- 0:47Speaker 2: you're a six son of a b I've been hearing
- 0:49Speaker 2: a few things about you'll talk about over the course
- 0:51Speaker 2: of the show. Harris bat.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That's true, that's true, good easy, great cat Man? What
- 0:58Speaker 1: is that a pheasant?
- 1:01Speaker 2: It's a duck. That makes more sense when you do
- 1:04Speaker 2: your duck hunting. No, it's just a hat with a
- 1:07Speaker 2: duck on it. Oh, you had an affinity for ducks man,
- 1:10Speaker 2: Pug Song gave it to me. Cat he's a big
- 1:14Speaker 2: duck guy, I had too many of them.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Well, I tell you what. The combination of your green
- 1:18Speaker 1: duckhead and you're green, you're sort of slightly weird green hoodie,
- 1:22Speaker 1: you're looking sharp man as always. See how was your weekend?
- 1:27Speaker 2: It was great? It was really good.
- 1:28Speaker 5: It was really relaxing, but also the right amount of fun,
- 1:31Speaker 5: the right amount of DIY did a bit of renovations.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Did you do it yourself? Yes?
- 1:36Speaker 5: And with my wife, so she did it. No, no, no,
- 1:40Speaker 5: she was there as well. Die right, okay, cool, do
- 1:43Speaker 5: it ourselves we di ode ah. But yeah, other than
- 1:47Speaker 5: that was great. You look good, by the way, Jay's
- 1:48Speaker 5: really good.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Then your haircut, Oh no, it's the one I had
- 1:52Speaker 1: last week. Oh yeah, it's just really coming into its
- 1:54Speaker 1: sort of shape.
- 1:56Speaker 5: But also it's hard for us to tell because you
- 1:57Speaker 5: go get a haircut and it looks exactly the same anyway,
- 2:00Speaker 5: So I just assume you've got a new haircut.
- 2:02Speaker 1: No, it looks it's it's the same as last week. Easy,
- 2:04Speaker 1: but it is looking good. I agree. Hey, now seeking it.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Speaking of looking really good, how have a showerhead feelers?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm going to speak to old Charlie
- 2:14Speaker 1: Garb about the Worriers.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Sewn Johnson's last game a game.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Great victory for them, and think about the season overall.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I got some father's stage chat.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Yes, of course, of course I need an update on
- 2:25Speaker 5: Mogi's scurvy.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because and and I tried to get Oasis
- 2:30Speaker 2: tickets over the weekend in the UK, so we have
- 2:32Speaker 2: a lot an update there.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Good stuff mate. In the meantime, here's two.
- 2:37Speaker 3: The Whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 2:41Speaker 3: and Keezy List.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Indeed live there on the radio ho Nankee Big Show
- 2:45Speaker 1: this Monday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes past four o'clock.
- 2:48Speaker 1: And I forgot to say at the start of the show,
- 2:50Speaker 1: maggot Monday. Of course, if you want to text us
- 2:52Speaker 1: on three four eight three and name someone for your
- 2:55Speaker 1: Maggot Monday, fill your boots.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's just someone you know who's a mess of megot
- 2:59Speaker 2: you totally.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And now you saiday, of course, Father's Day, Moggie, and
- 3:03Speaker 1: you're a father, that's true. Talk us through your father's day.
- 3:06Speaker 2: You mind your damn business man? Okay, how good? We
- 3:10Speaker 2: just shut up and get on with it, don't we.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Father's man. You don't bang on about it at all,
- 3:15Speaker 2: notice that kesy yeah, man, yeah, man. Well, actually I
- 3:17Speaker 2: had a bit of an interesting one. My wife, wife
- 3:21Speaker 2: jays come on, man, and my daughter, my daughter, and
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't know how much he had to do with it,
- 3:26Speaker 2: if I'm completely honest. They got me a night's accommodation
- 3:31Speaker 2: at a hotel in the city here, So I went
- 3:35Speaker 2: and had a staycation by myself. Yeah, pretty good. It
- 3:40Speaker 2: was so good, man, pretty good. Went on there and
- 3:43Speaker 2: because it went along, had a had a nice bath there. Keysy,
- 3:48Speaker 2: oh yeah, well you just single me out with all
- 3:50Speaker 2: the bells and whistles.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Brother, Oh yeah, yourself up a bit.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Well, this is the thing, man, This is the thing
- 3:57Speaker 2: I find when it comes to the side. Do you
- 3:58Speaker 2: start getting bubbles in there? You can see what's happening downstairs,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Because I'm completely nude in
- 4:03Speaker 2: the acazy, I'm not worried anything. I've got bubbles. How
- 4:07Speaker 2: can I see it? But do you need to see it? Well,
- 4:10Speaker 2: I wouldn't. I want to see it. Say, let me
- 4:13Speaker 2: put it this way. You should see it, all right.
