Christ was a healer. He healed us from our infirmities and from our sins. He understood suffering better than any mortal who ever lived on the earth. In this episode, I quote from a talk given by Francine R. Bennion entitled, “A Latter-day Saint Theology of Suffering.” Her talk helps us understand why suffering is essential in our mortal experience.
