- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is made.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered. This
- 0:07Speaker 2: is gonna be a special one because we have literally
- 0:09Speaker 2: gone from the streets to the studio and now we
- 0:12Speaker 2: have a special guest in studio because of it, Abby,
- 0:14Speaker 2: go ahead and bring in our guests.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 4: So I've been doing this really fun series on Bayshore
- 0:18Speaker 4: called Bays on Bayshore, where I interviewed just interesting people
- 0:21Speaker 4: along of course Bay Shore, and I reached out to
- 0:24Speaker 4: this guy I've seen on my for you page so
- 0:26Speaker 4: many times. I was like, Oh, I feel like he'd
- 0:27Speaker 4: be a really interesting interview. He's an Italian immigrant living
- 0:30Speaker 4: in Tampa of all places, which I thought was like,
- 0:33Speaker 4: so delightfully random because you just like, don't find a
- 0:35Speaker 4: lot of people really outside Florida or New York and Tampa.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Very true.
- 0:39Speaker 4: And so he came on and he's about to edge out.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Scotty is the most viewed on my page.
- 0:44Speaker 2: My got it know its a competition in the studio now,
- 0:46Speaker 2: Jot's fire.
- 0:47Speaker 4: But anyway, welcome to the studio, our friend, Jaca.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Thank you for having me. I real appreciate it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: This is exciting because Jacko. I saw your video pop
- 0:55Speaker 2: up immediately on Abby's page, and I was like, this
- 0:57Speaker 2: dude is a bro. I was like, there are certain
- 1:00Speaker 2: guys and I'm like, all right, that guy's got it.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Obviously got the clean haircut, you got the smooth voice,
- 1:05Speaker 2: but you also what I loved is in your video
- 1:07Speaker 2: and we're going to get into this in the dating scene.
- 1:10Speaker 2: A lot of women struggle with finding a man that
- 1:13Speaker 2: like has a vision for what they want in their life.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And immediately the thing that caught my eye was on
- 1:19Speaker 2: your phone, what you have a vision board of your
- 1:21Speaker 2: life and what you want to come in the next
- 1:23Speaker 2: couple years And the rest.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Of them look at that. Okay, so he showed me
- 1:27Speaker 1: his phone right now, is that your family?
- 1:30Speaker 3: That's like you always?
- 1:31Speaker 5: I mean, it's a AI create it, but yeah, it's like,
- 1:34Speaker 5: you know, my American house with the family that I
- 1:36Speaker 5: want to have, you know, And just.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, that's incredible.
- 1:39Speaker 5: The whole vision board kind of like what you were from,
- 1:42Speaker 5: like from notion, like Italy everything that I want to have,
- 1:44Speaker 5: my car, my cars, but yeah, it is more like
- 1:47Speaker 5: every day like in my low screen, can of like
- 1:49Speaker 5: really be motivated about why I'm doing it.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and yeah that's kind of like how I leave it.
- 1:53Speaker 4: So where does that come from? Because a lot of guys,
- 1:55Speaker 4: and I say this because I date straight men, they
- 1:58Speaker 4: you know, they maybe they say that I want these things,
- 2:00Speaker 4: but they don't. They're not like actively moving towards it.
- 2:02Speaker 4: So where does that drive or purpose to have here
- 2:06Speaker 4: the American dream come from?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:07Speaker 5: You know, I feel like funny enough in my videos,
- 2:09Speaker 5: I always try to be super funny, right, but actually,
- 2:12Speaker 5: like in my private life, I'm very deep. I always
- 2:16Speaker 5: thought that, I always say, you know, being broken, being
- 2:18Speaker 5: an immigrant who was the biggest teacher of my life.
- 2:20Speaker 5: You know nothing that you know, even my three degrees
- 2:23Speaker 5: taught me or like school masters anything. And so whenever
- 2:26Speaker 5: you are at like a rock bottom, you know, and
- 2:28Speaker 5: you're in a new country with no family, like none
- 2:30Speaker 5: of my family, people feel that like my family is
- 2:32Speaker 5: here and it's just like oh it's a name, Like no,
- 2:34Speaker 5: my family is like literally I come from a single mother.
- 2:36Speaker 5: I don't have any brothers, so nobody's taking care of
- 2:38Speaker 5: my mom. So whenever I came here, I was like,
- 2:40Speaker 5: you know, I'm not gonna come here to play around.
- 2:42Speaker 5: And I really understood that even like from my freshman year,
- 2:44Speaker 5: like if I was not starting, I was a soccer player.
- 2:47Speaker 5: For me, it was like very very impactful, which destroyed
- 2:49Speaker 5: kind of my career because you know patients and you know,
- 2:51Speaker 5: being humble is something that I learned it this past
- 2:53Speaker 5: six years. But for me, it was like I'm here,
- 2:55Speaker 5: like I don't want to waste not even one day,
- 2:57Speaker 5: which you know made me very intense. But that's how
- 3:01Speaker 5: you know, I approach my life. For me, everything that
- 3:02Speaker 5: I do is very intentional. And so even if once
- 3:05Speaker 5: you know, once you ask me, like even about dating
- 3:07Speaker 5: and stuff, like I six months ago, you know, I
- 3:09Speaker 5: went through a heartbreak and I know that like for me,
- 3:12Speaker 5: I'm so intentional, I'm very deep that is going to
- 3:14Speaker 5: take time for me to heal and so as a man.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Funny enough, all the girls always are surprised when I
- 3:19Speaker 5: say this, but especially in this past six months, I
- 3:22Speaker 5: learned that having even my friends going through breakups, I
- 3:25Speaker 5: don't think we know how to heal. I feel like,
- 3:27Speaker 5: you know, we just want to go in the next
- 3:28Speaker 5: thing right with the load, with the load hinge and
- 3:31Speaker 5: like you know, let me take you out on a dinner.
- 3:32Speaker 5: But like, brother, you know, what did you learn from
- 3:34Speaker 5: what didn't work?
- 3:35Speaker 3: You know?
- 3:35Speaker 5: And that doesn't have to be that she was your wife.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Maybe she was completely wrong about anything that happened, but
- 3:39Speaker 5: like takes a month to understand, like, hey, can I
- 3:41Speaker 5: be by myself? My biggest struggle in this past six
- 3:44Speaker 5: months was that I really understood that first I was
- 3:47Speaker 5: not able to be with myself, like I was starting
- 3:49Speaker 5: to fidgeting, or like let me go for a walk,
- 3:50Speaker 5: Like no, brother, you got to stay in your house
- 3:52Speaker 5: with yourself. And the other one for me is like,
- 3:54Speaker 5: you know, I feel like I was struggling even in
- 3:57Speaker 5: my previous heartbreaks because I was struggle to be chosen,
- 4:01Speaker 5: but I was not choosing myself. And so that's really
- 4:04Speaker 5: what I learned I'd seen in the past two months.
- 4:06Speaker 5: I was like, you know, I just got to have
- 4:07Speaker 5: the best time with myself and then some other people
- 4:09Speaker 5: are going to add to my life. They're not gonna
- 4:11Speaker 5: make my life. So that is.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So powerful because you got to take attention over your
- 4:15Speaker 2: own self and you can't expect somebody else to fix you.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I think that's where a lot of us go wrong.
- 4:20Speaker 2: We're like I'm gonna get into a relationship. They're gonna
- 4:22Speaker 2: help me become.
- 4:22Speaker 1: My best self.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It's like, no, no, you want to step into it as
- 4:25Speaker 2: the best version and then they're just helping you continue
- 4:27Speaker 2: to enhance that version. But I do want to step
- 4:29Speaker 2: back because we talked about the move over to the States.
- 4:32Speaker 2: What was life looking like when you're over growing up
- 4:34Speaker 2: in Italy? Like what were you doing over across the world?
- 4:37Speaker 2: And then how did you end up over now in
- 4:39Speaker 2: Tampa Bay, Florida. So what was Italy looking like?
- 4:42Speaker 5: No, definitely, definitely is my hometown, you know, is where
- 4:45Speaker 5: my family is from. To be honest with you, I
- 4:47Speaker 5: never felt like it was my place. I always say
- 4:49Speaker 5: that everybody as a home. And that's why I played
- 4:52Speaker 5: in Missouri before coming to Tampa. And that's seen people
- 4:54Speaker 5: that loved Missouri, like they literally love it. And so
- 4:57Speaker 5: you know, whenever I say, you know, they call it misery, right,
- 4:59Speaker 5: But I I seem like a lot of happiness there. Yes,
- 5:02Speaker 5: And then I went to Portland and you know, and
- 5:04Speaker 5: I go back to the but like then I went
- 5:05Speaker 5: to Portland and like literally it wasn't for me. I
- 5:07Speaker 5: didn't enjoy one single day in Portland because it's rainy,
- 5:10Speaker 5: it's cold, and that's not for me, right. Yeah, So
- 5:12Speaker 5: going back to Italy, I said, a lot of Italians,
- 5:14Speaker 5: a lot of Italy and it's a beautiful place to
- 5:16Speaker 5: visit to leave for some people. But you know, for me,
- 5:19Speaker 5: I just never had incredible friendships. I just always I
- 5:22Speaker 5: always said, like, I want to play in the big leagues,
- 5:24Speaker 5: and for me, speaking English and being in the United
- 5:27Speaker 5: States is where the big leagues are. Right here is
- 5:29Speaker 5: where things happen. You know, I work with Tesla and
- 5:32Speaker 5: you know, like all the all the models in Italy,
- 5:35Speaker 5: they arrive after the United States. So I'm like, why
- 5:37Speaker 5: do I want to be after? I want to be
- 5:38Speaker 5: like where the things had. But you know, it was
- 5:41Speaker 5: it was good. At fifteen, I basically stopped hanging out
- 5:45Speaker 5: in Italy. I wasn't living in Vizzerland, but I was
- 5:47Speaker 5: playing in Fwitzerland. So fifteen I received this offer to
- 5:50Speaker 5: go play in Vizzerland, and so basically every day I
- 5:52Speaker 5: was driving going to plains Viziland, coming back late. I
- 5:55Speaker 5: wasn't even hanging out with my mom.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:57Speaker 3: It was just like it's it was tough.
- 5:59Speaker 5: And then at nineteen, yeah, I didn't make the first
- 6:03Speaker 5: team like for some reason, and I received this offer
- 6:05Speaker 5: from Missouri, and I was like, like I always say,
- 6:07Speaker 5: I would have went to play in Alaska. Like for
- 6:10Speaker 5: me for soccer, I just wanted to play soccer.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I didn't have so cool so you got to play.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I mean you played professional sports like that is something.
