- 0:00Speaker 1: China is looking on chain, and it may be doing
- 0:02Speaker 1: it in a way that you may not expect. I
- 0:04Speaker 1: want to thank our sponsor today, and that is Tangent,
- 0:06Speaker 1: where you guys can get into full self custody. Very
- 0:09Speaker 1: easy to do, your secure crypto hardware wallet. And one
- 0:13Speaker 1: of the things about Tangent that I think a lot
- 0:15Speaker 1: of people misunderstand with self custody is the ease of
- 0:19Speaker 1: use and also the ease of being able to get
- 0:21Speaker 1: this set up for you. It's like a credit card,
- 0:23Speaker 1: works with your phone, always present. Make sure to get
- 0:27Speaker 1: a three-card set so you've got a backup. But you guys,
- 0:29Speaker 1: of course, can use our link down below. It's going
- 0:31Speaker 1: to give you a 10% discount. And they also have
- 0:34Speaker 1: several offers from time to time. So always check what's
- 0:37Speaker 1: going on over there on the website. This is the
- 0:41Speaker 1: self-custody to use.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So make sure and check it out. Tell them we
- 0:43Speaker 2: sent you.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I want to start with this, guys. And that is
- 0:47Speaker 1: a senior. Because I don't want to say that we're
- 0:49Speaker 1: not paying attention to what's going on out there. Because
- 0:51Speaker 1: Iran is still putting pressure. On the U.S., this is
- 0:54Speaker 1: where a senior Iranian official is telling Reuters that they're
- 0:58Speaker 1: not going to give up its enrichment in terms of uranium.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So this is one of the things that, of course,
- 1:02Speaker 1: is affecting the markets right now. And this is really
- 1:06Speaker 1: leading into something that, of course, is hitting the market today.
- 1:09Speaker 1: There's other macro effects, but this, of course, is one
- 1:12Speaker 1: of them. As Bitcoin went to 83K, erasing its recent
- 1:16Speaker 1: October gains. The other thing, and another 642 million in
- 1:20Speaker 1: long positions also liquidated here.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So paying attention here.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys think this is the
- 1:26Speaker 1: bottom here in terms of the local side for Bitcoin
- 1:29Speaker 1: and Ethereum.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Let me know in the comments.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Are you expecting a sub 80K Bitcoin? Just drop it
- 1:34Speaker 1: down in the comments. I want to get into that.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Other things I want to jump on is what's happening
- 1:39Speaker 1: right here. You've got Bitmine and their chair, Tom Lee,
- 1:43Speaker 1: saying he's never seen a major institutions declare a bull market.
- 1:48Speaker 2: In previous cycles.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Well, That all is about to change, because right now
- 1:52Speaker 1: he says this is the biggest bull market we've ever seen,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and it's coming at us fast. This, of course, was
- 1:58Speaker 1: announced over at Token 2049 in Singapore. I want to
- 2:02Speaker 1: go to a clip here, and the clip will talk
- 2:04Speaker 1: about these yields, because everybody's worried about how fast these
- 2:07Speaker 1: yields are growing on the 10-year, on the 20, on
- 2:10Speaker 1: the 30, and he addresses it in this clip as
- 2:13Speaker 1: to how it may affect the markets.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I think there's a clue. The fact that the NASDAQ
- 2:19Speaker 3: is hitting all-time highs and crypto is rallying, I think
- 2:22Speaker 3: it's telling me that the rise in yields might be transitory.
- 2:26Speaker 3: I mean, 5% is no problem for the stock market
- 2:29Speaker 3: because real growth is very strong. We're going through peak inflation.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I mean, that's kind of the Fed view. And a
- 2:36Speaker 3: lot of economists are highlighting the transitory impacts right now
- 2:39Speaker 3: hitting CPI. Again, that's probably why the Nasdaq and crypto
- 2:43Speaker 3: are rallying because they don't see the sustained rates.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Did September payrolls tell us that something is cracking?
