Faith, Love, Hope: Christian Virtues - Franklin Camp
Franklin Camp walks through Colossians 1 as a sustained case for the centrality, completeness, and supremacy of Christ. He frames the chapter as Paul’s answer to the question, “What think ye of Christ?” and shows how the letter confronts false teaching by placing Jesus at the center of faith, hope, gospel, prayer, and preaching. In this episode, Camp traces how Colossians was written to a church being pulled toward mixed doctrines and away from Christ. He argues that the whole chapter is structured to show Jesus as central to everything believers are, believe, and do.