- 6:16Speaker 2: There's a very small section of people ever understand what
- 6:19Speaker 2: that's even like. But you had the dream of doing
- 6:21Speaker 2: playing professional soccer. Yeah you went you started living that dream. Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 2: I mean it wasn't like really professionally, right. It was
- 6:27Speaker 2: like I was third division in Vitzaan, which is like
- 6:30Speaker 2: still high level. I still like whenever the grass gets
- 6:32Speaker 2: a little bit like ruined, the gardener is going to
- 6:35Speaker 2: be there after five minutes, which is like super powerful
- 6:37Speaker 2: to see. But yeah, that was my dream, right, And
- 6:40Speaker 2: I always felt that soccer was going to change my life.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Funny enough, it's crazy how twenty eight to see that
- 6:45Speaker 2: For me, if you ask me, I felt like, yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 2: it's going to change my life because I'm going to
- 6:48Speaker 2: be a pro. I'm going to make so much money
- 6:50Speaker 2: and like you know, I help my family. But he
- 6:51Speaker 2: actually did change my life because he brought me to
- 6:53Speaker 2: the United States, and they do what I did today
- 6:56Speaker 2: thanks to soccer. So did I really make the dream
- 6:59Speaker 2: that I had five years old? Probably not, but it's
- 7:01Speaker 2: still like, you know, helped me tremendously. And I feel
- 7:04Speaker 2: the biggest thing for me is that it came me
- 7:06Speaker 2: out of like bed routes, like a cole you know,
- 7:09Speaker 2: all this stuff, all the type of stuff I've never done,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and it just really gave me like a good discipline
- 7:14Speaker 2: that I still use today with my businesses and all
- 7:16Speaker 2: this stuff.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah, what was the biggest culture shock? Coming from Italy
- 7:20Speaker 4: to I mean Missouri is pretty rough because like the
- 7:23Speaker 4: thought of that time, I'm American and the thought I'm
- 7:25Speaker 4: moving to Missouri for me is like, oh god, that's
- 7:27Speaker 4: a shock. For I'm like picturing you in Italy showing
- 7:30Speaker 4: up to Missouri and there's like cows and cornfields and
- 7:33Speaker 4: going like, oh my god.
- 7:34Speaker 3: You want to know what happened.
- 7:35Speaker 5: So I don't think anybody ever said this because like
- 7:37Speaker 5: it's pretty specific, but like I arrived in Missouri, right,
- 7:40Speaker 5: and so I meet the team and you know, the
- 7:43Speaker 5: captain who was like, you know, presenting me his girlfriend
- 7:46Speaker 5: or something. I don't know if it was the captain,
- 7:48Speaker 5: but like one of the guys, and so I go there.
- 7:49Speaker 5: In Italy, whenever you meet someone, especially the girls, like
- 7:52Speaker 5: you give like, you know, two kisses on the cheek
- 7:54Speaker 5: and so you know, I went there for that, and
- 7:56Speaker 5: they gave me like the weirdest look. Like this guy
- 7:57Speaker 5: was probably thinking like, are you trying to take my
- 7:59Speaker 5: girl show from there? As we're like did from that day.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Even my friends Italians, like my Italian friends, when they come,
- 8:04Speaker 5: they don't recognize me because now I'm super American, Like
- 8:07Speaker 5: I just give a little hug, right, Hey, how you doing?
- 8:09Speaker 5: You know, sometimes I don't even give the hogs. Sometimes
- 8:11Speaker 5: I don't even give the hands. I really go based
- 8:13Speaker 5: off energy, but yeah, I needly would just go like
- 8:15Speaker 5: you know, you know, I kiss on the cheek and
- 8:17Speaker 5: all this stuff, and any's super roma. But that was
- 8:20Speaker 5: that was pretty scary. I was like, you know, how
- 8:22Speaker 5: do you explain these?
- 8:24Speaker 4: I mean because on the flip side, as an American,
- 8:26Speaker 4: just because we we're so big on personal space that
- 8:29Speaker 4: even the thought of like receiving it is very much like,
- 8:31Speaker 4: oh my god, like what is going on?
- 8:33Speaker 3: That was tough.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah, to where I'm sure once you explained it, they're
- 8:35Speaker 4: kind of like, Okay, I love.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That because I feel like I'm being brought into your culture.
- 8:39Speaker 1: When someone's like.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Oh my god, come here, I'm like, thank you. I
- 8:43Speaker 2: don't know how to do it, and I'll never do
- 8:44Speaker 2: it to someone because I'm like, I don't know that.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It doesn't feel right from like a Florida boy.
- 8:47Speaker 4: And I's still like in COVID times we're bumping elbows.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm like, sometimes I don't even hug my family, so
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my gosh, to go in and kiss
- 8:53Speaker 2: somebody on the cheek. That's actually really cool. So you
- 8:55Speaker 2: went from Missouri and then you move to Portland, and
- 8:58Speaker 2: then it's Portland. Where'd you go from there?
- 9:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so I played in Missouri. First of all, I
- 9:02Speaker 5: was playing close to Kansas City. Then my girlfriend at
- 9:05Speaker 5: the time she was from Siluis, So I moved to
- 9:08Speaker 5: Seluis like I found a college there, and then in
- 9:10Speaker 5: twenty twenty, I actually we won the championship. So I
- 9:14Speaker 5: was like on a on a high and so I
- 9:16Speaker 5: received My dream at that time was to be an actor.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Like I don't know why because now it's not but
- 9:20Speaker 5: I was like I wanted to be an actor, right,
- 9:22Speaker 5: I knew. I was speaking like almost daily with I
- 9:24Speaker 5: don't know if you know I've ever seen Ice Cool musical.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I love that movie.
- 9:29Speaker 5: So you know Troy Bolton's dead. Yeah, so I was yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 5: so I was friends with him, like you know, with
- 9:34Speaker 5: bar Johnson. It was like an actor in LA and
- 9:36Speaker 5: so I was telling him like I want to be
- 9:37Speaker 5: an actor, and he was just telling me like, look,
- 9:40Speaker 5: it's gonna be kind of hard because you have a
- 9:42Speaker 5: strong accent. So they either find like a very specific
- 9:45Speaker 5: role or it's just going to be especially with COVID,
- 9:47Speaker 5: it's going to be hard. And so I was like, okay, cool,
- 9:50Speaker 5: But I received this offer from LA. I was in
- 9:52Speaker 5: Rancho Palos Verde, right, it was like my dream. I
- 9:54Speaker 5: wanted to be in LA. I wanted to like you know,
- 9:56Speaker 5: create stuff. And then you know, the big question arrived
- 9:59Speaker 5: where it was really fifty to fifty, especially for Italians
- 10:02Speaker 5: where you know, COVID in Italy was pretty tough. Was
- 10:04Speaker 5: like you either go back to Italy and stay with
- 10:06Speaker 5: your family because you never know what happens, or you
- 10:08Speaker 5: keep living the dream, right, and I want to go
- 10:10Speaker 5: back to my family just because, like you know, my
- 10:12Speaker 5: grandparents are old, and I grew up with them, so
- 10:14Speaker 5: I want to go back. That destroyed a lot of
- 10:16Speaker 5: my opportunities because then in Italy you could not even
- 10:19Speaker 5: leave your house, like it was not like Florida.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I saw you, guys. You were just like chilling. You
- 10:23Speaker 3: guys were chilling. You know what I'm saying. I was like, wow,
- 10:24Speaker 3: it was.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Like two weeks and we're like all right, we're good.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yeah, and then we stopped. I remember specifically when June
- 10:29Speaker 4: came around. That's when people stopped saying, oh, it'll be
- 10:31Speaker 4: another week or two. We like didn't know. So thats
- 10:34Speaker 4: of Florida was like.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Well whatever, he opened up everything, like all right, we're
- 10:37Speaker 2: just gonna go and act like normal.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I had friends that had gone to the bar and
- 10:40Speaker 4: they were on CNN like the next week because they'd
- 10:42Speaker 4: gotten COVID. I think it was like Andrew Cuomo, who
- 10:44Speaker 4: was like, see my friend was like we know, we know.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 5: In Italy you had to sign up paper even just
- 10:48Speaker 5: to go buy grocery, Like you had to sign a
- 10:50Speaker 5: paper if they stop you, like what are you doing.
- 10:52Speaker 5: My grandpa started to develop alzimer at that time, so
- 10:54Speaker 5: he really had to go and walk just like to
- 10:56Speaker 5: get some hair and all this stuff, and every time
- 10:58Speaker 5: the police was like, why are you doing? So after
- 11:00Speaker 5: like the three they were like, Okay, it's him. You
- 11:02Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. It's good, it's good, and you know,
- 11:05Speaker 5: thank god they're still with me. But at that time,
- 11:07Speaker 5: I really just I didn't think that I was going
- 11:09Speaker 5: to go back to the United States because every college
- 11:11Speaker 5: after that they were like, Okay, cool, that's who you were,
- 11:13Speaker 5: but now you haven't played for a whole year, so
- 11:15Speaker 5: how do we know you know how you play? And
- 11:17Speaker 5: so after that there was this guy that before LA
- 11:21Speaker 5: tried to contact me. I didn't want to go to Oregon.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Like I knew myself for really a little bit in
- 11:25Speaker 5: that time, and I knew this is not for me, right,
- 11:28Speaker 5: I cannot I cannot do Connecticut, New York. I cannot
- 11:30Speaker 5: do Oregon, just like it's it's not my vibe, no
- 11:33Speaker 5: offense to Connecticut.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Oregon.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of them moved down here right right.
- 11:39Speaker 5: And so you know, he gave me like an amazing scholarship.
- 11:41Speaker 5: And what I told him, I was like, if you
- 11:42Speaker 5: get me, you got to get my friend as well. Uh,
- 11:45Speaker 5: and he actually, I mean my friend was like a
- 11:46Speaker 5: good a good US Italian Moroccan and he was like
- 11:49Speaker 5: a good player. So he got us both, which was
- 11:51Speaker 5: like a dream, right because then I'm going back to
- 11:52Speaker 5: the United States with my friend, and so I went
- 11:55Speaker 5: to play very close to Portland. It was it was Sealem, Salem,
- 11:59Speaker 5: and I really didn't enjoy. I always say like we
- 12:02Speaker 5: were like a lot of Europeans. I think we all
- 12:04Speaker 5: left after the first year, like we was a Spanish
- 12:06Speaker 5: guy and this and that. It was just a lot, right.
