- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera judge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
- 0:15Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Mellencamp and cambrid Judge. Good morning, Ted, Good morning.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I see you're in bed.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I'm in bed. I have some restless leg syndrome stuff.
- 0:28Speaker 2: And when I was sitting at my podcast desk or
- 0:32Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it, it was like my
- 0:35Speaker 2: leg was pounding and making a noise and I was like,
- 0:37Speaker 2: that's gonna drive everywhere. That's like I even cough or
- 0:40Speaker 2: sneeze or irb and people are on me.
- 0:43Speaker 3: So the last thing I need is my leg going.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Tap tap tap tap tap.
- 0:47Speaker 3: That's all right, But yeah, no, I haven't been feeling great.
- 0:50Speaker 3: How about you.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm okay. I'm just so exhausted, you know,
- 0:55Speaker 1: from going to New York and just it's just, you
- 0:59Speaker 1: know what I mean, It's like a whirlwind of stuff.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So we're in Big Bear right now, just relaxing and
- 1:05Speaker 1: a little tired.
- 1:06Speaker 3: But that's it. That's it.
- 1:08Speaker 2: But you know, we are going to recap episode six
- 1:14Speaker 2: of season seven Housewives in Miami right now.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Miami is given man there's so good, so much.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It really is.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, it starts out where the ladies all arrive at
- 1:26Speaker 2: the village Tskana for their narcissist Greek party.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Okay, I need to know where this place is. It
- 1:30Speaker 1: was so beautiful I want to go there. So is
- 1:34Speaker 1: it in Miami?
- 1:36Speaker 3: I don't know, Like is it.
- 1:38Speaker 1: A wedding venue?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:40Speaker 3: What is it? It was really beautiful.
- 1:42Speaker 2: But I have to say I was expecting this narcissist
- 1:45Speaker 2: Greek party to go a different way.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I mean, I knew it was going to be coming
- 1:48Speaker 3: at least way.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Did you think it was going to go No, I
- 1:51Speaker 1: just thought the guy was going to be teaching more lessons.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And did did Alexia find him on social media?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yes, Alexei had found him on social media. But I
- 2:02Speaker 2: thought he was going to come on and maybe do
- 2:04Speaker 2: like quizzing or well.
- 2:07Speaker 3: I don't think it's supposed to be a game.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I think it was supposed to be like a building,
- 2:12Speaker 1: like you know what I mean, Like it was supposed
- 2:15Speaker 1: to be some interacting building friendships and all this stuff,
- 2:19Speaker 1: not like let's see who the biggest narcissist is.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Oh, like team building.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Team building, That's what I thought it was going to
- 2:26Speaker 1: be like, and it turned into people were calling it
- 2:28Speaker 1: a game. I'm like, this is not no game. I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to play, and then it was it really because
- 2:33Speaker 1: I would have got the most flags.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you probably would have.
- 2:38Speaker 1: If you bought the most flags, would you cry?
- 2:40Speaker 2: I think the Teddy of six years ago probably would
- 2:43Speaker 2: have cried right now. No, I'd be like you in
- 2:46Speaker 2: the flags and I'm keeping all of them, so you
- 2:48Speaker 2: can't play in the red flag.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You wrote in on when we got Stephanie to apologize
- 2:55Speaker 1: to Lisa for the way she talked to her on
- 2:57Speaker 1: the bus. I only saw clips because obviously I was
- 3:00Speaker 1: in New York last week. But was it really bad?
- 3:03Speaker 1: I have to go back and watch that episode. Did
- 3:04Speaker 1: she really go in on Lisa? Because I'm sorry, I'd
- 3:07Speaker 1: be pissed off.
- 3:07Speaker 3: To you if I waited two hours.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Here's the part that they're not talking about. That they
- 3:12Speaker 2: that somebody shared online that I read, and it was
- 3:16Speaker 2: that they that Lisa had told them she was running
- 3:20Speaker 2: late and to leave without her and that she would
- 3:22Speaker 2: get there on her own, and.
