- 1:17Speaker 2: us with these such things. So sit back, relax, and
- 1:23Speaker 2: enjoy the episode for now introducing Ben and Nicole.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Thanks Jacko.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I'm Nicole, I'm Ben, and you are listening to Halloween
- 1:40Speaker 4: Week Wicked and Grim.
- 1:43Speaker 3: A true crime podcast. I actually just realized I fucked
- 1:47Speaker 3: that up. But that's normal. That's normal.
- 1:49Speaker 4: It's all good. We said we were going to switch
- 1:51Speaker 4: it up slightly.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that was that worked. Actually, if I installed that
- 1:54Speaker 3: would have been epic.
- 1:56Speaker 4: It was suspense. There you go for the Halloween Week.
- 2:01Speaker 4: You know it's done on purpose. Right, we're back.
- 2:03Speaker 3: And this week has been freaking amazing.
- 2:06Speaker 4: It has, and it's flying by it. It really has. Actually, Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 4: I mean we've gone through most of our episodes. After
- 2:15Speaker 4: you listen to this one, there's only two more.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:18Speaker 4: However, we got a bunch of cool stuff still coming
- 2:20Speaker 4: down the pipe.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Like like we're doing a live. We're gonna do
- 2:24Speaker 3: a live today Saturday, October twenty ninth.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yep, what time? Good question. I don't know what time
- 2:34Speaker 4: do you want to do it?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Let's decide right now six pm PST PSD.
- 2:38Speaker 4: So that's gonna be like nine pm.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Foo is that tast four pm PST.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Four pm should be should be good? Because we're over
- 2:45Speaker 4: on the West Coast, we're always way behind most people.
- 2:48Speaker 4: So let's go four.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Pm, four pm PST.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Pacific Standard time. So we're gonna go live over on
- 2:55Speaker 4: Instagram and we're going to be carving some pumpkins. And
- 2:57Speaker 4: then after that we're going to be posting on Instagram
- 3:00Speaker 4: again and Facebook some sort of pumpkin carving contest and
- 3:05Speaker 4: with information, hey can submit your pumpkin and you can
- 3:08Speaker 4: win a cool prize.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Very cool. I wanted to touch really quickly on the mugs.
- 3:14Speaker 3: So the mugs, they Etsy just put them back up
- 3:19Speaker 3: kind of what we thought might happen, and they sold up.
- 3:22Speaker 3: So if you didn't get one, I apologize. We apologize,
- 3:26Speaker 3: but we are going to be putting in an order
- 3:28Speaker 3: for another batch you will.
- 3:30Speaker 4: And we're gonna tweak them slightly the time they'll be
- 3:33Speaker 4: Stay Wicked mugs still, yeah, but they'll they'll be tweaked slightly,
- 3:36Speaker 4: so it's slightly different exactly.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And then we have a Badass of the Day.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Okay, we do.
- 3:46Speaker 3: We really do, like a Badass of the friggin.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Week, pretty much like the Halloween Badass basis. Yeah. Tammy Johnson,
- 3:55Speaker 4: she was alluding to this all week. She was we
- 3:58Speaker 4: were kind of like, we didn't want to come out
- 4:00Speaker 4: and say it, but we're pretty sure we knew what
- 4:02Speaker 4: was happening, and we were right. Tammy went and got
- 4:06Speaker 4: a tattoo from Wicked and Grim. She got mister Bones
- 4:12Speaker 4: and says stay Wicked.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Like, holy shit, dammy.
- 4:16Speaker 4: That is fucking wicked.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna post this actually on our Instagram or
- 4:23Speaker 3: our socials too, because it's got to be seen. That's
- 4:26Speaker 3: pretty awesome.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah, So that is commitment. That is absolutely wicked and
- 4:31Speaker 4: one hundred percent deserves Badass of the Day right there.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I'm curious away, oh through it blown away, officially the
- 4:40Speaker 4: first person ever with a wicked and grim tattoo. We
- 4:43Speaker 4: don't even have one, and I'm I'm a tattoo post shit.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yay, whoa tammy.
- 4:48Speaker 4: I beat us, She beat us to it, right, It's crazy,
- 4:52Speaker 4: that's so cool. I am curious though. This brings us
- 4:55Speaker 4: onto the topics of tattoos. I'm curious if anyone else
- 4:58Speaker 4: has thought about getting wicked and grim tat If you have,
- 5:00Speaker 4: let us know. But I am curious, what's your next tattoo.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I'm just throwing that out there because I want to
- 5:07Speaker 4: know mine. Well, just anyone out there listening shot a message.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I want to know what you guys will.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I'm thinking I actually need to get a fucking wicked
- 5:14Speaker 3: and grim tattoo now. So I'm going to figure that out.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, we should do it.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna do it. I have an idea. Actually, we'll
- 5:20Speaker 3: discuss this.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Oh, we'll discuss Oh yeah, okay, to be determined.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Okay, So today's episode, we are going around the world
- 5:32Speaker 3: and we have picked some spooky, some haunted, some just
- 5:36Speaker 3: outright fucked up bizarre places, and we're discussing them.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Fucked up bizarre places, got it?
- 5:43Speaker 3: So I kind of forgot to rearrange this. So that's okay.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I'm starting with two United States and then to Canada,
- 5:50Speaker 3: and then the rest are around the world. Well I'm
- 5:53Speaker 3: west in Canada's around the world.
- 5:54Speaker 4: That's also around the world.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, but I just couldn't narrow There was like
- 5:59Speaker 3: a whole bunch. It was very hard to narrow them down.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So this may be a tradition.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Is that the right word, tradition? We might make it
- 6:07Speaker 4: a tradition, yeah.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Where we kind of go through this each Halloween week
- 6:10Speaker 3: because it was really fun.
