- 0:00Speaker 1: Time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks, and Rich
- 0:04Speaker 1: has life hacks. I have stacks of information, and it's
- 0:07Speaker 1: usually stacks of stuff I can't get to, so we
- 0:09Speaker 1: just made this segment, Stacks and Hacks. A designer has
- 0:13Speaker 1: created a summer Hawaiian shirt. Have you guys heard about
- 0:16Speaker 1: this or read about this yet?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Wouldn't all Hawaiian shirts kind of be summer?
- 0:20Speaker 3: No, in Hawaii, they wear them all year long.
- 0:21Speaker 1: But it's a Hawaiian summer shirt, but it has this
- 0:25Speaker 1: weird pattern, a very abstract pattern that works as camouflage for...
- 0:29Speaker 1: for AI-powered surveillance cameras.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Oh, now that's cool.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So they can't see you, which would ruin lots of
- 0:35Speaker 1: fun TV shows.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Wow.
- 0:36Speaker 1: When they try to find you on CCTV, like if
- 0:39Speaker 1: you're on Reacher. So that'd be kind of cool.
- 0:40Speaker 4: So is it like a green screen? So like your
- 0:42Speaker 4: head would just be floating? That's what I was thinking,
- 0:44Speaker 4: just like a head.
- 0:45Speaker 3: They can't recognize you.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Facial recognition.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Oh, maybe it like, maybe it projects like a flash
- 0:50Speaker 2: of light.
- 0:50Speaker 4: On your face so you can't see it. Like those
- 0:52Speaker 4: license plates.
- 0:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Every time I see people rolling around those, I'm like.
- 0:56Speaker 4: You don't know how to have that. I know.
- 0:59Speaker 3: You guys know that Mylanta, that brand Mylanta? Yeah. Like
- 1:02Speaker 3: people would say, oh, Mylanta.
- 1:04Speaker 5: What is that?
- 1:04Speaker 1: Mylanta.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's a stomach thing like Pepto-Bismol.
- 1:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 1: They launched two limited edition fall harvest liquid anti-acids, pumpkin
- 1:11Speaker 1: spice and spiced apple cider.
- 1:13Speaker 3: They're on Amazon now.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Now all I got to do is get hot honey
- 1:15Speaker 5: and they're on all the trends.
- 1:16Speaker 6: I'm like shocked. I thought Oh Mylanta was like, oh
- 1:19Speaker 6: my gosh.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Like Oh Mylanta.
- 1:20Speaker 5: No, it is.
- 1:21Speaker 2: But people just started saying that because Mylanta is like,
- 1:24Speaker 2: oh my, oh my, Oh Mylanta.
- 1:27Speaker 3: All right, so when it comes to boob news, I
- 1:29Speaker 3: have boob news.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:31Speaker 3: A new study reveals that symmetry, what does symmetry mean, Kyle?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Symmetry means they're both the same on each side.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Okay, a new study reveals that symmetry may matter more
- 1:39Speaker 1: than size when it comes to boob appeal.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Boob appeal. Researchers, I would have loved to have been
- 1:44Speaker 3: part of that study.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Researchers found that people prefer a centrally located nipple.
- 1:49Speaker 6: No, that's so valid.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Wait a minute.
- 1:52Speaker 3: What?
- 1:54Speaker 4: What, Payton?
- 1:55Speaker 5: That was so valid.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Okay, so when I first started to get boobs and
- 1:59Speaker 6: I was getting older in high school, in high school,
- 2:01Speaker 6: I had an A cup, and then the other one
- 2:04Speaker 6: was like a CB cup, so it was very lopsided,
- 2:07Speaker 6: and I was very insecure about it, to the point
- 2:09Speaker 6: where my mom promised me that if they didn't even
- 2:11Speaker 6: out by the time I turned 18, she would.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Pay for a boob job. That's so nice of her.
- 2:15Speaker 6: I know, and you could imagine how mad I was
- 2:17Speaker 6: when they caught.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Up to each other.
- 2:19Speaker 4: You were like, aww.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I was like, aww. So when you get fake ones,
- 2:24Speaker 3: you can pick where you want everything?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure.
- 2:26Speaker 5: That's a Kyle question. I don't think you can.
- 2:30Speaker 4: I mean, I guess, I think the changing of the
- 2:32Speaker 4: nipple would be a different surgery.
- 2:33Speaker 5: We don't know. You have the boobies.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I didn't have that one. They just inserted implants.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And they look great. Well done.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Thank you, Tanya.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Thank you. Well done, yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 5: If I could stand up, I'd give you a standing up.
- 2:47Speaker 1: A woman on TikTok claims that her stomach got super
- 2:50Speaker 1: messed up by ground-up coffee because of what was in
- 2:53Speaker 1: the coffee.
- 2:55Speaker 4: What was in the coffee?
- 2:56Speaker 7: Cockroaches love coffee. There's a 100% chance that if you're
- 2:59Speaker 7: drinking ground-up coffee, you're probably drinking ground-up cockroaches, too. And
- 3:03Speaker 7: I just recently went to the doctor, and they couldn't
- 3:05Speaker 7: figure out what was wrong with my GI tract. They
- 3:07Speaker 7: thought I had Crohn's disease, a gluten allergy, high, low
- 3:10Speaker 7: blood pressure, you name it. They also did allergy tests,
- 3:13Speaker 7: but do you know what they didn't test for?
- 3:14Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 3:14Speaker 7: The ingredient coccineal, which is literally ground up bugs. And
- 3:18Speaker 7: it's not only in your coffee, it's also in a
- 3:20Speaker 7: lot of processed foods. So then I had to go
- 3:22Speaker 7: and get a special test for that and come to
- 3:24Speaker 7: find out that's exactly what I've been allergic to this
- 3:26Speaker 7: entire time. And then the doctor laughs like, oh, a
- 3:28Speaker 7: little protein never hurt nobody.
