- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, Hello everybody, Welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Lynch and Taco Morning Shows Off the Air podcast. I'm
- 0:07Speaker 1: Pat Lynch, Taco, Bob good Hey or Afternoon When. Yeah.
- 0:14Speaker 1: If you're live watching on Facebook right now, glad you're
- 0:16Speaker 1: joining us. If you get something to chime in with,
- 0:18Speaker 1: please feel free, feel free, or if we'd rather use
- 0:21Speaker 1: our text line, we have that open as well at
- 0:23Speaker 1: two two five, two six. I want to just get
- 0:26Speaker 1: something out of the way here because many of you
- 0:28Speaker 1: have asked us about this this week, a story that's
- 0:31Speaker 1: been in the news about the company we work for,
- 0:35Speaker 1: iHeart and another company, Sirius XM Satellite Radio having some
- 0:41Speaker 1: sort of business talks. You know, as much as we
- 0:45Speaker 1: know and as far as whatever's happening or not happening.
- 0:52Speaker 1: After thirty years of doing this show together, we've been
- 0:54Speaker 1: through a lot of ups, downs, changes. We have learned.
- 0:58Speaker 1: First off, this is not anything we you know, control, control,
- 1:03Speaker 1: much less worry about it anymore.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So we don't even know what it is anyway, We don't.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We don't, So that the long the short answer is
- 1:10Speaker 1: you know as much as we do. You know, it's
- 1:13Speaker 1: an ever changing and evolving business environment that we all
- 1:16Speaker 1: live in not just in what we do, but lots
- 1:20Speaker 1: of businesses, and we just roll with the changes man
- 1:23Speaker 1: and and adapt as needed.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And that never's going to happen, is going to happen.
- 1:28Speaker 2: We can't control it. We don't know. It could be great,
- 1:31Speaker 2: could be bad, it could be nothing at all. Because
- 1:34Speaker 2: I haven't had anybody even ask me about it. I have.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I've had multiple folks ask about it because it's been
- 1:38Speaker 1: in the news a lot this week. So just thought
- 1:41Speaker 1: we haven't been ignoring it. It's you literally know as
- 1:46Speaker 1: much as you do with pretty much all news, which
- 1:50Speaker 1: we we know that. So there you go, all right,
- 1:53Speaker 1: So just wanted to kind of address the elephant in
- 1:55Speaker 1: the room. What do you got taco?
- 1:57Speaker 2: So yesterday I had a really could which is one
- 2:00Speaker 2: of those odd experiences that it gives you a strange feeling.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So I was at the gym talking to my buddy
- 2:09Speaker 2: actually Alan about Rockville, right, yeah, And we were talking
- 2:13Speaker 2: about the Thursday night lineup and whatever did and then
- 2:15Speaker 2: all of a sudden I heard somebody yell Alan, and
- 2:18Speaker 2: he's pointing across the gym. Turns out somebody was on
- 2:22Speaker 2: a stationary bike and had a seizure and fell on
- 2:29Speaker 2: fell obviously because they're having a seizure. I'm sure smacked
- 2:32Speaker 2: the head on a bike right next to him and
- 2:36Speaker 2: was just laying on the ground. So I don't really
- 2:39Speaker 2: like seeing that kind of stuff, you know, I feel
- 2:41Speaker 2: bad for the person. But he's laying there and he's
- 2:45Speaker 2: still seizing, and the you know, the people are gym
- 2:50Speaker 2: people are there. They bring all the lifeguards in because
- 2:52Speaker 2: they're all specifically chained to help and whatever until nine
- 2:57Speaker 2: until nine to one. One gets there, all right, and
- 3:00Speaker 2: then the guy person probably fifty something, but then he
- 3:06Speaker 2: goes from seizing to not breathing at all and turning blue.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And again I wasn't watching this because I'm like, I can't.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I can't handle that kind of stuff. So now everybody
- 3:21Speaker 2: has stopped because this has gone on. Now it's it's
- 3:23Speaker 2: going on five minutes, and they're still working on you
- 3:29Speaker 2: know what the like the machine that I forget what
- 3:31Speaker 2: it's called. It's I don't I guess it was the
