- 0:27Speaker 3: The month of.
- 0:28Speaker 1: July twenty twenty one. I am joined by the newly
- 0:33Speaker 1: called Up to the ww Superstars, first wearing a loose
- 0:37Speaker 1: cannon shirt.
- 0:39Speaker 3: What this wasn't available on May first, two thousand and seven.
- 0:43Speaker 3: My name is Brian Majors. For the sake of this
- 0:45Speaker 3: podcast aka the most Professional Wrestler, crackup BBR with me,
- 0:52Speaker 3: Brian Myers. What's up everybody?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Brian? You we really have I can tell you have
- 0:56Speaker 1: hell of a mask beard right now.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yes, we're an uh you know slam Versares next weekend,
- 1:02Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go to my real guy and get
- 1:04Speaker 3: it done. I did a little self care. It's not
- 1:07Speaker 3: We just wrestled the Headbangers and the Ascension. Who could
- 1:10Speaker 3: be fun?
- 1:10Speaker 2: He could be in the FWF season two.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Well, I'm also joined here by somebody who just wrestled
- 1:15Speaker 1: the head Bangers.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And I lost when a while lost because I went
- 1:18Speaker 2: for that that hot tag and Brian Myers did the Psycho.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Sid On Hogan was dropped down and they gave me
- 1:25Speaker 2: the finger gat and I walked right into the Awakenings.
- 1:28Speaker 2: That's the newest engine's name, Finisher and I lost.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Pretty awesome storytelling, bro Well, who are now in the FWF?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Oh, I'm Matt Cardona Majors who becomes Brett Major, who
- 1:41Speaker 2: becomes Zach Ryder, who becomes Matt Cardona again. All right,
- 1:44Speaker 2: so Lake, it's eleven fifty two PM.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, after crack pbr here.
- 1:49Speaker 1: But we're gonna have a good time talking about this
- 1:51Speaker 1: because I have a lot of questions myself. First, did
- 1:54Speaker 1: you guys on May twenty first, two thousand and five?
- 1:57Speaker 3: What was it?
- 1:58Speaker 1: What was it again?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Oh? When we get called up? Yes, May one, two
- 2:01Speaker 3: thousand and seven.
- 2:03Speaker 1: On May first, two thousand and seven, did you guys
- 2:05Speaker 1: think that in twenty twenty one we would be wrestling
- 2:10Speaker 1: down the street from Matt's house in Orlando against the
- 2:13Speaker 1: head Bangers?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Did you think? Nuts? Very?
- 2:15Speaker 2: I was thinking that. You know, sometimes you gotta not
- 2:18Speaker 2: pinch yourself or take yourself out of the moment. But
- 2:21Speaker 2: it's like these tag team series one Headbangers from the
- 2:24Speaker 2: Roar with them.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Also, this might sound nuts and like at the opposite
- 2:28Speaker 3: of the spectrum, Like I made up my mind a
- 2:30Speaker 3: long time ago that like I'm gonna be doing this forever.
- 2:34Speaker 3: And that's whether it's like at Wrestlemedia or a VFW
- 2:37Speaker 3: with like the Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine. Like
- 2:39Speaker 3: I was like very accepting of that. So that part
- 2:43Speaker 3: doesn't not that we were doing that, but I just
- 2:47Speaker 3: love wrestling so much. I love it in all forms,
- 2:50Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Of course, Like, so we were playing with the Headbangers
- 2:54Speaker 2: Action figures, what was that ninety eight they come out.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Or they come out ninety seven ninety seven.
- 2:58Speaker 2: First of all, that's almost my I'm boggling that they
- 3:01Speaker 2: came out so fast considering how long it takes your
- 3:03Speaker 2: figures to come out.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but they they that's like early shock on early
- 3:07Speaker 3: ninety seven. They get, they start and then they get.
- 3:10Speaker 2: By the summer the figures out, Yeah, it's a summer.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Somebody was probably just like, man, these guys look great.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I remembering the whole stept for Christmas. Unless my parents
- 3:18Speaker 3: made me, wait.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They were a little late. Maybe I was just fucking
- 3:21Speaker 2: it a little late.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Man, that's a long wait for an eager twelve year old.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I didn't say it was like, Okay, all these years later,
- 3:28Speaker 2: they still look like they did that.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Actually, for their age and how long they been doing it,
- 3:32Speaker 3: they look yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They all and they're not moving like they're grizzled and
- 3:35Speaker 2: moving like ninety seven ninety.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty cool.
- 3:37Speaker 1: That's pretty cool.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Nice, And they're also in the deceivingly large category of
- 3:42Speaker 3: pro wrestlers. Like, oh you meet them, you're like, holy shit.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, all the guys back then, and I wish we
- 3:47Speaker 2: would have taken a picture of all four of us
- 3:49Speaker 2: in our gear, but we took it after. It looks
- 3:51Speaker 2: like we're on a summer vacation.
- 3:52Speaker 3: I actually like the picture so much more. It's so
- 3:54Speaker 3: brothered out, it's unbelievable.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Just tell people that's the gear you wrestle in.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I'm sure by now I'll be all over social media
- 4:00Speaker 3: so you know what we're talking about. But it's pretty awesome.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Little housekeeping real quick. If you're joining us, because we
- 4:05Speaker 1: had a lot of members joined the Patreon this month,
- 4:09Speaker 1: a lot of cool things going on, so and upticking members.
- 4:12Speaker 1: If you're joining us for the first time. This is
- 4:16Speaker 1: a part in a multi episode series that we're doing,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and you got to go back each month Hard Foundation episode. Specifically,
- 4:23Speaker 1: we started with Q and A on Your Indie Run,
- 4:28Speaker 1: followed by a three part series of A, Q and
- 4:32Speaker 1: A on Your Developmental Run. And now this is now
- 4:36Speaker 1: episode four of the series, and we are taking questions
- 4:40Speaker 1: from our Hard Foundation members about your time being called
- 4:44Speaker 1: up to the main roster, up to becoming an edgehead.
- 4:49Speaker 1: So I will ask a bunch of their questions, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: I also have some of my own. Let's talk about it,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and we touched on it, but let's talk about out
- 5:01Speaker 1: the call. Where were you guys, What were you guys doing?
- 5:05Speaker 1: How did you get called up?
- 5:06Speaker 3: We're not together?
- 5:07Speaker 2: Do you remember that we're not together? So I remember
- 5:10Speaker 2: Deep South closes. We've talked about some Manion times. Deep
- 5:13Speaker 2: South closes. A handful of us are going to go
- 5:15Speaker 2: to OBW because we're more TV ready. The majority of
- 5:19Speaker 2: everybody else is going to FCW, which is going not
- 5:22Speaker 2: even there yet. It's gonna be a Tampa. They like,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I feel like they have like a summer vacation, like
- 5:27Speaker 2: they don't have to go right but it's not built.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's months. Yeah. Yeah, so plus they had to figure
- 5:31Speaker 3: out like people's leases and get them out, like there's
- 5:33Speaker 3: a lot of shit they went, you know, so we
- 5:36Speaker 3: no building.
- 5:38Speaker 2: We had a little bit of a break. It wasn't
- 5:40Speaker 2: that long. And I remember like I went home to
- 5:43Speaker 2: see my girlfriend at the time, and you and Brad
- 5:46Speaker 2: Jay went to OBW without me and worked a match.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Why did we do that?
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was thinking about that reason you're a brown nosing.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I don't remember why or what. But then maybe maybe
- 5:57Speaker 3: just to sign the apartment lease or get that set
- 5:59Speaker 3: up or something.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Maybe you did because we did room with him. Yeah,
- 6:04Speaker 2: that could have been it. But don't you end up
- 6:05Speaker 2: working like a dark match?
- 6:06Speaker 3: Should we worked as singles like a like a ten
- 6:10Speaker 3: minute Broadway or something bizarre like that.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I remember Nova giving me a call and I don't
- 6:16Speaker 2: know if he was ribbing me, but saying like you
- 6:19Speaker 2: might like think of things as singles because Brian went
- 6:22Speaker 2: there as as singles and they liked him, Like, how
- 6:24Speaker 2: do you worked as singles?
- 6:27Speaker 3: Ribbon a half?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Especially away you guys were getting called up.
- 6:31Speaker 3: So it's a very odd situation, like there's no Deep South,
- 6:34Speaker 3: We're getting ready to go to OVW. We're basically off.
- 6:37Speaker 3: We knew we had at least two weeks off, and
- 6:40Speaker 3: at one point you were like, why am I not
- 6:42Speaker 3: just going home? It's just stupid? Yeah, and you were
- 6:44Speaker 3: you were going to see your girlfriend. I had no
- 6:45Speaker 3: reason to leave, so I was like, whatever, I'll just
- 6:47Speaker 3: hang back. And then Nova called us and was liker
- 6:52Speaker 3: your debut in BRO your debut when you got to
- 6:54Speaker 3: be in Birmingham on Tuesday or whatever.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But you had already gone to ov W. I think
- 7:00Speaker 2: that was just to like right right, but like you
- 7:03Speaker 2: didn't go to WW then get the call with OBW. No,
- 7:06Speaker 2: I mean you didn't get the call and then go
- 7:07Speaker 2: to WW with OBW and then you got I'm pretty sure.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how I was in our house when when
- 7:12Speaker 3: I was talking to Nova.
- 7:13Speaker 2: In my memories, I don't remember the initial call.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Then you had to like probably get a flight back,
- 7:19Speaker 3: like you weren't scheduled to come back, like.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Or maybe that call. Maybe he was all he's like, oh, no,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm just kidding you are I don't really remember. Yeah, whatever,
- 7:27Speaker 2: long story short, I come back and this time we're
- 7:29Speaker 2: living with Danny Inferno. Danny Jimondo, and we already know
- 7:34Speaker 2: like we're gonna move, but now it's like all right,
- 7:36Speaker 2: well shit, we have the debut on TV and then
- 7:41Speaker 2: come back and move.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah right, well, I think the day we were supposed
- 7:46Speaker 3: to move is the day before we debut on ACW. Right,
- 7:51Speaker 3: So we do the show in Birmingham. It was like
- 7:52Speaker 3: two hour two and a half hour drive drive back
- 7:56Speaker 3: and we're already like packed and we wake up in
- 7:58Speaker 3: that morning and take off. That's right.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So did we drive to the show with Angel Williams.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a bunch of people booked on that. It's
- 8:08Speaker 3: like they would just have random people there. I remember that,
- 8:11Speaker 3: I want to say, like Connor the Ascension and Knox.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Maybe I remember the morning of putting on like some
- 8:18Speaker 2: fake tanner and it's not the fake tanner I use anymore.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You can still buy it and it has like the
- 8:23Speaker 2: glitter in it, Oh my god, like Loriel or something
- 8:26Speaker 2: like that. You don't talk about it. Yeah, And like
- 8:28Speaker 2: I had like glitter like on my face like all
- 8:31Speaker 2: day and all of my body. But I'm so glad
- 8:32Speaker 2: I did because I had like no tan because you
- 8:35Speaker 2: went home that.
- 8:36Speaker 3: We did still photo that's that's our eight by ten.
- 8:39Speaker 3: It's all those trading cards, right. I don't know if
- 8:41Speaker 3: we ever took photos again as the Major brothers. Yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 3: so weird, right we use they never used them at
- 8:48Speaker 3: least right right?
