  Speaker 1: lose a quarterback in the middle of the week, which

  Speaker 1: you have the money to hedge out, I don't know,

  Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna be hard on that front.

  Speaker 1: You're just like, you already have eighteen bets in. That

  Speaker 1: might not sound like that much to some people out there,

  Speaker 1: but to the common folks, that's a lot to have

  Speaker 1: eighteen bets by what was that Tuesday morning or Wednesday morning?

  Speaker 1: So wednesdays those were you're fired up. You're definitely fired up.

  Speaker 1: Yet I also put three more bets in this morning,

  Speaker 1: So yeah, that's one of these things. Were like, I

  Speaker 1: might have a hundred bets already, but I'm always putting
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: myself in positions that hedge out. I don't expect most
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: people to be doing that many bets in the week.

  Speaker 1: So that's why, like we talked on Tuesday Show, there's

  Speaker 1: certain lines where, yeah, I think people should try to

  Speaker 1: get in early because the line could move, But for

  Speaker 1: the most part, it's it's just because of COVID. It's
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: better to be even sorry, where if you don't have

  Speaker 1: money to hedge out, I wouldn't be putting all your

  Speaker 1: money in so early in the week. Well, the truth is,

  Speaker 1: that's what I was looking for. I was looking for
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: the games where I thought lines were in play or
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: I felt like I was getting an advantage. I was
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: looking at the Action Network gap and I was seeing
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: the best available lines at books UM all around the country,
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: and I was seeing how money was moving, and I
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: was seeing, you know, some sides were getting so much
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: money and the line, the price on the on the
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: line wasn't moving, or the line was like moving half
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: a point in another direction at other books, and so
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: I kind of just some of some of these I
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: just wanted to get ahead of. UM. That's kind of
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: why I did it, Like this morning. This morning, I
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: did the Bears minus two and a half. I think
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: I did the Jets plus six and somebody else because
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: I felt like those lines were actually going to start
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: moving against me. Yeah, I think the Bears are now
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: down the minus one and a half. But UM, what
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: can you do. It's it's tough though, Like again, UM,
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: I guess it's not that long. I'm sorry, but I
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: I told you I had hired a runner for this
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: upcoming season, and basically this past week, it was my
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: first real weekend with him, was the first one where
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: he had a lot of money. Um. So again, I'm
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: I'm a nice I think I'm a pretty nice guy
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: chat out obviously you know me behind the curtains. I
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: can be pretty nice, but um, it's a little different when, uh,
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: this guy is kind of an employee of mind, and
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: he's a lot older than me, so he might be
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: forty six. Um, and it's tough where I'm in a
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: position where, um, I can't be too friendly because this
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: guy might not respect me or you might think you
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: could take advantage of me. So I'm an asshole to
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: this guy. I have been an asshole to him for
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: the moment he's met me to even right now. And
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: I probably called him, I want to say, four am
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: Sunday morning, and I asked him why he wasn't awake
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: and while he wasn't at the sports book, and that's
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: how that guy's day started. And I pretty much is
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: on him all day doing bets and stuff like that.
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: And then at four o'clock I told him he has
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: to drive now back to his apartment, he has to FaceTime,
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: he has to open up all the money I've given him,
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: and we're gonna go through the money counter. You have
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: to count up every single dollar bill that I've given him,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: just because I had to check them and make sure
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: all of the money lines up. So this guy is
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: basically being harrass for me for about I would say,
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: like thirteen hours straight, and then he checked out. The
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: money was good, he did good the first day, didn't
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: lose any of my money, he won money, collected the
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: money I give him off the rest of that night.

  Speaker 1: So again, I could be a little bit an asshole.

  Speaker 1: I also I'm a pretty nice guy, So that was
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: one of those where it's like, I'm just so glad
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: we're done Week one. Run to week two, it's a
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: little more calm, and I'm filming pretty good about our
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: picks going into this week. Chest. What does it look
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: like when you're watching on FaceTime? Uh, the money flipping
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: through the money counter? I don't know, like another Tuesday.
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: I don't know. It's it's like money counters are used,
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: especially for the type of cash we use every day.

