Latest / The Immutable Word / EP049 When Nations Fall: Epstein Files, Antichrist, and the Mystery of Iniquity - The New Testament Mysteries PT 2
Transcript
- 0:00Trump ran a platform that drew in thousands and thousands and thousands of Bible-believing
- 0:05Christians, or Christians, professing Christians, right?
- 0:08And there's a lot of people that are looking to Trump to save America.
- 0:12But what this has all revealed to me with this Epstein file thing is that there
- 0:17is evil that's several layers deep.
- 0:21And the Bible-believing Christian ought to know the difference.
- 0:24And there's a lot of Christians that are turning to Christian nationalism because of Trump and MAGA.
- 0:30And as a Bible-believing Christian, this is not our world.
- 0:34Welcome back to The Mutable Word. We are back for another episode.
- 0:37We've been covering the seven mysteries.
- 0:40We had covered the first four, which were the mystery of godliness,
- 0:45Christ in you, body of Christ, Israel's blindness.
- 0:49And perhaps we'll do a quick recap, Robert, here in just a few minutes.
- 0:53But this episode is going to cover the remaining three, which will be covering
- 0:57the rapture, mystery of iniquity, and Babylon the Great.
- 1:02So if you haven't listened to the previous episode, which is,
- 1:06or I am guessing again, episode 48, I think.
- 1:09Whatever the previous episode is, we did cover this in detail over the first four.
- 1:14Do you want to do a recap of this, Robert, of the previous four,
- 1:20just really quickly before we roll into the remaining three?
- 1:23Or how do you want to go about it? Yeah, actually, I wanted to ask you a question
- 1:26before we started, just because the last few days have been kind of significant in the political world.
- 1:33Wanted to get your thoughts on the Epstein files.
- 1:37My thoughts on the Epstein files. I wasn't really prepared for that question.
- 1:43Well, the reason I brought it up is just because I've been, there's a couple
- 1:47podcasts I've been listening to.
- 1:50And, you know, I'm not going to go into super, you know, any kind of detailed commentary on it.
- 1:56But I just want to know, because I know that we're going to have some listeners
- 1:59that are curious about what the thoughts are. And I do have a couple thoughts.
- 2:03I just wanted to kind of summarize a couple thoughts about it,
- 2:08and I think it might generate a little bit of a conversation.
- 2:11Only because I believe it's relevant to one of the mysteries we'll be talking about.
- 2:17It's the spirit of Antichrist and, I believe, the last one, the mystery Babylon. Oh, interesting.
- 2:22Okay. What I'll say is this, because I mean, you know, this show isn't dedicated to it.
- 2:27I really don't want to deep dive into it, to be honest with you.
- 2:30But I do want to, I want to encourage some of our listeners to listen if they're
- 2:35really interested and they want to get really deep in the weeds or get into
- 2:39the rabbit hole, or they just want to get some other Bible-believing stuff.
- 2:44Perspective about it. So one, if you want to get into the deep dive,
- 2:49if you really want to go down the rabbit hole and listen to all the conspiracies
- 2:55from a good Bible-believing perspective, right?
- 2:57I'm not going to tell you to run to some of these other podcasts that,
- 3:01you know, it may not be safe for the family, let's put it that way.
- 3:05But one is The Soul Trap. That's Brother Joel Tillis, Pastor Joel Tillis.
- 3:10He's actually done a series, I think of about two or three, they have one whole
- 3:15episode on just the Epstein files talking about some of the things that were
- 3:20found in the Epstein files.
- 3:22And then he has like two or three or four other episodes where they detail certain
- 3:28nuances that are connected or related to the Epstein files.
- 3:31So if you really want to get a lot of detail about, you know,
- 3:35and then again, this is from a Bible-believing King James dispensational point of view.
- 3:40Okay. This is not us, you know, recommending a channel that we,
- 3:44that I wouldn't listen to. Let's put it that way.
- 3:46Then the other one, which is more kind of a, of a high level commentary is,
- 3:50is Randy Keener's unmovable apologetics.
- 3:53They just did one this morning on the Epstein files. I think it's very appropriate.
- 3:58And the only reason, but somebody's probably listening to this.
- 4:00I'm like, what in the world, Robert, why are you bringing up Epstein files? Right.
- 4:04Right. And, and this is what, this is what my thought my head was,
- 4:08was number one, you know, we live in a post-truth generation.
- 4:13You know, everybody always says, well, you know, you're in a post-liberal generation
- 4:18or Christian, you know, post-modernist.
- 4:21I believe we live in a post-truth generation. People are not interested in the truth.
- 4:27And, you know, even Paul wrote to Timothy that in the latter days,
- 4:31you know, that these heresies and false doctrines and doctrines of devils would
- 4:36rise up and there would be kind of an influx of apostasy.
- 4:40Well, what leads to that? And I do believe we're kind of at a crossroads in
- 4:43our nation. I'm sure, Alan, you know, if you were to think in the last,
- 4:48six years, maybe even eight or nine years since 2016.
- 4:52I mean, wouldn't you agree that there's been like some really crazy upheavals
- 4:57in the political, cultural, ideological world that we live in as a Christian?
- 5:03Oh, yeah. I mean, I've really never seen anything like what we've seen in the
- 5:09last, you're right, 10 years, you know, 2016, especially 2020 on.
- 5:15And what we're seeing today. Nothing like it.
- 5:18I think I've mentioned before that I thought the 90s were pretty bad times under
- 5:25the Clinton. All the crazy stuff that happened.
- 5:27Yeah, but it doesn't hold a candle to what we're seeing today and have seen
- 5:33just in the last five or ten years. It's been rather extreme.
- 5:38What I was going to say about this is number one, why would a Christian I'm
- 5:43not saying you should have an unhealthy interest in it. That's not what I'm saying.
- 5:47I'm not even saying, you know, I don't want somebody to get,
- 5:49you know, obsessed with the Epstein files and try to dig into it.
- 5:53But why would it matter to a Bible-believing Christian? And this is what I was thinking.
- 5:57You know, the Bible says in Ephesians 5, verse 13, it says, but all things that
- 6:03are reproved are made manifest by the light, for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
- 6:10So, Ephesians 5, 13, Paul is writing, he says, look, manifest just means to be revealed.
- 6:15I believe it's the job of every Christian to know the difference between right and wrong.
- 6:21I believe it's important for us to be able to identify what is truth and what's a lie.
- 6:26Now, I'm not saying that you uncover all the conspiracy theories and things
- 6:31like that, but when you see, and this is why I was thinking about this.
- 6:37You know, for a long time, you know, they, you know, Trump was trying to deny,
- 6:41of course, he ran a platform saying that they were going to reveal what was
- 6:45going to be on the Epstein files.
- 6:46And then, then they started saying, well, there is no Epstein files.
- 6:49And then they said, well, there's no such thing as a list.
- 6:51And now all of a sudden you have millions of files that have been published
- 6:55and it's not even all of it.
- 6:57But so, you know, in everybody that, you know, Trump ran a platform that drew
- 7:02in thousands and thousands and thousands of Bible-believing Christians or Christians,
- 7:07professing Christians, right?
- 7:08And there's a lot of people that are looking to Trump to save America.
- 7:12Yep. And so, but what this is all revealed to me with this Epstein file thing
- 7:18is that there are, there is evil that are, that's several layers deep.
- 7:24And the Bible-believing Christian ought to know the difference.
- 7:27And there's a lot of Christians that are turning to Christian nationalism because of Trump and MAGA.
- 7:33And as a Bible-believing Christian, this is not our world.
- 7:37We're here, we're supposed to be as good law-abiding citizens as possible.
- 7:41We're supposed to obey the laws that be, but the Bible says in Acts chapter
- 7:465, we ought to obey God rather than the men.
- 7:49Well, the Christian's job is to manifest and expose evil and darkness, right?
- 7:55Well, that's what that revelation is. So.
- 7:59You know, when you think about the things that are going on,
- 8:02and especially the whole context of the Epstein files, I mean,
- 8:07you're talking about sex trafficking, things that have been going on for decades.
- 8:11And then, you know, there's all kinds of leaders and people that have been implicated
- 8:15in it. People are losing their jobs and so forth.
- 8:18But I'm afraid that there's not going to be really any justice in this lifetime
- 8:22for the people that are involved in that junk.
- 8:26But as a Christian, you ought to know the difference. And if you're trying to
- 8:28hang your hat on Trump, I believe that you're going to usher in the spirit of
- 8:34the Antichrist and the one-world government and the one-world religion that
- 8:38I believe is going to ride on the coattails.
- 8:40Because this is really just the beginning of the destruction of America.
- 8:46America's been on a downward spiral for a long time, you know.