- 3:34Speaker 2: little paddles or whatever try to get bring them back
- 3:36Speaker 2: because he went from seizing. Yeah, but they had a
- 3:39Speaker 2: different name. It's like ACS or whatever the hell it is,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and went from seizing to cardiac arrest. He's out and
- 3:50Speaker 2: I'm like, holy cow, we're gonna see some guy die here.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And then you're thinking of the kids walking by from
- 3:56Speaker 2: the from the kiddie care and it's like, no, no,
- 3:58Speaker 2: keep the kids back. They're going to see is now
- 4:01Speaker 2: everybody I'm talking like fifty plus people are all kind
- 4:05Speaker 2: of standing back from the edges watching now. Fire department
- 4:09Speaker 2: comes in and medics. Fortunately, there was one of the
- 4:13Speaker 2: guys working at the gym is you know, a medic
- 4:17Speaker 2: fire train to everything. So he was working on the
- 4:20Speaker 2: guy to keep him alive until nine one one got there,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and they did. They did a good job a getting there,
- 4:25Speaker 2: but uh and then I'm like, dude, he's still not
- 4:29Speaker 2: coming back. This is getting like oh. But and then
- 4:33Speaker 2: all of a sudden they brought him back. I mean,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm sure he's got a serious concussion and he's got
- 4:40Speaker 2: to go get checked for a bunch of stuff. But
- 4:43Speaker 2: think of that if you're just doing your thing talking
- 4:46Speaker 2: about Rockville to a buddy, and all that unfolds and
- 4:50Speaker 2: it's like and then I was talking to one of
- 4:52Speaker 2: the trainers and she goes, you know, people never cease
- 4:56Speaker 2: to amaze me, she is. This guy's laying on the
- 5:00Speaker 2: on the ground, lifeless, and people just kept working out.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Some of them kept working out on the treadmills right
- 5:06Speaker 2: behind him.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Mike.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Then I I did have fest up, I said, Well,
- 5:10Speaker 2: after about five minutes of watching, I did do sit ups,
- 5:15Speaker 2: but I was praying for to cool down. I mean,
- 5:18Speaker 2: I was praying for the guy and I was while
- 5:20Speaker 2: I was doing my situps. And she goes, no, I'm
- 5:22Speaker 2: talking about the people that didn't even pause, didn't even whatever.
- 5:26Speaker 2: That's it's sad, but it, dude, it was crazy. Well
- 5:29Speaker 2: and then he get then he got wheeled out. So
- 5:31Speaker 2: this whole thing lasted almost twenty twenty plus.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Minute before they got him out of there. Yeah, wow,
- 5:40Speaker 1: at least one. Do you have any idea how was
- 5:42Speaker 1: his condition? Now, wouldn't it turn out any idea? What
- 5:45Speaker 1: it turned out?
- 5:46Speaker 2: It was he had a seizure, but then hit his
- 5:49Speaker 2: head and and well wait then he hit his head.
- 5:51Speaker 2: That didn't what it was that he went from seizure
- 5:55Speaker 2: and he swallowed his tongue. Oh, because you can't technically
- 5:59Speaker 2: swallow your tongue, they say, even though people always say,
- 6:02Speaker 2: oh it s water was dunge. His tongue was blocking
- 6:05Speaker 2: his air well while he was seized, so he wasn't
- 6:07Speaker 2: getting there. Put gave him cardiac orrist out. So then, no,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I haven't been back yet to hear, but I know
- 6:15Speaker 2: what it was because then they I asked one of
- 6:18Speaker 2: the lifeguard kids.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That scenario though, that you just laid out. That happens
- 6:22Speaker 1: all the time, man, where people just you know, regardless
- 6:26Speaker 1: of what's happening, will carry on. We saw a perfect
- 6:29Speaker 1: example of that last Saturday night. The dude who tried
- 6:34Speaker 1: to shoot up the Correspondence dinner. It's Saturday in DC,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and the dude who has just continued to sit at
- 6:40Speaker 1: the table calmly eating his salad, huh, Which I know
- 6:43Speaker 1: there's memes all over the place about that.