- 3:23Speaker 3: They I don't know if that's they is production or
- 3:26Speaker 3: they is.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Well.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Lisa tweeted that yeah, but I have a feeling that's true,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that doesn't Why lie about that? I know, I know
- 3:37Speaker 1: I did she say why she's going to be late
- 3:39Speaker 1: because glam Well, that's not an excuse, like you know
- 3:43Speaker 1: you have to film, you know you have a time,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and you know you have to show up. That's part
- 3:48Speaker 1: of being a big girl, Lisa, right.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But either way, you know, they chose to wait the
- 3:53Speaker 2: two hours after she said leave.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But she know why they did that, because they waited
- 3:58Speaker 1: the two hours when they for her on the jet
- 4:01Speaker 1: that one time, and then.
- 4:03Speaker 3: They waited for it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Want to show a pattern, Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And then they Larsa was waiting for her when they
- 4:09Speaker 2: start to have their conversation again. I mean, I don't
- 4:12Speaker 2: even think there's that much to recap when it comes
- 4:14Speaker 2: to the Villa Tuskana, because I thought the entire thing
- 4:18Speaker 2: was kind of a turn off for me.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Kind of Yeah, I mean I felt bad for Lisa.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I really did, just in the sense that everybody was
- 4:27Speaker 1: picking her and it was like, I don't know, it's
- 4:30Speaker 1: kind of like just feeling an odd man out.
- 4:33Speaker 3: It felt like enough was enough.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I did, like when Alexia is like I'm voting for myself.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but like her dad had just passed away too.
- 4:41Speaker 2: At this point, her dad had just passed away, and
- 4:43Speaker 2: they're just going at it with these flags. You can
- 4:46Speaker 2: tell she's starting to come on glued. And it just
- 4:49Speaker 2: felt like an overdue for me, not even by just
- 4:52Speaker 2: one person, by all of the people I know.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And then there's Stephanie. The only thing going through in
- 4:56Speaker 1: my head right now is how to make more money.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm telling you, I'm going to be right on
- 5:03Speaker 2: this one.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You are. I like Stephanie.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I like her too, but I think we're missing a
- 5:09Speaker 2: big old secret.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Is coming on a little thick.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So I don't know. We'll see.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Like you said, time will tell you. You predict that
- 5:18Speaker 1: she's gonna get on your nerves.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, do.
- 5:22Speaker 2: You remember doctor Nicole's initial mirror message to Larsa.
- 5:28Speaker 3: On the wall. What was it?
- 5:29Speaker 1: I forgot, I don't know.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I feel like Larsa walks so this narcissist Tiktoker's mirrors
- 5:35Speaker 2: could run like I think it was like mirror. I
- 5:40Speaker 2: forget exactly what it was. But I wonder if this
- 5:43Speaker 2: would have even happened if she didn't do that.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Oh mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fakest of them.
- 5:48Speaker 1: All, That's what it was.
- 5:53Speaker 3: But then they all start to like check on her.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Lisa goes into the bathroom and cries Adrian to sees
- 6:00Speaker 2: how she is. She says, she hates these people. They
- 6:04Speaker 2: they don't even have fun hanging out together. Then Gertie
- 6:07Speaker 2: grabs Larsa and has her and Lisa do a talk.
- 6:10Speaker 3: This I found annoying too.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I mean, okay, Gerty, she thinks she's Andy Cohen. She
- 6:17Speaker 1: sits there on that chair and tries to moderate the
- 6:21Speaker 1: conversation and both of them are like, just go away,
- 6:25Speaker 1: he stop, go, just go, and she was insisting it
- 6:29Speaker 1: was it was too much.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And then self like giving herself taps afterwards like yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 2: nailed that, nailed that conversation.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yep, you got you guys out Like this is I
- 6:39Speaker 3: don't know. It all felt very, very weird to me.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Then we get to Julia meeting with a social worker
- 6:46Speaker 2: to discuss how it's going with the two boys. Stephanie
- 6:49Speaker 2: and her husband go to dinner with her family. I
- 6:51Speaker 2: really liked her family.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I did too.
