Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When I first started covering Jeffrey Epstein about
• 0:07
Speaker 1: six years ago, the news was coming in so hot
• 0:10
Speaker 1: and heavy that it was hard to keep up. And
• 0:12
Speaker 1: that's what led me to creating the morning updates where
• 0:16
Speaker 1: we talked about all the headlines from overnight and bleeding
• 0:19
Speaker 1: into the morning. And now that the news is coming
• 0:23
Speaker 1: so hot and heavy again, we're going to kick that
• 0:25
Speaker 1: back into gear. So here's what it is. Every morning,
• 0:30
Speaker 1: before the narratives are sculpted and the talking points distributed,
• 0:34
Speaker 1: we'll be right here breaking down the headlines that surfaced overnight,
• 0:37
Speaker 1: tracking what moved in the dark, and laying out exactly
• 0:40
Speaker 1: what matters heading into the day. Because when it comes
• 0:43
Speaker 1: to Epstein and Maxwell, silence isn't stillness, the story never sleeps.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: Deals are struck at midnight, documents get quietly unsealed at 6am,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: new names surface when no one's looking, And while the
• 0:56
Speaker 1: media tries to decide what's worth covering, we already know
• 1:00
Speaker 1: it all is. The Morning Update's about catching what they
• 1:03
Speaker 1: hope that you miss. It's about starting the day with clarity,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: because in a case this deep, timing is everything, and
• 1:10
Speaker 1: misdirection is baked into the playbook. So if you're looking
• 1:14
Speaker 1: for the full picture, unfiltered and unafraid, this is it.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: This is The Morning Update. So, let's get to it.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: The first article we're going to talk about is one
• 1:26
Speaker 1: from Reuters and it has to do with Vice President
• 1:29
Speaker 1: Vance and the meeting that he allegedly was putting together
• 1:33
Speaker 1: to deal with the Epstein fallout and how that meeting
• 1:36
Speaker 1: was allegedly cancelled. And according to Vice President Vance, there
• 1:41
Speaker 1: was no meeting on the books and it was all
• 1:44
Speaker 1: just made up by the media. And look, while there's
• 1:47
Speaker 1: no doubt that the media does play games, that the
• 1:50
Speaker 1: media does make shit up, I'm not sure if I
• 1:53
Speaker 1: believe that there wasn't some kind of crisis meeting planned
• 1:56
Speaker 1: when it comes to the fallout, considering the damage it's
• 1:59
Speaker 1: done to Trump's base. You would think that they'd want
• 2:02
Speaker 1: to get together and get their minds around it and
• 2:04
Speaker 1: figure out a plan on how to tackle this and
• 2:06
Speaker 1: deal with it. But according to Vice President Vance, the
• 2:10
Speaker 1: meeting was never planned and obviously didn't happen. This article
• 2:15
Speaker 1: was authored by Nandita Bose. a dinner for senior administration
• 2:23
Speaker 1: officials at Vice President J.D. Vance residence to discuss topics
• 2:27
Speaker 1: including the Trump administration's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case
• 2:31
Speaker 1: has been canceled after news of it leaked, a source
• 2:34
Speaker 1: familiar with the matter said. So what it comes down
• 2:37
Speaker 1: to is, was the meeting ever even planned? Or was
• 2:41
Speaker 1: it something that was cooked up by the media? And
• 2:44
Speaker 1: usually I give them the benefit of the doubt, meaning
• 2:47
Speaker 1: the administration, but the way they've handled this, I don't
• 2:50
Speaker 1: think they've earned the benefit of the doubt. So my
• 2:53
Speaker 1: guess is they probably had this meeting planned and then
• 2:56
Speaker 1: once it leaked, they decided to change things up because
• 2:59
Speaker 1: they knew the optics would be bad. I mean, why
• 3:02
Speaker 1: are you having high-level crisis meetings about a topic that
• 3:05
Speaker 1: is a hoax? About a topic that doesn't matter? About
• 3:08
Speaker 1: a topic that we should all just move on from?
• 3:11
Speaker 1: I mean, that's what the administration told us. So why
• 3:14
Speaker 1: bother with all this other stuff? Ghislaine Maxwell getting moved.