- 6:45Speaker 2: The lady walking around stealing all the bottles.
- 6:49Speaker 1: The unopened bottles of wine, and you know, neither of
- 6:53Speaker 1: them knew that it wasn't a dangerous situation in the end,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and that the shooter wasn't going to get into that room,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and that he had and I apprehended everybody else's you know,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you know, run for your lives, get under the tables.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And here's this guy eating a salad, and she's you know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: using it as a crime of or a crime of opportunity.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I guess she could say there he don't let it
- 7:12Speaker 1: go to waste. It's it's it's wild, do you know speak?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh so the guys the guy's all right, I'm guessing
- 7:19Speaker 2: because you know, he went to the hospital everything. But
- 7:21Speaker 2: when he left, he was sitting up and his eyes
- 7:23Speaker 2: were open, and it's like, holy cow, he almost died.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Then I thought the embarrassment, how embarrassing that you're that
- 7:29Speaker 2: the guy that happened to And then you think, well,
- 7:31Speaker 2: but you're alive. At least he's alive. Whether he is
- 7:35Speaker 2: gonna be embarrassed next time because I had never seen
- 7:37Speaker 2: the guy at the gym anyway, but so he made it,
- 7:41Speaker 2: you know. Speaking of that correspondence dinner, Pat, Yeah, did
- 7:44Speaker 2: you hear as a camera?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Good? No, I get a guy, this guy named Scott
- 7:48Speaker 1: says you only have audio out of the right side. Scott,
- 7:52Speaker 1: if you're the first one who said that, I'm looking
- 7:54Speaker 1: at all of my output meters here, I've got two
- 7:57Speaker 1: channels here. I've got two channels here here here, So
- 8:00Speaker 1: I maybe an adjustment on your end, buddy, I apologized, Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The close out and open back up.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it could be I don't know what you're using
- 8:09Speaker 1: to you know, access this, but that maybe turn it
- 8:13Speaker 1: off and on again. It's always the ads.
- 8:16Speaker 2: So so oh, back to that correspondence dinner. Did you
- 8:20Speaker 2: hear what they ended up having happened to them?
- 8:24Speaker 1: Who?
- 8:24Speaker 2: The hotel and the place where it was being held.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The Hilton.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I believe they were washed uck with twenty five hundred
- 8:34Speaker 2: steak and lobster dinners.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Did they feed them the homeless people?
- 8:38Speaker 2: From what I heard, they fed them to battered women's shelters,
- 8:45Speaker 2: which I think that's frigging awesome. But well, you don't
- 8:48Speaker 2: even think about that. I know that that whole assassination
- 8:51Speaker 2: was so low, you know, it seems like so long ago.
- 8:53Speaker 2: But yeah, I didn't even think about the food.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That is, Yeah, there's a high dollar plate for sure.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It was. It was surf and turf. I believe the
- 9:04Speaker 1: And I take back what I just said when my
- 9:06Speaker 1: first thought was they gave it to the homeless people.
- 9:08Speaker 1: That well, they cleared out all the homeless encampments in DC.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Remember they ran they're they're all out of town now,
- 9:14Speaker 1: so it's good they did still find, you know, something
- 9:17Speaker 1: to be done with the food.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yeah, very cool would have been. And to give it
- 9:20Speaker 2: to you know, battered women, Yeah, of course, of course.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So that was just a whole weird scene.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Man, if you were in charge of that restaurant, you're
- 9:29Speaker 2: the head chef at this place, you have you've ordered,
- 9:33Speaker 2: You've had to order stuff via the you know, the
- 9:36Speaker 2: convenience store. I've had to order stuff via a restaurant.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And that's why you see specials a lot in restaurants
- 9:43Speaker 2: because it's like, okay, let's let's do a special on
- 9:46Speaker 2: the group or you know, stuffed group, right, because we're
- 9:49Speaker 2: sitting on a group and they we need to get
- 9:52Speaker 2: it's it's great, it tastes beautiful, but it has a
- 9:55Speaker 2: couple of days. Those are the days.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Somebody just said, I've only got audio and one channel too,
- 10:01Speaker 1: but that's only because I have one AirPod in. I
- 10:05Speaker 1: love you all. That's funny.
