Malcolm Chapter 65 - The Laird's Vision
In which Malcolm is summoned to the sickbed of his old master, where he watches over the laird’s troubled and fevered moments until the quiet shadow of death falls upon him. Afterwards, Malcolm encounters the piper Duncan, whose sombre forebodings mingle with the snow and darkness settling softly around them.
