- 0:00Speaker 1: Babies that talk like adults.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's one more thing. I'm strong and geddy. Seems to
- 0:09Speaker 2: be the hottest thing on the internet. Babies that talk
- 0:11Speaker 2: like adults. More on that in the second. So we
- 0:17Speaker 2: got a new Trump impersonator. Where did this person come from?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Katie? I just stumbled across him on X but or Twitter.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I don't know what to call it anymore. But this
- 0:25Speaker 3: guy he you know, Austin Nasso, who's the one that
- 0:28Speaker 3: we usually play. He's just got trumped down to a tee.
- 0:31Speaker 3: This guy's giving him a run for his money. It's
- 0:32Speaker 3: pretty funny, okay.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Cool.
- 0:35Speaker 4: The India Pakistan war, I call it World War seven
- 0:38Speaker 4: eleven is officially over. We ended it this morning. It
- 0:42Speaker 4: was a tremendous morning. We did a great job. My
- 0:45Speaker 4: phone rang. It was a number I didn't recognize. I
- 0:48Speaker 4: was feeling risky, right, it was feeling risky. So I
- 0:51Speaker 4: picked it up and they said to me, sir, we
- 0:54Speaker 4: like to talk to you about your extended war. And
- 0:57Speaker 4: to I said, we're not going to do that. We
- 0:59Speaker 4: know who the hell is on the phone. We're not
- 1:00Speaker 4: going to do that. And then the other phone rang
- 1:03Speaker 4: and it was another number I didn't know. So I
- 1:06Speaker 4: picked it up and they said to me, sir, you've
- 1:09Speaker 4: won the lottery. Now send me a social Security number.
- 1:14Speaker 4: And I knew at that moment we had a golden opportunity, right,
- 1:17Speaker 4: we had a big, beautiful golden opportunity. We took both phones,
- 1:21Speaker 4: we put them together. We said, talk, make a deal.
- 1:26Speaker 2: That's pretty funny.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Settled the India Pakistan war thing.
- 1:30Speaker 2: That's pretty funny.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Got two scammers on the phone and had him go
- 1:33Speaker 5: at it.
- 1:34Speaker 2: World War seven eleven.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Wow, that's that's some meggy stuff. Jack and I don't approve. Wow, Wow,
- 1:45Speaker 1: that's good. It's how ridiculous was it that Alec Baldwin
- 1:53Speaker 1: his quote unquote Trump imitation? It wasn't on TV.
- 2:03Speaker 2: The AI craze of having babies doing things is huge,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and we talked about this a couple of weeks ago.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I love the you know, All Babies, Cast of Friends,
- 2:14Speaker 2: All Babies movie, Goodfellas, All Babies, you know, pick whatever
- 2:18Speaker 2: it is. They make the characters into babies, and it's
- 2:20Speaker 2: just it's amazing how they do it. And I don't
- 2:23Speaker 2: know why. It's so charming. And then I sent Joe
- 2:25Speaker 2: one over the weekend. It was a old Monty Python
- 2:28Speaker 2: bit that they turned into babies awesome.
- 2:31Speaker 1: For some reason, I watched it for a little while
- 2:33Speaker 1: and I thought, Okay, I get it.
- 2:34Speaker 2: So you're not into the baby's talking. John Cleese himself
- 2:37Speaker 2: loved it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Oh, I don't doubt it for a second. He wrote it,
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I don't know, Katie, I've seen like twenty episodes of
- 2:44Speaker 3: that show. Now though everybody's making talking babies.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's run its course with you, huh. I just I
- 2:50Speaker 2: wonder what I wonder how maybe it's over. I don't
- 2:52Speaker 2: know how how.
- 2:52Speaker 1: About the legs are rounding?
- 2:54Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Absolutely, I mean because the babies resemble the adults that
- 2:58Speaker 1: they are taking the place of in a way. It's
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little mind ben I.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Read I treated a little Trump, a little orange Trump
- 3:04Speaker 2: baby who was talking about I don't remember what he
- 3:06Speaker 2: was talking about. It was very funny about people not working,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you know, leeching off the government. Baby. So the thing
- 3:15Speaker 2: I don't know, and I was just asking, is this
- 3:17Speaker 2: does that require like, does it require anything more than
- 3:21Speaker 2: me than getting like an app and saying make all
- 3:25Speaker 2: the people in the Simpsons babies or something, and then
- 3:28Speaker 2: that's all there is to it? Or is there more
- 3:30Speaker 2: skill involved in that.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It might take a few more prompts than that, but
- 3:34Speaker 1: in my experience, you know, I was I was trying
- 3:38Speaker 1: to come up with an image just as a run
- 3:41Speaker 1: through of my idiot dog Baxter. And I'll explain my
- 3:45Speaker 1: dispar disparagement of him in a second. But I thought,
- 3:49Speaker 1: all right, let's just what's the first thing pops in mind?
