- 0:11It's the tip of despair in the epic battle to defend the United States of America.
- 0:19The national security hour exposes the wolves in chief's clothing and the nefarious plots to undermine and destroy U.S.
- 0:27national security.
- 0:31Welcome back, America.
- 0:32This is your host of the National Security Hour for Thursday, 14 May 2026.
- 0:39This is Fred Galvin, and now it's time to get it on.
- 0:45So I wanted to talk today about a subject that I'm I'm asking everybody to visualize something that does not currently exist because this is important for us to understand there's many in America that are being impacted.
- 1:15And by that we've seen just this recent attempt at a press conference that uh was in Washington, D.C., where somebody else attempted to assassinate the president of the United States.
- 1:29That's the third that the mainstream media has reported.
- 1:35There have, if you ever ask anyone that worked for the social uh the Secret Service, Social Security, uh, they will tell you that there's constant uh attempts on the president with almost every presidency.
- 1:48But that being said, this is an exceptionally high number, very visible, and it's being prompted by a lot of this hate speech that is very prevalent in the American mainstream media with members of Congress and on social media, where as we've talked on many previous shows, there's a lot of people that are not actually in a sane mind, and that inspires these individuals to conduct these types of attempts and atrocities because they're they want to be a hero.
- 2:31Uh, this being echoed by many senior leaders in the uh Democrat National Party that you know, this you know, this man is we we have to stop.
- 2:43That's what they keep saying.
- 2:44This is a fascist, this is a dictator, no kings.
- 2:47Um that being said, the topic that I want to focus on today is a what if.
- 2:55And this is let's not talk about this current administration of the presidency, but let's talk about what if Iran had a nuclear capability.
- 3:06Okay, so uh those of you who are continuous listeners, I want uh to make another request, and that is if you would send this to those who need to hear something, you know, because there's many out there, Hakeem Jeffries, many others that say, what if or no?
- 3:27They say this is an unnecessary war.
- 3:31So let's do what we do in the military and at the top levels, like they do at the combatant commanders, those are the four-star uh commanding admirals or the commanders, either admirals or generals that are in charge of a certain region, and that's what they do down in Tampa at the Central Command, is they look at every single angle, and this is something all the way back to the Obama administration when he had the commander of the U.S.
- 4:03Central Command, which that time was a four-star Marine Corps general named Jim Mattis.
- 4:09Uh, he was seeing this back and giving warnings in 2012 and 2013 of this buildup and of their determination to have a nuclear weapon and the continuous rhetoric of using it.
- 4:25So a little bit of background on myself.
- 4:29I've been deployed as a Marine on many locations, and I've I have seen and heard intelligence officers, many rank, many units, many services give these near hysterical estimations of the enemy situation.
- 4:48A lot of it's based on facts and solid facts, uh, that this is imminent.
- 4:55And many of you have seen some of these people on the Sean Ryan show.
- 4:59I'm not calling him out.
- 5:00I'm just saying he's had people on his show that have said that there's a checkmate situation, that there's some type of a foreign adversary that has a nuclear submarine off of our coast and they can launch drones that drops a bomb could drop a bomb on uh White House and anywhere in the United States, it's game over.
- 5:19This this exists, and same kind of people that uh constantly fascinate you with talks of UFOs and aliens and all kinds of tinfoil hat theories.
- 5:30But uh, but what I'm talking about is a little bit different.
- 5:34I'm talking about intelligence officers who are giving reports based on data of attacks, whether this be in the Horn of Africa, whether it be in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Southern Philippines, places where U.S.
- 5:48military are or have been engaged.
- 5:52And these are these are real estimates.
- 5:54Um what I'm going to talk to you about is something that is not far off.
- 6:02And I'm not saying all this to be an alarmist and to scare anyone of what you know we we need to do right now.
- 6:12But I want to base it in facts on many of these national security hour episodes that we have talked about in the past, where I have repeatedly mentioned time and time again over 47 years where the national leadership in Iran have continuously not just built up weapons, but they have excuse me, they've used rhetoric that they are determined to get a nuclear weapon, and they are determined to use that.
- 6:42And I've been on other omnichannel media interviews where I've seen um guests I've read in the chats.
- 6:53I've I've heard people threaten that they hope that Iran has a nuclear weapon that will destroy America and myself.
- 7:00Destroy America and myself.
- 7:02Um, just for I mean, this was prior to any type of incursion here in February of 2026.
- 7:02Um just for I mean, this was prior to any type of incursion here in February of 2026.
- 7:11Uh, but that is I don't believe just one lone ranger out there, or somebody that's a little off balance.
- 7:11Uh, but that is I don't believe just one lone ranger out there, or somebody that's a little off balance.
- 7:19That's that is an ideology that is prevalent in the leaders that are currently running Iran.
- 7:19That's that is an ideology that is prevalent in the leaders that are currently running Iran, and we need to be aware of that.
- 7:31So this is uh what I'm going to ask for you to visualize is the what if, because this is this is exactly what Iran wants.
- 7:43This is what will happen if Hakeem Jeffries continued to do, and we have other members of the U.S.
