well, yeah, again, you look, there's many different
- 37:56adjustments that I think Thibodeau could have made in the
- 37:59timeouts. But again, at the same time,
- 38:00like they're on the players too. Like I think the lineup was bad
- 38:03the way they did it. But I think when you look at the
- 38:06adjustments regarding the primer, you can let them get
- 38:08inside baskets for two. So you could foul them, you
- 38:10could do other things. If you're getting beat on the
- 38:12threes, you don't want to have them come back with threes.
- 38:14That's why this scenario was so rare.
- 38:16First time in 978 games, 14 point lead was blow.
- 38:19I don't even care how many games and how many playoff series
- 38:23there have been. And since this has happened, it
- 38:25doesn't really matter. Here's the problem.
- 38:27It happens only to the Knicks. It only happens to the Knicks.
- 38:33Y'all are struggling up there, y'all.
- 38:35Struggling. It it only I sat there to hurt
- 38:37him yesterday. Speedy was I was standing right
- 38:40in front of my 65 inch TV in my my living room and I told speedy
- 38:44with three minutes, I'm sorry, 5 minutes left in the game when
- 38:46they were up 14. They're going to lose this game.
- 38:49They're going to lose this game. I don't even want to watch this.
- 38:51I'm pacing back and forth and as every single three went in by
- 38:54Nesmith, I was telling Speedy this get this game is over.
- 38:58I'm telling you how Burton's going to hit a game winner and
- 39:00we're going to watch this team absolutely choke.
- 39:03And what happens? He practically hits a three.
- 39:06He practically. And by the way, what are the
- 39:08chances that something hits off the rim 15 feet in the air and
- 39:13falls in and it it, it just, I mean.
- 39:16Perfect spin on. The ball.
- 39:19Shoot. But that's like, that's like a
- 39:21video game thing. You should.
- 39:22You should only get that at home, not on the.
- 39:24Road impossible Java. Check the spin rate.
- 39:28Look, Nesmith isn't going to go 8 for 9 from three again this
- 39:33series. I'm pretty confident in saying
- 39:35that that was ties of Pacers record.
- 39:37That doesn't mean he shows Reggie.
- 39:39Right. I'm not worried about that.
- 39:41I'm worried that they don't play enough defense and that they
- 39:44don't, you know, they get themselves into foul trouble and
- 39:47they play dumb games. That's not even what I'm worried
- 39:48about. You know what?
- 39:49I'm worried if they. If they, if they don't, if they
- 39:51stay in foul trouble, they're a better team.
- 39:53They just got to play defense. I'm worried about worried, I'm
- 39:56worried about them watching them, them go down the way they
- 39:59did in game #1 and it's caught in their brains.
- 40:02And if they go up at any point in the fourth quarter, it's
- 40:05going to be in their minds that they're going to lose the lead.
- 40:07And that's what happens. That's what.
- 40:10I mean, outside of game six of the Celtic series, though, what
- 40:14game did they have a big lead like that that they.
- 40:16Had doesn't. Look like that was the first
- 40:18time all play what was. It game one.
- 40:20It's the exact opposite. They were getting blown out.
- 40:23Then they come back and. They came back games one and two
- 40:26of the Celtics series now. A little taste of their own
- 40:28medicine coming back on them. I better be a freaking wake up
- 40:32call because if it's not, you're a Knick fan South.
- 40:35I think you're a Knick fan and that's what a Knick fan would
- 40:37say. It's better be a wake up call.
- 40:39I don't think it's a wake up wake up call for the new.
- 40:41York, I mean they outplayed them the whole game.
- 40:42Doesn't matter. Last 6 minutes we've seen.
- 40:44This before What are you? What are you guys blind?
- 40:46You don't remember some of the games that we've seen in the
- 40:48past. And I think what Errol is
- 40:49getting at is the Pacers had a clutch identity, too.
- 40:51They came back down 10 three times.
- 40:52Again, look at what they did against the Cavaliers.
- 40:54The Cavaliers were the best team in the East all season long.
- 40:57They go in to Cleveland and absolutely, completely turn them
- 41:01over. The Cavalier fans.
- 41:03No, this series was over after Halperton hit that 3 pointer in
- 41:07game one. It gave the series was over.
