- 0:00Speaker 1: I don't trust the single chihuahua like never will never
- 0:04Speaker 1: have Like there's an absolutely what.
- 0:07Speaker 2: About the taco bell one?
- 0:08Speaker 1: He seemed cool did but given the opportunity, I guarantee
- 0:12Speaker 1: he would bite. I don't know. Those dogs are nothing
- 0:15Speaker 1: but a little shaky bity pieces of I hate that
- 0:20Speaker 1: breed more than anything.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Well, to be fair, they really have and been not
- 0:26Speaker 3: just evolved, but been really gmode to be this little
- 0:30Speaker 3: rat dog that has to be the most part just
- 0:34Speaker 3: to stay alive because you could literally drop kick the
- 0:37Speaker 3: thing thirty feet you know. Well different, It makes a
- 0:40Speaker 3: little sense, but they're annoying to draw it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, draw like Bob ross Ooh he did it. We
- 0:48Speaker 2: did it. We're back. Special Edition. It's Sunday. It is
- 0:52Speaker 2: at the time of the recording, it is Sunday. Anyways,
- 0:54Speaker 2: it's the twentieth of April. It's the day apparently that
- 0:59Speaker 2: was the red direction of Jesus, which I don't get
- 1:02Speaker 2: the whole Easter thing. And I'm not a church guy,
- 1:03Speaker 2: and I'm not out here trying to make fun of
- 1:04Speaker 2: people that are at church. But I'm pretty sure that
- 1:05Speaker 2: anybody that goes to church doesn't watch this show. So
- 1:07Speaker 2: it's okay. But the kids were like, what's the thing
- 1:10Speaker 2: behind Easter? And I'm like, don't schools teach you this stuff?
- 1:13Speaker 2: And they're like, eh, so today's the day that Jesus
- 1:16Speaker 2: came back or something? Right, I'm like, I don't know,
- 1:18Speaker 2: is it It seems like Easter is in a different
- 1:20Speaker 2: day every year? Did he just come back randomly? Like
- 1:22Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't get it. If you want
- 1:23Speaker 2: to go to church, you figured it out on your own.
- 1:26Speaker 2: But that was a conversation that we had around Easter
- 1:28Speaker 2: time and I don't get it.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so go ahead, No, no, you go ahead, because
- 1:34Speaker 1: I have I don't understand it either.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Are you talking about, like why the obvious? What's the
- 1:38Speaker 3: relation between the Easter bunny and Christianity and Jesus?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Is the Is this the question?
- 1:43Speaker 2: They were just because they were like, oh, isn't it
- 1:45Speaker 2: the day that Jesus came back or something? I don't know.
- 1:47Speaker 2: If it was the day, then why is Easter on
- 1:49Speaker 2: different days all of the time. It's not like Christmas
- 1:51Speaker 2: is always on the twenty fifth. They just decide Hallmark's like, oh,
- 1:55Speaker 2: let's just have Easter on this day because it's more
- 1:57Speaker 2: convenient statistically for you to go and buy all this
- 1:59Speaker 2: stuff and get all the stuff from the easter bunny.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Well, there's listen. I'm not trying to get off in
- 2:04Speaker 3: the woods because our followers probably don't want to hear this,
- 2:06Speaker 3: but I will say this. There were very many of
- 2:08Speaker 3: these councils and these places where the smart theologians and
- 2:13Speaker 3: men of God came together and decided to have conversations
- 2:16Speaker 3: and what is going to be the law and what's
- 2:18Speaker 3: going to be the word of God? Et cetera, et cetera.
- 2:21Speaker 3: And one thing early Christians did really good at, whether
- 2:24Speaker 3: you like them or don't, is they took what was
- 2:28Speaker 3: already in popularity with the Pagans, and they spun it
- 2:32Speaker 3: on its head and stole and right right wrong otherwise,
- 2:37Speaker 3: don't know. That's for you to decide. The idea Christmas
- 2:41Speaker 3: is the idea of you know, the winter, summer, solstice,
- 2:45Speaker 3: winter equinox is that right is vice versa. I can't remember,
- 2:48Speaker 3: but there's good to me they've stole each of those.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Jesus wasn't born around December twenty fifth. He was born
- 2:53Speaker 3: in the springtime, I believe. But the early folks decided
- 2:56Speaker 3: to change that, and that's where we celebrate it. Easter
- 2:59Speaker 3: was originally a pagan holiday and we stole some of
- 3:02Speaker 3: those points. And what it boils down to with the
- 3:04Speaker 3: Easter bunny is he represents fertility and new life, et cetera.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So that's where Zuckerberg figured out how to steal Facebook
- 3:12Speaker 2: was from being pegged by the pagans or whatever. The
- 3:15Speaker 2: saying is interesting.
- 3:16Speaker 1: All I know is whenever I see the Easter Bunny,
- 3:19Speaker 1: it makes me want.
- 3:19Speaker 3: To Yeah, it's exactly. Rabbits are known for their rapid
- 3:22Speaker 3: reproduction and they symbolize new life.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's what it was.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I don't know if you guys are overly
- 3:29Speaker 2: prepared for the Easter, but kids in my house they
- 3:32Speaker 2: wanted to do an Easter egg hunt, which turns out,
- 3:35Speaker 2: I think that is what Easter is all about. For
- 3:37Speaker 2: kids these days. They could almost care less about getting
- 3:41Speaker 2: a basket from the bunny and all of that stuff.
- 3:43Speaker 2: They want to find some Easter eggs, right, So I'm
- 3:46Speaker 2: sitting there late last night and turns out don't have
- 3:48Speaker 2: any goddamn eggs, which is funny because years ago I
- 3:51Speaker 2: put about four hundred Easter eggs in my friggin' beard
- 3:55Speaker 2: don't have a single one around the house anymore. So
- 3:57Speaker 2: I had to go to the only place twenty minutes
- 4:00Speaker 2: away one way that was open, the Wallfart And if
- 4:04Speaker 2: you guys ever, had to make a late night wallfar run.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And this store is only open till eleven, I believe
- 4:10Speaker 2: in my area. And it's not a super Walmart. It's
- 4:12Speaker 2: I don't know what they call them now, or just
- 4:14Speaker 2: regular Walmart's, if they're even a thing anymore. I don't
- 4:16Speaker 2: think they build them like that. But wholely shit, I
- 4:19Speaker 2: was like, where the hell am I not only was
- 4:22Speaker 2: a little bit extra creepy because the people there, almost
- 4:25Speaker 2: the lack of people because of a spring break where
- 4:27Speaker 2: we are, so everybody in our area apparently goes to
- 4:30Speaker 2: Myrtle Beach. They just pack up and move this whole
- 4:32Speaker 2: city of whatever and the only ones left are the
- 4:34Speaker 2: meth heads. And boy did I see some friggin characters.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I miss when they were open twenty four hours
- 4:43Speaker 1: just because shopping at two am was so beeatiful, Like
- 4:48Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. I was able to
- 4:49Speaker 1: get it. There was nobody blocking the aisles, nobody that
- 4:52Speaker 1: you have to fear to see that. You know, you
- 4:55Speaker 1: could just go shop the shelves stocked. If not, that's
- 5:00Speaker 1: what they were doing at that time with stocking the shelves.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It was perfect. Now I think mine closes at eleven
- 5:06Speaker 1: as well.
- 5:07Speaker 3: That's one of the things that the pandemic ruined. Like
- 5:11Speaker 3: what happened was the pandemic allowed these businesses and Walmart's
- 5:14Speaker 3: just one of the big ones we think about. There's
- 5:15Speaker 3: many others restaurants in there. McDonald's. There were many twenty
- 5:19Speaker 3: four hour McDonald's where I was and now in Omaha.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, this is a place of nearly a million
- 5:24Speaker 3: people when you're talking about the metropolis around it and
- 5:26Speaker 3: all the surrounding so suburbs, and you can't even get
- 5:29Speaker 3: a restaurant that stays over at twenty four to seven.
