  Speaker 1: You to join along with me in prayer. Do you

  Speaker 1: know that praise will calm the hand of the enemy?

  Speaker 2: It'll still his hand.

  Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, sometimes we just need to stop.

  Speaker 2: We ask God for a lot.

  Speaker 1: Of things, and we just need to tell him thank you.

  Speaker 1: Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: before you today with hearts overflowing with gratitude. Lord, before
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: we ask you for another blessing.
• 0:26
  Speaker 2: Before we bring you another request, before.

  Speaker 1: We tell you what we need, we simply want to

  Speaker 1: say thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for being

  Speaker 1: faithful when we were not even faithful to ourselves.

  Speaker 2: Thank you for loving.

  Speaker 1: Us when we were difficult to love, for forgiving us
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: when we fell short and extend and mercy when we
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: deserve correction thank you for never giving up on us

  Speaker 1: even when we wanted to give up on ourselves lord
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: you've been faithful in ways we can remember and in
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: ways that we may never fully understand oh you were
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: faithful when we woke up this morning and our hearts
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: were still beating you were faithful when danger was near

  Speaker 1: but somehow we made it home safely you were faithful
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: when we didn't have enough money to cover every bill
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: yet somehow You helped us make it through.
• 1:07
  Speaker 2: You were faithful when the doctor gave.
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: Us a report that frightened us and when our hearts
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: were broken and when we had to keep moving even
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: though we were hurting inside. You were faithful when the
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: relationship ended, when the job disappeared, when the opportunity fell through,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: and when the doors we wanted you to open remained closed.

  Speaker 1: Looking back now, we can see that some of the
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: things we cried over were things you were protecting us
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: from and redirecting us from. and preparing us for something
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: so much greater. Oh, Father, thank you for the prayers
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: you answered with yes, the prayers you answered with wait,
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: and even the times, God, you answered with no, because
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: you saw what we couldn't see. Thank you for being
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: faithful to our children. Thank you for being faithful to
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: our grandchildren. Thank you for keeping our families through difficult seasons,
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: sustaining us through grief, comforting us through loss, and giving
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: us strength when we didn't know how we were going
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: to make it through another day. God, your word declares
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: in Lamentations 3. 22 through 23, that your mercy never
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: comes to an end and that we are given new
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: mercies every day.
• 2:07
  Speaker 2: So great is your faithfulness, God.

  Speaker 1: And Lord, we can testify that you have never stopped
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: being God.
• 2:13
  Speaker 2: When people walked away, you remained.
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: When circumstances changed, you remained. When our feelings failed us,
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: your promises remained. And when we can trace your hand, God,
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: we can still trust your heart. Father, forgive us for
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: the times we became so focused on what we were
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: waiting for that we forgot to thank you for what
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: you'd already done. Forgive us for counting our problems more
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: than we counted our blessings. Oh, today we remember, God.
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: We remember the doors you opened, the battles you brought us.
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: Through, the tears you helped us wipe.
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: Away, the strength you gave us, and the grace that
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: carried us when our strength was gone. Lord, oh, you
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: have been better to us than we've been to ourselves.

  Speaker 1: So today we will not allow one unanswered prayer to
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: make us forget a lifetime of answered prayers. We will
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: not allow one difficult season to erase the evidence.
• 2:56
  Speaker 2: Of your goodness. Oh, God, you've been faithful. You were
• 2:59
  Speaker 2: faithful on yesterday. You'll be faithful today.

  Speaker 1: And, God, we trust you to be faithful tomorrow. Thank you, Lord,
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: for keeping us. Thank you, Lord, for carrying us. Thank you, Lord,

  Speaker 1: even when you correct us. Thank you for providing for us.

  Speaker 1: Thank you for protecting us. And thank you for loving
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: us through it all. Oh, great is your faithfulness, Lord,
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: from generation to generation.
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: You are great.

  Speaker 1: God, and we give you all the glory, all the honor,
• 3:21