- 12:08Speaker 5: You get you get up and you're like, oh, I
- 12:10Speaker 5: feel sowmativated. No, because outside this cloud it's raining, and
- 12:13Speaker 5: I'm like that destroys me.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Like absolutely ruins your mood.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Yeah. After that, I actually got the agnes with compartment syndrome.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I don't know if you know that, but basically it's
- 12:22Speaker 5: like in my in my legs, the blood was not
- 12:24Speaker 5: circulating correctly, so they literally opened both of my legs
- 12:29Speaker 5: and you know. And so I stayed on a bed
- 12:31Speaker 5: for like a month, no family, like and it was
- 12:33Speaker 5: also spring break, so there was also no students. And
- 12:36Speaker 5: so I always say, I mean, shout out to Aubrey.
- 12:38Speaker 5: I don't know if she's gonna listen to this. But
- 12:40Speaker 5: ad this girl, she was not even like one of
- 12:41Speaker 5: my best friends, but she knew my story. Yeah, and
- 12:43Speaker 5: she was like every time, like just call me, I'm
- 12:45Speaker 5: gonna go buy food and I'm gonna bring it to
- 12:47Speaker 5: your door. Yeah, like not even my coach did that,
- 12:50Speaker 5: like she did that. So I honestly amazing person. Her
- 12:53Speaker 5: mom One day came and she was like, hey, by
- 12:55Speaker 5: the way, here's a hundred bucks for you, just like
- 12:57Speaker 5: I was like what why? Yeah, And so that these
- 13:00Speaker 5: things for me, they're gonna stay forever. Like if if
- 13:01Speaker 5: a fifty years old she calls me, I'll be there
- 13:03Speaker 5: for her, Like, you know, I'm really big into this stuff.
- 13:06Speaker 5: And so they sent me back to Italy, right because
- 13:08Speaker 5: thank god, the insurance you know, paid for the for
- 13:11Speaker 5: the surgery, which was a lot, but they sent me
- 13:13Speaker 5: back to it and once again I was like, Okay,
- 13:15Speaker 5: the United States dream is done. And every single day
- 13:18Speaker 5: since I went back to the United States, I was like,
- 13:20Speaker 5: I'm going to go back. I sent I think around
- 13:23Speaker 5: six hundred emails to every properly college in the United
- 13:25Speaker 5: States and I received three replies.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, three replies.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Two of them were just like Okay, you can come,
- 13:31Speaker 5: but you basically have to pay eighty five percent. I
- 13:33Speaker 5: was like, hey, I don't come from a rich family.
- 13:35Speaker 5: And then once again, long story short, like in a
- 13:37Speaker 5: few months, I actually received a full ride, like to
- 13:40Speaker 5: come here in Lakeland to go play in Lakeland. And
- 13:43Speaker 5: then when I was in Lakeland, just kind of let
- 13:45Speaker 5: to close this question. I went to Orlando because I
- 13:47Speaker 5: was like, Okay, once the college is done, where do
- 13:49Speaker 5: I want to live. I went to Orlando, didn't didn't
- 13:51Speaker 5: really like it. I went to Miami, didn't really like it,
- 13:53Speaker 5: and they went to Tampa and they really fell in
- 13:55Speaker 5: love with it.
- 13:56Speaker 4: What was it about Tampa that made you fall for it?
- 13:58Speaker 5: You know, always people always ask me this. It's I
- 14:00Speaker 5: think is the perfect combination, at least for what I like.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Like.
- 14:04Speaker 5: It really has a lot of values and type of
- 14:06Speaker 5: things that I like. Like it's low paced, but it's
- 14:08Speaker 5: fast paced, right, Like, it's low paced, but it's growing.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Actually, it's not a Miami fast paced where you can't
- 14:12Speaker 2: even move anywhere, yes, or not sitting there and you
- 14:15Speaker 2: know a rock and chair.
- 14:16Speaker 1: We got some movement here.
- 14:17Speaker 5: Yeah, and then I'm beg into like recharging. So if
- 14:20Speaker 5: I'm like stressed. I'm literally gonna go to Riverwalk, right,
- 14:23Speaker 5: I don't like Riverwalk, I go to Bay Shore. I
- 14:25Speaker 5: don't want to go to Bay short. I'm actually gonna
- 14:26Speaker 5: stay in Westley Chapel where I live and it's beautiful, right,
- 14:29Speaker 5: And so I really think there's there's a lot of
- 14:31Speaker 5: things to do without having the kales of Miami. Like
- 14:34Speaker 5: generally I cannot be in Miami more than two days.
- 14:36Speaker 5: And that's why I feel a lot with it, Like
- 14:37Speaker 5: it's the first time that I literally see my kids here,
- 14:41Speaker 5: and so it never happened to me before in my life.
- 14:43Speaker 5: I actually was when I was important. I was like,
- 14:45Speaker 5: I love the United States, but I don't see myself
- 14:48Speaker 5: settling anywhere.
- 14:49Speaker 1: So I was kind of scared, Oh yeah, you didn't
- 14:50Speaker 1: find your area.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And with Tampa that changed.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Yeah. That's the cool thing about our country is there's
- 14:55Speaker 4: so many different vibes. Like Denver is so different from Miami, Utah.
- 15:00Speaker 1: It's like, oh my god, the Mormons and the people
- 15:04Speaker 1: are different too.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's like you go up to like a New York
- 15:06Speaker 2: and you're gonna get a very different vibe than what
- 15:07Speaker 2: you're gonna get if you go over to an Orlando,
- 15:10Speaker 2: like very different people even.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Within Florida, Like people always compare Tampa and Miami, and
- 15:15Speaker 4: Tampa might kind of look like Miami because it's coastal
- 15:18Speaker 4: and there's a lot of new high rises coming, but
- 15:20Speaker 4: it's very much a southern city. Like when you talk
- 15:22Speaker 4: about values and it's it's very much like down home
- 15:26Speaker 4: good values, morals. Not that's saying that Miami's a moral less,
- 15:29Speaker 4: godless place, but it's definitely a little little more of
- 15:32Speaker 4: the hustle, you know, I.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Mean a little more going out late till six in the.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Morning, more club vibes. And there's not a single club
- 15:40Speaker 4: in Tampa.
- 15:40Speaker 2: And I don't think they would disagree with that either.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Everyone in Miami's like, yeah, no, you're right, Yeah, you're right.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You got to move to the suburbs after you live
- 15:47Speaker 2: in downtown Miami. Yeah, that's incredible. So you feel like
- 15:49Speaker 2: you found a home here in Tampa and you're everywhere
- 15:52Speaker 2: now on social And I want to really acknowledge your
- 15:55Speaker 2: social platform because when I looked you up, I was like,
- 15:57Speaker 2: oh my god, I mean you have You're over one
- 16:01Speaker 2: hundred k on social just on Instagram alone. Was that
- 16:05Speaker 2: something that is now your vision of building and just
- 16:07Speaker 2: becoming like a Instagram influencer, is that the career right now?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Like what is that looking like and how you put
- 16:14Speaker 2: a lot of work into it? Did anyway teach you
- 16:16Speaker 2: how to do that properly?
- 16:16Speaker 5: Because absolutely no good I wish. Yeah, so more than
- 16:20Speaker 5: more than Instagram. I have for under thirteen K on
- 16:23Speaker 5: TikTok and and I abandoned them because that was all
- 16:26Speaker 5: Italy in Europe, right, so whenever I signed with the management,
- 16:29Speaker 5: they were like, we got to restart. We're gonna be
- 16:31Speaker 5: brand new, We're gonna do the United States. So right
- 16:32Speaker 5: actually right now on TikTok have five K, but I
- 16:35Speaker 5: built you know, four under k in Europe and stuff.
- 16:38Speaker 5: You know, I always had a problem with the word
- 16:40Speaker 5: influencer just because, like, at least from my experience, whenever
- 16:43Speaker 5: people said like, oh, I'm an influencer, it's more like
- 16:46Speaker 5: more like shallow you know what I'm saying, That's what
- 16:48Speaker 5: I see right for me. The perfect example is like
- 16:51Speaker 5: I think his name is Simon something, you know, the
- 16:53Speaker 5: guy that goes around and as for a dream, right,
- 16:55Speaker 5: So he's the first person that I've seen that he
- 16:56Speaker 5: calls himself an influencer. So I'm like, Okay, I'm actually
- 16:59Speaker 5: then I'm fine because that's what I want to do.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Like for me, you know, I'm an immigrant. Nobody told
- 17:03Speaker 5: me how to edit. Like, actually, how I learned to
- 17:05Speaker 5: reply to your question? I was training at five am
- 17:08Speaker 5: in Portland. My coach was he had these opinions whatever.
- 17:12Speaker 5: We were like training at five am, and then we
- 17:14Speaker 5: had class like from nine to let's say twelve, right
- 17:16Speaker 5: then we had to study, and then at night I
- 17:20Speaker 5: think like in my whole college career, I probably went
- 17:22Speaker 5: to i would say ten parties like in six years wow,
- 17:26Speaker 5: because at night I was editing until three am. And
- 17:28Speaker 5: so how did I learn? Honestly, the first view that
- 17:31Speaker 5: I watched, I remember clearly was like final cut pro tutorial,
- 17:35Speaker 5: like seven hours of videos. I've seen that in the
- 17:37Speaker 5: whole day, and then of course you make mistakes. But
- 17:40Speaker 5: I had nobody to talk with, especially because in twenty eighteen,
- 17:43Speaker 5: let's talk about it, like, you know, right now, it's
- 17:44Speaker 5: kind of cool to be an influencer. But when I started,
- 17:47Speaker 5: like people were talking Matt crap about me.
- 17:49Speaker 3: You know, I'm saying, oh, I'm sure.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Even important, you know, twenty twenty COVID once again, So
- 17:53Speaker 5: TikTok still hasn't really arrived.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Actually sorry, it's after that.
- 17:55Speaker 5: So yeah, there was a little bit of TikTok, but
- 17:57Speaker 5: people were like, what is this guy recording himself?
- 17:59Speaker 3: Right?
- 18:00Speaker 5: But for me, I just like this bigger vision of like, man,
- 18:02Speaker 5: I'm an immigrant that come from nothing, and I really
- 18:04Speaker 5: want to show that as possible. And so that's kind
- 18:06Speaker 5: of how it happened. Like I really feel like, you know,
- 18:08Speaker 5: God put me in this position for a reason and
- 18:10Speaker 5: for me right now, that's why in my social media
- 18:12Speaker 5: try to be funny, because that's my side.
- 18:14Speaker 3: But I also want to talk about.
