Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everyone. Welcome back. My name is Chris Farah. And
- 0:09Speaker 1: besides being a YouTube star, I host Vanity Farah podcast,
- 0:13Speaker 1: where we talk about recaps of television shows we like
- 0:16Speaker 1: to watch, as well as what's happening in pop culture.
- 0:19Speaker 1: God bless RIP to the greats that we lost this week, Dolly, Tim,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and obviously, you know, from past weeks, Hayden, there's been
- 0:27Speaker 1: a lot of turmoil, um, In the pop culture, like
- 0:31Speaker 1: celebrity realm, you know, with deaths and with mental health.
- 0:35Speaker 1: So take care of yourselves, honestly. And, you know, tell
- 0:39Speaker 1: the people that you love that you love them. And
- 0:42Speaker 1: if you appreciated the talents and hearts of someone like,
- 0:46Speaker 1: you know, Dolly or someone, you know, make sure that
- 0:49Speaker 1: you take a little gift of their spirit and try and,
- 0:53Speaker 1: you know, give warmth like she would. Or... whatever you appreciate.
- 0:59Speaker 1: So I think that that's how we have people live eternally.
- 1:03Speaker 1: So God bless. We are here. We are talking. What
- 1:06Speaker 1: are we doing? We're talking. What's the subject? Honey, it's
- 1:09Speaker 1: 90 Day Fiance. It's season 12, episode 17. Are we
- 1:14Speaker 1: really doing this? Are we really doing this? My name
- 1:18Speaker 1: is Thomas. I live in the LBC. I talk like
- 1:21Speaker 1: I'm a 15-year-old. I talk like I'm I'm talking to
- 1:25Speaker 1: my mom, who's making me take a pause in my
- 1:27Speaker 1: video games to be like, I really think that it
- 1:30Speaker 1: might be like, what's important is my video games over homework, mom.
- 1:35Speaker 1: He gives that kind of vibe, except he's talking about
- 1:38Speaker 1: his relationship with, of course, Paola. I mean, we'll get
- 1:42Speaker 1: into it. I want to start actually with Rosh and Mallory. Okay. So...
- 1:48Speaker 1: By the way, if you haven't yet, make sure to
- 1:49Speaker 1: give this podcast five stars wherever you listen to it.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Or if you're watching on YouTube or something else, please like, subscribe, follow.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You can always follow me on Twitter. Sorry. Why do
- 2:02Speaker 1: I keep saying Twitter? It's because I've been saying it
- 2:03Speaker 1: so long. Instagram or, of course, TikTok. I'm at Chris L. Farah.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And I have a Patreon. It's dot com slash Chris Farah.
- 2:11Speaker 1: There's a lot of ways to, you know, get in touch, subscribe, help, follow.
- 2:17Speaker 1: just tease my algorithm or give me $ 5, just like
- 2:20Speaker 1: a realm of different free to like cheap possibilities to
- 2:24Speaker 1: get more meat. Um, at the same time, I'm excited
- 2:26Speaker 1: to jump in and we shall, because we are really
- 2:29Speaker 1: doing this. If the question was to me, like, Chris,
- 2:33Speaker 1: are you really doing this? Like this recap? My answer
- 2:36Speaker 1: is yes. So, okay. Um, Now we, of course, are starting,
- 2:44Speaker 1: as I said, with Rashid and Mallory. She's groggy in
- 2:48Speaker 1: the morning, honey. She's had a long night, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: even though he's the one that was like face deep
- 2:53Speaker 1: in like, you know, stripper booty. And she was just
- 2:56Speaker 1: basically at some sort of half filled bar with her friends.
- 3:02Speaker 1: She's acting like, you know, she spent the night, honey,
- 3:05Speaker 1: with Katie and her friends. Ha ha ha. Anyway, she
- 3:07Speaker 1: has a very interesting sleep mask. Like, it's weird. It's
- 3:14Speaker 1: a sleep mask, surely. It's whole head with only like
- 3:19Speaker 1: a little round kind of half moon cut out just
- 3:24Speaker 1: for her little nose. And yeah, it's very thin. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: then there's what I'm assuming is room on top, like
- 3:32Speaker 1: a little vacant space upstairs. Whereas if she needed to
- 3:37Speaker 1: do a high bun, like there'd be room for that. However,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it looks like a condom. It looks like a condom.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Is what I said. It looks like a condom. Okay. Okay.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Surely I will tell you that, you know, my bougie
- 3:57Speaker 1: ass got into those sleep silk slip, whatever, slip masks.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Too many S's. It's called slip silk masks. I think
- 4:05Speaker 1: it's not. Anyway, you're talking about. And I really enjoy them.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Is that what they're called? Or a different brand? Drowsy
- 4:11Speaker 1: or something? Maybe there's drowsy. It's drowsy. God bless. You
- 4:13Speaker 1: would think I would know. It's all the same. There's blizzy,
- 4:16Speaker 1: there's drowsy. It's like too many things. I think it
- 4:18Speaker 1: might be drowsy, but anyway, God bless. I have three
- 4:20Speaker 1: and I do love them. And they're like padded silk. Like,
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know, they're real fancy, look super cute on. I
- 4:25Speaker 1: have one that's black with like ruffles. I have one
- 4:27Speaker 1: that's like turquoise blue that has like fake eyelashes. God bless,
- 4:30Speaker 1: like made from yarn. Come on. Just how like Cabbage
- 4:33Speaker 1: Patch used to have like yarn hair. You know what
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm saying? Hers looks not comfortable. Okay. It looks light, surely.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It just looks like, The entire head being encompassed would
- 4:47Speaker 1: give me sensory nightmare issues. Like it's too tight around
- 4:52Speaker 1: my entire cabeza. All my ears covered with that. He
- 4:57Speaker 1: pinches the top. I'm like, oh my God, it does
- 4:59Speaker 1: look like she made her head into literally a penis
- 5:01Speaker 1: in a condom. Now, I like her. I like her
- 5:04Speaker 1: a lot. Also on Reddit, someone said this. And it's
- 5:09Speaker 1: 100% true. And once I show it to you, you
- 5:13Speaker 1: can't unsee it, which is that Mallory is the doppelganger
- 5:19Speaker 1: of Alison Pill, who is an actress. Alison Pill, who
- 5:24Speaker 1: was in Newsroom or Guess What? I don't know how
- 5:25Speaker 1: you know Alison Pill. Now, I'll tell you how I
- 5:28Speaker 1: know her, honey. She played the most beautiful Sonia in
- 5:33Speaker 1: Uncle Vanya at Lincoln Center when Steve Carell was in it.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Her little heart was so strong and beautiful and earnest
- 5:47Speaker 1: and God, what a beautiful performance. And I'm a huge fan.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I could cry right now. Okay. And I'm back, but
- 5:55Speaker 1: don't they look identical? Oh my God. Okay. So, you know, she,
- 6:05Speaker 1: as I said, in bed, going through it, he jumps
- 6:09Speaker 1: over her, you know, and then she's like, well, it
- 6:11Speaker 1: looks like you had fun last night. Now we're like
- 6:13Speaker 1: starting to see that, you know, he's, he has given
- 6:16Speaker 1: us his personalities being in love with her, highly emotional, right?
