- Mark Hayes (00:05.634) Alright, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another exciting edition, Two Men in Black and White. Hey, you know what? The educated electorate understands that this shit that's going on now in America is not sustainable. The economy that requires young people to graduate college and go straight back to the fucking nest is not sustainable. Who's gonna buy televisions? Who's gonna buy fucking cars? Who is gonna buy the goods and services that America has made a living off of for the past what century? Who the fuck is gonna buy it when a buddy of mine is a realtor down in Florida selling a piece of property? About 1100 1200 square feet for 550K? Do the math on that. What is that? $495 a square foot? Are you fucking kidding me? Who can afford that? Brock and Ellis joins me now. Two men in black and white and honest conversation. Brock, let's talk about it. The biggest city in the country just had the Mayor Mandani, socialist candidates, backed by him, and at his urging, elected to office, knocking off a couple of prominent fucking incumbents. What say you? Is that a moment or is that a movement? Like we've been saying about FIFA and the multicultural, multi ethnic Freaking coming together of the wor This is a coming together of the world. This is not just the New York Knicks. FIFA soccer, football, the most in the most popular sport in the world. What say you, my friend? Brock Ganeles (02:00.094) Well, I think you ignore what goes on in New York City at your own peril. And for those who think that it's like a regional story, that there was this number one massive vibe shift in the country's psychology that happened about starting about a month ago, that carried through, that handed off to FIFA that has now swept the country. For anyone who thinks that the you know, the political dynamite that just got dropped. Into the New York Democratic Party on Tuesday is just something that's gonna stay within the confines of the Big Apple. I think they're crazy. I think this is a start of something big, not like the culmination of something big. And that this more progressive, calm democratic socialist movement is just getting more and more organized. But beyond being more and more organized, it's just it's just it's just more popular. Like. Well how can you People voted. A lot of fucking people voted. So a lot of these dems who think that this is like a non-story starting with Hakeem Jeffries, but then it was like Gottheimer and Fetterman and Jamie Harrison was out ranting and raving that, you know, these New York D Democratic Socialists just start their own party. They're just crazy. It is where the party is. And I just feel like the rest of the world hasn't caught onto it yet. Mark Hayes (03:12.974) Whatever. Mark Hayes (03:19.066) Right. Mark Hayes (03:23.96) Well yeah, but Brock, let me ask you this. Why are they talking about where the party is and not where the people are? That's the question I have. Where why why are you talking about where the party fuck where the party is. The party is where the people are. That's the disconnect with American politics right now. Right? Republicans want to call themselves Republicans. Motherfucker, you're not a Republican, you're MAGA. Right? That's that's where the people are. That's where MAGA is. You're in there. We are far, far fucking we are Pluto left right now on the blue side. Why? We're there because it makes sense. We're not asking for freebies and handouts and any other, you know, media-driven narrative that's created. We are asking for common sense solutions to problems that are plaguing us right now. We want lower gas prices. We want lower cost of living. We want lower rent. We want We we want to be able to make a living and keep what we make. We you should be able to keep what you kill. Right? If Brock, if you're driving Uber right now in a massive city like New York, right? Do you know that there's a surcharge to go into the city during certain times? To drive into the city at certain times. You've got to pay an extra fee. You gotta pay an extra fee because you're in the city clogging shit up. Brock Ganeles (04:43.361) Yeah. Yeah. Mark Hayes (04:51.48) How how is that sustainable? How is that what's that a good answer to? Help me understand here. Why are you not where the people are? Why are you worried about where the party you know what, Jamie? That's why you had to go and we got this lame Ken Martin trying to run the party now. I I don't know what you people are thinking. And why are we listening to anything that Fetterman says? You know, Fetterman should be mooted, right? With without qu anything Fetterman says. Should be taken with a grain of salt and thrown out the fucking window. Brock Ganeles (05:24.909) Okay, I'm gonna come back to you on surge pricing because as a former New York City resident, I love it because there's too many fucking cars in the cities and they all should be more walkable. I think it's better for the economy