- 18:15Speaker 5: You know, anxiety, immigration, you know, being an old child,
- 18:19Speaker 5: coming from a single mother and stuff like that, because
- 18:21Speaker 5: I didn't have that voice whenever I was growing up.
- 18:23Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, I do.
- 18:25Speaker 2: And I'm so happy you brought that up because I
- 18:26Speaker 2: think a lot of people would look at somebody like
- 18:28Speaker 2: your channel and be.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Like, oh, I could do that too, and you can.
- 18:31Speaker 2: But I think it's very important to acknowledge all the
- 18:33Speaker 2: work that you put in and how long like that
- 18:36Speaker 2: for me that sticks out You're like, Okay, that's nearly
- 18:39Speaker 2: a decade of just diving in and doing the work,
- 18:41Speaker 2: and if you're willing to be patient enough, well then
- 18:44Speaker 2: you're able to get the first of that labor at
- 18:46Speaker 2: the end of it.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you do.
- 18:47Speaker 5: You want to talk about the fact that, like, you know,
- 18:48Speaker 5: for eight years, I've done it, but I couldn't make
- 18:50Speaker 5: money because of my visa.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Mm hm.
- 18:52Speaker 5: So imagine I having eight hundred thousand followers, but you
- 18:55Speaker 5: make zero dollars per monthent.
- 18:57Speaker 4: It's so insane to me. And I was shocked at
- 18:59Speaker 4: the cost of what it would you would have to
- 19:02Speaker 4: pay to stay here because there's not like a lot
- 19:04Speaker 4: that I understand about the immigration process, Like I think
- 19:08Speaker 4: we hear a lot about it in politics, but we
- 19:09Speaker 4: don't really understand them neus of it. How much if
- 19:12Speaker 4: you wanted to stay here, if you want to pay
- 19:13Speaker 4: for a visa, how much is it?
- 19:15Speaker 5: I mean, it depends you know what you can do.
- 19:17Speaker 5: You know, right thanks to my platforms, you know, I
- 19:19Speaker 5: could have like a visa. It's going to be probably
- 19:21Speaker 5: like around thirteen kges, like you know for lawyers and
- 19:23Speaker 5: stuff like that. The normal route, of course is it
- 19:26Speaker 5: really depends on the scholarship that you receive, Like I
- 19:29Speaker 5: don't know outside of that, just because like I haven't
- 19:30Speaker 5: lived there, but I could have never honestly afford not
- 19:34Speaker 5: even probably community college, just like if I was coming
- 19:36Speaker 5: from like no scholarship. And so it really depends, like
- 19:39Speaker 5: with colleges, even if you have a scholarship, you can't
- 19:41Speaker 5: have to showcase that you can maintain yourself. You know,
- 19:44Speaker 5: you have to sign this letter and say, like you
- 19:45Speaker 5: know in case you have those money. But overall it's
- 19:50Speaker 5: an expensive process. Like yeah, there's a lot of talented
- 19:52Speaker 5: kids that you know, they just cannot afford it, you know.
- 19:55Speaker 5: And so I was very lucky because I believed in
- 19:58Speaker 5: this process, like I was one of the first ones.
- 19:59Speaker 5: Like now there's so many internationals. When I came here,
- 20:02Speaker 5: I wouldn't say the word that many. Like you, you
- 20:04Speaker 5: found a lot of Americans in the teams. Now if
- 20:06Speaker 5: you could play like even UT against USF, I don't
- 20:09Speaker 5: know how many of them are from the USA, you know,
- 20:11Speaker 5: just because like there's a lot of talents and they
- 20:12Speaker 5: come here, you know you can do I mean I've
- 20:15Speaker 5: met a lot of people that they come here just
- 20:16Speaker 5: for even tiktoks, right, because then you can be like,
- 20:18Speaker 5: oh a Spanish guy in the United States and you
- 20:20Speaker 5: go viral probably like in two months. So you know,
- 20:22Speaker 5: it really depends what you come what you come here for.
- 20:25Speaker 5: For me, it was always like for a bigger reason,
- 20:27Speaker 5: like you know, to change my uh just my history,
- 20:29Speaker 5: like my family, you know, like I always say, like
- 20:31Speaker 5: right now, it's been you know hard, but it's like
- 20:33Speaker 5: I'm not doing it for myself anymore as well, I'm
- 20:36Speaker 5: doing it for like, you know, my next generation. So
- 20:37Speaker 5: that's why I'm here.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, well, I mean that's so cool, and it's
- 20:41Speaker 4: it's it's a tough process. I mean, especially just knowing
- 20:43Speaker 4: that there might be an end date to where you
- 20:45Speaker 4: like have to leave, which I'm sure is scary. Maybe
- 20:48Speaker 4: it makes you embrace the moments more, like you know,
- 20:52Speaker 4: you because you have a clock you have to keep pushing.
- 20:54Speaker 4: But I think you can do it.
- 20:56Speaker 2: You know.
- 20:57Speaker 4: I'm wondering who do you feel more comfortable around? Americans?
- 21:00Speaker 4: Are Italians?
- 21:01Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah? Yeah?
- 21:03Speaker 5: I Mean people don't like when I say this, but
- 21:05Speaker 5: I feel like ninety percent American. But really yeah, I
- 21:08Speaker 5: just like, like if I go to Italy, I'm not
- 21:10Speaker 5: going to kiss anybody on the chic It feels weird
- 21:12Speaker 5: to me now, you know, I've been here eight years,
- 21:14Speaker 5: kind of like six and a half with the injuries whatever,
- 21:16Speaker 5: But I've been here a lot. All my friends are Americans.
- 21:19Speaker 5: I lost a lot of friends, you know, from Italy
- 21:20Speaker 5: just because, like you know, it's a long time. But
- 21:23Speaker 5: that's why I feel like I've been enduring, even in
- 21:26Speaker 5: the hard moments. It's like I really fund in love
- 21:27Speaker 5: with the United States. I feel like that is the
- 21:29Speaker 5: best country, you know, for me. I love, you know,
- 21:32Speaker 5: like how you guys think. I love how people are
- 21:34Speaker 5: nice here, and so I really like when I say that,
- 21:37Speaker 5: like I really came here.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I came here.
- 21:39Speaker 5: You know, a lot of people from other countries, they
- 21:41Speaker 5: try to make groups and stay with them, but that
- 21:43Speaker 5: doesn't make you evolve and really embridge the culture. I
- 21:45Speaker 5: always try to found fine teams with no Italians. I
- 21:48Speaker 5: was like, give me a team with no Italians. And
- 21:50Speaker 5: that's why I feel like, you know, what made me
- 21:52Speaker 5: grow and really get attached to the United States.
- 21:54Speaker 4: What's your favorite thing about being an American?
- 21:57Speaker 3: What's the favorite thing about being an American?
- 21:58Speaker 4: And what do you think is like the most American
- 22:00Speaker 4: thing about it?
- 22:00Speaker 3: You can be whatever you want whenever you want.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Ah see, I think that's a big part. And whenever
- 22:04Speaker 2: you talk to somebody that's moved over to America, like
- 22:06Speaker 2: we honestly we lose sight of that if we've just
- 22:09Speaker 2: always been in America, Like we complain about things and
- 22:12Speaker 2: we get used to it because it's all we've ever known.
- 22:14Speaker 2: But if you come from a place that, like literally
- 22:16Speaker 2: that's not an option. Yeah, and to be able to
- 22:17Speaker 2: see at firsthand, you're like, no, no, no, you guys aren't
- 22:19Speaker 2: getting it, Like you do have the option for an
- 22:21Speaker 2: American dream.
- 22:22Speaker 4: But also I feel like in Europe, I feel like
- 22:24Speaker 4: there's a big like crapping on other people culture, Like
- 22:27Speaker 4: if someone's trying to do something different, they're like they
- 22:30Speaker 4: don't want to be happy for you. They're like, stay
- 22:32Speaker 4: in your lane, which has it just does not compute
- 22:35Speaker 4: in my head. I'm like, why wouldn't you want someone
- 22:36Speaker 4: to go after their dreams?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:38Speaker 2: God, if there's something that we could take from, let's say,
- 22:40Speaker 2: I mean you've traveled the world, but let's say Italy
- 22:43Speaker 2: in general, because I always say when I've traveled, I'm like,
- 22:45Speaker 2: oh my god, I do love so many parts of
- 22:47Speaker 2: Like when I went to Spain and I was like,
- 22:48Speaker 2: oh wow, you just go there and people are chilling
- 22:50Speaker 2: at dinner for like three hours. I'm like, I wish
- 22:52Speaker 2: we'd adopted that, Like what is something that you think
- 22:54Speaker 2: us here in America could use a little more of
- 22:57Speaker 2: that you have maybe over in Europe or that's the way.
- 23:00Speaker 5: I really feel like depth. Right, the example that I
- 23:03Speaker 5: give I don't play anymore. But the example that I
- 23:04Speaker 5: give is that in Italy you can go to like,
- 23:06Speaker 5: let's say a pickup, right, we can go tomorrow, we
- 23:08Speaker 5: go to a pickup, like you know, seven versus seven whatever.
- 23:10Speaker 5: We don't know anybody, but at the end of the game,
- 23:12Speaker 5: I promise like at least five people they're gonna go
- 23:14Speaker 5: grab a pizza or they're gonna go like you know,
- 23:16Speaker 5: it's like a guys, okay, who's down after that? Like
- 23:19Speaker 5: I wouldn't say that you guys are friends, but you
- 23:21Speaker 5: know something about that guy because you're gonna spend one
- 23:22Speaker 5: hour right here, I swear, like, you know, even in teams,
- 23:25Speaker 5: so we're like, if it's a pickup, who cares about
- 23:28Speaker 5: who you play with at the end of the day, right,
- 23:29Speaker 5: But if it's a team, you really got to know
- 23:31Speaker 5: who you have, you know on your left and on
- 23:33Speaker 5: your right. I probably played like four months where people
- 23:35Speaker 5: like at the end of the day training was done
- 23:37Speaker 5: by guys. I'm gone and I'm like onto the next
- 23:40Speaker 5: I have no idea who this guy is, Like I
- 23:41Speaker 5: said of like, oh, you know it can score this
- 23:43Speaker 5: and that, but like, ooh he is it, you know,
- 23:45Speaker 5: And that's that's big. I feel like in life, that's big.