  Speaker 1: I mean, you're using money counters all the time, and
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: I'm one of those people. I'm obsessed with double checking numbers.

  Speaker 1: So it's like I might have had him go through,
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: you know, six figures and I said, okay, let's do
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: it again. I like double checking things because time is money.
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: Like I don't mind sitting there and making sure all
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: my money is exactly what it should be in my books. Um,
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: but for him, it's nerve wracking because he's he's sweating
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: because I could see him sweat because he's like, if
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: this is a dollar short, he's fired, and like I'm
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: not messing around, Like that's that's a big deal. Is
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: you're trust me someone with a lot of money. So yeah,
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: that was It was definitely stressful having to worry about
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: him handling a lot of my money. But again it
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: worked out and people keep it me up. They're like, hey, man,
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: if you're ever looking for a runner, you don't want
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: to like again, you don't want to work for me. Um,
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: I'm tough and I'm not very like n It's like
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: Bob the guy, my other boss, he's maybe complimenting me
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: twice a year in my entire career. Like that's how
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: Like that's the average where I've kind of taken that
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: and done the same thing where it's like tough love,
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: but um, this guy's getting free education from me. So

  Speaker 1: it's one of these things where it's yeah, I might
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: be an asshole to him, but he's learning things that
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: people pay a lot of money learned for it for free.

  Speaker 1: I'm actually paying him to learn this stuff. So it's

  Speaker 1: it's just a different. Um, it's different than people think

  Speaker 1: it would be. Like people think it sounds cool and

  Speaker 1: be fun, it's not. I mean it's especially you're working

  Speaker 1: for someone like me like I am on these people,

  Speaker 1: especially if I miss a line because they're doing something

  Speaker 1: else now at the sports book. So again it's it

  Speaker 1: sounds cool, but it's it's a hard life. It's a

  Speaker 1: hard knock life for runners. I would not want to

  Speaker 1: work for you at all. Some days it hurts my

  Speaker 1: feelings just podcasting with you. But but I do want

  Speaker 1: to get to our picks. Because on Tuesday. On Tuesday,

  Speaker 1: we narrowed down a lot of games. Um, let me
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: refine the list for people. Uh, there were probably one
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: to three, four or five, six, seven, eight, okay, eight

  Speaker 1: games where we were feeling like those were the games
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: we'd want to choose our five from. Um, it was, uh,
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: the Jags and the Broncos. Um, it was the Bills
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: and Miami, it was the Niners and Eagles. It was
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: since the and the Bears. It was the Raiders and
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: the Steelers, Pats and the Jets, Falcons and Bucks, Cowboys
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: and Chargers depending on the line, and then the Titans
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: and Seahawks. So let's go back to the Jacks. Okay,
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: there have been nothing. I've seen, no reporting, no line
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: movement to make me feel like I don't want to
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: put the Jacks in the contest. Jacks plus six. The
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: line is way over inflated look aheadlines meeting the lines
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: that came out a few weeks ago or two and
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: a half. Maybe it's power rated, you know, three and
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: a half, whatever it is. I feel like the Jabs

  Speaker 1: are still the right side here. Yeah, it's definitely. It's

  Speaker 1: definitely feeling grosser as the weeks goes on. The week

  Speaker 1: with Urban Meyer, and it's scarier where it's like, god,

  Speaker 1: you know the players are hearing this stuff. Um, we

  Speaker 1: know that this guy is a compulsive liar. He lies

  Speaker 1: all the time, so it's scary. But like you said, Chad,

  Speaker 1: we have to trust the numbers and this is a

  Speaker 1: smart play, especially it's six six and a half, which

  Speaker 1: is what we had it at on Tuesday. We still

  Speaker 1: have it some books. Now it's down to five and

  Speaker 1: a half at certain books. I think Vandal still has

  Speaker 1: at six. So it's a it's a good number. It's

  Speaker 1: would we're gonna do, which was shipped the bed against

  Speaker 1: the Steelers. I don't know how I don't love Miami

  Speaker 1: in the spot still there's not nothing has changed for me. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: pro game. So that's why there's a high percentage chance

  Speaker 1: a home team, playing a team that just lost. I

  Speaker 1: mean again, Josh Allen's gonna play much better in this game.

