Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #255: The Impact of Intentional Thinking
Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:06Speaker 2: What's up girl? Not much too, just just kicking it
- 0:11Speaker 2: with my friend, my soul sister.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Is that me?
- 0:17Speaker 2: That's you? I love your faith, I love your face.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I did something today. It was quite interesting. I don't
- 0:23Speaker 1: know that I've ever done this before. I honestly don't
- 0:29Speaker 1: think i've done this before in a way that I
- 0:31Speaker 1: did it today. I'm in a nonprofit organization and I
- 0:39Speaker 1: am the first vice president this year, with the intention
- 0:42Speaker 1: of being president next year. And I oversaw a huge event.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I've talked about it before in other videos that we've done,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and then with my job, we do a lot of
- 0:59Speaker 1: event planning. Today I was working on something and I
- 1:03Speaker 1: got up and I had to go use the restroom.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So I'm walking to the restroom and my immediate question
- 1:10Speaker 1: internally to myself was what am I learning from all?
- 1:15Speaker 2: This just gave me goosebumps. Isn't that awesome?
- 1:21Speaker 1: That's a good cause, Like, ooh, this is a good
- 1:23Speaker 1: conversation with myself. And I started thinking about the things
- 1:27Speaker 1: what am I learning from this? And it was I'm
- 1:34Speaker 1: learning to be better at communication. I am learning to
- 1:39Speaker 1: work with groups of people in different like committees, so
- 1:48Speaker 1: different committees, each committee overseeing a piece of whatever we're doing.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'm learning to be I'm a pretty organized person when
- 1:57Speaker 1: it comes to this to my U, but I'm learning
- 2:02Speaker 1: to be even more organized with all the moving pieces
- 2:07Speaker 1: I have going on, getting even better at being organized.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Like I just started thinking about, I'm learning leadership skills.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm learning to be okay in front of people and
- 2:19Speaker 1: ask for help. Whereas that's huge to stand up in
- 2:25Speaker 1: front of a group of people and go, Okay, this
- 2:29Speaker 1: is the thing. I'm not sure what to do. What's
- 2:32Speaker 1: your input? History is I need to figure this out
- 2:38Speaker 1: so I don't look like an idiot and I don't
- 2:40Speaker 1: failed and it needs to be perfect and put all
- 2:43Speaker 1: the pressure on me to do it. I don't do
- 2:47Speaker 1: that anymore. Like I stand up, I'm like, okay, this
- 2:50Speaker 1: is Here's where I'm at.
- 2:51Speaker 2: This is what I need to figure out.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Does anybody have any input on it?
- 2:56Speaker 2: Like I just open it up. So just having that.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Moment in time today to go what am I learning
- 3:06Speaker 1: from all of this?
- 3:09Speaker 2: It was just like a.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Wow, this is cool. So anyway I was today, it
- 3:16Speaker 1: was fabulous.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I love it. I love it because it just makes
- 3:20Speaker 2: me even ponder questions like why am I doing it?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Well?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Why did I do a TikTok? Why did I Why
- 3:25Speaker 2: did I change my sign on my door? Why did it?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Because I've had doubts, and it's I've had some doubts
- 3:30Speaker 2: this week, like what am I doing? Why am I
- 3:32Speaker 2: Why am I putting all this stuff on my door?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Like what what? What are you planning? Universe? Like I
- 3:36Speaker 2: don't You're you're doing You're telling me these things and
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'm I'm listening and I'm being the obedient servant and
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm following along with all this stuff. But it's like
- 3:43Speaker 2: I was really doubting it this one day, and it's
- 3:46Speaker 2: like it provoked one of my clients to ask me
- 3:48Speaker 2: a question. What she what she her perspective was on channeling,
- 3:52Speaker 2: and then she opened up and told me things that
- 3:54Speaker 2: I had never heard. That We've never had this conversation,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and I don't know how many years I've been seeing
- 3:58Speaker 2: her because she's a person that comes in we don't
- 4:00Speaker 2: have there's not a lot of conversations. So it was
- 4:03Speaker 2: that was awesome. And then as soon as I got
- 4:04Speaker 2: done with that meeting, I get a message from the girl,
- 4:06Speaker 2: how do you like that sign? Did you get it up?
