- 0:00Speaker 1: Imagine thinking of yourself as a normal, healthy human being
- 0:04Speaker 1: when suddenly you feel your life quickly slipping away right
- 0:08Speaker 1: in front of your family, from death's door to health advocate. Today,
- 0:12Speaker 1: my co host is going to share her near death
- 0:14Speaker 1: experience and how God redirected the course of her life entirely.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Hello everybody, and welcome back to Life TV Now, where
- 0:31Speaker 1: we unpack all matters of truth, faith and freedom. If
- 0:34Speaker 1: you miss last week, go back to the archives wherever
- 0:37Speaker 1: you watch this program, because we talked about a lot
- 0:40Speaker 1: of the inspiration behind what we hope to accomplish with
- 0:44Speaker 1: this program in terms of bringing you truth where politics
- 0:48Speaker 1: wants to overstep boundaries and presume to control your life
- 0:51Speaker 1: when pharmaceutical industries want to control your life. We talked
- 0:55Speaker 1: a lot about last week finding freedom through Jesus Christ,
- 0:59Speaker 1: his medicine and the agency that He is given to
- 1:01Speaker 1: us so that we can do life well. My beautiful
- 1:04Speaker 1: wife Catherine, and my co host Jamie Woodle, who is
- 1:12Speaker 1: an integrative nutrition health coach with a Master of Science
- 1:15Speaker 1: and health education. You know, Jamie, we just launched our
- 1:22Speaker 1: pilot for this program last week, and so I don't
- 1:24Speaker 1: want to take for granted that the audience may want
- 1:26Speaker 1: to get to know who's up here on panel. My wife,
- 1:29Speaker 1: of course, was a part of my testimonial last week,
- 1:31Speaker 1: and she waited in just a little bit. But for
- 1:33Speaker 1: those wondering an integrative nutrition health coach with a master
- 1:37Speaker 1: of science and health education, they might just assume that
- 1:40Speaker 1: you've always been a part of natural healing or holistic
- 1:43Speaker 1: health or the approach to living life that way. But
- 1:45Speaker 1: that wasn't always the case, was it? And you lived
- 1:48Speaker 1: through something very terrifying, kind of like I shared about
- 1:52Speaker 1: my own journey. So many of the people now that
- 1:54Speaker 1: we see as we do health conferences and we meet
- 1:57Speaker 1: those that have become you know, natural or doctors of homeopathy.
- 2:02Speaker 1: These are people who often have kind of what we
- 2:04Speaker 1: call a genesis story. They were a part of the
- 2:07Speaker 1: Babylonian construct or, they were deeply into allopathic medicine, are
- 2:12Speaker 1: very very ill, and it wasn't until they discovered God's
- 2:14Speaker 1: medicine that they feel that they were given their lives back. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: well that was not completely foreign to you either, right,
- 2:20Speaker 1: You lived through something that almost took your life.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I did. I had a health scare and nearly lost
- 2:26Speaker 2: my life. But I want to go back to the beginning.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I grew up relatively in poverty. My parents were much older.
- 2:34Speaker 2: They lived through the Great Depression, and my father was
- 2:38Speaker 2: a gardener. He loved to garden. He had corn, carrots, peas,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and I used to walk through the garden and eat
- 2:45Speaker 2: them raw. My dad would often juice the carrots, and
- 2:49Speaker 2: he would eat raw garlic when he was sick, which
- 2:52Speaker 2: I always thought was really gross. His breath was horrid,
- 2:55Speaker 2: burns the eyes, and I never could do it ever.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But as time went on and I grew up, my
- 3:01Speaker 2: sister would come and live with us at times because
- 3:03Speaker 2: her husband was in the military, and she would make
- 3:06Speaker 2: something called dandelion milkshakes, where she would basically go and
- 3:10Speaker 2: pick dandelion leaves off the side of the road, wash
- 3:13Speaker 2: them really good, and make them into something her and
- 3:17Speaker 2: her boys thought was delicious. I did not agree. I
- 3:20Speaker 2: thought it tasted like grass, but they loved it somehow.
- 3:24Speaker 2: She was very holistic, and I always admired that, and
- 3:28Speaker 2: I think I've just generally had a curiosity for health,
- 3:30Speaker 2: but it was not a big priority in my life.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It wasn't a huge focus, and so I grew up
- 3:36Speaker 2: and became an adult. I was in the military for
- 3:40Speaker 2: a time being where I met my husband, and I
- 3:43Speaker 2: only did six years and then became a stain at
- 3:45Speaker 2: home mom. Well, fast forward and I'm thirty six years old,
- 3:50Speaker 2: I am a mother of two. I am working as
- 3:52Speaker 2: a preschool teacher at a Christian school, and I found myself,
- 3:58Speaker 2: after many years of yo yo diet being well over
- 4:01Speaker 2: two hundred pounds, to the point I was so ashamed
- 4:04Speaker 2: even step on a scale. I don't know exactly how
- 4:07Speaker 2: much I was, but I'm only five foot four, and
- 4:09Speaker 2: so that definitely put me into a pretty good obese
- 4:13Speaker 2: category on the books.