- 7:54Congress that say this is unnecessary.
- 7:57There's people on both sides that say this is unnecessary.
- 8:00So again, I want you to reflect back.
- 8:04I'm not going to do a deep dive into every single event that has happened from students that took over the American embassy in Tehran when I was a young man in 1979 and held those hostages as 52 hostages for 444 days.
- 8:22This is this is something beyond that.
- 8:24It's something beyond the marine barracks, it's something beyond the American embassy in in Beirut in 1983.
- 8:31Um but they have used proxies, they've done it themselves.
- 8:37They have been consistent.
- 8:39And if you are someone who's studied counterterrorism and the doctrines and ideology of our adversaries who preach this ideology of uh jihad, we need to be very, very aware that this is what they seek.
- 9:00A nuclear armed Iran.
- 9:02It's not simply another country with a bomb.
- 9:05It's not using an example.
- 9:07Well, North Korea has one, and we didn't do anything.
- 9:12Again, let me just wrap this up real tightly with a bow in one sentence.
- 9:19What I'm trying to get across is this is being complicit in allowing the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism to operate under a nuclear shield, period.
- 9:34Okay.
- 9:36So this is uh this is something that just like uh other military leaders, they understand they have to have a broad program that's not unilateral.
- 9:50It's doesn't, you know, we talk about the triad, nuclear triad.
- 9:54And but in Iran, you know, they are actively engaged in warfare with the United States, and we saw this escalate right after 7 October 2021, where proxy Hamas uh aggressively attacked and did such heinous acts on Israel.
- 10:18And then you had all the conspiracy theorists saying this was actually something that Netanyahu and the Israelis and Mossad, they all planned and they had a hand in this people like that are really sick people, but I want to say after that 7 October attack on Israel, the attacks by Iranian backed militias on U.S.
- 10:45forces in Iraq and in Syria, as well as the Houthis firing missiles to include hypersonic missiles at our U.S.
- 10:56Navy ships at sea in the Northern Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Mon, Gulf of Aden, as well as other proxies.
- 11:03I'm talking Hamas and Hezbollah attacking Americans abroad, and that continued to increase to the point where it wasn't even covered in our mainstream media during the last administration.
- 11:19This was something that the Military Times had the guts in February 2022 after a few months of Freedom of Information Act requests, something that used to be available on this iCasualty.org to see in which theater Iran and Afghanistan, how many wounded and killed American service members there were, but this started going underground.
- 11:39And we have seen that totally change once again in the Trump administration, where it's widely known and very transparent as far as how many Americans have been killed and wounded.
- 11:53That shouldn't be top secret or secret information at all.
- 11:56Um, but it was politicized.
- 11:58Our casualty reports were politicized in the last administration, where you but I bring this up because in less than six months after the October 7 attacks in 2021, when that Military Times report came out, there was nearly nearly 200 attacks on American forces in the Middle East.
- 12:21Um I would say again, not to rehash what we've talked about on previous episodes, that these numbers have been relatively low.
- 12:31But the point is Iran has been very consistent.
- 12:36We need to listen to what they say, and watch what they do.
- 12:40They have built up so many drones, so many missiles, and they've invested in those programs, and they're investing, and they will, if they are not stopped, just like other components they're getting from China weapon components that we're seeing, and one of the ships was stopped not leaving the Gulf, Iranian ship, it was stopped coming into the Gulf because it was known to have uh weapons parts or material for weapons, and that's what we're we're uh we've always talked about.
- 13:15Iran has proxies, China has proxies, and these people are working together.
- 13:19Uh, President Bush 43 talked about it being the axis of evil.
- 13:23We need to be aware of this, and it's this proxy warfare, this missile development, this maritime coercion, this internal repression in their own country.
- 13:35And if we don't see that, you know, my God, what was Bonhoffer, Dietrich Bonhoeffer talking about, you know, less than a century ago when he saw this going on and he was sounding the alarm.
- 13:48That's what we're doing now.
- 13:50Is like if Iran were to have a nuclear weapon, we're gonna talk deep on this on all three segments of today's episode about what that would lead to as far as the threats in the Gulf region.
- 14:00Episode about what that would lead to as far as the threats in the Gulf region.
- 14:05We've already seen missiles, and there's some tinfoil hat people saying it could have been Israel that launched a missile, it hit Cyprus, and but now let's actually let's be serious and let's assess.
- 14:05We've already seen missiles, and there's some tenfoil hat people saying it could have been Israel that launched a missile, it hit Cyprus, and but and now let's actually let's be serious and let's assess, but the reason I bring that up is there are threats against European facilities, and it's
- 14:19But the reason I bring that up is there are threats against European facilities and installations.
- 14:31And that Royal Air Force facility is a very large facility.
- 14:36Um you would expect that they have some more skin in the game.
- 14:41But as Winston Churchill talked about, and as other leaders echoed as well, when there's tyrants and when there's adversaries like this, we cannot back down.
- 14:54We have to we will take to the streets is Winston Churchill said, and we must fight and defend uh the freedoms which we have, or they will be gone.