- 4:15Speaker 2: So I had a lovely bath. Just can I just
- 4:17Speaker 2: put it this way?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Quietly?
- 4:19Speaker 2: I'd love to, right, cool, So you had a bath,
- 4:24Speaker 2: very nice, hotel room, very nice. I don't I don't
- 4:27Speaker 2: have huge requirements. I will say, though, there was there
- 4:30Speaker 2: was no way to smoke darts? Right, what's the gats
- 4:33Speaker 2: with that? Aren't you off the darts? I'm off them?
- 4:35Speaker 2: But if I was on, they might be human about it.
- 4:37Speaker 2: But they did have a window that opened up onto
- 4:39Speaker 2: a rooftop, and I thought to myself, well, surely people
- 4:41Speaker 2: go out here for a dat. But I couldn't fit
- 4:42Speaker 2: out the window. Keasy. I didn't have to test it anyway,
- 4:46Speaker 2: just if I was smoking up to myself, well I
- 4:47Speaker 2: might be able to have one out of here, because
- 4:49Speaker 2: it sounds.
- 4:49Speaker 1: When we were down in Wellington just recently, actually, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: was stoked to see that my hotel room had a
- 4:53Speaker 1: little balcony.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Oh beautiful.
- 4:55Speaker 1: That's plenty for old hoodie j That's cool anyway.
- 4:58Speaker 2: So then I The best thing about it was I
- 5:00Speaker 2: was able to sleep the way I sleep, which is
- 5:02Speaker 2: to wake up ten times a night, have a drink
- 5:05Speaker 2: about fifty liters of water, bang around on the table,
- 5:09Speaker 2: you know, pass wind.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yes, that's the joy, isn't it?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Go? And after the tour and that I didn't have
- 5:14Speaker 2: to worry about waking up my wife, which was really nice.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And then I woke up at about five o'clock in
- 5:20Speaker 2: the morning as I am want to do, and I
- 5:22Speaker 2: watched the Warriors replay. Yeah, I jumped on the fire
- 5:25Speaker 2: I jumped on the old phone. There, ordered some breakfast.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Ut they sent up some breakfast. They sent the breakfast Jace,
- 5:31Speaker 2: you'll love this, and they set it up with a toaster,
- 5:36Speaker 2: so you toasted your own toast. Okay, so you could
- 5:39Speaker 2: have fresh toast. Wow, you meant to love this? It
- 5:43Speaker 2: would be hot? Or do you consider that they should
- 5:45Speaker 2: have put the work in. It's a bit lazy.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I prefer they put the work in.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but they must have about five hundred toasters.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah that's.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I've never seen it before. Wow, I was blowing away. Yeah, man,
- 5:58Speaker 2: so did that? Watch the Worries. That was great. Then
- 6:01Speaker 2: I watched the All Blacks. I watched them around the
- 6:03Speaker 2: wrong way, I think anyway. And then I thought I'd
- 6:06Speaker 2: go to the German I'll go I'll go to the
- 6:07Speaker 2: swimming pool. And I thought, you know, it's nice to
- 6:09Speaker 2: get to a hotel, get away from kids. Blah blah, blah, Well,
- 6:11Speaker 2: it was like a kids club in FIGI sure there
- 6:15Speaker 2: was about eight thousand kids in that pool and just
- 6:18Speaker 2: as many adults. So that was sort of the end
- 6:21Speaker 2: of it. And the end. I just sort of went
- 6:22Speaker 2: home on the Sunday, so I still had Father's Day
- 6:25Speaker 2: with my family, which was you know.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Okay, leave it, sure.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah about you? What do you do?