- 8:50Speaker 2: And okay, so we had called up and.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So wait, hold on, are you believing this? Like this
- 8:56Speaker 1: is it? Oh my god?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:57Speaker 3: Because it was like the call where he's saying you're
- 8:59Speaker 3: going and you have to be in Birmingham and I
- 9:03Speaker 3: guess you know because a bunch of other deep stuff
- 9:05Speaker 3: people went. He's like, I'm pretty sure you debut into
- 9:07Speaker 3: only us though, Like he didn't see anyone else.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So are you telling your friends and family?
- 9:15Speaker 2: While I was there and I knew it was happening,
- 9:17Speaker 2: I told everybody, hey watch sci fi at whatever tonight.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I never told him because in wrestling things change.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I believe it when you see it, Rightah. So and
- 9:29Speaker 1: E c W was live then, No, it happened, so
- 9:33Speaker 1: you tell him.
- 9:34Speaker 3: It airs like an hour later.
- 9:35Speaker 2: It was definitely tape that day. Maybe it was like
- 9:38Speaker 2: that day.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Because this is like the first time in my career,
- 9:41Speaker 3: like my text messages were like blowing up.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I want to say it was live and maybe it
- 9:45Speaker 2: was live to tape. Maybe it's like a little delay.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah right, okay, cool, so keep going.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So so so this is like, okay, now NXT is NXT.
- 9:56Speaker 2: You get called up, your everyone, your music hits every No,
- 10:00Speaker 2: you already get a big pop.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Yes it's different. Yeah, you've been you've been into obscurity.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You can change in the locker room us like we changed,
- 10:07Speaker 2: like it's like under the bleachers in this little like
- 10:10Speaker 2: office locker room thinging thing right, which I didn't even
- 10:15Speaker 2: realize all years later, like they hadn't put it to
- 10:19Speaker 2: two together, like, oh my god, this is the building
- 10:20Speaker 2: we debuted in. Until like one of those like doors
- 10:22Speaker 2: were open, I'm like, holy shit, this is where we changed.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Oh okay, I always remember what that building looks like.
- 10:27Speaker 3: It's that weird chain link fence.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, now right because now you like park outside.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Yeah and you walk through like yeah, yeah, I always remember.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I have a lot of vivid memories of the day
- 10:39Speaker 2: the park outside at most buildings.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I don't know why. Yeah yeah, most buildings make it
- 10:43Speaker 3: outside of them, but it has.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Like the up down thing you drive through, like the
- 10:48Speaker 2: little like like a split level. No, no, like the
- 10:51Speaker 2: little like what's that thing called mark. You're not even
- 10:54Speaker 2: looking at them.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I don't know what you're doing.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Like you drive up like you're getting out of like
- 10:57Speaker 2: the rental car place. I think the spy it been
- 11:00Speaker 2: so spike. But the thing that goes up and down
- 11:03Speaker 2: speed bump. No, it's like a little gate thing that
- 11:05Speaker 2: goes up and down.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I have no idea when you pay a toll.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah okay, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Anyway, great, great description there. Anyway. So, I mean, there's
- 11:18Speaker 3: a lot of things I remember other day, like where
- 11:19Speaker 3: they were like, wait, you're the Majors Brothers. That sucks.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It needs to be major.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I don't think they changed that till the next week. Really, yes,
- 11:29Speaker 2: maybe might be right, because that I know for a fact,
- 11:31Speaker 2: our gear says Majors Brothers.
- 11:33Speaker 3: How are we going to change it during the day?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Like right?
- 11:35Speaker 2: But I remember I think Justin Roberts says it, and
- 11:37Speaker 2: then I don't.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I don't know. Something's gonna trickle down where you're not
- 11:41Speaker 3: Brian Majors, you're not Brett Majors. You're Major Major Brett.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And then we had to get brand new gear by
- 11:46Speaker 2: the next.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Week, yes, which we did because we're professionals.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Wow, and who's your gear maker at this time that
- 11:52Speaker 1: you're getting brand new gear?
- 11:54Speaker 3: Easy money? Rick?
- 11:55Speaker 2: So this is the first time I think we maybe
- 11:58Speaker 2: at the first time, but we se which to from
- 12:00Speaker 2: Rick to what's the other guy? Robert adam't think because
- 12:06Speaker 2: he makes the mages and it's like the white with
- 12:08Speaker 2: the purple. He makes all the only started making our
- 12:11Speaker 2: stuff in the edge. No, he makes all that stuff.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, I don't recall that.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so uh does do they tell you that
- 12:21Speaker 1: you're going to do something that day or you you're
- 12:24Speaker 1: just hoping.
- 12:25Speaker 3: That you're going to do some memories? Aren't that clear?
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:29Speaker 3: I don't. I know. We work. It's a thing where
- 12:32Speaker 3: we're it's a work where we're supposed to be perceived
- 12:35Speaker 3: as locals, which, like he said, you could never work
- 12:39Speaker 3: now if you're an NXT because you're already like built
- 12:42Speaker 3: up to be the star. And like the way developmental
- 12:44Speaker 3: was back then, it was the complete opposite, Like they
- 12:46Speaker 3: didn't want you to be a star. They wanted you
- 12:47Speaker 3: to be a star. When they tell you to be
- 12:48Speaker 3: a star, when they you know, decide for you to
- 12:50Speaker 3: be a star. And so we're it was fun concept
- 12:54Speaker 3: that we're supposed to be these locals and we steal
- 12:56Speaker 3: one from uh Monny Brown and a striker, right, and
- 13:00Speaker 3: there was never the match together, and it was striker
- 13:02Speaker 3: who we've known literally since like we started. So it's
- 13:04Speaker 3: very comforting, I guess.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And he gave us the name Major. It was like
- 13:07Speaker 2: a lot of you know, that made it a lot easier.
- 13:10Speaker 2: For sure, made it more comfortable. I remember early in
- 13:12Speaker 2: the day me practicing something with Marcus Grvan, like a
- 13:17Speaker 2: grilla press into a fallaway slam thing. He's like practicing
- 13:20Speaker 2: like the gorilla press. Yeah, over it over yah, Jesus Christ,
- 13:23Speaker 2: my nuts.
- 13:25Speaker 3: But my main memories are before and after because it's
- 13:30Speaker 3: hard to explain, but like the way that original sci
- 13:32Speaker 3: Fi set was because it was not very like elaborate.
- 13:35Speaker 3: It was like there would be the SmackDown set and
- 13:37Speaker 3: that's real Gorilla. Then there would be like almost like
- 13:40Speaker 3: a pipe and drape like tarp tunnel yep, and you'd
- 13:44Speaker 3: walk to like the real they'd send you from real Gorilla,
- 13:46Speaker 3: but you still had like a pretty decent walk to
- 13:48Speaker 3: come out this little like mini side stage. And when
- 13:51Speaker 3: we got to there, the segment before us was Vince
- 13:54Speaker 3: in the do rag. He's ECW champion, he's in that
- 13:57Speaker 3: do rag and he comes back. He's about to go out,
- 14:00Speaker 3: and we're just so awkward standing there and he looks
- 14:03Speaker 3: as he goes, you guys want to try this thing
- 14:05Speaker 3: on or something like that, and like went and did
- 14:08Speaker 3: his promo or came back from the promo and said that,
- 14:10Speaker 3: and we were just we're just scared. Shit, let's standing there.
- 14:12Speaker 3: And then the other thing I remember is we did
- 14:13Speaker 3: the match, we came back. I couldn't tell you the
- 14:15Speaker 3: producer was or nothing, but I remember Sandman's there and
- 14:18Speaker 3: he's like, welcome, do U c W kid, and we
- 14:21Speaker 3: like shook his hand and stuff.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I don't know if I remember those two moments or
- 14:25Speaker 2: if I just remember you saying them so many times.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the only thing I remember. I could tell you,
- 14:29Speaker 3: like the producer, I.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Feel like just driving home with like Angel Williams.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I remember and like I said, my first time in
- 14:36Speaker 3: my career that my phone was like blowing up and
- 14:38Speaker 3: texts had become like a thing, a common thing, where
- 14:41Speaker 3: like you know, it was it was cool. Like one
- 14:43Speaker 3: of the things that was really cool for me was
- 14:45Speaker 3: that I dropped out of college to take my WW
- 14:47Speaker 3: contract yep, and all those people that I was in
- 14:49Speaker 3: college with like watched that and they're still there like
- 14:53Speaker 3: doing their senior year that I was supposed to be doing.
- 14:56Speaker 3: So I found like some kind of like redeem you know,
- 14:58Speaker 3: redemption in that kind of I thought that was pretty cool.
- 15:00Speaker 3: And it was yeah, you know, like it's not that
- 15:04Speaker 3: I finally made It was only a year really, but
- 15:06Speaker 3: like it was kind of like what I did had purpose,
- 15:09Speaker 3: kind of you know the vision I made, you know.
- 15:11Speaker 3: But and then it was May first, you know, the
- 15:14Speaker 3: the college year, and I did it with like two
- 15:16Speaker 3: weeks to spare where they're all there and they all
- 15:17Speaker 3: watched in their dorms and stuff or whatever, and I
- 15:19Speaker 3: thought that was cool.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I remember just hoping, Okay, oh, they canna bring us
- 15:24Speaker 2: back next week. And then I also, I don't want
- 15:26Speaker 2: to skip ahead, but I also remember when we debut
- 15:29Speaker 2: with Edge, I'm thinking, well, they're going to say that
- 15:32Speaker 2: that was the Major Brothers.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Yeah, did they ever?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, Okay, okay for sure.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And then you're you're are you just excited? Are You're excited?
- 15:44Speaker 3: Bro?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Skane? And You're like, I can't thank.
- 15:45Speaker 2: God, dude, you debuted and ww yeah yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Now what about the moving thing? Now? I know a
- 15:50Speaker 1: lot of people when they get the call up like now, okay, finally.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Okay, okay, typically when you debut, now it's I don't
- 15:57Speaker 2: know the rules now. But then you had like another
- 16:00Speaker 2: like three months like this weird, Grace Pierce.
- 16:03Speaker 3: There's no real number to it where you.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Would also, you'd still do developmental and they pay for
- 16:08Speaker 2: your hotels and your cars blah blah blah blah. But
- 16:10Speaker 2: since they we just we first, we didn't even move
- 16:12Speaker 2: to OBW yeh. We moved to o WW the next day.
