- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Sure it's time.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello Laelo, Welcome to the Noughty but Night Show. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: your host from Shooter and it's Tuesday, which means my
- 0:20Speaker 1: favorite person. Elena Dixon joins us. Heysday A, there.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I am here. How are you doing?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Very good? Thank you for your lovely birthday notes. It
- 0:29Speaker 1: was my birthday on Sunday and you guys were just
- 0:32Speaker 1: so kind. Thank you. I'm still going through them saying
- 0:36Speaker 1: thank you. You know, I'm a lucky, lucky guy. I
- 0:39Speaker 1: took a moment an hour to reflect on Sunday. I
- 0:42Speaker 1: went out by myself and I just wanted to be
- 0:44Speaker 1: by myself for an hour on my birthday. I think
- 0:46Speaker 1: it's a good thing. We should all think about doing this.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So I went for a walk along the river. I
- 0:50Speaker 1: had my phone, but I wasn't looking at texts, dms
- 0:53Speaker 1: or anything. I was just listening to some of my
- 0:55Speaker 1: favorite music from the eighties, which is where when I
- 0:58Speaker 1: grew up. So I was listened to Madonna and Michael
- 1:00Speaker 1: and I was thinking about what a lovely childhood I
- 1:02Speaker 1: had and now what a lovely life I have. And
- 1:04Speaker 1: a big part of that noughties is you and you
- 1:07Speaker 1: miss d too, So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:13Speaker 1: It is tea time. Okay, big story at the top
- 1:16Speaker 1: of the show. We have two big stories. Actually at
- 1:18Speaker 1: the top of the show today, I'll do one, mister
- 1:20Speaker 1: will do the other. Sophia Foragara and Joe Manganello are
- 1:23Speaker 1: divorcing after seven years off marriage. Page six broke this exclusively.
- 1:28Speaker 1: The couple told Page six in a statement, quote, we
- 1:32Speaker 1: have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people
- 1:36Speaker 1: that love and care for one another very much, we
- 1:39Speaker 1: pol likely ask for respect and our privacy at this
- 1:42Speaker 1: time as we navigate this new phase of our lives. Okay,
- 1:46Speaker 1: as somebody who has put together these statements for celebrities,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I did Jessica Simpsons and Nicholas Shay's divorce. I also
- 1:54Speaker 1: did Jlo and Ben Affleck's break up. Let's break down
- 1:57Speaker 1: this sentence. So the things that you have to do,
- 1:59Speaker 1: we call it boiler plate, is you have to say
- 2:02Speaker 1: we live and care for one another, and you also
- 2:04Speaker 1: have to say we ask for your privacy at this time.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You get add a few other things, but they really
- 2:11Speaker 1: did it. That's all. This is which tells me, Misty,
- 2:15Speaker 1: this isn't quite isn't quite as happy as what they
- 2:19Speaker 1: are making out. What do you think?
- 2:21Speaker 3: First of all, this makes me so sad because they
- 2:23Speaker 3: are one in my hashtag couple goals. They were so
- 2:26Speaker 3: cute together. So we know that she went through that
- 2:28Speaker 3: whole thing with her ex fighting over frozen eggs, and
- 2:32Speaker 3: I'm sure it took its toll on Joe and Sofia's relationship.
- 2:37Speaker 3: But you know, seven years, it's the seven years itch.
- 2:40Speaker 3: People grow apart. So breaks my heart, but you know,
- 2:44Speaker 3: I hope they can find happiness as they go their
- 2:46Speaker 3: separate ways.
