- 1:23into the judgment that you have awaiting for them.

- 1:36Rebuke the devourer from off of our finances.
- 1:39God, Lead us not into temptation, God.
- 1:45Don't let us be LED off into temptation, God.
- 1:49I pray that we'll take the way out.
- 1:51We'll take the escape route, God.
- 1:57Keep showing up, God. Keep showing off, God.
- 2:00Wreck us today, Lord. We flip over the tables today we
- 2:06make the cord, Lord. We drive out the money changers
- 2:11who are trying to make merchandise out of us, Lord.
- 2:18Let this temple be a holy habitation, a place of prayer.
- 2:22God, let us let go of all of our youthful lusts.
- 2:26Father, I pray we'll step in to the reality that you are moving
- 2:32mightily all around us, Lord, for yours is the Kingdom and the
- 2:37glory and the power, forever and ever.
- 2:41It's in Jesus Christ, holy and precious and powerful name that
- 2:44I boldly come in to the throne room.
- 2:49Girt up our loins, Father, heal us God, let the train of your
- 2:52robe fill the temple. And we cry out.
- 2:55Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is and
- 3:04who is to come. For you are magnificent.
- 3:09You are high and lifted up. Father, we bow down to no idol.
- 3:15God, you're the 4th man in the fire.
- 3:19We love you. Jesus Jesus Christ, Holy Jesus
- 3:25Christ, God almighty Holy Spirit fill us today.
- 3:31Thank you Holy Spirit for helping us in Jesus Christ.
- 3:34Holy, precious and powerful name I pray, Amen.
- 3:41Well, let's start in verse one. And it came to pass at the end
- 3:47of the two full years that Pharaoh dreamed.
- 3:50And behold, he stood by the river too.
- 3:52And behold, there came out of the river seven well favoured
- 3:56kind and fat fleshed, and they fed in a Meadow. 3 And behold, 7
- 4:01other kind came up after them out of the river.
- 4:05I'll favoured, lean fleshed, and stood by the other kind upon the
- 4:09brink of the river. For and the ill favoured and the
- 4:12lean fleshed kind did eat up seven well favored and fat kind.
- 4:17So Pharaoh awoke. So here's a dream given by God
- 4:24and Pharaoh does not understand it at all.
- 4:27He does not have the mind of Christ.
- 4:29He does not have the heart of God.
- 4:31He does not have the understanding All of his
- 4:34magicians and soothsayers, all of the disgusting, deplorable
- 4:38occult practices in the land could not amount to anything.
- 4:44He has no power but the limited power given over to all of the
- 4:50darkness, and in the light of God it melts away.
- 4:55Friends, there is no interpreter there to interpret this
- 5:00enigmatic dream of his five. And he slept, and he dreamed.
- 5:07And second time, and behold, 7 ears of corn came up upon one
- 5:12stalk, rank and good 6 And behold, 7 thin ears, and blasted
- 5:18with the east winds sprung up after them seven.
- 5:21And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears.
- 5:26And Pharaoh awoke and behold, it was a dream.
- 5:30So here he has two consecutive dreams.
- 5:32And this is just like God. He doesn't just say it one time.
- 5:36God will confirm and reconfirm what his will is in your life.
- 5:41And if you ever feel like you must act immediately, just know
- 5:45that's not from God friends. God is long-suffering and he's
- 5:50patient friends. And God will reveal and re
- 5:54reveal His plans in your life. If you have this fear of missing
- 5:59out, this, if you have the sense that you have to act
- 6:11immediately, that is not from God.
- 6:15That is the enemy trying to get you to grab a hold of something
- 6:20that is going to lead you astray.
- 6:23God will show you things and show you things again and again,
- 6:29and it will be a willful disobedience if you do not step
- 6:33into the things of God when He tells you to.
- 6:36And if it is God's will, no man can thwart it.
- 6:40Friends, that's what you need to understand.
- 6:42That's why it calls for patience.
- 6:45That's why you can prey on things.
- 6:47That's why you do not have to act impulsively.
- 6:53You can wait on the Lord in the greatest work is being done.
- 6:59In the waiting you can see that the seven fat cows, and the
- 7:08seven lean cows, and the seven plump ears of corn, and the
- 7:15seven blasted thin ears of corn, they meant something, and
- 7:20Pharaoh couldn't figure it out. 8 And it came to pass in the
- 7:26morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent, and he
- 7:29called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men of
- 7:33it, And Pharaoh told them his dream, but there was none that
- 7:36could interpret them to Pharaoh. 9 Then spoke the chief Butler
- 7:41unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day. 10
- 7:46Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and he put me in ward,
- 7:50and the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief
- 7:53Baker. 11 And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he, we
- 7:59dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
- 8:0312 And there was there with us a young man, a Hebrew servant to
- 8:09the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he
- 8:13interpreted to us our dreams. To each man according to his
- 8:17dream he did interpret. 13 And it came to pass, as he
- 8:22interpreted to us. So it was me he restored to my
- 8:27office, and him he hung. So here this cupbearer finally
- 8:33remembers Joseph, who helped him out. 14 Then Pharaoh sent and
- 8:39called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon.