- 4:09Speaker 2: This is after I was thinking I was not going
- 4:10Speaker 2: to put it up. I'm siiy so so yeah, it's
- 4:16Speaker 2: it's just funny. But it's like, what am I learning
- 4:18Speaker 2: from all this? Well, I'm learning, I can tell you
- 4:21Speaker 2: right now. I'm learning that I'm not the fearful person
- 4:24Speaker 2: I was. I don't care how I'm being perceived, if
- 4:28Speaker 2: I've got makeup on or don't have makeup on, or
- 4:31Speaker 2: if I'm not dying my hair or I am dying
- 4:32Speaker 2: my hair. This is me, Like, this is me. I'm
- 4:37Speaker 2: in a nice cozy shirt right now. I mean, you
- 4:39Speaker 2: know what I mean. This is me, this is this
- 4:41Speaker 2: is how I am. This is and it's okay. It's
- 4:43Speaker 2: okay for it to be that, for me to be
- 4:45Speaker 2: that way, because I was not that way. My mom
- 4:48Speaker 2: never went to the freaking mailbox without having her makeup on.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I was out looking good to go out to the mailbox.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So it's like there's a lot of stuff that we
- 4:55Speaker 2: grow up with, and it's like it's and my kids
- 4:57Speaker 2: have helped teach me this really a lot. Because I'll
- 4:59Speaker 2: go they don't. They don't have to wear makeup. They'll
- 5:01Speaker 2: go out and do things all the time and I'm like,
- 5:03Speaker 2: oh my god, I don't know how you do that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I do it all the time. Now it's like it's
- 5:07Speaker 2: or it's just very limited. I don't there's nothing, it's
- 5:10Speaker 2: I just find it fascinating. So it's like, what am
- 5:12Speaker 2: I learning? I'm learning to grow. I'm learning that the
- 5:15Speaker 2: only one that has the like me is me and
- 5:18Speaker 2: and the and for most of my life it wasn't
- 5:20Speaker 2: me that was liking me. I was wanting somebody outside
- 5:24Speaker 2: of me to like me, to give my value to me.
- 5:27Speaker 2: And so that's kind of shifting. And you recognize things
- 5:29Speaker 2: how you react or respond to things, but you you're
- 5:33Speaker 2: recognizing things or how you don't anymore. You don't have
- 5:36Speaker 2: the same responses that you would have had before. So there,
- 5:41Speaker 2: that's a great question that we could probably ask ourselves
- 5:43Speaker 2: that every day, if not every week, like really checking
- 5:46Speaker 2: in with yourself. It's it adds to the instead of
- 5:50Speaker 2: us talking about the things that happened that we're bad
- 5:52Speaker 2: today with the kids. You know how kids you know,
- 5:54Speaker 2: get him from school and the teacher might say, oh
- 5:56Speaker 2: it was great or oh it was really just like
- 5:58Speaker 2: this one and they say stuff. It could be like, well,
- 6:01Speaker 2: we had a little bit of situations where we had
- 6:04Speaker 2: a little bit of moment, but on the opposite side
- 6:06Speaker 2: of that, it was all these great things. But we
- 6:08Speaker 2: don't always focus on those things, right, And so that's
- 6:11Speaker 2: what we're learning to do on a regular basis, is
- 6:14Speaker 2: really really everything that's happening in your experience. You could
- 6:17Speaker 2: be like, I like that, but I don't like that.
- 6:19Speaker 2: So if I don't like that, what would I like
- 6:21Speaker 2: instead of that? I like this? So all all of
- 6:24Speaker 2: this is making us pick and choose. Right. That goes
- 6:26Speaker 2: back to Abraham Hicks that you talked about in the
- 6:28Speaker 2: last session. It's it's all that information is right there,
- 6:33Speaker 2: and it's really just being aware. That's how That's how
- 6:36Speaker 2: life is. We complicated so much. I've even when I
- 6:39Speaker 2: channel right, I've got messages that I've written to myself
- 6:41Speaker 2: that I've channel written to myself that's telling me that
- 6:44Speaker 2: we over complicate things. Yeah, we sure do.
- 6:50Speaker 1: As you were talking, though, what I realized I didn't
- 6:55Speaker 1: realize this earlier.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I didn't put it in this perspective earlier.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But what I realized because I was like, just felt
- 7:00Speaker 1: so good, the reason when I had to write it down,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the reason why it felt so good was typically I'm
- 7:09Speaker 1: in a space of what am I learning from this?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Because it's been something heavy. It's something that's drawing me down.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's something that's dramatic, that's getting my attention. It's something
- 7:21Speaker 1: that typically I would get mad, frustrated and irritated and
- 7:26Speaker 1: just or feel guilt or something like that. And I
- 7:30Speaker 1: know those things happen for a reason so that I
- 7:33Speaker 1: can learn and grow, but they're heavy, there's heaviness to them.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Today it was what am I learning from this? From
- 7:43Speaker 1: a more uplifting position or perspective. It wasn't through heaviness.