- 8:49But, you know, this is what I do know. the Bible says this, or Jesus Christ
- 8:55said this in Luke 17 too, he says that there's going to be offenses that come.
- 8:59But in verse two, he says, it were better for him that a millstone be hanged
- 9:04about his neck and cast into the sea than that he should offend one of these little ones.
- 9:10In God's, in his journal of justice,
- 9:15his ledger, the things that
- 9:18these people were involved in for decades and decades and decades
- 9:21as far as god was concerned they ought to have a rock hung
- 9:23around their neck and drop to the bottom of the sea yeah but we know in this
- 9:28life that these you know this justice isn't going to be served there's people
- 9:32going to probably lose their jobs probably people going to be humiliated social
- 9:36media wise but there's there's a lot of people that should have been arrested
- 9:40that are probably aren't going to get arrested as a result of this right,
- 9:44Yeah, unfortunately. And the reason—yeah, go ahead, I'm sorry.
- 9:47No, no, I was just agreeing with you. It's just unfortunate. But yes.
- 9:53So, one of the things the Bible says in Revelation 18, 11 through 13,
- 9:58it's after the destruction of the, you know, the whore of Babylon in Revelation 17 and 18.
- 10:05So that's the destruction, the post-destruction, and there's leaders that have
- 10:10been committing spiritual fornication, idolatry, with this one-world globalist religion.
- 10:17And the Bible says in verses 11 through 13 of Revelation 18,
- 10:21it says, And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her,
- 10:25for no man buyeth their merchandise any more.
- 10:28The merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones,
- 10:32and of pearls and fine linen, purple and silk and scarlet,
- 10:35and all thion wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels
- 10:40of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, and odors,
- 10:46and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and the fine flour,
- 10:51and wheat and beasts and sheep and horses and chariots.
- 10:55And then it says this, and slaves and souls of men.
- 10:59That means the merchandise that the whore of Babylon has been indulging in.
- 11:07You know, aside from all those riches and precious metals and precious jewels
- 11:11and stuff, in addition to all that are slaves and the souls of men.
- 11:16And if that doesn't describe exactly the kind of stuff that's related to this
- 11:20Epstein files. I don't know what is.
- 11:22But what the Bible tells us is that just because we eradicated chattel slavery
- 11:29after Civil War, and then prior to that, England did it,
- 11:34they had outlawed and made it illegal for slavery, doesn't mean that they eliminated
- 11:38slavery. Slavery still exists in this world.
- 11:41It's just a different type. And that means all the way through until Christ
- 11:45comes back, this kind of behavior is still going to exist.
- 11:49And, you know, the Bible also says in Psalm 94, verse 20, it says,
- 11:52Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law,
- 11:59saying that the throne of iniquity frames mischief by law.
- 12:05That's legislating morality. That's legislating wickedness. And that's why justice
- 12:11will never be served, because there's a throne of wickedness and iniquity that exists.
- 12:16You know, when we talk about this next mystery, especially the mystery of the
- 12:20Antichrist, you know, the mystery of iniquity, he says it was working in the
- 12:25first century when Paul was writing that.
- 12:27And when Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil, he was tempted by the devil.
- 12:32The devil offered him all the kingdoms of the earth. He said, they're mine.
- 12:36And the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4.4 that he's the God of this world.
- 12:40You know what I mean? So anyway, I was just thinking about all this stuff with
- 12:44the Epstein files. You know, we're not covering it.
- 12:48You can literally, if you understood what was revealed in those files and the
- 12:54names that were popped up in those files, you're talking about that you could
- 12:58cover 50 years worth of stuff that's happened.
- 13:03This is by far probably the greatest conspiracy of our generation.
- 13:08And I'm telling you, man, there's so much wickedness involved.
- 13:11It just shows us that the devil truly is the god of this world,
- 13:16and he's going to let his minions do exactly what he wants until he brings in this wicked,
- 13:23vile kingdom where he's going to rule and reign, call himself God, and be worshipped.
- 13:30And there's a lot of satanic stuff that was tied to this.
- 13:33And man, I just can't even believe. Anyway, I was just one to bring that up
- 13:37just because, you know, as a Bible believer, I would say, you know,
- 13:41I don't, you know, I wouldn't encourage anybody to delve into the.
- 13:45Nauseating details of the Epstein files, but I would say you better be cognizant of it.
- 13:50You should be, as a Bible believer, understand that the implication runs very
- 13:57deep in our government runs very deep at high levels of people that you're entrusting your liberty to.
- 14:05And as Bible believers, man, you better realize this world is not your home,
- 14:09and Trump is not your savior, and he's not going to save America.
- 14:13That he may be implicated, because I think his name showed up several thousand,
- 14:17almost 5,000 times in the Epstein files.
- 14:22So, regardless, it's a pretty wicked thing.
- 14:25Yeah, the whole thing is satanic. Like, I really haven't delved into it.
- 14:29Like, it's on the media, but you only get a small piece of it.
- 14:33And, of course, you know it's going to go really, really deep.
- 14:37And, you know, you're alluding to it.
- 14:40You said it. Is this people that we're entrusting our liberties to or we think
- 14:44that are going to come in and bring America back to where it was before,
- 14:49you know, making it a Christian nation?
- 14:53The thing is that as deep as this stuff goes, there is no party separating.
- 14:58Everybody's part of this, you know, they're probably part of this elite group.
- 15:02I know I'm getting to conspiracy land here a little bit, but I think there's a lot of merit to it.
- 15:07I believe there's a lot that can
- 15:09be said about it. And maybe this isn't a platform or episode, obviously.
- 15:13Well, I mean, it's a little bit related to this next mystery.
- 15:17I mean, honestly, because, you know, those conspiracies do exist.
- 15:22There was conspiracy to crucify Christ. There was a conspiracy to murder Paul.
- 15:27You know what I'm saying? There's conspiracies all throughout the Old Testament.
- 15:30You know, conspiracies exist. And, you know, the bottom line,
- 15:34you were kind of on the point there.
- 15:36It's not a right or left thing. It's an up or down thing.
- 15:39It's a righteousness versus wickedness thing.
- 15:42And Christians need to be able to discern that. You know, they think they're
- 15:46going to go to the voting booth and turn America back into what America started out in the 1700s.
- 15:52That is not the case. It's never, ever going to happen again.
- 15:54And you asked me about my thoughts, and I had some time to think about it,
- 15:58especially the things that you brought up, that all these people are in the
- 16:00same group, in the same bucket, usher in the end of Christ at the end of the day.
- 16:06And here's what's kind of twisted about it, too, is that they'll use people like Trump, okay?
- 16:13If you voted for him, whatever, whoever was, fine.
- 16:16You know, whatever that's closest to the ideals and the principles and values
- 16:20of a Christian, you vote for that party, right?
- 16:23But the point is, is that if there is anybody, I mean, especially the U.S., the U.S.
- 16:30Has to collapse at some point in time, right, to usher in a one-world government,
- 16:34to usher in the Antichrist.
- 16:36So, you have a huge group of people in this country that you need to get,
- 16:42you know, you need to get these people behind somebody to support something
- 16:47and blindly follow this person.
- 16:52What better way? I don't know. I don't know. I've never heard a clear testimony
- 16:57of salvation from Trump.
- 16:58So I don't, I have my doubts that he's actually saved. I pray that he's saved.
- 17:03I pray that he gets saved, you know, but at the end of the day,
- 17:07he carries a lot of, you know, secular and humanistic and liberal baggage with him.
- 17:12He, he, he wasn't a right-wing conservative his entire career,
- 17:16you know, and, and the bottom line is, is, you know, he doesn't see everything
- 17:20from a biblical, you know, point of view.
- 17:23He, I mean, he brought in, you know, he brought in that woman,
- 17:26I can't remember her name is, White something, you know, she's a charismatic,
- 17:31you know, leader that believes in tongues and signs and visions and stuff.
- 17:36You know, he brings in Catholics. He's got a lot of Roman Catholics on his administration.
- 17:40So I honestly don't believe, now I know that there's a lot of implications.
- 17:44They talked about the three-letter agencies like CIA and all these other different
- 17:48groups that might be involved with the Epstein things, but Brother Tillis,
- 17:52he brings up a good point.
- 17:54He thinks it's a Jesuit conspiracy.
- 17:57That a lot of this is framing, is building the framework for Mystery Babylon
- 18:02to come into effect sometime in the future.
- 18:05And that could very well be the case because I'm telling you what,
- 18:08Roman Catholicism is knee deep.
- 18:12I mean, they are waist deep in government affairs. And that's something.
- 18:16They've been doing it for a thousand years. Yeah, they've got their tentacles in everything.