- 6:20Speaker 1: Those are the things we know about him, somewhat shy
- 6:23Speaker 1: around things. And yet, obviously on the streets, we've been
- 6:26Speaker 1: knowing that he doesn't, he does not back down from
- 6:29Speaker 1: being kind of a weird, creepy tool on, TikTok and whatnot.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So we're still in the realm of like, you know,
- 6:39Speaker 1: he went to a strip club and he doesn't know,
- 6:41Speaker 1: you know what it's going to be like. And so
- 6:43Speaker 1: she's like, Brandy sent a pic and he's like, fuck Brandy.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And She sends, she like shows him a pic. He's like,
- 6:51Speaker 1: look at us. Now here's the thing. However you think
- 6:55Speaker 1: about Rosh or wherever he is online, I will say
- 6:56Speaker 1: in this moment, I'm just gonna forget about that and say,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I of course like the fact that this feels like
- 7:01Speaker 1: a normal relationship. Like she's not getting upset. She's not like,
- 7:05Speaker 1: how fucking dare you? You just got, you know, to
- 7:08Speaker 1: hang out with Brandy. And now you have, you know,
- 7:10Speaker 1: like he took you to a strip club. Like she's
- 7:12Speaker 1: not feigning some upsetness about this. Like, in fact, he
- 7:17Speaker 1: can say things like, look at us. And also makes
- 7:20Speaker 1: me horny. She's like, it makes you horny? He's like, yeah. Like,
- 7:26Speaker 1: cause you know, that's normal couple. Well, I don't know.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I want to say normal. There's a spectrum to these things,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but like, you know, that's couple talk. Like it's totally
- 7:40Speaker 1: fine to have, I don't know, your Beyonce, go to
- 7:44Speaker 1: a strip club and like, you know, or vice versa,
- 7:47Speaker 1: get a stripper delivered to you, whatever, and like have
- 7:50Speaker 1: some fun and then be able to joke around like,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you know, how was this person? Well, he was, I think,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know, like you can like, you know, be a
- 7:59Speaker 1: little like. I don't know, cutesy and flirty with it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And I guess that the other thing about it is
- 8:05Speaker 1: the fact that they can do that is testimony to
- 8:08Speaker 1: a certain security they have in their relationship, right? Conversely,
- 8:12Speaker 1: if they were fighting, they'd be like, oh my God,
- 8:14Speaker 1: God bless. But the fact that they can kind of
- 8:17Speaker 1: joke about this and not be in the throes of
- 8:23Speaker 1: a almost wedding, pre-wedding nightmare fight, obviously means... That they
- 8:30Speaker 1: are a non-toxic couple. At least what they're portraying. They could, again,
- 8:36Speaker 1: like I said, portray something else. We've seen it. So
- 8:42Speaker 1: she's like, well, I have a lot to do. I
- 8:43Speaker 1: have to pick up your outfit. I have to pick
- 8:44Speaker 1: up my outfit. And I have to get a spray tan, honey.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's the day before the wedding. And he's like, okay,
- 8:49Speaker 1: am I going to meet your dad? And she's like, no,
- 8:50Speaker 1: my dad's not coming. And he's like, oh, your dad
- 8:52Speaker 1: is so stupid. So idiot. And of course it's because
- 8:56Speaker 1: her dad is, you know, Islamophobic. So God bless. And
- 9:02Speaker 1: probably other things, you know what I'm saying? So he, she,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you know, assures him that they will, however, be celebrated
- 9:10Speaker 1: by people that truly love them and that are normal, cool,
- 9:13Speaker 1: chill people that like, you know, deserve to have them
- 9:17Speaker 1: in their lives. Because, you know, it's funny. It's like, it's, it's,
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's a, hmm. There's a boundary between cutting people out
- 9:30Speaker 1: of your life that causes you undue turmoil. And there's
- 9:36Speaker 1: a difference when you cut someone out of your life
- 9:40Speaker 1: because you feel like they've made a choice in their
- 9:45Speaker 1: life that you feel is a mistake. And it's interesting how...
- 9:56Speaker 1: what people think are mistakes. and how much they have
- 10:02Speaker 1: allowed themselves to truly see up close and personal what
- 10:07Speaker 1: the actual situation is without like a predetermined, you know,
- 10:12Speaker 1: judging a book by its cover because he's never met Rash. Now,
- 10:17Speaker 1: we know because we've seen it. That someone can come
- 10:21Speaker 1: from a different country and, you know, like subscribe to
- 10:24Speaker 1: Islam and be, you know, perhaps persuasive about changing someone's,
- 10:34Speaker 1: a lady's fashion or religion. We've seen that literally, you know, obviously.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Like Adnan or Tiger Lily or like Nicole, you know,
- 10:45Speaker 1: obviously it's like we've seen that. And he's not that.
- 10:49Speaker 1: It's almost like, did Mallory's dad watch every season of
- 10:53Speaker 1: 90 Day Fiancé and then Mallory called him? Because he's
- 10:56Speaker 1: like a super fan. Maybe he's in whatever. And she
- 10:58Speaker 1: was like, you know, dad, I want to get close
- 11:00Speaker 1: to you. And guess what? We're going to be on
- 11:01Speaker 1: your favorite show, 90 Day Fiancé. She's like, he's like, what? How?
- 11:04Speaker 1: He's like, she's like, I met someone. He's like, don't
- 11:06Speaker 1: you dare tell me it's from a country that she's like, yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: it's Turkey. You know? And he was like, oh my God.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And then she's like, I want you to be on
- 11:12Speaker 1: the show. We haven't talked in a long time. You
- 11:14Speaker 1: have to come to the wedding. And he was like, no, Adnan. Sorry. Sorry.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I won't. She's like, you haven't even met him. He's like, no,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I don't need to. I've seen what can happen. She's like, no,
- 11:26Speaker 1: he's not like Adnan, dad. He's like literally super chill.
- 11:30Speaker 1: He cries all... Dad, he cries all the time. Like just,
- 11:35Speaker 1: you know, I mean, just, you know, if it happens, just,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you know, let it happen. Like, don't be weird about it. Like,
- 11:40Speaker 1: don't judge him as being like, whatever, not a man.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Just like... Don't give any faces. Just try and be like, oh,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you know, and like tap his back. Dad, please. You know? Okay.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Because I feel like she probably gave her mom that
- 11:53Speaker 1: talk too. I'm not, I'm just kidding. Okay. Am I? Okay.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's funny. So he obviously
- 12:04Speaker 1: is not coming, but she is going to meet up
- 12:06Speaker 1: with her mom and her sister Paige. And I'm obviously,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm excited for her to get a spray tan. It's interesting. It's,
- 12:14Speaker 1: been so long since I've gotten a spray tan and it's,
- 12:16Speaker 1: there's so few and far between moments in which I
- 12:19Speaker 1: would get a spray tan, even though I'm not the color,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you know, I would, I, I think I look good
- 12:24Speaker 1: at skin tone wise. And two things, there's a lot
- 12:28Speaker 1: of things involved in that. A, I really vacillate between
- 12:32Speaker 1: like what I am now and a much tanner color,
- 12:36Speaker 1: you know, when I've had appropriate sun activity. Now Even
- 12:40Speaker 1: though I live in California, and we're in the middle
- 12:43Speaker 1: of summer, you'd be like, bitch, go get some sun.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And I'm going to be like, I can't. It's too hot.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And this is even the craziest part. I'm low on
- 12:53Speaker 1: vitamin D right now. I'm low on vitamin D right now.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You'd think I lived in Alaska. I don't. So stupid. Anyway, okay, so...