- 41:09And what did he do in game one against the Knicks?
- 41:11He hit practically the same shot and it went in even though it
- 41:15took him to overtime and the Knicks had a chance to, to stop
- 41:18that choking sensation that he had in the fourth quarter.
- 41:22And the problem is, and I, I see it from you, you're a Knick fan
- 41:25and all the Knick fans out there.
- 41:27Oh, I listen to Josh's show game on before our show.
- 41:30And he says, listen, I still have.
- 41:32I still believe that we're the better team.
- 41:34I still think we have enough to beat this team.
- 41:37Here's what I think. I don't think anything because
- 41:40the word think always comes into my vocabulary when I think about
- 41:44the Knicks. Think, think, think, think,
- 41:46think. And when that word comes up in
- 41:48any Knicks mouth, it means they're going to lose.
- 41:51Think, think about it. They always lose.
- 41:55And that's what bothers me about this team and the way they lost
- 41:58in game one. This is a different.
- 42:00Team No it's not. No, it's not.
- 42:01They haven't done this. They haven't had a keep a lead
- 42:05like that. This team is a better team than
- 42:07the Pacers. They are better.
- 42:08At almost I remember you said that I don't.
- 42:11Think there's a position that they have a starter that's not
- 42:13better than their guy on the bench.
- 42:15Maybe we could talk about it. But on the front court, I think
- 42:19Cat's better than Turner. I think OG is better than, well,
- 42:22I'll say Yoji has some trouble with Siakam, but I thought OG
- 42:25and Siakam, they'll play to withdraw.
- 42:27I think they obviously know each other very well from Toronto
- 42:32days. Look, Bridges is better than
- 42:34whoever they got, Hearts better than whoever they got, and
- 42:37Brunson is better than Halliburton.
- 42:40That's how I see it. And that team should.
- 42:42Win and you know and you know how.
- 42:43I and they almost. Did you know how I see it?
- 42:45The Cavaliers by far were better than them.
- 42:47They were I. Think the Knicks would have
- 42:48taken the care? Of it doesn't matter too, the
- 42:50Cavaliers were that much better than they were.
- 42:52And what happened to the Cavaliers in that series?
- 42:55They lost. They lost him five.
- 42:57They lost. No problem.
- 42:58OK, no problem. I I'm going to tell you this
- 43:00right now, then expect to show up in game.
- 43:01It'll be two 2 heading back and then they're going to take 5 at
- 43:06home in a in a blowout and then just rain on their parade in six
- 43:09in in Indy. This is this is a true Giant
- 43:11fan. This is a true Giant fan, ladies
- 43:13and gentlemen. This is a guy.
- 43:15This is a guy. This is a guy that never, ever
- 43:19turns on his team. But here's what I'm going to
- 43:21say. I don't care if I'm a Knick fan.
- 43:23I don't care. You with all your multiple teams
- 43:25that you like. Multiple teams.
- 43:27What am I? I Why?
- 43:28Because I like Philadelphia? Because I grew up a Mcdan fan.
- 43:31What? What else?
- 43:32I'm a Knick fan. I'm a Yankee fan.
- 43:34I'm a Yankee fan. Kind of have two teams.
- 43:37No, I don't. He just changed hockey teams
- 43:39over the course of his. Life I'm Yeah, but no, I first
- 43:41of all, I was 11 years old or 12 years old when I became a
- 43:45Florida Panther fan because I was a Van Beesbrook fan and when
- 43:48he went to the Islanders, I became an Islander fan.
- 43:51I'd been an cylinder fan really, since I was 1560.
- 43:54Results. I feel like Errol people our age
- 43:57and I'm going to lump myself in with you because I'm feeling old
- 43:59as hell. I think we used to be more only
- 44:03team fan type guys. I think you were kind of an
- 44:06outlier when we were growing up, but nowadays I think kids are
- 44:10like you where they follow players a lot more than we.
- 44:14Take shots out all the time. Hold on one second.
- 44:16I follow players. I followed one player 2.
- 44:19Players. You did McNabb.
- 44:20You did, Van Beesbrook. First of all, first of all, I
- 44:24was a Donovan McNabb fan when I was a kid.