- 16:15Speaker 2: But since we just got there, they weren't going to
- 16:18Speaker 2: let us go after three months. And it didn't help
- 16:21Speaker 2: that the major brothers didn't really take off, so we
- 16:25Speaker 2: weren't doing much. And Johnny Aace explained that if we
- 16:30Speaker 2: weren't in OVW that they would just fire us. We
- 16:33Speaker 2: weren't doing anything, which I understand.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we basically ended a period where we worked like
- 16:38Speaker 3: seven days a week. Yeah, just like seven months.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And what do you mean by it didn't take off? Like,
- 16:44Speaker 1: let's let's.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Talk about that.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So okay, So first things first.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Okay, hold on actually real quick who wrote that storyline
- 16:52Speaker 1: of you guys like stealing the wind because it's.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Pretty cool the American Dream Death they rode.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And he just saw you guys, and you're like, these
- 16:58Speaker 1: guys are such cool, baby.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Young Dusty never told and I ended up spending a
- 17:04Speaker 3: lot of time with Dusty and fc W, but we
- 17:05Speaker 3: were never told to our faces, but a lot enough
- 17:09Speaker 3: of the boys told us that like, Dusty's the one
- 17:11Speaker 3: who wanted us. He he cherry picked us out of
- 17:13Speaker 3: Deep South. He thought we had like a cool old
- 17:16Speaker 3: school vibe. I guess yep. And he wanted to recreate
- 17:20Speaker 3: the Mulkies basically, and that's why we're supposed to be
- 17:23Speaker 3: locals and we get this big win and that that
- 17:28Speaker 3: was like his vision, and then that was just supposed
- 17:30Speaker 3: to be like the introduction to us. And then like
- 17:33Speaker 3: they were supposed to put like Mike Knox with this
- 17:36Speaker 3: guy Derek Knykirk who's tagging with in Deep South, and
- 17:38Speaker 3: they were supposed to be managed by Angel William and like
- 17:40Speaker 3: there's supposed to be like adding tag teams d CW
- 17:44Speaker 3: for everyone to work with, and that never happened.
- 17:46Speaker 2: A tag team division and it doesn't happen.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Right, So there's no tag teams. You guys have nothing
- 17:50Speaker 1: to do.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Really, there's literally nothing worked like Striker one on one.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I worked Elage of Burke one on one.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And there's just not much for us to do that.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I don't know if we have. Do we ever wrest good?
- 18:02Speaker 3: I'm sure we did, but I don't know, like there's
- 18:06Speaker 3: there's there was, there's nothing for us to do. Get
- 18:08Speaker 3: We get drafted in like June or July, so that's
- 18:11Speaker 3: not long. We get drafted. And this is like back
- 18:14Speaker 3: in the day.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I remember Nova stood off and we're gonna get drafted,
- 18:18Speaker 2: and then you had to go to like ww dot com.
- 18:21Speaker 2: But think about this, it was on a razor phone.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Imagin trying to go to w W dot com on
- 18:24Speaker 2: the phone to find out the fate of your shoot career.
- 18:30Speaker 3: My god, the draft, I mean, I don't know all
- 18:33Speaker 3: the drafts were like a shoot that we ever did, at.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Least for me.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Maybe like Roman reigns New Yeah, maybe Roman knows what
- 18:38Speaker 3: he's doing, but like everyone else, I mean, yeah, it's
- 18:40Speaker 3: fucking crazy. I remember one year I got like sent home.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm fired, but I got drafted. It was
- 18:45Speaker 3: so like weird and then like that, I remember it.
- 18:50Speaker 3: It had to be that when we landed, and that's
- 18:52Speaker 3: when Mark Henry lived in New York at the time,
- 18:53Speaker 3: and we were like, yo, Mark, you got drafted. Was
- 18:55Speaker 3: like serious. We had to like tell him, yeah, she's
- 19:01Speaker 3: what the fuck man? I never forget that, like you
- 19:03Speaker 3: didn't know. Yeah, that's when he had that ACW run.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And then so this run until the edgeheads.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Well, so okay, So then we get drafted to SmackDown
- 19:15Speaker 2: and I believe it.
- 19:16Speaker 3: But it's the same show because it's the same schedule
- 19:18Speaker 3: and all that shit.
- 19:18Speaker 2: But it's like, I guess, a new opportunity. And they
- 19:20Speaker 2: did give us a couple of vignettes, at least one
- 19:22Speaker 2: vignette Majors coming to SmackDown, and I.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Remember the ben Wa weekend and then it was optional
- 19:32Speaker 3: to like to go to SmackDown, and we went to
- 19:34Speaker 3: smack Down, but we weren't booked. We were just there
- 19:37Speaker 3: and then Stephanie said something like guys, don't worry, vignette
- 19:40Speaker 3: next week or whatever, and it did air, okay, and
- 19:43Speaker 3: it was just like the most generic, horrible vignette.
- 19:46Speaker 1: And then so what was it?
- 19:47Speaker 3: It?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Like, what was it.
- 19:48Speaker 3: It's like video clips of us doing like arm drags
- 19:51Speaker 3: across bodies and it's our song like let's go the
- 19:54Speaker 3: Major Brothers coming pretty pretty brutal.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So our first match, I believe it's Dallas.
- 20:00Speaker 3: In Dallas, Yeah, that's where I knocked out the extra.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Okay, And the problem is this like local extra talent,
- 20:05Speaker 2: Like some guys are guys who really deserve to be there,
- 20:08Speaker 2: and some guys should burn their boots. And these guys
- 20:12Speaker 2: like they're supposed to make us look better, they made
- 20:15Speaker 2: us look worse.
- 20:15Speaker 3: They didn't like see it that way. They saw it
- 20:18Speaker 3: was like their big opportunity, like a bumping feed.
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's called a bump and feed because you're bumping in
- 20:22Speaker 2: your feeding, and that's one motherfucker's not bumping and feeding.
- 20:25Speaker 3: He was like, dude, he like pumped up, like oiled.
- 20:27Speaker 3: He just did a lot of things that you could
- 20:29Speaker 3: tell like, oh.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he had like flames on his gear.
- 20:31Speaker 3: The other thing I remember is that I don't know why,
- 20:34Speaker 3: but John Cena was there and it's one of the
- 20:35Speaker 3: first times he ever like really interacted with us, and
- 20:37Speaker 3: he was like this, you guys have a squash and
- 20:39Speaker 3: it or whatever. Really. Yeah, He's like, this is your match.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Make sure you take over, like, don't give him shit.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Beat the fuck out of him. Basically not saying that,
- 20:47Speaker 3: but he said that. And then I always to this day,
- 20:49Speaker 3: I don't know if I was too fired up and
- 20:51Speaker 3: I was like lacing this dude or he was just
- 20:53Speaker 3: like the drizzling shits and couldn't bump and feed. Yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 3: that's bad, it's also okay. This is also it's like
- 21:02Speaker 3: a five or seven minute babyface squash matches the shits, yes,
- 21:06Speaker 3: And we went home like crazy early for that, like
- 21:08Speaker 3: Brisco's pissed, bro, like three maybe maybe three minutes early,
- 21:12Speaker 3: and we're like fuck it, like what else we supposed
- 21:13Speaker 3: to do? And we get back to the back and
- 21:15Speaker 3: Gerald briscoll mesis right the curtain. He's screaming at us
- 21:18Speaker 3: like you fucking have times, you stick to your time
- 21:20Speaker 3: like that kind of shit. We're like whoa, and he's right,
- 21:24Speaker 3: that's like, yeah, that's not that, that's pro wrestling, Like
- 21:27Speaker 3: you have times, that's part of the art, Like you
- 21:29Speaker 3: have to stick to it. And then, like I think
- 21:31Speaker 3: even in the lecture he was giving us, he's like, well,
- 21:33Speaker 3: guess what now, like undertake us to do three more
- 21:35Speaker 3: minutes because you didn't do it. Like that's not you know,
- 21:38Speaker 3: not fair and not how I was like, okay, shit.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I don't know if it's the next week, but it's
- 21:42Speaker 2: it's very shortly thereafter, we're wrestling Chavo Guerrero, who's the
- 21:47Speaker 2: Cruisery champion, and Jamie Noble. Now, first Jamie Noble, he
- 21:51Speaker 2: doesn't want to work us. We're meeting him, but then
- 21:52Speaker 2: he's like, y'all from tough enough right, something like that,
- 21:54Speaker 2: but he's already pissed.
- 21:56Speaker 3: That's one of my favorites.
- 21:56Speaker 2: And then he's like double pissed because they say, oh,
- 22:00Speaker 2: basically say like you're not important enough to pin, so
- 22:02Speaker 2: we're gonna pin Chavo Guerrero. And then trav Gurel's pissed
- 22:04Speaker 2: because he's cruiz of a champion. He's losing to us.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It's like everyone's pissed. They don't want to be in
- 22:08Speaker 2: the match, they don't want to call it, and like
- 22:10Speaker 2: it's a just it's it's just not good. We blow
- 22:12Speaker 2: a spot and then like they don't edit it on
- 22:15Speaker 2: the show.
- 22:17Speaker 3: To this day, I'm like blown away by that.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, very weird.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Yes, like I think we get flustered.
- 22:22Speaker 3: We try to just do it sure, like the first
- 22:25Speaker 3: it's the first thing, and it goes bad and then
- 22:26Speaker 3: we're just flustered and just it is a bad combo
- 22:30Speaker 3: of like super green dudes like us and grizzled veterans
- 22:33Speaker 3: who are not are checked out on the whole situation,
- 22:36Speaker 3: you know, and not motivated, but bad comba.
- 22:38Speaker 2: I think we're flustered before him. We're supposed to do
- 22:40Speaker 2: something with with with Jamie like a double leap frog,
- 22:43Speaker 2: but somehow Chave's in there, so we try to do
- 22:44Speaker 2: with Chavo anyway, and like what the he like rolls
- 22:47Speaker 2: through it like a pro like just like rolls literally
- 22:49Speaker 2: rolls under.
- 22:50Speaker 3: The We're just so green like and just you know,
- 22:52Speaker 3: once one thing goes off the rails, it's just like right,
- 22:55Speaker 3: oh for.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Sure, and I don't recall ever getting back on track
- 22:59Speaker 2: after that.
- 23:00Speaker 3: It's just not a great match.
- 23:01Speaker 2: No, I mean like Major Brothers doing anything.
- 23:04Speaker 3: No, there's just randomly and it's in Bakersfield because I
- 23:07Speaker 3: always think of Bakersfield. We randomly win this Battle Royal
- 23:09Speaker 3: to open the show, and then we think in our
- 23:12Speaker 3: minds it's like this big opportunity to work MVP and
- 23:15Speaker 3: Matt Hardy.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Something happened. It was supposed to be on Long Island
- 23:19Speaker 2: the week before and someone was hurt, so we end
- 23:21Speaker 2: up working like Ducent Domino in a dark and then
- 23:23Speaker 2: it happens the next week in Bakersfield.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I don't remember that detail of it, but I thought
- 23:27Speaker 3: it was just the most random thing ever.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But we did go on our first overseas tour before that,
- 23:31Speaker 2: work in Duson Domino in like Australia, Singapore and Pland that's.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Why I said we worked like seven days a week
- 23:36Speaker 3: because even if we were on all the live events,
- 23:40Speaker 3: we'd work like Dave Taylor and Paul Burchill, yeah for
- 23:43Speaker 3: the most part, or eventually later on Jesse Andmphestis. But
- 23:47Speaker 3: then if we weren't on that, we'd have to go
- 23:49Speaker 3: to these OVW live events which were like.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Shits, which was like.
- 23:53Speaker 3: One of the reasons Deep South closed was because Jody
- 23:56Speaker 3: Hamilton wasn't trying to like grow it or get us
- 23:59Speaker 3: the that we needed to everyone needed to become better wrestlers.
- 24:03Speaker 3: He didn't want to spend the money or take a
- 24:05Speaker 3: gamble and running a show OBW was like the complete opposite, Bro.