when your city's more walkable because people mill around more, spend more money, and enjoy life more, it's quality of life. Beyond that though, that Uber driver can't afford his fucking gas. How much is he gonna charge his customers, right? What surcharge can he put on there to get to make his living? That's the one that's the one part of it. But the second part of it is that we're talking these this democratic socialist agenda that's supposedly so crazy is really just talking about basic human quality of life issues. And it's a it's a that it's a truly populist movement because it's concerned about the people in the middle class and lower economically. Mark Hayes (05:55.268) What I'm saying. Mark Hayes (06:11.244) Exactly, Brock Ganeles (06:22.413) Trump was a fake populist that talked to that group, the white version of that group's racism. But his policies are not populist. They're not helping anyone except the 1%. On the left, there is an opportunity to actually deliver policies that help the broader group of people. And it gets back to an issue we've discussed, which was none of the wealthy people left New York when Mandami got elected, yet he's making life better for the everyone else. Mark Hayes (06:50.85) Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (06:53.281) What's wrong with that? Mark Hayes (06:56.004) Crazy, right? Brock, I want to tell you, you look around this country and you look where there is an educated, an educated electorate, you'll see these quality of life issues are popular. These quality of life issues are popular. Right? And and and Brock, look, I don't know how educated you have to be to work in a meat processing plant, right? But let's go to Kearney, Nebraska, where they had to shut down the entire city, the entire town, because the meat plant closed. Okay, you mean to tell me that they can't put one and one together and get two? I think they can. I think they can. Their workforce left, the prices were too high. Why is beef at a record high? You ever been to Dallas, Brock? You ever driven through Dallas? You'll run into seven, ten, Twelve, half a dozen farms, depending on your route, with black Angus cattle, less than two miles away from a Walmart refrigerator super center. You know, Tom Thumb, two blocks away. You know, there are grocery stores hovering over the heads of black Angus cattle. Why is it so expensive? Somebody please help me understand why. And why is it so egregious for us to demand a better quality of life? And ask that our elected leaders work toward that end. How is Hakeem Jeffries working toward that end? How is Chuckles? How is Chuckles Schumer working toward that end? He ain't. They ain't. And remember, we talked about this yesterday. Hakeem said he was a man of the people. If you don't know, now you know, quoting Biggie in his impeachment proceedings. Brock Ganeles (08:52.791) I mean but he's not where the people are right now. The peop what ha what what I what I believe has happened is that the people have moved. The leaders are still over here, the people have moved way over here. And they're just remarkably out of touch. And the fact that there wasn't a reflective moment on Tuesday instead of a reflexive fight against it. In there was no self-reflection. Mark Hayes (08:57.26) No, sir. Mark Hayes (09:02.052) Yeah. Mm-hmm. Brock Ganeles (09:21.875) As to whoa, why did all these people vote for Mandani's candidates instead of the guys that we wanted to win? Why did the people do that? Mandani didn't do it, he didn't go in there and vote a a million times, right? Why did the people go to the voting booth and pull that lever? And the other thing that's really tricky, and it's becoming more obvious. Mark Hayes (09:30.328) Right. Mark Hayes (09:34.25) Right. Brock Ganeles (09:49.854) Is that and this is a ne a New York story too? Because everyone wants to talk about Urban as being black and brown, but there's a lot of white Jewish people in New York City. And they voted against the pro-Israeli APAC candidates. They voted against them also. Because American J a portion of American Jews are not on board with the support. Mark Hayes (10:00.44) Hello. Brock Ganeles (10:18.387) Of the Israeli government, no matter what they do. Because American Jews like me, who feel a connection to Israel, root for Israel, want it to exist, but don't want them committing war crimes and atrocities, feel feel responsible for that fuckery over there. At the same time that we feel responsible for the fuckery here. We got a double whammy. We're like everywhere we look, we have horrendous leadership and governments doing, you know, stupid shit and ruining the world. And therefore, New York Jews were also on Mondani's side and voting against incumbent candidates that were too pro-Israel. Come on, Dan Goldman lost two to one. Mark Hayes (10:40.537) Right. Mark Hayes (10:52.506) Stupid shit, yep. Brock Ganeles (11:07.115) That's not just black and brown people. That's not what that district