- 6:11Speaker 4: So it might be end up that I'm the urban
- 6:14Speaker 4: legend guy and you are the haunted place's guest.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Possibly it's well or apparently we have to switch it
- 6:19Speaker 3: up next year because you're not having any fun.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Well, I mean, you're doing this. I might have fun
- 6:24Speaker 4: with this, so that that might make it fair.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Oh okay, So anyway, first one, Lizzie Borden House.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Oh okay, oh yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 6:35Speaker 3: So the Lizzie Borden House is the location of the
- 6:39Speaker 3: August fourth eighteen ninety two unsolved double murder of Lizzie's
- 6:45Speaker 3: father and stepmother, Andrew and Abbey Borden. Okay, okay. The
- 6:52Speaker 3: house is located on two hundred and thirty second Street
- 6:55Speaker 3: in the city of Fall River, Massachusette.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Sits Massachusetts.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I know, I meant to say that with an accident.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I just just butchered it anyway, Fall River. Okay. So
- 7:08Speaker 3: the pair was found in the house and described as
- 7:11Speaker 3: being hacked to death, with Andrew's daughter Lizzie considered a
- 7:17Speaker 3: prime suspect, which is really fucked up. She was actually
- 7:22Speaker 3: later acquitted and no one was ever charged in their deaths. Today,
- 7:27Speaker 3: the house offers tours and operates as a bed and
- 7:30Speaker 3: breakfast kind of like sometimes that's a little fucked up though.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I was just googling it now because I'm like, I'm
- 7:36Speaker 4: pretty sure it's a bed and.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Bread yeah, like, and a few of these places are,
- 7:39Speaker 3: and I'm like, like, I don't know, and like the
- 7:42Speaker 3: main the most popular room I'm probably gonna we're talk
- 7:45Speaker 3: about it in a secure is like the room.
- 7:47Speaker 4: That where they got killed. Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Well okay, I am taught. Okay, let's just all the symparize. Okay, continue,
- 7:53Speaker 3: So the female she was murdered in a room in
- 7:58Speaker 3: a room like a bedroom.
- 8:00Speaker 4: She was murdered in a.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Room in a bedroom that you can sleep in. Okay, okay,
- 8:05Speaker 3: so that's super popular. But then the dad was actually
- 8:09Speaker 3: killed in a common area, So you can't really stay
- 8:12Speaker 3: the night in there, but like you can hang out
- 8:14Speaker 3: in that.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Spot, gotcha.
- 8:16Speaker 3: So I'm just like, I don't know, that's bizarre. That's
- 8:19Speaker 3: bizarre to me, but I'd probably stay there.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Sorry that like, so audio popped my head.
- 8:25Speaker 3: On the website, it says, is the house really haunted?
- 8:28Speaker 3: It's a question. The answer says yes. While some guests
- 8:33Speaker 3: do not witness anything, many regularly claim to experience all
- 8:38Speaker 3: manners strange things throughout the house. This includes strange odors, voices,
- 8:44Speaker 3: objects moving on their feet, feeling touched at night and footsteps,
- 8:51Speaker 3: also to be seeing full body aperations, apparitions, apparitions. Of course,
- 8:58Speaker 3: they do not guarantee that ghosts will have any haunting
- 9:02Speaker 3: experience or that guest, sorry, will have any haunting experiences.
- 9:05Speaker 3: That you can't guarantee that, but it has happened.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Yeah, of course, So would you stay at the Lizzie
- 9:12Speaker 4: Boordon House. We've talked about this case before. We've I know,
- 9:16Speaker 4: we'll not in the podcast. Just yeah, like day to day.
- 9:20Speaker 3: You know what, I'm not opposed to sleeping somewhere that
- 9:23Speaker 3: has ghosts, because I've actually done that before in Barkerville.
- 9:27Speaker 3: But I am a little bit opposed of sleeping somewhere
- 9:31Speaker 3: where someone's been like murdered.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Okay, I don't know. There's a little bit of respect
- 9:36Speaker 4: thing there. I totally get that.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I don't even know if it's that necessary. That's just
- 9:40Speaker 3: like creepy as fuck and like almost unnecessary. I guess.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I don't know, not that I'm judging anyone that does,
- 9:47Speaker 3: but I'm just like, I don't know, it's different than
- 9:50Speaker 3: just being haunted versus like someone literally like was murdered here.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, there's there's a certain status symbol almost of
- 9:57Speaker 4: the Lizzi boardon House because it's such a prolific case.
- 10:01Speaker 4: It's one of those ones where I kind of want
- 10:03Speaker 4: to go there and stay there. You would, eh, I would?
- 10:06Speaker 3: I was gonna ask you.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Also, it's like, I don't know, it's like the Watcher
- 10:09Speaker 4: House or the Amityville Horror House. It's like they're just
- 10:12Speaker 4: there's something about these places because the case is so
- 10:15Speaker 4: well known. Yeah, so it's like almost a stardom status
- 10:18Speaker 4: to it.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I would be fine staying there, but I don't know
- 10:21Speaker 3: if I necessarily want to stay in the room that
- 10:23Speaker 3: the stepmom.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Was murdered in.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but I would probably still stay there.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I think my preference preference would be to not stay
- 10:31Speaker 4: in a room that has had them murdered in. Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 4: but I probably wouldn't be opposed to it. I would
- 10:39Speaker 4: also need to make sure that I pack a bunch
- 10:43Speaker 4: of plastic wrap to wrap the bed with, because I
- 10:45Speaker 4: would piss myself at that.
- 10:47Speaker 3: I thought you're gonna say diapers or something.
- 10:49Speaker 4: The same thing.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Well, especially because one of the things here wasn't it
- 10:53Speaker 3: Where did I say this?
- 10:56Speaker 4: Oh?
- 10:56Speaker 3: And or it was feeling touched at night, like no, no,
- 11:01Speaker 3: thank you.
- 11:02Speaker 4: No, thank you? Hey, like I'm out. I mean, some
- 11:05Speaker 4: people pay good money for that shit.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I can't remember if it was one I actually picked,
- 11:08Speaker 3: but another one was like the person like tucks you in.