- 7:51Speaker 1: That's why it felt so good. I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 7:55Speaker 1: that is so freaking cool. And then what I didn't
- 7:59Speaker 1: tell you through that whole story was when I was
- 8:06Speaker 1: when I was contemplating what I was learning, I was like,
- 8:11Speaker 1: there are great things coming, there's a reason, there's a
- 8:15Speaker 1: reason why I'm learning all this, and there are some
- 8:18Speaker 1: great things coming, and I'm just like, like, I have
- 8:20Speaker 1: chills all over my body right now, and I'm just like,
- 8:24Speaker 1: this is fucking cool.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It really is, It really is. And so that goes
- 8:30Speaker 2: back to the whole reaction thing. Right. It's because we
- 8:33Speaker 2: learn how to respond instead of react. Right, But it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: having a would you call the response or a reaction?
- 8:39Speaker 2: If somebody is watching something in your team wins, you
- 8:42Speaker 2: jump up and you're all excited, would that be a
- 8:44Speaker 2: reaction or a response?
- 8:47Speaker 1: I would call that a reaction actually, because that's what
- 8:51Speaker 1: I was. It's a jing reaction and jilting reaction. Excitement
- 8:56Speaker 1: or jolting reaction and anger.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but with what feels better? Right? Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 1: A response to me is when you're experiencing something that's
- 9:08Speaker 1: getting your attention, but you have the ability to just
- 9:12Speaker 1: like take a breath and pause before you react. It's
- 9:20Speaker 1: more of a response to me. So when I say react,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you can see me. My body comes forward and I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: less like react. When I respond, it's to pull back
- 9:28Speaker 1: and take a breath, and I kind of pull back,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and you just see me when I do it. I respond,
- 9:34Speaker 1: So I'm pulling back and I'm settling into this moment
- 9:38Speaker 1: to articulate what I'm going to come forward with.
- 9:42Speaker 2: That makes sense, Yeah, to me, it's like you're leaning
- 9:45Speaker 2: back into your intuition. You're like you're safe you're comfortable,
- 9:48Speaker 2: there's no defense, there's nothing that you have to protect.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You're at ease and Greece and it's like, that's what
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm thinking. I'm thinking, Okay, so my team just scored
- 9:56Speaker 2: a touchdown and I'm like responding, yeah, really, whoa, it
- 10:03Speaker 2: wasn't that wonderful? That would be so silly? Did did
- 10:10Speaker 2: you just see what happened? And the funny thing is
- 10:16Speaker 2: that I don't. I don't think I my reactions always
- 10:18Speaker 2: before were always bad. I don't know that I could
- 10:21Speaker 2: have ever had a good reaction because I was so
- 10:23Speaker 2: controlled with my emotions and my feelings. You know, like
- 10:27Speaker 2: we were talking about in the last session. We're talking
- 10:30Speaker 2: about a person that was sharing a lot of emotions
- 10:32Speaker 2: and crying and you know all these things. My eyes
- 10:34Speaker 2: roll up because that's how it felt at that moment.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It was. But after I, you know, walked my way
- 10:39Speaker 2: through it, I recognized everything. But it's it just didn't
- 10:43Speaker 2: it's just such a generous ones to come in the
- 10:47Speaker 2: word generous, but it was just such a everything could
- 10:50Speaker 2: be so much better, And I'm learning that everything is
- 10:53Speaker 2: so much better. It really is, because it's really about
- 10:56Speaker 2: our perspective. It really is about our perspective and how
- 10:59Speaker 2: we're looking at it and are we looking at it
- 11:01Speaker 2: through Like what gloss did I put on these glasses today? Oh? Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 2: look at everything looks like shit out there today. It's like,
- 11:06Speaker 2: am I going to grab these glasses over here? Oh? Wow?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Like I love your shirts. I love the colors on it.
- 11:13Speaker 2: You know, it's those things or how many times you
- 11:16Speaker 2: got someone that because they're so wrapped up in their stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I'm wandering off now, but they're still wrapped in their stuff.
- 11:21Speaker 2: They've been in my office a million times. Oh my gosh,
- 11:24Speaker 2: is that brand new? No, it's been here for like
- 11:27Speaker 2: five years, so it's it's I've done the same thing.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That's why I laugh about this kind of stuff because
- 11:33Speaker 2: it's like there's been such a progression. There's so much
- 11:36Speaker 2: happening right now. I feel like there's such an evolution.