- 44:27I watched college football and for some reason I was a Syracuse
- 44:31fan growing up. So when Donovan McNabb was
- 44:34coming up from high school and I heard about him, I became a big
- 44:37fan of his. And I said to myself, wherever
- 44:39he goes, wherever he's drafted, I'm going to root on for that
- 44:42team. And then, and The Jets were
- 44:43always bad. They.
- 44:45Always get him on the show. For the record, by the way, we
- 44:47should get Nathan on getting him.
- 44:49On I will say this, Donovan McNabb was this close of joining
- 44:52our show when we were at the Super Bowl, he passed us and he
- 44:55was this close. And Donovan McNabb, I've
- 44:57interviewed him before. I met him in Miami at the Super
- 45:00Bowl and he was so gracious because every, he had a big,
- 45:03huge bouncer. Guys, he was huge.
- 45:05He was like 6 foot 8 and he was pushing people away.
- 45:08And as soon as he walked past me and I gave him a couple of
- 45:11numbers that I remember him in Syracuse, he turned around, he
- 45:14smiled at me and he just turned out.
- 45:16And he turned around and started speaking to me.
- 45:19And I had a picture with him. We spoke about 15 minutes.
- 45:21And I'm like, where are you going, man?
- 45:22And he says, I'm getting the hell out of here.
- 45:24I don't want to deal with the people.
- 45:25So. And that's a true story about
- 45:27Donovan McNabb. I love Donovan McNabb, but I
- 45:30didn't follow players. I I followed.
- 45:32I'm saying like you, you follow your favorite.
- 45:34Team I had, favorite players I did.
- 45:36But I'm the favorite player. I was always.
- 45:38That's how true is the team. It's not the name.
- 45:41I was a. Jed.
- 45:42I was a Jed fan, but I was a Donovan McNabb fan.
- 45:46I was a Jet fan and and I. I can understand why The Jets
- 45:49could do something like that to you.
- 45:50Who's you know who my favorite Nick was of all time?
- 45:54It was Charles Oakley. It was Charles Oakley.
- 45:57He was my favorite Nick of all time.
- 45:58And my favorite team growing up out of all the sports was the
- 46:01Knicks. It was an I was a hockey player
- 46:03and it was the Knicks. I was a die hard Knick fan.
- 46:06I bled orange, blue and white. That's what I bled all my times.
- 46:13I used to take that like baseline turnaround fade away
- 46:16that Ewing tried to do and say because I airballed it.
- 46:19One of the most overrated New York Knicks.
- 46:22Of all but he was He was still 20 and 10.
- 46:25Let's face it, he was, for a very long time, 20.
- 46:29And 10, stop this stop, stop, stop, stop with this Patrick,
- 46:33you and crap. If I saw Patrick in front of me
- 46:35right now, I would do this for for I would mock him like Tyrese
- 46:39Halliburton. I would grab my neck and say he
- 46:42was a choke artist because that's all he was.
- 46:45I love Patrick Ewing, but I don't want to hear from Nick
- 46:47Fitzer. The writers, big man, the Nixon
- 46:49are at That's a lie. That's a lie.
- 46:51Remember Willis Reed? Does anybody remember him?
- 46:53Come on, guys. Even to Buscher was practically
- 46:56what, 6869 or something around? He was a better big man in those
- 47:00times. That was a big man.
- 47:02I would say. I would say to Buscher was a
- 47:04better play. It doesn't matter, I'm just I'm
- 47:07tired of hearing. I'm not disagreeing with
- 47:09possibly the Buscher being better because the Buscher is
- 47:11Hall of Famer so. So was Patrick Ewing.
- 47:13He's a Hall of Famer. No, I know, but like, we're
- 47:16arguing Hall of Fame versus Hall of Fame.
- 47:17Obviously, I don't kind of. Everybody's a Hall of Fame in
- 47:19the NBA now. Everybody goes to the Hall of
- 47:21Fame. It makes you sick.
- 47:22It makes you sick. Everybody, I mean, right now,
- 47:25practically the whole league's a Hall of Famer.
- 47:27Every single one of those. LeBron LeBron will make sure JJ
- 47:30Radical get the Hall of Famer. Smith is going to be a Hall of
- 47:32Famer because he hit, he hit 8. 8 Three hits, eight out of nine.