- 3:51Speaker 1: All right, a black lab border Collie mix licking an
- 3:55Speaker 1: ice cream cone on a beach. And I got it
- 3:58Speaker 1: back and I said, all right, add little gray around
- 4:00Speaker 1: the muzzle and a little gray on the chest, and okay,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's close. Uh, make it a chocolate ice cream cone.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Have the dog where a ball cap, and I want
- 4:10Speaker 1: to see beach umbrellas in the background. But so it
- 4:13Speaker 1: takes a minute or two as you'll refine it, but
- 4:16Speaker 1: it's probably not hard.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So then would you guess that we're just going to
- 4:20Speaker 2: go through a bunch of trends like this, so the
- 4:21Speaker 2: baby's thing is played in you guys's opinion, So then
- 4:24Speaker 2: it'll be you make all the everybody from everybody loves
- 4:28Speaker 2: Raymond's a dog or whatever it is, and we'll do
- 4:31Speaker 2: that for a while.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Oh, it's like remember the trend where they were doing
- 4:34Speaker 3: something with all the presidents. Yeah, like all the presidents
- 4:37Speaker 3: are like Vikings and you know, yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 1: That was kind of fun. Yeah, I tell you what, though,
- 4:43Speaker 1: it brings us back to that alleged video of Mcroan
- 4:46Speaker 1: and Merits and others on a train hiding their cocaine
- 4:50Speaker 1: that you're kind of anti. Zelensky, right, is saying, is
- 4:54Speaker 1: proof that something's something? It it's ridiculous, but it's the
- 4:58Speaker 1: quality of it is very, very good. So we are,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I think, into the world we'd imagine was coming, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: that is the completely post truth world in which, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 1: folks with even the slightest pre inclination to believe something,
- 5:14Speaker 1: we'll see it and believe it completely and reject the
- 5:17Speaker 1: notion that it's fake.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Well, you got that from a new standpoint, and then
- 5:21Speaker 2: from the entertainment standpoint, other than a few likes from
- 5:27Speaker 2: your friends, Like, whoever made the money Python skit with babies?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Did they make a dollar off of that? Even if
- 5:33Speaker 2: it was seen by millions of people. I don't even
- 5:35Speaker 2: because it gets it gets retweeted so many different places.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It's not like it's in one source.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's if it's a monetized account, they get
- 5:44Speaker 3: some form of credit.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like algorithm algorithms, people are
- 5:52Speaker 2: just doing it. I guess you just do it for
- 5:54Speaker 2: your own amusement mostly then.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Well, I guess, But I don't understand. If I retweet
- 5:59Speaker 1: say that skit and somebody clicks on it, I'd imagine
- 6:04Speaker 1: the person who posted it somehow gets quote unquote credit
- 6:07Speaker 1: for that.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I don't know it through Twitter. Seems like all this
- 6:10Speaker 2: stuff I see is on so many different platforms. It's so.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Scattered, disparate.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so scattered out there. Yeah, I think you're going
- 6:21Speaker 2: I do think people are going to have to create
- 6:22Speaker 2: stuff just for the enjoyment of creating.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Stuff because yeah, which, well let's be fine honestly, although
- 6:29Speaker 1: who knows where there's money to be made, people will
- 6:31Speaker 1: figure out a way to make it, and good for them. Ah.
- 6:33Speaker 1: So the reason I called my dog an idiot or
- 6:36Speaker 1: whatever I called him, and I've brought this up before,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but he somehow he stepped on something or he did
- 6:41Speaker 1: something and he had a very minor injury to his Paul. Well,
- 6:46Speaker 1: we discovered when we're not looking at at night and
- 6:48Speaker 1: all he just licks it and licks it and licks it,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and now it's become a terrible mess and he's got
- 6:52Speaker 1: to go get antibiotics and god knows what else, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: he's wearing the cone of shame, which you deserve if
- 6:58Speaker 1: you're listening, Baxter. Yeah, a dumb ass. Anyway, How is
- 7:03Speaker 1: that evolutionarily a thing with dogs? That would they have
- 7:08Speaker 1: fault to do something that turns a minor and insignificant
- 7:11Speaker 1: injury into an infected mess.
- 7:13Speaker 2: That does happen a lot with dogs. They just out
- 7:16Speaker 2: of boredom, they just start picking at it or whatever
- 7:18Speaker 2: and turn it into.
- 7:19Speaker 1: A problem discomfort, yeah, whatever it is. But yeah, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't get that evolutionarily speaking.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I would tell you though, because I was at the
- 7:26Speaker 2: farm yesterday where we got four dogs out there and
- 7:29Speaker 2: they live outside all almost all the time, or run
- 7:31Speaker 2: around twenty acres and everything like that. The number of
- 7:35Speaker 2: town dog problems that just don't seem to crop up
- 7:38Speaker 2: with country dogs is interesting, and I don't know why.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I don't know if it's because they get so much exercise, sure,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and maybe they're.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Just so much mental exercise too.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just not as likely to lay there and
- 7:51Speaker 2: lick at your hurt paw because you've been running around
- 7:54Speaker 2: chasing squirrels and rabbits all day long and you're exhausted.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I don't know why, but just a lot of that
- 7:58Speaker 2: stuff just doesn't happen. For whatever.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I think that's a great theory. I think you're absolutely right.
