This past weekend, we witnessed an incredible display of leadership as Canadian PM Mark Carney forged historic alliances with France, Norway, and the EU. In stark contrast, we have seen Donald Trump’s contradictory statements regarding the ongoing War in Iran, raising critical concerns about the direction of leadership and diplomacy.
Closer to home, Pierre Poilievre and Danielle Smith are embracing a troubling brand of Trump-inspired populism, which poses a real risk of sliding into fascism right here in Canada. We cannot afford to be complacent in these challenging times.