- 4:14Speaker 1: For context, when you say yo yo dieting, so there
- 4:16Speaker 1: was effort to try to lose weight.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Is it because.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You wanted to look better? Was it because you felt
- 4:21Speaker 1: really bad? Or both?
- 4:22Speaker 2: Or just it was for vanity reasons. For sure, I
- 4:25Speaker 2: wanted to be thin. I kind of took after my mom.
- 4:28Speaker 2: My mom grew up in the air of weight waters
- 4:31Speaker 2: and low fat diets, and I kind of was, you know,
- 4:33Speaker 2: getting on. I did keto for nine months and lost
- 4:36Speaker 2: thirty three pounds and then gained it back plus more,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and it put me in this obese category.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And what you're describing is is probably going to be
- 4:43Speaker 1: some of the viewers have I either identified with this
- 4:46Speaker 1: in the past or they're living it out now and
- 4:48Speaker 1: they're now probably immediately wondering, okay, well, and then how
- 4:51Speaker 1: have you lost weight and kept it off? And we'll
- 4:54Speaker 1: get to some of that, but continue.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I felt very ashamed of my weight, and I don't
- 4:58Speaker 2: know why I carried that, but I did. I was
- 5:00Speaker 2: very ashamed of it. And I was tired all the time, though,
- 5:04Speaker 2: very tired, and I kind of attributed it to I
- 5:06Speaker 2: was a preschool teacher part time, and then I was
- 5:09Speaker 2: also going to school online to get my bachelor's degree,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and I just thought, well, I'm just really tired. But
- 5:13Speaker 2: I found myself in this very common cycle of coming
- 5:17Speaker 2: home being too tired to cook, and so it was
- 5:20Speaker 2: some type of frozen lasagna. Yeah. Absolutely. My kids had
- 5:25Speaker 2: drawers tupperware drawers of Little Debbie snacks and goldfish and
- 5:30Speaker 2: whatever other kind of just processed quick to grab. They
- 5:33Speaker 2: like it snow fuss. But there was one day, it
- 5:36Speaker 2: was my husband's birthday. We went out to it was
- 5:39Speaker 2: like a hibachi sushi restaurant, and I was very, very
- 5:44Speaker 2: depressed normally, but even worse on this day because today
- 5:48Speaker 2: was the day we had to tell our kids that
- 5:50Speaker 2: it was daddy's turn to deploy, and so we're trying
- 5:53Speaker 2: to put on a happy face and it's Daddy's birthday,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and because.
- 5:58Speaker 1: He's getting ready to leave town in the military. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 1: just so people miss that, She said, they're going to
- 6:04Speaker 1: have to reveal to the kids that Daddy's getting ready
- 6:06Speaker 1: to deploy.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yes, And we were so blessed up until this point
- 6:10Speaker 2: because the only deployment he had been on was he
- 6:12Speaker 2: and I together deployed before we had kids, and this
- 6:14Speaker 2: was the first time he was going alone. We tried
- 6:16Speaker 2: to put on the happy face and celebrate. We came home,
- 6:21Speaker 2: got out the chocolate cake. I way more than I
- 6:24Speaker 2: should have, I think, just trying to feed that want
- 6:27Speaker 2: to feel happy.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:29Speaker 2: We tell the kids daddy has to leave, and they're crying,
- 6:32Speaker 2: and we cry together. But at one point, after all
- 6:37Speaker 2: the tears, I realized that my daughter had a science
- 6:40Speaker 2: project that had to go to school with her the
- 6:42Speaker 2: next day. So I went ahead and got it and
- 6:43Speaker 2: put it into the van. And I didn't realize right away,
- 6:47Speaker 2: but when I came out of the van, I had
- 6:49Speaker 2: been stepping on a fire ant hill. Now, we lived
- 6:51Speaker 2: in South Carolina at the time, and fire ants are everywhere.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You can't avoid them. You try to get rid of them,
- 6:57Speaker 2: and they just move. And I didn't notice this, and
- 7:00Speaker 2: so I looked down and there were several on my
- 7:02Speaker 2: leg and I tried to brush them off, and then
- 7:04Speaker 2: I go inside and this heat starts to rise up
- 7:09Speaker 2: in me, and I know instantly, somehow I knew. I
- 7:13Speaker 2: don't know if it was the Holy Spirit. I was like,
- 7:15Speaker 2: I need Benadryl, and so I go digging through a
- 7:17Speaker 2: little bin of medication and I can't find it, and
- 7:20Speaker 2: it's escalating. I know this is suddenly a crisis, and
- 7:23Speaker 2: so I go upstairs and I sit on the bed
- 7:26Speaker 2: where my husband and children are still consoling themselves after
- 7:29Speaker 2: learning about the deployment, and I tell my husband, go
- 7:34Speaker 2: get me some benadryl. I can't find it, and he
- 7:36Speaker 2: saw the panic in my eyes and he quickly rushes downstairs.
