7/7/26 The Jesus Scandal
Just as the Nicene Creed emphasizes the scandalous reality of the Incarnation - God becoming a limited human - it also challenges us to accept the ongoing scandal of the Church: that Christ continues to speak and guide us with authority through fallible human beings and institutions. While this requires profound humility and faith, embracing this truth grants us the incredible gift of hearing Christ's guiding voice on earth.