- 5:31Speaker 3: So these businesses decided to say, okay, well we're going
- 5:34Speaker 3: to try to save money where we can. We don't
- 5:35Speaker 3: make a lot of money overnight, so why are we
- 5:37Speaker 3: staying up and putting somebody to work. Maybe that changes
- 5:40Speaker 3: with AI. I don't know, but that really fast, man,
- 5:42Speaker 3: big time. I love shopping the middle the night. It
- 5:44Speaker 3: was fantastic.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I just looked real quick the McDonald's in the same
- 5:49Speaker 2: area near me. The closest one is twenty four hours.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Still okay, you lucky dog.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So look at that. You want to do some late
- 5:56Speaker 2: night bawl and leave the Bowlin Alley when they close
- 5:58Speaker 2: and stumble over to McDonald's and get a dee we
- 6:00Speaker 2: you still ken Every once in a while, though, right
- 6:03Speaker 2: across from I think we've talked about in the store
- 6:04Speaker 2: is a liquor store, Jerry's Liquor Store, and almost once
- 6:07Speaker 2: every year, some drunken idiot leaves the McDonald's drive through
- 6:10Speaker 2: and goes straight through the liquor store.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Jesus, you know we have we have a twenty four
- 6:15Speaker 1: hour McDonald's as well. But the weird thing is, though,
- 6:17Speaker 1: is you can't use the app after midnight. I believe
- 6:21Speaker 1: what to.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Mid because adults leave.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Well I was going to say, it's like wait a minute,
- 6:27Speaker 1: hold on, It's like where you're leaving the bar. It's
- 6:29Speaker 1: a Friday night. You know what's better than not trying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to smash at least forty McNuggets from their shared deal,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Like I want to do that. And so luckily the
- 6:39Speaker 1: one that we went to usually pretty cool, Like we
- 6:43Speaker 1: we got there We're like, hey, uh, can we get
- 6:45Speaker 1: the forty piece, but can we get the shareable deal?
- 6:47Speaker 1: And they're like, yeah, bro, we got you. We're like yes,
- 6:50Speaker 1: Like we don't want to drop thirty dollars almost on
- 6:53Speaker 1: that give us an eleven ninety nine. We appreciate you.
- 6:56Speaker 2: How awkward is the one guy that's either the manager,
- 6:59Speaker 2: assistant manage jerror manager trainee who is clearly probably not
- 7:05Speaker 2: cool and probably a little bit of a dirt bag,
- 7:06Speaker 2: who just thinks he is the man when he gets
- 7:08Speaker 2: behind that counter and he gets to look at that
- 7:11Speaker 2: menu and put the stuff in the bag and turn
- 7:13Speaker 2: it over and bust some people around. Because there's a
- 7:15Speaker 2: place that I I do know. This McDonald's is a
- 7:18Speaker 2: gold mine. Where it's located. It's on a main highway
- 7:20Speaker 2: where we are, and when you're traveling for sports, almost
- 7:24Speaker 2: every sport team the only option is this McDonald's or
- 7:29Speaker 2: a sub shop. And every team pretty much drives through
- 7:32Speaker 2: this town. And I mean you can't go by there
- 7:36Speaker 2: and not see a bunch of filled drive through a
- 7:38Speaker 2: filled restaurant or at least a bus in there, you
- 7:41Speaker 2: know what I mean. And so we were in there
- 7:42Speaker 2: the other day. We caught it right before the buses
- 7:44Speaker 2: and everything came in, because as soon as we got there,
- 7:46Speaker 2: ordered two bus as the kids came in. So they
- 7:48Speaker 2: were still kind of like chill. But this guy thought
- 7:50Speaker 2: he was the man. I mean, he was just strutting around,
- 7:54Speaker 2: awkwardly flirting with like women that were twenty years older
- 7:57Speaker 2: in him, probably ten years younger in him.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It was.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Disturbing, but he thought he was a man. He had
- 8:03Speaker 2: the McDonald's badge. I couldn't see his title. I was
- 8:05Speaker 2: trying to figure out who he was. But I feel
- 8:07Speaker 2: like they all have one, right yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I mean usually if they're rocking that tie and if
- 8:11Speaker 1: their uniform is immaculate, and I'm like, you don't really
- 8:16Speaker 1: do anything. You just pointing, directing and everything else.
- 8:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Now, if I see somebody they have the apron on
- 8:23Speaker 1: and it's absolutely filthy and they're sweating and everything, I'm like,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you're the man. You're about to make me the best
- 8:30Speaker 1: big Mac of your life. Like hook me up, brother,
- 8:34Speaker 1: Like give it to me. That sounds good now, I
- 8:37Speaker 1: know it's only what nine thirty. I would smash two
- 8:40Speaker 1: big Macs right now. You know what's funny is two things.
- 8:43Speaker 3: One Oh, it's just the box.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I would even eat that box, no, homo.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he said he'd eat my big big macusy. So
- 8:58Speaker 3: there is no greater to your but no greater feeling.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Man.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Then going to a fast food restaurant getting home and
- 9:06Speaker 3: the opposite of what you always expect, which is they
- 9:08Speaker 3: forgot an item is holy shit? Did they just like
- 9:11Speaker 3: really layer on this hefty? This was not supposed to
- 9:14Speaker 3: be a half pound burrito. This is like a pound
- 9:16Speaker 3: of a hat, you know, where you could just tell
- 9:17Speaker 3: they didn't care, and they're like that this guy's getting
- 9:20Speaker 3: he's getting the works today, you know.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, remember how we talked about the other day,
- 9:26Speaker 2: how we were going to have a segment where you've
- 9:28Speaker 2: been tries to eat the food sober and then he
- 9:31Speaker 2: and he eats it while he's elevated or whatever. Shout
- 9:35Speaker 2: out to retin link from the Good Mythical Morning for
- 9:38Speaker 2: listening to our idea, Because just the other day they
- 9:41Speaker 2: put out a video where they had the dish prepared
- 9:46Speaker 2: and they had somebody of their team and they referred
- 9:49Speaker 2: to it as gardening. They did a lot of gardening,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and they were severely tired from gardening, and they had
- 9:55Speaker 2: their staff eat. There was three of them like that.
- 9:58Speaker 2: One was like a like a fruity pebbles stuffed French
- 10:01Speaker 2: toast or something. It was these three like awesome meals,
- 10:04Speaker 2: Eat it, rate it. And then they just asked them
- 10:07Speaker 2: some random questions while they were gardening. And then they
- 10:10Speaker 2: were in the studio watching themselves look like idiots, listening
- 10:13Speaker 2: to themselves look like idiots. All elevated, and then listened
- 10:17Speaker 2: to the rankings and they had them try it against
- 10:18Speaker 2: Sober and I was just like, oh my god, they
- 10:22Speaker 2: took our idea and ran with it.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Well that sucks because it was a million dollar idea.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Who it was, so, I mean, we could still do it.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Our take was the other way around. They did it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: They did it backwards, you know, probably just so that
- 10:34Speaker 2: we don't go after them. But I've chatted with Rat
- 10:38Speaker 2: a couple of times on Instagram with the beard and
- 10:40Speaker 2: the long flow and hair, so we're cool.
- 10:41Speaker 3: We're cool.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I used to watch their stuff religiously. I was addicted
- 10:49Speaker 1: because we ours was. It was specifically the ones that
- 10:52Speaker 1: were like the challenges of food, like which which ranking,
- 10:55Speaker 1: like which pizza was the best, which sandwiches are the best?
- 10:59Speaker 3: And everything.