- 3:30Speaker 5: But in your case, it is hurting you.
- 3:32Speaker 4: We're not going to be.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Laughing about that.
- 3:34Speaker 6: That reminds me of like when there was like the
- 3:37Speaker 6: rumor that there was like that poo in deodorant in Doritos.
- 3:43Speaker 5: You guys heard that? What?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Have not heard that story.
- 3:47Speaker 5: That's horrifying as well.
- 3:48Speaker 6: Uh-huh, I know.
- 3:50Speaker 3: That seems like a lie to break down, attack the
- 3:53Speaker 3: Dorito company.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I'm like, I still eat them.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Okay, so do you guys ever do this?
- 3:58Speaker 1: I do this every once in a while. Like sometimes
- 4:00Speaker 1: if you're looking up at a star, you go, I
- 4:01Speaker 1: wonder who else is looking at this star? Or do
- 4:04Speaker 1: you ever think of something and you think?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, do you think of something? What, like Fievel?
- 4:08Speaker 4: No, Alex Warren has a song in his new album
- 4:10Speaker 4: called Same Stars.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 4:11Speaker 4: It's kind of along that line.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But do you ever think, like sometimes I go, I'll
- 4:14Speaker 1: think of something, I go, I'm the only person in
- 4:16Speaker 1: the world thinking this right now.
- 4:17Speaker 5: But I don't know if that's true or not. Well,
- 4:18Speaker 5: that probably is in your case, John Jay.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Well, according to an estimate, every time you hit the
- 4:22Speaker 1: space bar when you're typing, 600,000 people are doing it
- 4:26Speaker 1: at the exact same time around the world.
- 4:27Speaker 5: That's fun.
- 4:28Speaker 4: That just feels like good camaraderie.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of cool. You're all typing.
- 4:30Speaker 5: We're the same.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Look at all of us hitting that space bar.
- 4:33Speaker 1: A new poll on grilling since Labor Day weekend is
- 4:35Speaker 1: coming up, it included food that each state is known
- 4:38Speaker 1: for grilling. For example, in Alaska- Most people are grilling
- 4:43Speaker 1: moose burgers. Grilled salmon and halibut. In Florida, it's gator.
- 4:48Speaker 1: In South Dakota, grilled peasant. Wyoming, people grill bison. Montana,
- 4:53Speaker 1: elk steak. In Maine, they grill fiddleheads.
- 4:57Speaker 5: What are fiddleheads?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Fiddleheads are young, curled shoots of certain ferns. I don't
- 5:03Speaker 3: know what ferns are.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Like the plant?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess so. New Mexico, roasted green chilies. Delaware,
- 5:09Speaker 1: blue crabs. In Hawaii, it's chicken and Cali ribs.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I've had that. It's great. In Colorado, Rocky Mountain oysters.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Those are bull testicles. Yep. Yep. What do you got
- 5:22Speaker 3: for life hacks, Rich?
- 5:23Speaker 5: Well, John Jay, you're the most complicated get ready for better,
- 5:25Speaker 5: I would say, amongst us. Like, Kyle, do you do
- 5:28Speaker 5: anything to make your sleep better before you go to
- 5:30Speaker 5: sleep or are you just tired and you go to bed?
- 5:32Speaker 4: Oh, I'm just tired and go to bed.
- 5:33Speaker 5: I figured as much. What about you, Peyton? Do you
- 5:35Speaker 5: do anything to get yourself ready?
- 5:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I have a little wind down.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Moment.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Okay, well, John Jay, can I just get a list
- 5:40Speaker 5: of the things that you have to make yourself sleep?
- 5:43Speaker 5: And I'm going to add one to your list.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I do the CPAP, a breathing machine. I do a
- 5:46Speaker 3: mouth guard. I do earplugs.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I wear a mask underneath my CPAP. I take a
- 5:52Speaker 1: bunch of multivitamins and sleep aids to go to sleep.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Did you talk about your oxygen tank?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Oh, I have an oxygen tank.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Not described.
- 5:59Speaker 4: What about the underwear over your head?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Well, no, I have a mask now that I have,
- 6:03Speaker 1: which I need a new one. It's a new thin mask. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 1: those are just some of the things I do.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Okay, we'll add this to your list because scientists now
- 6:08Speaker 5: say that there is some actual definite science between warm
- 6:13Speaker 5: feet at bedtime. But that doesn't mean you should wear
- 6:15Speaker 5: both socks. It means you should wear one sock to
- 6:18Speaker 5: bed because one of them helps your body release heat
- 6:21Speaker 5: in the other one. helps your body stay warm. And
- 6:24Speaker 5: that process really shuts down your brain and can help
- 6:27Speaker 5: you sleep. So if you are having problems getting to sleep,
- 6:31Speaker 5: you can follow all of John Jay's tricks or just
- 6:33Speaker 5: try one sock.
- 6:34Speaker 2: No, that's so accurate because my husband keeps the room
- 6:37Speaker 2: really cold at night. So I sleep with like a
- 6:39Speaker 2: heated blanket and it warms my feet up and I
- 6:42Speaker 2: fall asleep so fast. But I washed my heated blanket recently.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And so I've just been too lazy to put it
- 6:48Speaker 2: back on. And I feel like it takes me longer
- 6:50Speaker 2: to fall asleep without it.
- 6:52Speaker 3: There you go.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Throw in a sock, Kyle.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Try it tonight. Bad Life Hack and many more at johnjainrich.com.