looks like. That's a lot of white Jewish people voting against Dan Goldman. And why is that not resonating with Democratic Party leadership where they're like, Whoa. You know, this is like an earthquake going on beneath us. Mark Hayes (11:08.45) I ain't close. Nope. Mark Hayes (11:25.432) Yeah, Brock, it it makes no sense that they're not picking up the clues. The calls are coming from inside the house. The calls are coming from inside the house. Why do you not why why would American Jews want to be connected to the atrocities that are happening overseas in the Middle East? Why would they why would they want to align themselves with that? The the American Jews that I know are not people like that, are not cruel, mean, like mean-spirited, like warmongers. So what? Why do you think successful people, what are they, on the upper west side of Manhattan? Would want to align Brock, you said it. The numbers don't lie. Men lie, women lie, kids lie. The numbers don't lie. You got beat two to one. It is what it is. Either either either you come on over to us willingly and try to shape and form a message that leads us to where we need to be and getting our democracy back in line, or you'll you'll you'll come at like you said, at your own peril. Brock Ganeles (12:41.441) Hey, the ch the the chatter in New York is we're coming for the Bronx next, right? They're coming for Jeffries next. And they're coming for, I guess, Richie Torres is another congressman up there. Cause they didn't sweep everyone out in this cycle, but they swept a bunch of them out. And, you know, we're gonna see, we'll see what the trickle effect is into other municipalities. It'll probably be more a city focused you know, kind of voting. Mark Hayes (12:46.351) Yeah. Mark Hayes (12:51.096) Yep. Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (13:10.273) voter turnout kind of initiative first, but I'm loving it. I mean you know everyone's like the party has to be unified this that and the other thing. Not right now. No we gotta have all our fights out in the open right now. Let's have it out. Let's see where everyone stands. Yeah we have to coalesce on election day in November but for now let's you know let's have some let's have some arguments. Mark Hayes (13:13.199) Yeah. Mark Hayes (13:29.066) Mm. Mark Hayes (13:38.287) Yep. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Where should we be according to Jamie Harrison and Fetterman and those elk and those individuals? Where do they think we should be? Status quo? Status quo ain't getting it. Four dollar gas ain't getting it. I had to fill up twice for a road trip earlier this week. It hurt. It hurt. I I had to make some decisions. I had I had to look for alternatives, Brock. I'm on my phone looking for Sam's that I can pull off the highway or a Costco and get to in a relatively quick, you know, short time. Brock Ganeles (14:23.005) Right. Four dollars Southern prices, four dollars and fifty-nine cents up here in the beautiful Hudson River Valley. Look, affordability, look, what the thing is that Trump's out of touch because he's basically saying affordability doesn't matter, and he's still trying to wake up every day and sell people on the fact that the economy is good. It's an epic failure, but he doesn't know any other way to operate except to lie. He's a pathological liar. Mark Hayes (14:29.71) See? See? And go west. Mark Hayes (14:46.511) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (14:53.118) And so he's just gonna lie every day. We know what we're gonna get from Trump. But on the democratic side, we can't have that delusional thinking. Mark Hayes (15:03.895) No, we cannot. Brock Ganeles (15:05.215) Right, have to talk about real policies, acknowledge exactly where the problems are, and then see where people stand. Let the chips fall after at least acknowledging the problems and putting policies out there that can solve problems. Right? Everyone hates Mandani because he wanted the bus to be free. You know what? Maybe it works. It certainly helps people at the lower end of the economic spectrum. It's like a tax cut for them, maybe a six to Mark Hayes (15:18.286) Mm-hmm. Well, black. Mark Hayes (15:29.433) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (15:34.399) Eight dollar a day tax cut for them. Mark Hayes (15:37.657) Yep. Yep. Well, well, Brad, let's talk about it. Because you know, your boy gave a speech the other the other night and everybody walked out. Donald Trump gave a speech in Washington, talked about the vandals tearing up his beautiful reflecting pool. People walk you know why people walked out because he was insulting their intelligence. Brock Ganeles (15:39.799) What's so bad about that? What's so bad about that? What's so wrong about that? Mark Hayes (16:04.835) He was insulting their intelligence telling them shit they knew that was not true. He walked out, they walked out, they said, screw it, bucket, the guy's still lying, the guy's totally detached from