- 11:11Speaker 4: And I'm just like, oh, really.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I'm out, Like I'm sorry, but like I'd rather just
- 11:16Speaker 3: sleep on the streets.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Wait, hold on, when you say someone tucks you in.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Are you saying the ghosts Okay, the ghost tucks you in.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'd rather just go sleep outside. But maybe the ghost
- 11:25Speaker 3: is out there too. Anyway, that is the first one
- 11:29Speaker 3: that started us off.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Here, Okay, gotcha in Massachusetts.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yes, so now we're going to Stanley Hotel. So the
- 11:36Speaker 3: Stanley Hotel is located in Colorado, a States Park. I
- 11:39Speaker 3: believe it is. And it's stunning. It's like, it's absolute stunning.
- 11:43Speaker 3: It has breathtaking views of the Rockies, but as a
- 11:47Speaker 3: reputation for true ghost stories and was the inspiration behind
- 11:52Speaker 3: Stephen King's classic horn novel The Shining.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I actually need to, like, actually don't even if
- 12:00Speaker 3: I've read a Stephen King Noble do you haven't, I
- 12:03Speaker 3: just don't read much as the problem, I'm like a
- 12:05Speaker 3: ton of time, but I want to. I want to
- 12:07Speaker 3: read this one.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Actually, we've actually had we've had some Stephen King films
- 12:11Speaker 4: that made not far from us. Yeah, actually have But
- 12:14Speaker 4: DreamCatcher that Stephen King wasn't it?
- 12:17Speaker 3: Isn't that in Prince George?
- 12:18Speaker 4: Yeah that was filmed here. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was.
- 12:20Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure Stephen King. Okay, anyways, but there there
- 12:24Speaker 4: are some filmed around here, and actually we had this location,
- 12:28Speaker 4: this house requested as a case not too long ago.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Even oh this Stanley Hotel here. Yeah, oh okay, Well
- 12:35Speaker 3: this is just a tiny little little tidbit on it.
- 12:38Speaker 3: So in nineteen eleven, a housekeeper lit a candle in
- 12:42Speaker 3: a room that had a gas leak, which caused an explosion,
- 12:46Speaker 3: explosion that destroyed a tenth of the hotel. That's freaking terrifying.
- 12:51Speaker 4: The tenth is a significant amount, but I mean as
- 12:53Speaker 4: far as explosions go, yeah, much worse. She lived, though,
- 12:56Speaker 4: oh snap.
- 12:57Speaker 3: But guests claim her spirit has oh this is where
- 13:00Speaker 3: we are, has unmade their beds or done the sheets
- 13:03Speaker 3: around them while they were sleeping. So that's like some
- 13:06Speaker 3: creepy shits. But she lived, she lived, but then she's
- 13:10Speaker 3: later just has I mean that happens sometimes. Yeah, you're
- 13:14Speaker 3: like the Lady in the Red, like she didn't die there.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Well, there's no proof that she does, right, there's no
- 13:22Speaker 4: historical proof of the Lady in Red at all.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I think sometimes our spirits and stuff couldn't go to
- 13:26Speaker 3: places we'd like too, right.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, So you're attached to that certain place, whatever
- 13:33Speaker 4: energy reasons or who knows what. So after death you
- 13:36Speaker 4: go back. Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, So when I stay in a hotel room, I
- 13:40Speaker 3: have to like untuck the sheets because it just drives
- 13:42Speaker 3: me fucking bonkers, Like the sheet cannot be tucked in.
- 13:45Speaker 4: At the foot of the bed. Yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 3: So if I woke up and it was tucked in, chit,
- 13:50Speaker 3: that's scary.
- 13:52Speaker 4: So others here, Julie noted, next time we go to
- 13:54Speaker 4: a hotel, I'm tucking you in in the middle of
- 13:56Speaker 4: the night.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I got you better not. And I'm want to have
- 13:59Speaker 3: to check the fucking a mirror like I'm screwed. Okay,
- 14:03Speaker 3: So others hear piano music without a player, or children's
- 14:07Speaker 3: footsteps on the floor that was once used for childcare.
- 14:11Speaker 3: In twenty seventeen, a man on a ghost tour supposedly
- 14:15Speaker 3: captured two little girls on film, despite there being no
- 14:19Speaker 3: young girls on the.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Tour, and so were they holding hands saying come play
- 14:23Speaker 4: with us The Shining not that I know of.
- 14:27Speaker 3: No, Okay, So again, this place offers tours as well
- 14:31Speaker 3: as the opportunity to do overnight stays. So in regards
- 14:35Speaker 3: to the inspiration behind Stephen King's The Shining in nineteen
- 14:39Speaker 3: seventy four, Stephen King and his wife spent a night
- 14:42Speaker 3: at the Stanley Hotel. After checking in and after his
- 14:45Speaker 3: wife went to bed, Stephen went about roaming the halls
- 14:49Speaker 3: and went down to the hotel bar to enjoy a drink.
- 14:52Speaker 3: When he returned to his room, his imagination was fired
- 14:56Speaker 3: up by the hotel's remote location, it's Grand Sai, and
- 15:00Speaker 3: the eerie vibes that it gave off. So when Stephen
- 15:03Speaker 3: went to the bathroom and pulled back the curtain for
- 15:05Speaker 3: the chub, he thought, what if somebody died here? And
- 15:09Speaker 3: at that moment he knew he had a book. But
- 15:11Speaker 3: the time he left the hotel he had the bones
- 15:13Speaker 3: of The Shining set in his mind.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Wow. Yeah, cool, The Shining is a classic.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's kind of interesting that like creative people
- 15:24Speaker 3: and writers and stuff can go somewhere and be like
- 15:26Speaker 3: that inspired.
- 15:27Speaker 4: No kidding, right, yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Okay, we're going to Canada, Canada, a Canada, Canada.
- 15:34Speaker 4: We're a boot to go up Northy.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So this one is that I hope I'm pronouncing this right,
- 15:39Speaker 3: the Tranquil Sanatorium, I think.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 3: So this is actually in KAMLOPSBC, which is six hours away.
- 15:50Speaker 3: From us.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that is close.
- 15:53Speaker 3: So this place was originally built in nineteen oh seven
- 15:56Speaker 3: to treat tuberculosis, and later it served as a mental institution.