- 18:21And that's an interesting connection there, too. you were just talking about
- 18:25it, is Trump and the Vatican.
- 18:28And you could try to entangle that web or try to entangle that web.
- 18:33Yeah, because remember his first administration, he had a call,
- 18:36I think it was during the COVID stuff, and he was giving, and there's all these
- 18:40bishops that were praising him,
- 18:42saying that he's the one president, it's the greatest friend to the Vatican,
- 18:46because he was giving them millions of dollars of support.
- 18:51And he's always been like that. And he's very pro-Catholic. And a lot of the
- 18:55people on his administration are pro-Catholic.
- 18:58You know, we hear them, we think they're evangelical Christians.
- 19:01But when you come to find out, like, no, they're not.
- 19:04A lot of them have Catholic backgrounds. Yeah.
- 19:07If you look at the administration, their backgrounds, you know,
- 19:09they're pretty rooted in Catholicism.
- 19:12And the first, I can't remember her name, but the press secretary,
- 19:15she was an She was an apologetic student.
- 19:19Yeah, McEnany or whatever.
- 19:22Yeah, but she was trained in this stuff. All of them were. He was first vice
- 19:27president. Right, yeah. Was a Roman Catholic.
- 19:30The connections are there, but the thing I was trying to get to is I don't know.
- 19:36How do you get half the country gun-toting right-wing conservatives behind somebody?
- 19:41You got to get them in line somehow.
- 19:43Right, right. And he's been more involved in creating a two-state solution in
- 19:51Israel with Palestine and the Jews.
- 19:53You know, I mean, whether—I don't think he's the Antichrist,
- 19:57but I can tell you one thing.
- 19:58He's definitely setting the stage for the Antichrist to step on that stage.
- 20:03You know why, too. And it's not a left or right thing, you said it.
- 20:07It's an up and down thing, you know, right and wrong thing.
- 20:10You know, most Christians, American Christians especially, think it's the left
- 20:14that's going to bring in the Antichrist. It's the left-wing Democrat,
- 20:17you know, liberals that are going to bring in the one world government,
- 20:21not the other way around. And that's why I think it's so genius.
- 20:24I think this is why I think Satan is so crafty and a genius.
- 20:28You would use, who knows?
- 20:32It could be. Well, and you know, it's fair speeches.
- 20:34He wins them over. Works. It's not some kind of, you know, it's not a military overthrow.
- 20:40That's not the way it works. Win their hearts and minds, right?
- 20:43And they'll blindly follow. You know, the Laodicean church, the last church,
- 20:47basically the last representative church of the church age, which is an apostate
- 20:54church, is the church of Laodicea.
- 20:57Laodicea means rights of the people. Okay? That means everybody has a right except God.
- 21:02But if you notice, what was the delusion of that church?
- 21:08They say, oh, I'm rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing.
- 21:14Prosperity. That means the last church, in their perspective, is prosperous.
- 21:20It's not what we think, because here's the thing, when you read your Bible,
- 21:25what does persecution bring when it comes to the church? It brings growth.
- 21:31You saw there in Acts 8, verse 1, when Paul was persecuting the church,
- 21:35the church spread all throughout Asia into Europe.
- 21:40Because of persecution. The church multiplies when they're persecuted.
- 21:45But what's the one way to kill the church? Prosperity.
- 21:49Freedom. Yeah. Liberty. Yeah, comfort. And that's exactly, you see,
- 21:53the Laodicean church. It's comfortable.
- 21:55It's comfortable and rights to the people. Like, I have a right to,
- 21:58you know, carry my guns and drive my big old pickup truck.
- 22:02Well, because, you know, the average Christian, you know, back in the 90s thought,
- 22:06you know, we had all these prophecy conferences, oh, they're going to be bringing
- 22:09in, you know, guillotines and cutting your head off and, you know,
- 22:12putting 666 on your forehead and putting you in internment camps.
- 22:16That's what everybody thought, but that's not the case.
- 22:20What if it's, you know, you bring in a Christian nationalist president that
- 22:25makes Christianity the law,
- 22:28and forces people to accept Christ and have these big giant rock concerts,
- 22:33you know, as at halftime at a Super Bowl, you know, praising God and bringing
- 22:38America back to God this, you know, this anniversary, July, July 4th, what was it?
- 22:45It's 1776, so was that 300 years? 300 years.
- 22:50Or 200 years, is it? That was 300, right? I can't tell you. You know math is
- 22:53not good with me, but yeah, hundreds of years.
- 22:57But you see what I mean? It's like all this Christian nationalism.
- 23:01Yeah, it's pretty heavy. One of the things that Brother Keener mentioned on
- 23:06his podcast, he said, here's what's crazy.
- 23:09You have so many people that are so committed and loyal to Trump that what if
- 23:13in the revelation of these Epstein files, you actually had a recorded live video
- 23:19of Trump engaging in some perverted act?
- 23:23And people would say, oh, that's just AI. They would refuse to believe it's
- 23:28their precious right-wing Christian president. And that's the delusion.
- 23:34So, anyway, I mean, I know that's a deep concept, but I didn't want to bring it up.
- 23:39But then I started thinking, I was like, you know what? It actually kind of
- 23:42ties in to, you know, at least the mystery of iniquity and Babylon the Great, really, these last two.
- 23:47It's appropriate because the last three really covers, you know,
- 23:51the later half, the last days, and everything that's happening today pretty
- 23:56much leads into these things that you're going to cover as far as the final mysteries.
- 24:00But, oh, Paula White. That's her name. I guess with that being said,
- 24:03we can probably jump into it. But go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 24:05What were you going to say? Oh, Paula White is the lady that ministered.
- 24:08Oh, there you go. Paula White. Yeah.
- 24:10Yeah. She is a pill. Okay.
- 24:13Now it's a mystery. Anyways, so the mystery of iniquity. So,
- 24:17I mean, you know, we kind of set the stage a little bit talking about it,
- 24:20but the Bible, it's drawn from the passage in 2 Thessalonians 2, verse 7.
- 24:25It says, For the mystery of iniquity doth already work. That's what Paul says.
- 24:30It's already working, this mystery of iniquity.
- 24:34Only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way.
- 24:39So, that let, it's similar to like you're playing tennis.
- 24:43Let is hinder. That's what it means. So, he that now hindereth will hinder until
- 24:49he be taken out of the way.
- 24:51So, this mystery describes, you know, the secret satanic working of evil that's
- 24:57been active since the apostles.
- 24:58And it culminates into the revelation of the Antichrist, where he steps out onto the world stage.
- 25:06So, because it's called the mystery of iniquity, it's actually a direct antithesis
- 25:11to the mystery of godliness, which is God manifest in the flesh.
- 25:16So, what do we conclude with that?
- 25:18Well, the mystery of iniquity must be the manifestation of the Antichrist in the flesh.
- 25:25That's what it is. But Paul says that, you know, that mystery of iniquity has
- 25:31been already in place. It's an act of force.
- 25:35It's a present spiritual reality that's been working through powers and signs
- 25:41and lying wonders all throughout the past 2,000 years of church history.
- 25:48But it says there's a restrainer, he who now letteth.
- 25:51So here's what a lot of people usually teach.
- 25:55They always teach that it's the Holy Spirit hindering the Antichrist.
- 25:59When the Holy Spirit's taken out of the way, then all of a sudden the Antichrist
- 26:02is now going to have power to reign. But that doesn't fit the passage.
- 26:05It doesn't fit the passage grammatically or contextually because the antecedent
- 26:11to the he is the man of sin.
- 26:14It talks about it in the previous verse.
- 26:17And it says, he who now letteth the man of sin until he's taken out of the way,
- 26:24then that wicked will be revealed.
- 26:27That wicked is going to be the beast. So we know that there's an Antichrist,
- 26:31there's a false prophet and there's the beast.
- 26:34There's a trinity, a false and evil trinity in the book of Revelation.
- 26:39So, what you find out is later on, whoever this Antichrist is,
- 26:44is going to be wounded or mortally wounded in a way that people are going to
- 26:48think that he was killed or he was killed.
- 26:50And then he's going to miraculously rise from the dead.
- 26:54And the Bible says that the devil will enter into him and he will be the devil incarnate.
- 27:00That's the beast. And, you know, that's where you see that last half of Daniel's
- 27:0570th week, which is 42 months, 1260 days, three and a half years, so forth and so on.
- 27:12Well, that, so that culmination of the wicked being revealed is the devil manifest in the flesh.
- 27:18He's going to sit in the temple, the Bible says in 2 Thessalonians.
- 27:22And 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 is the key passage, the key chapter for all this.