- 15:04So again, we have a question to ask, and that is not only whether Iran would use this nuclear weapon, but the question is is what Iran would do because it had one.
- 15:20And that's that's something that's the big game changer.
- 15:23And I'm asking you to use your logic to be the umpire and call the balls and strikes as we have this visual discussion of a nuclear Iran that would change the behavior of every single nation, not just in the Gulf, not just Israel and Europe, NATO, but China and anyone that utilizes oil, that global uh energy from the Persian Gulf.
- 15:52And uh I want to talk about that a little bit because some of these key Asian South Asian, Northeast Asian, um Southeast Asian countries that we have so much of our manufacturing coming from.
- 16:06I will get into percentages in the next episode, next segment.
- 16:10I'll sorry, of exactly how much they depend on Iranian oil, and it's significant, and it's impacting much of their products.
- 16:20But if they had, and that's just with Iranian oil, the shortages of Iranian oil.
- 16:25Now let's see if we're had a nuclear armed Iran that was threatening all Gulf state oil, talking about all the oil that could come by ship that could find other securist routes out by land.
- 16:43Some of these terrestrial, you know, they're they're working ways to get paid.
- 16:47These uh the Emirates and the Saudis say uh nuclear Iran threatened all of that oil.
- 16:56Think about the hyperinflation, about all these people that are dependent, not just on Iranian oil, but Gulf state oil.
- 17:04Now there's oil prices go sky high, and what that's going to affect on the global manufacturing and the cost of everything, not just a few countries that are dependent on energy markets inside the Gulf.
- 17:21But don't go away.
- 17:22We have some uh more discussion right after this break, so we'll be right back.
- 17:27Filling off since COVID?
- 17:28Try the wellness company spike detox trio packed with natok kinase, bromaline, and turmeric to help boost your immune system and fight off harmful spike proteins.
- 17:37Bounce back with energy and clarity.
- 17:38Go to TWC.health forward slash out loud and use promo code out loud for 20% off your first order.
- 17:45You wouldn't go a day without brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
- 17:48What about washing your nose?
- 17:50I mean, your nose does filter the air you breathe, air loaded with bacteria, viruses, and irritants, make nasal hygiene part of your routine with clear.
- 17:59No messy bottles to fill, no drowning sensation.
- 18:02Clear is a natural drug-free saline with the added benefit of xylitol, which blocks bacterial and viral adhesion available in stores and online at clear.com.
- 18:12That is XLEAR.com.
- 18:16Well, it's high time Americans refuse to be pawned in the human chest.
- 18:22Under the name of diversity, politicians divide the people in their quest for power.
- 18:30Is as American as Apple Bond.
- 18:36Now is our time, my fellow Americans.
- 18:40America outlawed.
- 18:42Liberty and justice for all.
- 18:50Welcome back, America.
- 18:51This is your host, retired major Fred Galvin.
- 18:56And we have a question to focus on, and that is what if Iran obtained or built a nuclear weapon tomorrow.
- 19:04Let's visualize this.
- 19:05Say they were able to get their hands on some other whether Chinese, weather Russian, some type of nuclear weapon, where they built it.
- 19:19And I'm not talking about the distant future.
- 19:21I'm talking about tomorrow.
- 19:23Let's visualize that.
- 19:24So have that in your head as I'm trying to unfold this.
- 19:27And that's the key concept, because let's talk about what some people have no fear of due to there is not a proximity at this time or a proximity of the threat.
- 19:42It's not inside our threat ring.
- 19:44It seems so distant.
- 19:46That's why people like Hakim Jeffries and many others are saying this is an unnecessary war, because they're trying to convince you that let's just continue to punt and kick the can or the football down the field and delay it until some other time and allow somebody to ratchet up the rhetoric and you see what's going on in all these negotiations, which I will give Iran, they are very good at playing this game in negotiations, which are happening for so long.
- 20:25It's just trying to get them time to and it emboldens their leaders that hey, nobody's doing anything.
- 20:31So in their mind, that's a success.
- 20:33And every single time they get a delay of game, they realize, okay, now we will get more weapons parts.
- 20:40We will continue to build our drones or missiles and our nuclear programs, and they have been doing this successfully, and they know that they will continue to do it because many people in the world's most powerful country like the United States are on their side.
- 20:56They're saying this war is unnecessary.
- 20:58Let's just let it let it go.
- 21:00It goes let's this is uh this is causing a problem at home with inflation.
- 21:00Let's this is uh this is causing a problem at home with inflation.
- 21:06Um we're really not seeing that in the economic data, not to go diverge on that.
- 21:06Um we're really not seeing that in the economic data, not to go diverge on that, but you look at the uh personal consumption index uh the the PCE, you look at uh the producer price index and consumer price index, you don't see this rapid uh massive percentage gains, but it is an increase.
- 21:11But you look at the uh personal consumption index uh the the PCE, you look at uh the producer price index and consumer price index, you don't see this rapid uh massive percentage gains, but
- 21:31Uh, but I will say this you see the problem isn't that this recently developed.
- 21:39The problem has been these leaders that have ignored and just like Joe Kent has said, and I don't I can't figure out what side he's on, you know.