  Speaker 1: We've just seen it where these teams that play so

  Speaker 1: put this pressure on themselves. They go, Okay, it's gonna

  Speaker 1: we did last year. Where it's different. Things are always

  Speaker 1: just different season season. That's what made that whole Brady

  Speaker 1: and Belichick things so legendary because it was twenty consistent

  Speaker 1: years of excellence. That's just not the way it is

  Speaker 1: in football. We've just seen it where every year there's

  Speaker 1: different challenges and different turnovers and different inks. So just

  Speaker 1: playing the number we talked, this was gonna be the

  Speaker 1: chalkiest favorite bet of the week, and I can't tell

  Speaker 1: I have a lot of friends, they bet like cowards.

  Speaker 1: Nothing wrong with that. I mean gamblings a scary thing,

  Speaker 1: People I know do seven point teasers. And multiple people

  Speaker 1: hit me up and said, hey, I can get the

  Speaker 1: bills right now plus three and a half in Miami

  Speaker 1: and a seven point teaser. Isn't that a lock? And

  Speaker 1: it's like those are the terrifying ones where it's like,

  Speaker 1: oh my god, the bill is don't get blown out
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: because every Joe Schmill was gonna have them in either.

  Speaker 1: So I didn't love the money line. I was kind

  Speaker 1: of hesitant to do it because I just thought this

  Speaker 1: was a good I had this number of three, so

  Speaker 1: I thought it was a good number three and a

  Speaker 1: half for you. Just take Miami the points. You don't

  Speaker 1: touch the money line. But now then when I think

  Speaker 1: about you, I think you're spot on where this is

  Speaker 1: one of these things. I'm probably gonna take this money

  Speaker 1: line just because the public is coming in so heavy

  Speaker 1: on the bills. It's literally I think the last I

  Speaker 1: saw is not even some of the tickets, and now

  Speaker 1: even some of the money. We're on the Bills at

  Speaker 1: one point, and they're on the road. They're on the road,

  Speaker 1: so Chad knows what I love to do here. Anytime

  Speaker 1: it's under ten percent for a home team that's a dog,

  Speaker 1: I go all in it all. So this is one

  Speaker 1: of my favorite bets of the week. Miami, Chad spot

  Speaker 1: on moment. Sometimes you're just seeing the board clearly. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: it's so obvious and maybe we're gonna be wrong. You

  Speaker 1: don't know. But oftentimes early in the year, off of

  Speaker 1: that first game is when you feel like, and this
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: is where some of it you have to be kind
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: of like, have to have some self confidence. You gotta

  Speaker 1: feel like you saw something in that game that is

  Speaker 1: separate and distinct from the final score that allows you
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: to have an insight into the team and carry that
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: over to the next week. I do think the Bills
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: will play better, but again, I just think divisional game
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: plus three and a half. It's the same reason we're

  Speaker 1: taking the Giants tonight. It's a divisional game plus three
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: and a half, two teams that are pretty evenly matched.

  Speaker 1: You take the three and a half. So we we

  Speaker 1: just love that number with Miami. Uh, the other game

  Speaker 1: on our on our final list here that we're narrowing

  Speaker 1: down forty niners. Visiting the Eagles last week, this was

  Speaker 1: a Simon says game. Simon says, you bet the Eagles.

  Speaker 1: What's still have been changed? Still feeling pretty good about

  Speaker 1: the bet. It's sad where it's already down to three now.

  Speaker 1: I was hoping we keep going up. But the public

  Speaker 1: has come in now finally all the Eagles. I think

  Speaker 1: more people are starting to believe and starting to see