- 13:06Speaker 1: you know, her skin on that white dress, honey. Great.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And I would do it too. I'm wearing a white dress.
- 13:10Speaker 1: By the way, we're in obviously part one and part
- 13:13Speaker 1: two of weddings. These are like the pre and, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 1: pre and wedding days of some couples. This episode did
- 13:21Speaker 1: not have Shay and Annabelle. Okay. And also besides the
- 13:24Speaker 1: fact that it's called, are we really doing this? It
- 13:27Speaker 1: could be called mommy issues. Getting back to the story.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That's my segue. Okay. Obviously Mallory goes to her super
- 13:34Speaker 1: cute venue and she's wearing an adorable, it's like a
- 13:38Speaker 1: blue velvet, like onesie jumper. Oh my God. With this
- 13:41Speaker 1: like interesting neckline. Yes, honey. Like in a sand colored
- 13:44Speaker 1: cowboy hat. And of course she's waiting for her mom.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Like I said, it's been a year since they've seen
- 13:48Speaker 1: each other. So like, oh, okay. Well, what's the story there? And, um,
- 13:53Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, I've had a rocky relationship with my mom,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but after a I had that accident. She drove like
- 14:01Speaker 1: 15 hours. She really showed up. And so we've been
- 14:04Speaker 1: kind of like coming back. And yet since that happened,
- 14:06Speaker 1: they've also haven't talked in a year. So, you know, interesting.
- 14:09Speaker 1: She's been going back and forth, I guess, to Turkey.
- 14:11Speaker 1: So what's been like happening in the year? Because when
- 14:15Speaker 1: we meet her mom, her mom seems to truly have
- 14:18Speaker 1: turned a leaf and seems to regret not being more,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I guess, discerning or present about in the lives of
- 14:29Speaker 1: her children after the divorce so that they would feel secure.
- 14:39Speaker 1: We don't know exactly what transpired other than Mallory's parents
- 14:46Speaker 1: get divorced. She lives with her mom and she describes
- 14:49Speaker 1: a period where her mom was like finding herself, but
- 14:52Speaker 1: also it made Mallory feel like she didn't have a mom.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And that felt like being abandoned. And she really resented
- 15:06Speaker 1: her mom for that. And the pain of that is
- 15:09Speaker 1: very fresh and palpable. All the ladies cry, Paige, her,
- 15:14Speaker 1: her mom. And her mom has what seemingly is a
- 15:20Speaker 1: very open heart to this. She's not defensive. She's not like, well,
- 15:27Speaker 1: you know what? You try raising two kids. She didn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: say any of that. She's like, I'm so sorry. Thank
- 15:35Speaker 1: you for telling me. There are some things you don't
- 15:39Speaker 1: know that happened between your dad and I. And I'm
- 15:43Speaker 1: sure there were. Because you can't tell your children everything.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Sometimes you protect them. Sometimes things are personal. Sometimes things
- 15:50Speaker 1: are like, you know, there's so many options of why
- 15:52Speaker 1: you can't tell a child everything. And nor would they
- 15:55Speaker 1: even understand? And there's a lot. So I guess, yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I wonder why they haven't talked in the year though,
- 16:02Speaker 1: because again, like we're seeing Mallory's mom and it does
- 16:08Speaker 1: feel like this person has done an amount of soul
- 16:12Speaker 1: searching and or therapy work. She seems to, like I said,
- 16:17Speaker 1: be able to sit with her past and take accountability
- 16:21Speaker 1: and responsibility for its effect and On those most vulnerable
- 16:26Speaker 1: and those that she, you know, chose to bring in
- 16:28Speaker 1: this world and that she was supposed to protect, right?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Her children. And having like the emotional, I guess, intelligence
- 16:36Speaker 1: to like sit with that and understand the ramifications of
- 16:41Speaker 1: her behavior on Mallory is that Mallory... has a lot
- 16:46Speaker 1: of trepidation over having children and being a mom and
- 16:50Speaker 1: having kids, you know, because Mallory's like, what if it
- 16:52Speaker 1: doesn't work out because I saw this and I don't
- 16:54Speaker 1: want my kids to hate me. Like I, like I,
- 16:58Speaker 1: you know, she kind of says something along the lines
- 17:01Speaker 1: of that. And Mallory's mom has to like hear that.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And again, on camera, not be petty or weird or
- 17:12Speaker 1: try to save face or vain or throw it back
- 17:15Speaker 1: at her or defensive, you know, in a very like
- 17:18Speaker 1: emotionally unintelligent, scared, you know, lashing out kind of way,
- 17:23Speaker 1: which happens all the time. And it is the reaction
- 17:30Speaker 1: that I think that is the reaction that keeps me
- 17:35Speaker 1: from most confrontation. It is really hard. if you have
- 17:42Speaker 1: to say something truthful to someone and you fear any
- 17:47Speaker 1: of those reactions. Now, the only work you can do
- 17:54Speaker 1: if you're like a me or if you're like, you know,
- 17:56Speaker 1: a Mallory, and this again didn't happen between Mallory and
- 17:58Speaker 1: Mallory's mom, but if this rings true to you, of course,
- 18:01Speaker 1: is know you don't have control over anyone's life or
- 18:07Speaker 1: the way they act. and you have to divorce yourself,
- 18:10Speaker 1: just like Mallory's parents did, and my parents did, sorry,
- 18:15Speaker 1: of wanting to control them and letting yourself be so
- 18:24Speaker 1: brought into caring about their reaction that it makes you
- 18:31Speaker 1: experience pain or panic. And I think it requires... cognitive
- 18:38Speaker 1: behavioral therapy, breath work, some amount of like detachment or
- 18:45Speaker 1: an awareness of a certain pattern, and then be able
- 18:50Speaker 1: to slow that moment down when it's happening in real time.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And then just be like, you know, well, if I
- 18:58Speaker 1: need to say my truth, I'm going to say it
- 19:00Speaker 1: the kindest, best, most communicative, respectful way possible for myself
- 19:06Speaker 1: and for like my sort of like universal relationship with
- 19:09Speaker 1: communication itself, with like how I want to express myself
- 19:12Speaker 1: in this world, therefore also like low-key hoping that it
- 19:15Speaker 1: returns back to me in some way. Okay. So that's
- 19:18Speaker 1: one thing. And then also be practicing that. So like
- 19:20Speaker 1: if I can show up and say something truthful to
- 19:22Speaker 1: someone and then allow them to do them, breathe through
- 19:28Speaker 1: what I'm going to experience as being their reaction, then
- 19:32Speaker 1: two things are going to happen. One is, It's going
- 19:35Speaker 1: to be the worst case scenario, whatever you think that is.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And you have to just practice again, breathing through it,