- 16:02Speaker 3: In nineteen eighty three, it closed, however, functioned as a
- 16:06Speaker 3: youth detention center until the nineteen nineties. Now, the Ruins
- 16:11Speaker 3: report high paranormal activity, ranging from orbs to eerie disembodied moans,
- 16:18Speaker 3: which is really fucking creepy.
- 16:20Speaker 4: It's probably just people in odd pockets.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Doing things, right. It could be an aumal.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it could be a raccoon or something out there
- 16:28Speaker 4: just chawing on some stuff.
- 16:29Speaker 3: So this place, though, is straight out of a nightmare.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And it's kind of sad because we actually had the
- 16:34Speaker 3: opportunity to hit this place up but missed it. Like
- 16:37Speaker 3: I remember, we have friends that live in Camelons and
- 16:40Speaker 3: we chatted to them at some point about potentially going
- 16:42Speaker 3: there because it doesn't look so it was okay. Tranquil
- 16:48Speaker 3: Farm fresh manages the site now and it doesn't look
- 16:52Speaker 3: like they have opened up post pandemic, but pre pandemic
- 16:57Speaker 3: you could tour the location and they even offer an
- 17:00Speaker 3: escape room experience.
- 17:02Speaker 4: That's right, I was trying to think because I remember
- 17:04Speaker 4: it wasn't like a haunted house or something escape room
- 17:06Speaker 4: that was it.
- 17:07Speaker 3: So I think that we suck because that would have
- 17:10Speaker 3: been amazing. But I also think I was terrified too,
- 17:14Speaker 3: so I probably.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Yeah. I think we'd be able to manage to go
- 17:17Speaker 4: there one day though too, that they'd be opening.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Up again, okay hopefully, but right as of right now,
- 17:22Speaker 3: it says like permanently closed.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Well maybe we can be like, yo, we're wicked and
- 17:27Speaker 4: Graham let us in.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Yeah. I was even wondering if you can just drive by,
- 17:32Speaker 3: like I don't know, I should actually ask for friends there,
- 17:35Speaker 3: so but that's crazy. I'm kind of sad about that.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I want to go to that place one day because
- 17:39Speaker 4: I have I've heard a lot about it. Anytime I
- 17:43Speaker 4: research like Canada haunted places, it's always on the list.
- 17:47Speaker 4: So we should make the effort to try and go there.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Well, I think let's even try to just like drive
- 17:54Speaker 3: by this summer or next summer, I.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Guess, yeah, drive by ghost hunt. Yeah, just take like
- 17:59Speaker 4: as many pictures as we can and see how many
- 18:01Speaker 4: just disembodied figures.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Are in the windows even in drive It might be
- 18:04Speaker 3: enough for me. I don't necessarily need to go in.
- 18:06Speaker 4: I want to go in. I want to go in
- 18:08Speaker 4: so bad that way. Well, that's why I want to
- 18:11Speaker 4: go in. And there's ghosts in there, and as soon
- 18:12Speaker 4: as I go in that way, I can come running
- 18:14Speaker 4: out screaming like Scooby Doo style.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah. I was literally going to just say, you talk tough, dude,
- 18:19Speaker 3: but if you saw a ghost, you would be gone,
- 18:21Speaker 3: like you would push me the fuck out of the
- 18:23Speaker 3: way and be gone.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Oh no, I do not talk tough. I am curious.
- 18:27Speaker 4: I want to go in. As soon as I'm confronted.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Fuck that, I'm out, simple as that. Okay, Okay, my
- 18:35Speaker 4: curiosity will get the better of me and then my
- 18:39Speaker 4: nerves will take over and I will scream and run.
- 18:42Speaker 4: It's not a very complicated situation, okay. Contradictory, yes, but
- 18:47Speaker 4: not complicated.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Okay. So the next one I had to include. As
- 18:53Speaker 3: you know, Canadians are all about their hockey.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Oh fuck yeah, Bud.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Yeah, And apparently the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto
- 19:02Speaker 3: is haunted. No shit, did you know this? No, I know,
- 19:05Speaker 3: I did not know this. So prior to being the
- 19:08Speaker 3: Hockey Hall of Fame, the building was a Bank of
- 19:10Speaker 3: Montreal branch for many years, like we're talking one hundred years.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Oh snap, that's a long time.
- 19:15Speaker 3: And legend has it that a nineteen year old or
- 19:19Speaker 3: So bank teller named Dorothy shot herself early in the
- 19:23Speaker 3: morning of Wednesday, March eleventh, nineteen fifty three, in the bank.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Oh so.
- 19:30Speaker 3: She was transferred to the hospital but died some hours later.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Many rumors have surfaced as to why, but the most
- 19:39Speaker 3: common ones seems to be that she was having an
- 19:41Speaker 3: affair with either another teller or the branch manager and
- 19:45Speaker 3: that man was married.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Okay, so little love triangle gone sour? I see all right.
- 19:53Speaker 3: So Dorothy's ghost is now believed to occupy the building,
- 19:57Speaker 3: with stranger currenches thought to be connected to her, such
- 20:00Speaker 3: as a woman heard crying throughout the building, along with
- 20:04Speaker 3: other eerie sounds such as moans and screams, lights flicking
- 20:08Speaker 3: on and off, doors and windows opening and closing. Some
- 20:14Speaker 3: have reported hearing footsteps when working alone at night, and
- 20:17Speaker 3: a few have felt a phantom hand on their shoulder
- 20:21Speaker 3: or leg. So despite the many reports, only one boy, though,
- 20:26Speaker 3: is believed to have actually seen Dorothy's spirit.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Oh he was.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Visiting the Hall of Fame when he started screaming don't
- 20:35Speaker 3: you see her? Don't you see her? And claimed a
- 20:39Speaker 3: woman with long black hair was going in and out
- 20:43Speaker 3: of the walls.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Really yeap, holy fuck, that is terrifying, and no one
- 20:51Speaker 4: else could see her.
- 20:52Speaker 3: No, whoa, Yeah like that boy has to be haunted
- 20:59Speaker 3: for life.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he's he's scarred. Let's put it that way.