- 8:44He shaved himself, he changed his clothing, and he came in
- 8:48unto Pharaoh. 15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I've dreamed a
- 8:52dream, and there is none that can interpret it.
- 8:55I have heard it said of you, that you can interpret a dream
- 8:59to interpret it. 16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is
- 9:04not in me. God shall give Pharaoh an answer
- 9:09of peace. So here Joseph rightfully
- 9:12attributes all of his understanding to a holy and
- 9:16mighty and awesome God, and we would do well to do the same.
- 9:21And pride will creep in, spiritual pride and vain glory
- 9:25will creep in if we do not give God the full measure of His due
- 9:32glory for all of the goodness that's inside of us.
- 9:37There is nothing good inside of mankind but the Lord Jesus
- 9:40Christ who sanctifies us and makes us holy.
- 9:44Left to our own devices friends, we will self destruct. 17 And
- 9:54Pharaoh said unto Joseph in my dream, Behold, I stood upon the
- 9:58Bank of the river. 18 And behold, there came up out of the
- 10:01river seven kind fat fleshed and well favored, and they fed in a
- 10:05Meadow. 19 And beholds of another kind came up after them,
- 10:09poor, and I'll favored and lean fleshed, such as I have never
- 10:13seen in all the land of Egypt, for Vadnais 20 in the lean and
- 10:17the ill favored kind did eat up the 1st 7 fat kind. 21 And when
- 10:23they had in them up, it could not be known that they had eaten
- 10:26them, but they were still I'll favored, and at and as at the
- 10:32beginning. So I awoke. 22 And I saw in my
- 10:37dream, and behold, 7 ears came up in one stalk, full and good.
- 10:4223 And behold, 7 ears withered thin and blasted with the east
- 10:47winds, sprung up after them. 24 The thin ears devoured the seven
- 10:51good ears. And I told this unto the
- 10:54magicians, and there was none that could declare it to me.
- 10:58So here in this telling and recounting of the dream, we get
- 11:02a little bit more information that we did not get in the 1st
- 11:06telling of the dream. And you see here that whenever
- 11:10the skinny cows ate the fat cows, you could not tell it.
- 11:15And this is a telltale sign in the recounting of this dream.
- 11:22And you see that there's no power in the magicians.
- 11:25It's all a bunch of hoopla. It is nothing but limited,
- 11:31disgusting, deplorable power that God allows to lead people
- 11:37astray that will not give their hearts and minds over to him. 25
- 11:44And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is 1.
- 11:48God has showed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
- 11:51So this is quick, this is pertinent, this is now friends,
- 11:55he's saying that this is going to quickly come upon you. 26 The
- 12:01seven good kind are seven years, and the seven good ears are 7
- 12:05years. The dream is 127 and the 7th in
- 12:10and I'll favored kind that came up after them are seven years.
- 12:14And the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be 7
- 12:18years of famine. 28 This is the thing which I have spoken to
- 12:23Pharaoh. What God is about to do, he
- 12:26shows unto Pharaoh. 29 Behold, there come seven years of great
- 12:31plenty throughout all the land of Egypt. 30 And there shall
- 12:36arise after them seven years of famine, and all the plenty shall
- 12:41be forgotten in the land of Egypt, and the famine shall
- 12:45consume the land. 31 And the plenty shall not be known in the
- 12:49land by reason of that famine following, for it shall be very
- 12:53grievous. 32 And for that dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice.
- 12:58It is because The thing is established by God, and God will
- 13:02shortly bring it to pass. So God confirms and reconfirms
- 13:06things, friends. And you could see here that
- 13:11Joseph knew what he was talking about, and he's telling Pharaoh
- 13:14to act and to act now because it has been doubly shown to him and
- 13:20established what wisdom of God that he can even use this famine
- 13:29to fulfill the journey of the Hebrews, the Israelites, to
- 13:35strengthen them in the land of Egypt. 33 Now, therefore, let
- 13:47Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the
- 13:51land of Egypt. Joseph was not talking about
- 13:53himself. He's just telling Pharaoh what
- 13:56he ought to do 34. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him
- 14:01appoint officers over the land, and take up the 5th part of the
- 14:05land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. 35 And let them
- 14:10gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up
- 14:14corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the
- 14:18cities. 36 And that food shall be for store in the land against
- 14:24the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt,
- 14:28that the land perish not through the famine.
- 14:31So here Joseph not only interprets the dreams, but he
- 14:35also gives him the cure. He gives him what he ought to
- 14:38do. This is the mind of God, and it
- 14:41is being shown unto the Pagan world 37 that the thing was good
- 14:46in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. 38
- 14:50And the Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one
- 14:54as this is a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
- 14:58So he recognized that God's holiness was inside of Joseph,
- 15:04and that there was none in the land who would act with the
- 15:06integrity of this Hebrew boy who'd come in as a slave, who
- 15:11was a prisoner at this time. And now God is about to bring
- 15:15him into his prominent position as the most powerful man in the
- 15:21entire world, second to Pharaoh. 39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,
- 15:28For as much as God has showed you all this, there is none so
- 15:32discreet and wise as you are. 40 You shall be over my house, and
- 15:37according unto your word shall all my people be ruled.