- 10:07Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 10:08Speaker 1: That is funny.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I thought it was gonna be some super stone right now.
- 10:11Speaker 1: That's funny. So this is uh enlightening. You know, you
- 10:18Speaker 1: talked about my relatively new dog, Otis, who we've had
- 10:21Speaker 1: just under a year. He's a you know a rescue.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Who gave you the biggest scratch I think I've ever
- 10:25Speaker 2: seen from a dog.
- 10:28Speaker 1: We he is high energy. He just brings the heat.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And one of the quirks about him that we discovered
- 10:36Speaker 1: is he will not let us trim his nails. And
- 10:40Speaker 1: that's common in some dogs, and there's there's methods around it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I know, the peanut butter on the hat suggestion is
- 10:47Speaker 1: gonna come in that that wouldn't work with this dog.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I'm not cutting the dogs now.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Literally, at the end of the conversation, what we had
- 10:55Speaker 1: to do with him and works is our vet gives
- 10:58Speaker 1: him a doggie downer, the cocktail that we pick up
- 11:02Speaker 1: the day before, and we start giving him some of
- 11:05Speaker 1: this in small increments the night before the appointments, and
- 11:09Speaker 1: then the next day, and then an hour before we go.
- 11:11Speaker 1: He gets a final liquid melatonin dose and it brings
- 11:16Speaker 1: him down for him to a more tolerable level. Then
- 11:19Speaker 1: we bring him in, muzzle him and between three of us,
- 11:24Speaker 1: it takes three of us, all right. My wife sits
- 11:27Speaker 1: in a panic because she hates seeing this because she,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Just loves I do too. Exactly.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I understand what's going on with him.
- 11:34Speaker 2: They're better if you don't cut those nails. They're in pain,
- 11:37Speaker 2: so it's good to do.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So I put the muzzle on him. That's you know,
- 11:40Speaker 1: the owner's got to do that because the vet or
- 11:43Speaker 1: the text try to do that sometimes, so somebody. So
- 11:46Speaker 1: he let me put the muzzle on him, and then
- 11:48Speaker 1: we turn him laterly on his side. This is what works.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I cradle him up top. Then you've got the two texts.
- 11:55Speaker 1: The other one is helping steady the rest of his body,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and then you get the tech who's actually gonna clip
- 12:00Speaker 1: his nail. By the way, this cost eighteen dollars to
- 12:03Speaker 1: do so, and it gets it done, and it needs
- 12:06Speaker 1: to be done. As you pointed out. As we flip him,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm on the ground next to him, his leg flips
- 12:13Speaker 1: over of the you know, these nails that haven't been clipped,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and like a razor. I live down my calf.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I wish you could show that to the camera. I
- 12:25Speaker 2: bet you could move this camera and then get it
- 12:27Speaker 2: back up.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I'm having some problems with my leg.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Look at the size of that thing.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yeah it's right here.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's.
- 12:36Speaker 1: From my kneecapped down almost.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It's a midshin or yeah, that's a good ten inch er.