- 21:02Speaker 4: He's gonna be going through a shit ton of therapy.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Wow, Okay, we're moving on again. Us. We're just
- 21:10Speaker 3: going around and around here.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Hey, it's it's like a little little trip. Yeah, it's
- 21:14Speaker 4: kind of fun, all just sitting here in our little
- 21:16Speaker 4: tiny home.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Actually, I do have like a travel bug. I would
- 21:20Speaker 3: love to be traveling right now. So we're moving on
- 21:23Speaker 3: to Slovakia. Now, this one came up on many of
- 21:27Speaker 3: the lists I research, and it didn't necessarily say how
- 21:30Speaker 3: the castle was haunted, but with what went on within
- 21:34Speaker 3: the castle, you can only just assume.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Okay, fair enough, let's let's dish.
- 21:39Speaker 3: And you're gonna be familiar with this one. Oh so
- 21:42Speaker 3: this is the Castles Castle. I hope I'm saying that correctly. Okay,
- 21:47Speaker 3: So the castle was used in the classic horror film
- 21:51Speaker 3: No Nose frautu nos fratu. Yeah, and beyond the the
- 21:57Speaker 3: big screen, the castle walls were once home to Countess
- 22:02Speaker 3: Elizabeth Bathory. Shit yeah Bathory. There you go.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Okay, I know who they all? Right? Gotcha?
- 22:09Speaker 3: So so who? And she is perhaps the world's most
- 22:14Speaker 3: prolific female serial killer.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Yep.
- 22:17Speaker 3: So in a fun fact, Ben covered the story of her.
- 22:20Speaker 3: I think it was last Halloween Week, was it not.
- 22:22Speaker 4: I think so, because she's the one who's like related
- 22:25Speaker 4: in potentially who potentially inspired Bloody Mary, that urban legend
- 22:29Speaker 4: I believe.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, the one that like they she will I'm
- 22:33Speaker 3: going to talk about it here about bass and their
- 22:35Speaker 3: blood of Yeah, yeah, okay, so because yeah, when I
- 22:40Speaker 3: was looking at this, I was like, oh, we should
- 22:42Speaker 3: do a podcast on her. And then I started like
- 22:46Speaker 3: just researching a bit more and I was like, oh shit,
- 22:48Speaker 3: Ben already did so. Elizabeth she's also known as the
- 22:51Speaker 3: Blood Countess of Castas. I'm saying that funny. Sorry. She
- 22:56Speaker 3: was accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and
- 22:59Speaker 3: women between nineteen or fifteen ninety and sixteen ten, the
- 23:04Speaker 3: reason being to bathe in their blood in order to
- 23:09Speaker 3: stay young.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Fountain of Bloody youth.
- 23:12Speaker 3: That is just nasty, wasn't it.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I could be incorrect to this. Wasn't she bathing in
- 23:18Speaker 4: the blood of virgins?
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean, I don't know if they were all
- 23:21Speaker 3: virgins from what I read. I just I once I
- 23:25Speaker 3: found out that you did this, I was like, I'm
- 23:27Speaker 3: gon put it in there. But the accusations against her
- 23:32Speaker 3: were supported by testimony from more than three hundred individuals,
- 23:36Speaker 3: some of who described physical evidence and the presence of mutilated, dead, dying,
- 23:43Speaker 3: and imprisoned girls found at the time of Elizabeth rest.
- 23:46Speaker 3: So I do think probably I think the ones she
- 23:49Speaker 3: was actually bathing in were virgins or something because it
- 23:52Speaker 3: was gonna make her more young.
- 23:55Speaker 4: That I don't know that was her target. I don't
- 23:57Speaker 4: know if it was all virgins she was getting, but
- 23:59Speaker 4: that's what she was trying for, I know, yeah for sure.
- 24:01Speaker 4: But yeah, she was brutal, Yeah, like holy fucking.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Up, and yeah, a lot of people were murdered.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and there I do remember that there was
- 24:11Speaker 4: no uh, there's no concrete evidence on who or where
- 24:14Speaker 4: the story of Bloody Mary came from, but there is
- 24:17Speaker 4: suspicion that it originated from Elizabeth's story. So she may
- 24:24Speaker 4: actually be potentially Bloody Mare, the original Bloody Mary.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yeah, this is creepy. That one creeps me the fuck ouh.
- 24:32Speaker 3: So we're moving on again. So yeah, we're moving on
- 24:37Speaker 3: to the Catacombs of Paris. Ooh yeah. So this is
- 24:42Speaker 3: a massive underground tomb in Pairs, France. In the late
- 24:47Speaker 3: seventeen hundreds, major public health problems tied to the city's
- 24:51Speaker 3: cemeteries led to a decision to transfer all human remains
- 24:56Speaker 3: to an underground site right right, which gave birth to
- 25:01Speaker 3: the Catacombs. Now, when I say massive, I'm talking about
- 25:05Speaker 3: the remains of more than six million people.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Fuck, that is so many whole that shit crazy. I
- 25:12Speaker 4: didn't realize it was that many people.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Wow.