- 21:50He's he's changed parties of every available party except for the Green Party, but he's been in the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, independent party.
- 21:58But you know, here's the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center saying that it wasn't an imminent threat.
- 22:04Well, he's previously said comments contrary to that, but again, I don't as a former special operator, I don't want somebody who is full of malice and vigor and anger.
- 22:21I don't want them to go out to the store and get a gun, which anybody can do here in the United States as long as you're not a phone.
- 22:28I don't want them to get a bunch of ammunition, I don't want them to go to the range and get all this training, and I don't want them to sit around and get liquored up and uh get mad at me or anyone that I love to where it's imminent that that person who's driven by hate and fueled by rage, and I'm trying to draw this comparison between Iranian leaders, the past and present, and somebody that's irrational that has a weapon that's next door that now all of a sudden he's busted in your front door and put that gun to your head.
- 23:01We don't need it to get to that level.
- 23:04I'm sure everybody that's listening to this agrees, and that's where I'm asking you to visualize the words that I'm talking about is we want some standoff.
- 23:14That's why Lockheed and General Dynamics and Raytheon, they make all these weapons to give us the advantage, those military experts that are launching weapons from submarines from destroyers and cruisers from the rails of aircraft that are flying um either stealth or without stealth.
- 23:39Uh, we want to have standoff for survivability.
- 23:42And when you hear somebody that sounds so passionate, and oh my goodness, Joe Kent was a ranger, he was in special forces, he was my god, he was in the CIA.
- 23:54I'm not disputing any of that, but he is weaponized his words to make you think that he's right, he's got a point.
- 24:02This is unnecessary, and I I kind of agree with that.
- 24:05I don't, and you have kids all across these campuses, they've been stirred up that you know, I don't want a draft.
- 24:11Well, the best way to avoid a draft is to eliminate, not to manage a threat, not to kick it down the road.
- 24:20But if you right now have kids between 18 and years old and 40 years old, especially able-bodied American men that had to sign up for the draft, well, you may want this to happen to where that is done through a combination of what is currently in progress, and that is high stakes negotiation with the ratcheted, you know, we're putting the pressure cooker on Iran militarily, as well as at the negotiation table, and every single thing makes rational sense to and in Europe.
- 24:57I hope you're listening up because you have more skin in the game than the United States of America.
- 25:04America just doesn't want this to be on our doorsteps, which it could be.
- 25:08Anybody could with what has gone on, and uh they could bring a dirty bomb into the United States, and that would be horrific.
- 25:16And we don't want that type of threat anywhere in the world, uh, but that is what is going to continue to be developed until all of this leadership has been replaced.
- 25:26You cannot have these people that have that ideology, um working on the technology to build nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver those anywhere in the world, or to threaten a vital commodity uh such as Gulf State Oil.
- 25:47That is going to be something that literally economically threatens lives in our largest region.
- 25:54It's the Indo-Pacific region.
- 25:57Uh more lives there depend on a free trade system where we can where we can trade without the threat of oil and hyperinflation.
- 26:09So this is what we need is negotiations without surrender, and we need the Iranians to surrender their nuclear program.
- 26:19So, and that has been the that's the core is these Iranian diplomats are repeatedly stalling over this issue at the negotiation table.
- 26:32They're they're not accepting full nuclear transparency.
- 26:37Uh they don't want inspection teams by uh international uh inspectors, and every single IAEA team that's gone over there, they've had the door slammed.
- 26:51There's uh you know, just the unresolved verification issues of the Iranian nuclear program, and that is that is unacceptable.
- 27:01So, and that's that's something that it's really, I believe, is gonna take a full replacement of the leadership in Iran, and that's where Europe really needs to get and uh you know, it'd be great if everybody would to include our Indo-Pacific partners um from India and uh China and Japan.
- 27:27This this is not good for the world.
- 27:29Um they they do understand it's putting pressure on the United States right now, and it's a political football.
- 27:37Uh, but Iran they're continuing to you know resist this access um into their nuclear program, and that's that is unacceptable.
- 27:50That it it needs to be something that is uh like the offer on the table right up until the 27th of February 2026 was that nuclear energy for peaceful civilian purposes would be provided for free forever.
- 28:00Was that nuclear energy for peaceful civilian purposes would be provided for free forever.
- 28:09Uh, that is you Al Capone couldn't even broker such a good deal as that.
- 28:09That is you Al Capone couldn't even broker such a good deal as that.
- 28:14So, and that is what we need.
- 28:14So, and that is what we need.
- 28:17So, the uh these negotiations uh led by the Department of State, they need to continue and they need to continue to uh put pressure.
- 28:17So the uh these negotiations uh led by the Department of State, they need to continue and they need to continue to put pressure.
- 28:30And we need to maintain the military pressure.
- 28:33Uh I know there's been a lot of ceasefires, and I'm not the one inside the beltway understanding the strategy of you know what we're actually giving up, saying, okay, we cease fire so that ends the 60 day process because there's just so many people in Congress fighting back against the president because they're saying, you know, he didn't, you know, consult and have the uh consent of Congress.