- 11:40Speaker 2: We talk about running noses and releasing and all that stuff.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Right now we have so much emotions coming up, so
- 11:46Speaker 2: much things to be released. The other day, one of
- 11:49Speaker 2: my daughters was, well, I think a couple of are
- 11:52Speaker 2: more irritated. And then I had my granddaughter with me
- 11:56Speaker 2: and she was irritated, and you know I could I'm
- 11:59Speaker 2: IRRITATD with her irritation and you know, and then recognizing
- 12:03Speaker 2: it so then I can adjust because I adjust so quickly,
- 12:06Speaker 2: more quickly than I've ever done before, because why it's
- 12:10Speaker 2: a fast description of what you just said a few
- 12:12Speaker 2: minutes ago was because it felt better. It feels better,
- 12:16Speaker 2: just like you's processing your whole walking through the room
- 12:19Speaker 2: and it's like, you know, asking yourself questions, asking yourself
- 12:22Speaker 2: a question and it's like, holy crap, like that's a
- 12:24Speaker 2: big question. That's huge. Yeah, And then it gets the
- 12:27Speaker 2: opportunity to sit there and be like, look at all
- 12:30Speaker 2: the amazing things that I'm doing. I'm I'm not the
- 12:33Speaker 2: person that's sitting in my house anymore and not doing anything.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I'm not saying that you ever did. I'm just saying
- 12:38Speaker 2: me that would probably be me. Why am I doing
- 12:40Speaker 2: some of the things I'm doing Because I'm because I'm listening.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And I feel when you're listening and you start getting
- 12:46Speaker 2: more and more stuff, you start becoming confident because things
- 12:49Speaker 2: keep showing up for you that are synchronistic all day long,
- 12:52Speaker 2: like all the time. It's just is that that's just
- 12:55Speaker 2: the way it is. So it just kind of life
- 12:58Speaker 2: flows differently.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, we have a big meeting coming up,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and it would be one of those types of meetings
- 13:07Speaker 1: where typically knowing the context and knowing the history of
- 13:17Speaker 1: people who will be there, it would be one of
- 13:19Speaker 1: those types of meetings for the general population that would
- 13:22Speaker 1: look at it and have dread. Okay, and this is
- 13:27Speaker 1: coming up like in a couple of days, and that's
- 13:30Speaker 1: the way a couple of key people that are going
- 13:34Speaker 1: to be at this meeting that I'm around, that that's
- 13:38Speaker 1: the energy that they are projecting or we're projecting as
- 13:43Speaker 1: of yesterday. And I knew it in the moment in
- 13:50Speaker 1: the conversation, and I would say the words differently. I'd
- 13:54Speaker 1: be like, oh my gosh, it's going to be the
- 13:55Speaker 1: most amazing meeting. It's going to be so good. And
- 14:00Speaker 1: then they would go back to the way they talk
- 14:03Speaker 1: where we're talking, and so I let it go because
- 14:07Speaker 1: every time they would say it, I would counteract it
- 14:09Speaker 1: with the type of meaning I want. I want an
- 14:13Speaker 1: incredible meeting where everybody's collaborating and coming together and making
- 14:18Speaker 1: this event just amazing, right, And so that's my focus.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I want to be very intentional about my energy and
- 14:29Speaker 1: what I'm bringing to this meeting and leading up to it,
- 14:32Speaker 1: because that matters. So I brought it to the forefront
- 14:36Speaker 1: of conversation this morning. I said, listen, if you want
- 14:43Speaker 1: to have an exceptional meeting, if you want this meeting
- 14:47Speaker 1: to go really well, you have to talk about this
- 14:51Speaker 1: meeting as if it is happening and it's going so
- 14:57Speaker 1: good and it's so enjoyable, and like, I'm trying to
- 15:00Speaker 1: explain this, and the person was very appreciative for me
- 15:04Speaker 1: to remind them of that because we've had these conversations before,
- 15:08Speaker 1: but her default programming is the not so feel good
- 15:14Speaker 1: words about things that are coming up. And it was like,
- 15:20Speaker 1: we have if we want an amazing event, we have
- 15:25Speaker 1: to bring amazing energy that means to this meeting where
- 15:30Speaker 1: you know there may be some people that you don't
- 15:33Speaker 1: really care for. You got to change the energy of
- 15:37Speaker 1: that meeting now so that the meeting goes well, Like
- 15:41Speaker 1: set it up energetically so we're walking into and bringing
- 15:45Speaker 1: this energy. They're so amazing And she's like, oh, yep,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I understand, and I agree, and I will work on that,
- 15:56Speaker 1: which is all I can ask. I can't I can't
- 15:59Speaker 1: change the way she is, I can't change your default programming,
- 16:02Speaker 1: but at least she has awareness, and I did tell her,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm like, you have to stop having these conversations like that.