- 2:47Speaker 1: We knew something was up because currently she's celebrating her
- 2:49Speaker 1: fifty first birthday party in Italy without her ring and
- 2:54Speaker 1: without her man. When you go on your birthday and
- 2:56Speaker 1: you don't take your husband, that is not a good thing.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Sources are saying they grew apart. It's been going on
- 3:02Speaker 1: for a while now. They were last seeing a few
- 3:06Speaker 1: months ago when Sophia visited him on one of his
- 3:09Speaker 1: Movivie sets. He's doing a new project. Eyebrows also raised
- 3:14Speaker 1: when he posted a birthday tribute to his wife and
- 3:17Speaker 1: he simply wrote happy Birthday, Sophia and everybody was like
- 3:22Speaker 1: he wrote that in Spanish. Everybody's like, well that's a
- 3:24Speaker 1: bit cold. Not my love, my beloved wife. Nothing. They're
- 3:27Speaker 1: very affectionss now. I have a little bit of personal
- 3:30Speaker 1: experience with particularly him. He never was comfortable being mister
- 3:36Speaker 1: Sophia Viagara. She is one of the highest paid people
- 3:41Speaker 1: on television, the highest mystery. She makes so much money
- 3:45Speaker 1: from America's got talent. Her residuals are still coming in
- 3:48Speaker 1: from Modern Family. He's pretty much famous because he did
- 3:53Speaker 1: True Blood. What was the name of that show on HBO.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe that was it, And of course you
- 3:59Speaker 3: know he did some Mike. But other than that, Yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 3: he's a smaller name compared to hers. If we're just
- 4:05Speaker 3: going to be honest.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He's a smaller name. Yeah, we're not being cruel. He
- 4:08Speaker 1: he would know that too. So I remember I was
- 4:10Speaker 1: on a morning show and it was a birthday party
- 4:13Speaker 1: that I think she threw for him, or he threw
- 4:16Speaker 1: for her. This was a couple of years ago, like
- 4:18Speaker 1: four or five years ago, and I focused on her.
- 4:21Speaker 1: It was all about her. His people called to complain
- 4:24Speaker 1: to the morning show, and I know I got told
- 4:26Speaker 1: not off, but they definitely. The producers said to me,
- 4:29Speaker 1: we got to think this through. We don't want to
- 4:31Speaker 1: lose him as a celebrity. And he's really angry about this,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and you really made out as if he was just
- 4:36Speaker 1: married to her, and you didn't even really say his
- 4:39Speaker 1: last name correctly, which I probably didn't, and he got
- 4:42Speaker 1: really mad about it. Well, if he's getting mad because
- 4:44Speaker 1: Rob Shooter's on a morning show, can you imagine what
- 4:46Speaker 1: that is like? Every single day? It's hard being mister
- 4:51Speaker 1: missus somebody or another, and in this case, he definitely
- 4:54Speaker 1: was mister Sophia Fagana.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 3: And I mean you would think you're famous. People know
- 5:01Speaker 3: who you are, you're making you're a beautiful couple.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Isn't that enough?
- 5:04Speaker 3: But when it comes to that's your career, that's your passion,
- 5:07Speaker 3: your purpose. You want to be acknowledged for who you are,
- 5:10Speaker 3: not just who you're with. And some people can handle
- 5:13Speaker 3: it and some people can't. So I just wish them
- 5:16Speaker 3: the best of luck and they again that they both
- 5:19Speaker 3: find happiness with someone else or more importantly, with themselves.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Married people that you're not competitive with, date people
- 5:26Speaker 1: that you're not competitive with. Two actors together. That is very, very,
- 5:29Speaker 1: very difficult. That's like me marrying Andy Cohen. It would
- 5:32Speaker 1: drive me crazy. I would be missus Andy Cohen. It
- 5:35Speaker 1: would always be about him. Marry somebody who's in a
- 5:38Speaker 1: different business to you. Bruce is very successful my husband,
- 5:42Speaker 1: but were in totally different genres, totally different businesses. Are
- 5:45Speaker 1: pastor really cross professionally, and I think that really helps.
- 5:49Speaker 1: It's difficult here. And I'm not digging on him because
- 5:52Speaker 1: he had trouble really accepting this role.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 5:56Speaker 1: At every event they went to, she was treated like
- 5:59Speaker 1: a queen and he was Hi Joe. People will not
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know, it's nice to see him. He's a very
- 6:03Speaker 1: good looking guy. But I bumped into them too. At events,
- 6:06Speaker 1: it's always about her. The photographers want to take her picture,
- 6:09Speaker 1: the reporters want to speak to her, the guests at
- 6:12Speaker 1: the event want to see her. Joe's great, he ain't her? Okay.
- 6:16Speaker 1: This brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Sophia Vagara and Joe Manganello are divorcing after seven years
- 6:23Speaker 1: of marriage. Will this get ugly?
- 6:26Speaker 3: So?
- 6:26Speaker 1: They're saying they still love each other, they drifted apart,
- 6:28Speaker 1: they're still friends. I don't know. What do you think?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Will this get ugly? Remember too, I hope they have
- 6:35Speaker 1: a prenup because that mansion they live in in La
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's her money the paid for it, miss Dy. She's
- 6:41Speaker 1: very very rich. Go vote on our Twitter page at
- 6:44Speaker 1: Naughty Nice RABA facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be
- 6:48Speaker 1: sure to check back to Marau to hear your results.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Hey missy, what are you working on?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Well?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Unfortunately the divorce train continues because Ariana Grande and her
- 6:59Speaker 3: husband Dot Gomez of two years are getting divorced.