reality, he's the Lulu, and yeah, we're gonna get out of here. And they walked off the mall. Brock Ganeles (16:21.133) But they but they expected something different when they went in. Mark Hayes (16:25.624) Well, that's the problem. That's the problem. Brock Ganeles (16:27.297) Who the fuck was showing up to that? They're like the UAE saying they got bamboozled. Like you didn't know what to exactly expect from him after ten years? And they really thought they were gonna get something different. And what was he doing? That was the kickoff for that that fucking fair that they're doing on the lawn that some states are boycotting, that like no one's gonna want to go to. That's gonna be an epic failure and a dud. Was that what it was? It was the inaugural Yeah. Mark Hayes (16:35.034) Right. Mark Hayes (16:52.738) What is it, the the the teenage Olympics or something? god. yeah, it ain't happening. you know, I I'm I'm I'm just I'm I'm over, you know, the the constant lying, the blaming, the I mean, look, you know, he and he and he's also got his henchmen. you know, up there talking about young people are enthralled with hookup culture, but now but since Trump got in office, they've started going to church and and and and and seeking the truth. Really? Young people are so pissed off. Young people can't engage in hook up culture right now. Not if they have any respect for their parents home. Right? Like I mean, I I don't know anybody who was, you know, in college and was like, you know, when they came home from college they had their girlfriend living with them just so they could hook up. Like, that's the hookup culture. Mom and dad are not going for the hook up culture. So what are like, what is he what are these people talking? They you're not getting two when you put one and one together. It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. Yeah, it's Brock Ganeles (17:57.056) I don't even know what they're talking about. It's bullshit. Yeah. It's bullshit. There's no there's no logic behind a lot of the arguments. Hopefully America's tiring of it. Part of what we saw in New York also was a sweeping out of the old, you know, the seventy-one year old you know, Hispanic ten-year congressman get lost to a thirty-two-year-old. That's youth coming out. That's energy. They knocked on doors, all the things that an energetic party does to win and it should be applauded and lauded and replicated and Ken Martin sitting there at the diner with the four other white guys should be looking at that that fucking manifesto they put together on why they lost two years ago and should start figuring out like where are the fucking voters? Not where are the corporations and the big donors where Mark Hayes (18:48.378) Hello. Brock Ganeles (18:54.921) Are the fucking voters? Where is the electorate? And let's go to where the electorate is. And the democratic leadership literally thinks that they can like dictate to the voters versus reflect listen and reflect the will of the voters. And it's just like a crazy losing strategy that maybe just happens when you become like a professional politician. That you start thinking that that's the way it works versus from the ground up. So all these movements happening at the same time, Mark. The joy of New York City, the absolute celebratory love fest that's going on throughout the country due to the World Cup, and the pro what I'm considering to be a seismic political election result on Tuesday in New York. And I think they're all intertwined. and all interrelated because they all bring along that multicultural element that is threatening the status quo here in America. Mark Hayes (19:59.31) Yeah. Yeah. Mark Hayes (20:06.51) Yep. It is it is really turning on its head the status quo, Brown, because Americans are now realizing that the greed that has run amok from the one percent is no longer a good deal for the American people, for the ninety-nine percent. Right? I I I mean, it is so ridiculous that we cannot Stand to continue on this path, obviously we won't have a democracy. But then again, we won't have a functioning society. We but I mean Brock, we're sliding further and further behind our rivals in every category. Whether it's the sciences, whether it's medicine, whether I mean, I mean, look look how far we're falling in basketball. Right? I mean, arguably, you could say Jalen Brunson was the best player in the finals, but a clear number two was a Frenchman. Hey, you know, look how look look at look at all the European players that are coming over. Right? Be and and why is that, Brock? Because the AAU, the American farm system for for American talent, is based on what? Brock Ganeles (21:33.976) Pay to yeah, pay to play. Yeah, a lot of Europeans talking about that. The way we have such a pay to play for the youth versus just allowing them to learn the game that you have to you have to have money to get in, which is could just make it harder for more and more. But that's once again, that's the American