- 23:47Speaker 5: That's why you know, kind of like to touch like
- 23:49Speaker 5: you know, Spain by Italy as well Italy on Sunday
- 23:52Speaker 5: you stay four hours, like you know, you get a
- 23:53Speaker 5: little expressed, so you spoke four hours. You speak for hours, sorry,
- 23:56Speaker 5: and it's just like you create such a depth you
- 23:58Speaker 5: know between people that like then you really like if
- 24:01Speaker 5: you are in need, people are gonna come and help you. Well,
- 24:04Speaker 5: in the United States, I don't. I don't feel like
- 24:05Speaker 5: there's the same thing. It's it's rare. It's more it
- 24:07Speaker 5: maybe takes longer. Yeah, that's what I will say.
- 24:11Speaker 4: That is the downside of hustle culture because that person
- 24:13Speaker 4: probably isn't just bouncing from the pickup game to be rude,
- 24:15Speaker 4: but they're like, oh I have four I run two
- 24:17Speaker 4: businesses or I have to go get on this team's
- 24:19Speaker 4: call or something. But I think Tampa, I will say that.
- 24:22Speaker 4: It's a criticism I have of Tampa's. I do think
- 24:24Speaker 4: this city is a little shallow. It's a little bit
- 24:27Speaker 4: of like entrepreneur.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I hear that a lot, you know, I hear that
- 24:30Speaker 3: a lot.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Yeah, because I'm doing my interviews, so I hear that
- 24:33Speaker 5: word a lot about Tampa, and it kind of scares
- 24:35Speaker 5: me not gonna lie, so I don't want to interrupt it.
- 24:37Speaker 3: But I hear shallow a lot, and.
- 24:39Speaker 4: By all means expand, I mean that's all I I
- 24:40Speaker 4: mean when I that was my I see a lot
- 24:43Speaker 4: of like very similar type of guys online specifically, and
- 24:47Speaker 4: we were kind of joking about like the red flags
- 24:49Speaker 4: on Instagram of like the typical Tampa douchebag guy. And
- 24:53Speaker 4: you know, I think there's something to be said about,
- 24:55Speaker 4: like when hustle becomes a little bit too toxic that
- 24:58Speaker 4: I do think.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Tampa becomes your personality.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I think that's where we actually have a downfall on
- 25:01Speaker 2: Instagram because you feel like everybody you swipe through is like, oh,
- 25:04Speaker 2: you got.
- 25:04Speaker 1: To do more, and if you're not doing more, well,
- 25:05Speaker 1: then you're falling behind.
- 25:07Speaker 2: I've fallen into that trap many times, and that's why
- 25:09Speaker 2: I mean again, we always joke about the differences in
- 25:11Speaker 2: Tampa and Saint Pete. But when I was moving over
- 25:14Speaker 2: to Saint Pete, as soon as I went to downtown,
- 25:16Speaker 2: I was like, oh, we don't really do that here.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, people are hustling and then people have
- 25:20Speaker 2: their own businesses. But people in Saint Pete could say, you.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Know what, I'm not doing it.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna sit at this table and we're just gonna
- 25:25Speaker 2: hang out for a couple hours, Whereas Tampa it's like
- 25:27Speaker 2: everyone's dressed up very nice and going out on the
- 25:30Speaker 2: scene and it's handshakes and it's business deals. Yeah, there's
- 25:33Speaker 2: a time and a place for that. But if it's
- 25:34Speaker 2: all the time, oh my god, Like where's the actual depth?
- 25:37Speaker 5: Like you said, yeah, no, I you know I heard
- 25:39Speaker 5: that as well, Like people tell me like, oh just
- 25:41Speaker 5: try Same Pete. I don't read engouting, same Peach, just
- 25:44Speaker 5: like I don't really have anything there. But I hear
- 25:46Speaker 5: that it's more relaxed, more kind of like I don't
- 25:48Speaker 5: mind the whole like hassle, you know, type of culture
- 25:51Speaker 5: that we have in Tampa for me, New York is
- 25:53Speaker 5: too much for Sam, right, So Tampa said it'd be like,
- 25:55Speaker 5: you know, slow down compared to that. But I hear
- 25:58Speaker 5: shout out like, oh, my guest, that's how they define it, right,
- 26:00Speaker 5: whether it's like dating, whether it's like you know, relationship friendships,
- 26:04Speaker 5: And it's got as scary honestly to have that label
- 26:06Speaker 5: as a CT you know for sure.
- 26:08Speaker 4: I mean I can even speak from like the I've
- 26:09Speaker 4: only been on two dates in Tampa. I went out
- 26:11Speaker 4: with a guy a couple months ago and he just
- 26:13Speaker 4: like left me at the bar while I was calling
- 26:15Speaker 4: my uber. I was like, where you go? I thought
- 26:16Speaker 4: it was a joke. I was like, he just like
- 26:17Speaker 4: got up and left.
- 26:19Speaker 3: That's crazy without making sure that you were Yeah.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Well, I was like, oh, my uber's here, you can
- 26:22Speaker 4: sit here for a couple more minutes. And then he
- 26:24Speaker 4: like just sat there for a minute and then left,
- 26:26Speaker 4: and I was like, we were having a great time.
- 26:28Speaker 4: And so I don't know, Like I don't know. I
- 26:30Speaker 4: think there's a parasite in the water, something that may
- 26:32Speaker 4: be infultraits the brains.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I mean, how long have you been in the Tampa area?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Uh? One year.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Okay, so one year and you're seeing like, okay, where
- 26:41Speaker 2: do you find like our I say this for your
- 26:43Speaker 2: side abbey, looking for good men, like good good quality humans.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Where have you found that those areas have been for you?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Even if you're making friendships or you know, you're talking
- 26:54Speaker 2: to women, where are they seeing that like, oh it's
- 26:56Speaker 2: the better quality?
- 26:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's a hard question. Just is like,
- 27:00Speaker 5: you know, I was in a relationship for a long time.
- 27:02Speaker 5: So whenever I'm in a relationship, I don't really like
- 27:04Speaker 5: tor and go like I just like, I mean we
- 27:05Speaker 5: can we can go out and stuff like you know,
- 27:06Speaker 5: movie stuff like that. Right, So whenever more like networking
- 27:09Speaker 5: events or like making friendships. That really has been probably
- 27:11Speaker 5: the past five months. And you know, from what I see,
- 27:15Speaker 5: I always I feel like what these five months told
- 27:17Speaker 5: me is that you really want to go out where
- 27:19Speaker 5: you think you might find the right partner.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:21Speaker 5: So for example, for me, I used to go just
- 27:23Speaker 5: because of my friends. So you know, if you go
- 27:25Speaker 5: to the club, I don't think that's where my personal
- 27:27Speaker 5: wife is going to be, right. I don't want to
- 27:29Speaker 5: see it like at five eleven behind the DJ book.
- 27:32Speaker 2: That's that's seeing this thing about the DJ boot.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Sometimes I'm just friendly. I hate an insecure my it's
- 27:40Speaker 4: told I just listening to music.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I just want to dance jerky.
- 27:46Speaker 5: But so you know, whenever I was thinking about even
- 27:48Speaker 5: talking with friends, they were like, you know, like maybe
- 27:50Speaker 5: having a walk at Bay Shore because that's show that
- 27:51Speaker 5: you're you know, you're active or you know, like I
- 27:54Speaker 5: don't know, like as long as you have like a purpose,
- 27:57Speaker 5: you know that that's big. But to be honest with you,
- 27:59Speaker 5: I'm strung going to have to find an answer to
- 28:01Speaker 5: your question. Like if you ask me, like where would
- 28:02Speaker 5: you go? I have no idea because I thought that,
- 28:05Speaker 5: like I mean, once again, I don't want to like
- 28:07Speaker 5: talk about too many places. But like I had heard
- 28:09Speaker 5: good things about lower Deck and then oh who.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Was telling you good things about lower.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Night right right? And then and then and then.
- 28:14Speaker 4: The past few people that those friend Terrence.
- 28:17Speaker 5: I cannot say or I cannot say it than but no,
- 28:20Speaker 5: like different people, I was like, oh, like lower Deck
- 28:22Speaker 5: is more like you know, it's open space, more like
- 28:23Speaker 5: you know, big vibe.
- 28:24Speaker 3: And then I hear.
- 28:25Speaker 5: Good like bad things about it right then I personally,
- 28:28Speaker 5: so I'm gonna gonna stay in my opinion, Like I like,
- 28:29Speaker 5: I'm Bird. I think it's a good situation. Then I
- 28:32Speaker 5: have some people that really don't like him Bird, right,
- 28:34Speaker 5: So it's like it's really is fifty to fifty, Like
- 28:36Speaker 5: there's really not a place where you're like, oh, that's
- 28:38Speaker 5: high level. Actually if you guys know, then then you know. Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Well I was.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Pushing him towards Saint Pete and I was like, have
- 28:42Speaker 4: you ever been out in Saint Pete because I feel
- 28:44Speaker 4: like it's a little bit more of a mature crowd,
- 28:46Speaker 4: not old fogies, but like okay people late twenties, early thirties,
- 28:51Speaker 4: a little bit more chill, not so much like the
- 28:54Speaker 4: five to eleven culture.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we want to have a little more in depth conversation.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And also I think a lot of the activities and
- 29:01Speaker 2: I like what you're saying, Like I like to do
- 29:02Speaker 2: activities that are like even like health driven. Like after this,
- 29:06Speaker 2: my date is literally like we're going to a workout class.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I'm like, that's so dope. I'm so excited. Yeah, I
- 29:14Speaker 2: set them up. Oh wow, I'm dating someone. And it's
- 29:16Speaker 2: like that that thought process is really what I'm looking for.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Some of that we could go We're gonna have a
- 29:20Speaker 2: beautiful dinner tonight, but also like we're kicking off the
- 29:22Speaker 2: day by getting to work out in ye mi.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Hell yeah, Okay, so we have the same values.
- 29:26Speaker 4: That is the good thing about Tampa is everybody's outside,
- 29:28Speaker 4: So I feel like it pushes everyone to be like
- 29:30Speaker 4: super fit and active and take that seriously. But I
- 29:33Speaker 4: do want to ask you about your healing journey because
- 29:35Speaker 4: when you came on based on bage sor we got
- 29:37Speaker 4: to talk about it a little bit and you went
- 29:39Speaker 4: through a tough breakup and feel free to like stop
- 29:42Speaker 4: me say like that's too personal or whatever. But I
- 29:45Speaker 4: am curious what that breakup really how that breakup impacted you,
- 29:49Speaker 4: Like what did it really push you towards? What did
- 29:51Speaker 4: you really think like you wanted to focus on after
- 29:53Speaker 4: it happened, Like what what was something that really struck
- 29:56Speaker 4: you about the ending of that relationship that you knew?