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, the September payrolls kind of confirmed the bigger trend.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I mean, jobs growth used to be $ 200, 000 a month.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It's averaged like $ 60, 000 a month in 2026. I mean,
- 2:57Speaker 3: I'd hardly say that's a booming economy. So does the
- 3:00Speaker 3: Fed need to really be stomping on the economy by
- 3:03Speaker 3: doing three.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Hikes this year?
- 3:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So to the point that Lee is getting at is
- 3:09Speaker 1: that this could be a super cycle that is brewing.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And there's one thing that could possibly start all of this.
- 3:17Speaker 2: And that is what's happening in China.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip here because China
- 3:20Speaker 1: is starting to take notes and they may start applying them.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 3:25Speaker 4: In fact, you told the journal that China will inevitably
- 3:28Speaker 4: find a way to manage and reopen crypto activity.
- 3:33Speaker 5: I could only say this. The Chinese government is watching
- 3:40Speaker 5: the technology is developed very, very closely. but they know
- 3:44Speaker 5: that's not technology they can ignore. They are using Hong
- 3:47Speaker 5: Kong as the region to test.
- 3:52Speaker 4: And if China does reopen the gates, what's the size
- 3:54Speaker 4: of the opportunity of the addressable market there for HSDC?
- 3:57Speaker 5: It's huge. The Asian population being bigger than the rest
- 4:00Speaker 5: of the population as users of crypto and traders of cryptos.
- 4:03Speaker 5: And then, you know, China climbing down on crypto, that's
- 4:06Speaker 5: a slowdown, right? I think the U.S. market picked up, but...
- 4:11Speaker 5: When the Chinese government find a way to manage this
- 4:14Speaker 5: and allow access to trading crypto and allow the technology
- 4:18Speaker 5: to be used by various companies, a Chinese company or
- 4:21Speaker 5: cross-border trade, I think the crypto is going to go
- 4:25Speaker 5: through another super cycle.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So what you listened to there is, I think, some
- 4:29Speaker 1: key words. One is that China is watching this technology very,
- 4:33Speaker 1: very closely. And when you consider China and the size
- 4:37Speaker 1: of what it is today, Term-wise, when you look at
- 4:40Speaker 1: the population, according to WorldShare, it's like 17%.
- 4:44Speaker 2: The U.S. is like 4%, okay?
- 4:47Speaker 1: So consider the 2023 GDP, which was around 19 trill,
- 4:53Speaker 1: versus 26 in the U.S. So the key here is
- 4:56Speaker 1: that China is in the midst of maybe causing a
- 5:00Speaker 1: major shakeup here. Think about this for a second. China banned,
- 5:04Speaker 1: in 2021, the last time we saw a real bull
- 5:05Speaker 1: run where institutions were involved, Bitcoin was being banned in China,
- 5:09Speaker 1: probably one of the major efforts that kept Bitcoin from.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Hitting the 100K mark.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And now what we've got is China possibly actually joining
- 5:18Speaker 1: the crowd. And when you consider this right here, China
- 5:21Speaker 1: has more money in the system than ever. Its M2
- 5:24Speaker 1: money supply hit a record 356 trill at the end
- 5:27Speaker 1: of August. This was all from the People's Bank of China.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And of course, that's around $ 53. 1 trillion more than what
- 5:37Speaker 1: the U.S. has, which is around $ 23 trillion.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So basically, it's double.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And you consider the growth of this, and then you
- 5:45Speaker 1: look at just the factors that are playing out worldwide,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and you've got a lot happening because China, from its
- 5:52Speaker 1: own citizens, are actually utilizing stablecoins which is now emerging
- 5:57Speaker 1: as a parallel payment network. So this is a train
- 6:00Speaker 1: that I don't think anybody's going to stop in terms
- 6:02Speaker 1: of how China may be entering into the market. The
- 6:04Speaker 1: question will be, how do they come in? And what
- 6:07Speaker 1: kind of transactions will we see? All right, so let's
- 6:10Speaker 1: take a look at how to tie this into a blockchain.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And one that we've been watching around this that could
- 6:16Speaker 1: be a winner here is going to be Solana. If
- 6:19Speaker 1: you look at Solana, the foundation there, just to show
- 6:21Speaker 1: an example of how institutional tokenized assets now also partnering
- 6:27Speaker 1: up with Solana. You've got the Solana Foundation and JP
- 6:29Speaker 1: Morgan going right at it. JP Morgan providing input now
- 6:32Speaker 1: on institutional settlement practices.