- 6:54Speaker 1: We got to see the pictures of the boys. I'm
- 6:56Speaker 1: assuming at the beginning of the show they weren't fully adopted,
- 7:01Speaker 1: so they couldn't show the pictures of them or show them,
- 7:05Speaker 1: show the kids. And then as the season progressed, they
- 7:08Speaker 1: finally got to, you know, sign off and see pictures.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm wondering if later on we'll be able to see
- 7:12Speaker 1: the boys. But they look adorable.
- 7:14Speaker 3: They look so adorable.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Stephanie shares that her dad was shocked when he first
- 7:19Speaker 2: met her husband because her dad is too I think
- 7:22Speaker 2: it was one year younger. Yeah, one year younger than him.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And she says she wants to mend her relationships with
- 7:28Speaker 2: her sisters.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I'm not quite clear about the sister situation. So they
- 7:33Speaker 1: they came to work for Stephanie, is that what it was?
- 7:36Speaker 1: And then it was the falling.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Out they came to work for her.
- 7:39Speaker 2: She gave one Arrange Rover or Land Rover, I forget
- 7:42Speaker 2: what she said, and one a mini Cooper.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Could you imagine being young Cooper? One?
- 7:48Speaker 1: No, wh Why did somebody get the short end of
- 7:50Speaker 1: the stick?
- 7:51Speaker 3: I don't literally the shortest?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Is that?
- 7:53Speaker 1: What is that the one that got pissed off?
- 7:55Speaker 2: They both got pissed off because I guess something along
- 7:59Speaker 2: the line lines of like their relationship change once they
- 8:02Speaker 2: were working for her, which no shock there.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's not easy to work with family, that's for sure.
- 8:09Speaker 2: No, But I feel like Stephanie, I'm not right about
- 8:13Speaker 2: all the things. But I think that maybe not talking
- 8:18Speaker 2: about your sisters repeatedly on camera.
- 8:20Speaker 1: That's not going to help. I'm telling you right now,
- 8:22Speaker 1: all this talking and ain't going to help their relationship.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And I'm going to tell you right now, if we
- 8:26Speaker 1: don't get to see these sisters and all we do
- 8:28Speaker 1: is hear about them, I'm going to be so annoyed
- 8:30Speaker 1: because this has happened on so many different the sisters. Right,
- 8:34Speaker 1: don't you hate that when you hear about these sisters
- 8:37Speaker 1: and you hear about them and then we never see them.
- 8:39Speaker 3: We never see them.
- 8:40Speaker 2: But I feel like these sisters are going to come
- 8:42Speaker 2: into play.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Can you remind me of something?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Why does Stephanie and why did Stephanie and Nicole have
- 8:51Speaker 2: an issue?
- 8:52Speaker 1: I don't know that they had an issue. I just
- 8:54Speaker 1: think that Stephanie was somebody else. No, Stephanie used to
- 8:57Speaker 1: date Nicole's husband or I don't even think you're mad
- 9:01Speaker 1: her baby daddy.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Okay, so that it was like years ago. I mean
- 9:06Speaker 3: it's over what like fifteen years ago something like that.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Seems like that's enough time.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But don't you think like Stephanie's husband, Yes, he's older,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but he's like a very good looking guy. He looks young.
- 9:18Speaker 2: He seems charismatic. I know, I mean, I don't know
- 9:22Speaker 2: that I'd kick him off.
- 9:24Speaker 1: No, And she is kind of an old soul.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah she's I mean, she's seemed. They seem like a
- 9:31Speaker 3: good couple.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they have a good banter back and forth. Like,
- 9:34Speaker 2: don't get me wrong, I like her. I just don't
- 9:36Speaker 2: like all the money talk.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I know some people. Yeah, I know. I started
- 9:40Speaker 1: to think, like, okay, pull it back. We don't need
- 9:42Speaker 1: to hear about.