- 24:09Speaker 3: They had a full three three sometimes four shows a weekend,
- 24:13Speaker 3: like and they're like kind of deep drives, you know,
- 24:16Speaker 3: two three hours, and then there are these little like
- 24:19Speaker 3: podunk Towns offense and there'd be like fifty people there,
- 24:23Speaker 3: maybe forty people, and we'd give him a full card
- 24:26Speaker 3: and like, I mean, I don't regret or anything. There
- 24:28Speaker 3: was a lot of like great learning experiences from some
- 24:31Speaker 3: of those matches and stuff. But like you were working, Bro,
- 24:34Speaker 3: like working.
- 24:35Speaker 1: So help me figure out because I'm having a hard
- 24:38Speaker 1: time with the time frame here.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Debut and May and may get drafted like June or
- 24:45Speaker 2: July and the whole and just kind of floating till December. Yeah, and.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Things happen.
- 24:51Speaker 3: It is literally like I go home for Christmas for that, right.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Now there are there like there are times where
- 24:58Speaker 2: like now it's like a weirdynamic like E. C. W
- 25:01Speaker 2: and SmackDown are like on the same show. So sometimes
- 25:04Speaker 2: we're working like uh miss and Morrison, Like I remember,
- 25:07Speaker 2: like towards the end, like we tried being a little
- 25:10Speaker 2: more like edging Christian, like not like healish, but like
- 25:13Speaker 2: at least they gave us at least one like backstage
- 25:16Speaker 2: like a box, like a box promo, and I started
- 25:19Speaker 2: I started wearing like a beanie. That's like major brothers.
- 25:22Speaker 2: You start wearing like that, like sleeve shirt, just do whatever.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Uh I lost my train of thought. Uh oh, when
- 25:34Speaker 1: does the ov W thing stop?
- 25:36Speaker 3: It doesn't stop till, like I think, right before thangiving.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, holy cow.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember drawing. I drove the U haul with
- 25:46Speaker 3: all their stuff back to Long Island it was and
- 25:49Speaker 3: asking to get out. We asked Johnny a lot. I
- 25:51Speaker 3: think that got to the point where like he kept
- 25:53Speaker 3: us there because we kept asking like like please, like
- 25:57Speaker 3: we're working seventy like Alison doesn't like us.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Been a pretty bad experience. Why they finally gave us
- 26:02Speaker 2: this light.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't even know why he did that because
- 26:05Speaker 3: we had nothing going on. Yeah, but I think we
- 26:08Speaker 3: just would ask every month, like once a month.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And like we found out we left immediately.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Oh. That was another thing I always thought. I still
- 26:14Speaker 3: kind of think that if you're in developmental and you
- 26:18Speaker 3: called up, you have to move because then things will
- 26:20Speaker 3: be expected of you, like because you live in the town,
- 26:23Speaker 3: you know what I mean, to keep doing stuff.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and then what was the final straw like to
- 26:33Speaker 1: finally let you.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Guys, That's what I'm thinking.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Remember, I literally think we just because we had asked so.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Much, got it all right now.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Most guys like Brosky's right, like okay, like Cody got
- 26:48Speaker 3: called up right when we did, but he got he
- 26:49Speaker 3: got to leave.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Like he got the Cody treat.
- 26:51Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. He got like an immediate like okay,
- 26:53Speaker 3: you don't have to be there anymore, and he left,
- 26:55Speaker 3: and then we're just still just like.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Like completely on average people there for ninety days three months.
- 27:00Speaker 2: At most times earlier they because here's the thing, we
- 27:03Speaker 2: would get the free hotels and cars on the road
- 27:06Speaker 2: for the ninety days. But then what happened was they
- 27:08Speaker 2: took that away, so we still had to go to
- 27:10Speaker 2: OBW Yeah geesh. Yeah, So it was like, well, what
- 27:15Speaker 2: do we do it here? Yeah, it's rough.
- 27:17Speaker 1: All right, let's ask some fan questions.
- 27:20Speaker 3: And you're not getting developmental pay.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And you're not getting developmental pay, right, that's insane. So
- 27:24Speaker 2: you seriously like, okay, let's say let's say it's a
- 27:27Speaker 2: loop where we're not on ww live events. We just
- 27:30Speaker 2: go to smack Down. We have to do all the
- 27:31Speaker 2: OBW live events, we get five hundred bucks for that
- 27:33Speaker 2: week wrestling four times.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Like and here's another like thing where like if I
- 27:38Speaker 3: ever had to have this argument with them, like al
- 27:39Speaker 3: Snow like did not like us. We're WW talent roster guys. Talent.
- 27:44Speaker 3: How many people do you think are on OBW sixty seventy.
- 27:48Speaker 3: He made us one day go pick up these football
- 27:51Speaker 3: players from the airport that we're having tryouts. Oh my god,
- 27:54Speaker 3: I remember that. So we had to go to the airport,
- 27:56Speaker 3: like we split it up, like I think it was
- 27:58Speaker 3: like six times we split up. I went through time
- 28:00Speaker 3: and he went some times to get these different football
- 28:01Speaker 3: players who we didn't know, picked them up and like
- 28:04Speaker 3: take them to their hotel and show them where to
- 28:06Speaker 3: go whatever. And he like just made us think about it,
- 28:08Speaker 3: like he could have asked anyone, but he made us
- 28:10Speaker 3: do it because he's just like f these guys. But
- 28:13Speaker 3: we we had bad attitudes anyway, So I don't really
- 28:15Speaker 3: blame him, but like we just wasn't a good experience,
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah for sure. All right.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Fan questions Aaron Ortiz, who was who were the most
- 28:26Speaker 1: welcoming in the locker room at first?
- 28:29Speaker 3: Cody when we get to ov W, which is all
- 28:31Speaker 3: the same time. That same week we went to Hooters.
- 28:35Speaker 2: He paid for it is Oleg there.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Olegg was always our boy though Oleg is Vladimir Coslov.
- 28:42Speaker 2: He was I don't remember the Hooters name. With Cody,
- 28:43Speaker 2: Cody took us the whole roster's there.
- 28:46Speaker 3: But Cody pays for our bill and like welcomes us
- 28:49Speaker 3: and like this whole thown. Never forget that. Yeah wow.
- 28:53Speaker 3: For whatever reason, Like right away we hit it off
- 28:55Speaker 3: with Chris Cage, who ended up being Kaylen Croft right
- 29:00Speaker 3: who was just just a great dude, like just a
- 29:02Speaker 3: total brother and like he's like a fanboy, like you
- 29:06Speaker 3: can quote, you know, be on the mat and funny
- 29:08Speaker 3: shit with you, and like we just hit off with
- 29:10Speaker 3: him right away, and we kind of like and he
- 29:11Speaker 3: had been OVW forever, like he was I think he
- 29:14Speaker 3: worked lessner like he was in OVWS for so long,
- 29:17Speaker 3: so like he really had to lay of the land.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Was he signed then or does he get signed in FCW,
- 29:22Speaker 2: he's he signed unsigned and get signed again.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's unsigned. He got fired for like a
- 29:28Speaker 3: drug overdose when he was about to get called up
- 29:31Speaker 3: with MS right and then he's he when we met him,
- 29:34Speaker 3: he's working his way.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Back and then where does he get signed?
- 29:37Speaker 3: Though? He gets signed, Like when we're gone, he goes
- 29:40Speaker 3: FCW Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Bob Holly not one of those people.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Absolutely not, I think if you're asking like Maine Roster
- 29:48Speaker 2: people who was very well.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I mean like Ben Wah that story, like Ben Wall
- 29:54Speaker 3: like was cool and when he once he realized that
- 29:57Speaker 3: we were like fans and really respected the business, he
- 29:59Speaker 3: was like.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Pretty we asked ben Wah to get into the locker room, yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 2: because like I said, you couldn't just get into the
- 30:04Speaker 2: locker room. So a month or so in we had
- 30:06Speaker 2: to ask ben Wah.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Right even for sure. Initially he was just trying to
- 30:11Speaker 3: get the free car like punk and then we all
- 30:14Speaker 3: became buddies and rode with him for like years basically Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 3: but at first he literally was just oh, A lot
- 30:20Speaker 3: of guys would do this, like when people get called
- 30:22Speaker 3: up like Broscus saying you get that free car, you
- 30:24Speaker 3: get a free hotel for ninety days. So people just
- 30:26Speaker 3: latch onto you and they're not really being sincerely nice.
- 30:30Speaker 3: They just want the free amenities. Like Eliza Berg. Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 3: it's like yeah, which people take advantage of you, and
- 30:35Speaker 3: Punk for sure initially was doing that, but we all
- 30:38Speaker 3: became pretty good friends.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Right, it makes total sense, Dave Wonder, This is Dave
- 30:45Speaker 1: Wheeler being hardcore, being hardcore wrestling fans, your entire lives.
- 30:49Speaker 1: What lived up to your expectations and what if anything
- 30:53Speaker 1: fell short or let you down on the main roster.
- 30:56Speaker 1: That's a great question.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Initially, I know what let me down was, Like I thought,
- 31:00Speaker 2: for sure, like they're gonna make us a T shirt
- 31:02Speaker 2: and stuff, like to be able to choose our music. Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 2: we didn't get any say in the music. There was
- 31:07Speaker 2: no merch. I don't, I don't.
- 31:12Speaker 3: We're not idiots, though, like I think we realized really
- 31:15Speaker 3: quickly there was no plans. I mean quick.
- 31:19Speaker 2: We had done a handful of full blown live event
- 31:23Speaker 2: loops WWE live event loops, and then you would go
- 31:26Speaker 2: to TV, so we kind of like already knew what
- 31:28Speaker 2: it was like at TV.
- 31:29Speaker 1: God, you know, so the catering you got already?
- 31:33Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, And then I think really also is like
- 31:37Speaker 3: and I don't think I even like really understood it
- 31:40Speaker 3: back then because I was so young and naive to
- 31:42Speaker 3: like financial stuff. The money is not like I'm sure
- 31:46Speaker 3: people think you're w W and you're making this like
- 31:48Speaker 3: life change.
- 31:49Speaker 2: You're not making this. You're getting five hundred bucks.
- 31:53Speaker 3: A day.
- 31:55Speaker 2: In theory, in theory more, but you're frigging paying for
- 32:00Speaker 2: a rental with a huge drop Buffy because you're dropping
- 32:03Speaker 2: it nowhere near where you picked it up, and you're
- 32:05Speaker 2: paying for all your food on the road, you're paying
- 32:07Speaker 2: for hotels.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Every night, and you know that all really adds up
- 32:12Speaker 3: against that money that you're making on the loop.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So, like, here's something we maybe maybe said before. So
- 32:16Speaker 2: for instance, the week before The Edge has debut, let's
- 32:20Speaker 2: say we're doing nothing on SmackDown five hundred bucks, right,
- 32:23Speaker 2: So then we do Armageddon the main event, help Edge
- 32:26Speaker 2: become the world Heayway champion, beat up the Undertaker, beat
- 32:29Speaker 2: up Patista. I'm thinking, holy shit, we're going to be rich.
- 32:32Speaker 2: We're gonna be rich. But the pay per view check
- 32:34Speaker 2: takes like two to three months to come. It finally
- 32:36Speaker 2: comes five hundred bucks.