- 10:59Speaker 1: So my kids and I I think during the pandemic,
- 11:03Speaker 1: we bought every Pringle flavor we could find at Walmart,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Dollar Dinner or all those places, and uh, it's I
- 11:12Speaker 1: don't know. It was just really fun. And that was
- 11:14Speaker 1: one of the cheaper ones because I think back then
- 11:15Speaker 1: it was barely a little over a dollar can. So
- 11:18Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, yeah, you know, why not. So I
- 11:22Speaker 1: can't remember which one one. I think it was sur part,
- 11:26Speaker 1: like the sour cream and cheddar.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I think that's a solid choice. That was it was.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It was up there, so march madness.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I will to echo that when it comes to Springles
- 11:37Speaker 3: and did we talk about the pillow? We talk about this,
- 11:39Speaker 3: But when it comes to Springles, the classic flavors, the
- 11:42Speaker 3: I think it's sour cream and cheddar and then the
- 11:44Speaker 3: sour cream and onions. I believe that's the one. Those
- 11:46Speaker 3: are the two of the best, top two of the
- 11:48Speaker 3: top five. Like they can come out with all these
- 11:50Speaker 3: tai chili and all these crazy ones. Pizza pizzas good.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Pizza's up there, but pizza everything's good.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah. But what I will say about what I will
- 11:57Speaker 3: say about retin link and this is the most utmost
- 12:01Speaker 3: compliment I give somebody I don't know them, they'll never
- 12:05Speaker 3: know who that I exist. So I want to preface
- 12:07Speaker 3: with that, but by saying this is that love the
- 12:10Speaker 3: bearded guy, but that other dude is annoying as hell.
- 12:13Speaker 3: But that said, I still can't stop watching their videos,
- 12:16Speaker 3: like because the premise is so good, the production is
- 12:19Speaker 3: so great, the level of their team is fun, and
- 12:21Speaker 3: the ideas are fun. Some of his lines, the non
- 12:24Speaker 3: bearded one, just get kind of a little a little annoying.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And I love his one liners though link and he
- 12:31Speaker 2: actually reminds me a little bit of Link from Zelda.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I don't know, like I could, I could see your point.
- 12:35Speaker 2: But they actually had Bert Kraser on there the other day.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It was rank the meals the cheapest to the most expensive,
- 12:44Speaker 2: just based on taste, and they all picked them and
- 12:46Speaker 2: this and that, and when they picked the expensive one,
- 12:49Speaker 2: they have a guy in a gorilla suit come out right,
- 12:52Speaker 2: and for whatever reason, Bert looked genuinely terrified and started
- 12:57Speaker 2: like screaming. You could see him sweating, like he got awkward,
- 13:00Speaker 2: thinking it was a real like chimp or whatever at first,
- 13:04Speaker 2: because it just came out and then he was on
- 13:06Speaker 2: a different podcast and he randomly brought it up. He's like, dude, yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I was on good physical morning they brought this thing out.
- 13:11Speaker 2: He goes, I was scared, like I think I screamed.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I was sweating, like I thought it was a chimp
- 13:15Speaker 2: that was gonna come in and rip my face off
- 13:17Speaker 2: like that lady.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You know, honestly, every time that I do see a
- 13:21Speaker 1: chimp and everyone's like, oh, get so friendly, and I'm like,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I vividly remember that story of that lady's face getting
- 13:28Speaker 1: ripped off by her friendly monkey. I'm like, Nope, I
- 13:32Speaker 1: don't trust this soul. I've seen planning of the apes.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I saw a video yesterday of this chimp that was
- 13:39Speaker 2: in captivity for twenty nine years. It was in labs,
- 13:42Speaker 2: it was in cages, never saw sunlight, never saw grass,
- 13:46Speaker 2: And it was the moment of course they had to
- 13:47Speaker 2: video and put it all over there. And then one
- 13:49Speaker 2: of those major things like led whatever, bought the rights
- 13:52Speaker 2: to it and put it out there, and it was
- 13:54Speaker 2: the first time and it saw and it's just like
- 13:56Speaker 2: holy shit. You almost think like God, damn, did we
- 13:59Speaker 2: really come from it, because I mean, the reaction it
- 14:01Speaker 2: was just like you could just see him like in
- 14:03Speaker 2: his head even turn like and then he was just
- 14:05Speaker 2: like the happiest, the happiest thing in the entire world
- 14:09Speaker 2: when it's got to walk on grass and see the sun.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And it was just like doing its thing. I was like,
- 14:13Speaker 2: holy shit, it melts your heart a little bit. Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 2: that instant, that reaction of the face was like what
- 14:21Speaker 2: to you.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Bean's point. I always think back to you know, you
- 14:24Speaker 3: see a monkey, you see a gorilla, you see a chimpanzee,
- 14:26Speaker 3: and you're like, oh, man, I could be the one.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I could be the one that'd be like their friend,
- 14:30Speaker 3: that we'd be cool, be tight, I'd be eat apples
- 14:33Speaker 3: and shit, we'd be tossing pieces of pie back and forth.
- 14:37Speaker 3: And then you hear stories like that, you get scared.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I even get that way with I'm a huge dog guy,
- 14:41Speaker 3: but with pit bulls. I want some him to blue
- 14:43Speaker 3: pit bowl. And I mean she was listening to everything
- 14:47Speaker 3: I ever said. I mean I didn't even have to speak.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I could just like give her a look and snap
- 14:51Speaker 3: and she would go. There was still a part of
- 14:53Speaker 3: me that would didn't want her around small children, you
- 14:56Speaker 3: know what I mean. There was still a part of
- 14:57Speaker 3: me even and it wasn't my pit bulls my but
- 15:00Speaker 3: you know whatever, we were roommates. But yeah, even in
- 15:04Speaker 3: that moment, looking back, thinking back, just she could have
- 15:07Speaker 3: taken me out if she wanted to, you know, in
- 15:09Speaker 3: the right situation. So they're still animals, and that's a
- 15:11Speaker 3: scary thing.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You weren't kidding, even if they've, like you said, been
- 15:16Speaker 2: trained in this. Like the other day, there's somebody near me.
- 15:19Speaker 2: They lost both of their I think they're like Bowld
- 15:22Speaker 2: mastiffs or something, some kind of like really expensive, really
- 15:25Speaker 2: nice dog. They got out, I guess, and there's somebody
- 15:29Speaker 2: around here that does like thermal drone imaging to try
- 15:32Speaker 2: to find lost pets. So they're like. The wife was
- 15:36Speaker 2: called me and she was like, what that was going
- 15:37Speaker 2: on in our road? I was like, what are you talking?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Nothing ever happens. I'm like, what did a ship truck
- 15:42Speaker 2: break down? Is there a dump truck? Like what do
- 15:43Speaker 2: you mean? She's like, I don't know. I just saw
- 15:45Speaker 2: this huge drone take off in the middle of the road.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I don't know. Let me look. And unfortunately they're the
- 15:50Speaker 2: dogs they got out, they're lost, So they were just
- 15:54Speaker 2: six hours all these miles. I don't think they found
- 15:56Speaker 2: them yet. But I got thinking, like, what if these
- 15:59Speaker 2: dogs came up to me, Like, I'm not gonna I
- 16:01Speaker 2: don't know these dogs. I'm not gonna be like, come here, dog,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you're missing, Like you're a you're bigger than me, Like
- 16:06Speaker 2: you don't know. One, they're out in the wild now,
- 16:08Speaker 2: probably starving. But two you don't like. Just because they're
- 16:12Speaker 2: nice to their owners doesn't mean they're going to be
- 16:14Speaker 2: nice to you, especially if they smell other dogs on you.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't other dogs. They don't overly trust.
- 16:20Speaker 1: See, I don't trust the single Chihuahua like never will
- 16:25Speaker 1: never have. There's an absolutely I.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Think that's he seemed cool.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Did but given the opportunity, I guarantee he would bite.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Those dogs are nothing but little shaky
- 16:40Speaker 1: bity pieces of shit. I hate that breed more than anything.