- 7:04Speaker 2: But I can add they have.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Been separated since January, but they've remained, of course, as
- 7:11Speaker 3: they say, incredibly amicable. So you know, this is a
- 7:14Speaker 3: decision that they came to together. They were having problems
- 7:17Speaker 3: actually before January, but they wanted to remain friends. Dalton
- 7:22Speaker 3: visited Ariana on the set of Wicked in London kind
- 7:25Speaker 3: of in a last ditch attempt effort to save their marriage,
- 7:28Speaker 3: but it just didn't work out, and basically she was
- 7:32Speaker 3: seen over the weekend without her wedding ring. The last
- 7:36Speaker 3: time Ariana was seen with her wedding ban on was
- 7:38Speaker 3: at a Jeff Goldboom concert in London.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Oh, very interesting a few months ago, I think back
- 7:44Speaker 1: in April.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yeah, so they got married very secretly back in May
- 7:48Speaker 3: twenty twenty one. Nobody knew about it, kind of came out.
- 7:51Speaker 3: It was a really small ceremony, less than twenty people.
- 7:54Speaker 3: She wore vera wang and she seemed very happy. But unfortunately,
- 7:59Speaker 3: this is that the what do you think?
- 8:00Speaker 1: Right? And I do believe this is amicable, Unlike Sophia
- 8:04Speaker 1: and Joe, I believe this is amicable. I know that
- 8:07Speaker 1: he went to London to try a last minute effort
- 8:11Speaker 1: to save it. It didn't work. But get this, sources
- 8:13Speaker 1: tell me that he's been dating other people for the
- 8:16Speaker 1: last few months. So they split up in January, and
- 8:19Speaker 1: the last couple of months he's actually been going out
- 8:22Speaker 1: on dates. And get this, mystery. I love this. She
- 8:24Speaker 1: has no issue with that at all. She actually likes
- 8:26Speaker 1: the fact that he is moving on. They just didn't
- 8:30Speaker 1: want to be a couple anymore. They like each other,
- 8:33Speaker 1: they love each other, but as friends, not that special
- 8:36Speaker 1: type of love you really do need. I love my friends.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I don't want to marry them. Sorry, mistery, you don't
- 8:41Speaker 1: want to marry me either, But I'm sorry, Aaron. Sorry, Dardy.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Although Dardy would be fun to marry because he's so sweet.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Mark Looper would be good good too, But nevertheless, they
- 8:51Speaker 1: are friends. I get this. I think they're gonna do
- 8:54Speaker 1: okay here. He earns his own money. He doesn't have
- 8:57Speaker 1: the sort of money that she does. But they live
- 8:59Speaker 1: quite simple life. They don't live like Sophia Viagara in
- 9:02Speaker 1: a mansion, beautiful home, but it's not quite the same.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And I think too, because they're in separate categories. He's
- 9:10Speaker 1: in real estate, she's an actress. So their lives, they
- 9:13Speaker 1: have their own lives, their own identities, and that's something
- 9:17Speaker 1: that Sophia and Joe do not have. We are wishing
- 9:20Speaker 1: them the best, okay, moving along and alcohol free. Kyle
- 9:24Speaker 1: Richards has celebrated one year of sobriety, saying she never
- 9:27Speaker 1: felt better. So She said that she marked her one
- 9:31Speaker 1: year of sobriety by posting on Instagram all the decisions,
- 9:36Speaker 1: all the reasons that she decided to put down the
- 9:38Speaker 1: bottle very smart. The first and foremost, she wrote, I
- 9:42Speaker 1: didn't feel like I was where I wanted to be,
- 9:45Speaker 1: And she said it no longer served me anymore. Alcohol
- 9:47Speaker 1: no longer served me. Pun included physically, mentally, or spiritually.
- 9:52Speaker 1: She said alcohol two made her feel depressed the next morning,
- 9:56Speaker 1: no matter how much fun the night before was, and
- 9:59Speaker 1: she added, honestly think that life is going by so
- 10:03Speaker 1: fast that I want to throw those days away being hungover.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I've had a similar epiphany to Kyle Richard's. I love
- 10:12Speaker 1: going out and drinking montinos and laughing with my friends.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I love going the frescoes and mid d and eating
- 10:18Speaker 1: and drinking the next morning are really rough for me Now.