- 32:38Speaker 3: So we're just like, what's the point again, pushed, Yeah,
- 32:41Speaker 3: it's because downside was so low. Now as it was
- 32:44Speaker 3: so low, they didn't have to judge that. That's how
- 32:46Speaker 3: they like, there was no reason to pay us a
- 32:47Speaker 3: lot of money because they don't really have to, you know.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Wow, So our downside what people don't know what downside?
- 32:54Speaker 2: We were just talking about this earlier, about something. So
- 32:56Speaker 2: when we get signed to Developmental, we're making five hundred
- 32:59Speaker 2: bucks a week, so let's do the on that five.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I think it's like twenty six k.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Fifty two. It's twenty six k. Yeah, now for a
- 33:06Speaker 2: thirty six year old man. I wouldn't be able to
- 33:08Speaker 2: live with that twenty one year old kid. I thought
- 33:10Speaker 2: I was a dollar build.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Thought I was making like, you know, nothing as an
- 33:16Speaker 2: house born of the Delhi or you know, Montana's pizza
- 33:20Speaker 2: on tips.
- 33:21Speaker 3: But then real life slaps in the face and rent
- 33:23Speaker 3: and like I said, these these expenses on the road
- 33:25Speaker 3: which are just like nothing that did you ever think
- 33:27Speaker 3: about it?
- 33:28Speaker 2: But then we get that raise, baby, once I get
- 33:30Speaker 2: signed to the main roster, fifty two thousand a week.
- 33:34Speaker 3: No a year a year, A year, A year a year,
- 33:38Speaker 3: people think you pretty cool. That's what people think. Year
- 33:41Speaker 3: a year, year, that's our guarantee.
- 33:43Speaker 1: No, I totally get it. I know when I graduated college,
- 33:47Speaker 1: first job, I got sixteen thousan an hour when they
- 33:49Speaker 1: told her.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Are you doing that? No merch, no extras? Fifty two
- 33:52Speaker 3: if you minus road expenses on that, we made like nothing,
- 33:56Speaker 3: probably nothing.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Like what what what would you estimate if fifty year
- 34:00Speaker 1: you made what's road expenses for a year? I mean
- 34:02Speaker 1: you must be.
- 34:03Speaker 3: On that hotels, hotels, food, who it's nuts?
- 34:08Speaker 1: Were you guys like real cheap with the hotel stuff?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Would you stay?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah? That was like yes, looking back on it, one
- 34:15Speaker 3: of the most fun aspects of being on the road
- 34:17Speaker 3: and the camaraderie. And and I don't know, maybe Bersky
- 34:21Speaker 3: can answer the question this, but like so I get
- 34:23Speaker 3: fired in twenty fourteen, and then I get rehired in
- 34:26Speaker 3: twenty sixteen, and I'm like, who's riding with? Who? Who's
- 34:30Speaker 3: gonna And I'm asking around and everyone's like nobody shares
- 34:33Speaker 3: a room? What are you talking?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Right?
- 34:35Speaker 3: What happened?
- 34:35Speaker 2: It was like a change first, like while we're on
- 34:38Speaker 2: the road. First of all, GPS's come out, yeah, like
- 34:41Speaker 2: the garment stuff like that which we once got robbed for.
- 34:44Speaker 2: But then like okay, then like price line negotiator comes
- 34:48Speaker 2: out there, I'm gonna make this.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Deal with Like these are like game changing like we're.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Gonna make these deals, right, but like you don't know
- 34:54Speaker 2: what hotel you're going to stay at. And then like
- 34:57Speaker 2: throughout I don't know what who made like the switch
- 35:00Speaker 2: where it all started changing. Everyone just started like becoming
- 35:02Speaker 2: like Marriott guys where they'd pay like almost sometimes double
- 35:06Speaker 2: the price, but like you get points and like you
- 35:09Speaker 2: don't have to worry about late checkouts and something.
- 35:11Speaker 3: The perks are worth it, at least with Marriott, because
- 35:14Speaker 3: we all did it. But then and then also once
- 35:16Speaker 3: you go back, once you go to your room to yourself,
- 35:19Speaker 3: you can't go back because you can't catch the travel
- 35:23Speaker 3: so much, the bumps whatever to walk into your own room,
- 35:26Speaker 3: and the privacy, even if it's just for a couple
- 35:28Speaker 3: of hours, it's like you almost can't put a price,
- 35:30Speaker 3: and it's hard to go back to the day, to
- 35:33Speaker 3: go back to four guys in a room and all
- 35:35Speaker 3: that bullshit.
- 35:36Speaker 2: At one point, me Morrison, maybe not Morrison because he
- 35:40Speaker 2: leaves one point, so me, Miss and Ziggler would just
- 35:43Speaker 2: ride together so often that we never settled up like
- 35:47Speaker 2: like maybe like for the first weeks, you want me
- 35:48Speaker 2: to this room, and then eventually like well fuck it,
- 35:50Speaker 2: Like I never ever to this day with Ziggler, because
- 35:54Speaker 2: it all evened out in theory eventually.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Like you drove one and you drove one or whatever.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Or paid, you know what I'm saying. But like even
- 36:02Speaker 2: till the day was released, me and Zigger were still
- 36:04Speaker 2: old school at split a room. Oh right, we were
- 36:09Speaker 2: just in that routie. But no one else was like
- 36:11Speaker 2: Brian sand Brian Leaves. Yeah, it's like every and which
- 36:14Speaker 2: I prefer. I prefer my own room. I prefer to
- 36:16Speaker 2: ride alone the whole.
- 36:18Speaker 3: For years, it would either be like us with Jesse
- 36:22Speaker 3: and Festus in a room all four of us, or
- 36:24Speaker 3: us with like Punk and Swaggle in a room like always,
- 36:27Speaker 3: like just always Punk. It was never an option, like
- 36:31Speaker 3: no one ever, no one ever sag yeahoggle on the top. Yeah, dude.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I remember one time, and I'll leave this person's name
- 36:37Speaker 3: out of this. One of the guys got a girl
- 36:40Speaker 3: and there was so many of us in the room.
- 36:41Speaker 3: We all hid while these guys are hooking up, and
- 36:44Speaker 3: it was like pretty comical, but like there's at least
- 36:46Speaker 3: five or six us hiding in the closets, are behind
- 36:48Speaker 3: drapes or underbeds and ship while this guy's hooking up
- 36:50Speaker 3: with a girl. I'm thinking that's how many of us
- 36:51Speaker 3: are heard this fucking room because they're so cheap, you know,
- 36:54Speaker 3: or just trying to save money. Whatever.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I see. I can't wrap my head around even enjoying. Look,
- 37:00Speaker 1: I love being with my buds, but I don't know
- 37:03Speaker 1: if I would enjoy staying a room.
- 37:04Speaker 3: With sometimes And I look back on it, like and
- 37:06Speaker 3: that's not exactly how it went. But in my mind,
- 37:08Speaker 3: it's like if we were Jesse Festus, we literally would
- 37:12Speaker 3: do the show Race to the Town, ask like where
- 37:15Speaker 3: people are going out? Go out all night? Do the
- 37:18Speaker 3: show Race to the Town, like to repeat, like figure
- 37:22Speaker 3: out where everyone's going out, you know whatever, at least
- 37:24Speaker 3: like the Friday Saturday nights, you know, and then like
- 37:27Speaker 3: do you take it easy on Sunday to go into
- 37:29Speaker 3: the TV you know kind of deal.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Well, back to that question, was there anything that like
- 37:33Speaker 1: lived up to your expectations that was like, oh, yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 1: this is this is great? Like maybe the crowds, I
- 37:41Speaker 1: don't know, you know.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean the first time, like ever
- 37:45Speaker 2: going overseas was really cool because I never left the
- 37:48Speaker 2: country before. Then we're going to like Singapore and I'm
- 37:53Speaker 2: going to get a massage wink in the hotel and
- 37:56Speaker 2: I see Flair coming out of the room before me.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Do you remember, Like again, that's early on. It was
- 38:05Speaker 3: probably before we debut and we were doing like darks
- 38:07Speaker 3: and stuff. And then like Saboo is in the airport
- 38:10Speaker 3: giving us advice the next day and he's drinking. It's
- 38:12Speaker 3: like six am in the airport and he's drinking a
- 38:14Speaker 3: beer and he like spilt it on us, like talking
- 38:17Speaker 3: to us, and he's like, oh, sorry about that, and
- 38:19Speaker 3: then we're like, oh, it's okay. He's like, I don't
- 38:20Speaker 3: care about your shoeses, like I'm more concerned I wasted
- 38:23Speaker 3: half a beer or something like. It's just like surreal,
- 38:26Speaker 3: like to be all so brothered out like that.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Making of airport. There was a dress code. You had
- 38:31Speaker 2: to wear a business casual like you cannot wear a hat.
- 38:34Speaker 2: You can wear you can wear hats, dress shoes everywhere,
- 38:38Speaker 2: always wild. So you had to buy that stuff too.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Keep that in mind.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that goes into your expenses. On top of.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Gear, basketball shorts and major pod.
- 38:46Speaker 2: You'd be fine every impact.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I bring nice clothes and I maybe wear one shirt
- 38:52Speaker 3: the first day I've done.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I'm walking into Slammiversary in a fucking suit.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Of course you were a mark.
- 39:00Speaker 1: All right, Brian Culp. Were any other names discussed during
- 39:06Speaker 1: the call up process? What was your opinions on being brothers?
- 39:10Speaker 1: Two questions? Other names?
- 39:11Speaker 3: That was a DeMott thing we've covered.
- 39:13Speaker 2: He just said it brothers are like week one developmental ye,
- 39:17Speaker 2: which we were fine with it because there was something
- 39:19Speaker 2: and back then we really did it was people believed
- 39:22Speaker 2: it for whatever reason.
- 39:23Speaker 3: It's hard. It's hard to believe now, but people people
- 39:25Speaker 3: can tell us part for years on the main roster,
- 39:28Speaker 3: people were seeing every week, so I guess there was
- 39:32Speaker 3: something to that where it worked. And like I said,
- 39:35Speaker 3: besides dropping the s, there wasn't It wasn't really much.
- 39:39Speaker 2: No like but we we had talked about the developmental stuff.
- 39:41Speaker 2: We we really wanted to be like heels baby faces
- 39:46Speaker 2: that were so cheesy that were heels, but we were
- 39:48Speaker 2: baby faces that were so cheesy that they wanted to
- 39:50Speaker 2: be baby faces. And I was never comfortable in my
- 39:54Speaker 2: own skin doing that. And I think it shows if
- 39:57Speaker 2: you go back and watch it right.
- 40:01Speaker 1: And then the what what was your opinions on being
- 40:05Speaker 1: brothers were you like in on it. Were you happy.
- 40:08Speaker 3: Having like a negative thought about it?
- 40:10Speaker 2: I think when it was first like presented, it was like,
- 40:12Speaker 2: oh I never really thought about that. Yeah it was fine,
- 40:15Speaker 2: and like I think the thing was that we were
- 40:17Speaker 2: the twins that weren't like identical, so like, yeah, it
- 40:19Speaker 2: had the backstory was that fraternal I don't.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Know, Jonathan Willhelm, when you got just called up and
- 40:29Speaker 1: now had to travel each week, did you ride together
- 40:32Speaker 1: most times or did you have certain people you traveled
- 40:34Speaker 1: with more frequently always together?