- 28:56Uh, so he can't really do this.
- 28:58And you look at all these other past conflicts, not all of them, but uh many in the recent, you know, they've they've done so many uh military actions without the consent of Congress.
- 29:09Um, and we've talked about that in the past, we're not going to get into it right now.
- 29:13But these officials of the United States that are in there when they demand removal of this enriched uranium and Iran has resisted this, then there's no other way.
- 29:28If they continue to resist, we need to continue to eliminate their leadership in their ability to plan and coordinate uh future operations.
- 29:40So that's that's what's going on right now is Iran's continuing to delay, deny, divide, and demand concessions that are illogical, saying that you know we need to rebuild Iran, uh, that they will they should have access and uh to continue to develop develop uh missile and um missile and drone programs, and they don't want to have these inspectors.
- 30:08Well, that that's more of the same.
- 30:10So that's why, and you know, I have recently not, which I normally do.
- 30:16I I normally try to get a good pulse on omnichannel media from both sides, but I haven't really been uh focused on observing the media right now.
- 30:27So I don't really know if you know, one side on the let's just call it the progressive side is getting this messaging that um hey, we need to go along with these inspections, but uh it just seemed in not too long ago that they wanted to have the war end, and uh they they seem that this is just uh like a dictator or a king.
- 30:56It's uh what it really is is if Iran gets the bomb, the immediate Gulf state effects are that all those Gulf states would face the coercion because this nuclear shield that Iran would have.
- 31:13So that would include all these big oil producers of Saudi Arabia, Emratis, Bahrainis, Qatares, the Kuwaitis, Omanis, every single one of those would uh would be threatened by Iran.
- 31:30Um you look at just their conventional weapons that they're having, you know, success and a lot of these uh fast boats, a lot of the uh drones, mines, everything that they're using right now.
- 31:43But um now, if you had an added another layer to that, that Iran could fire a nuclear weapon, think of that if that was going on right now.
- 31:53Think of the oil rates, you know, over 100 a barrel, and what it would be if Iran could shut everything down, could threaten every country that I just mentioned with a nuclear weapon, doesn't need to be intercontinental, doesn't need to affect, doesn't need to destroy the United States immediately.
- 32:16But if if it were able to range just right across the Shah al-Arab into Kuwait, just think of that, and then everybody else would, I mean, if they're bowing down now and they're not taking action now, think of the stranglehold that would be on there if they used a nuclear weapon with missiles and proxy attacks.
- 32:39Um their proxies all across the Gulf states that we've been seeing again and again attack American forces.
- 32:48Think what that could do if they aimed everything, as they have in the past to many of these other Gulf state and Middle Eastern countries to include Israel, uh, they would, and we're gonna get into Israel in just a second because I don't think Israel would ever let this happen.
- 33:04And and that is showing, I'll just talk on this for just a second.
- 33:09That is showing the tremendous restraint on Israel for not using nuclear weapons right now.
- 33:15But Iran, I guarantee you, the Straits of Hormuz, the coercion and control, uh, they would they would own, you know, think of not just 20% of the oil coming in there, but you couldn't move oil through terrestrial borders if they were really ratcheted up their intimidation of these Gulf monarchies.
- 33:39So anyway, um I believe when to talk about the visualization and the what if uh nuclear Iran existed tomorrow, that the Gulf states would likely take action in wanting more US defense guarantees, not just what we have going on.
- 34:02They would they would heavily rely and they would they would probably increase their building of their own missile defense.
- 34:09Um but as you've seen, even in Israel, you can have the strongest shield in the world, and some of those javelins, arrows, darts, just like from the medieval ages, some of those are going to get through.
- 34:24And if you continue to proliferate with nuclear weapons, and you had those mixed in with conventional weapons, that kind of terror would bring everybody to their knees.
- 34:39So, but these Gulf states, I also think they would pursue their own nuclear hedging.
- 34:45And this is absolutely what we in America, and I don't think anybody in the free world would want all of the Gulf states, which have the financing, but we don't need these Gulf states and nations to be seeking nuclear development and to have everybody in the Gulf, every single one of these nations to be nuclear armed because just think about a future Gulf state leader who may decide to utilize a nuclear weapon just because they can that is a threat that we do not want to have what you see between India and Pakistan all the time is we want to de-escalate the
- 35:00Nuclear development and to have everybody in the Gulf, every single one of these nations to be nuclear armed, because just think about a future Gulf state leader who may decide to utilize a nuclear weapon just because they can that is a threat that we do not want to have what you see between India and Pakistan all the time is we want to de escalate.
- 35:30Um I know when you have just like they say in the old West of the United States, an armed society is a peaceful society, and people respect each other, but when people have this ideology that they are irrational, that's a whole different ball game.
- 35:49That you can't you have to recalculate and recalibrate your gauges, it doesn't work when somebody you know has that mindset of death to America, death to Israel.
- 36:00Um it's a different picture.
- 36:04So this is something if Gulf states would arm, which is definitely not what we want.
- 36:13That could begin a Middle East nuclear cascade.
- 36:16So that is not what we want.