- 16:12Speaker 1: So it's an interesting dynamic to be around people again
- 16:18Speaker 1: knowing where I used to be with myself, knowing I
- 16:22Speaker 1: used to be like that, and I still every once
- 16:25Speaker 1: in a while will get into that same default programming.
- 16:30Speaker 1: The difference is I catch myself quicker the most, And
- 16:37Speaker 1: so the interesting dynamic is the counter reaction, Right, So
- 16:43Speaker 1: they're coming with this and I'm coming with that. Like
- 16:45Speaker 1: they're coming with that and I'm coming with this. So
- 16:48Speaker 1: it's making sure that I'm maintaining my energy in those
- 16:51Speaker 1: conversations where I don't get irritated and try to have
- 16:56Speaker 1: this higher energy in the conversation.
- 16:59Speaker 2: I'm not saying like I'm.
- 17:01Speaker 1: All like excited and blah blah blah, dance around. I'm
- 17:03Speaker 1: just saying my words are intentional with what I'm saying,
- 17:09Speaker 1: compared to how somebody talks when they're just on their
- 17:13Speaker 1: default program words.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So that's been a big.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Thing over the past couple of days. And actually I've
- 17:22Speaker 1: been practicing that for a while because of that big
- 17:25Speaker 1: event I was overseeing with the nonprofit organization, and we're
- 17:33Speaker 1: talking like multiple people in a meeting having those conversations
- 17:40Speaker 1: of kind of dread in some respects and me counter
- 17:48Speaker 1: acting counter acting with more intentional, higher vibrational words, and
- 17:56Speaker 1: they start catching it. So the more we have meetings,
- 18:01Speaker 1: the more the conversations were different, the more relaxed they
- 18:06Speaker 1: were when they showed up. And I had somebody say
- 18:10Speaker 1: to me this morning that she said, you know, when
- 18:16Speaker 1: I first got into this organization and I went to
- 18:19Speaker 1: these meetings, people were arguing all the time.
- 18:25Speaker 2: For this.
- 18:26Speaker 1: We're having the same event every year, just somebody oversees
- 18:30Speaker 1: it and somebody different overseas it every year, and she
- 18:33Speaker 1: goes this year, it seemed to go really smooth. The
- 18:38Speaker 1: meetings were really calm. Everything was different, and everything seemed
- 18:44Speaker 1: to go well. I'm like, if people in the organization
- 18:50Speaker 1: is recognizing that that is a validation I'm doing my
- 18:55Speaker 1: job like I'm doing the intentional work with how I
- 18:59Speaker 1: show up, that is the validation. It's not an ego
- 19:03Speaker 1: thing that I need to know, but it's definitely a
- 19:05Speaker 1: validation for me to know that I'm doing way better
- 19:10Speaker 1: than I've ever had done in these positions that I'm
- 19:13Speaker 1: holding right now. Now that amount of people, well.
- 19:17Speaker 2: You're on the right path. It just lets you know
- 19:20Speaker 2: you're on the right path right especially those kind of
- 19:22Speaker 2: messages that when they come through. But it also you
- 19:25Speaker 2: have presented an opportunity. They can continue doing the same
- 19:27Speaker 2: way they've been doing it, or they can change the
- 19:30Speaker 2: way they're using their words. And it's an opportunity. It's
- 19:32Speaker 2: not like you have to go do this or else.
- 19:35Speaker 2: It's no. You can do whatever you want to, but
- 19:37Speaker 2: you're either going to have fun with what was being
- 19:39Speaker 2: presented to you right now or you're not going to
- 19:41Speaker 2: have fun. And I'm going to have fun. So one
- 19:44Speaker 2: of the things that we have been doing lately my
- 19:47Speaker 2: group and stuff, we remind ourselves I'm in the five D.
- 19:50Speaker 2: We can dip our choes into the three D all time.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And each person has to identify because I was sitting
- 19:56Speaker 2: here thinking what does the five D mean to me?