- 10:21Speaker 1: When I was in my twenties or thirties, I could
- 10:23Speaker 1: pop out of bed like a piece of toast and
- 10:25Speaker 1: carry on. Now, if I have a crazy night the
- 10:27Speaker 1: next two days, not one two days, I have to
- 10:31Speaker 1: really alter on my calendar. And I don't want to
- 10:33Speaker 1: lose two days a week or two days maybe even
- 10:37Speaker 1: more if I go out twice a week. Mister so,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I've really cooked that too. It just doesn't serve me anymore.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Where are you? You've always been a very sensible drinker, mistery,
- 10:45Speaker 1: You've never been a binge drinker. Where are you on
- 10:48Speaker 1: all this?
- 10:48Speaker 2: You know?
- 10:49Speaker 3: The irony is the older that you get, the harder
- 10:52Speaker 3: it is to drink and you're actually at an age
- 10:54Speaker 3: where you can afford to buy good wine, good champagne.
- 10:58Speaker 3: But true, it does take about two days to recover.
- 11:01Speaker 3: And you know, I'll say, I was flying back home
- 11:05Speaker 3: last night in first class, so of course I had
- 11:07Speaker 3: a glass of wine. And this morning, I'm like, why
- 11:09Speaker 3: did I do that? It was so late at night.
- 11:11Speaker 3: So I have to reevaluate as well. I literally say, okay,
- 11:16Speaker 3: one day this week and then the rest of the
- 11:18Speaker 3: week I just have to be not drinking because I
- 11:21Speaker 3: need to be productive. You have to make a choice.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It's very difficult to do both at the same time.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, almost impossible. I make a choice now, and I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: really glad that it's that clear for me. Like I
- 11:33Speaker 1: sit there at Bottoo as I went out with Nikoy
- 11:35Speaker 1: a couple of days ago, and I had one glass
- 11:37Speaker 1: of champagne a glass of water, and then I came
- 11:39Speaker 1: home and I woke up the next morning feeling as
- 11:41Speaker 1: fresh as a daisy. So I had a lovely time
- 11:43Speaker 1: with my friends. We spent an hour and a half
- 11:45Speaker 1: two hours laughing and joking. It was a great night.
- 11:47Speaker 1: But I didn't need to keep going to the point
- 11:50Speaker 1: where I was getting sloppy drunk, and so for me,
- 11:53Speaker 1: now the choice is very clear. I can drink like
- 11:56Speaker 1: a mad man and have a great night, but the
- 11:57Speaker 1: cots the price. Not only is it expensive financially, but
- 12:01Speaker 1: the price is the next two days, I'm gonna be
- 12:03Speaker 1: a mess, and I just don't want to do that anymore. Okay, quickly,
- 12:08Speaker 1: before we go to break, Miss d Ramona Singer not
- 12:12Speaker 1: being very nice, not exactly handing the bat on to
- 12:15Speaker 1: the new cast of the Real Housewives of New York.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, so one of the new Real Housewives of
- 12:21Speaker 3: New York. Side to Silva, she actually called out Ramona
- 12:25Speaker 3: and she said she was kind of.
- 12:26Speaker 2: A bee to Si.
- 12:28Speaker 3: So basically Si was talking to Andy Cohen and she's like,
- 12:31Speaker 3: of course I saw Ramona at Art Basil, and I
- 12:35Speaker 3: wanted to introduce myself and Andy even before she told
- 12:38Speaker 3: the story. And he's like, I'm sure that did not
- 12:40Speaker 3: go well. So Si says to Ramona, Hi, I just
- 12:44Speaker 3: wanted to let you know I'm on this new show.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I'm on the reboot, and you know I'm part of
- 12:50Speaker 3: the new era. Maybe that was the problem how she
- 12:52Speaker 3: put it, and Ramona, in very Ramona fashion, basically said.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Honey, good luck, you're gonna need it.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Some other stars from the new franchise have also said
- 13:05Speaker 3: that Ramona wasn't the friendliest, except for Uber Hassan, who
- 13:09Speaker 3: says that Ramona is hilarious and basically said she said
- 13:14Speaker 3: she was sitting talking to Ramona and Ramona asked her
- 13:17Speaker 3: you Marriy. Uber said no, and she's like, forget it
- 13:20Speaker 3: after this show, and she's like, that may sound mean,
- 13:23Speaker 3: but it's hilarious. And I will speak personally from Ramona
- 13:26Speaker 3: because I've known her a long time. She is hilarious,
- 13:29Speaker 3: but sometimes even when she knows you, she can be
- 13:32Speaker 3: a little standoffish. I think one day she was like,
- 13:34Speaker 3: what's your name again? And I'm like, Ramona, you know
- 13:36Speaker 3: it's Delena.