- 8:02Speaker 1: My dog has a boring life. I admit it. We
- 8:04Speaker 1: walk him a lot, but I mean he's he's kind
- 8:07Speaker 1: of old, and there's only so much he can do.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And you know, I've recommended a number of books to him, fiction,
- 8:13Speaker 1: non fiction, history, some fairly racy stuff, and he just
- 8:18Speaker 1: doesn't he's not interested.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I do watch the dogs at the farm, and I
- 8:22Speaker 2: think I can. I can watch him for like fifteen
- 8:24Speaker 2: minutes and think you just got more exercise than a
- 8:26Speaker 2: town dog got in a week.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah, way to hell over there.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Chasing a rabbit and then all the way back chasing
- 8:33Speaker 2: something else. Have Yeah?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Ought to just turn him loose, run around the neighborhood. Yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the neighbors would love that.
- 8:40Speaker 2: The ConA shame. Yeah, what's that gonna cost you? Any idea?
- 8:46Speaker 1: I don't know. We're taking him to the vet this afternoon.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It'll four figures. No, do you don't think No?
- 8:55Speaker 2: No, way, will charge one hundred and fifty bucks for
- 8:58Speaker 2: the cone.
- 8:59Speaker 1: We have a cone. He's been an idiot for many,
- 9:02Speaker 1: many years. We keep the cone, and we've got a
- 9:05Speaker 1: nice velcrow cloth cone. Yeah, fairly stiff structured thing. Yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 1: This this is not a you use it and throw
- 9:14Speaker 1: it away dog, super luxury cone. Yeah, it's famulous.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I'm debating on telling you guys a story and I can't.
- 9:24Speaker 3: It's pretty, it's pretty brutal. But it has to do
- 9:26Speaker 3: with my my friend. My friend has a farm and
- 9:29Speaker 3: she's got farm dogs, and one of those farm dogs
- 9:33Speaker 3: decided to bang the other farm dog.
- 9:36Speaker 5: And the male farm dogs let's use.
- 9:38Speaker 1: The term make love.
- 9:39Speaker 2: They were deeply emotionally connected here, right, Yeah, that is in.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Love loving relationship. Yes, many hobbies that they share.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Uh.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Male dogs unit got stuck in female dog oh, and
- 10:00Speaker 3: ended up inverted.
- 10:01Speaker 5: So she had to deal with that.
- 10:03Speaker 1: WHOA.
- 10:05Speaker 3: She sent me a picture and it was like anything
- 10:08Speaker 3: I've ever seen before.
- 10:11Speaker 5: The entire thing was inside out.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I feel like you could send me a picture of
- 10:16Speaker 2: that with no context and I couldn't guess in ten
- 10:18Speaker 2: thousand guesses what I was looking.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Oh, oh, I get it. The female dog prolapsed.
- 10:24Speaker 3: No, no, the male dog what yeah, like came all
- 10:28Speaker 3: the way out and is stuck out, so they had
- 10:30Speaker 3: to go to the vet.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Oh, figure out how to fix I told you this
- 10:37Speaker 5: was gruesome.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, you're not gonna show us, are you?
- 10:40Speaker 5: Oh you know, I will. We're friends like that.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I don't.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I don't need to see dog whang mishaps. All right,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 10:50Speaker 2: She's a popular Instagram account.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Oh you make the dog look like a baby and
- 10:54Speaker 1: then mishap.
- 10:56Speaker 5: There you go.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Well, you know, poor little guy. He was really having
- 11:00Speaker 3: a good time though. At least he was doing something
- 11:02Speaker 3: he enjoyed exactly.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Carma, dog wang mishaps.
- 11:09Speaker 5: It should be on your phones by now.
- 11:11Speaker 2: There's plenty of sites for them. All right, I'll look
- 11:12Speaker 2: at the picture podcast.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm getting ready. I'm actually averting my eyes. I'm gonna
- 11:19Speaker 1: dart over there.
- 11:21Speaker 5: It comes.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That's about what I expected, honestly. Wow, so he's got
- 11:25Speaker 1: like a perma.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I feel like the fact I feel like the fact
- 11:31Speaker 2: that this picture is on my phone has like alerted
- 11:35Speaker 2: me to a number of government agencies or probably.
- 11:37Speaker 1: And well it should.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Well, if it's on mine, that's got to be on yours.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I don't like the fact that this was ever on
- 11:43Speaker 2: my phone. He's going to show up in a courtroom someday.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a red light flashing right now.
- 11:50Speaker 4: We've got a.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Dog Dick picking Susius here and Rogers seven.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Sir, I'm deleting this immediately.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Thanks for that, Katie, there's something wrong with you. You
- 12:02Speaker 1: should wear the cone of shame. You can't excess your phone.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Well I was going to tell a story about making
- 12:08Speaker 1: asparagus on Mother's Day, but so much for that. Well,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I guess that's it.