- 25:16Speaker 3: So the Catacombs are a giant maize and network of
- 25:19Speaker 3: tunnels and chambers that dive deep beneath the city and
- 25:23Speaker 3: surrounding areas. They branch out and reach out for over
- 25:28Speaker 3: two hundred miles, with a small portion so less than
- 25:31Speaker 3: about two miles are actually open to the public.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Fuck.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Okay, though there are reportedly secret entrances around Paris, and
- 25:40Speaker 3: though illegal people explore the restricted areas of the tunnels often,
- 25:45Speaker 3: which isn't surprising at all.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, no kidding, I have seen because I believe
- 25:51Speaker 4: there is some footage out there on YouTube of like
- 25:54Speaker 4: people actually going into the catacombs and stuff and like exploring. Yeah,
- 26:00Speaker 4: there's I'll touch on it at the end. I'll let
- 26:03Speaker 4: you go ahead, cause there's there's a story that I
- 26:05Speaker 4: know from it that's that's kind of okay, creepy.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Well, I was going to ask you I would go
- 26:09Speaker 3: and I would go through these one hundred percent. Really yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 3: I would actually love to go and see this.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Because I don't know if I don't think they're mapped out,
- 26:19Speaker 4: I think I mean, I think people go through and
- 26:23Speaker 4: explore them, have like made their own maps, and it's
- 26:26Speaker 4: like hard to get a hold of these. You need
- 26:27Speaker 4: to know the right people to get a hold of them,
- 26:28Speaker 4: because they're illegally exploring this.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Stuff, right, Okay, Well, no, I just go through the
- 26:33Speaker 3: part that you can, because the thought of freaking getting
- 26:36Speaker 3: lost in there would be terrifying.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Oh yeah, one hundred percent. I would definitely easily go
- 26:40Speaker 4: through the little portion that you said that it's open
- 26:42Speaker 4: to the public, Yeah for sure. Yeah, but that's the thing,
- 26:44Speaker 4: like people actually get lost in the stuff. Oh, there's
- 26:47Speaker 4: one thing where like a video camera or something was found.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm going to talk about that.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Oh there we go.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Okay, okay, I'll get there in just one sex. So
- 26:55Speaker 3: inside the tunnels, our stone passions, ways that twist and turn,
- 27:00Speaker 3: there are also areas with incredible displays formed from human remains,
- 27:05Speaker 3: like it looks amazing, really displays such as entire walls
- 27:10Speaker 3: made from skulls and bone from floor to ceiling and
- 27:13Speaker 3: like in patterns kind of thing. Oh ye, Like it's
- 27:15Speaker 3: wild being that so many remains are in one place.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Of course, rumors of ghosts, hauntings, and urban legends come
- 27:23Speaker 3: from the catacombs. So in the nineteen nineties the story
- 27:27Speaker 3: actually surfaced and it was from Cataphills, people who explore
- 27:33Speaker 3: the catacombs. So they were doing what they do, exploring,
- 27:37Speaker 3: and they found a video camera laying on the ground
- 27:40Speaker 3: of a hallway. They watched the video and on it
- 27:43Speaker 3: found a man running through the catacombs that appeared to
- 27:47Speaker 3: be in distress and he was clearly lost and alone.
- 27:51Speaker 3: He eventually dropped the camera, leaving it where the people
- 27:54Speaker 3: found it, but the man in the video was never found.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Yep, that's the same case. I was talking about. Yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 4: it's I've seen that footage. You can find that shit
- 28:04Speaker 4: on YouTube. It's so chilling.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's creepy.
- 28:10Speaker 4: I mean there's a potential that he managed to find
- 28:12Speaker 4: his way up. There's also a potential that his remains
- 28:14Speaker 4: are just down there in these catacombs.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but I feel like someone would have found them
- 28:19Speaker 3: right at some point.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Who knows, because these networks like they're like they're.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Not massot and it it goes. It's a very long,
- 28:26Speaker 3: like large surface area.
- 28:28Speaker 4: So creepy.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's terrifying to me. Also, like, maybe don't go
- 28:33Speaker 3: down there alone.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I think in groups is probably your best bet.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Even like just the two of us going it is scary,
- 28:39Speaker 3: Like I feel like we want more than that.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Just the two kinda get lost if we try to
- 28:46Speaker 4: explore the catecom homes. You're ready to move on, I'm
- 28:51Speaker 4: ready to move on. Sorry, I'm pretty sure everyone's ready
- 28:53Speaker 4: for me to move on to.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Okay, we're going to Egypt.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Okay, but you just started staring at me all right.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I was just like, we're going to Egypt, Okay, let's
- 29:06Speaker 3: go to Egypt. So a place of treasure tombs and curses.
- 29:11Speaker 3: The Valley of the Kings was you sometime around fifteen
- 29:15Speaker 3: hundred BC, and it was a replacement for when the
- 29:18Speaker 3: Egyptians no longer put their pharaohs in a pyramid as
- 29:22Speaker 3: a final resting place.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Gotcha, okay, okay.
- 29:26Speaker 3: So, in total, the Valley of the Kings is home
- 29:28Speaker 3: to sixty five tombs, most of which have fallen to
- 29:33Speaker 3: tomb raiders over the centuries, which is pretty shitty.
- 29:37Speaker 4: And not to be confused with lower croft. We're talking
- 29:40Speaker 4: like grave robbers here.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, gosh, thanks for the clarification, just saying. One, however,
- 29:48Speaker 3: was untouched, and that's King Tutonkaumon. So his tomb was
- 29:55Speaker 3: discovered in nineteen twenty two by Sir Howard Carr. The
- 30:00Speaker 3: tone was rumored to be cursed, and said curse had
- 30:04Speaker 3: many names, names such as the King's Curse, Curse of
- 30:08Speaker 3: the Pharaoh, Mummy's Curse, and the list goes on.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Yeah, fair enough.
- 30:13Speaker 3: So the rumor of a curse initially started when Sir
- 30:16Speaker 3: Howard Carter entered the burial chamber of King Touton Common
- 30:21Speaker 3: on February seventeenth, nineteen twenty three. What's the shortened version
- 30:25Speaker 3: of that?
- 30:26Speaker 4: I was just about to say, you're saying you're having
- 30:27Speaker 4: fun saying toot and colin art.
- 30:28Speaker 3: I think I am. But is it king tut?
- 30:30Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:31Speaker 3: That okay?
- 30:32Speaker 4: Or I mean, if you want, you say king tout.
- 30:34Speaker 3: King toot.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I kind of like king toot.
- 30:38Speaker 3: So when strange occurrences began and strange deaths would befall
- 30:43Speaker 3: many of the people involved with Sir Howard Carter. For example,
- 30:48Speaker 3: only a couple of weeks after entering the tomb, one
- 30:52Speaker 3: of Howard's financial backers was bitten by mosquito, right, terrifying,
- 30:58Speaker 3: pretty common, Like god, how many mosquitoes do we get
- 31:00Speaker 3: bitten by? So this bite, though, became infected and he
- 31:05Speaker 3: died on April fifth, Right, I.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Forgot about that. I did hear about that before. Could
- 31:10Speaker 4: you imagine dying from a mosquito bite?