- 47:35If he's talking, all might as well be give me a break.
- 47:38I mean, it's crazy. I mean, there's there's some
- 47:40guys that are there's a guy that I think is a surefire Hall of
- 47:43Famer, Errol that didn't get the MVP for some reason this year.
- 47:48You freaking believe that. That's what I think.
- 47:50That's what I think. I think, I think great.
- 47:54A great segue though. Yeah, good work.
- 47:56The figure, the figures with the New York Knicks and everybody
- 47:59that's probably listening to us right now and saying this guy's
- 48:02nuts. You're a Nick hater.
- 48:04No, I'm not a Nick hater. I'm an honest Nick fan.
- 48:06And I'm just telling you guys, when you hear you think that
- 48:10worries me, that worries me Knick fans, when you hear any
- 48:13Knick fan like Mr. Fisherman over there says.
- 48:17I never said I think I'm said I'm very confident they're going
- 48:20to win six think you're just making shit up.
- 48:22You said I think that's what you said.
- 48:25Oh my goodness. I think you took 6 letters and
- 48:28said it changed my entire opinion.
- 48:30You said I think, did you not? I said I'm very confident.
- 48:34No, you you didn't use those. They barely beat them.
- 48:37They had a point O 14 to beat them with three minutes left and
- 48:41this has been that's like having pocket aces and four of a kind
- 48:44and getting beat with the royal flush on the last call.
- 48:47Now we're going to play a couple times.
- 48:48That happens once in 17 lifetimes.
- 48:52We just saw this. Doesn't want to do.
- 48:53Any rare basketball games that ever happens?
- 48:55This doesn't want to do anymore. You're a joker, that's what you
- 48:58want. I got to get off this before.
- 48:59Yeah, Joker should have been MVP in my bill.
- 49:02Chris Alexander won an NBA MVP award this past week.
- 49:07Yes, it was yesterday ladies and gentlemen, beating Nicola Yokich
- 49:11and Giannis for that wonderful award.
- 49:14Shy got 71 out of 101st place votes, while Yokich got 29 of
- 49:20them. Shy also got 913 total votes
- 49:24compared to Yokich with 787 and Giannis 480.
- 49:28Despite finishing second in the MVP voting, Yokich joins Bill
- 49:32Russell and Larry Bird as the only three players to finish
- 49:35first or second in MVP voting 5 consecutive years.
- 49:39Shy was the 10th player in NBA history to win an MVP when
- 49:44leading the league in scoring and leading his team with 260
- 49:48wins. Nine of those ten players one
- 49:51NBA MVPS, with the lone exception being Karl Malone
- 49:56winning an MVP over Michael Jordan in 96 and 97 that season.
- 50:02Yokich finished the season with a triple double, averaging 29.6
- 50:06points per game, 12.7 rebounds per game, and 10.2 assists per
- 50:12game. Shy finished the season with
- 50:1332.7 points per Game, 5 rebounds per game, and 6.4 assists per
- 50:19game. By the way, congratulations to
- 50:21Shy Alexander. I'm not going to take any shots
- 50:23at the kid. Very well deserved.
- 50:25I love the kid, I love everything about his story.
- 50:28Coming from Kentucky, a guy that really wasn't even the superstar
- 50:32over there when he was there, a lot of people were questioning
- 50:35if the guy was going to transition into the NBA the way
- 50:38he did. So it's an amazing story and if
- 50:41you know anything about Shy Alexander is a Canadian player
- 50:44and a lot of Canadians that come into the NBA are really not
- 50:46successful. They're really not.
- 50:48Could you name the last Canadian that one in MVP?
- 50:51The answer? Steve Nash.
- 50:53Steve Nash was the last one. He's the only one.
- 50:56He was the only one from Canada that's one in MVP and he want
- 51:01two of them. Shia Alexandra has a chance to
- 51:03win three, maybe even four of them.
- 51:05He is a special player, but I'm sorry, Yokich was the best
- 51:08player in the NBA all season long.
- 51:10I'm not going to. There's no question that he was
- 51:12to average a triple double as a big man, and the way he did it
- 51:15in a Western Conference, that is more impressive than scoring 32
- 51:19points. And but you, you brought this up
- 51:21barrel. It's what the the NBA or the LGA
- 51:25however you want. To call lja, it's.