- 9:43Speaker 2: That, and like, you know, I'm sorry, but I don't.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I really if I have never have to hear about
- 9:49Speaker 2: another Burke. And again it's too late.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I know. Am I the only person in the world
- 9:54Speaker 1: that doesn't want one?
- 9:55Speaker 2: I used to have one, but I don't anymore. And
- 9:57Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about him, and I don't
- 9:59Speaker 2: I know that I can't get wet and I'm sick
- 10:01Speaker 2: of hearing about it on every franchise. Then Gerty and
- 10:17Speaker 2: Russell go to therapy. She gets emotional about the relationship
- 10:21Speaker 2: through her cancer. Gerty doesn't want Russell to feel like
- 10:25Speaker 2: her caretaker anymore. This, I could imagine would be hard.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It would is she all done with treatment?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Now she's done with treatment, she is cancer free, okay, but.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Now she's just dealing with the aftermath of having to
- 10:42Speaker 1: go through it, having her family go through it and
- 10:44Speaker 1: all that.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And she yeah, and then she's had a couple of
- 10:46Speaker 2: surgeries because she wasn't feeling like herself, which I can
- 10:49Speaker 2: completely understand, like when I stand up and look at
- 10:52Speaker 2: myself and I'm like, oh my, who am I anymore?
- 10:56Speaker 1: But I thought it was like he said, he goes,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I would really like for her to go to therapy
- 10:59Speaker 1: by herself. I don't. To me, it seems like he's
- 11:04Speaker 1: not concerned about it. He's not concerned about the surgery
- 11:08Speaker 1: she's had, or how she looks, or her own insecurity
- 11:11Speaker 1: or having to take care of her. It really does
- 11:15Speaker 1: feel like it's mostly internal with her.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think then she pointed out her reasoning why.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I mean, she said that because when she was younger,
- 11:25Speaker 2: she had there were seven kids, and only her and
- 11:29Speaker 2: her brother were brought to America alone, and so she
- 11:32Speaker 2: has all of this feeling of being excluded. Gotcha, that's right,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and so she has, you know, And then that kind
- 11:41Speaker 2: of plays out and we think about what happened with
- 11:43Speaker 2: Julia and how she didn't get asked to set at
- 11:45Speaker 2: that table, which, by the way, why did we get
- 11:47Speaker 2: songs yesterday from Captain whatever? Oh?
- 11:52Speaker 1: I was going to ask you the same thing, Leah, Leah, Oh, yeah, yesterday?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Did you get some messages from Captain Sandy's why? Leah?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:01Speaker 1: I know. I didn't get a message. I just she
- 12:02Speaker 1: sent me her song me too.
- 12:04Speaker 3: She tagged us, But why only us?
- 12:06Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe she wanted us to repost.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Maybe I'm not sure. I was confused.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I was like, I need more information to know what's happening,
- 12:14Speaker 2: and then it was beautiful song.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I just I was confused.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Then, so we get kind of through the Russell and
- 12:22Speaker 2: Gerdi stuff and I start to understand a little bit
- 12:25Speaker 2: more what's going on with Gerdy and why she has
- 12:27Speaker 2: such big reactions.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Then Lisa and Larsa meet for lunch.
- 12:32Speaker 2: They talk about how they've been having real issues since
- 12:35Speaker 2: the summer. If you guys tune in tomorrow, we're going
- 12:38Speaker 2: to be having a little recap with Larsa, so we're
- 12:42Speaker 2: going to get her side of things. But Larsa tells
- 12:45Speaker 2: Lisa she was hurt after Milan, and then Larsa's said
- 12:48Speaker 2: that in Milan, Jody and Lisa said Larsa was behind
- 12:52Speaker 2: the paparazzi getting the photos of.
- 12:54Speaker 1: How many times do you think they are going to
- 12:57Speaker 1: flash up this picture of Marcus doing whatever it is he's.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Doing, well, appears to be a white powder.