- 27:27You know, there's a lot in the Bible about the Antichrist. But this mystery
- 27:32of iniquity culminates.
- 27:34It concludes with the devil going into the rebuilt temple, sitting on the Holy
- 27:40of Holies, and declaring that he is God.
- 27:44Because it really comes down to what the devil's wanted since the beginning
- 27:49of his rebellion against God, and that is worship.
- 27:52He said in Isaiah, I will be like the Most High. So his desire since the beginning is worship.
- 28:00Matter of fact, remember when he was tempting Christ, he says,
- 28:03I want you to fall down and worship me.
- 28:05That's what he wants. He will eventually get that in the tribulation.
- 28:10Well, that's a process that he's been manipulating kingdoms and kings and these
- 28:19cultural and political ideologies that are so antithetical to the Bible.
- 28:25It's because it's the God of this world who's at work.
- 28:29And what he's doing is he's—this process is to eventually culminate in the devil
- 28:36himself incarnate in the flesh,
- 28:39going into the temple, and then sitting down and claiming to be God.
- 28:43And you know what's interesting in that 2 Thessalonians passage?
- 28:46The Bible says that he's going to sit there and above—and he's going to sit
- 28:50there and magnify himself above all that is called God.
- 28:55All that is called God. Well, what's called God? Well, you have Allah,
- 28:59you have, you know, you have Mary, you have all these false gods,
- 29:03the Hindu gods, you have Asian gods, you know, Buddhists, Hinduism,
- 29:08all these different religions have their idols and their gods.
- 29:12And the Bible says, when you look at 2 Thessalonians, that when the devil finally
- 29:16shows up in the flesh, this mystery of iniquity,
- 29:20the devil manifests in the flesh, he's going to resemble every single pagan
- 29:25religion's God, including Christianity.
- 29:28He's going to show up as Jesus Christ.
- 29:32So obviously, if you fail to understand this mystery of iniquity,
- 29:37the errors that are resultant to it are, you know, people start,
- 29:42they adopt Christian nationalism.
- 29:44They think, well, it's this positive thinking, America first.
- 29:47We're going to bring in the kingdom. We're going to make things right.
- 29:50We're going to eliminate abortion. We're going to do this. We're going to do
- 29:53that. You know what I mean?
- 29:54It's like, that's the mentality. It's this positive, you know,
- 29:57thinking about America is great.
- 29:59And it's no longer about the Bible. It's no longer about the truth.
- 30:03It's about what fits my political ideology. And unfortunately,
- 30:07there's a bunch of Christians out there that don't know their Bible.
- 30:11They have no idea what the mystery of iniquity is. They couldn't tell you two
- 30:15or three bullet points on the doctrine of the Antichrist,
- 30:19and they're going to be vulnerable to this strong delusion, because the Bible
- 30:23even says that it's going to be a delusion, and they're going to,
- 30:27because they, and you know what's interesting?
- 30:29Let me hear about the Bible, because it's actually, it's worded very,
- 30:33very, very specifically.
- 30:35I think, like I said, it's a great, great passage to read, 2 Thessalonians 2. Let me pull it up here.
- 30:42Yeah, while you're looking that up, and I don't want to throw you off track
- 30:45either, You mentioned something very important, is that they want to bring America
- 30:49back to where it was, but a lot of Christians don't know their history, right?
- 30:56And this American nationalism, or I'm sorry, this Christian nationalism,
- 31:00we were never there in the first place.
- 31:02Baptists, yeah. We were the ones persecuted as a result of it.
- 31:05If you look at Baptist history, you know, our Baptist forefathers would be rolling
- 31:09it over in their graves with the type of support or thinking that,
- 31:13like, we need to make America a Christian nation again. But anyways,
- 31:16that's kind of a side topic.
- 31:18No, I mean, it's absolutely right. And that's why Christian nationalism is wrong.
- 31:23It is absolutely biblical. biblical because what it does is it confuses the
- 31:27church-state relationship.
- 31:29Exactly. It merges it. Yep. So here's what the Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2.
- 31:34It says, so verse 7, for the mystery of iniquity doth already work,
- 31:37only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way.
- 31:41And then it says, then, verse 8, shall that wicked be revealed,
- 31:45whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with
- 31:48the brightness of his coming.
- 31:49I don't want to, I'm going to get, I know I'm already going to go down like
- 31:53a thousand rabbit trails here, but, you know, he consumes them with the spirit of his mouth.
- 31:57That's the word of God. That shows you that the only weapon that we have against
- 32:03the spirit of iniquity and the spirit of Antichrist is the Bible.
- 32:08So, here's what it says in verse 9, even him whose coming is after the working
- 32:12of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.
- 32:15Now, that's important because that means that this devil is going to be able
- 32:19to do signs and lying wonders.
- 32:21He's going to be able to do wonders and miracles just like Jesus Christ did.
- 32:24He's going to prove to the world that he is Jesus Christ, and the Jews are going
- 32:29to accept him through this delusion that he is their Messiah.
- 32:34Here's what it says in verse 10, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness
- 32:38in them that perish, watch, because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved.
- 32:46So they did not receive the love of the truth. What have we emphasized over
- 32:52and over again in this podcast?
- 32:55It is not about whether we tolerate people or trying to be a nice person or
- 33:00we're trying to get along.
- 33:02That's not the primary goal of the Christian.
- 33:05The primary goal of the Christian is truth, is a commitment to the truth,
- 33:09to the truth, to the truth.
- 33:11Whether it makes us happy, whether it makes us sad, whether it offends us, it doesn't matter.
- 33:16It's about what is the truth
- 33:19and the people that are going to accept satan in
- 33:22the flesh are the ones that it says right here because
- 33:25they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved and then it
- 33:30says this verse 11 and this is man this is a sad passage but it says and for
- 33:36this cause what cause them not receiving the love of the truth god shall send them strong delusion,
- 33:43that they should believe a lie.
- 33:45So the reason why they accept the Antichrist and they accept the lie behind
- 33:50the one world government and the mark of the beast,
- 33:54the reason why they're deluded by that is because God forced them into that
- 33:58position, but they first rejected the truth.
- 34:02God's not overriding their will. He's giving them the consequences of their
- 34:06free choice, and they chose to reject the truth.
- 34:11They wanted to hold on to their political ideology, their Christian nationalism.
- 34:16Their charity, their do good under your neighbor type of junk.
- 34:21You know what I'm saying?
- 34:21They wanted to hold on to that, so they reject the truth.
- 34:24So God says, okay, I'm going to send you a delusion. And here's the result of the delusion.
- 34:29He says, and for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion that they should
- 34:32believe a lie. So that's the first step. But what's the consequence of believing the lie?
- 34:36Verse 12, that they all might be damned.
- 34:40That's what it says, that they all might be damned who believe not the truth,
- 34:44but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
- 34:48So Paul basically is telling us, he's telling the church at Thessalonica.
- 34:53When this guy shows up, not only is he going to glorify himself and magnify
- 34:57himself above all that is called God, that means every religion is going to be in on it,
- 35:01that when he shows up, they're going to believe his lie and delusion because
- 35:06they rejected the truth of the word of God.
- 35:09And so that vulnerability to the strong delusion, if you don't understand the
- 35:13mystery of iniquity, you're going to be subject to it.
- 35:15And then, of course, the political blindness to the spirit of Antichrist,
- 35:19which, look, I'm all about America. I love this country. I was naturalized here.
- 35:25I fought for this country. You know, I was in the military and I'm telling you,
- 35:29I love this country. I love what the constitution stood for.
- 35:32I love what our Baptist fathers, forefathers sacrificed to get us this freedom.
- 35:37But this, like you said, is not the America from 250 years ago, 300 years ago.
- 35:44You know what I mean? This is not the same America.
- 35:47And so, this not understanding this mystery of iniquity is going to result in
- 35:53people becoming Christian nationalists and trying to think that the Republican
- 35:57Party is going to save them.
- 35:58Or being blind to the wickedness that's at, you know, at the White House and
- 36:03all the levels that are related to it, unfortunately.
- 36:06You know, it's scary thinking about it that you can present,
- 36:09you know, those who choose to believe a lie and not the love of the truth that
- 36:13you can't do anything for people like that.
- 36:17You can show them the truth and they wouldn't be able to recognize what it is.
- 36:21Right. And that's scary. And we have to keep in mind that as Christians,
- 36:25our obligation is to just tell the truth whether they accept it or not.
- 36:28So, you know, there's a quote from, because this is just to kind of illustrate
- 36:35just how ready the world is to receive the devil. This is in 1957.
- 36:42This is the Secretary General of NATO, Paul Henry Spack, and he's speaking before the UN.