- 31:13Speaker 3: I know, that's I feel like that's the least epic
- 31:15Speaker 3: way to die, that is, Yeah, I mean, that's a
- 31:18Speaker 3: story and a half. That's so shitty though, Like up here,
- 31:22Speaker 3: if that was a thing that could happen, like how
- 31:23Speaker 3: many people die in it?
- 31:25Speaker 4: Oh, Canada would be wiped out each yeah.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Yeah, So the curse isn't the only paranormal activity that
- 31:31Speaker 3: has been reported in the Valley of the Kings, though,
- 31:35Speaker 3: according to multiple witnesses, a chariot with jet black horses
- 31:40Speaker 3: will ride across the desert sand at midnight. Oh shit,
- 31:44Speaker 3: which is fucking terrifying.
- 31:46Speaker 4: That sounds really cool. I want to like sit back
- 31:47Speaker 4: with lawn chair.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Oh you want to watch this? Fuck?
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yah? Okay, as long as it doesn't start riding towards me,
- 31:54Speaker 4: I'm cool.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Okay. It is said to be driven by a short
- 32:00Speaker 3: who appears to be an Egyptian pharaoh. Nothing has, of course,
- 32:04Speaker 3: been proven, but many swear by the tail and the
- 32:06Speaker 3: identity of this mysterious chariot and its drivers are unknown.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Crazy, that's not that. So you're telling me you wouldn't
- 32:14Speaker 4: go sit on a desert dune eating some popcorn at
- 32:19Speaker 4: midnight looking off down some valley of the Kings with
- 32:22Speaker 4: like dead pharaoh's resting place to see if there's a
- 32:25Speaker 4: ghost chariot that rides among the valley. No, that doesn't
- 32:29Speaker 4: sound interesting to you.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I mean it sounds interesting, but I also feel like
- 32:33Speaker 3: I just rather not. I think that's terrifying.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Yeah. See, for me, I'm far enough away where it's like,
- 32:41Speaker 4: look at that way over there.
- 32:42Speaker 3: And if it starts coming, then you just see Ben running.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Across the Yeah. I will be running faster than that chariot.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I can guarantee you.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Okay, okay. So we're moving to Serbia next,
- 32:58Speaker 3: and I do apologize in events for my name pronunciation.
- 33:03Speaker 3: These names you can look up how to pronounce them.
- 33:05Speaker 4: So no Google translator or anything bing in it here.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Okay. So the remote village of kissel Jevel to be exact,
- 33:12Speaker 3: and this is home to less than eight hundred people.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Oh small, It's like a small village, right. So in
- 33:19Speaker 3: seventeen twenty five, a Serbian president or peasant sorry president,
- 33:23Speaker 3: what is that?
- 33:24Speaker 4: I don't know what is a president.
- 33:26Speaker 3: It's like a peasant president. It's very odd.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Okay, I am the president of this Serbian country here, okay.
- 33:34Speaker 3: So it was a Serbian peasant named Peter would pass away,
- 33:39Speaker 3: and following his death, over the next eight days, nine
- 33:43Speaker 3: deaths would occur. Oh snap, with the nine dying saying
- 33:49Speaker 3: on their deathbed that they had been throttled by Peter's corpse.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Throttled by his corpse, yes, like he just a zombie.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Beat the shit out of him.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I have no idea. All right, Oh, I don't even
- 34:04Speaker 3: know what that means.
- 34:05Speaker 4: He's like you only five bucks, bitch.
- 34:08Speaker 3: So priests and officials flocked to this village to investigate,
- 34:12Speaker 3: right mm hm, and roughly forty days after his death,
- 34:16Speaker 3: they exhumed his grave okay, and much to their dismay,
- 34:22Speaker 3: found that his beard and nails still seemed to be growing.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Oh okay, I have heard of this.
- 34:29Speaker 3: And there were signs of new skin growth. So they
- 34:34Speaker 3: took a steak and like plunged it into his body,
- 34:38Speaker 3: and it was reported that fresh blood splurted from is
- 34:43Speaker 3: that a word splurted from his ears and mouth, a
- 34:46Speaker 3: horrible scream arose, and his skin turned black.
- 34:51Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 34:52Speaker 3: After that, the murders stopped, and some call him the
- 34:57Speaker 3: first vampire.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Wow.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, like that, I feel like, please, dear God, just
- 35:03Speaker 3: let's just say that's that is creepy, Like shit didn't happen,
- 35:09Speaker 3: because that's terrifying.
- 35:10Speaker 4: That is terrifying. Yeah, wow, okay.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Okay, So we're gonna move on.
- 35:18Speaker 4: I really hope I don't dream about that one tonight.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Oh.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I know, that would be the worst thing.
- 35:22Speaker 4: The other ones I could handle.
- 35:24Speaker 3: That one's the fact that you literally exhume someone's body
- 35:29Speaker 3: that many days after they pass and like you see that.
- 35:34Speaker 3: But then the thing is, I'd be like, oh my god,
- 35:35Speaker 3: like are they still alive? But then then you stab
- 35:38Speaker 3: them basically, and then they're a freaking vampire. Like shit.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I don't know. It's scary.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's it's it's scary. I don't I don't
- 35:49Speaker 4: have any other words for it. That is, if true, fucked.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Up, terrifying. Okay. So now we're gonna go to Australia.
- 35:57Speaker 3: So and this this is the final place we're heading.
- 36:01Speaker 3: And this is the Monte Cristo Homestead. You heard of that.
- 36:04Speaker 4: I've heard of Monte Cristo, but I mean, I mean
- 36:07Speaker 4: there's a Monte Cristo sandwich, So that could be where
- 36:10Speaker 4: it's from. I have no clue.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I don't know if that's the sandwich is from, babe. Okay.
- 36:14Speaker 3: So this is said to be Australia's most haunted house.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Oh okay. Interesting.