- 36:18We need leaders right now to stand up, take aggressive action and make these decisions and to pursue what's currently going on, aggressive negotiation with aggressive precision targeting of key leaders.
- 36:36And I do believe that probably needs to include energy infrastructure to shut down Iran, and it's still not going to be something that's a quick win.
- 36:46But don't go away, we're going to go right to a break, and we'll come back right after these messages.

- 37:43Welcome back, America.
- 37:44This is your host, Fred Galvin, National Security Hour.
- 37:47Time for our two-minute power play.
- 37:50We're going to get the ball down the field.
- 37:51I need to talk about some key messages that I want to make sure we address all this, but let's talk about the shortest views.
- 37:59And in the military, we have different uh artillery rounds, we have different types of grenades, some have short fuses, and I would say the shortest views in the big picture, and I'm talking conceptually here is Israel.
- 38:13Israel, they if Iran were armed with a nuclear weapon tomorrow, to them that is an existential threat.
- 38:21It's not a diplomatic inconvenience that threatens the lives of every man, woman, and child in Israel.
- 38:29They know that, and I believe they would take immediate action.
- 38:33So these and you see it again, the Iranian leaders have continuously the one thing they have never changed is they continue to have the rhetoric of this eliminationist towards Israel.
- 38:48And if Tyran, if Tehran were to be armed, and not just using Hezbollah and Hamas like they have in the past, but if they had nuclear weapons, they would definitely compress Israel's decision timeline.
- 39:02I think Israel would strike immediately.
- 39:05And that's why we don't want to have if Israel strike, you could have this Gulf state nuclear buildup, which is not what we want, and that's why we need to de-escalate.
- 39:15We don't want to use nuclear weapons.
- 39:17We don't want Israel to use nuclear weapons.
- 39:19And this is where I said earlier in the show this shows incredible restraint, both on the United States.
- 39:25Look at how many times Hillary Clinton used to say, you know, you couldn't give Donald Trump the nuclear codes, and he hasn't even talked about this.
- 39:33There's been all these anonymous military leaders that have said this.
- 39:38And again, ladies and gentlemen, I need everybody to come back down to planet Earth and to breathe oxygen and to deal with the reality that when retired Marine General Kelly said that Donald Trump at Normandy said that you know these guys are suckers for dying.
- 39:58How come none of that's recorded?
- 40:00How come there's no other witnesses?
- 40:03How come he didn't do what I did?
- 40:05Take a polygraph?
- 40:06How come you don't want to put skin in the game?
- 40:08As a command military commander, you know, if you say that something like that against your chain of command, it's not just slander, but I mean they they know what they're doing.
- 40:20Uh and all these people, just like they've said, they've came out and to include General Kelly again, the former White House chief of staff under the uh President Trump 45th administration.
- 40:30But getting back on the topic of Israel, Israel wouldn't wait to launch a missile, guarantee you.
- 40:38I guarantee you, it would not sit around and allow this enrichment, the weaponization, they would they would strike.
- 40:46And just like we're seeing they're using conventional weapons to deteriorate their conventional forces in Iran, they would if Iran, if we backed off, packed up and went home, and there was a threat of a nuclear weapon tomorrow, Israel would take it out.
- 41:06And we don't want the results of that.
- 41:09We don't want everybody in the globe trying to invest in nuclear missiles and payloads for military threats.
- 41:20Civilian purposes, that's different, and we need that to be regulated.
- 41:23We don't need a regional war.
- 41:26And again, Israel, a nuclear Iran is not a policy problem, it's a survival problem, and they would take it out.
- 41:35So okay, now let's talk about how this ring starts to spread out.
- 41:41Europe, the Eastern Med, that threat radius.
- 41:47When we look at this very large um British Royal Air Force, Ekroti is a major air base that the Brits have there in Cyprus.
- 41:59Um that was hit with a missile.
- 42:00That was hit with a missile.
- 42:02You would think that England would have their eyes and ears wide open at what's going on and realize that this is no longer just a Gulf problem.
- 42:02You would think that England would have their eyes and ears wide open at what's going on and realize that this is no longer just a Gulf problem.
- 42:11It becomes a Mediterranean, it becomes a European and NATO problem.
- 42:11It becomes a Mediterranean, it becomes a European and NATO problem.
- 42:15Um, it becomes a global problem when we talk about the economic shock when it impacts, and I'm talking about if Iran was armed with a nuclear weapon tomorrow.
- 42:15Um, it becomes a global problem when we talk about the economic shock when it impacts, and I'm talking about if Iran was armed with a nuclear weapon tomorrow, think what that would do, not just to oil, but
- 42:27Think what that would do, not just to oil, but to insurance shipping, uh inflation of everything, or hyperinflation of everything.
- 42:36That would ruin all global economies.
- 42:39When they talk about the Straits of Hormuz, well, it wouldn't just be what's going on through the Straits of Hormuz with that 20% of oil.
- 42:47It would be everything that is produced in the Middle East that could come out in lower quantities than is being escorted out in these uh super tankers, but it could be the threat by Iran of anybody shipping oil out through a terrestrial border.