- 16:44Speaker 3: To be fair, they really have and been not just evolved,
- 16:49Speaker 3: but been really gmode to be this little rat dog
- 16:55Speaker 3: that has to like be the most just to stay
- 16:57Speaker 3: alive because you could literally drop kick the things feet
- 17:01Speaker 3: you know, well it makes a little sense, but they're
- 17:04Speaker 3: annoying as shit. I grew up with a couple of
- 17:05Speaker 3: them two there.
- 17:06Speaker 2: It's like the little guy, the short guy that has
- 17:08Speaker 2: to have the big lifted truck. They just need to
- 17:11Speaker 2: be seen, They just need to be heard.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Speaking of witch Oh, I was yesterday. We were shopping
- 17:18Speaker 1: in town. We did a little thrift in and we
- 17:21Speaker 1: did get some cool things too.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Is that a new stack at old school video games
- 17:24Speaker 2: behind you? I see?
- 17:26Speaker 1: No, but no, I did put an offer in on
- 17:29Speaker 1: this guy on Facebook marketplace. But he's kind of being
- 17:31Speaker 1: he's been difficult, kind of upset.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Same guy that had the like a condo machine.
- 17:36Speaker 1: No, no, this is a new one, but he's about
- 17:38Speaker 1: to be on the same territory. If he keeps dicking around,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I won't make He's even more clear he's he's local,
- 17:45Speaker 1: so I will he will block me soon. We were
- 17:49Speaker 1: we were shopping around and of course my kids couldn't
- 17:51Speaker 1: decide on the same fast food restaurant. So in this
- 17:54Speaker 1: area there's a whole bunch like a like right next
- 17:57Speaker 1: to each other. So we just placed orders and you
- 18:00Speaker 1: was the rewards on three different AP's didn't make this.
- 18:04Speaker 1: So but yeah, we're we get a taco, be able
- 18:06Speaker 1: to pick it up for my daughter's order, and this
- 18:08Speaker 1: guy is like, oh, nice truck, and I was like thanks,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and he's like, yeah, I wouldn't drive it. And I
- 18:16Speaker 1: was like thanks, all right. He goes, yeah, mine's a
- 18:20Speaker 1: lot bigger than this one. And I was like that's amazing,
- 18:24Speaker 1: okay cool, and he goes, mine's a platinum and I
- 18:27Speaker 1: was like, that's awesome. Can I get mild sauce? I
- 18:31Speaker 1: think she said she wants fire too, and he's like, yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 1: my wheels are thirty six inches. That's awesome, man. You
- 18:38Speaker 1: uh he was. He was pretty short, so he was
- 18:41Speaker 1: a short king as they say. I believe he was
- 18:44Speaker 1: five seven maybe five six. I couldn't tell because the
- 18:48Speaker 1: window sat lower so there was a discrepancy, so he
- 18:52Speaker 1: might have been short.
- 18:52Speaker 2: But it was an employee was there with the drive.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Through window attendant. I was like, that's why. I was like,
- 18:59Speaker 1: just put the food the bag, sir, I don't care.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Just can I have my food? I don't need all this,
- 19:03Speaker 1: and like he just he just kept pretty much telling
- 19:05Speaker 1: me my truck sucked while his was awesome. And I
- 19:08Speaker 1: just wanted to be like, Hey, my job's awesome, Yours
- 19:11Speaker 1: looks like it kind of sucks. I don't know, give
- 19:13Speaker 1: me my goddamn sauce and.
- 19:15Speaker 2: It's thirteen twenty nine going bud or whatever. I don't
- 19:18Speaker 2: know what the minimum wages in your state.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Well, and this guy was like fifty. And that's why
- 19:22Speaker 1: I was like, what the hell? I was like, I
- 19:24Speaker 1: don't know, just I don't.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Usually because it also doubles as his.
- 19:28Speaker 1: House maybe, and I just want to be like, can
- 19:31Speaker 1: you afford a platinum payment in this economy? Did you
- 19:36Speaker 1: talk about.
- 19:36Speaker 2: The did you look was it in the parking lot?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Dang No, I didn't even look at it. That was
- 19:42Speaker 1: dumb with me. But honestly, I was ready to get
- 19:44Speaker 1: the hell out of there, and I was ready to
- 19:46Speaker 1: go to the thrift store, which it ended up this way.
- 19:50Speaker 1: We went to a different one, like so we didn't
- 19:52Speaker 1: one to two of them, but this one of them
- 19:53Speaker 1: was never been there before. And we checked out the
- 19:56Speaker 1: sports section, and uh, do you you always know like
- 20:00Speaker 1: the indoor mini golf set that like you hold it
- 20:05Speaker 1: almost like a club, but it has a trigger and
- 20:08Speaker 1: you click it and it has a little miniature figuring
- 20:10Speaker 1: that will swing and hit the club with the almost
- 20:15Speaker 1: like a marble size ball, right, But you can change
- 20:18Speaker 1: the clubs and you can do right hand, left hand.
- 20:21Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So usually those things I've seen are like thirty bucks.
- 20:26Speaker 1: This one was three dollars and it was brand new,
- 20:29Speaker 1: never open, and I was like, oh shit, okay, so
- 20:32Speaker 1: that was my little sweet mine.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Pretty sweet.
- 20:36Speaker 1: But my son, he's been into the retro games, which
- 20:39Speaker 1: is why I had the stack back there. He likes
- 20:41Speaker 1: NFL Street or he likes any street NFL kids, so
- 20:46Speaker 1: he likes the old school games. And I was like, hey,
- 20:48Speaker 1: have you tryed an NFL Street and he goes no.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I was like, let's try it, and so he's like
- 20:53Speaker 1: once he played it, he's like, oh, this is different,
- 20:55Speaker 1: this is awesome. I like this. He found a football
- 20:59Speaker 1: that has our last name on it. Oh if that
- 21:03Speaker 1: gives you a hint, and it said NFL Street on it,
- 21:06Speaker 1: and he goes he goes, look at this retro thing
- 21:09Speaker 1: a dollar and he just like he's like, dads, like,
- 21:12Speaker 1: can I get it? I was like, yeah, it's a dollar,
- 21:15Speaker 1: why not.
- 21:15Speaker 2: But you're gonna have to work this off.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I know, well. And so we play all obviously, all
- 21:21Speaker 1: the kids play some kind of a baseball game or
- 21:24Speaker 1: baseball for the team, and we go to we're stand
- 21:29Speaker 1: the sports section and my son finds my youngest finds
- 21:31Speaker 1: a little t ball set a helmet or whatever that
- 21:34Speaker 1: has the face mask on it. And I was like what.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And he always likes to play catcher and he got
- 21:38Speaker 1: drilled just that day before, right in the head from
- 21:42Speaker 1: the ball balancing, and he kept saying, I know, I
- 21:45Speaker 1: need a mask, You need a mask, and I'm like,
- 21:47Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, just walk it off, You'll be alright. So
- 21:51Speaker 1: we end up getting we end up buying that too,
- 21:53Speaker 1: So we spent less than ten bucks, and we each
- 21:56Speaker 1: walked away with a pretty good find, I think, so,
- 21:58Speaker 1: I don't know, it was a besides, you know, my
- 22:02Speaker 1: truck and the size of my tires. Overall was a
- 22:06Speaker 1: pretty good experience.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Didn't Arcade one up put out a Blitz NFL Blitz game.