- 12:42Speaker 1: The crazy part, I didn't even know it had happened
- 12:45Speaker 1: because it was such a sharp you know, it's like
- 12:47Speaker 1: a razor and quick. Yeah, and the tech goes, oh
- 12:50Speaker 1: my god, because I guess the second it slashed me blood. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: it was bleeding, I'm like, oh crap, I'm sorry. I
- 12:57Speaker 1: mean to be bleeding all over your floor. I thought
- 12:59Speaker 1: this is going to be a quick deal. We were
- 13:01Speaker 1: there total of six minutes.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yea, my wife's taking her dog to you notice that. Sure,
- 13:08Speaker 2: my wife's taking her dog to get it's uh its
- 13:11Speaker 2: nails done so. But he, thankfully he does. Old the
- 13:15Speaker 2: shit eater Teddy does well with the nail trim where
- 13:18Speaker 2: he is chill and just sits there.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Otis is the first dog we've had that hasn't let
- 13:22Speaker 1: me cut his nails. That's always been my you know deal.
- 13:25Speaker 1: That was one of the things.
- 13:26Speaker 2: That's where you said that at the beginning about cutting
- 13:29Speaker 2: his nails, and that you guys did you guys used
- 13:31Speaker 2: to I would never even think about cutting the dog's nails.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It's going to the vet because I'm just I'm not well.
- 13:37Speaker 1: They don't take it to a groomer too. That gets
- 13:40Speaker 1: done there.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where that's where we take her, take Teddy
- 13:43Speaker 2: Is to the groomer. That's where I met, not the vet.
- 13:46Speaker 1: So the uh the other thing. Other notes. We ran
- 13:49Speaker 1: a doggy DNA on Otis because we were curious to
- 13:54Speaker 1: try to get some sort of explanation as to some
- 13:56Speaker 1: of his quirks.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Did you find out that his mother slept with their uncle?
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm kidding.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah, So the doggie DNA panel came back this week
- 14:07Speaker 1: from the company that we sent it off to. A
- 14:10Speaker 1: lot of you have probably done this because you're curious
- 14:11Speaker 1: about your own pets, and you know what kind of
- 14:13Speaker 1: mix you got there. So it came back and knowing
- 14:18Speaker 1: his dominant species, it starts to make sense some of
- 14:22Speaker 1: his traits. His traits, yeah, mostly Belgian MALINOI. It's a shepherd.
- 14:29Speaker 1: It's a breed of shepherd. Okay, okay, And it's like
- 14:31Speaker 1: a herding dog. It's a high energy dog. Sense, it's
- 14:36Speaker 1: a fiercely loyal dog. And it's also a dog that
- 14:40Speaker 1: needs constant mental and physical stimulation. Stimulation. Yes, so that's
- 14:48Speaker 1: why he's you know, always, Let's bring it, Let's bring it,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Let's bring it. It's also why now a dog path
- 14:54Speaker 1: ripped and worn down in my backyard where he gets
- 14:56Speaker 1: his daily exercise several times. I mean, he is fast
- 15:00Speaker 1: as hell and he has literally beat a path from
- 15:03Speaker 1: what I'm just thankful we have a fairly good sized backyard.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Most dog owners have that.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe he is really just I mean done a
- 15:11Speaker 1: number back there. And uh so we got that. That
- 15:14Speaker 1: came back, and then there was a whole bunch of
- 15:16Speaker 1: other you know, traces of other breeds, and there was
- 15:20Speaker 1: mainly that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: It all explains everything you've always said about Otis.
- 15:26Speaker 1: It did not explain why he barks at the pool.
- 15:28Speaker 1: There was nothing in there to indicate why he still
- 15:30Speaker 1: barks at the pool.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I can tell you why, but I don't really want
- 15:34Speaker 2: to say it. You know, I really can't. I get
- 15:39Speaker 2: frowned upon. But no, look when you that's all about
- 15:43Speaker 2: now the uh I was gonna make a poor form joke,
- 15:49Speaker 2: the and again joke, but you were You saw me
- 15:52Speaker 2: scrolling in my phone while while you were talking about
- 15:55Speaker 2: the different breeds that he is and everything. That's what
- 15:58Speaker 2: I was looking for.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Your phone went dark. That is that what Teddy did
- 16:03Speaker 1: to you?