- 19:41Speaker 1: detaching and being like, well, that's their reaction. That has
- 19:45Speaker 1: nothing to do with me. I did what I had
- 19:47Speaker 1: to do. Show up, obviously. The second thing. would be,
- 19:50Speaker 1: oh no, it's not that reaction. And then if it's
- 19:52Speaker 1: a good reaction, like Mallory's mom, then perhaps past trauma
- 19:58Speaker 1: makes you or gives a habit of catastrophizing what could be,
- 20:05Speaker 1: therefore paralyzing you from doing it when it won't be
- 20:08Speaker 1: that bad. Anyway, food for thought. Okay, so basically she's like,
- 20:15Speaker 1: hey mom, hey sis, after all that, after we cried,
- 20:18Speaker 1: like talked about our feelings, really hashed it out, let's
- 20:20Speaker 1: start putting these flowers together. And I'm so happy that
- 20:23Speaker 1: Mallory's not doing like one of those like farmhouse weddings
- 20:26Speaker 1: from like, you know, the mid-aughts where there's like, you know,
- 20:28Speaker 1: twinkle lights and mason jars. Cause she could have. Cause
- 20:31Speaker 1: she's wearing a cowboy hat. Okay, God bless. I'm not
- 20:33Speaker 1: saying there's not twinkle lights. I'm not saying there's not
- 20:35Speaker 1: mason jars. They're just not heavily featured to a way
- 20:37Speaker 1: in which I was like, oh, thank God. I like
- 20:40Speaker 1: all the colors that are happening in this place. And
- 20:41Speaker 1: it's a really beautiful venue. She's like, yeah, you know,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I told him that he didn't have to sign the
- 20:46Speaker 1: prenup and he gave me two to three years to
- 20:48Speaker 1: not have kids and not bother me about them. They're like, what? Okay. Listen,
- 20:54Speaker 1: it's the night before the wedding. We barely see you.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So we're not gonna be able to like say anything
- 20:57Speaker 1: about that because you literally, when we walked in, we're like,
- 21:00Speaker 1: oh my God, I'm so happy you guys could make it.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And we had to be like, of course we would
- 21:04Speaker 1: make it. Why wouldn't we? But we both know there
- 21:06Speaker 1: was some sort of like misalignment with that you know
- 21:11Speaker 1: what I'm saying because it's yeah like if you're gonna
- 21:17Speaker 1: tell someone I'm so happy you made it to my
- 21:18Speaker 1: wedding and that person like gave birth to you you
- 21:20Speaker 1: know like that means something because it could be like
- 21:26Speaker 1: taken for granted that they would come you know um
- 21:29Speaker 1: so then god bless Rosh comes in and we're you
- 21:32Speaker 1: know his first time meeting Mallory's mom he's not gonna
- 21:34Speaker 1: meet Mallory's dad and He comes in, honey, like a
- 21:38Speaker 1: bat out of hell that has just chopped some onions. Honey,
- 21:46Speaker 1: he is, and it's cute because we know that he
- 21:49Speaker 1: is a sensitive soul, though he seems thick skinned. He cries,
- 21:55Speaker 1: he's just like, he comes in excited to meet Mallory's
- 21:58Speaker 1: mom and he turns the bend because Mallory's mom is
- 22:01Speaker 1: like behind what is like a vase of flowers, quite
- 22:05Speaker 1: tall flowers. And it's like he lays eyes upon Mallory's
- 22:10Speaker 1: mom's face and everything hits him in a way that
- 22:15Speaker 1: is unspeakable. He is unable to speak. He breaks. He weeps.
- 22:25Speaker 1: He behoos. He behoos. You know, it's, you know, I...
- 22:37Speaker 1: whether he's like loves his mom so much and he's
- 22:39Speaker 1: not gonna meet her dad. And so the seeing her mom,
- 22:42Speaker 1: like reminds him of like his mom and the fact
- 22:43Speaker 1: that his parents aren't there. Like what, if it's something
- 22:46Speaker 1: like that and maybe it is, or, you know, I,
- 22:50Speaker 1: he really can't deal, you know, and Mallory's mom is
- 22:53Speaker 1: being really super sweet. Like I said, Mallory's like, has
- 22:58Speaker 1: like a sort of like interesting reaction, which is, empathetic
- 23:05Speaker 1: towards him not overly because she's also a little bit
- 23:11Speaker 1: weirded out doesn't know exactly what's happening also she's just
- 23:15Speaker 1: been crying with her mom and her sister about like
- 23:17Speaker 1: you know their whole past so I think it's just
- 23:21Speaker 1: like confusing to her like what has happened and how
- 23:24Speaker 1: you know it's like she just got over crying you
- 23:26Speaker 1: know god yeah Okay, so he can't compose himself, honey.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He has to walk off. His friend's there, you know,
- 23:33Speaker 1: he just walks off. Like Mallory's just there with her mom.
- 23:35Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, you know, he just really loves me, ma.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You know, he really loves me. Unlike how dad and
- 23:43Speaker 1: you loved each other. So, oh, she did say that.
- 23:47Speaker 1: We'll see what happens. All right, my loves, let's move
- 23:49Speaker 1: on to Mito and Debbie. Can you, oh my God,
- 23:54Speaker 1: can you believe it? I'm so happy. So she's wearing like, okay,
- 23:57Speaker 1: this is the day of the wedding. a champagne body
- 24:01Speaker 1: con dress, and it's equal parts sexy and also modest.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It has long sleeves. It has like a ruched kind
- 24:09Speaker 1: of like gathered waist. Now where I was like, no, Debbie, no,
- 24:12Speaker 1: because this is New Orleans, her favorite city. So I'm like,
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know, but why did you make this option for
- 24:17Speaker 1: her yourself? Is that she wore what looks like cream colored,
- 24:23Speaker 1: like more than misty, if not opaque stockings, nylons. And
- 24:32Speaker 1: I understand, like, wanting to maybe do that if you
- 24:37Speaker 1: want this Spank style, like, shapewear aspect. But then she
- 24:46Speaker 1: was really, really beige-y champagne. Like, head to toe, like,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you know, just then it was all, like, her shoes, like,
- 24:52Speaker 1: everything was. Like, then she became a stick, like a
- 24:56Speaker 1: beige-y champagne stick. However, one thing is, does this hotel
- 25:03Speaker 1: that they are going and staying at and having like,
- 25:05Speaker 1: you know, their pre and post wedding at, doesn't it
- 25:09Speaker 1: look fabulous? The Hotel St. Vincent. It's like very eclectic,
- 25:13Speaker 1: very bohemian. Oh my God. I honestly love New Orleans too.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Like the wallpaper, honey, when in this bathroom, at first
- 25:21Speaker 1: he comes in and he like wants to be in
- 25:23Speaker 1: the bathroom, but she's there and he's like, uh-huh. So
- 25:25Speaker 1: he tries to like scare her out of there. She's like,
- 25:27Speaker 1: ha ha ha. No, I'm in the bathroom with this wallpaper, honey.
- 25:30Speaker 1: He knows he wants to get in there and take
- 25:32Speaker 1: A all the time and all the sprays in the
- 25:33Speaker 1: world and all the selfies in the world in front
- 25:36Speaker 1: of that wallpaper, honey. That's what he wants to do.