- 13:38Speaker 1: For twenty years, she's my least favorite. She's just not
- 13:41Speaker 1: very nice. I've known her for a very long time too,
- 13:43Speaker 1: since she started on that show, maybe even a little
- 13:45Speaker 1: bit before. I've hosted panels with her, We've had dinner together,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I know her, I've got her phone number, we've texted,
- 13:52Speaker 1: we've emailed. Not very nice. She's just not a good person.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I hate to be the one to bring you the
- 13:58Speaker 1: bad news, but on the show we are honest, naughty,
- 14:00Speaker 1: but we're nice. I've all those ladies. Like everybody who
- 14:02Speaker 1: listens to the podcast knows that Bethany and I have
- 14:05Speaker 1: personal drama, like we've had drama in the past. We
- 14:08Speaker 1: don't really like each other, but Bethany is a more
- 14:11Speaker 1: decent person than Ramona. Ramona's just not nice, And it's
- 14:16Speaker 1: amazing to me that for a decade this horrible behavior
- 14:20Speaker 1: was rewarded and and his reaction, and his reaction tells
- 14:24Speaker 1: us he knew. Everybody knows it's not going to end
- 14:26Speaker 1: well walking over to Ramona and saying hello. It never
- 14:29Speaker 1: ends well. It's just I think a toxicity that the
- 14:33Speaker 1: show obviously can do without. This is one of the
- 14:37Speaker 1: reasons I think we have the reboot. It just got
- 14:39Speaker 1: so so nasty. I haven't watched the new show yet.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I will. I recorded it. I want to like it.
- 14:45Speaker 1: For me, though, I do feel like the Housewife franchise
- 14:49Speaker 1: has passed a little bit. I'm not quite as into
- 14:51Speaker 1: it as I was ten years ago. And it's awfully
- 14:54Speaker 1: hard for me to sit down and meet five or
- 14:56Speaker 1: six new people and not be invested in any of them,
- 14:59Speaker 1: because you're starting from scratch. So maybe I would have
- 15:02Speaker 1: fired half the cast, and maybe not the whole cast.
- 15:04Speaker 1: It's a lot, isn't it to sit down even if
- 15:06Speaker 1: you go out for drinks forget TV six new people
- 15:09Speaker 1: sitting down at a table. I'm like, oh, this.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Is a lot. Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And of course you want it to be uplifting, you
- 15:15Speaker 3: want it to be aspirational. But I remember I was
- 15:17Speaker 3: talking to two young people and I was like, what
- 15:19Speaker 3: do you want to see from the new Real Housewives?
- 15:22Speaker 3: And they said two things. They said they want to
- 15:24Speaker 3: see a hot mess and they want to go inside
- 15:26Speaker 3: a closet.
- 15:27Speaker 2: So I mean, if the.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Show doesn't have this hot mess kind of toxicity, will
- 15:32Speaker 3: it work? I mean, in my heart of hearts, I
- 15:34Speaker 3: wanted to but is that what people want to watch?
- 15:37Speaker 3: You know?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Right, we'll have to wait and see.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to take a quick break and we
- 15:41Speaker 1: will be drama free when we come back. Welcome back
- 15:44Speaker 1: to the Not Even Nic Show, Rob Shooter with our
- 15:46Speaker 1: friendly Steve hemy Stein. Let's get to the polls.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Dun dun, dun, dune, thank you very much.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yesterday we talked about Harry and making I'm devastated that
- 15:52Speaker 1: they got snubbed by the Emmy snubbed no Emmy nomination
- 15:55Speaker 1: for that huge serious It was one of the biggest
- 15:58Speaker 1: series of the air on NETFLI people just over Harry
- 16:02Speaker 1: and Megan. Are we're just sick of them? Let's have
- 16:04Speaker 1: a look. Seventy percent said yes, I think it's time
- 16:06Speaker 1: for them to go away, just for a little bit,
- 16:08Speaker 1: for a few years, six months, and then come back.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I think everybody is just a little bit over them.