- 19:58Speaker 2: But it's each person has to identify what does five
- 20:00Speaker 2: D feel like to them? Because I've got my own perspective,
- 20:03Speaker 2: I've had my own experiences. I'm going to go through
- 20:05Speaker 2: things differently, But being in a five D for me,
- 20:08Speaker 2: is it means I'm going to see things from a
- 20:09Speaker 2: higher perspective. Right, I'm not gonna go I'm gonna have
- 20:12Speaker 2: a good time going to that meeting. That sounds like
- 20:14Speaker 2: job right, the old the old connotations. I can't even
- 20:18Speaker 2: think of any type of meaning I've ever gone to that.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Our conversation was like, oh, yay, we're going to a meeting,
- 20:23Speaker 2: do you know what I mean? But you're already having
- 20:25Speaker 2: the meeting, So it's like, what if what if it's
- 20:27Speaker 2: the most amazing meeting we've ever had? What if we
- 20:30Speaker 2: get so much out of this meeting that we've never
- 20:32Speaker 2: gotten before. What if we all leave here filling, uplifted
- 20:37Speaker 2: and jovial. When we get into our we're like laughing
- 20:40Speaker 2: and get into the inner to our cars and we're like,
- 20:41Speaker 2: wait a minute, wait a minute, I wish just had
- 20:44Speaker 2: a meeting. This is not the right kind of behavior
- 20:46Speaker 2: to have, you know what I mean? Yeah, it could
- 20:50Speaker 2: be all those things, and it's like, it's let's play
- 20:52Speaker 2: the what if game. That's the that's the fun stuff,
- 20:54Speaker 2: and that's bringing that stuff, you know, with with our
- 20:56Speaker 2: teams and stuff like that. It's talking to them because
- 20:59Speaker 2: I've got it on my I don't know if I
- 21:01Speaker 2: ever said it, but I said that, did I say that?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Colton wrote on my board? So there was a spot
- 21:06Speaker 2: on my board. I sent it to the kids. Probably
- 21:09Speaker 2: there was a spot because I've got a board. It
- 21:10Speaker 2: says all kinds of things. Wouldn't it be amazing if
- 21:12Speaker 2: and we're here to follow our passions and create and
- 21:15Speaker 2: stuff like that. And it's like Colton says, can I
- 21:18Speaker 2: write on your board? And I said, yeah, well you
- 21:20Speaker 2: can write down here in this space. He says, okay,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and he wrote on there. What if I got to
- 21:24Speaker 2: be rich? What if I got to be rich? That
- 21:27Speaker 2: to me, I have been saying that every single day
- 21:29Speaker 2: because it's like it's so it's so simple, but it's silly. Yeah,
- 21:35Speaker 2: what if I got to be rich? Just the whole statement.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I was like, man that I said, that's staying on
- 21:41Speaker 2: my board. I said, everything else can get a race.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I'll probably freaking put something over the top of it,
- 21:44Speaker 2: so can nothing can ever change it? But I thought
- 21:47Speaker 2: it was great. But it's like, it's fun to play
- 21:49Speaker 2: the what if game. It's fun to play the what
- 21:50Speaker 2: if game with everybody from children all the way up
- 21:53Speaker 2: to adults. Of course, then you're going to have some
- 21:55Speaker 2: sour apple in there. Then I say something and you'll
- 21:58Speaker 2: be like what, And then you throw out something that's
- 22:01Speaker 2: the total opposite of what they just throw out and
- 22:03Speaker 2: make them think even if they don't have a good
- 22:05Speaker 2: reaction during that time frame, it doesn't mean need to
- 22:07Speaker 2: plan a seed, right.
- 22:09Speaker 1: And it's not just that person, it's everybody in the room, absolutely.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And they're watching you and they're listening to what you're
- 22:18Speaker 1: saying or how you're going to respond to this person
- 22:20Speaker 1: or react to this person. And they come with a
- 22:23Speaker 1: what if negative and you come with a what if positive?
- 22:26Speaker 1: And then people are like, wait, what did she say exactly?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yeah? Did did I just hear what she said? What
- 22:36Speaker 2: did she ask?
- 22:37Speaker 1: Because not everybody's in the vibrational frequency to hear what
- 22:42Speaker 1: was said exactly, And it's going to throw them off
- 22:46Speaker 1: because they're because our default programming is focused on the drama.