- 22:12Speaker 2: They did, and it's and I think it was the first,
- 22:15Speaker 2: if not the only Wi Fi compatible one, so you
- 22:18Speaker 2: could play against other people.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Was it? I know, I think it was pretty sure,
- 22:23Speaker 1: like six hundred bucks, though, I think for that one normally.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It was yeah, well, I'm trying to find it. I
- 22:28Speaker 2: jumped on the website real quick, and I don't even
- 22:31Speaker 2: see it on the website. Of course, there's one on
- 22:35Speaker 2: like even home Depot with selling them. Target was selling
- 22:37Speaker 2: them out of stock, out of stock. There's someone that
- 22:39Speaker 2: on event options is selling it for four thirty. But yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 2: they were Wi Fi compatible, so you could actually play
- 22:45Speaker 2: against other people. Because I thought about it, I was like, man,
- 22:49Speaker 2: So then I threw it out to the family and
- 22:50Speaker 2: none of them carred. I was like, well, I'd be
- 22:52Speaker 2: the only one playing in this, So.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I like the the Ninja Turtle one is the one
- 22:57Speaker 1: that I was looking at. I think the Turtles in time.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Dude, my buddy when he was running his restaurant in
- 23:02Speaker 2: a college town, had the legit arcade game of that
- 23:06Speaker 2: and it was free. So we would go there, just
- 23:09Speaker 2: have a couple of beers and I would just be like,
- 23:10Speaker 2: where the big where are? And then it broke the
- 23:12Speaker 2: one time and he's like, I can't find anybody to
- 23:14Speaker 2: fix it. I was like, I got a guy called
- 23:16Speaker 2: it got it fixed, and he's like, dude, you are
- 23:19Speaker 2: pick a day you will drink for free. I was like,
- 23:21Speaker 2: careful what you wish for, and he took. He let
- 23:25Speaker 2: me drink for free and play that game for a
- 23:27Speaker 2: long time. Michaelangelo of course best Ninja Turtle Dude Budget.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I always played Leonardo when I was on there, but
- 23:36Speaker 1: donnad Tello was fun to play with on that one too,
- 23:39Speaker 1: And I don't know, it's uh. There's a guy that
- 23:43Speaker 1: was on Facebook marketplace selling Cruising Exotica the the Arcade game,
- 23:48Speaker 1: and he was, I mean practically giving it away, but
- 23:51Speaker 1: it had him a lot of the issues.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So there's a couple of local guys that actually fix
- 23:56Speaker 2: and create and do that with the With the arcade cabinets,
- 23:59Speaker 2: they're they're prettyweet. I'm very thankful that I don't have
- 24:02Speaker 2: space in my house or I would have a full
- 24:05Speaker 2: arcade room. And that's what I'm kind of worried about
- 24:09Speaker 2: when when the when the oldest or one of the
- 24:10Speaker 2: kids moves out, it's going to be an arcade in
- 24:12Speaker 2: my house, like especially with those Arcade one cabinets. The
- 24:16Speaker 2: only problem is it's going to be better because unless
- 24:19Speaker 2: I tear out a wall, which I'm thinking about doing,
- 24:21Speaker 2: if I have to put them in one of the
- 24:22Speaker 2: kids rooms when they move out, i'd have to go upstairs,
- 24:25Speaker 2: so it'd definitely be Arcade one because they're not that heavy.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Instead of the old school cabinet ones.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, dude, I'm telling you, like I said, I
- 24:33Speaker 1: got that claw machine, I would have. I'm already I
- 24:37Speaker 1: want to redo my basement. I have a bar down there,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but I don't drink, and like nobody comes over to drink,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and if they do, they usually bring their own shit. Yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 1: so I really want to redo it. And add I
- 24:48Speaker 1: really want a pinball machine.
- 24:50Speaker 2: D I was just saying that, and I was just
- 24:52Speaker 2: looking up on the phone. I'm pretty sure Arcade one
- 24:55Speaker 2: or Arcade what is it one up? Yeah, I think
- 24:58Speaker 2: they came out with a pinball machine.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Man, because if you look at any of the other ones,
- 25:02Speaker 1: at least locally, they're always like a couple grand man.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's insane, but they are so cool.
- 25:09Speaker 2: They must have sold out. They're not on the website
- 25:11Speaker 2: right now, but I'm fairly certain at one point they
- 25:13Speaker 2: had one, and I had all I could do not
- 25:14Speaker 2: to buy it, like the wife knows. And it's funny
- 25:17Speaker 2: because Arcade one up also has a claw machine now too.
- 25:20Speaker 1: What all right, Brandon, which one are you getting? Like
- 25:23Speaker 1: if you can?
- 25:23Speaker 3: That's funny. It's like I've been thinking about wanting to
- 25:26Speaker 3: spend my taxes lately, on something and I didn't realize
- 25:30Speaker 3: you could do these things, and so, oh my god,
- 25:32Speaker 3: look at these.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, if I was to buy
- 25:35Speaker 2: another one, it would either be like probably buck Hunter
- 25:39Speaker 2: they have on there, and it's like six hundred bucks.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I'd probably be that one. It's got the two guns.
- 25:43Speaker 2: The only problem is I've seen those guns break so
- 25:46Speaker 2: much to replace them and stuff. I guess on the
- 25:49Speaker 2: arcade one is pretty easy to do, but on the
- 25:51Speaker 2: real machines they're not. I have the Classic pac Man,
- 25:54Speaker 2: which comes with pac Man and Miss pac Man, and
- 25:55Speaker 2: I play a lot until one of the kids accidentally
- 25:58Speaker 2: kind of broke one of the things. So it's a
- 26:01Speaker 2: little hard to turn now.
- 26:02Speaker 1: But kids suck.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, those sons of bitches.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Dude. Everyone I see is always trying to sell one
- 26:09Speaker 1: of those Infinity tables. So I'm assuming those ones are
- 26:12Speaker 1: kind of booboo because I see those on Facebook, especially
- 26:15Speaker 1: in the Omaha area, so I guarantee that I.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Know somebody that had one. They do kind of suck
- 26:22Speaker 2: to play. I mean, if you're gonna play a board game,
- 26:24Speaker 2: isn't the nostalgia of playing a board game, like moving
- 26:27Speaker 2: the pieces, rolling the physical dice, Like, I don't know
- 26:31Speaker 2: how many times have you tried to play say Monopoly
- 26:33Speaker 2: or a game like that online versus other people kind
- 26:36Speaker 2: of sucks, you know what I mean. You can't flip
- 26:38Speaker 2: a table and rage out in front of somebody right
- 26:39Speaker 2: next to you. I don't want it.
- 26:41Speaker 1: That's how it is. I like to see my kids
- 26:43Speaker 1: cry in a lot of games. And at the thrist store,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I almost bought this because I thought it was unique,
- 26:49Speaker 1: but I didn't even know they actually made this is
- 26:50Speaker 1: who know? In the pool? Like they're waterproof carts that float,
- 26:56Speaker 1: and I was like, that's actually kind of unique. And
- 26:58Speaker 1: I was like, another way that I can make my
- 27:00Speaker 1: kids cry, and you know, and I was like, wow,
- 27:02Speaker 1: in the pool.
- 27:03Speaker 2: See, I would definitely in the pool. That's it. That's what.
- 27:08Speaker 1: That's a top tier card game. I love who Know?
- 27:12Speaker 1: The Arcade one? And I immediately see the Marvel versus
- 27:17Speaker 1: Capcom the X Men ninety seven edition. M oh but five.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Their selections kind of shitty right now? Yeah, I don't know. Oh,
- 27:28Speaker 2: you can filter them by a game. Maybe that's what
- 27:31Speaker 2: it is. Maybe I was stuck on the eighties. Maybe
- 27:32Speaker 2: I'm not an eighties guy. So if anybody's just wondering,
- 27:35Speaker 2: it's Arcade one up dot com. Go h Arcade one
- 27:38Speaker 2: ups dot com, slash fridge. It's not going to work,
- 27:42Speaker 2: then go to the real thing. But it says. Eighties
- 27:43Speaker 2: is just pac Man in the Classic eighty one Deluxe
- 27:46Speaker 2: Arcade Machine. If they had Galagha, that'd be worth it.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Nineties they only have Mortal Kombat two, an NBA JAM
- 27:52Speaker 2: Deluxe Edition. That'd be if I had. If I had
- 27:55Speaker 2: boys and people that would actually play me in NBA Jam,
- 27:59Speaker 2: that would be pretty so. And then Infinity Tables. That's
- 28:02Speaker 2: all they have right now. Or am I missing something?