- 25:38Speaker 1: So basically she's like, are you ready? He's not ready.
- 25:43Speaker 1: She's like, okay, we're meeting across the street. Just meet
- 25:46Speaker 1: me there. He's like, okay. Now he be running late.
- 25:49Speaker 1: He's like me and Katie. We are people that run
- 25:52Speaker 1: late because we're narcissists. we think the world should be
- 25:55Speaker 1: on our time and or time doesn't really exist. One
- 25:57Speaker 1: of those things. No, I don't know. My problems are,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to get over them truly. We have seen
- 26:04Speaker 1: this again and I just talked about it. Mito loves
- 26:08Speaker 1: the sensory experience of spraying things on him. Now, everything
- 26:16Speaker 1: he sprays on him has the exact same amount of sprays,
- 26:21Speaker 1: which is 45, like a 45 kind of ish sprays
- 26:31Speaker 1: per item, no matter what the item is. Now, listen,
- 26:36Speaker 1: perfume should be like one spray, walk through a spray period.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Maybe like if it's something on a temple or something
- 26:47Speaker 1: on like a wrist, hairspray is like three seconds, almost
- 26:53Speaker 1: like coconut spray or something like, you know, on a pan.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It's just that from what looks like body spray to
- 27:03Speaker 1: any serum on his face, it's a lot. The only
- 27:07Speaker 1: spray that he does that I will give him requires
- 27:10Speaker 1: that amount is maybe the water that he is using
- 27:14Speaker 1: to re-scrunch curl his hair. You know what I'm saying?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Revitalize them curls. Because that's what he's doing. So back
- 27:24Speaker 1: at the park now, Debbie's there with her children who
- 27:28Speaker 1: are allowing this to happen. So what are we going
- 27:34Speaker 1: to do? You know, this is what's happening. Clayton has
- 27:36Speaker 1: shown up in the suit that he's showing up in.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Devin's wearing like an almost too sensible cardigan. Is it
- 27:44Speaker 1: really cold in New Orleans on this day? God, I
- 27:50Speaker 1: would love to give Devin a makeover. My God, would
- 27:54Speaker 1: I love to give that girl a makeover. And it's
- 27:58Speaker 1: just that, I think that, you know, it's just that
- 28:00Speaker 1: we've seen a lot of the same look and the
- 28:01Speaker 1: same look is kind of just like hair, barely any makeup,
- 28:07Speaker 1: you know, like I would love to like see what
- 28:10Speaker 1: that skin could look like with like some, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 1: kind of basic moisturization and like, you know, glow aspect,
- 28:16Speaker 1: not to be like Asha about her, I would love
- 28:20Speaker 1: to see her with some different makeup, of course, and
- 28:23Speaker 1: some different styling. Anyway, God bless. In this park, Alonzo
- 28:28Speaker 1: is the officiant, and he's super kind and says things like,
- 28:32Speaker 1: I hear you, and I understand, when told that the
- 28:36Speaker 1: groom is not there yet. And that he's kind of
- 28:40Speaker 1: a weird prankster that often runs late from Egypt. Like, okay. So, meanwhile, Mido, again,
- 28:47Speaker 1: is spraying more perfume, and in that Finally, that bathroom
- 28:50Speaker 1: again with the wallpaper. And you know what he's doing
- 28:52Speaker 1: is he's taking a lot of selfies. You know that
- 28:55Speaker 1: he wants to like be poised in that mirror with
- 28:58Speaker 1: the camera. God bless. He's now wearing his outfit, which
- 29:08Speaker 1: he had described as like a tuxedo. It's like a
- 29:10Speaker 1: black velvet suit. It must be, it must be like
- 29:17Speaker 1: cold there. Yeah, it is Christmas. So it's cold there.
- 29:19Speaker 1: That's what's happening. Okay. Now he decides to do one
- 29:24Speaker 1: of his classic Egyptian pranks. Just kidding. It's actually a
- 29:26Speaker 1: good one, which is that he has somehow procured producers,
- 29:31Speaker 1: a jazz brass band to follow behind him and like
- 29:36Speaker 1: give him a typical New Orleans entrance where he is
- 29:39Speaker 1: just hamming it up. Honey, like he's that conductor, you know,
- 29:43Speaker 1: like 76 trombones, the music man, you know what I'm saying?
- 29:46Speaker 1: He really is just like coming in hot and she
- 29:49Speaker 1: loves it. And she is just like, thank you so
- 29:51Speaker 1: much for thinking of me. He knows how much I
- 29:54Speaker 1: love New Orleans. So he did this for me. He
- 29:55Speaker 1: really wanted to incorporate my culture, you know? And I'm like, well,
- 30:00Speaker 1: I guess. Okay. I wonder if there's going to be
- 30:06Speaker 1: any incorporation of like Egypt in this at all. I mean,
- 30:09Speaker 1: there is no one at this wedding, obviously. So when the,
- 30:13Speaker 1: like the four piece brass band comes, basically that like
- 30:20Speaker 1: is half of what's happening in the actual party. Like
- 30:23Speaker 1: that's the, that is half of the wedding is now
- 30:26Speaker 1: here because of that band. Thank God he paid for them.
- 30:29Speaker 1: None of her friends, none of her family, none of
- 30:33Speaker 1: her friends, none of her family, none of her coworkers,
- 30:39Speaker 1: none of her clients that she oversells insurance to. Not
- 30:43Speaker 1: even her Louis Vuitton sales associate will come to this
- 30:48Speaker 1: park outside of the St. Vincent Hotel. I wonder if
- 30:54Speaker 1: it's because she didn't want to pay for like an
- 30:57Speaker 1: after party. Yeah, like at reception. She'd rather just go
- 31:03Speaker 1: back to the hotel, order room service and like, you know, bone, fuck,
- 31:07Speaker 1: which is what they're going to do. Which by the way,
- 31:09Speaker 1: I love room service. Oh my God, is there anything
- 31:11Speaker 1: better than room service? And like a nice cute hotel
- 31:14Speaker 1: when the bed is comfortable. My God. So, but before
- 31:18Speaker 1: that happens though, the Alonzo, Alonzo the officiant, like take
- 31:24Speaker 1: some liberties, I think with this ceremony. He goes, welcome
- 31:28Speaker 1: to the eternal love ceremony. which I thought was like,
- 31:31Speaker 1: what are we, like the 1960s? Is this like the
- 31:33Speaker 1: hippie situation? Like you turn a lot, like, is this like,
- 31:35Speaker 1: we're going to drop acid in this park? I mean,
- 31:39Speaker 1: Woodstock's about to happen. And then he goes, Debbie traveled 6,000
- 31:43Speaker 1: miles and guess who the tour guide was? Well, he's
- 31:47Speaker 1: here today, Mito. And we're like, just his phrasing is
- 31:52Speaker 1: just like a little, well, it's kitschy. It's not traditional.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I don't mind it. And then at the end, of
- 32:01Speaker 1: the vows. They kiss, but they Eskimo kiss. Eskimo kiss.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Eskimo kiss. Nothing is as hot as an Eskimo kiss.