- 15:42Only in the throne will I be greater than you.
- 15:44And he does not know that. The same thing that Jesus Christ
- 15:48told Pilate, that he said no authority has been given to you,
- 15:53but has been given to you by my Father.
- 15:56And he could send a legion of angels, friends.
- 15:58And here you need to know that Pharaoh is not greater than God,
- 16:04that Pharaoh is under the thumb of God in the heart of the king,
- 16:07is in God's hands, and he makes the waters flow whichever way
- 16:12that he wants. And here he is going to use this
- 16:16famine, He's going to use this time to strengthen his people in
- 16:21the land of Egypt. And they'll leave out of that
- 16:23place stronger, and they will leave out of that place richer
- 16:28than they ever would have been left in the land of Canaan to
- 16:32self destruct. 41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have
- 16:41set you over all the land of Egypt. 42 And Pharaoh took off
- 16:45his ring from his hand, and he put it upon Joseph's hand, and
- 16:49arrayed him investors of fine linen, and put a gold chain
- 16:52about his neck. So he goes from the chains of
- 16:55prison to having this chain of opulence, and this chain that
- 17:00signifies that he is second in command to Pharaoh.
- 17:06What a radical turn of advance. 43 And he made him to ride in
- 17:13the second chariot, which he had, And they cried before him,
- 17:16Bow the knee, and he made him ruler over all the land of
- 17:20Egypt. 44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, without
- 17:26you shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of
- 17:30Egypt. So he tells Joseph that
- 17:32everything that happens in all the land of Egypt has to go
- 17:35through him. 45 And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zafnaf
- 17:42Paniya, and he gave him to wife Asana, the daughter of Patafera,
- 17:48priest of own. And Joseph went out over all the
- 17:51land of Egypt. So here we're going to see
- 17:54Joseph rejected by his brothers, and he receives a bride.
- 17:58And you can see this Gentile bride is synonymous to Jesus
- 18:03Christ. And you can see that Jesus is
- 18:07our Joseph. 46 And Joseph was 30 years old when he stood before
- 18:14Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the
- 18:18presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of
- 18:21Egypt. 47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth
- 18:26brought forth by handfuls. 48 And he gathered up all the food
- 18:34of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up
- 18:38the food in the cities, the food of the field which was round,
- 18:41and about every city laid he up in the same. 49 And Joseph
- 18:46gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much until he left
- 18:50numbering, for it was without #50 And unto Joseph were born
- 18:55two sons before the years of famine came, which Asanath the
- 19:02daughter of Potiphara, priest of own, bore to him. 51 And Joseph
- 19:08called the name of the first born Manessa.
- 19:11For God said He has made me forget all my toil and all my
- 19:17father's house. 52 In the name of the 2nd called he Ephraim,
- 19:23for God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my
- 19:27affliction. 53 In the seven years of plenteousness was in
- 19:31the land of Egypt, where ended. 54 In the seven years of Darth
- 19:37began to come, according as Joseph had said, the Darth was
- 19:43All in all the lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was
- 19:48bread. 55 And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the
- 19:54people cried to Pharaoh for bread.
- 19:56And Pharaoh said to the Egyptians, Go to Joseph, which
- 20:00he, whatever he says to you, do. 56 And the famine was over all
- 20:06the face of the earth. And Joseph opened all the
- 20:09storehouses and sold to the Egyptians, and the famine grew
- 20:13sore in the land of Egypt. We'll end on 57.
- 20:17And all the countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn
- 20:21because the famine was so sore in all the lands.
- 20:28What an amazing story. And we can see how God is
- 20:31providing and how God is the one who provides the bread of life,
- 20:35friends. And that is what we need.
- 20:37We need Our Daily Bread. We need God to provide for us
- 20:41and with food and clothing be content.
- 20:45And here you can see, O Ephraim and Manessa back there, you can
- 20:49see that God is blessing Joseph even in this terrible situation
- 20:55that he finds himself in. And God can do the same for you
- 20:58and for me if we'll trust him in the middle.
- 21:01Don't be so preoccupied with the end, friends.
- 21:05Stay here. Stay in the now.
- 21:07Stay right here locked in, and serve Him in whatever arena he
- 21:11has called you to and watch how he elevates you.
- 21:15And it is by bowing low and having humility that we will be
- 21:20found prominent amongst the people.
- 21:24I hope you've been blessed by this amazing chapter in God's
- 21:26Word. I know I sure have.
- 21:28I'm praying for every single one of you.
- 21:31I love you, God bless you. We'll see you back here
- 21:40tomorrow.