- 13:05Speaker 1: There is to be a white powder. I don't want
- 13:07Speaker 1: to get involved in it, but how many times is
- 13:09Speaker 1: production gonna I'm like, come on, guys, now, once twice?
- 13:13Speaker 2: So if it's and if it's in paparazzi, then you
- 13:16Speaker 2: can put it on a show as many times as
- 13:18Speaker 2: you want.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Is that the rule?
- 13:19Speaker 1: I guess I guess so. But I'm like, we talked
- 13:23Speaker 1: to Larsa about it, How would she know where he
- 13:26Speaker 1: was at?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yah, It's not like they were dating then. It's not
- 13:29Speaker 2: like they were walking out somewhere together. Like I get
- 13:32Speaker 2: back in the day when they used to accuse Larsa
- 13:35Speaker 2: of walking out when they were looking at rings or something. Yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and Larsa was in the pictures, but this, how would
- 13:41Speaker 2: she have known what he was doing like a.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Totally different weren't they even on a yacht that they
- 13:47Speaker 1: are on the beach. I think it's far fetched. And
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think that if a paparazzi told Lisa that that
- 13:54Speaker 1: they're full of shit, because paparazzi, I would imagine, don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: give up their source.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I've never had that either. But then Lisa goes to
- 14:04Speaker 2: the bathroom and calls Alexia and starts crying on the phone.
- 14:06Speaker 2: She gets asked to leave the restaurant because she's being
- 14:09Speaker 2: allowed to go outside.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Now comparisons with Larsa again. But Lisa and Larsu's sitting
- 14:15Speaker 3: there calling each other narcissists. It's like, didn't she call
- 14:19Speaker 3: her a larcissist? I wonder who gave her that line?
- 14:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:26Speaker 2: And then Larsa apologizes for the wrong she has done
- 14:29Speaker 2: and not being the friend she should be when Lisa's
- 14:31Speaker 2: father passed. But even after all of this, Larsus still
- 14:34Speaker 2: apologizes for the wrong she has done and not being
- 14:36Speaker 2: the friend she should be when Lisa's father passed. Now,
- 14:40Speaker 2: what I want to talk to Larsa about tomorrow? How
- 14:42Speaker 2: close that her and Lisa actually were prior to this
- 14:47Speaker 2: falling out because I don't really know that answer because
- 14:50Speaker 2: I didn't watch the original I think.
- 14:52Speaker 1: That they've been good friends. I don't think that you
- 14:54Speaker 1: have I don't know. I feel like when you have
- 14:58Speaker 1: a close friendship and and then you do have a
- 15:00Speaker 1: falling out, it's so much bigger, Like if you don't care,
- 15:02Speaker 1: you're like I don't care about you, Like I who cares?
- 15:06Speaker 2: I mean, in the original run, they weren't even on
- 15:08Speaker 2: the same show. They both weren't on the show. Larso
- 15:11Speaker 2: was on season one, and then Lisa was on season
- 15:13Speaker 2: two and say three.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so I wondered if they maintained a friendship off
- 15:18Speaker 1: because wasn't the show off like five or six years?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it was off for a long time.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I think it was off for like twelve
- 15:24Speaker 2: years or eight It was.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Off for years.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Holy moly.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, now it came back and it's so good. It
- 15:31Speaker 3: is so good. It's so good.
- 15:33Speaker 2: But you guys, make sure to tune in tomorrow to
- 15:35Speaker 2: hear Larsa's interview. One other little snippet that I just
- 15:39Speaker 2: read while we were on this podcast, But don't worry,
- 15:41Speaker 2: I was fully focusing. But it's that this has nothing
- 15:46Speaker 2: related to Housewives. What it does have to do with
- 15:48Speaker 2: the valley that Jacksons said he's not returning, so he's fired.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Uh it says he's going to focus on his mental health.
- 15:56Speaker 3: So it was fired, Okay allegedly, but Tam, hope you
- 16:02Speaker 3: have a good rest of the day and then we'll
- 16:04Speaker 3: talk to you guys tomorrow. M