- 43:05That nuclear shield that Iran would have would have emboldened them, and that would put absolute pressure and come to a screeching halt, not just the shipping and the insurance markets, tanker traffic, but all 100% of Gulf energy exports, and that would send our economies uh tumbling.
- 43:31We cannot have that.
- 43:33That oil price spikes, the not just shipping reroutes, but talk about a recession.
- 43:41So what Donald Trump is doing, you know, just have to think of you know, let's not think of him, but think of the opposite side.
- 43:50If we continue to punt and kick this can down the road, it wouldn't be a recession, it would be something, and I was doing a little research earlier today, and our friends over at the New York Times, if we can call them friends, they did some analysis and research.
- 44:06So I'm quoting them.
- 44:09But these following countries where we have so much of our manufacturing for the West come from, these are the ones that are dependent on this Gulf State oil.
- 44:22Japan, 95% of its crew is from the Middle East.
- 44:27Only 70 to 85% passes through the straits.
- 44:30So they're getting Middle East crude in other ways.
- 44:33South Korea, 70% of its crude comes from the Middle East.
- 44:36The Philippines, here's all these emerging countries that we have.
- 44:40Let's just look at where anything in your house is manufactured.
- 44:45Philippines, 95%.
- 44:4695% of its crude is from the Persian Gulf, Vietnam, 88% from the Persian Gulf, Singapore, 70%.
- 44:55So in China, I mean, it's almost half of its uh seaborne crude is from uh the Middle East, or five and a half million barrels per day.
- 45:11India, 40% of its oil.
- 45:13So that could send people to the arms of Russia, another oil rich location, or the arms of America, another oil rich, but that's not really what we want.
- 45:27We're not trying to just, hey, let's pack up and leave so that Iran can continue to develop this because in the end, we've got this oceans of buffer and you know, let's let all these countries that depend on manufacturing now, we'll tariff everything and we'll ratchet up our oil prices and we'll benefit from all this.
- 45:49That's not what we want.
- 45:51We don't want Northeast Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian countries where we receive so much of this manufactured products, we don't need that would lead inflation to such a massive coefficient that we could not even imagine that right now.
- 46:06So think about that when people talk about inflation right now.
- 46:11We have to invest just like you do and putting money aside for college, investing in a home, investing in your retirement through uh a good money manager into equity and debt markets.
- 46:25We have to deal with this situation right now before it gets out of control because a nuclear Iran tomorrow would tax the world without controlling any single foreign capital.
- 46:40It the threat would be global energy flows and the tax that would bring to everyone.
- 46:49Um so we have to stop their nuclear development, their missile development.
- 46:56Uh, we have to freeze that in Iran, and there's really only when money to do that, and that is to eradicate this leadership that has this ideology.
- 47:06It we're not going to sit around and sing kumbaya and have a peace break out in Tehran.
- 47:14That's that is not going to happen, ladies and gentlemen.
- 47:16We have to deal with something that is very difficult.
- 47:20And some people think and they side with Iran and think it's just not fair.
- 47:25Why these are irrational people that believe in a deranged ideology of killing Americans, and they have been very loud and consistent with that, and we need to believe them.
- 47:37Um they will one day, if we don't deal with this now, they're going to build out intercontinental ballistic missiles, and they will have nuclear capabilities.
- 47:53They will buy it, they will build it, they will do both of them, they will have multiple, and they're going to first dominate the region, then Europe, then the world, and threaten the world through economics.
- 48:07That is not just some Intel estimate of a likely probability that's that is what will happen when this vital resource that every single person in the world, I mean, you could you could love to be as green as a green beret, but we cannot sustain the world on solar wind and hydro power.
- 48:31That's that's not a reality.
- 48:32All these people that believe it, you know, John Kerry and all these people that go into Davos, they go in and layer jets, and I haven't seen one of those uh fueled by solar or any other sustainable power.
- 48:45We need oil, and that is just the facts.
- 48:49So uh but a nuclear weapon, it's not the end of Iran's program.
- 48:59It's Iran is going to do this, and it's going to be the beginning of a more dangerous missile program, much more dangerous than any missiles they have right now, which we see are very lethal, and they've been building these things up for years, and you have to understand if Hakeem Jeffries or if any listeners don't want this, it's coming to a theater near you soon.
- 49:01Iran is going to do this, and it's going to be the beginning of a more dangerous missile program.
- 49:09Much more dangerous than any missiles they have right now, which we see are very lethal, and they've been building these things up for years.
- 49:16And you have to understand if Hakeem Jeffries or if any listeners don't want this, it's coming to a theater near you soon.
- 49:26And you have to ask when you.
- 49:26And you have to ask when you know I love, I don't have kids of my own, but when I see kids playing in a park, when I'm traveling and I see parents with their kids, and that always is just an incredible feeling.
- 49:41I feel that those people are very blessed, but that's not something that we want to pass on to our kids that every single future generation is going to be dealing with this type of terror.
- 49:53But that's what is going to be going on when we have the United States and NATO signal this type of weakness and we have disunity, that emboldens Tehran and their leaders.