- 32:13Speaker 1: And I can't, I'm so sorry. You know what? I
- 32:15Speaker 1: don't think you can say that anymore. Oh no. I'm
- 32:17Speaker 1: so sorry. What do you say that? Oh no. I'm
- 32:20Speaker 1: so 90s. Sorry. What do you do now when you
- 32:24Speaker 1: rub your nose, when you call that, when you rub
- 32:26Speaker 1: your noses together? Who knows what that is? nose. Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 1: You tell me, but sorry. Also don't hold it against me.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I forgot. Um, so hours later, of course back. Um,
- 32:40Speaker 1: so this was also, sorry, I totally forgot this part.
- 32:42Speaker 1: So at the park, they start taking pictures, right? They're
- 32:45Speaker 1: taking pictures and the pictures that they are taking for
- 32:48Speaker 1: this wedding, which now seems to be longer than the
- 32:51Speaker 1: ceremony are some of the most awkward pictures I could
- 32:57Speaker 1: possibly see anyone taking. They're the kind of pictures where
- 33:05Speaker 1: Lisa Kudrow in the comeback as Valerie Cherish would cringe.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You know, she'd be like, oh, too much. In one picture,
- 33:15Speaker 1: she's holding her bouquet and he's like going to try
- 33:19Speaker 1: and grab after it. Almost as if he's like her
- 33:23Speaker 1: bridesmaid trying to get the bouquet and like signifying that
- 33:27Speaker 1: he's going to get married soon. In one picture, she's
- 33:30Speaker 1: smiling and he's giving eyes like, I'm about to eat
- 33:36Speaker 1: the biggest piece of chocolate cake the world's ever seen.
- 33:40Speaker 1: There's just, it's staged truly. And all the pictures are
- 33:47Speaker 1: playing at something. Oh, I forget. Okay. So then they're
- 33:50Speaker 1: all horrible, right? So then we go back to the St.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Vincent Hotel and they take more pictures. Okay. A couple
- 33:55Speaker 1: of pictures. And then the photographer is like, can I
- 33:56Speaker 1: fucking leave? Because you're not going to even be able
- 33:58Speaker 1: to give me food or something at the end of this.
- 33:59Speaker 1: You're not going to pay for my room service. God bless.
- 34:02Speaker 1: And Mito's like, oh, before you leave, buddy, a couple headshots?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Because obviously, Mito cares more about his acting career. And
- 34:11Speaker 1: he does. He takes headshots. And the guy's like, oh, okay.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And I want to be like, are you going to
- 34:16Speaker 1: charge him extra? Mito wants to be like, look, if
- 34:18Speaker 1: he's going to be there to take wedding pictures, why
- 34:19Speaker 1: not the headshots? And I want to be like, yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 1: I feel like that'd be a different, be more expensive thing. Anyway,
- 34:29Speaker 1: but he takes off his jacket and the guy's like, okay,
- 34:31Speaker 1: look over your shoulder and look at me. And the
- 34:32Speaker 1: way that Mito does it is so Mito, which is
- 34:36Speaker 1: too macho. It's interesting because when he's not trying, he's fine.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And when he's trying, it's too much, which is, I'll
- 34:50Speaker 1: tell you, honestly, something as an actor happens and have
- 34:55Speaker 1: done it too. One of the worst parts of watching
- 35:02Speaker 1: bad acting is someone trying to act or someone acting
- 35:05Speaker 1: or someone like considering the fact that they're acting. And
- 35:08Speaker 1: the best acting you can ever see is someone just
- 35:11Speaker 1: somehow being. Being somehow like in some sort of zone
- 35:16Speaker 1: of a real moment or reactive or sort of just like,
- 35:19Speaker 1: you know, whatever acting is where they are just... Not
- 35:25Speaker 1: acting like as a third person or as like a...
- 35:29Speaker 1: like a middleman, but just like a vessel. Anyway, having
- 35:33Speaker 1: said that, it's like he's acting in these shots. Like,
- 35:36Speaker 1: act like you, you know, love her. Act like you
- 35:39Speaker 1: are excited that she's in your nook and you're closing
- 35:41Speaker 1: your eyes. Like, it's like, it's so funny. I don't, I,
- 35:45Speaker 1: it's hard though, I guess. She is playing at something
- 35:48Speaker 1: too with wanting like a young boyfriend. You know, it's,
- 35:52Speaker 1: everyone is getting something in the end. So we are really,
- 35:57Speaker 1: unfortunately with them, left with the very real truth that
- 36:01Speaker 1: they are supposedly going to have sex. And the funny
- 36:06Speaker 1: thing about them and the season is they're not the
- 36:09Speaker 1: only like celibate couple that hasn't had sex. And this
- 36:12Speaker 1: is the night of nights where, you know, they consummate
- 36:14Speaker 1: the relationship. Obviously, Aisha and Malcolm are, sorry, Maxwell are
- 36:19Speaker 1: the same way. And it's funny because Throughout Debbie and
- 36:30Speaker 1: Mito's drama, it was so drama-filled that it almost, like,
- 36:34Speaker 1: I forgot about this aspect of the relationship until much later.
- 36:38Speaker 1: And the weird thing is, kind of the same thing
- 36:40Speaker 1: with Aisha and Maxwell. Like, I keep forgetting that they
- 36:42Speaker 1: haven't had sex or they're not having sex or, like, they're,
- 36:45Speaker 1: you know, we are given the gift of, like, the
- 36:50Speaker 1: anxiety before and the morning after having never done that. Ugh,
- 36:55Speaker 1: what a gift, you know? So... She's like, I'm anxious.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Let's just be honest. To be my age and to
- 37:04Speaker 1: be taking someone's virginity, you wouldn't consider that. But since
- 37:08Speaker 1: he's a virgin, we're like, oh my God, come on.
- 37:11Speaker 1: She's like, I'm going to be the one driving the car.
- 37:14Speaker 1: We're like, what does that mean? You're going to be
- 37:18Speaker 1: on top? You're going to be like, this is how
- 37:21Speaker 1: you do it? This is how you put it in?
- 37:23Speaker 1: This is how you grind? This is a rhythm? This
- 37:25Speaker 1: is how you can do it? Oh, now we can
- 37:33Speaker 1: switch positions. Let's try this one. I mean, I do
- 37:39Speaker 1: would like to know. I do would like to know
- 37:41Speaker 1: is what I said. It's so uncomfortable for me to say.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I would like to know. I would. So he comes
- 37:49Speaker 1: in playfully, you know, the St. Vincent Hotel, which obviously, again,
- 37:52Speaker 1: looks super cute, does that kind of kitschy thing where
- 37:54Speaker 1: they have like adorable robes. You know, they're not the
- 37:57Speaker 1: kind of like super luxe kind of like bath spa
- 38:00Speaker 1: robes that are like, oh, these are comfortable and good
- 38:04Speaker 1: out of a shower or like cushy. They're the kind
- 38:07Speaker 1: of robes that are real thin, that are like hipster robes.
- 38:11Speaker 1: That's how I think of them. I don't quite like,
- 38:15Speaker 1: here's the thing about robes. You can have a lot
- 38:17Speaker 1: of different robes. I wouldn't, A cloth robe like that
- 38:20Speaker 1: that's just thin isn't for me because I would rather
- 38:23Speaker 1: it be silk for the same reason. Like then give
- 38:25Speaker 1: me a silk robe. You can use a terrycloth robes, right?