• 3:18
Speaker 1: Sitting down with her, talking, trying to get the grand
• 3:20
Speaker 1: jury documents. Seems like a whole lot of extra work
• 3:23
Speaker 1: for a case that's closed with no evidence, right? And again,
• 3:27
Speaker 1: that's what they told us. A spokesman for Vance said
• 3:30
Speaker 1: the dinner first reported by CNN had not been planned.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: There was never a supposed meeting scheduled at Vice President's
• 3:39
Speaker 1: residence to discuss Epstein's strategy, said Vance spokesman William Martin. Well,
• 3:44
Speaker 1: if there wasn't, maybe there should have been. Considering how
• 3:48
Speaker 1: terribly they're handling this, maybe they need to have some
• 3:50
Speaker 1: kind of meeting where they come together and figure it out.
• 3:53
Speaker 1: Because what they're doing right now? Not working out very
• 3:56
Speaker 1: well for anybody involved. Unless, of course, you're Epstein's co-conspirators.
• 4:01
Speaker 1: Or Glenn Maxwell. The Trump administration has struggled for weeks
• 4:05
Speaker 1: to mitigate the political fallout from the Epstein investigation amid
• 4:09
Speaker 1: public pressure for more transparency over its handling of files
• 4:14
Speaker 1: related to convicted sex offenders' case. President Donald Trump had
• 4:19
Speaker 1: promised to make public files related to the disgraced financier's
• 4:22
Speaker 1: case if re-elected in July. However, the Justice Department said
• 4:27
Speaker 1: a previously touted Epstein client list did not exist, angering
• 4:32
Speaker 1: Trump supporters who have called for additional details to be released.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: You know what's so funny about the way they frame it?
• 4:38
Speaker 1: They act like it's just Trump supporters. But from what
• 4:42
Speaker 1: I'm seeing, a lot of people on the left and
• 4:44
Speaker 1: a lot of independents, they're pissed off too. So why
• 4:48
Speaker 1: just try and frame it like it's Trump supporters who
• 4:50
Speaker 1: are mad? I think this is anger across the board.
• 4:54
Speaker 1: And that's because no matter what your political lean is,
• 4:57
Speaker 1: you should be disgusted by what went on here. You
• 4:59
Speaker 1: should be disgusted by everything that's happened since. All right,
• 5:04
Speaker 1: we're going to move on to the next article. And
• 5:06
Speaker 1: this article is from NBC News. Headline, Congress doesn't want
• 5:12
Speaker 1: to talk to Alex Acosta, Epstein's sweetheart dealmaker. Well, no
• 5:16
Speaker 1: shit they don't want to talk to Acosta. They're not
• 5:18
Speaker 1: trying to get to the bottom of this. If they
• 5:21
Speaker 1: were talking about the NPA like they say they are,
• 5:24
Speaker 1: then they'd be bringing in Mukasey. They'd be bringing in Philippe.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: They'd be bringing in Villafana. They'd be bringing in Lily Sanchez.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: They'd be bringing in Menchel. Instead, you're calling in Robert Mueller?
• 5:36
Speaker 1: For what? What it seems like is petty political retribution.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: And even if it's not, that's what the optics tell us.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: And when we're talking about politics at this level, the
• 5:47
Speaker 1: optics mean everything. But if you're serious about an investigation,
• 5:51
Speaker 1: as far as the NPA goes, don't you think that
• 5:54
Speaker 1: Alex Acosta is somebody you'd want to talk to? Don't
• 5:57
Speaker 1: you think the other people that I just mentioned should
• 5:59
Speaker 1: be called in front of this committee? Probably a good idea.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Tom Winter, Laura Strickler, Ryan Nobles,
• 6:07
Speaker 1: Chelsea Damberg, and Lexi Rudolph. The House Committee on Oversight
• 6:12
Speaker 1: and Government Reform on Tuesday listed former Attorney Generals, a
• 6:16
Speaker 1: former FBI Director, former President Bill Clinton, and former Secretary
• 6:21
Speaker 1: of State Hillary Clinton as people all subject to subpoenas
• 6:25
Speaker 1: for matters tied to Jeffrey Epstein. However, not named in
• 6:29
Speaker 1: the news release was Alex Acosta, who was the U.S.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, whose secret, non-prosecution
• 6:36
Speaker 1: agreement with Epstein created a spark that has turned into
• 6:40
Speaker 1: an inferno of controversy nearly 20 years later. They're still
• 6:44
Speaker 1: trying to set it up like Alex Acosta is the
• 6:46
Speaker 1: one who made the deal. And they're wrong. Acosta didn't
• 6:50