- 22:50Speaker 1: So when somebody's there is being negative Nancy and throwing
- 22:54Speaker 1: these these curveballs and you're trying to dodge them and
- 22:59Speaker 1: be defense CIV when the response is take a breath,
- 23:03Speaker 1: pull back, let that feminine energy, intuitive side come in
- 23:10Speaker 1: and go back in with well, what if this and
- 23:15Speaker 1: counteract their question, I might do that. That sounds like
- 23:23Speaker 1: a really fun game to do in a group of
- 23:25Speaker 1: people who don't have a fucking clue with what's gone.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Because we don't. Because we don't, because why, Because because
- 23:32Speaker 2: our curiosity as children was kind of squashed in a
- 23:35Speaker 2: lot of ways. That curiosity would be it wasn't okay
- 23:37Speaker 2: for you to have that curious nature. It wasn't okay
- 23:40Speaker 2: for a lot of kids to ask questions over and
- 23:42Speaker 2: over again or ask why, or it wasn't it wasn't
- 23:45Speaker 2: okay for those kids to have those emotions. We've been
- 23:47Speaker 2: those kids, Yes, we have been those kids. So we're
- 23:50Speaker 2: here at this point so we understand all that stuff.
- 23:52Speaker 2: That's why we That's how we do have an understanding
- 23:55Speaker 2: because we have experienced it, and now looking back at it,
- 23:57Speaker 2: it's like, Okay, well, I'm glad I had all those
- 24:00Speaker 2: experiences because I'm not in the muck of it anymore.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Right right now, it's I have to lose. What do
- 24:07Speaker 2: you have to lose? That's the biggest thing, Absolutely nothing.
- 24:11Speaker 2: What is everybody gonna like, you b that's horrible.
- 24:15Speaker 1: It'd be like, I'm not sure what you said, but
- 24:19Speaker 1: it was really good.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what the meeting
- 24:23Speaker 2: was about, but I feel like I have never felt
- 24:25Speaker 2: so good in my whole life. When are we going
- 24:27Speaker 2: to do it again?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so glad I came to this meeting.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Was kind of cool. Yeah, exactly. And that's how it
- 24:34Speaker 2: can be. It's it's just like changing the old perspectives, right.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, now I'm really excited about the meeting.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I'm like, this is gonna be great. I'm like, that's awesome,
- 24:51Speaker 2: sounds like fun. Now maybe maybe I'm want to come
- 24:54Speaker 2: to the meeting and yeah maybe.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Oh man, that sounds like exciting now makes it. I
- 25:07Speaker 1: have two big meetings on Thursday, so that's this is
- 25:11Speaker 1: gonna be great.
- 25:12Speaker 2: They're gonna be great. And then it's like taking notice
- 25:14Speaker 2: of all the things that were great in each one
- 25:16Speaker 2: of those meetings afterwards, because why we don't want to
- 25:18Speaker 2: sit and think about all the horrible things because they
- 25:21Speaker 2: weren't horrible. They were just like things that were presented
- 25:23Speaker 2: it and how can we see it differently or how
- 25:25Speaker 2: can we do it differently or whatever?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Well's and our default programming is what if ah, everything fear.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Based Oh yeah, what if I don't get it right?
- 25:40Speaker 1: But what if that happens? What if they say that
- 25:43Speaker 1: and it's all negative, it's all fear, I say negative,
- 25:47Speaker 1: it's fear based. That's our typical go to programming and
- 25:52Speaker 1: how we look at something when the opposite of that.
- 25:57Speaker 1: And we've we've had these conversations for is what if
- 26:02Speaker 1: it's amazing? What if things go so well that it
- 26:09Speaker 1: just seems so easy. And this is the biggest event
- 26:13Speaker 1: we've had this year, Like what if everybody enjoys it
- 26:18Speaker 1: so much and the sales are up and people get
- 26:23Speaker 1: along and there's so much support and the volunteer Like,
- 26:27Speaker 1: what if all of that.
- 26:31Speaker 2: We're not programmed to do that?
- 26:33Speaker 1: That is something that takes practice over and over that
- 26:38Speaker 1: you just gonna have to make it a practice to
- 26:41Speaker 1: do the what if in a different avenue? I call
- 26:43Speaker 1: it a love avenue, that you do it from a
- 26:47Speaker 1: love space instead of a fear space. So that's what
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm doing with this meeting, and I've started those conversations.