- 38:29Speaker 1: And then there's like the ones that are like microfiber
- 38:31Speaker 1: on the outside or the inside and then sort of
- 38:34Speaker 1: like a cushiony effect and then a different layer on
- 38:37Speaker 1: the outside. And those are like the spa robes. But yeah,
- 38:40Speaker 1: they're kind of like thin cotton, short sleeved kind of
- 38:43Speaker 1: kimono robes of like what looks like a scratchy cotton
- 38:47Speaker 1: or and or mix. polyester probably because it's from a
- 38:51Speaker 1: hotel and has to be cleaned. You know, I just
- 38:53Speaker 1: don't know if I want that. Then we're supposed to
- 38:57Speaker 1: like have him say things like, you know, she says
- 39:01Speaker 1: that she's going to be easy on me, but me, I,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I will not be easy on her. I will give
- 39:08Speaker 1: her no mercy. And I want to be like, well,
- 39:12Speaker 1: what does that Could you elaborate on that? Could you
- 39:20Speaker 1: please tell me more? I would like, like, what like
- 39:27Speaker 1: it's okay it's hilarious to me but also on brand
- 39:34Speaker 1: that certain people who know nothing or haven't done something
- 39:38Speaker 1: would be so quick to explain or tell someone A,
- 39:45Speaker 1: how to do it, or B, that they're going to
- 39:47Speaker 1: do it better than anyone else or has done it,
- 39:49Speaker 1: or C, that person's going to be impressed and or
- 39:53Speaker 1: be outdone by them. Like that, I feel like that
- 39:56Speaker 1: kind of conversation happens a lot. And, you know, probably
- 39:59Speaker 1: odds are percentage-wise, the person doing that is like male.
- 40:02Speaker 1: You know, it's just such a interesting characteristic of certain people,
- 40:08Speaker 1: surely also majority male, that have an undue confidence, that
- 40:14Speaker 1: also then results in mansplaining without taking into account what
- 40:18Speaker 1: the other person knows or might know. And often, yeah,
- 40:22Speaker 1: in this scenario, the other person is a female and
- 40:25Speaker 1: also knows more, has done it, you know, whatever. It's
- 40:30Speaker 1: just so, you know, I don't know. The way that
- 40:38Speaker 1: an ego is stroked and the way that things feel
- 40:41Speaker 1: good for people is... distasteful for others. In the toxic
- 40:48Speaker 1: feminine way, if I was to have made fun of heterosexual,
- 40:54Speaker 1: cisgender relationships in the way where men want to mansplain
- 40:58Speaker 1: or tell a woman how to do something or when
- 41:02Speaker 1: they're not very fluent in it, because that makes them
- 41:05Speaker 1: feel good about themselves or makes them feel like self-confident,
- 41:09Speaker 1: you know, the flip side would be like, oh, you know,
- 41:12Speaker 1: girls like male attention or they like being told they're pretty, right?
- 41:14Speaker 1: Like compliments or whatever, like that's the, you know, the
- 41:17Speaker 1: kind of equal hand in hand thing. It's interesting how
- 41:27Speaker 1: people allow their need for a dopamine hit to to
- 41:33Speaker 1: rule their behaviors and functions in society and whether they
- 41:39Speaker 1: are aware that their motives are obvious. And if they
- 41:48Speaker 1: are aware that their motives are obvious, do they even care?
- 41:52Speaker 1: Because it's the means to an end, the dopamine hit
- 41:54Speaker 1: that they want, right? It's so interesting to me. And
- 41:57Speaker 1: I know like that's a little heady, but like, Would
- 42:04Speaker 1: men keep mansplaining because they know they don't do it
- 42:07Speaker 1: or they know that when they do it and they
- 42:09Speaker 1: get to explain something, it feels so good, they can't
- 42:11Speaker 1: stop and they won't stop. Can't stop, won't stop. You know,
- 42:15Speaker 1: there's a lot of like, there's definitely on the other side,
- 42:19Speaker 1: like women who like to get male attention and like
- 42:22Speaker 1: do whatever they can to do so in certain ways
- 42:24Speaker 1: that are toxic. And women... whether they are shown the
- 42:28Speaker 1: way or they are aware of those things, whether they
- 42:30Speaker 1: would stop because sometimes attention and or that dopamine hit
- 42:35Speaker 1: is a drug and whether you can stop from it,
- 42:37Speaker 1: you know, whether if you've gotten accustomed to whoever your
- 42:41Speaker 1: supply of that is, if you can, I think that's
- 42:44Speaker 1: like why people get, you know, into sex addiction and
- 42:46Speaker 1: stuff like that. Um, I mean, I know, I know
- 42:52Speaker 1: that's a leap, but you know what I'm saying? It's like,
- 42:58Speaker 1: There's a lot of itches that need to be scratched.
- 43:02Speaker 1: And to try and find self-sustaining ways to make yourself
- 43:07Speaker 1: feel good or to make yourself feel confident or to
- 43:11Speaker 1: make yourself feel smart and or to not have to
- 43:15Speaker 1: feel those things because you in fact already do, you
- 43:19Speaker 1: already know you are. Like that is the ultimate work
- 43:25Speaker 1: to A, free yourself. So like you, again, kind of
- 43:28Speaker 1: back what I was saying, you take the control out
- 43:30Speaker 1: of anyone else's hands over how you feel about yourself,
- 43:33Speaker 1: how you move through this world. Like that's what you
- 43:36Speaker 1: do for yourself. But ultimately, I do think like being
- 43:43Speaker 1: able to do it though, or at least getting on
- 43:45Speaker 1: a road where you've made like an amount of progress
- 43:48Speaker 1: is wild emotional growth and evolution, right? I surely would
- 43:53Speaker 1: love more of it. Yeah. Remember when there were all
- 44:03Speaker 1: of those, like, I feel like it happened, like the
- 44:05Speaker 1: Instagram sort of, so I'm going to plug in my computer.
- 44:11Speaker 1: One second. Instagram trends of dopamine lists, maybe TikTok too.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Being able to pinpoint what makes you feel good and
- 44:26Speaker 1: how you can generate that for yourself so that you
- 44:28Speaker 1: aren't reliant on others is important. Because just like you
- 44:31Speaker 1: don't want to be reliant on someone else's reaction in
- 44:37Speaker 1: either way, good or bad, you want to be in
- 44:41Speaker 1: control of your emotions, both good and bad. And not
- 44:47Speaker 1: like a... allowing others to make those decisions for you,
- 44:51Speaker 1: whether you feel good about yourself or whether you are
- 44:54Speaker 1: truthful with your communication, whether you say what your heart
- 44:58Speaker 1: is saying or whether you hold on to resentment because
- 45:01Speaker 1: you're too afraid to say it because the reaction is
- 45:03Speaker 1: going to be awkward or whatever, or because, you know, whatever.