- 6:35Speaker 1: If you want to know what I did, go and
- 6:36Speaker 1: listen to our podcast.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Yeah, and it comes out at seven thirty, does it tonight?
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's so cool? Do you love a Father's Day?
- 6:43Speaker 6: Man?
- 6:44Speaker 7: Oh?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Generally that don't happen in my house. So yeah, but yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 1: I don't like to be made a fuss off. Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know what I mean that sort of seeks me
- 6:52Speaker 1: find it. No one remember remembers it, you know.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you want to know about those days?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Very very big in our house?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yes, causey what I'm getting for my dad? What's that?
- 7:01Speaker 7: Man?
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm seeing him this weekend, so I'm gonna give him
- 7:03Speaker 2: his present.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Then I was going to build you a deer, is
- 7:05Speaker 5: he Well he's going to do that, yeah, but that's unrelated.
- 7:08Speaker 3: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt Mike Minogue.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And Kisy Yes, indeed guns Roses. Of course, the Wire's
- 7:19Speaker 1: last game this weekend, Fellas and all season we've been
- 7:23Speaker 1: speaking to the one and only Charlie gub Ree. The
- 7:27Speaker 1: Worries and Charlie are mad, Barstard, how's life?
- 7:30Speaker 7: No, that's good, brother, Another Monday under the belt.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah, make good on you your backbone. Now listen, Charlie,
- 7:38Speaker 1: let's talk the game. First, great victory for the Fellas.
- 7:42Speaker 1: What were your thoughts?
- 7:45Speaker 7: Oh, I was I was happy. It's kind of put
- 7:47Speaker 7: like a bit of a bright light on the end
- 7:49Speaker 7: of the season. That was pretty underwhelming, just like a
- 7:54Speaker 7: standard Disney movie really, but yeah, Sean's you know, Sean
- 7:59Speaker 7: saved the best for and yeah, it was the right
- 8:03Speaker 7: night to right way to go out for the season.
- 8:07Speaker 7: You know, we can have a bit of face for
- 8:09Speaker 7: next year and build on that. There's nothing worse than
- 8:11Speaker 7: getting pumped in the last game.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, Charlie, get a keyzy here. By the way,
- 8:16Speaker 5: mat I hope you're.
- 8:16Speaker 7: Will Yeatnam well Ki, yes, I know that voice now?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Cool.
- 8:22Speaker 7: So.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Shawn Johnson's last game, obviously, his last game at Mount
- 8:25Speaker 5: Smart Stadium, didn't go exactly to plan. We go and
- 8:28Speaker 5: play the Sharks. We start really well. We keep them scoreless.
- 8:31Speaker 5: This is the top four side. We even open up
- 8:33Speaker 5: the scoring with a sweet little play Shawney Jada Metcalf
- 8:36Speaker 5: there and things are looking exciting. We then massively switch
- 8:39Speaker 5: off the taps for forty minutes and then turn them
- 8:41Speaker 5: on full strength for the last twenty very exciting finish
- 8:45Speaker 5: to the game. Della, what tennis lis vintage performance? Why
- 8:49Speaker 5: can't we do it for eighty minutes, Charlie, even though
- 8:51Speaker 5: it was excellent? I just it really boggles my mind.
- 8:54Speaker 7: Yeah, Kesy, I think you're on the money that you
- 8:58Speaker 7: sun that game up pretty well, actually, But I don't
- 9:01Speaker 7: know why we can't do it everything. Some patches, there's
- 9:03Speaker 7: no just grinding it out for eighty minutes. It's just,
- 9:07Speaker 7: you know, been pretty poor for a twenty minute or
- 9:09Speaker 7: forty minute patch, and then we just come home real strong,
- 9:12Speaker 7: or we start super strong and then come home not
- 9:16Speaker 7: so strong. So I don't know what it is, but
- 9:19Speaker 7: I think it's awesome for Sean to finish a season
- 9:23Speaker 7: like that. But the positive thing is that they can
- 9:26Speaker 7: kind of move on and start planning without them, So
- 9:30Speaker 7: they're going to have their two halves probably Metcalf and
- 9:34Speaker 7: I guess it's tomorrow Martin or Chanal, depending on how
- 9:37Speaker 7: the preseason goes, and then they can build on them
- 9:40Speaker 7: with the backup who's going to be there where Sean
- 9:43Speaker 7: was kind of in and out and I think we
- 9:46Speaker 7: can all agree that things just weren't yelling for those firsts.