that's toxic capitalism working its way all the way through into sports, that everything here becomes a business, gets bought by private equity, and then has to become some sort of for profit machine. The same way we look at education. Mark Hayes (21:34.37) The almighty dollar. Mark Hayes (21:39.46) Yeah. Mark Hayes (21:43.044) Right. Mark Hayes (21:58.901) yeah. Brock Ganeles (22:01.301) And getting away from the public school. So, like, we have a lot of flaws to fix, right? We've always talked about that laundry list of like 20 things that need to get fixed. but the vibe is there for it to happen. And maybe I think people are starting to wake up to the fact that they don't have to tolerate the status quo the way it is. They don't have to tolerate that same fucker who thinks he's part of a party machine, just feeling he's preordained to keep his job no matter what he does. You know, that shakes up societies 'cause he's got the money because he has the money behind him. And you're finding that, you know, money we they always they always judge candidates by how much money they raised, right? And it's sort of like money doesn't necessarily win these races. it's you know, there it's it's Mark Hayes (22:34.244) Keep the money flowing. Gotta keep the money flowing. Mark Hayes (22:46.458) Right. Right. Mark Hayes (22:52.012) No. No. Brock Ganeles (22:56.087) Things are more viral now and the like and so I think we've you know, we need to get money out of politics, but I think I think the wave can be big enough from the grassroots where it can even overcome having less money. And it really is interesting about all this joy and this love and all these things and just I mean they're there's so much h higher energy than the protests we had with the No Kings. As much as I give G No Kings credit for getting people out there, old people out there. They didn't get young people out there. Mark Hayes (23:10.009) Yeah. Mark Hayes (23:23.012) Yep. Yep. Brock Ganeles (23:25.461) And now it's young people are out there. This is like a young person's summer. They're excited for it. They're out there in the streets. They're interacting with these people from all over the world. They're outside. They're having fun. They've watched other people have fun and they want in on it. And that's why I'm more convinced today than I was yesterday, and certainly than I was going into Tuesday, that there is a significant cultural movement. Movement. going on in America right now. Mark Hayes (23:57.475) Right. Right. all right, buddy. let's get into a couple of these quick hits. I know you got something for me brewing today. What do you got? Brock Ganeles (24:09.611) Okay, let's talk black and white. We we always like to talk a little bit of sports here, right? What's your take on the punishment that Caitlin Clark is taking in the WNBA? Now last night was a two nights ago, or last night was a she had to leave the game with an injured back in the third quarter, and she took a fist to the throat from Alyssa Thomas on a loose ball. Mark Hayes (24:09.892) Yeah. Mark Hayes (24:13.774) Sure. Mark Hayes (24:31.319) Mm-hmm. Brock Ganeles (24:38.091) That was not called during the game, but it turns out looks like now after review they've actually suspended Thomas for a game or so. But Clark Clark has gotten she's taken she's taken a lot of physicality. Where are you? Where do you think the black community is? 'Cause this is as black a white an issue as it gets in sports, the Caitlin Clark phenomenon. Mark Hayes (24:38.223) Mm-hmm. Mark Hayes (24:42.874) Good enough. Yeah, they're gonna bump it up. Yeah. Mark Hayes (24:58.616) Yeah. Brock, it is a microcosm of society, right? Caitlin Clark is allowed to get away with things that African American women have not typically and historically been allowed to get away with you know, throughout the WNBA their WNBA careers. there is no person more discriminated against in our society than the African American female. The African American female takes a beating. left, right, and center, each and every day of her life. And then comes home and tries to you know sustain a relationship with a man who is also running neck and neck with her in that same kind of societal abuse. So my issue is The WNBA didn't start paying out these large, ridiculous salaries and and and becoming household names like you're seeing Caitlin Clark on the state farm commercials and here and there with these endorsements until Caitlin Clark came. Why did it why did it take a straight white woman to all of a sudden unleash the floodgates on the money, on the expansion, on the popularity? Of the WNBA. Brock Ganeles (26:17.957) Should the players embrace it or should they, you know, beat up Caitlin Clark as much as they can? Mark Hayes (26:27.278) I don't agree with them beating her up. They're not embracing it because Caitlin Clark is not embracing them. Caitlin Clark's temper tantrums and the way she plays. Caitlin Clark is good enough to just play and