At the start of September, weekday 2P paid parking was extended to 7pm, meaning locals who previously parked for free after 5pm now have to pay for up to an additional two hours.
The changes also include a four-hour extension to paid parking on Saturdays, as well as the introduction of paid parking on Sundays.
The adjustments apply to the CBD area bounded by Darby, Scott, Pacific and King Streets.