- 36:48And this is what he says. He says, we don't want another committee.
- 36:51We have too many already.
- 36:53What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all the
- 37:00people and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we're sinking.
- 37:05Such, send us such a man. And watch what he says.
- 37:09And be he God or devil, we will receive him.
- 37:13That's what the secretary general of nato said october 1957 in front of the
- 37:20u.n general assembly that was you're talking about over 40 years ago 50 years
- 37:26ago almost 50 years ago they they were ready to receive the devil then how much
- 37:31more ready do you think they are today,
- 37:33is this it's around the corner it's tomorrow i don't know.
- 37:37Yeah, it's wild. Yeah, I mean, if you see the wickedness, it's not just people
- 37:43rejecting and cussing you out.
- 37:45It is ultimate perversion.
- 37:48I mean, this is stuff that is just like, it makes me think of Genesis chapter
- 37:526 stuff. You know what I mean? It's just honestly, it's so wicked.
- 37:56And this goes, you know, I don't want to go into another rabbit trail too,
- 38:00but it's just so imperative for the Christian to know this, to know truth,
- 38:04to be able to identify this.
- 38:06And the majority of them in this country is going down this path of Christian
- 38:11nationalism because that's what they think it's supposed to be or it should be.
- 38:17And in fact, you've got— Well, they're holding on to a false hope.
- 38:20Yeah, and in fact, of all people, of all people, Christians are helping to usher in what's coming next.
- 38:28And that's it. That's concerning. That's sad. And this is why it's,
- 38:32you know, we emphasize that here at The Immutable Word is that you've got to
- 38:35know this book. Gotta get in it. Yep.
- 38:38Yep. So that was the mystery of iniquity, man. I tell you what,
- 38:41and that spirit of iniquity, that spirit of Antichrist is, you know,
- 38:47it's funny because, you know, the Bible says, you know, 1 Timothy 3.16,
- 38:51the mystery of godliness is God manifest in the flesh, right?
- 38:54So the spirit of iniquity is the devil manifest in the flesh.
- 38:58What's interesting, if you read 1 John 4.1, the Bible says to try every spirit
- 39:02to see whether it's of God. And what's one of the conditions that you test, you validate by?
- 39:07It says, any spirit that denies that Christ is come is an antichrist.
- 39:14So it's just interesting that that spirit of antichrist is the rejection,
- 39:19the antithesis of God manifest in the flesh.
- 39:21And isn't it interesting that every modern version out there except the King
- 39:26James Bible removes the word God manifest in the flesh in 1 Timothy 3.16?
- 39:31Yeah imagine that interesting nothing to it though yeah.
- 39:37Yeah, no, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, right?
- 39:40Yeah, right. Just a coincidence.
- 39:43Yep. So, anyway, so the next one, the last one, the last mystery is Mystery Babylon the Great.
- 39:48And I'll recap all seven of them here at the end. But the Mystery Babylon the Great.
- 39:55So, the Bible says in Revelation 17, verse 5, And upon her forehead was a name
- 39:59written, mystery, Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.
- 40:07So this mystery reveals a final apostate, one world religious system that will
- 40:14dominate the world during the tribulation period.
- 40:16And it represents really the culmination of false religion that began at the
- 40:21Tower of Babel back in Genesis 11.
- 40:24So it describes a woman that rides a beast, Revelation 17.
- 40:28So it's a corrupt religious system that's riding political power.
- 40:33Because the Bible says that she fornicates and commits adultery with the kings of this world.
- 40:41So, you know, I do believe that the Roman Catholic Church, if it's not the mystery
- 40:49Babylon, it is a foundational stepping stone.
- 40:53To the Babylon the Great, because it's been involved in the political world
- 40:58since, you know, the fourth century.
- 41:00And it has been knee-deep in every political conspiracy.
- 41:05You know, that's why I thought it was interesting that Brother Tillis said that,
- 41:08you know, he thinks that Epstein was a Jesuit plant, or he worked for the Jesuits.
- 41:14It could be very possible, you know, I wouldn't doubt
- 41:16it yeah but what this so so
- 41:19there's political this religious the religious church
- 41:23marrying the state we see that as part of this babylon the great system we also
- 41:27see ecumenical deception because listen unity without truth and that's exactly
- 41:32what you're going to do you're going to unify all the religions of the world
- 41:35into a single religious system in order to do that you got to eliminate doctrine.
- 41:41Because you can't get, you know, you can't get Hindus and Buddhists and Muslims
- 41:46and Christians and JWs and Mormons and Jews.
- 41:50You can't get them to worship and go into one religion without stripping out
- 41:58all the doctrinal truth.
- 42:00So unity without truth, that's where you merge all religions into one.
- 42:04That's ecumenical deception, and that's at the heart of Babylon the Great.
- 42:09And of course, it describes spiritual fornication. That's unfaithfulness to
- 42:13God through idolatry and false worship.
- 42:16How else are you going to get the world to worship the image of the beast and
- 42:21take his mark as a process or a step to that worship?
- 42:25And of course, the Bible also says in Revelation 17.6 that this woman was drunken
- 42:31with the blood of saints, and there is not one religious church on the planet that.
- 42:37That can, I mean, hold a candle to what the Roman Catholic Church has done to
- 42:42believers over the past 1,500 years.
- 42:44And then, of course, what I brought up, Revelation 18, 13, human slavery,
- 42:49slaves and the souls of men.
- 42:51So, failing to understand the mystery of the Babylon the Great and this one-world
- 42:58ecumenical movement, you know, the marriage of church and state,
- 43:01the spiritual fornication,
- 43:03the stripping of doctrine, all of this, the doctrinal errors that will result
- 43:08from this by not, by a Christian not being faithful to the, you know,
- 43:13being this faithful steward to these mysteries.
- 43:15They're going to embrace ecumenicism and interfaith movements.
- 43:18They're going to sit there and put a, turn a blind eye to doctrinal differences.
- 43:21They'll accept a Paula White.
- 43:23You know what I mean? They'll accept some of these other liberal churches that
- 43:26are getting rid of the King James Bible and getting rid of their labels and stuff.
- 43:31You know, we don't, we don't want to be tied to a label anymore.
- 43:33We're all God's children.
- 43:35They're going to, you know, accept philosophies where, you know, all paths lead to God.
- 43:40Again, there's no doctrinal error. But Jesus Christ, when he was dealing with
- 43:44the Sadducees who rejected the resurrection, the afterlife, and they were challenging
- 43:49him about the woman, you know, marrying a man and then marrying the seven brothers,
- 43:53he says, Ye do err not knowing the scripture, nor the power of God.
- 43:58So he told them that there was errors in what their belief was,
- 44:01and he was using the word of God to correct them.
- 44:04Then, of course, by, you know, misunderstanding the Babylonian great mystery,
- 44:08you fail to separate from apostate churches. You're not going to know the difference.
- 44:12And then you're going to trust in religious institutions over Christ and the Bible.
- 44:17You're going to become a Christian nationalist. And you know what?
- 44:20Anything that's going to protect your precious Trump, even if it means throwing the Bible out.
- 44:25And then, of course, embracing religious nationalism, which is all at the heart of all that.
- 44:30So, you know, these mysteries, let me go back and kind of like recap.
- 44:36So the first one, the mystery of godliness, that's God manifest in the flesh.
- 44:40That's Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. That's the hypostatic union
- 44:44that we mentioned earlier in the last episode.
- 44:47And then, of course, the mystery of Christ in you, that's Christ dwells within every believer.
- 44:51That's our hope of glory, right? We were baptized into Christ.
- 44:56I mean, that's a very important doctrine, spiritual circumcision.
- 45:00That's where, you know, eternal security comes from and so forth and so on.
- 45:04And then, of course, the body of Christ means all believers are united as one
- 45:08spiritual organism that's called the church, and that's Christ's bride,
- 45:14according to Ephesians 5.
- 45:15Then, of course, Israel's blindness, Israel's temporary spiritual blindness,
- 45:19because you also have, you know, you have the Christian nationalists and you
- 45:22have the people that are rejecting, you know, Israel and attacking Israel and
- 45:27they're replacing Israel with the church.
- 45:29But then you have the other guys on the other side where literally every,
- 45:33if you're a Jew, you're saved.
- 45:35You know, if you're a Jew, you could do no wrong. Well, I hate to break it to
- 45:40you, but the Antichrist, when you study his nature, you find out the Bible says
- 45:44in Daniel that he goes against the God of his fathers.
- 45:48And that phrase, God of his fathers, is Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- 45:53That means the Antichrist is half Jew or part Jew.
- 45:56And that Jew is predisposed. They are engineered to run the world.
- 46:04That is eventually what's going to happen in the millennium.