- 28:04Speaker 1: No, I'm seeing Wheel four ten. I'm in the at
- 28:07Speaker 1: least I'm in the Deluxe, the Deluxe Arcade Ones, which
- 28:11Speaker 1: I guess come with the risers.
- 28:14Speaker 2: The risers are nice. I made my own because if not,
- 28:16Speaker 2: it's kind of awkward unless you're somebody that does good
- 28:18Speaker 2: work on your knees. It's that's what I back. The stools, though,
- 28:25Speaker 2: they do have the stools which you can buy on
- 28:27Speaker 2: which is kind of cool to have a stool that
- 28:29Speaker 2: matches the thing. Brandon, You're going to buy the Fast
- 28:33Speaker 2: and the Furious Deluxe Arcade Machine. Aren't you.
- 28:35Speaker 3: So I was looking at a mind would be either
- 28:37Speaker 3: a cruising USA let's see, uh, Mario karts or like
- 28:42Speaker 3: the Jurassic Park shooter one that was always fun to me,
- 28:46Speaker 3: but they're expensive. Is out like fifteen thousand dollars or
- 28:49Speaker 3: something like that.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a dude selling like Time Crisis or
- 28:52Speaker 1: whatever the hell it was that that was a shooter
- 28:54Speaker 1: one too.
- 28:56Speaker 2: They have they have an arcade one up has a
- 28:58Speaker 2: Time Crisis Deluxe for seven fifty. I'm telling you, though,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I forgot this one. This one would be one that
- 29:05Speaker 2: I forgot that. This was on my top tier list
- 29:08Speaker 2: was Golden Tea. It was the thirty fifth anniversary machine,
- 29:11Speaker 2: so it came with like all the additions of Golden Tea.
- 29:14Speaker 2: That would be the one. And you don't really like
- 29:16Speaker 2: the golf by yourself, but I could sit there and
- 29:18Speaker 2: play Golden Tea by myself and have lorm one. What's
- 29:23Speaker 2: that hapened?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Even the bowling one with the same wheel.
- 29:27Speaker 2: This one came with Golden Tea ninety seven, ninety eight,
- 29:31Speaker 2: ninety nine, two thousand, and then Golden Tea.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Rampage. That would be a good one too.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I really want to buy Golden Tea It's
- 29:44Speaker 2: got shuffle shot as well, and world class Bowling Golden
- 29:48Speaker 2: t three d as well were the other ones that
- 29:50Speaker 2: I missed. What's shuffle Shot?
- 29:55Speaker 1: Then Hubboard one San Francisco Rush?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Did they ever make road Rash? And an arcade machine?
- 30:03Speaker 2: I don't feel like that would have been pretty cool.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm looking at the What's like local here for sale
- 30:08Speaker 1: and there's a guy that's selling his old school tapper machine.
- 30:13Speaker 1: This thing looks sick too, grand Holy moly, you're out here,
- 30:18Speaker 1: fucking man that.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I could get this this Miss pac Man game for
- 30:22Speaker 3: my wife, dude, for Mother's Station'd be.
- 30:24Speaker 2: So happy Miss pac Man that I have in that
- 30:26Speaker 2: arcade one up. It's pretty sweet. It's hey good. The
- 30:29Speaker 2: only thing I don't like compared to the other pac
- 30:32Speaker 2: Man is when the ghosts go invisible. That really throws
- 30:35Speaker 2: off my game. Throws it off because you.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Don't know where they go.
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm a pattern guy, and the next thing you know,
- 30:40Speaker 2: you're just there and poop. Then you rode there.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Brandon, you should uh get her the machine for Mother's Day,
- 30:48Speaker 1: but also get her at the costume and then at
- 30:51Speaker 1: night she'll be so excited that she played the game
- 30:53Speaker 1: and everything, and then just paint your Wiener as one
- 30:56Speaker 1: of the ghosts and just a ghost.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Jesus Christ.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I think that's brilliant, Honey, it could work. You can.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Choose a different color each time. It'll be a surprise.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You'd be like, oh my god, Oh my god, I
- 31:11Speaker 1: hope it's blue. I hope it's blue. I hope it's
- 31:13Speaker 1: and if not, the balls will be.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Another million dollar idea.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I get somebody's gonna say it retin link. If you
- 31:22Speaker 1: guys do this a couple of.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Weeks, we're gonna be Donnie. Donnie's gonna see this first,
- 31:28Speaker 2: and he's gonna be like, actually, I've already done this.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Here's a link to my video.
- 31:33Speaker 1: He's like, do you guys remember the bop It?
- 31:37Speaker 2: What was the other game with the like the thing
- 31:41Speaker 2: that had the like the balls on the end and
- 31:44Speaker 2: you like cling them together. It was like just a
- 31:46Speaker 2: basic plastic toy. That was it we're talking about. I
- 31:51Speaker 2: don't like you kind of like go back and forth
- 31:53Speaker 2: with him and then you have to sync up and
- 31:55Speaker 2: click them.
- 31:56Speaker 1: That one was a good one too. There was I mean,
- 31:58Speaker 1: I forget though. There was a whole wall, all of
- 32:00Speaker 1: them there's probably double that now, if not triple yeah,
- 32:04Speaker 1: we need to pay to visit.
- 32:05Speaker 2: We should.
- 32:06Speaker 1: We should check it out, Brendana, do you know what
- 32:07Speaker 1: we're talking about? Okay, So there was I visited a
- 32:12Speaker 1: friend who was in the adult industry and I visited
- 32:15Speaker 1: his house. It was actually the female's house, but they
- 32:20Speaker 1: they all share this this mansion type of thing, and
- 32:24Speaker 1: as soon as you walk in, there is a one
- 32:27Speaker 1: of those little cubicle.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Wait, display case, yeah, display cases, but it's probably like,
- 32:34Speaker 4: oh god, twenty cubes, but it's a whole bunch of
- 32:38Speaker 4: different board games that are glued to butt plugs.
- 32:43Speaker 1: So that was face.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Were they worried you were going to take them with
- 32:47Speaker 3: you or.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Like no, no, it's just it's onlike display like they're
- 32:51Speaker 1: proud of. Like, that's just it's all lit up with
- 32:53Speaker 1: LEDs and everything so you can see it. And one
- 32:57Speaker 1: of the most famous ones was a bop it, so
- 33:00Speaker 1: I really wanted to see that one, but yeah, it
- 33:03Speaker 1: was a I got offered to be a ref in
- 33:05Speaker 1: one of their videos. The very next day. I was
- 33:09Speaker 1: at a work conference, mind you, but they were like, hey,
- 33:11Speaker 1: you want to come back. The next day we hit
- 33:12Speaker 1: the referee. Actually he backed out and I was like, oh,
- 33:15Speaker 1: you probably don't have my size for a referee outfit.
- 33:18Speaker 1: They go to their closet and this thing is massive
- 33:21Speaker 1: with like there's like a chicken costume, there's like, I mean,
- 33:23Speaker 1: just the most random costumes in this thing. And they
- 33:26Speaker 1: pulled out what looked like a foot locker costume in
- 33:29Speaker 1: my size, and I was like, oh me damned. I
- 33:32Speaker 1: was like, this is gonna be on the internet. It's
- 33:34Speaker 1: gonna be on their net forever. Right, I'm a woos
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to pass. And then I was like,
- 33:39Speaker 1: what am I gonna have to do? Like anyways, and
- 33:41Speaker 1: they were just like, you know, just be yourself, but
- 33:44Speaker 1: watch them do their thing and just get like right
- 33:46Speaker 1: up in there and just look at the camera and
- 33:49Speaker 1: give some commentary. And I'm like, oh my god. I
- 33:53Speaker 1: was like, this is really sin city and I'm being
- 33:55Speaker 1: tempted by the devil and again, gonna have to pass,
- 33:59Speaker 1: but thank you for the opportunity. But yeah, that was.