- 51:27They didn't want to give it to him like how how do you not give
- 51:31a guy that is a big man averaging a triple double
- 51:35because he's already got his MVPS right.
- 51:38And as you've have, you stated on the show plenty of times and
- 51:42you're 100% right, because you call it, it's like he should get
- 51:45another one, but they're not going to give it to him because
- 51:48they want this this other Ave. of a guy with dope.
- 51:53He he's a great player. Dope what he did for his team
- 51:56mates, buying them all Rolexes. Like good for him.
- 51:59Like that's awesome because it it shows that he understands how
- 52:03important his team mates are, whether he's doing it for to
- 52:05show face or that's who he is. I don't know him as a person, so
- 52:08I can't speak on that, but it's great that he did that to his
- 52:12team mates. But I agree with you 100%.
- 52:15You called it from the beginning when we started talking about
- 52:17this that he was going to get the MVP, but Yokich is the best
- 52:21player. When you average a triple,
- 52:22double in the standards that he's doing it, position that
- 52:25he's doing it without a doubt, like he's going to be in the
- 52:28conversation every year because we haven't seen a big man like
- 52:32that do what he does. He's the greatest big man we've
- 52:35seen really since Tim Duncan. Honestly, if you go back at the
- 52:40positions that both of them play, and obviously he's a, he
- 52:42plays A5. Tim Duncan played the four and
- 52:44A5. But Tim Duncan revolutionized
- 52:47the game the way he did as an anchored defender.
- 52:49And he was just, he was boring to watch, but he did it so well,
- 52:53OK. He made the He made the bank
- 52:55shot sexy. Yeah, he made everything sexy
- 52:57because he always won. And and if you ask Greg
- 52:59Popovich, when was the last time on Gregg Popovich won a
- 53:02championship, you can't remember because Tim Duncan was on that
- 53:05team. And I'm sorry, Gregg Popovich
- 53:08was only as good as the player that he coached and that was Tim
- 53:11Duncan. As far as I'm concerned, Yokich
- 53:14is the best player in the NBA. There's no argument to that.
- 53:16I think Shy absolutely believes that too.
- 53:19The fact is the NBA has been doing this for a long, long
- 53:22time. This is this is factual.
- 53:24The NBA is not going to give these guys back-to-back to back
- 53:27MVPS because if that was the case, LeBron James should have
- 53:30won five of them in a row. Michael Jordan should have won
- 53:32ten of them in a row. Michael Jordan was by far the
- 53:35best player in the NBA for like 10 or 11 years straight.
- 53:38And if Michael Jordan didn't retire the two years after his
- 53:41father died, he probably wins 7-8, maybe even 9 championships
- 53:45in a row. The guy was unbelievable.
- 53:47The greatest basketball player of all time.
- 53:49Shy Alexander. He kind of is unique on the the
- 53:52game and the way he plays the game.
- 53:54He's a great offensive player. He reminds me a lot like a an
- 53:58offensive Kobe Bryant. The guy can do everything on the
- 54:02basketball court. He could shoot threes.
- 54:03We've seen him shoot fade away threes.
- 54:05The guy is an absolute offensive phenomenon.
- 54:09He's also an unbelievable defender.
- 54:12I I think people forget how good shy is defensively.
- 54:15Kobe Bryant was a great two way player.
- 54:17Michael Jordan was a great two way player.
- 54:19Shy Alexander, when he came into the league, nobody knew how good
- 54:22his offensive game was going to transition there.
- 54:25His game really coming to the NBA and as why he was such a
- 54:28high draft pick was his defensive style of game.
- 54:32And why do you think guys like Calipari actually recruited him?
- 54:36It wasn't because of his offensive side of the game.
- 54:38It was his defensive prowess. And look what he's turned out to
- 54:41be. We've seen players come into the
- 54:43league and transition their games.
- 54:45We mentioned the Spider. When he came into the league, he
- 54:48was a defensive player, Louisville Pitino.
- 54:51Pitino recruited him because of his defensive prowess.
- 54:54When he came into the NBA and he was drafted 13th or 14th, the
- 54:58Knicks wanted him. When he came into the league, he
- 55:00transitioned his game at Utah to an offensive style of game.