- 7:39Speaker 2: And I'm sitting there and all of a sudden, this
- 7:42Speaker 2: darkness starts to close in and I feel my eyes
- 7:45Speaker 2: getting so heavy, and I feel the need to possibly vomit,
- 7:50Speaker 2: and I get on my hands and knees because I
- 7:52Speaker 2: was too weak to stand and my eyes couldn't stay
- 7:55Speaker 2: open well enough to walk. So I'm crawling to the
- 7:57Speaker 2: bathroom and I yell out to my eye year old daughter,
- 8:00Speaker 2: I call nine one one, and I make it to
- 8:03Speaker 2: the bathroom and I am horribly ill, and I don't
- 8:08Speaker 2: know what is wrong, but I remember my husband saying
- 8:12Speaker 2: that they're on their way. They're on their way. Get
- 8:14Speaker 2: out of the bathroom, and I was like, I can't.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I literally cannot move. So the firemen are there and
- 8:19Speaker 2: they're asking me to open my eyes and I can't.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I cannot open my eyes. So eventually they go to
- 8:24Speaker 2: lift me up and I pass out and all I
- 8:29Speaker 2: know is I wake up and I am like crouched
- 8:33Speaker 2: down in this field with wheat, like golden ripe wheat,
- 8:39Speaker 2: and it's gently swaying.
- 8:41Speaker 1: This is what you're seeing.
- 8:42Speaker 2: This is what I'm seeing. I'm experiencing it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you couldn't open your eyes, and the next thing
- 8:46Speaker 1: you know, would you say that you had like transcended
- 8:49Speaker 1: to another space. I was definitely lived experience you. You
- 8:52Speaker 1: were suddenly somewhere else.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I was somewhere else, and there was this peace and
- 8:59Speaker 2: it was bright like sunshiny, although I don't recall there
- 9:02Speaker 2: being a sun, but it was bright and off in
- 9:05Speaker 2: the distance, and I'm looking through this wheat and I
- 9:09Speaker 2: see Jesus standing profile to me, and he's speaking to
- 9:13Speaker 2: somebody who's down, almost like a warrior would bow before
- 9:17Speaker 2: a king, and he's speaking and I'm trying really hard
- 9:22Speaker 2: to listen to what he's saying. And I look at
- 9:25Speaker 2: the person bowing and I realize that's me, and I'm
- 9:28Speaker 2: in a white robe, and I try intently to listen harder,
- 9:34Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden, I'm back in my
- 9:36Speaker 2: body and the pain hits me and the stress, and
- 9:40Speaker 2: the paramedics had given me an EPI pen and brought
- 9:43Speaker 2: me back to consciousness, and I was mad. I was
- 9:47Speaker 2: furious that I was back because the place that I
- 9:51Speaker 2: was was beautiful and free and light, and we don't
- 9:56Speaker 2: even realize it, but being on earth there is this
- 9:58Speaker 2: burden to breathe and not having that you don't even
- 10:02Speaker 2: realize it is just free and full of peace and love.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And I was mad that they brought me back and
- 10:08Speaker 2: my eyes were still closed and I was like, no,
- 10:11Speaker 2: I was talking to someone. If a paramedic he says
- 10:14Speaker 2: it was me, and I was like, no, not you,
- 10:20Speaker 2: and they carried me down the stairs and I just
- 10:23Speaker 2: felt so bad that they had to struggle up my
- 10:25Speaker 2: heavyweight to get me down the stairs, and I kept
- 10:27Speaker 2: apologizing and they put me in the ambulance and the
- 10:30Speaker 2: pain is horrible at this time. I don't know if
- 10:34Speaker 2: any of our viewers or any of you have experienced
- 10:36Speaker 2: anaphylectic shock, but there is this intense cramping, almost like
- 10:40Speaker 2: labor pains, and I was in intense pain and they
- 10:43Speaker 2: couldn't give me anything until I got to the hospital.