- 30:00Speaker 4: I feel free if you want to like pause and record.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Like, yeah, I feel like, you know, I'd been through
- 30:07Speaker 5: a break up before. But what, especially now that I
- 30:10Speaker 5: can have like a bigger view about this old hit
- 30:12Speaker 5: in personal it's been six months, is that I really
- 30:15Speaker 5: feel there's like heartbreak and heartbreak, and there's like also
- 30:18Speaker 5: love and love, right, And actually saw a very good
- 30:20Speaker 5: video that really I felt like, you know, was speaking
- 30:22Speaker 5: to me. I feel it can help a lot of men,
- 30:24Speaker 5: but I feel there's a difference between you go through
- 30:27Speaker 5: a heartbreak, you know, because like you're with someone and
- 30:30Speaker 5: you go through a heartbreak because you thought that she
- 30:32Speaker 5: was still one and so you know that that that
- 30:36Speaker 5: never happened to me. You know, I never saw myself
- 30:37Speaker 5: as a father, especially coming from having no father, right,
- 30:41Speaker 5: It was always like a very sensitive topic, and so
- 30:43Speaker 5: I think that's why it was very hard, right, Like
- 30:45Speaker 5: it was the first time that I saw myself having kids,
- 30:47Speaker 5: you know, being a father, just someone like you know,
- 30:49Speaker 5: I trust completely, like I always say, and literally this
- 30:52Speaker 5: type of example, I have weird examples just because I'm Italian,
- 30:55Speaker 5: but I always say, like, you know, the ten best models,
- 30:57Speaker 5: like the ten you know, most good looking dude like
- 31:00Speaker 5: in the room could have been with her and they
- 31:03Speaker 5: would have had one hundred percent trust, you know, which
- 31:04Speaker 5: is something that like I feel like trust is pre
- 31:06Speaker 5: huge in today's age just because like I don't know,
- 31:08Speaker 5: you see like a lot of stuff, right, there's so
- 31:10Speaker 5: much so many options. That trust is very huge and
- 31:13Speaker 5: so I already knew whenever it is just confirmed it.
- 31:16Speaker 5: But it was like sometimes whenever you're in a relationship,
- 31:18Speaker 5: especially now that you know, I went through therapy and
- 31:20Speaker 5: you know, I read books because I really want to evolve,
- 31:23Speaker 5: sometimes you're just entangled, right, So whenever the relationship ends,
- 31:26Speaker 5: you actually realize, oh, we were just entangled, you know
- 31:28Speaker 5: now that I'm alone. Honestly, she was not the person
- 31:30Speaker 5: for me, right, But sometimes it was actually like you know,
- 31:33Speaker 5: real hard, you know, love and it just didn't work
- 31:36Speaker 5: out right now personally, why I think it didn't work
- 31:38Speaker 5: out as well just because being an immigrant, I was
- 31:40Speaker 5: always dressed like you know, you like you said, we
- 31:43Speaker 5: live with a clock on our head, like you know,
- 31:45Speaker 5: you can you make one mistake and you know you're
- 31:47Speaker 5: you know you're gone or you know once again, you
- 31:49Speaker 5: don't find like an opportunity between that timeline you're gone.
- 31:53Speaker 5: So it's a lot like you really, like, I don't
- 31:55Speaker 5: think I can remember one day where I relaxed in
- 31:57Speaker 5: the past probably two years, Like I just don't do that.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Even if I'm on vacation, I'll try to work off
- 32:01Speaker 5: of the day So I feel like the difference in
- 32:04Speaker 5: that that I really hope men can understand because you know,
- 32:07Speaker 5: I really feel like, you know, it made me evolve,
- 32:09Speaker 5: is just like you gotta find the time with yourself
- 32:11Speaker 5: to be like either way, you know what, you know
- 32:13Speaker 5: what went through and what did what didn't work out?
- 32:15Speaker 3: What can I do better? And I just feel like, once.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Again, I'm not missing anybody, and I'm good in my
- 32:21Speaker 5: healing journey. But I feel like I had this beautiful
- 32:23Speaker 5: flower and I didn't know how to put water on it.
- 32:26Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 32:27Speaker 5: It's just like because I was too focused on, like,
- 32:29Speaker 5: you know, trying to keep my flower my own flower.
- 32:32Speaker 5: But you know, whenever you're with a woman, you know
- 32:34Speaker 5: you got to give you got to be present, you
- 32:35Speaker 5: got to give attention, you got to be like, you know,
- 32:37Speaker 5: fultful and yeah, you know this is what this is
- 32:41Speaker 5: what happened, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:42Speaker 4: So that sounds so poetic with the accent. If I
- 32:44Speaker 4: heard Scott say that when you were a woman.
- 32:47Speaker 2: That flower, I mean, when you're with a woman's not
- 32:51Speaker 2: the same way. I think that's powerful though, because when
- 32:55Speaker 2: I went through my break up, one of the biggest
- 32:56Speaker 2: things I learned is I needed to really learn how
- 32:58Speaker 2: to point the finger at myself. A lot of us
- 33:00Speaker 2: get out of a breakup and we're like, they did this,
- 33:02Speaker 2: and I can't believe they did that. I would never
- 33:04Speaker 2: want somebody like that. And it was the biggest moment
- 33:06Speaker 2: I had where I sat and I went to a
- 33:07Speaker 2: conference and really dove into who I was as a
- 33:09Speaker 2: human and I was like, oh my gosh, I was
- 33:13Speaker 2: wrong here, this is where I could be better in
- 33:15Speaker 2: another relationship. Here's where I need to grow as a man,
- 33:17Speaker 2: and where I need to step up and having that
- 33:19Speaker 2: acceptance in me. And as soon as you could turn
- 33:21Speaker 2: and look inward, then you could be ready to step
- 33:24Speaker 2: back outward. Which it sounds like you're doing that. You've
- 33:27Speaker 2: done that, and you'll continue doing that. But that's also
- 33:29Speaker 2: why I love your platform because you're helping other men
- 33:31Speaker 2: do that as well. To take a moment to say,
- 33:33Speaker 2: wait a second before you rush into the next business
- 33:35Speaker 2: deal or you rush into work in your body, which
- 33:37Speaker 2: is still part of it.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Let's also talk about.
- 33:40Speaker 2: The mind, what's going inside that we don't always express,
- 33:42Speaker 2: especially as men.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Yeah, where do you think, what area do you think
- 33:46Speaker 4: other men should be focusing on, like where do you
- 33:48Speaker 4: if you could speak to the gens listening, what's like
- 33:51Speaker 4: advice or.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean in these pus months it can be funny,
- 33:55Speaker 5: but I always say I really feel it like women
- 33:57Speaker 5: on average reno al to heal men don't. And so
- 34:00Speaker 5: what I really I just saw it, Like I cannot
- 34:02Speaker 5: say anything, but I just saw it.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Right, you do you go through a breakup.
- 34:06Speaker 5: This person went through a breakup just probably two months
- 34:08Speaker 5: before me, right, and so after like two three months
- 34:10Speaker 5: I really saw him doing good. I was like, damn,
- 34:12Speaker 5: you know, maybe they were just really not meant for it, right.
- 34:15Speaker 5: But it's also like a person that you know, you
- 34:16Speaker 5: go on dating apps and like you know, it's you know,
- 34:18Speaker 5: it's kind of like a just like fast type of
- 34:22Speaker 5: uh he say reward right, and you go, you know,
- 34:24Speaker 5: you go there there, their life is good and you know,
- 34:26Speaker 5: events and all this stuff. But then in the meanwhile,
- 34:29Speaker 5: you know, usually women are are home, right, they're like,
- 34:31Speaker 5: you know, suffering and they're really going through it. And
- 34:33Speaker 5: then what happens is that after six months, eight months,
- 34:35Speaker 5: ten months, the woman you know, maybe it's ready to
- 34:38Speaker 5: move forward or did move forward like it happened in
- 34:40Speaker 5: this situation and then the guy's like, oh wait, she
- 34:43Speaker 5: was not waiting for me, like you know what I'm saying.
- 34:45Speaker 5: And so I just feel like, you know, men, like
- 34:47Speaker 5: he's like really taking the time, like you said, to
- 34:49Speaker 5: look in ward and be like either way, what did
- 34:51Speaker 5: they do wrong?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Right?
- 34:52Speaker 5: And just how can I be at least like worst
- 34:54Speaker 5: case scenario if she wasn't the one? Really, how can
- 34:57Speaker 5: I be the best possible father or husband for my
- 35:00Speaker 5: person which has to be out there somewhere right, And
- 35:02Speaker 5: so it's retaking the time and be uncomfortable with the
- 35:05Speaker 5: you know, with the silence. You know, like being being
- 35:07Speaker 5: at home it was hard. It's like, you know, I
- 35:09Speaker 5: was fidgeting once again, it was it was a lot.
- 35:11Speaker 5: But I really feel like, you know, being a home
- 35:13Speaker 5: in silence is probably like the biggest like thing that
- 35:16Speaker 5: helped me going through it.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Really, what is it about the silence that's helping you?
- 35:19Speaker 5: It's just like, you know, you just with your thoughts
- 35:21Speaker 5: and you really realize that you know, no headphones, no hairpods,
- 35:24Speaker 5: no music, no you know, no anything, you really understand like, wait,
- 35:27Speaker 5: why are my thoughts on negative? We're like why are
- 35:29Speaker 5: my thoughts are telling me like, ooh do this? You
- 35:31Speaker 5: know what am I thinking? Because you know, at the
- 35:32Speaker 5: end of the day, we are the person that notices
- 35:35Speaker 5: the thoughts. We are not our thoughts, right.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I read. I read a lot of books.
- 35:38Speaker 4: I like that.
- 35:38Speaker 2: But that's because we are constantly surrounded by distraction. Every
- 35:42Speaker 2: time we got on our phone, we're simply distracting ourselves.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Every time we're listening to music, we're distracting ourselves. And
- 35:47Speaker 2: so it is so fascinating because I've done this a
- 35:49Speaker 2: lot recently, where you just go on a walk and
- 35:52Speaker 2: you think, no other stimulus, Oh, yeah, what's your thoughts?
- 35:55Speaker 4: When we were walking back we went to the Lightning
- 35:57Speaker 4: game on what was it Wednesday? My phone had died.
- 36:00Speaker 4: I had to raw dog that entire walk back on
- 36:02Speaker 4: Bay Shore, and I was like, oh, this city is
- 36:04Speaker 4: really beautiful.