- 16:03Speaker 2: No, that is from my neighbor Drew, you know club Drew's.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Did you hold that up to the camera this way?
- 16:12Speaker 1: There you go? What happened there?
- 16:15Speaker 2: So? No, it was one of those things where it's
- 16:19Speaker 2: a dog that was hyper and would jump up. It
- 16:22Speaker 2: was my arm. Yeah, he hyper and he would jump
- 16:25Speaker 2: up and I blocked him, and of course I bruise easily,
- 16:28Speaker 2: so immediately, Oh that is what Teddy did. What Teddy
- 16:33Speaker 2: did was bit the shit out of me.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Remember he still tries to bite you, does he still
- 16:38Speaker 1: try to bite you?
- 16:39Speaker 2: No, this just when we leave he barks because he
- 16:42Speaker 2: wheaten terriers, which is what our dog is are, sorry,
- 16:46Speaker 2: my wife and kids dog is and he even though
- 16:48Speaker 2: I'm the one that takes care of him all day,
- 16:49Speaker 2: but wheat and terriers have separation anxiety, all of them,
- 16:56Speaker 2: and some way worse. And he is on the way
- 16:59Speaker 2: worse side where he just he just doesn't doesn't want
- 17:03Speaker 2: you leaving because he doesn't think he'd come back. So
- 17:06Speaker 2: my oldest daughter just says, Teddy sit there and just
- 17:09Speaker 2: walks out. He obeys her and doesn't do anything. But
- 17:12Speaker 2: with the rest of us, he gets right up on
- 17:14Speaker 2: this perselling.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Off, gets literally angry.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and uh, you know, I've had a hole
- 17:22Speaker 2: in the back of my shirt from it, and what
- 17:25Speaker 2: are you looking at over there?
- 17:27Speaker 1: I just we're getting more comments on audio. One I
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't another one says it's distorted.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Well, I'll listen to it after.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Okay, Well, we have had some back end changes here
- 17:42Speaker 1: in this week which created issues with our daily segment
- 17:46Speaker 1: podcasts that we do, so I don't know if this
- 17:48Speaker 1: is related to it or not. I will explore that
- 17:51Speaker 1: and try to find out and apologize in advance for
- 17:54Speaker 1: any technical difficulties we're having.
- 17:56Speaker 2: They understand we have no control over that. We'll get
- 17:58Speaker 2: in touch with the engineers and them engineer all right, Uh.
- 18:02Speaker 1: What Orlando Magic? Okay, So they had a shot last
- 18:07Speaker 1: night to close out the Pistons in Detroit. A close game,
- 18:10Speaker 1: good game, Pollo, fantastic night Cunningham though equally fantastic night
- 18:15Speaker 1: for the Pistons.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I told you they mentioned it last night's game. They
- 18:20Speaker 2: need to double team Cuntingham. No, Cunningham, yeah, cut So
- 18:25Speaker 2: they need to double double team him. And I know
- 18:28Speaker 2: immediately you'll say, but they're probably saying we need to
- 18:32Speaker 2: double Pollo as well. We have they have a couple
- 18:36Speaker 2: other shooters, like one, it's dial In probably two, but
- 18:41Speaker 2: we have more with with Bain and Caine and Black.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I mentioned this with Bulldog during the sports page this
- 18:48Speaker 1: morning and I asked both of you. I said, they're
- 18:51Speaker 1: still up three to the Magic with the next game
- 18:53Speaker 1: Friday night here in Orlando. It's not the end of
- 18:57Speaker 1: the world if they lose, but it certainly feels like
- 19:01Speaker 1: a must win because you don't want this thing going
- 19:03Speaker 1: back to Detroit for a game seven. You just don't.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And on the flip side of the coin, now you've
- 19:08Speaker 1: got the Lightning in that kind of scenario. Because they
- 19:13Speaker 1: lost at home last night in a series that was
- 19:16Speaker 1: to to they're now down facing elimination tomorrow night, headed
- 19:20Speaker 1: back to Montreal. I'd say they're in a bit more
- 19:23Speaker 1: of a precarious situation.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Oh definitely, Even though.