- 40:36Speaker 2: And we kind of just answered that, yeah, we together, Yeah.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Us two always together, and then it would vary from
- 40:42Speaker 3: like Jesse and Festus, Domino, Punk and Swaggle, some kind
- 40:45Speaker 3: of combination.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I definitely recall riding with Morrison once. He was one
- 40:49Speaker 2: of those guys who used this for the freaking.
- 40:51Speaker 3: One loop we did with Morrison early on.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Punk Elijah Burg. I think we rode with once.
- 40:56Speaker 3: And then we said never again, ever again. Uh think
- 40:59Speaker 3: what else?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Maybe a couple of one time we rode with fucking
- 41:03Speaker 2: Super Crazy and Kendrick like and that was another never again.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Armando Estrada would be in the car every once in
- 41:11Speaker 3: a while.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Okay, we stayed at his house once and he like, yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 2: I remember he introduced us to like that fiber cereal,
- 41:20Speaker 2: which is probably like normal now, but it came out
- 41:23Speaker 2: at the times like, oh my god, fiber Cereal.
- 41:25Speaker 3: That's a weird memory. I remember saying that we met
- 41:27Speaker 3: his dad and yeah, it's very nice.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, this is a good one, Marshall. Between you
- 41:34Speaker 1: guys and the w W who was the first to
- 41:37Speaker 1: bring up making action figures of you? Did WDB come
- 41:40Speaker 1: to you? Did you go to ww.
- 41:43Speaker 3: MM?
- 41:45Speaker 2: So I remember that at one point we almost get
- 41:48Speaker 2: fired because we're not doing anything of importance on the
- 41:51Speaker 2: main roster and we're having problems down in Deep South,
- 41:54Speaker 2: and I'm sorry in OBW Johnny has connus and think
- 41:58Speaker 2: he's calling me like a bitch, and he's like.
- 42:00Speaker 3: This is the wrist tape scenario, that whole thing like, and.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I'm thinking about, like, oh my god, if they fire
- 42:07Speaker 2: us right now, we never got action figures.
- 42:09Speaker 1: But why is Johnny Ace calling you a bit?
- 42:12Speaker 3: Because Al Snow sent in like a complaint about us
- 42:15Speaker 3: or something about it or incident report. I believe it
- 42:18Speaker 3: is what it was.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Listen so we could have a whole podcast long soory short,
- 42:21Speaker 2: it's either Taz or jbl or maybe one of them
- 42:24Speaker 2: told us to start taping up our fists look a
- 42:26Speaker 2: little tougher. We do in O b W. We get
- 42:28Speaker 2: in trouble then, like I remember, we tell Johnny about
- 42:31Speaker 2: it and he's like laughing it off, blah blah blah.
- 42:33Speaker 2: And then like when al al like gets pissed us again,
- 42:36Speaker 2: I remember you say, well, Johnny said we could do
- 42:38Speaker 2: it or something.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Probably I'm like, I didn't.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Like, we get this another big fight with al And
- 42:44Speaker 2: and Robert and we apologize, but what happens is like
- 42:47Speaker 2: Al like still writes us up behind our back.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Yes, when he said he wasn't gonna or he said
- 42:52Speaker 3: this was the end of it or whatever, and then
- 42:54Speaker 3: of course he didn't.
- 42:58Speaker 2: All I can think about is, oh my god, we're not.
- 43:00Speaker 3: And I've always thought our first Jacks figures are like
- 43:05Speaker 3: major brother faces.
- 43:06Speaker 2: I do too. Yeah, And at the time I generally
- 43:10Speaker 2: didn't understand why we weren't getting because like brother Bash
- 43:12Speaker 2: are getting them Gemini.
- 43:15Speaker 3: In the Jacks era, they made people pretty quick and
- 43:17Speaker 3: like everybody.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I definitely think there are major brother faces.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, Marcus Avatilla what tag teams did you most
- 43:32Speaker 1: want to work with when you guys first got called up?
- 43:34Speaker 3: So you yes, I remember like we worked we had
- 43:39Speaker 3: started to work with ducing Dominos so much that it
- 43:41Speaker 3: became like you know, where things are clicking, and then
- 43:44Speaker 3: we were like we got drafted to SmackDown and we
- 43:46Speaker 3: were literally the only two teams. So we'd pitch stuff
- 43:49Speaker 3: every week and then like we'd get this like bizarre
- 43:52Speaker 3: ww excuse, like, oh, that's that's a layup to do that,
- 43:55Speaker 3: it's too easy? What does that? What does that mean? Like?
- 43:59Speaker 3: What are we supposed to do?
- 44:00Speaker 2: I liked working miss Morrison because they gave us stuff
- 44:03Speaker 2: that's true, and they had ideas and they were like
- 44:05Speaker 2: over so it helped us as opposed to like And
- 44:07Speaker 2: also I really love working like Paul Burchell and Dave
- 44:10Speaker 2: Taylor because what would happen on the live events, Like okay,
- 44:14Speaker 2: maybe they don't know us for but like the national
- 44:16Speaker 2: anthem is playing and all of a sudden it gets
- 44:17Speaker 2: cut off by Dave Taylor's and then him and fucking
- 44:22Speaker 2: Paul Burch about waving like British flags.
- 44:25Speaker 3: They trying to sing God Save the Queen. We run
- 44:28Speaker 3: in and stop them, and we maybe cut a quick
- 44:31Speaker 3: promo saying that you're not going to disrespect America like
- 44:33Speaker 3: that or something, and then then we have this like
- 44:36Speaker 3: very basic but fun.
- 44:38Speaker 2: You couldn't cut off the national anthem.
- 44:40Speaker 3: But if we know, yeah, that's true, but if we
- 44:42Speaker 3: came out to just our music way less Funck's given
- 44:47Speaker 3: about that match, you know, it's just a great way
- 44:48Speaker 3: to set it up where like, okay, it's the opener,
- 44:50Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So it's just always kind
- 44:54Speaker 3: of worked.
- 44:55Speaker 1: People are gonna pop from an armoringer on that one. Yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 1: Brian Culp, did some of the friends of the pod
- 45:04Speaker 1: arrive into your lives yet? Assuming around this period Swoggles Ziggler.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Ziggler's an obscurity post spirit squad. We meet him in
- 45:17Speaker 3: OBW He.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Means like do like a gym like work out together
- 45:20Speaker 2: in He doesn't want to admit this, but I'll ever
- 45:22Speaker 2: forget it. When he picked me up, he had like
- 45:25Speaker 2: the Hogan bear hug like in his car, like it
- 45:27Speaker 2: was either attached to like the steering wheel or like
- 45:30Speaker 2: the stick. He doesn't want to admit that.
- 45:33Speaker 3: The Swagle relationship a million percent starts like that summer
- 45:38Speaker 3: just kind of shooting shit.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I remember, like we first meet him, he gets like
- 45:40Speaker 2: the no look handshake.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Yeah, he already thinks he's a big shot, like he's
- 45:44Speaker 3: been on the road of a year though at this point.
- 45:45Speaker 2: So but yeah, like TJ, we knew from Deep South?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Have you talked to Swoggle about Deep South? Big shot
- 45:53Speaker 1: at you?
- 45:54Speaker 3: He knows, he knows many a man he knows.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Were you guys excited to hang out with Swaggle? Was like,
- 46:00Speaker 1: I can't believe hanging up with Swug?
- 46:01Speaker 3: I think, like I was it. I think we're all
- 46:05Speaker 3: the only guys in the roster the same age ish
- 46:08Speaker 3: right right, because everyone else is just much old that
- 46:10Speaker 3: that was a big difference, Like, dude, were on the roster,
- 46:12Speaker 3: Bob Holly and Chuck Plumbo, Like these are men, you know, those.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Guys on the main roster fifteen years ago or older
- 46:19Speaker 2: than we are right now?
- 46:20Speaker 3: That too, Yeah, think about that.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yeah for sure. Brian Culp, was it easier or harder
- 46:25Speaker 1: to keep collecting and searching for figs once traveling so often?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Great question?
- 46:29Speaker 3: It was more fun because we're like, oh shit, there's
- 46:33Speaker 3: a Walmart. I mean we did that to the we
- 46:35Speaker 3: did it to this day. You know what I mean. Yeah, Literally,
- 46:37Speaker 3: if we go to do a show, we just did
- 46:39Speaker 3: it for AIW. You land, you get something to eat,
- 46:43Speaker 3: you gotta look. You go to Walmart and Target or
- 46:45Speaker 3: somewhere fig hunt, do something, and then go work out.
- 46:48Speaker 3: It's literally we've been doing for.
- 46:49Speaker 2: The fifteen plus years all over the United States. So sometimes,
- 46:52Speaker 2: like corporate Steeve says, there's no distribution problems. I see,
- 46:55Speaker 2: you might be going to like the four Walmarts targets
- 46:58Speaker 2: in your little California area. I'm going all of the
- 47:00Speaker 2: United States.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Yeah. I also do think our perspective is pretty good
- 47:03Speaker 3: because of that.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Michael LiPuma, And at any point in your matches
- 47:09Speaker 1: do you think about Vince watching and how do you
- 47:14Speaker 1: how long do you get over that? And he wrote
- 47:17Speaker 1: this talk terribly and.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Just do what you have to do to is the
- 47:21Speaker 3: question master.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Yeah, of course it's a little nerve wracking when Vince
- 47:24Speaker 2: is watching, But like, what are you gonna do? Like you,
- 47:27Speaker 2: But when you're out there doing it, thinking like is
- 47:30Speaker 2: he watching? That'd be you, that would be insane. And
- 47:33Speaker 2: if it's on TV, nine times out of ten he's
- 47:34Speaker 2: in gorilla watching.
- 47:35Speaker 3: I mean, and but you don't know if he's really
- 47:37Speaker 3: watching or if someone's asking him a question or you know,
- 47:40Speaker 3: or I mean, there's plenty of times I've like he's
- 47:42Speaker 3: in Gorilla and I go out to perform and I
- 47:44Speaker 3: come back and he's gone because something happened or whatever,
- 47:46Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like shit like that. So
- 47:48Speaker 3: no hard feelings, and that's not what's on your mind.
- 47:51Speaker 3: But I will say this, I always think of I
- 47:54Speaker 3: don't even know if this is a true story or
- 47:56Speaker 3: a fable at this point, but like we've always heard
- 47:58Speaker 3: that mister Kennedy was an extra and he was rolling
- 48:01Speaker 3: around the ring and Vince walked past the monitor and
- 48:03Speaker 3: be like is he signed, no, we should we should
- 48:05Speaker 3: do something with this guy or something like just seeing
- 48:06Speaker 3: him wow.
- 48:08Speaker 2: And I've said this before. The whole reason like my
- 48:11Speaker 2: icy title like that, that one or two month thing
- 48:15Speaker 2: happens because Vince was in his office eating a steak
- 48:17Speaker 2: and looked up during main event or Superstars and said,
- 48:20Speaker 2: why aren't we doing something with him, which kind of
- 48:22Speaker 2: snowballed everything. He didn't say, I'm gonna put the Interconal
- 48:25Speaker 2: title on me.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I had a couple times in my last run where
- 48:29Speaker 3: I worked on main Event where I was thinking, like
- 48:32Speaker 3: nobody's ever watching this or whatever, and Vince saw it
- 48:34Speaker 3: would like stop me in the hallway and compliment me
- 48:36Speaker 3: on something or whatever. It was kind of shocking, guys.
