- 0:40All right, so are you able to hear me?

- 1:05understand and help you out. So what's your question?
- 1:09Well, I would like to know why it is that humans haven't
- 1:13created their own form or version of blood.
- 1:17Why it is that we have to donate blood instead of being able to
- 1:21create it or design it? Can you explain why?
- 1:30That's a great question. Blood is an incredibly complex
- 1:32substance. It's not just a red liquid.
- 1:34It contains living cells, proteins, clotting factors,
- 1:37nutrients, and more, all of which are hard to replicate in a
- 1:40lab. Also, blood needs to be
- 1:43compatible with the recipient's immune system, which can vary
- 1:46greatly between individuals. This makes creating a
- 1:49universally compatible artificial blood an enormous
- 1:53challenge. Scientists have been working on
- 1:55developing artificial blood substitutes for decades, but so
- 1:58far they've only had limited success.
- 2:00That's why we still rely on donations from generous
- 2:03individuals to save lives. So every human out there has a
- 2:09unique form of blood. Not quite.
- 2:17While each person's blood is indeed unique in terms of their
- 2:20individual immune system markers and other minor variations, we
- 2:23can actually classify most human blood into a handful of
- 2:27different blood types. These types are based on certain
- 2:29markers, known as antigens that are present on the surface of
- 2:34red blood cells. The most well known blood typing
- 2:37systems are the ABO system with types Abab and O, and the RH
- 2:43system. Positive or negative, a person's
- 2:46blood type is determined by which antigens they have, and
- 2:50this determines which types of blood they can receive in a
- 2:52transfusion. If all humans are related to
- 2:58each other, then why would the blood be different for some
- 3:01humans over others? While all humans share a common
- 3:08ancestry, genetic mutations and variations have accumulated in
- 3:11different populations over time, leading to the diversity we see
- 3:15today. One reason for different blood
- 3:17types is a process called genetic drift.
- 3:20This is when random chance leads to some genetic variants, like
- 3:23different blood types, becoming more common in some populations
- 3:27and less common in others. For example, the O blood type is
- 3:32very common in indigenous American populations but
- 3:35relatively rare in East Asian populations.
- 3:38So even though all humans are related, genetic variation has
- 3:42led to differences in blood types and many other traits
- 3:44among different populations. That's interesting.
- 3:49So depending on where you are, if evolution is true, would you
- 3:55be able to answer this? Did everything evolve from one
- 4:00place or did it evolve in various diverse different areas
- 4:05all over the world? That's a complex question.
- 4:11According to the theory of evolution, all life on Earth
- 4:14shares a common ancestor, so in that sense, everything did
- 4:17evolve from one place. However, once life began to
- 4:21diversify, it evolved in many different areas and environments
- 4:25around the world. The process of speciation, or
- 4:29the formation of new species, happens when populations of a
- 4:33single species become geographically isolated from
- 4:36each other. Over time, these separated
- 4:39populations can adapt to their specific environments and
- 4:42accumulate different genetic changes, eventually becoming so
- 4:46different that they can no longer interbreed.
- 4:49This is how we end up with the amazing diversity of life we see
- 4:52today. So in summary, while all life
- 4:55ultimately traces back to a common ancestor, different
- 4:58species and even different populations of the same species
- 5:02evolved in different places around the world.
- 5:07Blood has healing properties in it.
- 5:10Can you explain how nature was able to create this design that
- 5:16is capable of healing? The healing properties of blood
- 5:25come from a combination of its components and their functions.
- 5:28Here are some key features. Platelets.
- 5:33These are small cells that clump together to form clots and stop
- 5:36bleeding. They also release growth factors
- 5:39that promote healing. White blood cells.
- 5:43These cells are part of the immune system.
- 5:45They help fight infections and clear away damaged tissue, which
- 5:49is essential for healing red blood cells.
- 5:54These cells carry oxygen, which is necessary for cells to
- 5:57function and heal. Plasma, the liquid part of
- 6:01blood, contains proteins that help with clotting and immune
- 6:04responses. These components and their
- 6:07functions have evolved over time through natural selection.
- 6:13Ancestral Organisms with more effective blood clotting and
- 6:18immune responses would have been more likely to survive and
- 6:22reproduce, passing on their genes to future generations.