Speaker 1: make the deal. He facilitated it. He was the one
• 6:54
Speaker 1: that was on the ground. He was the one, you know,
• 6:56
Speaker 1: maybe directing things. But if you think that the directive
• 7:00
Speaker 1: came from him, you are absolutely insane. There's a whole
• 7:03
Speaker 1: lot of people that have no idea how the bureaucracy
• 7:06
Speaker 1: of government works, obviously, because a decision like that isn't
• 7:10
Speaker 1: being made by some middleman prosecutor. down in Florida. Not
• 7:15
Speaker 1: when Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers are good friends with the Attorney
• 7:19
Speaker 1: General and the other brass at the DOJ. And like
• 7:22
Speaker 1: I've said before, if they really want to get down
• 7:24
Speaker 1: to the bottom of what happened, all they have to
• 7:26
Speaker 1: do is release the full and unredacted OIG report. Let's
• 7:32
Speaker 1: get to the bottom of it. Let's see what's what.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Because there's no way in hell that the people involved
• 7:37
Speaker 1: in that NPA becoming a reality shouldn't be punished for it.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: But unfortunately, the OIG report just said they were negligent,
• 7:45
Speaker 1: just said they made some bad decisions. Imagine being in
• 7:49
Speaker 1: a position like these people were in, and you fuck
• 7:52
Speaker 1: up this bad, and your boss is like, ah, no
• 7:54
Speaker 1: big deal, you just made a mistake. In the real world,
• 7:58
Speaker 1: that costs you your job, right? That costs you your life.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: But when you work for the government, you just get
• 8:04
Speaker 1: a little slap on the wrist, and you end up
• 8:06
Speaker 1: getting promoted. Either that, or you leave the Department of
• 8:10
Speaker 1: Justice right in the middle of the Epstein case, to
• 8:13
Speaker 1: go and work for Epstein, like Lillian Sanchez did. So look,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: there's no doubt that Acosta played his part. The dude's
• 8:20
Speaker 1: a coward, has no spine, and refused to stand up
• 8:23
Speaker 1: for what was right. But to try and pin the
• 8:25
Speaker 1: whole last thing on him, that's giving the brass at
• 8:28
Speaker 1: the DOJ an out. That's giving them cover, and they
• 8:31
Speaker 1: don't deserve that. Acosta also was President Donald Trump's Labor
• 8:37
Speaker 1: Secretary during his first term. Acosta left the role in
• 8:42
Speaker 1: 2019 after he faced scrutiny over the Epstein plea agreement.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: Survivors of Epstein's sexual abuse are unhappy that Acosta was
• 8:50
Speaker 1: not among those subpoenaed. How can any genuine investigation into
• 8:54
Speaker 1: the federal government's sweetheart deal with Epstein, including the extraordinary
• 8:58
Speaker 1: grant of blanket immunity to all of his named and
• 9:01
Speaker 1: unnamed co-conspirators, omit Alex Acosta? Epstein victim attorney Jack Scarola
• 9:06
Speaker 1: asked in a statement to NBC News, Brittany Henderson, another
• 9:11
Speaker 1: Epstein survivor attorney said, anyone familiar with the history of
• 9:15
Speaker 1: litigation related to Jeffrey Epstein knows that from our decade-long
• 9:20
Speaker 1: fight to enforce the Crimes Victims Rights Act, that Alex
• 9:23
Speaker 1: Acosta is an important person to subpoena in any quest
• 9:26
Speaker 1: for the truth. And like I said in the previous episode,
• 9:29
Speaker 1: there's no doubt that Alex Acosta should be brought in
• 9:32
Speaker 1: and talked to. But he was just a foot soldier
• 9:34
Speaker 1: following directions. People need to understand that. This wasn't some
• 9:38
Speaker 1: localized situation. We're talking about a guy with so much
• 9:43
Speaker 1: power that his lawyers were able to reach out to
• 9:45
Speaker 1: the DOJ, the brass at the DOJ, and get this
• 9:49
Speaker 1: kicked down to a state charge. That's really what it
• 9:52
Speaker 1: comes down to. Once you get around all the bullshit,
• 9:55
Speaker 1: all the gaslighting, all the narratives, that's what it is.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: The federal government punted the ball to the state of
• 10:00
Speaker 1: Florida when they could have put Epstein behind bars forever.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: And the people who chose not to do that were
• 10:06
Speaker 1: Alex Acosta's bosses. Relatives of Virginia Roberts, one of the
• 10:12
Speaker 1: survivors of Epstein's abuse who died by suicide this year,
• 10:15
Speaker 1: reiterated Wednesday that the victims should be consulted and heard first.