- 55:04He kind of took away from the defensive side of the game and
- 55:08transitioned into that style of NBA game that a lot of these
- 55:11players are playing now. Kawhi Leonard when he came into
- 55:14the. But do you think they value
- 55:16defense when they come into the league as much?
- 55:19As middle draft picks. Especially because you're not
- 55:21going to get like of. Course.
- 55:22There's a lot of great shooters in college that are just going
- 55:25to be either undersized or not athletic enough to be in the NBA
- 55:27with defense. It usually requires a lot of
- 55:29athletics. Here's the problem.
- 55:31That's the problem. We mentioned Karl Malone.
- 55:33OK, Karl Malone never played a liquor defense.
- 55:36Anybody watch the Utah Jazz in the olden days?
- 55:39Where any Was anybody a Utah Jazz fan?
- 55:41He never played the mailman. That's why they called him the
- 55:43Mail. Does anybody know why they
- 55:44called him the Mailman? I actually watched Utah because
- 55:47that's where my dad went. Because he delivered.
- 55:50That's right. He delivered and he never
- 55:52delivered a championship. That's what I always said.
- 55:54And John Stockton was one of the greatest point guards of all
- 55:57time, that people. Don't.
- 55:58I was. I was a Jeff.
- 56:00Well, I was. Basically, you get it into him
- 56:02and or Kick It Out to Hornets, yeah.
- 56:05Guess what? I was.
- 56:06I did like Jeff Hornets. I can tell he coached the New
- 56:08York Knicks. Then I couldn't stand him.
- 56:10I couldn't look. I couldn't stand looking at.
- 56:12Him. I had to throw that in.
- 56:14Team too. Look, I agree with Jabba.
- 56:17I think great offense beats great defense in the NBA.
- 56:20Like you can hit a really hard shot over someone playing
- 56:23perfect defense. That happens all the time in the
- 56:26NBA. So I think when they draft,
- 56:28they're always looking for offense first.
- 56:29But defense super duper important in the scheme.
- 56:33Shy Alexander has shot 52% from the field this year and he's a
- 56:38three-point shooter and he shots 37 1/2 from three.
- 56:42But you know how many shots were that close to the rack compared
- 56:45to the average person? Jalen Brunson, who has a great
- 56:49shooting percentage, shoots 48.9.
- 56:52That's how good Alexander was this year shooting the ball.
- 56:55So the reason why you got to give him this award is he just
- 56:58hit every shot. He.
- 57:00Just felt like he would hit every shot.
- 57:02Compare comparatively. Look, a great interior guy is
- 57:06going to shoot like 60%. When was the last time?
- 57:09When was the last time you seen a player get a triple double and
- 57:13not win the MVP? I know.
- 57:15Well, I mean Russell. Westbrook, James Harden, all
- 57:18both those players won the MVP and and by the way, they weren't
- 57:21even the leading scorers of the league when they won the MVP.
- 57:25So don't give me that crap. That's why he deserves it.
- 57:27Don't give that to me. A triple double is.
- 57:29Hard. So here's the thing though.
- 57:31You know the reason why he got it over.
- 57:33Why is that? Isn't just the stats, it's
- 57:36because you always give the MVP to the team on the historic team
- 57:40with the amount of wins disagree. 68 wins disagree
- 57:42compared to 52. You're giving it to the guy on
- 57:46the 68 win team if it's close. And that's how it's been in the
- 57:50NBA forever. They've always done that.
- 57:52So what? So finish what?
- 57:54What does MVP mean then? Well, that's that's the great
- 57:57debate, right Job that's. Why everyone's?
- 57:59The most valuable to your team because like, if it's most
- 58:01valuable team, it's Jokic, because without Jokic, that team
- 58:04wins 20 games. I mean, Porter's washed up, so
- 58:08Murray's good every other game. Russell Westbrook.
- 58:10Won the MVP right? Was his team.
- 58:13Not both seasons that he had. It doesn't matter when he won an
- 58:15MVP. Was his team the best team in
- 58:17the NBA? No.
- 58:18No. Well, I think.
- 58:19It's big. I rest my case.
- 58:21You just said I would have voted.