- 6:34Speaker 2: So that's moving. All right, so you guys.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Remember we had a video here last week. We had
- 6:39Speaker 1: two videos in reference to Canada. One was, of course,
- 6:41Speaker 1: showing Carney's strategy around the use of crypto and blockchain.
- 6:45Speaker 1: The other was looking at some of the specific products.
- 6:49Speaker 1: And one of the things that popped up in that
- 6:51Speaker 1: video notion was the idea that maybe tokenization could happen
- 6:55Speaker 1: with products around the world. And one of the key
- 6:59Speaker 1: products in Canada that is globally known is maple syrup.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It's almost as if they were watching our show, because
- 7:07Speaker 1: take a look at this clip.
- 7:08Speaker 6: We have demand for the product, but it's challenging logistically
- 7:13Speaker 6: about the only place we can sell it is at
- 7:15Speaker 6: a local farmer's market.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And you get some demand for it.
- 7:21Speaker 7: What we're doing makes every bottle digitally identifiable, connecting the
- 7:26Speaker 7: buyer to the producer, which gives buyers access to syrup
- 7:33Speaker 7: with proof of origins. By tokenizing the asset, putting it
- 7:38Speaker 7: onto the Solana blockchain, and also tying it up to
- 7:40Speaker 7: the IoT device, we're able to basically have it exist
- 7:44Speaker 7: outside of the vault that.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's currently in, right?
- 7:46Speaker 3: So not only can we do more like marketing.
- 7:49Speaker 1: When you looked at, obviously, the deal there with the
- 7:52Speaker 1: Mabel Serp project, what's happening, though, is there are other projects,
- 7:56Speaker 1: meaning liquor is coming online. We're seeing all sorts of
- 8:00Speaker 1: potential opportunities here as RWAs, real-world assets coming on-chain. that
- 8:04Speaker 1: are tied to some of these countries. Imagine if you
- 8:06Speaker 1: could do something in South America, in Mexico, Chile, Argentina,
- 8:10Speaker 1: move over to the Asia, Asian markets. All of these
- 8:13Speaker 1: countries are looking at it in the same way. So
- 8:16Speaker 1: consider that Solana essentially is now becoming RWA chain. You
- 8:21Speaker 1: look at this right here. This is just swap revenue
- 8:23Speaker 1: by pair category. Solana starting to move here in reference
- 8:28Speaker 1: to tokenized assets. And that's something to keep a very
- 8:30Speaker 1: close eye on as it continues to move. And let's
- 8:34Speaker 1: not forget that there are some meme components that play
- 8:38Speaker 1: into Solana, probably more so than any other chain out there.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And I think that will become a factor going forward
- 8:45Speaker 1: to what we're seeing right now. And so much so,
- 8:48Speaker 1: Matt Hogan was talking about this, and he explained this
- 8:51Speaker 1: and why Solana might end up winning.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 8:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 2: What does Wall Street think of meme stocks?
- 8:57Speaker 6: That's a great question. I would say that they don't
- 9:00Speaker 6: even know that it's happening. My own view is that
- 9:03Speaker 6: there's something actually interesting here. But the idea of being
- 9:06Speaker 6: able to pair something that has social and societal clout
- 9:12Speaker 6: with a position in underlying stock, I think there will
- 9:15Speaker 6: be three or four versions of this that are actually
- 9:18Speaker 6: super interesting. I have a feeling that this is an
- 9:21Speaker 6: important new idea. It has resonance with the community, and
- 9:26Speaker 6: we haven't seen its final form yet.
- 9:27Speaker 8: RAOUL PAL, fairly random list of soul, hype, ZEC, NIO
- 9:31Speaker 8: we spoke about today, ETH and BTC, obviously they have
- 9:34Speaker 8: to be in there. Which of these assets are most
- 9:36Speaker 8: likely to be among the fastest horses?