- 36:05Speaker 5: It was also like a little bit uncomfortable for you, right, yes, yeah,
- 36:08Speaker 5: And I noticed that. You know, it's like there's all
- 36:10Speaker 5: these memes about like, you know, you go to a
- 36:11Speaker 5: party and then you open the phone and you look
- 36:13Speaker 5: for the weather, right just like because it's just like
- 36:15Speaker 5: it's just so usedful. So that's when in I feel
- 36:18Speaker 5: like I started what with December. Yeah, every day at
- 36:20Speaker 5: seven pm, I go for a walk. Like every day
- 36:22Speaker 5: at seven pm, I go for a walk, no phone.
- 36:24Speaker 5: I just have my Apple Watch just because like my
- 36:26Speaker 5: door is like digital. Otherwise I willed to leave even
- 36:29Speaker 5: the Apple Watch there because sometimes I have some identification.
- 36:31Speaker 5: I'm like, damn, I forgot to put on silence. But honestly,
- 36:34Speaker 5: it's super helpful, and I don't see a lot of
- 36:36Speaker 5: people doing it, to be honest, Like even when you
- 36:38Speaker 5: go to Bay Shore and you know, once again, maybe
- 36:40Speaker 5: they're just living life right, but everybody has a hair puts.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Everybody.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Oh, I'm always on my phone. I always make the joke.
- 36:45Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, I'm going out to pay sure to
- 36:47Speaker 4: be my husband, and then I'm just sitting on my
- 36:48Speaker 4: phone right right to music, being like I hope he
- 36:51Speaker 4: notices me.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Being intentional about it's so important. I think it is.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It sounds so simple, and I know somebody is listening,
- 36:58Speaker 2: Like I'm going to change my life by silence?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Truthfully, you can. Yeah, it just takes time, It takes patience.
- 37:05Speaker 5: I would definitely say that was the biggest thing for
- 37:07Speaker 5: me because just like I really realized how my thoughts
- 37:10Speaker 5: were like really controlling me, and I wasn't controlling my
- 37:12Speaker 5: thoughts right, and so even like normal it doesn't have
- 37:15Speaker 5: to be about a breakup. But like you know, sometimes
- 37:17Speaker 5: you wake up and you're like, oh but you forgot
- 37:18Speaker 5: these It's like why do you have to start to
- 37:20Speaker 5: really like you know, be this fast pace. And so
- 37:22Speaker 5: now I actually take things even slower, just like to
- 37:24Speaker 5: bother my mind. You know, maybe I'm going crazy.
- 37:26Speaker 2: What does your morning look like? How does it How
- 37:27Speaker 2: do you slow it down in the day.
- 37:29Speaker 5: Yeah, so I used to like I used to have
- 37:31Speaker 5: like you know, a bad peer, especially like you know,
- 37:33Speaker 5: through the breakup. You know, you wake up, you have
- 37:34Speaker 5: you look for the phone, just like you know, to
- 37:36Speaker 5: have something. Actually right now, I wake up around you know,
- 37:39Speaker 5: seven am, and then the first thing that I do,
- 37:40Speaker 5: of course, like you like drinking the glass of water
- 37:42Speaker 5: like classic, you know, it takes a routine. I actually
- 37:46Speaker 5: actually journal and pray right away. I used to do
- 37:49Speaker 5: it at night. But then what I noticed is that
- 37:50Speaker 5: you know, if I have a new working event or
- 37:52Speaker 5: if I have something, then I forget. And I don't
- 37:53Speaker 5: want to forget about God, you know, in my day,
- 37:55Speaker 5: so I would, you know, wake up in the first thing.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I want to do that.
- 37:57Speaker 5: So you know, I write what I'm grateful for, what
- 37:59Speaker 5: I'm praying for, I pray, uh, you know. I journal
- 38:02Speaker 5: if it's something like you know specific, like today, I
- 38:05Speaker 5: journal about like, hey, I have my first podcast in
- 38:07Speaker 5: the United.
- 38:07Speaker 3: States, right are we?
- 38:09Speaker 5: The first second actually second said yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry sorry,
- 38:15Speaker 5: So you know, kind of like that, and then I
- 38:17Speaker 5: like to do There's some people that prefer to go
- 38:19Speaker 5: to the gym and then do the content creation.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I formed.
- 38:22Speaker 5: My creativity is right in the morning, so that's when
- 38:24Speaker 5: I do my videos, partnerships and stuff. Then I have
- 38:26Speaker 5: I actually have like I work remote. I work for
- 38:28Speaker 5: a company, so I do my job for them, and
- 38:31Speaker 5: then I go to the gym. That's kind of pretty
- 38:32Speaker 5: much it, to be honest, a night I removed like
- 38:35Speaker 5: all the series and stuff. I prefer to like you know,
- 38:37Speaker 5: read or just like you know, just be with myself,
- 38:40Speaker 5: meditate things like that. It's pre boring, Like it's pretty boring,
- 38:43Speaker 5: but helpful. Yeah, alfo, Like I really felt like I
- 38:46Speaker 5: was just like on this you know, like what what
- 38:48Speaker 5: do they call it?
- 38:48Speaker 1: You know, like they aster wheel.
- 38:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, yes, the answer wheel and constantly you got
- 38:54Speaker 5: to get off.
- 38:55Speaker 3: That's that's why I did it, and that.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Is honestly, it's so inspiring.
- 38:58Speaker 2: It's so cool to see and what I love to
- 38:59Speaker 2: see is how it's helped in so many ways for you.
- 39:02Speaker 1: It's like living.
- 39:03Speaker 2: You see these people on TikTok talking about about to
- 39:06Speaker 2: literally be in your presence right now.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You can feel it.
- 39:08Speaker 2: It is an energy of like you have purpose, you
- 39:10Speaker 2: know where you're going. You're somebody that has gone through
- 39:12Speaker 2: trials and tribulations and life has thrown hard things your way,
- 39:16Speaker 2: and it's so easy for us in those moments to say, well,
- 39:19Speaker 2: it's just not meant for me, and instead you said, Okay,
- 39:21Speaker 2: these are the things that are happened to me.
- 39:22Speaker 1: What am I going to do about it?
- 39:24Speaker 2: To get myself in a better position, even if it's
- 39:26Speaker 2: one percent better today so I could have a better tomorrow.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And those are all just examples.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Yeah for me, Just like about once getting vision boards right,
- 39:33Speaker 5: I mean, they'll think about having a good femine. Other
- 39:36Speaker 5: things always been in my vision board, but I never
- 39:38Speaker 5: felt right. So thanks to my old relationship, which I
- 39:40Speaker 5: have nothing bad to talk about, but it's like, you know,
- 39:43Speaker 5: I felt like, oh, this is going to be in
- 39:44Speaker 5: that direction. And then when that ended and I worked
- 39:47Speaker 5: on myself, it was okay, then I can just prepare
- 39:49Speaker 5: myself for you know, whenever that's going to happen on
- 39:51Speaker 5: it that that's my only job. And so I used
- 39:53Speaker 5: to wear actually like a ring on my left hand.
- 39:55Speaker 5: That's why I was talking with Heavy two days ago
- 39:58Speaker 5: at this video that went by, because like I used
- 40:01Speaker 5: to wear a ring on my left hand, first of all,
- 40:02Speaker 5: because they don't want to be approached whenever I go out,
- 40:05Speaker 5: And second of all, just because like personally, I'm big
- 40:07Speaker 5: on symbolism. So for me to see it was really
- 40:09Speaker 5: almost like manifesting, right. And then my therapist kind of
- 40:12Speaker 5: like trash talk to me because she was like, well,
- 40:15Speaker 5: first of all, you are stopping your possible wife from
- 40:17Speaker 5: approaching you.
- 40:18Speaker 1: That's a good boy.
- 40:19Speaker 4: If you see someone that you think is interesting, maybe
- 40:21Speaker 4: you're at like a coffee shop, then it's like if
- 40:23Speaker 4: you approach me, I'm going, what is the sleeping Yeah.
- 40:27Speaker 5: And second of all, which I'm very sad to say,
- 40:29Speaker 5: it's true, I was getting approached more with the ring.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I was thinking that because you didn't mention that that's crazy.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I don't know that was a thing.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Now I'm gonna I'm gonna switch my or ring to
- 40:37Speaker 4: my left hand, and I'm finally gonna get a boyfriend.
- 40:39Speaker 2: When we were talking about this earlier, and let me
- 40:41Speaker 2: just go ahead and ask this really quick, are you
- 40:42Speaker 2: looking to date right now? No?
- 40:44Speaker 1: I'm okay. So that alone, that sentence is the challenge.
- 40:47Speaker 4: We have to talk about the elephants in the room though,
- 40:48Speaker 4: because he came in and you were on my page,
- 40:50Speaker 4: you're on another girl's page, and your DMS must be like,
- 40:54Speaker 4: you must be swimming in it, dude, So talk to
- 40:58Speaker 4: me about are you reading them? Do you read them
- 41:01Speaker 4: for entertainment? Has there been anyone where you're kind of
- 41:03Speaker 4: like maybe I should you know, has there any you know,
- 41:06Speaker 4: not at all?
- 41:07Speaker 5: It's yeah, I mean I done the video for you,
- 41:09Speaker 5: right and done the video for me, not for you
- 41:11Speaker 5: with you and you know, with the other girl. And
- 41:13Speaker 5: I was like, I just like to collaborate. I was like,
- 41:15Speaker 5: you know, if I can give some content, like you know,
- 41:18Speaker 5: talk about this that that was about my message and
- 41:20Speaker 5: literally in both of the videos I will say hopefully,
- 41:22Speaker 5: I mean, it didn't get wrong, But it's like I'm
- 41:24Speaker 5: not dating right, I'm in my healing process now once again?
- 41:27Speaker 5: Can you meet your person tomorrow? Sure, but it's like
- 41:28Speaker 5: I really know that I'm not ready, you know. So
- 41:31Speaker 5: I feel like I'm so intune thanks to this healing
- 41:33Speaker 5: process with myself that I know kind of where I'm at.
- 41:36Speaker 5: And so I was I went through the messa because
- 41:38Speaker 5: I was actually scared. I was like, how did how
- 41:41Speaker 5: did they pick up on like, oh, let me, let
- 41:42Speaker 5: me slide in his DMS?
- 41:43Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 41:44Speaker 5: And so yeah, I mean honestly, yeah, probably like twenty
- 41:48Speaker 5: five thirty in the past few days, twenty.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Five thirty, like shoot shot.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean some of them, some of them were nice,
- 41:54Speaker 5: some of them were kind of weird.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Not gonna lie, you know, it's like the weirdest one
- 41:57Speaker 2: you got, oh Jesus.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I mean there's one.