- 48:39Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Blue Bayou Restaurant on my mouse watcher just
- 48:42Speaker 2: came through. I gotta get it. We can keep this
- 48:43Speaker 2: on if you want.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I'm going to Disneyland. I have Goosels right now, I
- 48:47Speaker 2: can go to Disneyland. There's a restaurant. There's a restaurant
- 48:50Speaker 2: that I want to go to. I'm going to go
- 48:52Speaker 2: that bad yees. So it's so this restaurant that I
- 48:56Speaker 2: want to go to, and like like a psycho, they
- 48:59Speaker 2: send you at one o'clock in the morning. So then
- 49:01Speaker 2: I like sign up to this website that kind of
- 49:03Speaker 2: like hacks into the system to let you know.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Something illegal procedures here.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Now I have to see if it's really there. Let's
- 49:09Speaker 2: see what day come on on the point, when would
- 49:11Speaker 2: you go? I'm going to Disneyland in two weeks. But
- 49:14Speaker 2: now it's just saying, okay, let's go Blue buy you
- 49:17Speaker 2: it's disney Land, Oh, Disney's Land.
- 49:20Speaker 3: We're just gonna go tomorrow, Tuesday, July twenty seventh.
- 49:23Speaker 2: I shouldn't even say this to people, because let's go,
- 49:26Speaker 2: let's go, let's go, let's go next, next, next, this works,
- 49:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna be like, holy shit, he's a game changer.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Reserve, reserve, reserve, Oh my god, he's deserve so hyped
- 49:37Speaker 3: up right now.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Special request. It's a just go, just go, just go,
- 49:42Speaker 4: just go. Just got that button, go fucking reserve. What's
- 49:48Speaker 4: the problem.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Go, Oh my god, come on, you can do it.
- 49:54Speaker 3: He just lied and said Chelsea's in a wheelchair to
- 49:56Speaker 3: get this resume, say that.
- 49:59Speaker 2: This goes still to be like insanely shocked and that
- 50:01Speaker 2: it's gonna change my whole life. When it comes to
- 50:03Speaker 2: like Dean Park reservations.
- 50:04Speaker 3: For restaurants, Well, you just told all our listeners about
- 50:09Speaker 3: I got Woody just spinning.
- 50:13Speaker 2: But the problem is if someone else put this reservation in,
- 50:16Speaker 2: they're gonna get it like the alert as well.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Right, I got it.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Yes, there's no way that's gonna be that important.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Okay, let me explain it to real quick. Mark, you
- 50:29Speaker 2: might understand this. Brian Wall at Disney reservations, people like
- 50:34Speaker 2: these are like it's like going into the hot Spot
- 50:36Speaker 2: club in New York City. You can't just like walk
- 50:38Speaker 2: up to a restaurant there.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Okay, so like for like an overpriced Hamdburgy though ship Now.
- 50:45Speaker 2: He doesn't first he doesn't understand. He's a nice restaurant.
- 50:47Speaker 2: That's not Hamburg. That's the quick sert you go. Anyone
- 50:50Speaker 2: get a fucking Hamburg or tomorrowl and Terrace. I'm talking
- 50:53Speaker 2: nice steak, some cocktails anyway, Mark, you know, you know
- 50:56Speaker 2: the Pirates of the Caribbean right in Disney World, Ny
- 50:59Speaker 2: Depp bro disney Land. That's the original, so much longer
- 51:02Speaker 2: ride either way. Inside the ride, there's a restaurant called
- 51:07Speaker 2: the Blue Bayou.
- 51:08Speaker 3: We're going.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Oh that's great, and you've never been congrass.
- 51:12Speaker 3: We're going.
- 51:12Speaker 2: And I'm gonna give a shout out to this website,
- 51:15Speaker 2: that mouse watcher dot com. It costs a little money,
- 51:19Speaker 2: but it finds a reservation for you, and it worked.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I wasn't sure it would actually work, man, it worked, Chelsea.
- 51:23Speaker 3: I haven't tell her.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I'm going on. I'm going to Disney next week. Did
- 51:29Speaker 1: you know that? Brian? Yeah, I'm going this week.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Are you mean up with Mary Kate?
- 51:33Speaker 3: No?
- 51:33Speaker 1: I don't think so, Brian, you know that I'm surprising
- 51:38Speaker 1: my daughter, right I.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Tell you that? Oh no, I didn't know it was
- 51:40Speaker 3: like that.
- 51:41Speaker 1: So she has no idea.
- 51:43Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 51:44Speaker 1: And yeah, so I'm gonna I'm gonna tell her I'm
- 51:47Speaker 1: going to Florida, like I normally.
- 51:48Speaker 3: SAIDA doesn't even know what? Does she know what it is?
- 51:51Speaker 3: She's been twice, okay, doesn't even know If I did that,
- 51:56Speaker 3: like just flew her. I think that would just.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Like Chelse, did you just scream my name?
- 52:00Speaker 3: Yes?
- 52:01Speaker 1: What?
- 52:02Speaker 2: Baby? I got us at the Blue Bayoo?
- 52:04Speaker 3: Where going with? Baby? That is? That is great. I
- 52:10Speaker 3: didn't see what the big hoop was either.
- 52:12Speaker 2: That worked. That site worked.
- 52:14Speaker 3: He's gonna make it house Watch.
- 52:15Speaker 2: It worked.
- 52:16Speaker 3: He's gonna make that with John amazing. Thank you. I'm
- 52:19Speaker 3: going to bed.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Okay left? Oh my god. Another one just came through.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Doing a Monday or Tuesday? All right, we'll talk about later.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Let me can we finish this podcast?
- 52:32Speaker 1: All right?
- 52:32Speaker 2: Mark next Monday as well too?
- 52:35Speaker 3: What's that?
- 52:37Speaker 1: I kind of want to ask how bad the male
- 52:39Speaker 1: locker room smells, but I'd rather ask what a typical
- 52:42Speaker 1: week look like for you guys? How is the travel
- 52:45Speaker 1: et cetera. All right, so two things locker room smell bad.
- 52:50Speaker 3: No man was there, like Boogeyman's gear stinks and then
- 52:57Speaker 3: he has to wash his worms and makes a huge mess.
- 52:59Speaker 3: So I remember that. I mean, there are some like
- 53:02Speaker 3: po dunk ish areas, like with locker rooms. You'd be
- 53:06Speaker 3: shocked that this is like a WWE, you know, locker room,
- 53:09Speaker 3: but but that we did it so long that that's
- 53:12Speaker 3: it's it is what it is, you know. Yeah, it
- 53:14Speaker 3: makes you appreciate. The nice ones will tell you that.
- 53:17Speaker 2: And then it's just I booked bleu by you from
- 53:19Speaker 2: Monday and tuesdays. I don't know what day I want
- 53:20Speaker 2: to go.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Wow, So what's the deal with like, uh what you
- 53:25Speaker 1: get first? Get called up on your travel.
- 53:27Speaker 3: So I'm trying to think.
- 53:29Speaker 2: So in theory, you leave Monday to go to SmackDown
- 53:32Speaker 2: ECW Tuesday, you get there on Wednesday, you get home
- 53:36Speaker 2: on Wednesday, right, and then like we were able to
- 53:40Speaker 2: skip like the OVW like production meeting, and we have
- 53:43Speaker 2: to go later in the day to do OVWTV Thursday flashbacks.
- 53:49Speaker 2: We usually McDonald's and get like breakfast McDonald's.
- 53:53Speaker 3: You do tape review crack of dawn, like Thursday, maybe
- 53:57Speaker 3: stay for a practice. Friday is a live events somewhere
- 54:01Speaker 3: that we would drive to and do for OVW, come back,
- 54:05Speaker 3: get up at the crack of dawn and either go
- 54:09Speaker 3: to like the SmackDown loop and start that, do Saturday
- 54:12Speaker 3: night somewhere, Sunday somewhere Monday a smaller one while Row's
- 54:16Speaker 3: going on, but you're doing a SmackDown Slash ECW live event,
- 54:19Speaker 3: and then drive to Tuesday with TV would be if
- 54:22Speaker 3: we didn't do that, then we would do Saturday Sunday
- 54:25Speaker 3: OVW commitments and then Monday fly or wherever. So there's
- 54:30Speaker 3: literally no days off no matter what way you spin it.
- 54:34Speaker 2: A lot of days on.
- 54:35Speaker 3: That's why it was seven days a week.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Corp and Joslyn. How are Deuce and dominoes work with.
- 54:41Speaker 3: And be around fun? I enjoyed.
- 54:44Speaker 2: There's a little noise that guys work with Deuce.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Deuce could be interesting to talk to or like an overthinker,
- 54:51Speaker 3: an overthinker, Yeah, yeah, he want he I think he
- 54:54Speaker 3: wanted us to think he was better than he was
- 54:56Speaker 3: kind of thing like just because he was so I'm
- 55:00Speaker 3: really how old is he now? Because he was so
- 55:02Speaker 3: much older than us then, yeah, And he got into
- 55:05Speaker 3: the business very late, and I think because he was
- 55:08Speaker 3: second generation, I think he wanted us to think he
- 55:10Speaker 3: was like but he was not as green as we were.
- 55:13Speaker 3: But he hadn't been working much.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Longer than we.
- 55:16Speaker 3: You know.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Yeah, my first introduct James Symour, My first introduction to
- 55:22Speaker 1: the major bros. Was a house show in Canton, Ohio,
- 55:24Speaker 1: a few weeks before the call up. Had you already
- 55:27Speaker 1: been smartened to the plans of your TV debut or
- 55:31Speaker 1: was that still just part of the trial.
- 55:34Speaker 3: And especially so like if I remember this correctly and
- 55:39Speaker 3: you can help me out with this, We did like
- 55:41Speaker 3: basically the whole month of March oh seven. We do
- 55:44Speaker 3: all the live events for Raw. We do a lot
- 55:46Speaker 3: of the darks and stuff like Kadie Murdoch or Highlanders, Yeah,
- 55:51Speaker 3: Shelton and has and then Kofe is doing the same stuff,
- 55:58Speaker 3: but we're all buddies. And then Kofi goes to Mania
- 56:01Speaker 3: and Hall of Fame and we don't get travel for it,
- 56:04Speaker 3: and we're like, oh wow, yeah, maybe we're nothing. And
- 56:06Speaker 3: we basically didn't do anything for April okay, so we
- 56:09Speaker 3: were like, okay, so maybe it was just a look
- 56:11Speaker 3: and then randomly we are called up and he doesn't,
- 56:14Speaker 3: so it was kind of nuts.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Sean Thibodeau, was there any kind of bucket list
- 56:19Speaker 1: you guys had in terms of what you wanted to
- 56:21Speaker 1: see or do when you set foot in the major
- 56:23Speaker 1: leagues of w B, getting to see old props in
- 56:26Speaker 1: the warehouse, asking veterans about the past wrestling.
- 56:28Speaker 3: And No, honestly, our only thing we wanted to game.
- 56:31Speaker 3: We just wanted to be used. We realized right away
- 56:34Speaker 3: because we were We literally did the debut singles match,
- 56:39Speaker 3: singles match, and then never again. Is it like back
- 56:42Speaker 3: to back where we're booked right, So we're like, we
- 56:45Speaker 3: realized right away. Like I said, we were not delusional,
- 56:47Speaker 3: Like we just wanted to be used. We wanted to
- 56:49Speaker 3: be on TV in some capacity.