- 9:38Speaker 6: Not just saying it because I'm here, but as everyone knows,
- 9:41Speaker 6: super bullish on where Solana is going.
- 9:43Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:44Speaker 1: So he's kind of picking the soul chain and I
- 9:47Speaker 1: get it. But remember, what he's talking about there is
- 9:50Speaker 1: the meme component. And the reason this is tied or
- 9:52Speaker 1: can be tied to RWAs is this. Imagine when you
- 9:56Speaker 1: start to see countries saying, all right, maybe we need
- 9:58Speaker 1: to go on chain. Let's start to tokenize some of
- 10:01Speaker 1: our commodities. Let's get into RWAs around different products, companies,
- 10:05Speaker 1: whole environments or industries. Imagine the memes that circle in
- 10:10Speaker 1: around those initiatives. That's the kind of community that Solana brings.
- 10:16Speaker 1: And you apply that to RWA and boom, you've got
- 10:19Speaker 1: magic happening for the future. The kind of magic that
- 10:23Speaker 1: Lily Liu was talking about of why Solana might win this.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 10:27Speaker 9: The internet capital market, we believe, is going to be
- 10:30Speaker 9: the largest capital market, the largest global capital market going forward.
- 10:33Speaker 9: Why is it only Solana that can actually deliver on this? Well,
- 10:36Speaker 9: if you look at a place like Southeast Asia, you
- 10:38Speaker 9: already see a ton of fragmentation. You've got a multitude
- 10:42Speaker 9: of different countries, all on separate currencies, even all within
- 10:46Speaker 9: the same time zone across 2.9 billion users. And that's
- 10:49Speaker 9: why over the last couple of years, on every single timeframe,
- 10:53Speaker 9: Solana has been the most used blockchain, more than the
- 10:55Speaker 9: entire rest of the industry combined.
- 10:57Speaker 1: All right, so more than the entire industry, rest of
- 11:02Speaker 1: industry combined. And it's not just what's happening around the world.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It's also the US saying, well, maybe we need to
- 11:10Speaker 1: look at Solana a little tighter.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Here's BlackRock.
- 11:12Speaker 1: When you look at distributed asset value right now in RWA, well,
- 11:16Speaker 1: guess who's leading?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yep, that's right.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Solana holding a 41.4% market share. So this is not
- 11:23Speaker 1: just something that is passively happening lightly.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I think this is a major.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Shift underway, and it's a shift that I think many
- 11:30Speaker 1: of the investors are starting to recognize and really get behind.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And I think the next key is going to be
- 11:36Speaker 1: how China could actually become a major component to this.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So be watching this very closely.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Now, I want to jump over to another angle here
- 11:46Speaker 1: because this is something that a lot of you guys
- 11:48Speaker 1: are always watching. Who are the best investors to track? Well,
- 11:53Speaker 1: one of them is Cathie Woods that we've talked about.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Never been on our show, but we've talked about her
- 11:59Speaker 1: a lot in reference to some of the selections. And
- 12:01Speaker 1: the primary reason is she goes into companies that are
- 12:03Speaker 1: usually frontrunners in terms of news and trends and their
- 12:08Speaker 1: innovation side.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Well, this is a clip of her getting.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Pressed on why they are not performing against some other
- 12:17Speaker 1: asset classes.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 12:18Speaker 10: Now, you are comparing us to QQQs. That is an
- 12:23Speaker 10: incorrect comparison because we are focused on technologically enabled innovation
- 12:31Speaker 10: across all sectors. Roughly 30%, 25% to 30% of our portfolio.
- 12:34Speaker 7: Right now.
- 12:39Speaker 10: Is in healthcare, which we believe is going to be
- 12:42Speaker 10: the most profound application of AI. The QQQs are not
- 12:49Speaker 10: involved in healthcare or in financial services. It's barely involved
- 12:56Speaker 10: in financial services. So there's no comparison.