• 10:20
Speaker 1: Asked by NBC News why Acosta was not subpoenaed, a
• 10:23
Speaker 1: committee spokesman said by text message, in a voice vote,
• 10:26
Speaker 1: both Republicans and Democrats on the Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee
• 10:30
Speaker 1: in July approved a motion offered by Representative Scott Perry
• 10:34
Speaker 1: by unanimous consent directing the chairman to issue targeted subpoenas
• 10:39
Speaker 1: to Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Erica Holder,
• 10:44
Speaker 1: Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzalez.
• 10:49
Speaker 1: Chairman Comer has now issued the subpoenas. What do they
• 10:53
Speaker 1: think they're going to accomplish with that, though? It's just
• 10:56
Speaker 1: more BS. It looks like political targeting. It looks like
• 10:59
Speaker 1: you're picking people out because you want to go after
• 11:02
Speaker 1: them for whatever political reason. A lot of these people
• 11:05
Speaker 1: have nothing to do with the story, at least not
• 11:08
Speaker 1: in a capacity where it's going to move the needle.
• 11:11
Speaker 1: Why not call on Tova Noel? Why not call on
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Michael Thomas? You know, the two guards that were in
• 11:16
Speaker 1: the jail when Jeffrey Epstein died? Probably a good idea, yeah?
• 11:20
Speaker 1: How about Nicholas D'Artaglione? Let's talk to him. Call him
• 11:24
Speaker 1: in front of Congress, since we're calling convicts down now.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: Might as well have him come and talk. Representative James
• 11:31
Speaker 1: Comer is the committee's chairman. Public records show that Gonzalez
• 11:35
Speaker 1: was Acosta's boss at the time the agreement was reached.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Records also show it was Acosta who first made the
• 11:41
Speaker 1: decision to pursue what many legal analysts have called a
• 11:44
Speaker 1: sweetheart deal to agree not to prosecute Epstein. That is
• 11:48
Speaker 1: just incorrect. 100% incorrect. And that's the narrative they've been
• 11:53
Speaker 1: pushing for a very long time, and I don't know why.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: A Justice Department Office of Professional Responsibility investigation into the
• 12:01
Speaker 1: Epstein non-prosecution agreement, which led to a 348-page report in
• 12:06
Speaker 1: November of 2020, says it was Acosta who made the
• 12:09
Speaker 1: pivotal decision to resolve the federal investigation of Epstein through
• 12:13
Speaker 1: a state-based plea. and either developed or approved the terms
• 12:17
Speaker 1: of the initial offer to the defense that set the
• 12:20
Speaker 1: beginning point for the subsequent negotiations that led to the NPA.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: That led to the NPA. That led to the NPA.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: In other words, Acosta wasn't the one who signed off
• 12:31
Speaker 1: on it. He was the middleman who facilitated the deal.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: You know, like the dude who hooks you up with
• 12:36
Speaker 1: a bag of blow? Yeah, that guy. Same kind of deal.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: He's the middleman. He's the one that you talk to, right?
• 12:45
Speaker 1: But he's not the one making the final decision on
• 12:47
Speaker 1: the price of the bag. The report says Acosta's top
• 12:52
Speaker 1: lieutenants went around the federal prosecutor investigating the case, the FBI,
• 12:56
Speaker 1: and the victims by making an offer to abstain the
• 12:59
Speaker 1: plea to state charges. The prosecutor at the time, Marie Villafana,
• 13:03
Speaker 1: was denied a meeting with Acosta by her immediate supervisors
• 13:06
Speaker 1: to explain her position and the strength of the case.