- 9:48Speaker 2: When you come down completely agree and I think you
- 9:51Speaker 2: know it's I'm glad that he's made the decision and
- 9:53Speaker 2: just so stoked from that he got to go out
- 9:54Speaker 2: like that. There's last touch outside of missing the conversion
- 10:00Speaker 2: was a try assist. It was a bloody rapper and yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 2: pretty thrilled from and in terms of the season, I
- 10:06Speaker 2: mean it just as one of those you flush it
- 10:07Speaker 2: and you walk away, don't you. There's a bit to
- 10:10Speaker 2: do over the off season. Hopefully can get a couple
- 10:12Speaker 2: of buys. Charlie coming back, Man, you're going to come
- 10:14Speaker 2: back and play brother man.
- 10:17Speaker 7: I'm actually looking for a training trial. Brother. Me and
- 10:19Speaker 7: you need to get on get on the gear together.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I reckon Bright. We can do it. Big off season, man,
- 10:25Speaker 2: big off season, A couple of Charlie gab head.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Ups, get read, go backwards. It will be good. I
- 10:35Speaker 7: do think, I do think it's going to be it's
- 10:38Speaker 7: going to be a massive off season. Obviously, they're going
- 10:40Speaker 7: to do some pretty serious internal reviews over the next
- 10:45Speaker 7: couple of weeks, because even though it finished on a
- 10:48Speaker 7: good note, you can't really be too you know, like
- 10:51Speaker 7: you don't want to have a repeat of what's just happened.
- 10:53Speaker 7: But we're in a good place. We've got great juniors.
- 10:56Speaker 7: We've got Fisher Harris coming, who buy all accounts as
- 10:59Speaker 7: a great leader and fit the standards off the field.
- 11:01Speaker 7: So it'll be interesting. I'm sure we've got a big
- 11:04Speaker 7: name time in coming.
- 11:05Speaker 2: To Yeah, and I hope, so, I really hope we
- 11:07Speaker 2: get one in the havels. But yeah, I mean in
- 11:09Speaker 2: round ten we lost to the Roosters thirty eight eight eight,
- 11:11Speaker 2: and I remember we were in here, Jace Keesy and
- 11:14Speaker 2: I said it was a shoker. We'd had an absolute shocker,
- 11:17Speaker 2: and I said, if we win five more games, the
- 11:18Speaker 2: rest of the season will do well. We won the
- 11:21Speaker 2: next three. We won six games total from round ten.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Right as tough as season as a Warriors fan as
- 11:28Speaker 2: there has been, it was pretty.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Short, well, especially when you consider, you know what the
- 11:33Speaker 1: start of the season was like and everyone was hot
- 11:36Speaker 1: and there was whaf either gone does It is kind
- 11:39Speaker 1: of disappointing at the end of the day, Charlie.
- 11:42Speaker 7: It is disappointing. But that professional sport as being.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I know I know about you know,
- 11:52Speaker 1: professional sport, not so much the losing part.
- 11:55Speaker 7: Yeah, you know about the drugs in our ch.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Charlie cub for the final time this year, mate, would
- 12:03Speaker 5: you like to give us your Porter King Player of
- 12:06Speaker 5: the Game.
- 12:08Speaker 7: I'm going to give it to Shawney Jason and yeah
- 12:13Speaker 7: he's But before I go, who do you? Who do you? Guys?
- 12:16Speaker 7: Reckon is going to get in trouble the soft season.
- 12:18Speaker 7: I'm talking about it. He doesn't know, he said he's
- 12:21Speaker 7: too new. But I'll leave it to you boys.
- 12:24Speaker 2: You Reckon one of the Warriors.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Someone's got it.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, the Warriors normally go pretty good. There'll be there'll
- 12:31Speaker 2: be somebody across the world at n R L.