- 45:06Speaker 1: It's just so interesting. And that is like the inner
- 45:10Speaker 1: work that is annoying and painful and weird to do.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It's uncomfortable to do. Anyway, so we're going to see
- 45:24Speaker 1: what happens with their boning. We're going to see what
- 45:29Speaker 1: it's like for them. And whether we get super truthful answers,
- 45:34Speaker 1: we'll see how truthful is Debbie going to be? Because
- 45:39Speaker 1: woman to woman, I can't imagine having had sex for whatever,
- 45:44Speaker 1: 40 years, and then being with a virgin, and then honestly,
- 45:49Speaker 1: looking at camera and it was me, it's me though. Honestly,
- 45:53Speaker 1: having a moment where you could be like, you guys,
- 45:57Speaker 1: it was unbelievable. He blew my mind. I, I don't
- 46:03Speaker 1: know what to say. Like, I know that he's a virgin.
- 46:05Speaker 1: He was slow and fast and powerful and present in
- 46:11Speaker 1: the moment, just attuned to my every move and need.
- 46:15Speaker 1: He spend hours and he was deliberate. He was mindful, thoughtful.
- 46:21Speaker 1: He was incredibly patient. Also knew things I had never
- 46:29Speaker 1: seen anyone. Could you imagine that being the reaction? Like, no,
- 46:34Speaker 1: like we have to assume like Occam's razor, the logical
- 46:42Speaker 1: explanation of what would be the easiest one would be
- 46:45Speaker 1: that he is going to Do two things. Not be
- 46:48Speaker 1: able to perform for whatever reason that there could be
- 46:54Speaker 1: for that to not work out. Okay. So that's whatever
- 46:59Speaker 1: you're thinking. Or B, it's like a minute man. One
- 47:06Speaker 1: and done. Bye. Sorry. You know? And listen, me and
- 47:13Speaker 1: you talk a lot. we've been talking about these shows
- 47:16Speaker 1: a long time. It's very reminiscent of like a love
- 47:20Speaker 1: after lockup situation where someone, you know, hasn't had sex
- 47:22Speaker 1: in a long time per chance. Like in what is
- 47:26Speaker 1: to be done if you are to hold in your
- 47:29Speaker 1: mind and space that this person hasn't sensorily felt the
- 47:37Speaker 1: hot pocket sensation that we know this person is probably
- 47:41Speaker 1: going to feel in a mere moment that is a
- 47:45Speaker 1: you know, primal, biological, good feeling. That is one of
- 47:49Speaker 1: those things that like keeps this whole human race afloat
- 47:56Speaker 1: is how good that shit's supposed to feel at some point.
- 48:01Speaker 1: You're supposed to believe that someone who has never felt that,
- 48:05Speaker 1: has only dreamed about it, is going to be able
- 48:06Speaker 1: to have the monk-like mental meditative space to just like
- 48:12Speaker 1: suddenly be a tantric goddamn lover. No, right? When they're
- 48:22Speaker 1: out of prison, real fast, once it gets inside, honey, oops,
- 48:25Speaker 1: you know, like what can be done. And like that,
- 48:28Speaker 1: I guess, is the other option of what happens to Mito. Now,
- 48:33Speaker 1: me and you, we would like a billion other questions answered.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Is there a lube? Unfortunately, Devin and her mom don't
- 48:41Speaker 1: have a conversation where they, I mean, they don't seem
- 48:44Speaker 1: to have the kind of relationship where they talk about sex.
- 48:47Speaker 1: And You know, Debbie's friends hate him. So unfortunately, even
- 48:54Speaker 1: though they're sluts and we love them for it, and
- 48:59Speaker 1: there'd be no other better person besides her slutty ass
- 49:03Speaker 1: friends to be able to talk about sex. And they
- 49:07Speaker 1: even set up as a bookend, sorry, book, yeah, bookends,
- 49:10Speaker 1: that in the beginning of the season, she had a
- 49:12Speaker 1: conversation with those two friends, She told them that he
- 49:15Speaker 1: was a virgin. And that's, of course, when her slutty
- 49:19Speaker 1: friends called themselves sluts, which is why I'm calling them sluts.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I love them so much. And then, of course, since then,
- 49:24Speaker 1: they had a whole fight on Halloween where they yelled
- 49:26Speaker 1: at each other. And her slutty friends were like, this
- 49:28Speaker 1: is not how you treat people in America. They were
- 49:30Speaker 1: kind of like, oh, no, maybe they're Islamophobic as well.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Maybe they're kind of like Katie's... I'm sorry, kind of
- 49:35Speaker 1: like Mallory's dad. Except that, of course... Mito is giving
- 49:39Speaker 1: all of the real bad stereotypes right now, and he
- 49:41Speaker 1: is sort of shitty. And now he's sort of weirdly
- 49:43Speaker 1: turned a leaf and is wildly happy. It's like he's
- 49:46Speaker 1: given himself lithium these past two weeks. I'm not quite sure.
- 49:49Speaker 1: He's just very giddy, almost like a little Tinkerbell fairy
- 49:53Speaker 1: who's flying around New Orleans in the St. Vincent Hotel. Okay.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Having said all that, I'm assuming... aren't going to have
- 50:04Speaker 1: kind of the nitty-gritty lady conversation that we would have
- 50:07Speaker 1: loved to have if Debbie had maintained, like, a better relationship,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and Mito had a better relationship with her and her friends, right?
- 50:16Speaker 1: Because then those slutty friends would be like, tell us
- 50:18Speaker 1: fucking everything. How big is he? Tell us everything. How
- 50:21Speaker 1: long did he last? Tell us everything. What's his position?
- 50:23Speaker 1: Tell us everything. How'd it feel? Tell us everything. What's
- 50:25Speaker 1: he into? Tell us everything. You know, what was he, like,
- 50:28Speaker 1: you know? We would be there for it, and... I mean,
- 50:33Speaker 1: are they going to get that? Are we going to
- 50:36Speaker 1: get that? Are they going to ask? I feel like
- 50:40Speaker 1: they're not going to ask. God, I'm so mad. Because,
- 50:47Speaker 1: you know, he has to be like modest, I guess.
- 50:49Speaker 1: And she's going to try, I feel like, try and
- 50:50Speaker 1: be modest on his behalf, I guess. Because, you know,
- 50:53Speaker 1: she like really loves him and like understands like his,
- 50:55Speaker 1: I guess, religion, I guess, or whatever. Now. Now. It's
- 51:01Speaker 1: always interesting to me, like no talk about his family, huh?
- 51:04Speaker 1: No talk about whether his mom or his dad is
- 51:07Speaker 1: going to like be on a FaceTime to watch this.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Has he even called them? Is his dad alive still?
- 51:12Speaker 1: Remember all of that? Just remember that. How's his dad's
- 51:17Speaker 1: health doing? Is that even a factor? It's always weird
- 51:21Speaker 1: to me where I'm like, we're not going to even
- 51:24Speaker 1: like address any of those things. That's crazy. All right,
- 51:33Speaker 1: my loves, that ends part one of this mega recap
- 51:36Speaker 1: because I have so much more to say. I've only
- 51:38Speaker 1: done two couples. We got more to talk about for
- 51:42Speaker 1: this episode and my goodness gracious, I love you guys
- 51:45Speaker 1: and I appreciate, thank you so much for being here.