• 13:10
Speaker 1: She expressed her concerns and frustrations in an email to
• 13:14
Speaker 1: her supervisor at the time, Matt Menchel, who was dating
• 13:18
Speaker 1: Lillian Sanchez, by the way, who left the DOJ and
• 13:21
Speaker 1: went to work for Jeffrey Epstein. In the middle of
• 13:23
Speaker 1: all of this, by the way. Yeah, nothing to see here.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: Probably something you might want to talk about in your
• 13:28
Speaker 1: article though, right? NBC News. About why the indictment was
• 13:32
Speaker 1: brought and why decisions were being made about a plea deal,
• 13:36
Speaker 1: even after she says the U.S. Attorney's Office reassured her
• 13:39
Speaker 1: It would not cave into Epstein's attorneys, the report says.
• 13:43
Speaker 1: Acosta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
• 13:48
Speaker 1: Not one mention of Mukasey. Not one mention of Philippe.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: And instead, you want to talk about Alberto Gonzalez? Alberto
• 13:57
Speaker 1: Gonzalez had nothing to do with the plea deal. He
• 14:00
Speaker 1: came in after the plea deal was already set in motion.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: The plea deal was set in motion by Mukasey and Philippe.
• 14:07
Speaker 1: And frankly, that's not even debatable. So it's pretty interesting
• 14:11
Speaker 1: that a committee that supposedly cares about the truth is
• 14:15
Speaker 1: not even going to hear from the people who are
• 14:17
Speaker 1: really making the decisions. Instead, we're going to hear from
• 14:20
Speaker 1: a bunch of people that don't have any idea what
• 14:22
Speaker 1: they're talking about. Now, don't get me wrong. The Clintons,
• 14:26
Speaker 1: they definitely know a lot about Epstein, but not about
• 14:28
Speaker 1: the non-prosecution agreement. And if that's what this is about,
• 14:32
Speaker 1: like they say it is, then I would think that
• 14:34
Speaker 1: it would be targeted, right? To focus on what's going
• 14:37
Speaker 1: on with the NPA. So what do the Clintons have
• 14:40
Speaker 1: to do with the NPA? I have no idea. So
• 14:43
Speaker 1: we'll see what comes of it and we'll see if
• 14:45
Speaker 1: they add anybody else to the roster. But as of now,
• 14:48
Speaker 1: it sure does look like political theater. All right, moving
• 14:51
Speaker 1: on to our third and final article for the morning update. Headline,
• 14:56
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell's Texas club fed prison. Up security after taking
• 15:01
Speaker 1: in the Epstein sex trafficker. Oh yeah, you know, there's
• 15:04
Speaker 1: a bunch of death threats to Glenn Maxwell now. So
• 15:06
Speaker 1: let's beef up security and spend a bunch of tax dollars.
• 15:09
Speaker 1: Sounds like a great idea. This article was published by
• 15:13
Speaker 1: The Independent. The author of this article, Rachel Dobkin. Ghislaine
• 15:21
Speaker 1: Maxwell's Texas prison, Dub Club Fed, has reportedly upped security
• 15:25
Speaker 1: after taking in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficker. Maxwell, a
• 15:30
Speaker 1: disgraced British socialite who was a close associate of Epstein
• 15:33
Speaker 1: for years, co-conspirator, fellow child abuser, all-around scumbag, and Bipedal Serpent,
• 15:41
Speaker 1: is serving a 20-year sentence for her part in a
• 15:43
Speaker 1: scheme to sexually exploit and abuse minor girls with a
• 15:47
Speaker 1: wealthy financier. You mean pedophile. Epstein, who pleaded guilty to
• 15:52
Speaker 1: state sex offenses in 2008, died in jail in 2019
• 15:56
Speaker 1: while facing federal sex trafficking charges. Maxwell was recently moved
• 16:01
Speaker 1: from a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida to a minimum
• 16:04
Speaker 1: security prison in Southeast Texas in call federal prison Camp Brian.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: FPC Brian has increased security measures in response to Maxwell's transfer,
• 16:15
Speaker 1: NBC News reported on Wednesday, citing senior law enforcement officials.