- 12:35Speaker 7: O.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Who's the usual suspects what It'll be interesting to see
- 12:40Speaker 2: how Jazz goes when he gets over to I'm not
- 12:42Speaker 2: too sure which clubb he's signed. He has been signed,
- 12:45Speaker 2: hasn't announced it. Yeah, okay, so that'll be coming up. Yeah,
- 12:49Speaker 2: I don't know, man, you've got some inside goss on
- 12:50Speaker 2: that one.
- 12:53Speaker 7: I don't know. Maybe i'd love that. I'd love to
- 12:57Speaker 7: be much barn in a better rackets.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Oh yes, yeah, I'd love to see that.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Hey, Charlie, listen, mate, we appreciate you joining us all
- 13:05Speaker 1: season and love your insight and let's do it again
- 13:08Speaker 1: next year if we still have a job.
- 13:10Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, by all accounts a couple of you will,
- 13:13Speaker 7: so hopefully hopefully we're back on again next year. But
- 13:17Speaker 7: it's been awesome fellas, and the business is just we're
- 13:19Speaker 7: this center being in a real refreshion. So it's been
- 13:21Speaker 7: great talking to you.
- 13:24Speaker 5: And don't forget if you're in Wellington you need a
- 13:25Speaker 5: portlo hit up Porter King and Charlie gub will make
- 13:28Speaker 5: sure that you get the best quality portaloo on the business.
- 13:30Speaker 2: And we might just get your back for the final
- 13:32Speaker 2: series as well. Mate.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, good on your Charlie led You have a
- 13:38Speaker 1: great day, mate.
- 13:40Speaker 8: Lucky Big Show podcastes indeed the food fighters there on
- 13:44Speaker 8: the radio hod Aky Big Show this Monday afternoon and fellas,
- 13:48Speaker 8: as you know, I went to the family batch over
- 13:50Speaker 8: the weekend and to be honest with you, I'm pretty
- 13:53Speaker 8: lucky to be here today.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I had a bit of a bit of
- 13:58Speaker 1: an encounter. I guess you'd call it a on the
- 14:00Speaker 1: old Monaco Harbor.
- 14:01Speaker 2: There, strange encounter of the hoidy variety.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Well, I guess it was strange in a way, not unexpected.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I've always sort of anticipated that this might might happen.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm a pretty prolific swimmer when I'm at the batch,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and of course a lot of sting ray there mogi,
- 14:15Speaker 1: so I sort of felt like one day, you know,
- 14:19Speaker 1: what happened to me could happen. So not that surprising, right, Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 1: So I went for a song on this Saturday morning,
- 14:25Speaker 1: pretty chilly, actually it's quite cool.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Did it bug you that it was chili?
- 14:29Speaker 1: No? Yes?
- 14:30Speaker 6: Well bugging.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Um and I wash. I guess i'd probably had about
- 14:39Speaker 1: a mile really, and I found a little sort of
- 14:43Speaker 1: tap tap and then douge the world went black, and
- 14:47Speaker 1: I went, might't you go black?
- 14:50Speaker 2: It's often difficult to go back, isn't it?
- 14:53Speaker 1: Apparently?
- 14:53Speaker 2: So yeah, especially when you're a mile out, absolutely man,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and being the sort of experienced sort of maritime person
- 15:04Speaker 2: that I am, I immediately knew what had happened and I.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Was attacked by a stingray.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And of course people that are familiar with stingray will
- 15:13Speaker 1: know about the old stingray death roll and the reason
- 15:17Speaker 1: that everyone everything went black is the way that stingrays
- 15:21Speaker 1: actually hunt is of course, they've got their massive wings
- 15:25Speaker 1: and they set upon their prey and they basically wrap
- 15:29Speaker 1: their rings around the prey and essentially form a cocoon
- 15:37Speaker 1: a tom So you're like you're in a sort of
- 15:40Speaker 1: roll up situation.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Sarcophagus.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, like a sarcophagus similar actually casey, because people that
- 15:45Speaker 1: are familiar with stingrays also know they don't have a mouth,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and so the way that they absorb or feed themselves
- 15:57Speaker 1: is to get their prey and a death wrap and
- 16:01Speaker 1: then they sink to the bottom of the ocean and
- 16:04Speaker 1: just sit there for about a week and then just
- 16:09Speaker 1: basically suckle the nutrients and juices out of you and
- 16:13Speaker 1: absorb it into their body. Yeah, well that's what I mean.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It's true. The skin keysy, they literally absorb you and
- 16:20Speaker 1: slowly break you down into a sort of suitol Man, No.