- 34:02Speaker 2: If anybody wants to see that video, and he did
- 34:05Speaker 2: do it. The link is in the description.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And what was wild is I we were drinking and
- 34:09Speaker 1: I had to go to the bathroom and I get
- 34:11Speaker 1: to their bathroom and there's just polaroids of people's genitalia
- 34:17Speaker 1: everywhere on the wall. And so whenever I got done,
- 34:19Speaker 1: they're like, hey, did you you take a picture? And
- 34:23Speaker 1: I was like, no, I didn't take a picture. And
- 34:24Speaker 1: they're like, take a damn picture, you'd be all right,
- 34:26Speaker 1: And I was like, nah, you went to take a
- 34:28Speaker 1: picture of these laluncus titties. I'll give you those little
- 34:31Speaker 1: pepperoni nipples all yours. Anything else going to cast you
- 34:35Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety nine?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Every time I play a board game it PTSD triggers
- 34:45Speaker 1: me a little bit, but I'm like, hell yeah, I
- 34:48Speaker 1: can't wait to see what they have now. That wall's
- 34:51Speaker 1: got to be like sixty cubes deep.
- 34:55Speaker 2: It's probably a dedicated room, now, got it?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Well? In the the inventor of bop It reached out
- 35:01Speaker 1: to them. They like common stuff. I love it. Shout
- 35:08Speaker 1: out to Donnie.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Out Donnie, friend of the show. I did, Uh, this
- 35:13Speaker 2: has nothing to do with plugs, but potentially my butt.
- 35:16Speaker 2: I pulled one of the best moves ever. And I'm
- 35:18Speaker 2: super excited about this, and I know that I have
- 35:20Speaker 2: everybody's attention ripped one in the truck, let it just
- 35:25Speaker 2: aloft it's stunk, and then shut the door. So now
- 35:28Speaker 2: when the entire family gets to get loaded into this
- 35:31Speaker 2: truck in a couple hours, that smell is still going
- 35:33Speaker 2: to be in there. Starting to get a little bit
- 35:34Speaker 2: warmer out, and by warmer, I mean it might hit
- 35:36Speaker 2: the forties today, so hopefully then the sun's actually out,
- 35:39Speaker 2: they're gonna walk in and be like woo. But they
- 35:41Speaker 2: were there. They're cooking some stuff again. It's Easter, so
- 35:44Speaker 2: they're doing some cooking, and obviously we died the eggs
- 35:47Speaker 2: and everything. So when you open the fridge it smells
- 35:49Speaker 2: like hard boiled eggs. And I rebped one and then
- 35:52Speaker 2: open the fridge and it stunk. The youngest like, oh
- 35:56Speaker 2: my god, that's so bad. I was like sorry, I
- 35:59Speaker 2: was just gonna go I have an egg, but I'll
- 36:00Speaker 2: shut the door real quick. And her, the youngest and
- 36:03Speaker 2: the wife kind of both looked at me like was
- 36:05Speaker 2: it the eggs. It's like that's for you to decide,
- 36:07Speaker 2: And then I just walked out and you could just
- 36:09Speaker 2: hear him going, oh my god, it's getting worse. But
- 36:12Speaker 2: we were playing, uh, we were playing what the hell's
- 36:15Speaker 2: that game apples to apples the other day? Right, I
- 36:18Speaker 2: get a card and it says number two, and I'm like,
- 36:21Speaker 2: this is great. And I read it and it says,
- 36:23Speaker 2: when the yum yum, when the yum young. What the
- 36:26Speaker 2: hell does it say when the young yum hits your
- 36:29Speaker 2: tum tum and comes out your bum bum or something
- 36:31Speaker 2: like that. Right, is a description of the card, and
- 36:33Speaker 2: I was like, that's an instant winner. Had the time
- 36:36Speaker 2: it right, play to the right kid, And they did
- 36:38Speaker 2: that and they read the description. Oh my god, I
- 36:41Speaker 2: forgot how funny that game really is.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I played a board game in a minute. We bought
- 36:48Speaker 1: the youngest bought cranium. The other threat store we went to.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's called thrift World, but it's kind of like a
- 36:55Speaker 1: they didn't have the thrift store vibe like we went
- 36:57Speaker 1: to the first one. The first one was a pretty
- 37:01Speaker 1: big shithole, you know, but had some good stuff and
- 37:05Speaker 1: cheap prices. But the other one was like everything's like
- 37:08Speaker 1: almost eight bucks or or you know what I mean.
- 37:11Speaker 1: It's like they looked and it had that kind of
- 37:14Speaker 1: vibe like it was very clean. You know. I'm just
- 37:17Speaker 1: kind of like, you need a little.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Bit of some clutter. You gotta have a like a
- 37:21Speaker 2: little hidden gym. It's almost time where we are to
- 37:25Speaker 2: go thrift in again, because the place that we like
- 37:27Speaker 2: to do the thrift in is in a college town.
- 37:29Speaker 2: So college is going to be out in a little bit.
- 37:31Speaker 2: So you know, a lot of these kids aren't going
- 37:33Speaker 2: to buy a storage unit. They don't want to take
- 37:35Speaker 2: all the shit home, so they are gonna thrift their
- 37:38Speaker 2: shit for cheap. And that's when I really try to
- 37:40Speaker 2: go find just some decent, you know, funny shirts, some
- 37:44Speaker 2: decent board games. Like you said, like, you'll go and
- 37:46Speaker 2: find some brand new board games that these kids aren't
- 37:48Speaker 2: like whatever, I don't give me a dollar for it.
- 37:50Speaker 2: And you're like, oh shit, we played a ticket to
- 37:53Speaker 2: Ride yet, No, what is that. It's one of the
- 37:58Speaker 2: most popular board games, and we love it. Between this
- 38:02Speaker 2: and Katan, we love the two of them. It's a
- 38:04Speaker 2: little we bought it. We ended up buying it new,
- 38:07Speaker 2: but it was it was like a pretty good deal
- 38:09Speaker 2: around Christmas time, and so more or less, what you
- 38:11Speaker 2: do is each player has to draw like so many
- 38:15Speaker 2: cards and then you get you get a path. It's
- 38:17Speaker 2: like a map, and there's like all these like train routes,
- 38:19Speaker 2: and you so say, it's got all these cities where
- 38:22Speaker 2: where would be a stop or a hub or whatever
- 38:24Speaker 2: on the train. So say you have to go from
- 38:26Speaker 2: LA to New York. You have to then get cards
- 38:31Speaker 2: and build up the track because they're all like different
- 38:33Speaker 2: colors and different stuff. There's wild and you have to
- 38:35Speaker 2: build it up. And if you get complete the path,
- 38:38Speaker 2: then you get whatever is on the card for points.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Everyone that you don't get you actually lose the points.
- 38:46Speaker 2: And like I said, it sounds complicated, but the kids
- 38:49Speaker 2: love it, I mean, and I think it's one of
- 38:51Speaker 2: the few games because we have five that you can
- 38:53Speaker 2: actually play five players. It's fun. Like I said, if
- 38:55Speaker 2: you ever see a copy at a thrift store, definitely
- 38:56Speaker 2: buy it. If not, like I said, it's one of
- 38:58Speaker 2: the highest rated board games out there.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I can see why too, because it's rated forty or
- 39:03Speaker 1: it's that forty four dollars price point, and I wonder,
- 39:06Speaker 1: I don't buy it if these games aren't nineteen ninety
- 39:08Speaker 1: nine or less. I ain't look at my cheap as we.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Got it for twenty five bucks on a sale like
- 39:14Speaker 2: pre Christmas or whatever. So I was like it's because
- 39:16Speaker 2: we've been We've been looking at it and looking at
- 39:18Speaker 2: it and looking at it, and I'm telling you what
- 39:19Speaker 2: it was. So just on board game geek dot com
- 39:23Speaker 2: it's a seven point four out of ten with almost
- 39:25Speaker 2: one hundred thousand votes. Dang, it's it's fun man, Like
- 39:31Speaker 2: I said in the games Fly, pretty decent, Like I said,
- 39:33Speaker 2: are are It's it's two to five players range eight up,
- 39:37Speaker 2: so it fits perfect because we're nine, you know what
- 39:39Speaker 2: I mean. Our youngest is nine and all the way up.