- 46:06But you have a blind apostate Israel.
- 46:09Guess what they're going to do? They're
- 46:11going to operate a level that is completely against the word of God.
- 46:15So, yeah, they're in blindness right now, but it's temporary.
- 46:19God's not done with them. It's very important to understand that.
- 46:23And then, of course, the rapture. Living believers, you know,
- 46:26were transformed instantly and were caught up to meet Christ in the air.
- 46:29That's the rapture, you know, and, of course, trying to put the church in the tribulation.
- 46:33Confuses what the purpose of the tribulation. And then what we just talked about,
- 46:37the mystery of iniquity, that's, you know, the wickedness, the mystery of iniquity
- 46:42that's been operating since the time of Paul, and it's preparing the way for the Antichrist.
- 46:46And then Babylon the Great, which is the final apostate one world religious
- 46:50system that will eventually come to fruition and then be destroyed right at
- 46:55the end of the tribulation.
- 46:56So why is it important, you know, to kind of reiterate, why are these mysteries so important?
- 47:02And we did a super high level. I mean, we could have spent an episode apiece
- 47:07with each mystery, to be honest with you.
- 47:10But understanding these mysteries obviously requires distinguishing God's program
- 47:15for Israel and his program for the church.
- 47:16And if you don't think that there's a difference between those two,
- 47:20then I'm sorry, you're a babe in Christ and you don't know what the Bible says.
- 47:24And the key to you know key to understanding is right division that is the only
- 47:28proper way to interpret the bible is through dispensational hermeneutics or interpretation.
- 47:34That means recognizing that the gospel of the kingdom that was preached to Israel
- 47:38differs from the mystery of the church and the gospel of the kingdom of God,
- 47:43which is spiritual righteousness and holiness in the Holy Spirit.
- 47:48And, you know, if you don't make that distinction between Israel and the church
- 47:55and these mysteries and their application to the church, then what's going to
- 47:59happen is you're going to—the scripture, when you start reading your Bible,
- 48:02you're going to be confused.
- 48:03And you're going to sit there and accept contradictions or create contradictions
- 48:06in the way that you interpret it.
- 48:08So, at the end of the day, what are the consequences?
- 48:11So, if you were to misunderstand or misapply these mysteries,
- 48:17right, failing to understand these mysteries, you know, we mentioned before
- 48:20that it leads to serious doctrinal errors and heresies.
- 48:24And here's some of them. Number one, you'll attack the deity of Christ by not
- 48:29understanding the mystery of godliness,
- 48:31denying Jesus as God by obscuring that phrase, God was manifest in the flesh,
- 48:38or that Jesus Christ was not truly God.
- 48:41He was a God, or he's just the son of God. He's a lesser God.
- 48:46So, you're going to end up attacking Christ's deity if you don't understand
- 48:50the mystery of godliness.
- 48:51You reject the distinction between the church and Israel. Now you're going to
- 48:57get involved in replacement theology or what's also called super successionism.
- 49:02That's falsely claiming the church has permanently replaced Israel.
- 49:05That means you're going to sit there and call God a liar for all the promises
- 49:09and the covenants in the Old Testament.
- 49:11And then, of course, the loss of the blessed hope, which is the rapture,
- 49:14confusing the rapture with the second coming.
- 49:15You're going to create fear and confusion, especially in eternal security.
- 49:20And you're going to try to force people into works, performance, salvation.
- 49:25Then you have ecumenicism and apostasy, failing to identify false religious
- 49:29systems and the spirit of Antichrist, works-based salvation, mixing law and grace,
- 49:34trusting rituals instead of Christ's finished work, religious nationalism,
- 49:38mixing church and state relationships, and failing to separate what belongs to God and Caesar.
- 49:42The dissolution of biblical authority, because by rejecting the biblical literalism
- 49:46associated with these mysteries, you're
- 49:49going to start to allegorize and spiritualize passages of Scripture.
- 49:52And then your final authority becomes subjective. You've shifted it from God
- 49:58being the authority to man or politics or culture being the authority.
- 50:03And then, of course, you're going to weaken your faith because the Bible tells
- 50:06us, Romans 10 and verse 17, so then faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.
- 50:11Well, if you're improperly interpreting Scripture and misapplying these mysteries,
- 50:17you're going to weaken your faith and the believer's faith that you're trying
- 50:21to teach and where they're not, they're going to be unable to contend for the
- 50:26faith once delivered to the saints because they're not going to be able to properly
- 50:30articulate it or identify it.
- 50:32So at the bottom, the bottom line, the reason why these mysteries are important,
- 50:36faithful stewardship of these mysteries, what it does is ensures and it creates a grounded,
- 50:44rooted foundation for Christians, ensures spiritual stability.
- 50:49Correct interpretation of Scripture, purifying the hope of Christ's return in
- 50:53the heart of the believer.
- 50:55And because of these things, this is why Paul said in Corinthians that you're
- 51:00going to hold us accountable by ensuring that we're faithful stewards of these mysteries.
- 51:08So like I said, you can be bad at your money, you can mess up in your sanctification
- 51:14and your personal, and I'm not saying that you're not going to impact another
- 51:18believer because of that.
- 51:20But if you get these mysteries wrong, you could literally cause a church to go into apostasy.
- 51:27You can literally, you know, cause Christians to stumble in their understanding
- 51:33of the faith and their ability to defend the faith. So these mysteries are important.
- 51:37You know, so the mystery of godliness, the mystery of Christ in you,
- 51:41the mystery of the body of Christ, the mystery of Israel's blindness,
- 51:45the rapture, the mystery of iniquity, and Babylon the Great.
- 51:48Learn these mysteries. It is so critical and key for the Christian,
- 51:53especially in spiritual growth.
- 51:54So, especially in the times that we're living in, you know what I mean?
- 51:57It's more critical now than it's ever been before in the last,
- 52:00again, we mentioned this earlier in the episode, five, ten years,
- 52:04how quickly we've accelerated down this path and how satanic things have been.
- 52:10And this is with having even, you know, the current administration having a
- 52:14right-wing conservative, quote-unquote Christian president.
- 52:20But we need to know this truth more than ever. Yeah, absolutely.
- 52:25And you know what? Like we were talking about in the previous episode,
- 52:29how many believers actually can cite all seven of these mysteries?
- 52:36How many people can sit there and adequately sit down and defend each one of
- 52:41these mysteries from the top of their head?
- 52:44And yet Paul said we're supposed to be faithful stewards of them.
- 52:47Yeah, that's a command. Right? It is shameful.
- 52:53I'll play a little bit of a devil's advocate here for the audience's sake.
- 52:58And here you've presented, it's been very, very clear about the expectations,
- 53:03the accountability that we have as Christians, being faithful stewards of these mysteries.
- 53:09We need to know these things. We need to know these critical doctrines.
- 53:11So that way we can identify, again, you know, be able to detect Satan working in all facets.
- 53:18In the political world, in the media, everywhere we see. We need to be able
- 53:23to identify that the only way we can do that is through the study of God's Word
- 53:28and knowing these things.
- 53:30Now, knowing this, what if somebody comes to you and is like,
- 53:34hey, Robert, this is great,
- 53:37very deep theological study, but shouldn't we just be focused on soul winning
- 53:43and focusing on just bringing people into church?
- 53:46And I think that the issue is that we're not teaching our kids and we're just
- 53:51poor examples as parents, and we really need to go in there and teach that,
- 53:56teach the next generation that's coming in.
- 53:58And if we start focusing on this theology stuff, we're probably going to end
- 54:02up in replacing church and going into this YouTube theology culture.
- 54:07What would you say to that?
- 54:10False analogy. Well, I know. Slippery slope, all that good stuff.
- 54:14I mean, well, I'd have several questions. Number one, what are you going to teach them?
- 54:20Number two, if you're going to win them and you expect them to grow and teach
- 54:24others, how are you going to establish that foundation?
- 54:27And what are you going to do when their faith is challenged by a world who hates
- 54:31their God, hates their Bible, hates their religion?
- 54:34Number three, show me how a YouTube ministry can allow somebody to grow spiritually
- 54:40if they're rejecting what the Word of God says about the local church.
- 54:45That's a misunderstanding of the mystery. Because if you misunderstand the mystery
- 54:49of the body of Christ, You're going to misunderstand the ministry of the local
- 54:53church as an organization.
- 54:55It's a self-defeating argument, honestly. It's a poor argument,
- 54:59you know. But it just shows you that that person doesn't know their Bible.
- 55:02They think their Bible is about soul winning. Your Bible is not about soul winning.
- 55:07And this is unfortunately the departure from dispensational hermeneutics,
- 55:11is that the person thinks that the entire Bible from Genesis Revelation is a story of redemption.