- 16:26Speaker 5: I was taught that they have a sting and they're
- 16:28Speaker 5: largely pretty friendly and that they definitely have a mouth,
- 16:31Speaker 5: as I was taught weird.
- 16:38Speaker 1: But anyway, so I immediately recognized what was happening. And
- 16:42Speaker 1: fortunately at the moment, I've been working hard on the
- 16:44Speaker 1: boxing at the gym, and so I was in there
- 16:47Speaker 1: just doo doo doo do. So he wrapped up, He
- 16:50Speaker 1: wrapped me up and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Wow.
- 16:53Speaker 1: And so I just started boxing away there using it
- 16:58Speaker 1: was like I was back in the cage, but my knees.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I think I'd been under the water probably ten or
- 17:04Speaker 1: fifteen minutes at that point.
- 17:06Speaker 2: How did you stay down that long with that drowning.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Well, the amazing thing about the sting ray death roll
- 17:10Speaker 1: keysy is that it creates an air pocket.
- 17:13Speaker 5: And so I came up, caught you and ear yes,
- 17:16Speaker 5: and the whole lot down, whole lot down there without
- 17:19Speaker 5: float okay, and so yeah, just to doocee de douce
- 17:22Speaker 5: de douch.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Events obviously had an effect because it just released Yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 1: an old hoody jay swam to the city. It's probably
- 17:30Speaker 1: about forty meters.
- 17:31Speaker 2: He took me down right, swa equalize.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, blew up the old ear drums there
- 17:37Speaker 1: because it's you know, it was potentially I could have
- 17:41Speaker 1: ended up like so many people. Like if you go
- 17:44Speaker 1: along a beach at high tide, sometimes you'll see an
- 17:46Speaker 1: expired stingray, yes, and they'll be in that sort of
- 17:50Speaker 1: coil formation. If you open them up, you'll find a
- 17:53Speaker 1: full human skeleton speaking so gnarly way.
- 18:00Speaker 2: People that they have disappeared. Yeah, there you go. Generally
- 18:03Speaker 2: it's a sting ray, yes, and that can be from anywhere.
- 18:07Speaker 2: They can be around the ocean, the beaches, anything like that,
- 18:09Speaker 2: or inland as well. They come inland, are you well
- 18:12Speaker 2: if you're if you.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Justcaped it a walking on the beach and you see
- 18:14Speaker 1: like a human skeleton washer, I immediately think scal sing.
- 18:18Speaker 2: So the whole skeleton washes up all together?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yeah, one piece?
- 18:23Speaker 5: Oh right, because they'll be disconnected. I just googled so this,
- 18:26Speaker 5: I just googled it. No, it says that they have
- 18:28Speaker 5: mouths under their bodies. So that's obviously wrong, right, So
- 18:30Speaker 5: I should.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Look what breed is that very thing?
- 18:34Speaker 6: Oh?
- 18:34Speaker 2: That just says a New Zealand sting ray.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Yeah, one of them. That's rights many different types. Yeah, okay,
- 18:40Speaker 5: far that is terrifying. Yeah, man, I'm so glad you're here.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Got a bit of a rash, but that's that's all
- 18:46Speaker 1: made adobies itch flare up a bit. Yeah, yeah, because
- 18:48Speaker 1: I like to swim nude too. I don't know if
- 18:50Speaker 1: I mentioned that.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah, now you did it. Kind of wish you had.
- 18:56Speaker 1: There's a red Hot Chili Rivers.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.

- 19:19Speaker 1: to tell us all about it.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Is that really content?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Totally? You put it in the chat.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah true.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Also sport chat, that's sport over the weekend. Get into
- 19:31Speaker 1: a bit of rugby chat.

- 19:35Speaker 5: of Paralympics action as well, so we could do some

- 19:40Speaker 5: keep an air out for the twenty five Grand Fiddler.