- 6:28Can you explain how natural selection is able to choose
- 6:32these beneficial traits if it's not alive or conscious?
- 6:41Sure, it's a common misconception that natural
- 6:43selection is a conscious or purposeful process, but it's
- 6:46actually an emergent phenomenon that arises from the
- 6:49interactions between living things and their environment.
- 6:53Here's how it works. One genetic variation.
- 6:59Every Organism has slight differences in its genetic code,
- 7:02leading to differences in traits. 2 Differential survival
- 7:08and reproduction In any given environment, some traits will be
- 7:12more beneficial than others, leading to better survival and
- 7:15reproduction for the organisms that possess them.
- 7:18Three inheritance. The successful organisms pass on
- 7:23their beneficial traits to their offspring. 4 Over time, this
- 7:30process repeats over generations, leading to the
- 7:34accumulation of beneficial traits in the population.
- 7:38So it's not that nature is choosing traits.
- 7:40Rather, the traits that happen to be most beneficial in a
- 7:43particular environment are the ones that persist and spread.
- 7:49If nature is not alive, though, how does it have any
- 7:52comprehension of what's beneficial and what's not?
- 7:56Why does it matter if it benefits or not?

- 8:25One of the reasons why I bring this up, ladies and gentlemen,
- 8:28is that blood has healing properties to it.
- 8:33If one were to read the Bible or read about any of these
- 8:36religions, blood is very important.
- 8:39In fact, blood is used in sacrifice blood.
- 8:42Blood is used for redemption and salvation.
- 8:46A Blood is very important to the very concept of Christianity and
- 8:50God. Jesus's blood cleansed us and
- 8:53transformed us and caused us to go through many different
- 8:57transitions and changes. Nature doesn't have.
- 9:04It's not alive. It can't consciously, no.
- 9:08If we were to just go based upon natural sciences, nature doesn't
- 9:14know. It has no life force to it to be
- 9:18able to dictate what is going to happen next.
- 9:22That's why they use words like emergence.
- 9:24They're saying, well, the environment causes us, you know,
- 9:28it's how we adapt to the environment or the Organism
- 9:32really. So what's in the environment
- 9:35that creates the machinery known as DNA and blood?
- 9:40What is in the environment that can do this?
- 9:43Because if scientists knew of what was causing it or why it
- 9:48worked like it did, we wouldn't have to donate our blood in
- 9:52order to save somebody else or help somebody else in need.
- 9:56We would simply be able to invent it.
- 9:58We'd be able to create it. And although the AI claims that
- 10:03scientists have had success in little areas dealing with DNA,
- 10:08have they really? No.
- 10:11We still to this day have not heard anything about them being
- 10:16able to invent blood or be able to create it.
- 10:19Apparently it's so complex and so much going on with it that
- 10:25they cannot do it. In fact, it's so complicated
- 10:29that even when they do have human blood, some humans have
- 10:32unique blood over others and you simply can't use their blood
- 10:37based upon their type. I think the fact that humans and
- 10:46animals and nature has this ability to heal itself is a
- 10:51great argument for intelligent design Or God.
- 10:54If I were to ask any of you out there, do you believe that
- 10:58something could naturally come into existence and then somehow
- 11:01give itself beneficial traits or beneficial functions so it
- 11:06continues to survive? If I were to tell you that your
- 11:09car had the ability to fix itself, or your television, or
- 11:14any of the machines that you have in your home or your
- 11:16computer, if I were to tell you the thing could fix itself
- 11:20without any human assistance, you would probably think I was
- 11:23nuts. You would probably say it's
- 11:25insane. But because it's so commonly
- 11:29known that humans heal, if you get a scratch or cut or even
- 11:33something severe, there's a possibility that you could fix
- 11:39that. Your body could naturally deal
- 11:41with it. You deal with thousands of
- 11:44sicknesses every single day, but your body has an immune system.
- 11:49Nature doesn't isn't aware of whenever you're sick, if you get
- 11:53cut while you're walking. Nature doesn't know that.
- 11:57Nature has no idea. It can't predict one day from
- 12:01the next because it has no consciousness, no mind.
- 12:05So it seems to me the blood and the healing and all that is
- 12:09supernatural. It is something that just simply
- 12:14will never be able to be replicated.
- 12:19And that's that. And they've tried.
- 12:22They've really, really tried, but it just hasn't happened.