- 13:02Speaker 1: All right, so very defensive, and I think for the
- 13:05Speaker 1: right reason, you had investors kind of pressing Cathie Wood saying,
- 13:08Speaker 1: why are you allowed to have any public speaking opinions
- 13:11Speaker 1: when ARK is literally destroying people's capital? The five-year performance
- 13:15Speaker 1: was down 15% during an AI boom, which we have seen.
- 13:20Speaker 1: We're once-in-a-lifetime growth boom, and here you are minus 15.
- 13:24Speaker 1: QQQ is up, guess what, 112%. in the same time period.
- 13:29Speaker 1: So this is the challenge that all of you should
- 13:31Speaker 1: be looking at right now.
- 13:33Speaker 2: And that is get out there, do your own research.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Hopefully what we're doing is bringing you news, get you insights,
- 13:39Speaker 1: maybe some analysis on where to kind of look, put
- 13:42Speaker 1: a lens on. And this is the kind of thing
- 13:45Speaker 1: that I think we are all going to be facing
- 13:47Speaker 1: very quickly. You've got the S & P 500 hitting
- 13:50Speaker 1: a new all-time high. If Tom Lee is right and
- 13:54Speaker 1: we see a super cycle coming in right here, this
- 13:58Speaker 1: could be a huge component forward. Just to give you
- 14:01Speaker 1: a comparison, remember the Mag 7 ETF, just to show
- 14:05Speaker 1: you the performance that has been happening. And if you
- 14:07Speaker 1: think about this, this is an easy pick, I think,
- 14:09Speaker 1: for everybody out there in terms of buying. So if
- 14:12Speaker 1: you're not sure, it's not necessarily you needing a specialist
- 14:16Speaker 1: to go out and do.
- 14:17Speaker 2: This for you.
- 14:17Speaker 1: In many cases, you can go out and do this
- 14:19Speaker 1: yourself if you're doing the right kind of research.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Now, I get it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Some of you maybe don't have the time. You're in
- 14:24Speaker 1: a position where you want to trust a major Wall
- 14:27Speaker 1: Street player to get into that. But it is a
- 14:29Speaker 1: factor that is now being asked in the market. And
- 14:32Speaker 1: with all the tools that are happening around AI, this,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I think, is only going to get better and better
- 14:37Speaker 1: for traders going forward. So pay attention here. Listen, when
- 14:41Speaker 1: you have Tom Lee getting more views than the president
- 14:44Speaker 1: right now in terms of what's going on, something is
- 14:48Speaker 1: up in the market. Even though we're seeing a little
- 14:51Speaker 1: bit of a pullback right now, something is brewing And
- 14:55Speaker 1: I think investors and traders in general are all preparing
- 14:58Speaker 1: for something. Here is Tom Lee talking about what the
- 15:01Speaker 1: opportunity is around Ethereum and where he stands.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Currently at $ 6 million. That took us a little over
- 15:08Speaker 2: a year. We thought this would take five years. It
- 15:11Speaker 2: took us a little over a year.
- 15:14Speaker 3: More importantly, we did this all in the middle of
- 15:17Speaker 3: a bear market.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So we bought ETH. Well, no one wanted to buy it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: We were glad to buy it cheaply. We bought a lot.
- 15:26Speaker 1: At $ 1, 500.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But it's in the middle of a bear market.
- 15:29Speaker 7: And now we're going to stop.
- 15:31Speaker 3: We only need to get another $ 100, 000 ETH to get
- 15:34Speaker 3: to 5%.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So as you can see there, this is a good
- 15:36Speaker 1: example of how investors in BM & R are actually
- 15:40Speaker 1: getting something delivered to them that was anticipated. And now
- 15:44Speaker 1: you're in a position with what that's going to do
- 15:47Speaker 1: around Ethereum. They're this close to actually obtaining 5% of
- 15:52Speaker 1: Ethereum locked up. And remember, this is just nothing but
- 15:54Speaker 1: an earnings engine for BM & R. So be watching this,
- 16:00Speaker 1: be watching Solana, and take a very close eye on
- 16:03Speaker 1: what's happening in China because things could get very heated
- 16:06Speaker 1: in a very fast fashion. If you like this video,