- 19:53Speaker 5: could happen at any moment, particularly if.

- 20:58Speaker 5: Jay's great question well, it says here obviously every day
- 21:01Speaker 5: for the fifty Barasta made coffee, and it also says
- 21:05Speaker 5: here that's a hell of a caffeine fixed. Yes, but
- 21:08Speaker 5: it also says today's night and Day special is actually
- 21:11Speaker 5: a Mogi special.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah. So basically it's rice and chicken and.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Dry plain non skinned chicken that's been dried out.
- 21:23Speaker 5: And they can microwave that for you if you want
- 21:25Speaker 5: right overnight oats like a smoothie with some Kiwi fruit
- 21:30Speaker 5: in it, but that's it, some tofu and a protein
- 21:34Speaker 5: bars that it's twelve ninety nine. It's called a Moggi
- 21:39Speaker 5: Scurvy Special special.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yes, that's right, speaking of which you will be having
- 21:43Speaker 1: a scurvy update to see where Mogi's up with that.
- 21:46Speaker 5: If anyone's just joined us, by the way, Moogy's got scurvy,
- 21:49Speaker 5: well we'll talk about it.

- 21:59Speaker 1: Zealand and the Meat Time here Sound Garden.
- 22:01Speaker 3: For Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 22:06Speaker 1: He's indeed Stone Temple pilots there on the Radio Hodaki
- 22:09Speaker 1: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is eleven minutes
- 22:12Speaker 1: past five o'clock and all as well.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Can I just say, man, I've been looking forward to this.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Same. There's a major announcement that Keys He's going
- 22:20Speaker 1: to be making today and so we thought we'd give
- 22:22Speaker 1: it the Primes slot on the show.
- 22:28Speaker 5: This is breaking news, fellas, huge news in the Kezy household.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I've opened another account. Oh h big account, Kezy
- 22:39Speaker 2: they call them. They actually do call me that.
- 22:41Speaker 5: So people that don't know, and I don't know why
- 22:43Speaker 5: this is breaking news actually, but well.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It's pretty bloody significant. I know how important your accounts.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Are to you, Keezy. Yeah, they're really important to me, Jason.
- 22:53Speaker 2: People that don't know.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Like maybe two months ago, my wife and I sat
- 22:56Speaker 5: down and did like a full accounting scheme with our banking.
- 23:00Speaker 5: So now so now we've got like, you know, special
- 23:03Speaker 5: accounts for our bills to come out of, special accounts
- 23:06Speaker 5: where you save money. Every time we get paid a
- 23:07Speaker 5: suit savings.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That's a week, it's a week, call it. That's a
- 23:12Speaker 2: good idea.
- 23:12Speaker 5: We've got another account called holidays for save up for
- 23:15Speaker 5: our holidays savings as well. Then we put that in
- 23:20Speaker 5: a different account, and then it's like, once we've got enough,
- 23:23Speaker 5: we can go on a holiday. God, you've got a
- 23:24Speaker 5: lot of fee bank fees you get in there, but
- 23:26Speaker 5: all good. Yeah, yeah, no, they're all included.
- 23:28Speaker 2: It's all good.
- 23:30Speaker 5: So I've got a new account. And after much we
- 23:32Speaker 5: had a meeting last night, my wife and I and
- 23:34Speaker 5: I've a flat meeting. Yeah, there's only two of us
- 23:38Speaker 5: in the house. It was a flat meeting.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Who calls for those?
- 23:40Speaker 5: I called for this one. And I've got a new account.
- 23:43Speaker 5: It's called motorbike account, which I'm just gonna give myself
- 23:47Speaker 5: one of these because for a number of weeks now,
- 23:52Speaker 5: I've just I've been trying to convince my wife that
- 23:54Speaker 5: I shouldn't have We're trying to convince you that I
- 24:05Speaker 5: should have a motorbike, a vintage motorbike.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Something I'm passionate about it. She finally said, all right,
- 24:09Speaker 2: here's how we're going to do it. We sat down
- 24:10Speaker 2: and told you how it was going to be.
