  Speaker 1: for it. First, John, Chapter four, verse number seventeen, in

  Speaker 1: this union and fellowship with him. Love is completed and

  Speaker 1: perfected with us. Why so that we may have confidence

  Speaker 1: in the day of judgment, with assurance and boldness to

  Speaker 1: face him. Why because as He is get ready soul,

  Speaker 1: are we in this world? I think that's how eye

  Speaker 1: is where you have the boldness and confidence in knowing

  Speaker 1: without sin, Jesus was perfect, Jesus completed the law, and

  Speaker 1: say we're going to be like a God over our

  Speaker 1: in this world, in this world right now, unless he's

  Speaker 1: talking about a different world, and man, I could be wrong, right,

  Speaker 1: but reading in context, if you want to read the

  Speaker 1: the scripture is clear that says we could be like Jesus,

  Speaker 1: that we are being, we are perfected in His love,

  Speaker 1: with new creatures. First and foremost, we're not the same

  Speaker 1: People should be seen and noticing the difference we share

  Speaker 1: in the Lord's nature and are united with him in spirit.

  Speaker 1: verse number seventeen. For the Bible scholars and Bible studiers

  Speaker 1: in his word. So this means that our identity is

  Speaker 1: already already aligned with His will, his purpose, his plan,

  Speaker 1: and we have been given His righteousness. And you imagine

  Speaker 1: that we have the righteousness of God through Christ's sun. Wow,

  Speaker 1: Like it gets good. Second Corinthians five twenty one. So

  Speaker 1: we have Second Corinthians five seventeen and sewod Corinthians five

  Speaker 1: twenty one. That's why it's important to read the whole

  Speaker 1: chapter so that way you can see these principles. You

  Speaker 1: an effort on my own to be like the Lord.

  Speaker 1: I'm allowing God, by way of his Holy Spirit, to

  Speaker 1: work his life out through me. And you could do

  Speaker 1: the same thing. If you have Holy Spirit, God living
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: inside of you. You're born again. You trust God, you
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: know God.

  Speaker 1: I don't follow God because I see him. I follow
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: God because I know Him. Because we don't follow a
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: visible God. We follow an invisible God. And because we

  Speaker 1: don't have to see before we believe. We don't walk
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: by sight. We walk by faith, not by sight, because
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: we don't see a visible God. But we don't follow

  Speaker 1: God because we see him. We follow God because we

  Speaker 1: know him, We know his word, We trust his word,

  Speaker 1: and we obedient to his word.

  Speaker 1: And sometimes it hurts, but it's not really hurting us.

  Speaker 1: It hurts to be obedience sometimes, but it's not really

  Speaker 1: hurting us. It's hurting our flesh. The flesh hates obedience,

  Speaker 1: the flesh hates righteousness, The flesh hates the Spirit of God.

  Speaker 1: So rather than striving to imitate Jesus through our own efforts,

  Speaker 1: be who am who I already am? How much effort

  Speaker 1: So shine in front of men that they will glorify

  Speaker 1: our God in heaven. They won't glorify me. They don't

  Speaker 1: have to follow me, They don't have to follow you.

  Speaker 1: Please don't idolize a human being or an icon or

  Speaker 1: avatar or idol, worshiper or no, don't follow after man.

  Speaker 1: If they're not following after the Lord, point blank period.

  Speaker 1: no more. Follow the scripture, follow the word that was

  Speaker 1: You know it's sad that a lot of people in

  Speaker 1: the church world, right, they'll follow somebody. This happened to

  Speaker 1: me personally. They'll follow somebody and then somebody gets into

  Speaker 1: a whole lot of issue, and then they try to
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: xk them out and deny that that person that they
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: were following, right, no longer has credibility for the kingdom
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: or in the kingdom. Meanwhile, they were going worldwide. When

  Speaker 1: I said it happened to me, I was following a
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: worldwide minister, Amen, through his ministry.