- 10:48Speaker 2: But I struggled for a long time after that with well,
- 10:52Speaker 2: I'm here on this earth and there's nothing I can
- 10:54Speaker 2: do about that right now, or nothing that I will
- 10:56Speaker 2: do about that. I do want to be there for
- 10:58Speaker 2: my kids and my family them. I don't want to
- 11:01Speaker 2: leave them, but also it's kind of sucky to be
- 11:05Speaker 2: on earth compared to where I was, and so I
- 11:07Speaker 2: dealt with that over time. But I realized that I
- 11:10Speaker 2: think I'm here for a reason and I need to
- 11:13Speaker 2: do something with my life. And I realized that I
- 11:16Speaker 2: was incredibly unhealthy because I up until this anaphylactic shock,
- 11:19Speaker 2: I had never had an allergy in my life, and
- 11:22Speaker 2: I had been bitten by fire ants many times. We'd
- 11:24Speaker 2: lived in the Carolinas for almost nine years. At this point,
- 11:28Speaker 2: I had no reason to ever suspect that could happen.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So I had no EpiPen or anything. And so God
- 11:35Speaker 2: really moved mountains because we were just a couple of
- 11:38Speaker 2: weeks away from my husband having to deploy, and that
- 11:42Speaker 2: was really nerve wracking for him because I work on
- 11:43Speaker 2: a playground and I'm going to be continually exposed to
- 11:46Speaker 2: fire ants, yeah, yeah, and what if my wife dies
- 11:49Speaker 2: while I'm deployed, right, And so that was really weighing
- 11:52Speaker 2: on us, and we were praying and praying, and we
- 11:54Speaker 2: didn't know what the solution was going to be. I
- 11:56Speaker 2: bought high boots and like cover ups and just made
- 11:59Speaker 2: sure that as little of my body was exposed as
- 12:01Speaker 2: possible out on the playground. But then my husband got
- 12:06Speaker 2: orders to Utah, which is incredibly rare because deployments always
- 12:11Speaker 2: take priority. He had all this paperwork done, he was
- 12:14Speaker 2: practically out processed to go on this deployment, and suddenly
- 12:17Speaker 2: there were orders in his inbox to move to Utah, which,
- 12:20Speaker 2: by the way, there are no fire ants in Utah.
- 12:23Speaker 2: So we were very, very excited. And when I got
- 12:26Speaker 2: to Utah, I felt this refreshing, this renewing, and I
- 12:30Speaker 2: felt like, I'm going to get on top of my health.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I'm going to do this. And it was about that time, Joe,
- 12:36Speaker 2: that you came out with time Bomb. So I got
- 12:38Speaker 2: time Bomb and I started reading it and I was
- 12:40Speaker 2: devouring it, soaking it up, finding out about how to
- 12:44Speaker 2: read labels.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And I hadn't seen you in years.
- 12:47Speaker 2: No.
- 12:47Speaker 1: No, we had maintained friendship from the early two thousands
- 12:52Speaker 1: because we did ministerial work at Camp Davidson that's right right,
- 12:55Speaker 1: which was a retreat center for young people, and we
- 12:58Speaker 1: served the youth camp that was a youth camp. We
- 13:00Speaker 1: also did some ministerial work with Royal Family kids and
- 13:02Speaker 1: some of the stuff that if you follow the Ministry
- 13:05Speaker 1: of my Family you would know that we you know,
- 13:07Speaker 1: we serve children that have been pulled out of sex trafficking,
- 13:09Speaker 1: and we do that now currently, kids that are wards
- 13:13Speaker 1: of the state, and kids that have been abused in
- 13:15Speaker 1: every possible way, and this program isn't about that. But anyway,
- 13:19Speaker 1: you and I had done some of that decades ago,
- 13:22Speaker 1: but other than keeping in touch via email or an
- 13:25Speaker 1: occasional catchup on the phone. You know, you and I
- 13:28Speaker 1: were not in regular correspondence, so I had no idea
- 13:30Speaker 1: that you even had a copy of my book. Yes,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and I didn't know you were reading it.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And I remember vividly sitting out on my porch
- 13:39Speaker 2: in the sunlight and drinking my zevia because that was
- 13:43Speaker 2: a healthier step up than soda. I had to cut
- 13:44Speaker 2: out the soda. And so I felt like I was
- 13:46Speaker 2: really doing something for my health. And I'm reading the
- 13:48Speaker 2: book and I'm learning all these things well.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And for context for people unfamiliar with this, time Bomb
- 13:53Speaker 1: and a book called it was a book I put
- 13:55Speaker 1: out in twenty eighteen called time Bomb that explained my
- 13:59Speaker 1: journey through different but very similar construct things. So allopathic medicine, surgeries, autoimmunity,