- 19:27Speaker 1: The Lightning have here historically as of late, done better
- 19:31Speaker 1: on the road than at home, I would still thref home.
- 19:34Speaker 2: And that they have so much, you know, so much
- 19:38Speaker 2: playoff experience and winning the whole thing. I think that
- 19:43Speaker 2: has something to do with it.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Nine plus years they've been in the playoffs, so it's
- 19:47Speaker 1: a good streak for them. I'm not counting them out
- 19:49Speaker 1: by any streak.
- 19:50Speaker 2: No, no, but magic come on this Friday closing it
- 19:54Speaker 2: out at home. Of course, there's been several people who go,
- 19:58Speaker 2: oh yeah, they lost it on purpose. Guys say they
- 20:00Speaker 2: can have the win at home that I didn't know
- 20:02Speaker 2: they did not. I mean, that's good glass half full thinking.
- 20:06Speaker 1: It doesn't work like that. Yeah, So anyway, all right,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'll dig into this and see what I
- 20:12Speaker 1: can find out about what's going on with the audio
- 20:14Speaker 1: situation for those of you experience and issues and try
- 20:17Speaker 1: to get that sordid. So you got anything else you
- 20:20Speaker 1: want to do address here before we call it a show.
- 20:22Speaker 2: No, I'm glad that guy that that everybody witnessed yesterday
- 20:26Speaker 2: at my gym's all right, I could have been.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It's a little disconcerting there. That's awesome. That also brings
- 20:34Speaker 1: up the whole You're lucky that you're in a setting
- 20:36Speaker 1: where there are people who are trained medically who can
- 20:39Speaker 1: you know, assist, render assistance because sometimes you know you're
- 20:43Speaker 1: out somewhere and someone has a situation where you feel
- 20:46Speaker 1: like you want to jump in and try to help
- 20:47Speaker 1: because there's no one else there. But it all runs
- 20:50Speaker 1: through your head. And I know there's good s, Aarton
- 20:52Speaker 1: laws and that stuff as well, but it's just like I.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Thought to myself, what if I was the only person
- 20:58Speaker 2: to be here with him, and one of the nurses
- 21:01Speaker 2: brought up we should all learn this equipment so that
- 21:04Speaker 2: when you are alone in that situation, you know what
- 21:07Speaker 2: to do. And I'm like, if somebody does it with me,
- 21:10Speaker 2: they're wait until now I'm on one, I'm gonna blow
- 21:14Speaker 2: a couple times. I just don't know what to do.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I mean, I know, did.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You say you're gonna blow a couple of times?
- 21:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna do you know CPR? But uh, I don't
- 21:24Speaker 2: know if they have COVID. No, I'm kidding. I'm totally joking,
- 21:27Speaker 2: but no, I'm gonna I'm gonna try to perform CPR
- 21:30Speaker 2: and what I know of it, but I wouldn't know
- 21:32Speaker 2: how to run that machine. Okay. I immediately thought, dude,
- 21:38Speaker 2: this guy was alone. It was just me and him.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Haul out. Nobody's here that can help, all right?
- 21:45Speaker 1: One final notes. A week from today Rockville gets underway,
- 21:49Speaker 1: So we know a lot of you will be headed
- 21:51Speaker 1: out to that. Have a blast ready for it. Have
- 21:53Speaker 1: a blast out there. Obviously, we'll be chatting wats more
- 21:58Speaker 1: before then, with our show each morning on a r R,
- 22:00Speaker 1: which we hope you have time to check out when
- 22:02Speaker 1: you when you're able.
- 22:03Speaker 2: To, and give it away tickets as well.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Friday, we'll have more four day passes for Welcome
- 22:07Speaker 1: to Rock Film. All right, everybody, have a great rest
- 22:10Speaker 1: of your day and we'll get together again soon, say