  Speaker 2: I never traveled to see him. Amen.

  Speaker 1: But I will say that when he got caught up

  Speaker 1: in a mess, after he was already dead, it came out.

  Speaker 2: Amen. The ministry dissolved. But the media and all his.

  Speaker 1: Books and everything, they took it off the shelf and

  Speaker 1: they took it out the media. That's an old school
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: terms whack. What about the world that he reached with
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: the gospel message? What about the word that got put

  Speaker 1: in his heart and in his life, and he preached,

  Speaker 1: and he taught, and he went to universities and had debates,
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: friendly debates with the students that were atheists, that were agnostic,
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: that went into scientology, that went into all kinds of
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: other religions, and he presented the gospel clearly.
• 16:41
  Speaker 2: What happened to all of that.

  Speaker 1: People say, oh, we're not gonna follow that person the
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: more because look what happened.
• 16:46
  Speaker 2: It was a scandal at the end. If that was
• 16:49
  Speaker 2: the way that the Lord judged us, we would never
• 16:51
  Speaker 2: be saved. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So be careful with that, because they hurt me a man.

  Speaker 1: I was a young Christian and I was looking at that,
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: and I was like, Hm, that's not right. How are

  Speaker 1: they trying to wipe this man's legacy out of the
• 17:05
  Speaker 1: off the earth when he was used by God to save,
• 17:09
  Speaker 1: used by God to teach, used by God to inspire,
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: used by God to draw people to the kingdom.

  Speaker 2: And then yeah, well it was true that he was
• 17:19
  Speaker 2: in a scandal at the end of his life.

  Speaker 1: It came out and the ministry dissolved. But the ministers
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: in that ministry are still ministering. Some of them are
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: still ministering, Amen, and you know.

  Speaker 2: Who are we. We don't know if he repented right before.
• 17:34
  Speaker 1: He died, because God's grace is so amazing that that
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: could have happened anyway.

  Speaker 2: I don't know why I'm going there.

  Speaker 1: That's for somebody that might be in that same situation

  Speaker 1: that you were following somebody Amen, in the kingdom, and

  Speaker 1: then that person is like out there right now. Just

  Speaker 1: pray for them, Amen. Gently go to that person. If

  Speaker 1: you know that person, person Amen, and try to restore
• 18:01
  Speaker 1: that person with a gentle spirit.

  Speaker 2: Do what the Bible says, approach them.

  Speaker 1: If they reject the rebuke or the correction, then bring
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: somebody else.

  Speaker 2: Then put the church involved. Get the church involved.

  Speaker 1: If now they reject the whole church, then the Bible

  Speaker 1: is clear. Put them out for a season, let the

  Speaker 1: enemy do what the enemy wants to do, to eat

  Speaker 1: up that flesh, and then hopefully on the other side
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: of that they will.

  Speaker 2: Come back and repent. Amen.

  Speaker 1: We love each other so much that will risk our friendship.

  Speaker 1: I love people so much that if they're going the

  Speaker 1: wrong way, our risk our friendship to try to get

  Speaker 2: Amen. We should do the same for each other.

  Speaker 1: Over time, our attitudes, our actions may reflect more of

  Speaker 1: who we are in Christ as we grow in our understanding,

  Speaker 1: as we grow in our expression of His truth. Remember

  Speaker 1: Roman chapters twelve to renew our minds, not follow the

  Speaker 1: patterns of this world. That's because when we have the
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: minor Christ and we're not fat following the patterns of
• 19:09
  Speaker 1: this world were.

  Speaker 2: Becoming more like him.
• 19:11
  Speaker 1: Did Jesus while he was walking on this planet or
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: follow the patterns of this world system?

  Speaker 2: Exactly? He did it.

  Speaker 1: That's why he was always getting the religious people of

  Speaker 1: his time angry. They were like, who does this carpenter's

  Speaker 1: son think he is? Who does this rabbi? Who does