- 14:06Speaker 1: digestive disorders, all kinds of issues, all of the standard thing,
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know, acid reflux, the whole thing, and feeling like
- 14:12Speaker 1: I was basically dying at thirty four. And then when
- 14:15Speaker 1: God showed me, and you can go back to last
- 14:17Speaker 1: week's program when we did the pilot if you want
- 14:20Speaker 1: the slightly longer version, but God showed me through surrogates
- 14:23Speaker 1: of natural health, that my life could be different. And
- 14:27Speaker 1: when I came out with that book, it was really
- 14:29Speaker 1: just the want to share that with the world. We
- 14:32Speaker 1: were going to clinics. I'm thinking of myself like a
- 14:35Speaker 1: genetic anomaly. They'll never figure out what's going on with me.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And I said for years and years, But now I'm
- 14:40Speaker 1: into the natural medicine train, I'm finding out this is
- 14:42Speaker 1: not just me. I'm learning that this is people that
- 14:45Speaker 1: had very malevolent diseases that they were told would take
- 14:48Speaker 1: their life that year and their post when they would
- 14:52Speaker 1: have been ringing bells and they look better than prior
- 14:54Speaker 1: to when they discovered the thing in their body, Like,
- 14:57Speaker 1: how can this be? I had to tell the world
- 14:59Speaker 1: like man, And if you're trapped by that construct of
- 15:02Speaker 1: people that are blaming genetics and they're saying diet is irrelevant,
- 15:06Speaker 1: offering surgeries and you know not that there aren't situations
- 15:10Speaker 1: on occasion where you might need an allopathic intervention. So
- 15:14Speaker 1: following a car accident, there's probably not a lot of
- 15:17Speaker 1: green tea that's going to get an infection out of
- 15:20Speaker 1: your neck. If radiator fluid has you know, busted into
- 15:23Speaker 1: the front end of your face and you're in a
- 15:25Speaker 1: monstrous situation. But in terms of reversing long term things,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you know, natural medicine in our view has become completely
- 15:33Speaker 1: superior and so not to have taken over. But I
- 15:37Speaker 1: was learning that this is not just Joe Horn. This
- 15:41Speaker 1: is a lot of people who find their wellness through
- 15:45Speaker 1: this alternative that the world mostly looks at and says
- 15:48Speaker 1: it's crazy, And we're like, no flip that the people
- 15:51Speaker 1: that are lining up and then marching behind someone else
- 15:54Speaker 1: to follow that pied piper of medicine instead of looking
- 15:59Speaker 1: at the fact that there's alternative. I was that guy
- 16:02Speaker 1: at one point. Yeah, So getting back to your story,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I write the book time Bomb. It's this celebration of
- 16:08Speaker 1: herbal medicine and my exodus from the Babylonian system that's
- 16:13Speaker 1: designed to keep you sick and to keep you a
- 16:16Speaker 1: customer for life. And I'm not saying that your doctor
- 16:19Speaker 1: is a part of a malevolent industry that personally has
- 16:22Speaker 1: a vested interest in depopulating the world, but the pharmaceutical
- 16:27Speaker 1: companies that have a lot of influence over how a
- 16:29Speaker 1: lot of academia is shaped. And the first place is
- 16:32Speaker 1: what a lot of these doctors are learning from and obviously,
- 16:35Speaker 1: absolutely that was what the book time Bomb was about.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So you're reading that book, you're coming out of this
- 16:41Speaker 1: this anaphylaxis, and you're wanting to devote your life to
- 16:45Speaker 1: being well. Context that's why this book time Bomb was
- 16:49Speaker 1: so revelatory for you.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it absolutely was. I started cleaning out my pantry.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I went cold turkey on a lot of things. Some
- 16:56Speaker 2: other things were a little bit slower to kind of
- 16:58Speaker 2: wean off, but I started making my family largely plant based.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Not exclusively so, but there was just a lot of
- 17:05Speaker 2: chopping of vegetables and recipes like that, which was to
- 17:09Speaker 2: my children's dismay because they were used to little debbies
- 17:13Speaker 2: in stone Lasagnia and so this was really difficult for them.
- 17:17Speaker 2: They eventually have Caughton on more. I wish I would
- 17:20Speaker 2: have started from the beginning with the healthy eating. It
- 17:23Speaker 2: would have been easier. But I started to lose weight.