- 58:23I'm just trying to be the devil's was James Harden, was
- 58:26James Harden? I'm just saying was James
- 58:28Harden? Was he was he on the best team
- 58:31when he won the MVP? No, that's a bunch of crap.
- 58:35A bunch of Chris Paul doesn't go the NBA, the MTA conference
- 58:39finals, screw them all and silver in his big ass buck ass
- 58:43ears. We all know that was the that
- 58:47was better than the Finals that year when it was Chris Paul and
- 58:50James Harden on that Houston team versus that Steph team that
- 58:54was I think Durant was that was that one.
- 58:56Of the Durant Durant's first. Year that that was the really
- 58:59close series and then Chris Paul blew out his hamstring and then
- 59:03it was a walk off right. It was like nothing there and
- 59:05Harden didn't show up. Game seven, it was over.
- 59:07Just. Like every other game.
- 59:08Before that happens, they were even.
- 59:10Man, I think Harden had the ability to win that year if he
- 59:14if Paul stayed healthy. Maybe, but James Harden?
- 59:17Woulda Coulda should, even if he won't be.
- 59:21I'm just saying. I'm tired of hearing this.
- 59:24Alexander Thorpic. Points a game, Sell this 52% to
- 59:27whoever you think doesn't know basketball.
- 59:30That's a bunch of crap. And for you to think for one
- 59:33second Yokich shouldn't have won the MVP just shows you how much
- 59:37you want to lick his ass right Speedy?
- 59:39I'm not licking anyone's ass, but.
- 59:41Ball bag. I will.
- 59:42I will reference the comparison with Russell Westbrook's Triple
- 59:45W that he did win. And.
- 59:47Like Russell Westbrook's Triple W.
- 59:48He just charged. To win.
- 59:49I know people were saying LeBron at the time and they're, I
- 59:52forget who the third candidate was, but people were saying,
- 59:54look, because Russell Westbrook was doing it in a very, I guess
- 59:57inefficient way for an MVP. Joka just do get a hyper
- 1:00:00efficient way for an MVP for an MVP candidate.
- 1:00:02Anyone. That's where I think the voters
- 1:00:06missed it. Now Shy had some very efficient
- 1:00:07sets and Brett Siegel when we had him on the show a month ago.
- 1:00:09Mentioned some of the point guard is.
- 1:00:11Really insane for the amount of volume that he's shooting.
- 1:00:14But Jokic's between the true shooting percentages between the
- 1:00:17efficiency he had with with inside is some of historic
- 1:00:21numbers for for a big man that you hadn't seen probably since
- 1:00:23Bill Russell and and Wilt Chamberlain.
- 1:00:25Like it's crazy the numbers he was putting up and he's
- 1:00:27averaging a triple. Double the fact that anybody
- 1:00:29puts, and I'm saying that Shy Alexander in the same
- 1:00:32conversation as Larry Bird is despicable, OK?
- 1:00:36He is not Larry Bird. And I have one season putting up
- 1:00:39these numbers, and that's fine. I'm not saying that Shy
- 1:00:41Alexander is not great, and he had a great season last year.
- 1:00:44He's a great offensive talent. He's great defensively.
- 1:00:46He wasn't the best player in the league.
- 1:00:49He wasn't. Let me ask you guys a question.
- 1:00:52If Shy doesn't play on OKC, do they make the playoffs?
- 1:00:57Yeah, I think they do. OK, let me ask you this
- 1:00:59question. If Yokich was not playing on the
- 1:01:02Nuggets, do they make the playoffs?
- 1:01:05No, they're a lottery team. They're a lottery team.
- 1:01:08So what, when you look at these kind of things that I'm kind of
- 1:01:11expressing to compare and contrast these players, who
- 1:01:15would you take as your MVP knowing that?
- 1:01:18If it's me. Answer the question.
- 1:01:20Answer the goddamn question. Just spit it out.
- 1:01:23Stop it, fish. What are we?
- 1:01:25What are we trying to catch it with?
- 1:01:26Hulk? Just do you want me to throw the
- 1:01:28worm in the water? I mean, seriously, I don't.
- 1:01:32Think you'll see Speedy's world? You know if.
- 1:01:34It will catch advocate if it will catch it with weeks.