- 26:55Speaker 2: So, yeah, you're you're creating the change just by being you,
- 26:59Speaker 2: And that's that's what we're here for. We're showing another
- 27:02Speaker 2: way you can you can show up a different way
- 27:04Speaker 2: than than having to freaking drag yourself in. It's like,
- 27:08Speaker 2: oh I gotta go to this bab Are you gonna
- 27:11Speaker 2: be able to go to eat dinner night now? Like
- 27:14Speaker 2: everything exactly. And then now we're gonna walk out there
- 27:19Speaker 2: being like, man, I just feel so good. Do you
- 27:22Speaker 2: want to go eat? Oh? No, I'm I just feel
- 27:24Speaker 2: so good. I don't even feel like eating right now,
- 27:26Speaker 2: Like I don't. I'm gonna go call somebody who knows,
- 27:31Speaker 2: who knows. It just shifts the gears and it's good.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And we thinked about we talked about when I started
- 27:37Speaker 1: this job. We talked about we talked I know, like
- 27:44Speaker 1: I said, I've said it before, everything happens for a reason.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'm in this job for a reason. Every day there's
- 27:51Speaker 1: something that comes up. I'm like, this is why I'm here,
- 27:53Speaker 1: This is why I'm here, This is why I'm here.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And then it's things like.
- 27:58Speaker 1: This, you said it, you said you get to be
- 28:02Speaker 1: a change, and so that's another reason why I'm here
- 28:07Speaker 1: because I'm bringing something. I'm bringing a different energy, different words,
- 28:12Speaker 1: different perspective to things where there's typically a lot of resistance.
- 28:17Speaker 1: We don't have to have that if we do it
- 28:19Speaker 1: from this perspective or this angle or this energy, which
- 28:24Speaker 1: is more ease, more relaxation, more peaceful, more loving, then
- 28:30Speaker 1: everything seems to go a lot smoother. And the more
- 28:33Speaker 1: it's demonstrated, which would be from not to toot my horn,
- 28:37Speaker 1: but to say that I am that main, main demonstrator
- 28:47Speaker 1: of that practice, then people start catching on. Then there's
- 28:52Speaker 1: a ripple effect, and if one person sees me do it,
- 28:58Speaker 1: now there's two of us, and then that just keeps
- 29:02Speaker 1: expanding out because more and more people start practicing it.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Then it's like the community, the energy of the community shifts.
- 29:12Speaker 1: There were some aspects and so if that's why I'm there,
- 29:19Speaker 1: fucking great, I'm there and I'm in it and I'm
- 29:22Speaker 1: doing it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It's like, what if what if I get to be
- 29:26Speaker 2: the way shower and the change maker? What if I
- 29:28Speaker 2: get to be the leader of that? What if I
- 29:30Speaker 2: get to I means there's so much wonderful that comes
- 29:33Speaker 2: from that, just from asking those kind of questions, because
- 29:36Speaker 2: it's like you're it's already happening.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It really is cool.
- 29:43Speaker 1: All right, Well, that was an amazing conversation.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I have to say, it was fantastic.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm excited to showed up tonight for this.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Me too, Me too showed up. Yeah I am, I'm
- 30:00Speaker 2: glad I showed up.
- 30:02Speaker 1: All right, Well, we're gonna leave it that unless you
- 30:04Speaker 1: have any final words, we wrap this up.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I think we wrap it up and have a magical week.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Wonderful and if we remember, I'll give you a synapsis
- 30:16Speaker 1: of what happened in the meetings.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Nice.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Anyway, thanks for hanging out. That's de time with Amy
- 30:24Speaker 1: and Bev. Have these courageous conversations. Talk to people, and
- 30:29Speaker 1: there are always people out there looking for content like this,
- 30:33Speaker 1: whether it's from us or other content creators, spiritual teachers,
- 30:37Speaker 1: influencers that they're looking for a change. You could be
- 30:44Speaker 1: that bridge between the information and them. So so share
- 30:48Speaker 1: the content, have the conversations, share the resources, share the videos,
- 30:54Speaker 1: the books, whatever it might be. So there's plenty of
- 30:57Speaker 1: ways that you can find us. It's YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, Speaker, iHeartRadio,
- 31:04Speaker 1: Google podcast, podcast, attic YouTube, so we're all over the place,
- 31:09Speaker 1: so you can find us on mani platforms. So with that,
- 31:13Speaker 1: we thank you, We thank you for your time because
- 31:15Speaker 1: you could be doing anything else. With your time, but
- 31:18Speaker 1: you're listening to us and so we are very grateful
- 31:20Speaker 1: for you for doing that. And this is tea time
- 31:24Speaker 1: with Amy and Bev. We'll see you next time.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Let's see you later.