- 17:25Speaker 2: As soon as I cleaned out my pantry and started
- 17:28Speaker 2: focusing on plant based foods, animal proteins, just right to
- 17:33Speaker 2: the basics, the weight started to come off naturally. I
- 17:37Speaker 2: hadn't even joined a gym at this point. I did
- 17:39Speaker 2: eventually and found that group classes felt less like exercise
- 17:44Speaker 2: because it was more fun, like you're doing something with friends,
- 17:48Speaker 2: and that helped in just over time changing those habits.
- 17:52Speaker 2: The weight came off, and I wasn't tracking calories or
- 17:56Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I would actually offer this if you're watching this program
- 18:01Speaker 1: and you're like, Okay, but what's the secret Sauce. When
- 18:04Speaker 1: people ask me, you know, Joe, how do I lose weight?
- 18:06Speaker 1: How do I keep it off? I say, well, first
- 18:08Speaker 1: of all, much of everything that this country has told
- 18:11Speaker 1: you in terms of diet and exercise about weight loss,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you can kind of dismiss most of it. Yeah, you know,
- 18:17Speaker 1: theory crafting weight loss diets and gimmicks. And you see
- 18:22Speaker 1: all these social media adds for this magic supplement ter
- 18:24Speaker 1: pill that's going to drive And then now you have
- 18:26Speaker 1: this entire generation of in particularly women, seeking medications that
- 18:34Speaker 1: tinker with pancreatic and enzymatic production and glucose levels. And
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you won't know for a few years what
- 18:44Speaker 1: those side effects long term are going to look like.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And so I caution with all of my heart pharmaceutical
- 18:51Speaker 1: interventions that force normal functions in your body, like pancreatic
- 18:56Speaker 1: activity into something that I believe is perverted to produce
- 19:00Speaker 1: an artificial result. If you didn't get there healthily, there's
- 19:04Speaker 1: going to be a consequence for that. And what a
- 19:07Speaker 1: lot of people don't understand, and this is what I
- 19:09Speaker 1: tell people with weight loss in particular, so you can
- 19:11Speaker 1: maybe drop this down. Weight loss is not always running
- 19:15Speaker 1: on a treadmill and then callerie counting, and that is
- 19:17Speaker 1: what most of the country believes.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It is.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Wait a minute, even you can lose weight and not
- 19:21Speaker 1: be on a treadmill, you know, four or five days
- 19:23Speaker 1: a week, and in fact, here is going to strike
- 19:27Speaker 1: serious controversy. I would suggest that for people that have
- 19:30Speaker 1: not been evaluated in terms of their cardiovascular health or sustainability,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I would not even recommend that a person with an
- 19:37Speaker 1: unknown vascular situation get on a treadmill and just start
- 19:41Speaker 1: seeing what they're able to do in terms of, you know,
- 19:44Speaker 1: pumping blood through their body. It is good, but it
- 19:47Speaker 1: can be dangerous. It can be the thing that actually
- 19:49Speaker 1: triggers any event that is very ill advised. So I
- 19:52Speaker 1: like to start in terms of weight loss, heart health,
- 19:55Speaker 1: all of this. I like to start nutritionally, and what
- 19:58Speaker 1: I tell people is when you're liver gets cleaned out
- 20:01Speaker 1: and caught up, a lot of that weight will start
- 20:04Speaker 1: falling off because your liver is behind so much of
- 20:07Speaker 1: the enzymatic production. That has to do in the first
- 20:10Speaker 1: place with whether you absorb and receive what you're eating
- 20:12Speaker 1: or whether your body is just storing it's right because
- 20:15Speaker 1: it can't even deal with it, and you keep swallowing
- 20:18Speaker 1: more of it, and your calling is completely irritated. It's inflamed.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You have food passing through leaky gut syndrome. You create
- 20:27Speaker 1: a lot of metabolic disorder in the first place by
- 20:30Speaker 1: eating these foods that often you feel you're getting away with,
- 20:32Speaker 1: but there's this consequence. Eighty percent of your immunity lives
- 20:37Speaker 1: in your gut. You don't always feel it in the gut.