- 1:01:36That said, Jokic should win this over Shy.
- 1:01:38So what is I've said that for weeks.
- 1:01:40Where we going? I'm just trying to tell you why
- 1:01:42he won, because obviously. Because it's the LJ.
- 1:01:45Of the NBA feels differently than us because if it was
- 1:01:48because that's 71 first place votes that went to him so that
- 1:01:5167 would be 2/3. It's more than 2/3 of the league
- 1:01:54that feels that way, and that's why the thing I came up with
- 1:01:57Errol is the shooting percentage and the fact that he was the
- 1:02:00best player on the team with the best record.
- 1:02:02See. You just gave it.
- 1:02:04I had to come up with a reasoning because I couldn't
- 1:02:07find one. That's it.
- 1:02:09I'm trying to find a sports. Show I got to distribute the
- 1:02:11conversation. We can't just agree with each
- 1:02:13other. Here's my reasoning.
- 1:02:15I think the NBA is lame. I think the NBA knows who the
- 1:02:18best player in the league is, and they're really robbing the
- 1:02:21best player in the league for an award that he should have won
- 1:02:24every single year for the last past 5-6 years.
- 1:02:27It's. Dispensable but that's exactly
- 1:02:29what we were talking about and and speedy said the same thing
- 1:02:32that's in every sport. What does MVP mean most value
- 1:02:36because as as as we just stated in what we agree on in fish
- 1:02:41being the devil's advocate because we we don't talk about
- 1:02:45stuff we all agree on there there has to be some some.
- 1:02:48Prologue. I don't want it to be similar, I
- 1:02:51understand. No, not at all.
- 1:02:52But it comes down to exactly what does that truly, genuinely.
- 1:02:57Mean I'm going to tell you. But but as we said, without
- 1:03:02Joker, they're not. They're a lottery pick.
- 1:03:05They're not. They're not even in the playoffs
- 1:03:07shy. They probably get it.
- 1:03:08They still probably get 60 to 62.
- 1:03:11Wins probably. I don't know about 6062.
- 1:03:13I think they win about 4543 somewhere around there.
- 1:03:16They have a good team. They have a very good roster.
- 1:03:18Harnstein is a good big man. We've seen how good he's played
- 1:03:21for them. He's been a real really big
- 1:03:24anchor and one of the best offseason acquisitions
- 1:03:28throughout the league. I will say what MVP should be
- 1:03:31called. It should be called MVC Most
- 1:03:34valuable Chump. That's what it should be called
- 1:03:37because that's what the NBA is selling to us.
- 1:03:40Us as fans being chumps, that's where we are.
- 1:03:44We are chumps. We actually have to sit here and
- 1:03:46argue and believe it. I'm a chump.
- 1:03:49Screw you out of Silver, LJA. Go to hell, LeBron James, you
- 1:03:54idiot. Go to hell.
- 1:03:56Our Lakers, Luca Doncic and all you body bastards.
- 1:04:02What a. Crap, top five awards look a lot
- 1:04:06different. Obviously, LeBron will give the
- 1:04:07MVP to himself, his sons, number two, number three Nico harrisons
- 1:04:13#4 and no Clue and Kyrie Irving #5 I'm.
- 1:04:17Tired I'm tired. I argue this all the time
- 1:04:21because this is what the NBA does to me.
- 1:04:23I want to believe that the NBA has a reasoning behind
- 1:04:26something, but the only reasoning that comes to my head
- 1:04:28every single day that I think about it is LeBron freaking
- 1:04:31jams. He goes to his Barber shops.
- 1:04:33He invites all his sickos and I mean sickos you.
- 1:04:37Anybody that knows what I'm talking about, the P diddy's of
- 1:04:39the world and the you know. Easy, I'm.
- 1:04:43Just telling the truth here. I have.
- 1:04:45We've seen him hang out in the Barber shop, as we all know, and
- 1:04:49they like to talk about things on on camera, but after the
- 1:04:51camera they're talking about something else.
- 1:04:54That's all I'm. Going to say about that in the
- 1:04:55Illuminati era, I don't. Know what they're into?
- 1:04:58I don't want to even say what I really think they're into.
- 1:05:00Anyways, thank you to all the fans on social media, all of
