A 23-year-old former pastor in Columbus County is facing 16 felony embezzlement charges after allegedly stealing nearly $58,000 from his church—money reportedly used for loan payments, DoorDash orders, phone bills, legal fees, horseback riding, and a trip to Myrtle Waves. Arrested in August, he’s being held on a $75,000 bond and was leading the church just months prior.