- 20:40Speaker 1: This could manifest like arthritis symptoms, or maybe they tell
- 20:43Speaker 1: you you have hyperthyroidism, or maybe they tell you that
- 20:45Speaker 1: you have a lethargic gallbladder and it's time to cut
- 20:48Speaker 1: that out, or maybe it's time for the appendix to
- 20:50Speaker 1: come out because it's we don't need one, is what
- 20:53Speaker 1: we're told. But getting back to your story, just wanted
- 20:57Speaker 1: people watching the show for context to know this is
- 20:59Speaker 1: pro probably why when you cleaned up your diet and
- 21:03Speaker 1: stopped focusing on I got to stand on a scale
- 21:05Speaker 1: and run on a thing and lift a deal that
- 21:08Speaker 1: your weight started to come off. Your color is completely
- 21:11Speaker 1: different than it was ten years ago the way I
- 21:13Speaker 1: remember you then. And it's because liver gets caught up. Yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 1: body starts breaking down foods. We're going to talk in
- 21:20Speaker 1: future programs about more of that, and food enzymes and
- 21:24Speaker 1: ways to help metabolize faster and you know, rejuvenate vitality.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But getting back to your story, you've gone through what
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'll just call an awakening, this near death experience. You're
- 21:36Speaker 1: transcended to this space where you believe you see Jesus.
- 21:39Speaker 1: He's got a message. But when you talk about not
- 21:42Speaker 1: being able to hear what he says, it reminds me
- 21:44Speaker 1: of my father. He had a situation was an nd
- 21:48Speaker 1: many many decades ago, where he also said there was
- 21:52Speaker 1: instructions that I wasn't permitted to remember. And my dad
- 21:55Speaker 1: is saying, you know, Lord, don't let me forget. Don't
- 21:57Speaker 1: let me forget. You know this thing that you've shown me,
- 21:59Speaker 1: this you've told me, And then he grappled with the
- 22:03Speaker 1: confusion of that until later he found a verse that
- 22:06Speaker 1: talked about I hide my instructions in the heart of man,
- 22:10Speaker 1: and then I conceal it from him to save him
- 22:12Speaker 1: from pride. And then it made sense as a published
- 22:15Speaker 1: author and a person on television that if he had
- 22:17Speaker 1: known what the future held as a young man, pride
- 22:19Speaker 1: may have messed with those plans. That's the collapsed version
- 22:22Speaker 1: of it. So sometimes God writes the instructions in the
- 22:25Speaker 1: middle of the night as we slumber upon our beds.
- 22:27Speaker 1: He will reveal things that are meant for our bodies
- 22:30Speaker 1: to receive, but we are we are then safeguarded. Our
- 22:35Speaker 1: hubris is blocked out of the equation so that we
- 22:37Speaker 1: can't then fixate on it and attach it to what
- 22:39Speaker 1: we're Yeah, before we run out of time, though, Jamie,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know, as you're sitting here today, we can talk
- 22:46Speaker 1: for many many weeks in the future about different aspects
- 22:50Speaker 1: of your continued journey. But you know you're doing much
- 22:53Speaker 1: better now. And I've known you for a long time.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You have kept the weight off for the entire reintroduction
- 22:59Speaker 1: back into our life for the last couple of years. Yeah,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you continue to fight everything with nature's medicine. God's medicine,
- 23:05Speaker 1: natural herbs you eat well, you know, at holidays, she
- 23:09Speaker 1: will make gluten free things that I'm you know, sweetened
- 23:13Speaker 1: with things like monk fruit and not you know, processed sugars.
- 23:17Speaker 1: She lives the life. What do you hope to do
- 23:19Speaker 1: on this program? But also just as a health advocate,
- 23:21Speaker 1: how do you see yourself, you know, really assisting others
- 23:24Speaker 1: with their journeys through things like weight loss and autoimmunity
- 23:27Speaker 1: and gut health.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's exactly what I decided to do because
- 23:33Speaker 2: after I read time Bomb, it was twenty twenty and
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'm learning all of these things about natural healing and
- 23:41Speaker 2: things you can do to support cellular health and help
- 23:44Speaker 2: your immune system. And I'm watching as we all go
- 23:47Speaker 2: through all the protocols for COVID the pandemic, and I'm
- 23:52Speaker 2: just thinking, if people only knew, if people knew. And
- 23:56Speaker 2: that's when I decided, because I was currently almost finished
- 23:59Speaker 2: with a bachelor's agree to become a counselor. And I decided,
- 24:04Speaker 2: I think I'm going to pivot and I'm going to
- 24:07Speaker 2: do something with health. So I duly enrolled in the
- 24:11Speaker 2: Institute for Integrative Nutrition. And I also when I was
- 24:14Speaker 2: finished with my bachelor's decided that I wanted to learn
- 24:18Speaker 2: the science of health education, and so that's what I did,
- 24:22Speaker 2: and I used to coach people, but I just felt
- 24:24Speaker 2: called to move to Missouri, and I'm just following the
- 24:27Speaker 2: Holy Spirit and what God has for me. But I
- 24:29Speaker 2: definitely hope on this show that we can do just that,
- 24:34Speaker 2: provide the information it needs to get out there. And
- 24:37Speaker 2: there is a lot of shadow banning happening online, and
- 24:41Speaker 2: so this is our effort to inspire others to get
- 24:44Speaker 2: healthy for yourself, for your children, and even just think
- 24:48Speaker 2: about how is your health holding you back from where
- 24:50Speaker 2: you want to be spiritually. That was something for me
- 24:53Speaker 2: that I had to deal with as well, and so
- 24:57Speaker 2: I hope that we inspire you on this show because
- 24:59Speaker 2: you're not alone. We have been through things too, and
- 25:04Speaker 2: we just want to share and help others get better.
