- 0:15days a year. We hope you enjoy this message. A German walks into
- 0:25a McDonald's in the United States. After waiting in line, he finally gets
- 0:30to the counter and he orders a pint of beer, because you can get
- 0:34beer at McDonald's in Germany. An American customer overhears the man's order and he
- 0:41approaches the German Man and says, how can you be so stupid you can't
- 0:46order a beer here? While laughing at the German Man right in his face.
- 0:53The German Man thinks for a second, and then he starts laughing uncontrollably.
- 1:00Us any laugh. This is a laugh so intense that he's struggling not
- 1:03to fall over. The American customer, no longer laughing, is curious.
- 1:11He just now has a puzzled face, and he asked the German Man what
- 1:18is so funny. The German Man looks at him and responds, I just
- 1:23realized that you came in here for the food. We live in an imperfect
- 1:42world. There is so much change that can and should happen to make this
- 1:48world a better place? Is it idealistic to want to make these changes?
- 1:55Is it even possible to change the world. We will talk about this and
- 1:59this week's episode of Positively three sixty five, But first we have our trivia
- 2:04question of the day. Are you ready for it? Here? It is
- 2:08which battle in the American Civil War had the most casualties in any single day
- 2:15of fighting. We will have the answer when we come back. Do you

- 3:29know the answer to this week's trivia question? The question was which American Civil
- 3:36War battle had the most casualties in any single day of fighting. The answer
- 3:44the Battle of Antietam, which was fought on September seventeenth, eighteen sixty two.
- 3:52It had twenty two thousand, seven hundred and twenty six casualties in a
- 3:58single day. Now you know, Transforming the world begins with a fundamental shift
- 4:12within ourselves. When we focus on our personal growth, cultivating empathy, and
- 4:19embracing a mindset of positive change, we inherently contribute to a better world.
- 4:27By refining our values, choices, and interactions, we set an example for
- 4:31others, creating a ripple effect of inspiration and transformation. Changing ourselves serves as
- 4:40a catalyst for a broader societal shift, as the collective impact of individual growth
- 4:46can reshape communities and beyond. It's a profound acknowledgment that the world reflects our
- 4:53collective consciousness, So, rather than merely aspiring to change the external, the
- 5:00emphasis on the personal evolution recognizes the interconnected nature of humanity, encouraging a more
- 5:08compassionate and enlightened global landscape. In changing ourselves, we become active participants in
- 5:15the ongoing transformative narrative of our shared human experience. Change the world begins with
- 5:27changing ourselves. The poet Rumi once made a profound observation which applies to our
- 5:40topic today. He said, yesterday, I was clever, so I wanted
- 5:46to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