- 50:06And right now, I'm very concerned with every NATO country, with every member of the U.S.
- 50:16Congress that is sending these mixed signals, and that every day that we do not reach a result to end a nuclear program.
- 50:27What does that do?
- 50:28Well, that emboldens Iran and they move forward, and that cannot happen.
- 50:34And we need to have aggressive, you know, we're not likely to use a nuclear pro nuclear weapon in Iran, but we need to continue to do what I guess I'm going to bring President Trump back into this.
- 50:47What President Trump is seeking, and that is to end this type of radical leadership, and he's doing it by putting having conversations with other international global leaders like uh President Xi Jinping from uh China where he's visiting.
- 51:07And that needs to continue.
- 51:10Uh we need to do whatever is possible.
- 51:14And I will say this for everyone that cannot stand President Donald Trump, he has pulled off the impossible before from not just what happened on a platform that was miraculous in Butler, Pennsylvania almost two years ago, but what happened as far as uh you know being down in the polls and you know, being hunted down through this lawfare and coming up and surviving the way he has, that is miraculous, but that is that same type of you know, you could call it the Phoenix rising, you know.
- 51:54We must as all successful leaders, we must look long range and understand and be able to see the unseen of what is happening.
- 52:05And we need to realize that we cannot have countries with these nuclear weapons be unrestrained.
- 52:11And that is the direction we were heading.
- 52:14Uh, that would have been a certain failure.
- 52:17And again, I'm not trying to be the intelligence officer shaking my knees.
- 52:21I've always been the person that listened to that individual, but attacked, not some kind of crazed or calculated risk Rommel, but somebody who understood the threat and made the right decisions at the right time to go after the enemy, and Iran is our enemy.
- 52:40And they have a lot of proxies who have spilt so much American blood all across this globe, and we do not need that to expand.
- 52:51And that's the direction that it was heading.
- 52:53Uh, and thank God last June we stopped that.
- 52:57And we need to look at right now, uh, 11 months later.
- 53:02America needs to understand the strength of the United States is that we are one united.
- 53:08And just like it's written on our currency and in our founding documents that we are one nation under God, that we believe and that we have more in common with each other, and that we can unite, that we believe that these freedoms are given to us, you know, these they're inalienable.
- 53:29They cannot be taken away, that they're given to us as it says in our founding documents from our creator, and that these US politicians and they signal hesitation and they use this rhetoric to divide us.
- 53:42That is something that hopefully you will listen to what I've said and say, I cannot stand behind you when you try to divide our population.
- 53:53We cannot exist with this type of a threat.
- 53:56I don't want it to get to where, as Joe Kent says it's imminent.
- 53:59We need standoff.
- 54:01We need breathing room.
- 54:02And that's where Washington leadership, NATO leadership, they cannot hesitate.
- 54:09This needs to be eradicated.
- 54:11We all need to unite and bring Tehran to their knees.
- 54:18We can't simply sit back as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did and when they were addressing this in the press, and they just said, no, that was their quote, or don't do it.
- 54:31Are you kidding me?
- 54:32And every other past president of the United States did the same thing.
- 54:37They punted.
- 54:38When you look at what Hezbollah did to the American embassy in 1983 and to the marine barracks in 1983, and they shed over 241 American lives.
- 54:50And what did Ronald Reagan do?
- 54:52Well, he left, he left Beirut Lebanon.
- 54:56Those are peacekeeping forces.
- 54:58So the time for action, complete action is now.
- 55:02We cannot afford a nuclear Iran.
- 55:04That would endanger Israel.
- 55:06Israel would respond, Gulf states would invest, and then we'd have this problem at an exponentially larger level.
- 55:13We cannot allow Iran to intimidate Gulf states to destabilize our energy markets, our global markets to continue to fund their terrorist proxies.
- 55:26And they must completely have a leadership change that it needs to happen.
- 55:33People don't like to talk about that, but we cannot have maniacs running the 16th largest military in the world.
- 55:39We cannot have maniacs that shout death to America seeking nuclear weapons and missiles.
- 55:46And we cannot have the United States and NATO fractured and emboldening this type of mindset and ideology.
- 55:56The world needs to come together.
- 55:57We need to end this type of terrorism because that's what it is.
- 56:00What it is, it's a terrorist state, and they're no longer going to have some permanent hostage posture on the world.
- 56:00It's a terrorist state, and they're no longer going to have some permanent hostage posture on the world.
- 56:06So again, America, it has been awesome bringing this to you.
- 56:06So again, America, it has been awesome bringing this to you.
- 56:12I ask that you keep in mind and pray to our Almighty Father, that those Americans who are of overseas right now, they are protecting our country.
- 56:12I ask that you keep in mind and pray to our Almighty Father that those Americans who are of overseas right now, they are protecting our country.
- 56:30We need to make sure that we embolden them and keep them in our prayers.
- 56:33Uh, ask that you pray that for uh our our leaders as well as those that are at the point of friction fighting uh this war right now.
- 56:42So thank you, and we'll look forward to being back next week with another episode of National Security Hour.
- 56:48Have a good day.