• 16:20
Speaker 1: Two prison employees told the outlet, members of the Federal
• 16:24
Speaker 1: Bureau of Prison Special Operations response team have been positioned
• 16:28
Speaker 1: outside FPC's Brian front entrance since the weekend. The special
• 16:32
Speaker 1: ops crew is there to check people's IDs and wave
• 16:35
Speaker 1: them through. the employees reportedly said, all because Ghislaine Maxwell
• 16:40
Speaker 1: had to be moved. She was already in a secure facility,
• 16:44
Speaker 1: but sure, let's waste more tax dollars by having extra
• 16:47
Speaker 1: security at the front gate of this little posh prison
• 16:51
Speaker 1: camp that your buddy Ghislaine's in. But don't worry everyone,
• 16:54
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's not getting any kind of special accommodation. This
• 16:58
Speaker 1: is all standard procedure, at least according to the DOJ. Meanwhile,
• 17:02
Speaker 1: the rest of us feel like we're on a mescaline trip.
• 17:05
Speaker 1: How could this even be possible, right? How do you
• 17:08
Speaker 1: move a violent, serial child molester to Camp Brian? It

Speaker 1: honestly boggles the mind. Whoever came up with that decision,
• 17:17
Speaker 1: whoever's signature is on that piece of paper, that person
• 17:20
Speaker 1: should be held accountable and they should lose their job.
• 17:24
Speaker 1: It's unclear if Maxwell has received any direct threats since
• 17:27
Speaker 1: her move. I don't believe any of it, sorry. Not
• 17:29
Speaker 1: a word. Oh, now all of a sudden she's being
• 17:32
Speaker 1: threatened when she's already snitched on people at the jail?
• 17:35
Speaker 1: Save the bullshit. The Independent has reached out to Bureau
• 17:39
Speaker 1: of Prisons to confirm the reporting and Maxwell's lawyer, David
• 17:43
Speaker 1: Oscar Marcus, to ask about her security at the new prison.
• 17:48
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell's names have once again made headlines after
• 17:52
Speaker 1: the Justice Department and FBI released a memo in early
• 17:55
Speaker 1: July stating there was no so-called client list of powerful
• 17:59
Speaker 1: people who may have partaken in Epstein's crimes. Epstein did
• 18:03
Speaker 1: in fact die by suicide, and no further disclosure of
• 18:06
Speaker 1: information regarding Epstein would be appropriate or warranted. Meanwhile, we
• 18:11
Speaker 1: have all this other shit going on. So why would
• 18:13
Speaker 1: the DOJ even put that memo out? Oh, we know.
• 18:17
Speaker 1: Because Trump was told that his name was in the files.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: Not that he was doing anything illegal, just that his
• 18:22
Speaker 1: name was in the files. And that's what initiated all
• 18:26
Speaker 1: of this. all of this bullshit because Trump didn't want
• 18:30
Speaker 1: to release the files and be as transparent as he
• 18:33
Speaker 1: said he would be. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch met
• 18:36
Speaker 1: with Maxwell in Florida last month for two days, during which,
• 18:40
Speaker 1: according to Marcus, she was asked about maybe 100 different people.
• 18:45
Speaker 1: She answered questions about everybody and she didn't hold anything back.
• 18:49
Speaker 1: Maxwell's transfer to FPC Bryan came shortly after she met
• 18:52
Speaker 1: with the Justice Department. Experts said she got special preference
• 18:56
Speaker 1: information With the move. Yeah, no shit. You don't have
• 18:59
Speaker 1: to be an expert to know that. Someone gave special
• 19:02
Speaker 1: preference to Maxwell that, to my knowledge, no other inmate
• 19:05
Speaker 1: currently in the Federal Bureau of Prisons has received, Robert Hood,
• 19:10
Speaker 1: a former warden of the Florence Supermax prison in Colorado,
• 19:13
Speaker 1: told the Washington Post in an article published Tuesday. When
• 19:17
Speaker 1: asked if he'd personally approve the transfer, Trump said Tuesday,
• 19:20
Speaker 1: I didn't know about it at all. I read about
• 19:23
Speaker 1: it like you did. Yeah, sure. We believe that. We
• 19:26
Speaker 1: believe that, Mr. President. You had nothing to do with this.
• 19:29
Speaker 1: Lord knows Donald Trump would never micromanage anything. Right? Right?
• 19:36
Speaker 1: All right. So that's going to do it for the
• 19:37
Speaker 1: morning update. And obviously, we have plenty more on the way.
• 19:41
Speaker 1: So until then, all of the information that goes with