- 39:41Speaker 2: And it takes about anywhere from probably i'd say forty
- 39:44Speaker 2: to forty to maybe sixty minutes to complete a full
- 39:47Speaker 2: game if people are kind of dragging their feet a
- 39:48Speaker 2: little bit. But it's fun. I definitely would check it out.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I love imagine how fun it would be just to
- 39:54Speaker 2: get like friends, Like if we all got together and
- 39:56Speaker 2: we're like, hey, let's do some gardening and let's play
- 39:59Speaker 2: a couple bore games, Like how fun it would I
- 40:02Speaker 2: love We try to play at least once a week.
- 40:05Speaker 1: I love Yazi. I would be down to and uno
- 40:11Speaker 1: Yatzi dude, like I love Monopoly, but sometimes it takes
- 40:15Speaker 1: so long. But sorry is another one trouble dude.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Those nobody will play Monopoly because it it turns pretty
- 40:24Speaker 2: quick in our house. You know, the one person makes
- 40:27Speaker 2: a deal, then the next one. Next thing you know,
- 40:28Speaker 2: people are teaming up and it's like you guys are savages.
- 40:32Speaker 1: How about Mancola love Mancla.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Actually I just challenged the house the other day. Nobody
- 40:37Speaker 2: likes to play against me. Kind of weird with numbers
- 40:39Speaker 2: and the way that things can land and stuff. So
- 40:41Speaker 2: I gotta got a little bit of a strat that
- 40:43Speaker 2: if you don't if you don't block me on a
- 40:46Speaker 2: move in the first my first three moves I destroy
- 40:48Speaker 2: you see.
- 40:49Speaker 1: That's and like nobody plays me on Battleship or Connect four.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I love me some Connect four.
- 40:54Speaker 3: How about yourself? Anybody ever play with you too? Is
- 40:57Speaker 3: it just me by myself?
- 41:01Speaker 2: I'm still undefeated.
- 41:02Speaker 3: I love those board games. I love board games because
- 41:05Speaker 3: you can go as simple as you want, Like you
- 41:07Speaker 3: brought up sorry, I mean you brought.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Up you know.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I mean these are the most simple You can play war,
- 41:11Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like the most simple games
- 41:13Speaker 3: in the world, and they could be really fun. Or
- 41:15Speaker 3: you can play a game like though what it was
- 41:17Speaker 3: it Settlers of Katan that you brought up. And I've
- 41:19Speaker 3: always been too afraid to crack open because I know
- 41:21Speaker 3: it's like a three week deal. Like, it's not like
- 41:23Speaker 3: something you're gonna get done into a night.
- 41:25Speaker 2: You know, time's pretty quick. Yeaeah no, it's yeah no,
- 41:29Speaker 2: because that's that's kind of how I was like, Oh,
- 41:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna be waiting. No, you can. You can crush
- 41:33Speaker 2: out a game in less than an hour?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeap. Like I always liked Risk, but I
- 41:37Speaker 1: was a nerd and I always I was very good
- 41:41Speaker 1: at Risk.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Love that game.
- 41:43Speaker 3: There's a board game I have upstairs that's a RPG
- 41:47Speaker 3: or not RPG, but it's basically kind of like one.
- 41:49Speaker 3: It's a Civil War battle re enactment game, and so
- 41:51Speaker 3: you like start the battles and it's just dice from there.
- 41:54Speaker 3: It's all just really it's no strategy to it.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Really share the deeds in the text chain.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Really fun.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I would be interested really.
- 42:04Speaker 2: So I looked up geek the top fifty must have
- 42:09Speaker 2: board games list. This is a very old list, but
- 42:13Speaker 2: I think it's still somewhat prevalent, and they had Katan
- 42:15Speaker 2: number one. Ticket to ride to Kerasony Karrasiny. Oh what
- 42:22Speaker 2: the hell that is? That was number three? Dominion was
- 42:27Speaker 2: four Stone Age, five, Lords of Water Deep six, Lost Cities,
- 42:32Speaker 2: the Board Game seven, King of Tokyo, Corios, Small World,
- 42:38Speaker 2: or the Top ten. I haven't heard of like any
- 42:40Speaker 2: of them me neither.
- 42:41Speaker 1: What happened to these old fashioned ones? Am? I just
- 42:43Speaker 1: my poor? What's going on? I get these old schools.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I like operation, like what's Twisters? I was too fat
- 42:51Speaker 1: for Twister all the time. I don't like Twister.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I volunteer to spin the thing when we play twister. Now,
- 42:57Speaker 2: I'm like, you know what, I'll do one and the
- 42:59Speaker 2: next thing. You know, it's like cool. I can't walk
- 43:00Speaker 2: for the next four days because I tried playing Twister
- 43:04Speaker 2: to the boss.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Oh now that my prize possession. Though, that's a little
- 43:10Speaker 1: bit difficult to play sometimes again, everybody like to be
- 43:13Speaker 1: involved because it takes a little bit.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Jumanji never played so good. I bet it is.
- 43:21Speaker 1: At the time too, brother, it is. We flew.
- 43:26Speaker 2: All right? Well, yeah that's a wrap. I uh looked
- 43:29Speaker 2: at the clock for the first time. This flew by
- 43:31Speaker 2: a little bit of everything there, fellas. Hopefully you have
- 43:34Speaker 2: a good rest of your echter and enjoy Jesus's resurrection
- 43:39Speaker 2: and all of the bunnies. Make sure though you don't
- 43:42Speaker 2: get a little too much gardening time and end up
- 43:45Speaker 2: buying your kids a bunny because you feel like that's
- 43:48Speaker 2: a good idea because I've had a friend that did
- 43:49Speaker 2: that one time. And apparently bunnies are super hard to
- 43:52Speaker 2: take care of and they don't lay eggs like chickens.
- 43:55Speaker 2: So but either way, anybody listening. For whatever reason, sometimes
- 43:58Speaker 2: I forget that there's people pople that actually will listen
- 44:01Speaker 2: to this. I just feel like it's just the three
- 44:02Speaker 2: of us just having a conversation and that's a good thing.
- 44:05Speaker 2: But enjoy the day and all of the gardening and
- 44:08Speaker 2: all of the candy in the house. Sorry to all
- 44:10Speaker 2: of the kids, but just remember Dad tax is a
- 44:13Speaker 2: real thing. We're teaching you that whatever you do, whatever
- 44:16Speaker 2: you get on Easter, thirty percent of it comes back
- 44:20Speaker 2: to Dad. That is called the Dad tax. Dad's in
- 44:22Speaker 2: a little extra giggly mood today, it might jump up
- 44:25Speaker 2: to thirty five or forty percent of the candy. So
- 44:28Speaker 2: I might want to you might want to stash it,
- 44:30Speaker 2: because you know, having a stash is good, sometimes allegedly
- 44:33Speaker 2: so all right, that's all we got. Enjoy the rest
- 44:35Speaker 2: of your day, You're week, your month, your year, Bye bye.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Praise it and blaze it.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Knocking up.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Who's there?
- 44:43Speaker 3: It's the podcast who have Toys.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Stay out of my fish.
- 44:47Speaker 3: We ready to explore. Gotta tail a tale gonna make
- 44:51Speaker 3: you laugh and make you.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Smile, So fuck upside.
- 44:54Speaker 3: It's gonna be teing deep into your face with a
- 45:00Speaker 3: PRIs