whisper under her breath and talk shit like Larry Bird did. They said Larry Bird was one of the greatest shit talkers in the history of the game, and you never saw him. Brock Ganeles (26:48.717) I was gonna get to Larry Bird on why you think because because before there was Jordan it was Magic and Bird and they were considered to have like quote saved the NBA but accelerated the NBA into what it is today. Like that 'cause they came out of college as rivals, they stepped right into the NBA as rivals. Mark Hayes (26:54.157) Right. Mark Hayes (27:00.889) Sure. Mark Hayes (27:06.009) Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (27:10.593) Larry Bird, of course, was bigger, right? So you couldn't really bully him. But you didn't get the treatment that Caitlin Clark has gotten. Is there a sense that she's gotten too much notoriety, in essence, for free, not having done enough? Is there a sense that she hasn't spoken out for black women in the league enough? Is it that she complains to the referees so much that, you know, they're sick and tired of her? Mark Hayes (27:14.67) Right. Mark Hayes (27:26.358) Absolutely. Mark Hayes (27:32.739) Absolutely. Absolutely. Brock Ganeles (27:38.699) Like, is it a combination of all three of those things? Mark Hayes (27:41.471) Absolutely. It's A, B, C, and D. I mean, you didn't you didn't see that with with Bird and Magic. You saw a healthy competition that we ate up and we finally said, Wow, take a look at this. Going back to the Indiana State, Michigan State National Championship with Magic as a freshman. Brock Ganeles (27:45.825) Okay. Mark Hayes (28:03.791) Going up against, you know, Bird himself. These guys were legendary before they were legendary. And then they came into the pro game. They assimilated, right? Into the they didn't come into the pro game and say, hey, you guys get out of our way. We we're we're Bird Magic. We're the new shit in town. That's what Caitlin Clark is doing. Caitlin Clark is like. Brock Ganeles (28:26.902) Okay. Did black did did black people dislike Larry Bird when he came into the league? Mark Hayes (28:32.63) No! No! Black people embraced Larry Burr. That's just like the Celtics players embraced him. Just like remember, the Celtics had a black coach back then, Casey Jones. Right? They had Dennis Johnson, they had Robert Parrish, right? They had a bunch of African American players who who they played together. Brock Ganeles (28:47.416) Yeah. Mark Hayes (29:01.016) And you don't see a lot of ticket because you don't I I mean here and there you'll see Caitlin Clark's teammates run into her defense, but not like, you know, those old you know, piston scraps with the with the Celtics and those old Lakers scraps. Brock Ganeles (29:16.684) Well, yeah, I'm gonna it's interesting because back then Byrd was really the only w pretty much the only white star in the league. And the WNBA actually has a good number of very, very good white players. So like they have that like that base of really good white players. Like as a league, it's actually kind of really well balanced. And then now they're getting more international players. So it's actually becoming a very melting pot league. Mark Hayes (29:27.418) Plethera. Yes. Brock Ganeles (29:45.165) Which should work. So I'm really just hoping that they don't fuck it up. Meaning not the black women or the white women, the league itself. Like and they're on a popularity rise. And who knows, maybe all this shit is a part of the popularity and people just love the the fuckery of it all and of the compet as long as the competition stays healthy. They have a good mix of players. Mark Hayes (29:51.48) Right. Right. Mark Hayes (30:00.973) Right. Mark Hayes (30:04.419) Right. Brock, remember, remember, we've seen this this you know movie before, right? Ri think back to the mid 80s, right? And the masterful marketing of the product of the NBA. They stopped all the fights and all the craziness and then they got down to basketball. Right, people started watching again. It all of a sudden it became a product they can sell. Next thing you know, you had a mobrashot and and willow bay, right? With inside stuff. And now we're doing features on the players. We're You know, the players are now becoming household names because we can sell their faces. And now we got Clyde Drexler out on the West Coast too too, along with Magic. And we got the international flavor with Hakeem the Dream. And then, by the way, the bad boy that everyone loves to hate. We got Bill Lame Beer. We got Danny Ainge. You know, we got these guys, you know, who are are just amazing shit stirrers but can also play. Right, and their teams are winning championships. Now, think about the difference. Caitlin Clark's team didn't win a championship. It was an all-white team from Iowa. Right? The other white stars that you're talking about came from South Carolina, Yukon, Tennessee, right? All these teams with diversity. Why did America all of a sudden come pulling