- 56:54Speaker 1: All right, these are two great questions. I'm going to
- 56:56Speaker 1: read them both together. Uh, Christian Garcia, was there a
- 57:01Speaker 1: feeling backstage that this version of ECW could become a
- 57:04Speaker 1: serious third brand and reach the bigger heights like NXT
- 57:07Speaker 1: does today? And then the next.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Question maybe maybe before us, but never in our time.
- 57:12Speaker 2: I mean I would argue, like how I don't have
- 57:17Speaker 2: the rating sheets in front of me, but like it
- 57:19Speaker 2: was a third brand.
- 57:21Speaker 3: For sure, a third brand. But but he's.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Saying like how NXT is like very popular and does well.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I still I still want to argue with that because
- 57:30Speaker 2: like Christian is on, it is like it wasn't like
- 57:32Speaker 2: a Jabroni show. They like, yes, obviously they treated at
- 57:36Speaker 2: number three, but there was still like.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Main roster talent there, real channel got it maybe like
- 57:44Speaker 3: never in a was there a point where it's like
- 57:47Speaker 3: equal to our SmackDown or was that ever in the
- 57:49Speaker 3: I definitely think it was the cars it was.
- 57:51Speaker 2: I definitely think it was a third brand.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it was the third brand.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Maybe the fans didn't don't love it as much as
- 57:56Speaker 2: they loved NXT. I'm sure they didn't.
- 57:59Speaker 1: But well, Jordan and Laurence says Brian, were you completely
- 58:01Speaker 1: underwhelmed with how ECW was when you got there or
- 58:04Speaker 1: was it as watered down as you expected?
- 58:07Speaker 3: Oh? No, I didn't. That's WWECW is just a name
- 58:12Speaker 3: to me. I never thought.
- 58:13Speaker 2: I mean by that point, once you watched the first
- 58:14Speaker 2: episode with.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Somebody walks out and it's like it never it's dead
- 58:18Speaker 3: before it even starts, Like you know what I mean?
- 58:20Speaker 3: If you had expectations that, like the real ly CW mindset,
- 58:24Speaker 3: mentality and style was gonna be resurrected. Like no way.
- 58:29Speaker 2: If anyone thinks that WW ECW is a failure, you're
- 58:31Speaker 2: a fucking idiot because look at all the people who
- 58:34Speaker 2: came out of it. Okay, kofe cm punk Tyson kidd.
- 58:38Speaker 2: I mean I got my opportunity as the.
- 58:41Speaker 3: W to get opportunity to the argument like the taloo,
- 58:49Speaker 3: they would have got the chance somewhere else.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Well, maybe they wouldn't have. I'm not saying they wouldn't
- 58:53Speaker 2: have shined if they got that opportunity, but maybe they
- 58:56Speaker 2: wouldn't have gotten that opportunity on raw or SmackDown. Won't
- 58:58Speaker 2: There's no spot Evan Bourne all these people.
- 59:01Speaker 1: That's a good point.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Mark Henry gets his like his big brest run of
- 59:05Speaker 2: his career comes from starts from. Christian gets to be
- 59:08Speaker 2: a top guy for the first time in ec W.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Wow, interesting I never even thought of it the other way.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Jason W what were some of the locker room etiquettes
- 59:16Speaker 1: you learned about? Uh after getting called up? Also, who
- 59:19Speaker 1: did you learn them from?
- 59:21Speaker 3: I mean we knew enough to know about the no
- 59:23Speaker 3: locker room situation.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's where we're so funny.
- 59:26Speaker 3: That's like dead because that was like a big, big deal, right.
- 59:29Speaker 2: I think that's where like Bill like really prepares you
- 59:32Speaker 2: for like how to act and the mind fuck yeah,
- 59:35Speaker 2: be unfuck with able.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And also Mikey taught us like locker room etiquet and
- 59:41Speaker 2: that stuff to chet the business very very early.
- 59:43Speaker 3: It's basically dead, so expecting the business. Yeah, like no,
- 59:48Speaker 3: like even tonight, and I'm not like burying it. Like
- 59:53Speaker 3: if it was fifteen years ago and we walked in
- 59:55Speaker 3: the locker room and there's twenty five straight up indie
- 59:58Speaker 3: guys sitting in chairs and we're looking for chairs, people
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: would be we'd have twenty chairs, people throwing tonight. People
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: just don't gives a fight.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: I literally took a chair from the stands.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I went and took a chair the same and went
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: took a chair from the gimmick table, because like, you know,
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: it's just it's just something that's really died and and
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: some part of it I think is good, and some
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: like that maybe a little like oh my god.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Interesting, Joe, I need a couple more questions. I know
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you guys got to be on SmackDown when they first
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: had the fist, But I can't remember. Did you guys
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: ever get on the old Raw stage as well?
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: They've changed the stage, so what's the old.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: The Raw stage has changed so much that it's not I.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Don't know what it is like theird I don't I
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: don't think.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Maybe the only time the major brothers are on Raw
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: is the Swaggles Vince's Sun Reveal that's in the garden, right, Yeah,
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: we all come out and they do like a process
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: of elimination. Yeah, of like different clues and ship if
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I recall men stay out their backs and then it's
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: like I think half hammered and like doesn't leave in
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: hunters giving someone they like get the fuck out because
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: he just wasn't listening. But uh, I think that's that
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: might be the only time we ever did went to
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: raw or we're on.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: A Rawcadi Murdoch Raw.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a bunch.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Of k two more. This one's funny. Colin Smith, when
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: getting the main roster, was there anyone that you were
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: all that you all were kind of starstruck to be around.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: I think my main one was seeing Punk because I
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: was such a fan. He was like my be all
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: end all, like he was like my hero, Like I
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: wanted to like replicate his career. You know, I always
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: say this, It sounds so stupid to say out loud,
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: but like I didn't want to be My goal wasn't
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: to be signed at w BET at twenty years old,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: like I was, Like I wanted to travel the country
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: in a car and friggin work everywhere and then build
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: my name up and then go to Mexico and Japan
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: and then then finally like it signed like he did.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Like that's literally like the blueprint that I wanted. I
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: had no desire to do that, yeah, I know so,
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: and then I got signed and it just didn't work
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: out that way. But uh, I was just such an
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: admirer of his work and stuff, so and then he'd
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: for sure tried to brother us for a free car.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: But we like all hitded off and became buds and
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: rolled together for years and years.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: And like for my answer, like I guess I'm night
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: and day way more positive now than I was then.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: But I always knew this was the only thing I
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: was going to do. I don't know why, So like
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: it all was like a natural progression to me. So
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: it wasn't like, oh my god, it's the undertakers, like
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: oh yeah, well of course, like I'm on the main
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: ross and that's the undertaker, you know. But if there
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: was someone who I guess even to this day intimidates
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: me a little bit, it's Vince Oh it's cause to
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: me it's like it's like the Wizard of it's Vince McMath.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Yeah. I think it's weird as we're as like mega
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: fans as we are. We never like fanboy around these people.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Were more like I don't want to say the wrong
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: thing around these people, right right? Is more and more
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: that that feeling takes over way more than the like.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: So okay, like now, and like Ryan said, a lot
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: of things have changed, and a lot of things have
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: changed for the better, some haven't. In my opinion, one
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: thing that I think has changed for the better is
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: that like it's acceptable now to be a fan like
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: recently NXC show Johnny Gargana his whole crew dresses up.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Is like the click they take pictures with like Sean
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: and Hunter in twenty eleven, if I dressed.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Up, oh my god, massacred Triple.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: H would probably fucking.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Publicly humiliated and fired probably.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Okay, so but now, like right before we left we
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: talked about this on I think we talked about the
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: major pod, like right the last wrestlemening, we did like
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: my goals, like you know what, I never got a
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: picture with Hogan. I never got a picture with Brett Hart,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: Like after all these years, I never asked. And I
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: wish I would have asked for a lot of those
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: people because a lot of the people an't around anymore. But
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: for couple of things. One there were no like you
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: didn't really have a cell phone camera, cameras weren't that accessible.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: But you would never like ask someone for a photo.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: And I remember when Flair was retiring, I was like, oh,
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: like I thought i'd never see him. I thought he
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: was like gone forever. I had a picture of me
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: and him, like a picture, and I asked him to
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: sign the back, and like that was like, I'm gonna
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: ask him to sign the back. Didn't ask him for
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: a photo. But then I remember we had worked, we'd
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: done the main roster together for like two years. We
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: actually worked. Wasn't not that we were best for Actually at.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Least one house show loop where he comes out in
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: like the Edge, Heed era and he like gives us.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Chops all the way to the back. I don't remember that. Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: but anyway, long story short, and he was, Okay, who
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: should I make it out to?
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: But like that doesn't surprise me in the least. Know
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: what is fifty something year old Rick Flair have in
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: common with twenty one year old Mac Cardona?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Right too? But whatever, nothing that's funny.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Nothing rubber tugs in Thailand.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: I'll not say we did Jesus Chris massages, last clickbait
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: headline Jack Ryder and rubbit tongues.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: And Thailand good good.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: I hope they all we got massages in Thailand.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: El vlog Star any road pranks you want to get into,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and we'll end it there.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I mean a lot of them involve swaggle, you know
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: that kind of thing.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: I mean, I can't think of anything that was like
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: besides like putting a weird like trading card someone's bag
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: or actually figure either someone you know, the guy doesn't
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: like hers can play.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Some funny ones, more like incriminating ones, a kind of
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: harmless one. I guess I could tell. It's coming to mind.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Was like we race back after like a SmackDown ECW
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: taping and all in a room getting dressed to go out,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: putting on our affliction shirts and whatever. We thought we
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: were so cool. And Dylan used to think it was
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: funny to rib whoever was you know, how many, like
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I said, four or five six guys in a room.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: He would This was like a rib that Dylan thought
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: was funny to just shit with the door open, to
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: like sit down and take a shit.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: He'd also like rub his ass on things.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: And so Dylan does that and then like Gallas is
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: basically like gives me the iggy, like I've had enough
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: of this, Like I'm gonna get him. And Galas drops
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: his pants and has his ass out and he starts
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: bunny hopping in reverse to basically like give him like
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: a Rakishi stink face while he's taking his shit, and
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: Dylan's going and typical Gallas fast, he's hopping, he's hopping,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: and then he trips over his jeans, wax his head
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: on the kitchen sink in the bathroom, right, and we're
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: all laughing at that. Then Gallas comes up and he's
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: gigged like steel cage, blood dripping down his face. It's
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: just it was just like a surreal it all just
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: happened so fast, like between the ship and the moon
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: and then fucking that. It was just un just so typical.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I like that Swaggle still to this day, putting his
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: butt on thanks of course. All right, so next time
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about the edge head run that. I
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: think that a lot of people know more about it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Obviously lasted a little bit longer.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Yeah, there's more. I don't wanna say there's more meat
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: on that bone. Actually, this is a lot to the
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: major was just nobody knew because we're such a Jabron's.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for listening, guys. The other bonus
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: episode this month coming very soon. The f w F
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: is back in the draft in July.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: So I'm gonna kill it. I'm gonna kill my creash.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: What are as man speaks of