- 25:06Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, I couldn't have said it better myself.
- 25:12Speaker 1: But ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately we're all out of time.
- 25:15Speaker 1: We're gonna have to go for now. For everybody here
- 25:17Speaker 1: in studio, for everybody up here on panel, Jamie Catherine,
- 25:20Speaker 1: thank you so much for being here once again this week.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Keep your eyes on the prize, which is Jesus Christ.
- 25:25Speaker 1: We'll be back. Hello everybody, it's Joe Artist, horn Board
- 25:45Speaker 1: certified holistic health practitioner, and I'm here to tell you
- 25:49Speaker 1: that Eden's Essentials has some brand new supplements that we
- 25:52Speaker 1: are very very excited about.
- 25:54Speaker 2: What do you think, Jamie, I'm very excited. These are
- 25:56Speaker 2: essential nutrands often overlooked in our nutrition and.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Joining us today from the Richardson Nutrition Center, John Richardson Junior.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Joe. It's my pleasure to partner
- 26:09Speaker 3: with Eden's Essentials to bring this to your audience. It's fantastic.
- 26:13Speaker 3: It's an absolute blessing to be working with your company.
- 26:17Speaker 3: And what we've done is make this more available for
- 26:20Speaker 3: more people, and that's the key. We really want to
- 26:22Speaker 3: bring these nutrients that have been hidden kind of hidden
- 26:25Speaker 3: secrets out to the general public. And that's what we're doing.
- 26:28Speaker 3: And if I can describe in thirty seconds of what
- 26:31Speaker 3: each one of those.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Are, I'd be glad to do it.
- 26:32Speaker 3: So it's really simple. The kind of the basic one
- 26:35Speaker 3: that people need to understand is be seventeen. It's found
- 26:37Speaker 3: in over twelve hundred different foods. Problem is our American
- 26:40Speaker 3: diet is lacking completely that B seventeen anymore. It's all
- 26:44Speaker 3: been cooked out, processed gmode out of our food to
- 26:48Speaker 3: where we only get about a half a milligram a
- 26:50Speaker 3: day of B seventeen and it gets right into your system.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Then we've got our enzymes, which are the pancreatic enzymes,
- 26:57Speaker 3: primarily trips and and chymal trips, and which eat the
- 27:01Speaker 3: outer protein coating of an improperly multiplying cell. Let's leave
- 27:05Speaker 3: it at that. That eats that negatively charged protein covering.
- 27:08Speaker 3: It allows the B seventeen to activate and do its
- 27:12Speaker 3: work against that thing that's covered by that protein shell.
- 27:16Speaker 3: That's a negatively charged protein shell that's produced by a pancreas.
- 27:20Speaker 3: But so many people that have improperly multiplying cells, their
- 27:24Speaker 3: pancreas is not working correctly. And then finally B fifteen
- 27:28Speaker 3: found in brown rice we mentioned that earlier today, also
- 27:31Speaker 3: all the seeds of stone fruits, including the apricot seed.
- 27:35Speaker 3: It's pandamic acid also known as DMG. That's vitamin B
- 27:39Speaker 3: fifteen which helps bring in we have scientific proof twenty
- 27:43Speaker 3: percent more oxygen in your blood and twenty percent more
- 27:46Speaker 3: oxygen in your muscles, and we know that improperly multiplying cells,
- 27:50Speaker 3: those things operate in non aerobic atmospheres. If they have oxygen,
- 27:55Speaker 3: they don't like it. So that's why this scientifically proven
- 27:59Speaker 3: compound coming from brown rice and apricot seeds is very
- 28:03Speaker 3: valuable as part of what we call the trifecta, the
- 28:06Speaker 3: B seventeen, the B fifteen and the pancreatic enzymes. What
- 28:10Speaker 3: my dad said for over six thousand patients was the
- 28:14Speaker 3: key to taking them from bad health to good health.
- 28:17Speaker 3: We believe that together with Eden's Essential, we're bringing you
- 28:20Speaker 3: the absolute best on the market.