- 42:02Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know if he's the weirdest because
- 42:03Speaker 5: I don't really read them all, but there's one just
- 42:06Speaker 5: because like she was pretty old, like no offense, she
- 42:08Speaker 5: was pretty old, and she was like, well, so when
- 42:10Speaker 5: are you gonna make me some pasta?
- 42:13Speaker 3: Like that?
- 42:14Speaker 4: Because you just associate all Italians.
- 42:16Speaker 2: With the ability everything you got.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so that that was probably like yesterday.
- 42:22Speaker 5: But yeah, I just like I generally, you know, I
- 42:25Speaker 5: have some friends that they really are single, they want
- 42:27Speaker 5: to date, or like, you know, they feeling I'm like, bro,
- 42:29Speaker 5: I wish I can't.
- 42:30Speaker 1: You know, they're not even not even entertaining it. Yeah,
- 42:32Speaker 1: that's hard to.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Be upfront and to know where you're at because I
- 42:35Speaker 4: mean I even feel like a month ago, I was
- 42:36Speaker 4: in a place where I was like, yeah, I'm in
- 42:38Speaker 4: a mental health crisis. I don't want to bring anyone
- 42:40Speaker 4: into this. I think it'll lonely.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And you're like okay, You're like I'm ready.
- 42:43Speaker 5: I'm ready.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Now maybe I'm just going to pretend that I'm ready. No,
- 42:47Speaker 4: But that's so interesting that, like just the way the
- 42:49Speaker 4: people that think that they can challenge a little bit,
- 42:52Speaker 4: Like I think women see that and go they see
- 42:54Speaker 4: the ring and they.
- 42:55Speaker 5: Go, you know, I had no idea about that, And
- 42:57Speaker 5: you know, after my therapy s told me, then I
- 42:58Speaker 5: speak with my friends about I mean, even you guys
- 43:00Speaker 5: like that's actually a thing, like you have a ring.
- 43:02Speaker 5: Girls are like, oh, let me you know what I'm saying,
- 43:03Speaker 5: Like that that's crazy.
- 43:04Speaker 4: It doesn't compute with me because once I see the ring.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I think for some people to say, it becomes more
- 43:10Speaker 2: alluring because you're not available.
- 43:12Speaker 1: So they're like, wow, I mean, let me just see.
- 43:15Speaker 2: It's like you want what you can't have, right, and
- 43:18Speaker 2: so they're gonna see you. There's awesome Italian dude. They're like, well,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I'll go say, hello, what do I have to lose?
- 43:24Speaker 2: He's married?
- 43:25Speaker 4: But you also, this is interesting. You have a bracelet
- 43:27Speaker 4: with your maybe future daughter's.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Name is as well.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:32Speaker 5: I always like once again, I just I went into
- 43:35Speaker 5: like you know, meditation all the stuff, and I see
- 43:37Speaker 5: myself having two daughters, you know, like so I always like,
- 43:41Speaker 5: you know, I especially for the first one I see her,
- 43:43Speaker 5: like you know, I mean, if you ask me, it's
- 43:44Speaker 5: kind of crazy. But like, of course her name is
- 43:46Speaker 5: going to be clear. I mean, of course, maybe my
- 43:49Speaker 5: possible wife. You know, it's gonna have problems, but we're
- 43:51Speaker 5: gonna talk.
- 43:52Speaker 4: The heck I'm carrying this kid, and give me the
- 43:54Speaker 4: middle name. What made you choose Claire?
- 43:58Speaker 5: I always loved it, like, yeah, this little like French sound,
- 44:01Speaker 5: but you know it's here in the United States. I
- 44:03Speaker 5: want my I want my daughters to feel American. You
- 44:05Speaker 5: know you're gonna put her like, well you're Italian, No,
- 44:07Speaker 5: You're you know you're gonna tell yeah, yeah, So you know,
- 44:11Speaker 5: I always loved clear and and they see her if
- 44:14Speaker 5: you ask me like that, that's how deep I went.
- 44:16Speaker 5: I see her going to our bird. I don't know
- 44:17Speaker 5: why I have nothing with our birth.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And I'm such a believer in the vision. Like I
- 44:22Speaker 2: envisioned this. I drew a picture of where I'm standing
- 44:24Speaker 2: right now. Really in twenty eighteen, I showed people and
- 44:27Speaker 2: they're like, get out of here, and here we are,
- 44:29Speaker 2: Like it literally came by the year.
- 44:31Speaker 3: It happens.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Three years, I'm gonna be a host. Three years there
- 44:33Speaker 1: was a host.
- 44:33Speaker 3: It happens. It happens under percent.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I believe in the vision.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I think it's cool that you have the symbolism attached
- 44:39Speaker 2: to it, and I know it does definitely sound a
- 44:41Speaker 2: little odd to some people that are like, you already
- 44:42Speaker 2: have your daughter's name, you're in a picture of your family.
- 44:45Speaker 2: But at the same time, if that's what helps you
- 44:46Speaker 2: and stays motivated towards the purpose of what you're working toward, yeah,
- 44:50Speaker 2: this is your life.
- 44:50Speaker 4: You girls have that too. I mean you can be like, Okay,
- 44:52Speaker 4: you're gonna pick the name, but like every girl has
- 44:54Speaker 4: the notes apps, they like.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Yeah it's yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 44:58Speaker 5: But it's like I go like kind of like you said,
- 45:00Speaker 5: like I mean just like but like I go very
- 45:02Speaker 5: like this is my actual vision board when I have
- 45:04Speaker 5: the car, the monitor that I'm going to use, my wallet,
- 45:06Speaker 5: the you know, the partforms that I use. Like I
- 45:09Speaker 5: go very very deep and that that helps me.
- 45:11Speaker 3: You know.
- 45:12Speaker 5: I hope people it's like they just like live life
- 45:13Speaker 5: and they go with the flow. And if I feel like,
- 45:15Speaker 5: if you're motivating, you have a purpose, you're gonna achieve
- 45:18Speaker 5: it like one hundred percent. But for me, like in
- 45:20Speaker 5: the days where I don't feel like it, that's what
- 45:22Speaker 5: it helps, right because like, oh, this this is actually
- 45:24Speaker 5: who I want to be.
- 45:24Speaker 3: So today I got to still you know, be on track. Man.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I'm inspired by you.
- 45:27Speaker 2: I look forward to continue to follow you, especially on
- 45:29Speaker 2: all the different platforms.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I wish you nothing but the best ship.
- 45:32Speaker 4: I know.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Eventually, whenever you decide to step out on the dating world,
- 45:35Speaker 2: you're not gonna have a problem at all.
- 45:36Speaker 4: That's one of these coups that's gonna slide me up.
- 45:38Speaker 4: I'm not looking for anything, and he's like, well, I
- 45:40Speaker 4: do make a good pass.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Where do you think are the best women in Tampa? Then?
- 45:44Speaker 4: Ah, you know what?
- 45:44Speaker 3: That's ask me for the men so well.
- 45:46Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like, in a weird way, I
- 45:48Speaker 4: feel like new women to Champa kind of have to
- 45:50Speaker 4: figure that out too, because I do feel like there
- 45:52Speaker 4: is also kind of a specific type of woman that
- 45:55Speaker 4: lives here too, because I'll criticize the men, but I
- 45:57Speaker 4: will equally criticize the women, and there is first you're
- 46:00Speaker 4: a wanna be influencer type that moves here and lives here.
- 46:04Speaker 4: And I say that would love as somebody who's in
- 46:07Speaker 4: the Instagram space. I also feel very weird about the
- 46:10Speaker 4: word influencer.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel more as you are one.
- 46:13Speaker 4: I know, it's just weird because there's very much like
- 46:16Speaker 4: the shop. I like to know it and someone who
- 46:19Speaker 4: posts on like to know it.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I know.
- 46:22Speaker 4: That I'm also trying to figure that out. I would
- 46:24Speaker 4: guess maybe like religious spaces, I know your faith is
- 46:27Speaker 4: very important to you. Radiant Church is like if.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I want to go too. I was joking with Avy
- 46:33Speaker 1: the other.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I was like, you got to join like an organization,
- 46:35Speaker 2: like a like a club sport kind of.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Don't put me down for athletics, Like no, but it's.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Just the social gathering because it's not going out to
- 46:41Speaker 2: a bar on a Friday, which is nothing wrong we're doing,
- 46:43Speaker 2: but you're just setting yourself up in a different setting
- 46:45Speaker 2: where it's more casual, like oh, we're gonna go play
- 46:47Speaker 2: volleyball on a Tuesday. Now you're surrounding yourself with fifteen
- 46:50Speaker 2: people that who knows. One person's maybe the athlete, one
- 46:53Speaker 2: person's maybe the escape who knows.
- 46:55Speaker 4: I will say, so we have a mutual friend La,
- 46:57Speaker 4: who runs the run club, and I met some really
- 46:59Speaker 4: cool rolls there at this at the Saint Pete one. Yes,
- 47:02Speaker 4: so I mean maybe that, but also like you're Italian.
- 47:05Speaker 3: I mean I'm not looking. I was just curious, you know, I.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Just iury fine, I know, nobody asks, and so he's like,
- 47:14Speaker 4: look at all the fifty year olds and my DM.
- 47:16Speaker 4: So I guess what I'm trying to say is that
- 47:18Speaker 4: same bay like women who are looking for friends are
- 47:20Speaker 4: still like and they all live in Saint Pete. I
- 47:22Speaker 4: think they all live in Saint Pete.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now. Yeah, there's a reason I moved.
- 47:25Speaker 4: To say listen, I came in high like I was
- 47:29Speaker 4: here a month and I was already criticizing Tampa.
- 47:31Speaker 5: Okay, I gotta hang out morning the same, Pete.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Then I'm telling you, anytime you come over, let me go.
- 47:37Speaker 3: But you just got to go on this what he's
- 47:38Speaker 3: called the street, but what is called Central?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Okay, you like a good walk, walk Vanoy, walk the
- 47:44Speaker 2: pier and then walk Central and depending on the time
- 47:47Speaker 2: of day, you'll get a different vibe of people.
- 47:49Speaker 1: But it's so nice.
- 47:51Speaker 4: We need to do like a big not influencer, but
- 47:53Speaker 4: creator dinner and maybe we all go to Saint Pete
- 47:56Speaker 4: or something. We get like La Terrence, you me who else?
- 48:00Speaker 4: Street Grath, Oh my god, j Grath. I'm just thrown
- 48:02Speaker 4: out names.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I know anybody? Yeah wow, I don't know.
- 48:07Speaker 2: I know.