- 55:18It's not. But if you can, you know, make this make sense to me,
- 55:23square this peg for me, right?
- 55:25You're telling me that God is more interested in wicked, vile,
- 55:31you know, men nailing his son to a cross, stripping him naked,
- 55:36ripping his beard out of his face, mocking him and spitting on him.
- 55:39He's more interested in that than he is in his son sitting on a throne one day
- 55:45and destroying his enemies and making all of his enemies his footstool.
- 55:50Which day do you think is the one that God is more interested in?
- 55:55I'm concerned about Calvary because I got saved. But if you think that's what
- 55:59the Bible's about, that just shows a vast ignorance of Scripture.
- 56:04And so, unfortunately, what you just described is a very shallow Christianity
- 56:09that is going to usher in the Antichrist.
- 56:12The reason why you have Christian nationalists, the reason why you have these
- 56:16Trumpites that are waving the flag and want Trump to be reelected and they want
- 56:22a conservative Congress is because of that mentality, what you just described.
- 56:27It's not helping anything, in other words.
- 56:31Nope. What it's doing, it's creating biblical ignorance.
- 56:36And my people, Hosea said, are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
- 56:39So what that person just told me is they're more interested in practical,
- 56:46everyday Christian life, but they're not interested in the Bible.
- 56:51But you know what? Here's the problem. When Jesus Christ told the Pharisees,
- 56:55you do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
- 56:58He said their fundamental error was not that, because the Sadducees were very
- 57:04righteous people. So were the Pharisees.
- 57:06Matter of fact, he says in Matthew chapter 23, he goes, I want you to do after
- 57:10what they say, but don't do after what they do.
- 57:13He goes, don't follow the hypocrisy. But he just said this. He goes.
- 57:18They tied their mint, their cumin, their anise.
- 57:21They round out the borders of their phylacteries. They dressed right. They dressed holy.
- 57:28They looked. I mean, the Bible says in Romans chapter 10 that they had a zeal
- 57:33towards God, but without knowledge.
- 57:35So in all practical purposes, if they were to walk into a fundamental,
- 57:40independent, fundamentalist type church, they would be the type of men that
- 57:44you would put up on the pinnacle and say, these are great men of God. Right?
- 57:48But Jesus Christ said, you do err, not knowing the scriptures,
- 57:52the scriptures, the scriptures.
- 57:54That's the final authority. Then you know what else he said?
- 57:58He says, you're full of dead men's bones.
- 58:00You fool well, you reject the word of God for your tradition.
- 58:04And unfortunately, a person that says that soul winning and bus ministries and
- 58:09all this other stuff is more important than understanding these seven mysteries,
- 58:13they're basically telling you that what they want to do is uphold and promote
- 58:17tradition over Scripture.
- 58:19Jesus Christ said this in John 12, verse 48. He says, I'm not going to judge
- 58:24you. I'm not going to judge you, but there is one that's going to judge you.
- 58:27And he says, the one that's going to judge you is going to be my words, John 12, 48.
- 58:33So, you're telling me that not learning the Word of God is,
- 58:39you know, for the sake of promoting, you know, good behavior,
- 58:43dressing right, promoting the bus ministry, you're telling me that's more important
- 58:48than learning the Word of God?
- 58:50That you're supposed to replace, you know, studying? That's the command.
- 58:54The only command to study the Word of God is 2 Timothy 2.15.
- 58:57It doesn't say study the ministry of great men of God. It says study the Scriptures, the Word of Truth.
- 59:04So, if the mandate exists, and it says that if you want to find approval from
- 59:09God, it all hinges upon your ability to rightly divide and study the Bible,
- 59:14you're going to tell me that running a bus ministry is more important than that?
- 59:18Yeah, hopefully nobody will ask me that question.
- 59:22I did. With that said, unfortunately, we live in a culture of,
- 59:29when I say we, I say saved Christians, we live in a culture of performative Christianity.
- 59:34This is the majority of the country, especially American Christians,
- 59:38that the emphasis, consequently the emphasis is on those things that— Well, there's a misnomer.
- 59:45They think that right theology or right practice, right practical theology should
- 59:52govern right doctrine, but that's backwards.
- 59:55Right. Right doctrine governs right behavior.
- 59:59Right. It drives right behavior. And if you don't understand that,
- 1:00:03then you have a great, you know, ignorance of the Word of God, you know?
- 1:00:08Yeah. I'm not, listen, I'm not convicted because a man, you know,
- 1:00:12puts more money in the plate than I do.
- 1:00:14I'm convicted because when I read 2 Corinthians 8 and Paul says,
- 1:00:18if you really love me, if you love God, you'd put money in that plate. There's a difference.
- 1:00:23You know, if I've got to be berated about putting money in the plate,
- 1:00:27then, you know, there's a problem with my heart with God. But if I'm sitting
- 1:00:31there putting money in the plate because of what a man says behind a pulpit,
- 1:00:33then I'm following that man. I'm not following God.
- 1:00:37And so, there's too much scriptural evidence to show that people like to follow people.
- 1:00:43People are drawn to following men. They're sheep. That's why Christ described us as that. Yeah.
- 1:00:49It's easy to follow. It's easy to set up a subjective standard of a man who
- 1:00:57might be claimed to be a man of God, for example.
- 1:01:00And if you're not living to that certain standard, then you're sort of outside
- 1:01:03the scope of where you should be as Christian. It's, you know,
- 1:01:06again, it's the culture of performative Christianity, which is drawn away from
- 1:01:10Scripture, unfortunately.
- 1:01:12I'll ask you one last thing. I know we can go on and on about this.
- 1:01:16But you and I both know that what we talk about, the deep diving of Scripture,
- 1:01:23understanding the mysteries and getting to the doctrines, it's what we're supposed
- 1:01:26to do. It's what we're required to do.
- 1:01:29It is what we're accountable for. This is the burden that we bear.
- 1:01:33It's part of the truth we need to know.
- 1:01:35To detect Satan's work in this world and be able to fight against it because
- 1:01:40it's a spiritual battle.
- 1:01:42There's going to be a lot of Christians, and well, I say a lot,
- 1:01:45but hopefully we have more listeners that will start listening to this stuff.
- 1:01:47They've never heard this stuff before.
- 1:01:50You know, they might have grown up in church, but they've been in this performative
- 1:01:54Christianity culture for so long that this is foreign, this truth that we're
- 1:02:00talking about is foreign to a safe Christian.
- 1:02:02Now, if they're happening to stumble upon this truth and they're hungry,
- 1:02:09but they know that they're not going to be fed the meat that they're required
- 1:02:13to really grow spiritually,
- 1:02:15what kind of guidance would you give them?
- 1:02:19Supplement your diet if you're not getting the right food, you know,
- 1:02:24unfortunately from your local church.
- 1:02:25I'm not saying, if there's a concept that I've heard, and I often recommend
- 1:02:33the same thing, and that's, you know, A church, B church, C church, D church.
- 1:02:38A church would be like the perfect church that's doctrinally sound,
- 1:02:42has a balance of practical theology, doctrinal, deep theological, you know, theology.
- 1:02:49It teaches you the Word of God, rightly divides, so forth, and so on.
- 1:02:52It has a balance of, you know, love and grace and fellowship with Christian
- 1:02:58believers, the right music, the right standards, so forth, and so on.
- 1:03:02That's the A church. Well, if you can't find the A church, find the B church.
- 1:03:05You know, maybe it's good music,
- 1:03:09it's right standard, but it's not as deep theologically as you'd like.
- 1:03:13You know, and, you know, if you live in an area where it's real hard to find
- 1:03:16a B church, then find a C church where at least they claim to believe the Bible.
- 1:03:21You know, they are preaching salvation.
- 1:03:24And if you're in a situation where you're in a C or B church,
- 1:03:27then you have to supplement your faith because this is, well, you have to do it anyway.
- 1:03:31I don't care if you're in a church, because if all you do is rely on the pulpit
- 1:03:35to feed you, then you've got a, you've got a dietary issue because that Bible
- 1:03:40is supposed to be living food.
- 1:03:42Jesus Christ said, Matthew 4, 4, man shall not live by bread alone,
- 1:03:45but by every word which proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
- 1:03:49That means if that Bible is not a daily, sustainable, and weekly diet for you,
- 1:03:55then you are failing to follow God. I don't care if you're in the best church
- 1:03:59in the world. It doesn't matter.
- 1:04:01The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2, 15, study to show thyself approved unto God.
- 1:04:08Not your pastor, not your best friend, not your aunt, your uncle,
- 1:04:12your grandparents, your mom, your dad, your wife, your husband.