- 36:19Speaker 3: So it's built on a hillside in New South Wales
- 36:23Speaker 3: and in eighteen eighty four by farmer Christopher Crawley. So
- 36:27Speaker 3: Christopher died on December fourth, nineteen twenty and after his
- 36:31Speaker 3: death it was said his wife Elizabeth had like much
- 36:35Speaker 3: trouble coping.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Christopher Crawley. That sounds familiar.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that name does, eh, but maybe just from this maybe,
- 36:43Speaker 3: so his wife Elizabeth, she locked herself inside the house,
- 36:46Speaker 3: spending most of her time up in the attic, where
- 36:49Speaker 3: she had built a small chapel. She remained in the
- 36:52Speaker 3: home twenty three years, only leaving the house twice before
- 36:58Speaker 3: she herself passed away.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, like that's kind of sad. It's kind of sad
- 37:04Speaker 3: that its death just distraught her that much, you know,
- 37:07Speaker 3: no kidding. So, after some time in much vandalism, the
- 37:11Speaker 3: homestead was eventually purchased and restored to its original state.
- 37:16Speaker 3: They turned it into a museum for tours, including a
- 37:19Speaker 3: doll museum, and they.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Sold antiques a doll museum. Yeah, okay, so dolls haunted place.
- 37:28Speaker 4: This is going to end? Well, I don't.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Know, I didn't have I don't have anything else to
- 37:33Speaker 3: say about the dolls, but I just thought that was interesting. Okay,
- 37:36Speaker 3: But dolls are creepy as shit.
- 37:37Speaker 4: So dolls are fucking creepy.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yeah. So once they kind of moved in and settled in,
- 37:43Speaker 3: it was immediately noticed the strange occurrences happening in the house.
- 37:48Speaker 3: For one, their animals did not want to go into
- 37:52Speaker 3: the house really, and that's I mean kids, animals. I
- 37:56Speaker 3: think they're more susceptible, right, we know, they're more susceptible
- 37:59Speaker 3: to like hauntings and air Normally they see.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Women with black hair walking through Hockey Hall of Fame
- 38:04Speaker 4: walls like poor child.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Oh my goodness. Okay, So lights appeared to be on
- 38:11Speaker 3: in the evening as you would approach the house. So
- 38:13Speaker 3: say you're driving up to this house, right, yes, it's
- 38:16Speaker 3: someone's up, like the lights you're on. But when you
- 38:19Speaker 3: open the front door, all the lights are actually off.
- 38:22Speaker 3: What which is fucked? The homestead is actually haunted by
- 38:26Speaker 3: at least ten ghosts. Ten yeah, so including I'm not
- 38:31Speaker 3: going to cover all of them, but including Christopher Crawley
- 38:34Speaker 3: and his wife Elizabeth. So Christopher's ghost haunts the room
- 38:37Speaker 3: in which he died, but his spirit is reported as
- 38:40Speaker 3: kind as ever, which is kind of nice, okay. Elizabeth,
- 38:43Speaker 3: on the other other hand, she still rules the house
- 38:46Speaker 3: and judges anyone who dares to enter her house. If
- 38:51Speaker 3: she doesn't like you, she'll try to scare you out
- 38:54Speaker 3: with ice cold air falling on your skin, so like
- 38:58Speaker 3: you get like this feeling just chill, like like a
- 39:01Speaker 3: shiver of.
- 39:03Speaker 4: Why don't I just put on a hoodie?
- 39:05Speaker 3: Is that what you would do?
- 39:06Speaker 4: That's probably what I did, but like there's a draft
- 39:09Speaker 4: and then I put on a hoodie. Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 3: So anyway, that's all I want to say about that
- 39:14Speaker 3: spooky place. But I would I would probably actually visit
- 39:17Speaker 3: that one. It looks pretty cool.
- 39:18Speaker 4: That one sounds pretty cool.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, I would love to go to Australia to
- 39:21Speaker 3: be honest.
- 39:22Speaker 4: To be fair, though, I don't think she sounds like
- 39:24Speaker 4: a biach. I think she's just like, yo, get out
- 39:26Speaker 4: of my house. Yeah, I like, I haven't left the
- 39:30Speaker 4: house for how many decades? I just like chilling in
- 39:34Speaker 4: my own space and you're in my zone off. And
- 39:36Speaker 4: then she doesn't even like deter you in any mean way.
- 39:40Speaker 4: She's like, here, I'm gonna make you a little bit cold,
- 39:42Speaker 4: so you'll leave, and you'll leave and grab your speat uncomfortable. Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 4: you'll You'll make you slightly uncomfortable, so you'll maybe leave
- 39:49Speaker 4: me alone.
- 39:50Speaker 3: I know, like not like going through this now. Not
- 39:53Speaker 3: all ghosts are bad, Like I do think that there's
- 39:57Speaker 3: kind spirits and so of spirits out there that even
- 39:59Speaker 3: just like looking out for you, right, Yeah, but yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 3: there definitely are some scary ones too, which is a
- 40:04Speaker 3: little bit alarming and terrifying.
- 40:06Speaker 4: But yeah, there's some weird shit out there, whether the
- 40:11Speaker 4: spirits or not. Like even like a curse on its
- 40:14Speaker 4: own might not be a spirit, but it could be
- 40:16Speaker 4: like like the curse of Toot in common. Who knows
- 40:19Speaker 4: what that specifically is. Maybe a fucking spell laid on
- 40:21Speaker 4: his tomb, But yeah, that in itself is just eerie
- 40:26Speaker 4: and just as key.
- 40:28Speaker 3: He starts walking down the stairs our.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Black Cat, Black Shadow.
- 40:33Speaker 3: So anyway, that was our trip around the world.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Wow, that was cool, thank you.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of interesting. There are a ton more
- 40:40Speaker 3: that I wanted to cover, but I was like, we're
- 40:42Speaker 3: gonna we're gonna keep it down and then you know what,
- 40:44Speaker 3: maybe we'll we'll cover those ones next year.
- 40:46Speaker 4: So well, there's there's a lot of creepy, scary, paranormal, strange, weird,
- 40:52Speaker 4: abnormal places all around the world, So I don't think
- 40:56Speaker 4: you'd ever run out of topics.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Well, yeah, there's so many that literally I want to
- 41:00Speaker 3: be like an Elizabeth that just stays in my house.