for a team that was a long shot at best? To win a national championship. She couldn't beat Angel Reese and her crew from LSU. Couldn't beat the South Carolina crew. Couldn't get it done. Couldn't get that team over the hump. Yet she is still the face of the WNBA, whether you like it or not. Whether I like it or not, and whether the women who have paid their dues in the WNBA like it or not. That's the issue. Brock Ganeles (32:08.468) Okay. We're gonna stay tuned on it. You know I'm a big fan of the league. I don't want them to botch it. What what do got for me? What do you got for me? Mark Hayes (32:08.918) All right. We're black and white here. We're black. I know. I love the league. I got the Haitian soccer team scoring their first goal since nineteen seventy-four. How about that? The Haitian soccer team scored their first goal in World Cup play since nineteen seventy four. Look, let me tell you something. The Haitians have Brock Ganeles (32:24.354) The nation soccer team scored. Mark Hayes (32:38.67) The Haitians have taken over Atlanta and they're not eating the dogs. My dog is still upstairs. They I saw some cats out in the neighborhood today. They're they're safe. They're marking themselves safe. Brock Ganeles (32:51.916) Well our our s our s our Supreme Court doesn't want him here. Our Supreme Court literally told us s told us today that Donald Trump's argument for wanting to basically deport any Haitian who's here, even if even if they're under a s asylum and the like does not have racial overtones. That that's not the reason. But he could he can Mark Hayes (32:58.286) Well, and that's the problem. Mark Hayes (33:19.95) Bullshit. Brock Ganeles (33:21.228) We can court South Africans and opine on why we're not getting more immigration coming from Sweden and Norway. He can accuse them of eating cats and dogs. He can call it a shithole country, but his comments have do not have a racial basis and our Supreme Court is basically ousting the Haitians from our country. Mark Hayes (33:34.947) Right. Mark Hayes (33:44.729) Yeah. Ridiculous. It's ridiculous. You should you should see some of the videos of the Haitians in Atlanta today, enjoying every minute of World Cup action. Right? And yet they're not seen as human beings. They're seen as others. And that's the problem with this country. Until we get over our other problem. We're never, we're never gonna be able to get the unity that you and I keep talking about in terms of that multicultural, multi-ethnic, you know, multiracial you know, society that comes together, sees each other as human beings, and you know, wants to understand each other as human beings. Brock Ganeles (34:39.298) World Cup's helping. That's happening at the street level. But still up in still up in the in the the halls of power. It's still right, old white guys world and they're still dictating terms that aren't really connect in connection with where the people are. But it's gonna take us some time and a lot of arguing and fighting. Mark Hayes (34:41.206) It's helping. You damn right. Mark Hayes (34:48.995) Yep. Brock Ganeles (35:09.378) to in essence push those geriatrics racists out of their seats. Mark Hayes (35:15.896) Yep. Yep. And that's the issue. But we're gonna keep fighting. We're gonna keep enjoying FIFA. We're gonna keep loving the joy that they bring. And and we're gonna keep urging the party to move in the same direction that it's going. Because we're go Brock Ganeles (35:31.756) I can't say I enjoy FIFA. I can't say I enjoy FIFA, that's a corrupt organization that gave Trump a fucking like a fake prize, peace prize out of a Cracker Jack box. We're gonna enjoy the the World Cup and and the the teams and the people. FIFA's another one of those halls of power that's corrupt, but somehow they got their seat they got their cushy seats as well. Mark Hayes (35:35.17) Not PIFA. Not PIFA. Mark Hayes (35:41.036) I'm talking about the teams. A World Cup and its fans. Yep. World Cups Mark Hayes (35:50.978) You got me. Mark Hayes (35:55.768) Making a shit ton of money. You know how much money this thing has brought to these American cities? At at at a time when we really needed it? You know what I'm saying? Hopefully hopefully th a lot of those vendors who were, you know, shooed away from the nick game when Dumb Donald showed up have made their money back for that night they lost. And and and and more. Brock Ganeles (36:15.586) Make it black. Brock Ganeles (36:19.21) I I bet they have. I mean, I think it was the Germans took over Times Square today. Mark Hayes (36:21.25) I'm sure they have. Yeah, that was awesome. It's a beautiful sight. You gotta love it. All right, Broham. Great place to wrap up. Let's Yeah, let's launch again tomorrow. Revolution. And it shall be televised with a soccer ball. Brock Ganeles (36:31.636) All right, Mark. Always a pleasure. Mark Hayes (00:05.634) Alright, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another exciting edition, Two Men in Black and White.