- 1:04:15It's a study to show thyself approved unto God. That means the level of study
- 1:04:21that you do must meet God's approval, period.
- 1:04:27The Bible says in Romans 14, verse 12, so then every one of us shall give account of himself.
- 1:04:36That means you will have to give an account at the judgment seat of Christ for
- 1:04:40your duty and responsibility of learning that book.
- 1:04:44And if your excuse is, well, my pastor didn't touch on this,
- 1:04:47my preacher didn't preach on this, you are going to be held accountable.
- 1:04:52Your preacher will be held accountable for himself.
- 1:04:56He'll have to give an account for his ministry that God gave him,
- 1:04:59but you are going to be responsible for your ministry.
- 1:05:04That's called the priesthood of the believer. We'll get into that when we start
- 1:05:07talking about Baptist distinctives.
- 1:05:09But that's what I would tell somebody. Well, if you're not getting what you
- 1:05:12need behind the pulpit, supplement your diet.
- 1:05:14Get good Bible-believing Baptist preachers that are King James only,
- 1:05:19that are right-dividing, men of God that won't compromise on doctrine,
- 1:05:23that aren't afraid to tell you the truth.
- 1:05:25And here's the bottom line. This is what one preacher said one time.
- 1:05:29He said this. He goes, the job of every Christian.
- 1:05:31He's a missionary to Japan back in the 50s. He said, the job of every Christian
- 1:05:36is to find out what the spirit of the age is and go against it and find out
- 1:05:42what the scripture says against that particular spirit.
- 1:05:44Because the spirit of the age of this world, it's always going to follow the God of this world.
- 1:05:50And so the job of every Christian is to be able to identify that.
- 1:05:53So if you start getting comfortable in this world, then, yeah,
- 1:05:57that's probably a good danger sign that you're off track somewhere.
- 1:06:00But, yep, if you're not getting it from your church, no excuses.
- 1:06:04You got a Bible in your hand.
- 1:06:05You know, you have brothers and sisters that have bled to put that Bible in your hand.
- 1:06:10And it'd be a shame for you to stand up and, you know, at the judgment seat
- 1:06:13of Christ and face those people who literally had their children ripped from their wombs.
- 1:06:19They were nailed to crosses.
- 1:06:22They were drowned. They were torn apart so that you can have a Bible in your
- 1:06:26hand and you won't study it.
- 1:06:29Yep, amen to that. And I'd just like to reemphasize this, I said this in the
- 1:06:34previous episode too, is that podcast is not a replacement for church.
- 1:06:38If you're looking for a license to not be in church, there's no good excuse
- 1:06:42for that. We're supposed to be in a church. And I loved how you put that.
- 1:06:46It's like, look for the A, B, C, or D church.
- 1:06:49Look for what's out there, the closest thing that you can get into,
- 1:06:52where you can get in fellowship with others and try to draw out what you can.
- 1:06:56But we really don't have any excuse not to be fed and supplemented.
- 1:07:01There's so many sources out there that we can learn to read our Bible,
- 1:07:07learn to study our Bible.
- 1:07:08I know we're going to be covering some of that in some of these episodes.
- 1:07:11You know what I would recommend, Alan, too, is like, if somebody's struggling
- 1:07:15with that, go back to our The Law of Christian Fellowship episode.
- 1:07:19Listen to that. Go back and study those. Because that's how you balance out
- 1:07:24going to a church where you may not agree with everybody.
- 1:07:27Because at the end of the day, the more you learn that Bible,
- 1:07:29you are going to get to a point where you don't agree with anybody.
- 1:07:33But you're going to have to figure out how to live with them.
- 1:07:35You're going to have to figure out how to fellowship with them.
- 1:07:38You're going to have to figure out how to work with them hand-in-hand in the ministry.
- 1:07:43Good stuff. All right. I think we are at time, but maybe we'll have a few more
- 1:07:48minutes to talk about the Epstein Files. No, just kidding.
- 1:07:51Yeah, maybe, man. I'm telling you what, let's put it this way.
- 1:07:55I think there's going to be enough material on that probably to last us our lifetime.
- 1:08:01It's just going to go, I can only imagine. But, you know, again,
- 1:08:04you know, part of me, the conspiracy theorist type in me wants to dig into those details.
- 1:08:09But part of me is just sickened by it, to be honest with you.
- 1:08:12I just, I just, I can't imagine what those people are going to have to face
- 1:08:17at the great white throne judgment.
- 1:08:19And, you know, rightly so. Rightly so. But these kids can't defend themselves.
- 1:08:25I mean, you know, we've murdered tens of millions of babies in mother's wombs in this decade.
- 1:08:31You know, we think how horrible it would be that, you know, and somebody was
- 1:08:36like, oh, you know, it's, it's a terrible thing to say that you're going to,
- 1:08:39you know, wrap a rock around a man's neck and throw him in the deepest sea.
- 1:08:43Really? If you understood what some of these people are involved with and how
- 1:08:48they abuse these children, to me, that that's mercy, to be honest with you.
- 1:08:54Pure evil honestly i just i can't you know
- 1:08:56you and i have kids of our own man and i can't imagine i
- 1:08:59like how one guy said one time he was a
- 1:09:02he's a famous speaker i'm not i can't say what he
- 1:09:05said he cussed but he had he had a 14 year old daughter and she was giving a
- 1:09:09i guess it was like a ted talk or something and somebody in the audience said
- 1:09:14i love you will you marry me he stopped he her father was there he got up and
- 1:09:19he grabbed the mic and he says first of all my daughter's 14 years old.
- 1:09:23And no, you are not, you do not love her. And no, you are not going to marry her.
- 1:09:28And he said this, he goes, and you're not going to wait to where she's old enough for you to marry.
- 1:09:32Matter of fact, you're not going to have anything to do with her life.
- 1:09:34He goes, because if I ever see you around my daughter, he goes, I will kill you.
- 1:09:39And then he said this, and then
- 1:09:40I will spend the rest of my life in prison knowing I did the right thing.
- 1:09:44And I'm telling you, that's the kind of, that's how I feel about some of this stuff.
- 1:09:48When I hear about what was going on, how these kids were abused,
- 1:09:52and man, it makes them blood. It'll put a rise out of your flesh, that's for sure.
- 1:09:57And as a father of, you know, two girls, I can't.
- 1:10:01It's hard to wrap my mind around that kind of evil that occurs,
- 1:10:05and it just makes you want to. It's so wicked. So I think about in Jeremiah
- 1:10:08where, you know, God was telling them, he goes, you burn your children,
- 1:10:13your sons and daughters at the altar.
- 1:10:15And he says, that never even came in my mind.
- 1:10:19I mean, he goes, you've done things to your children. You've sacrificed them to these gods.
- 1:10:23And surprisingly, it's not unsurprisingly, I think, is some of the stuff that
- 1:10:29was revealed in the Epstein Files, is some of that was religious sacrificial worship.
- 1:10:34They admitted to it. I'm telling you, man, it's just sickening.
- 1:10:38It's just sickening, yeah. And it's been around for thousands of years.
- 1:10:42So I want Christ to come back soon, right? Yep, this world's not our home,
- 1:10:47man. And if nothing else will remind you, that should. Amen. Yeah.
- 1:10:53All right, bro. I think we'll call it quits there. Anything,
- 1:10:57any last words, any last rounds?
- 1:11:00Nope, nope. I think the next episode, we'll cover basically the last part of
- 1:11:07the angels. We'll be studying about the devil.
- 1:11:09I mean, we talked a little bit about him today, obviously, but we'll cover that up.
- 1:11:13And then, you know, the goal objective of that one will be one to highlight
- 1:11:18who the devil is biblically, doctrinally, and then kind of bring all of this
- 1:11:23angel stuff to conclusion, especially with, you know, connection with UFOs and whatnot.
- 1:11:28So, this is, you know, this has been kind of a crazy paranormal bit,
- 1:11:32you know, but I think it's important to understand it.
- 1:11:35I'm not saying that you invest your entire life in it, but I'm just saying you
- 1:11:39need to know the truth. So, you know, you might as well have a biblical answer for it, right?
- 1:11:44The truth is out there. We'll try to focus on that next episode. Yeah, sounds good.
- 1:11:50All right, well, we'll go ahead and close it off there. Thank you for listening.
- 1:11:53Any questions, please reach out. I know there's a lot of stuff that's being covered here.
- 1:11:57Happy to talk with anybody that's interested further about any of these specific topics.
- 1:12:03But go back and listen up to part one if you haven't yet to go through the first
- 1:12:08four or five mysteries. And then, of course, look forward to the next episodes
- 1:12:13that we're planning to do. We'll see everybody next week.