- 24:12Speaker 5: She had thought about it, you know, because we've got
- 24:13Speaker 5: joint incomes, and all of a sudden, I want to
- 24:15Speaker 5: take away a whole lot of that for my own
- 24:16Speaker 5: personal little project and joyah. So the idea we've set
- 24:19Speaker 5: up a motorbike account and a motorbike safety account. So
- 24:24Speaker 5: the motorbike we got two account, that's right, And of
- 24:26Speaker 5: course I've got my fun account, yes, so every.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Week account, the savings account, yeah, but and the bills account.
- 24:32Speaker 2: That's right.
- 24:33Speaker 5: In my fun account currently is where I get to
- 24:35Speaker 5: have fun like Beersi's out for Dindan's and now I've
- 24:39Speaker 5: got a motorbike account and every time I get additional
- 24:42Speaker 5: income one hateh for that goes into my motorbike account
- 24:46Speaker 5: one eighth.
- 24:48Speaker 1: So no, hang on, what are you planning to buy?
- 24:50Speaker 1: There's twenty fifty so what one eighth?
- 24:55Speaker 7: To my.
- 24:57Speaker 2: How good has it been? Married? Keysy? It's so great.
- 24:59Speaker 5: So then you've got the motorbike safety account because she's like, look,
- 25:02Speaker 5: I don't want you out on a motorbike without a helmet,
- 25:05Speaker 5: so I have to save up for that.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Isn't that because.
- 25:08Speaker 2: That when they're not coming out of the same account.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to say, count that just be
- 25:11Speaker 1: the motorbike account.
- 25:12Speaker 2: A motorbike this is a motorbike safety but how much
- 25:15Speaker 2: money do you need to save for a helmet? Going
- 25:17Speaker 2: to be an open face because you won't get anything
- 25:19Speaker 2: over your messive honkers.
- 25:20Speaker 5: So that is exactly what I'm getting, an open face one.
- 25:24Speaker 5: So one quarter of my additional earnings goes into the
- 25:27Speaker 5: motorbike safety account.
- 25:28Speaker 2: So you're going to get you're going to be able
- 25:30Speaker 2: to buy the safety gear twice as fast as you're
- 25:33Speaker 2: going to be able to buy a motorbike. You can,
- 25:35Speaker 2: and it's and it's cheaper. All you have to do
- 25:38Speaker 2: is buy a helmet yeah, okay, maybe some leathers. I
- 25:41Speaker 2: don't know about your lezards. And then I'll.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Also and then we've got and then also for things
- 25:45Speaker 5: like registration, you know, and insurance and stuff. So we've
- 25:48Speaker 5: set up a miscellaneous motorbike account, which is where and
- 25:52Speaker 5: that's going to be not obviously a miscellaneous motorbike account,
- 25:56Speaker 5: and that pays for like insurances and ridge thos and
- 25:58Speaker 5: stuff like that, and in between those, eventually I'll be
- 26:01Speaker 5: able to finally start saving up for this motorbike. Yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 5: so I'm pretty excited, fellas. It's gonna be great. And
- 26:10Speaker 5: then of course any petrol because it's riding a motorbike's
- 26:13Speaker 5: fun that comes out of my phone account.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but if.
- 26:17Speaker 5: We take my motorbike on holiday, like I convincedly go
- 26:19Speaker 5: on holiday with it a holiday account now that comes
- 26:22Speaker 5: out of motorbike miscellaneous. Yeah, because it's the sort of
- 26:25Speaker 5: miscellaneous use of the motibile.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm just really excited to finally become a biky.
- 26:31Speaker 2: You know.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Ye when you say vintage, yeah, who means shit?
- 26:36Speaker 2: Yeah? What I mean?
- 26:38Speaker 1: What time period are we talking when you say vintage?
- 26:41Speaker 5: From when you're a boy? So like nineteen eighties, nineties,
- 26:48Speaker 5: early seventies.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I bet there's about a thousand people out there who
- 26:54Speaker 2: have just heard that and they're now just going to
- 26:56Speaker 2: sell the motorbike.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Well, if they are selling it, give me like ten
- 27:01Speaker 5: years and I'll fight it off you.
- 27:03Speaker 3: The Hierarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 27:06Speaker 3: in four on.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Radiolucky definitelyp there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 27:12Speaker 1: Monday afternoon. The time is exactly twenty three minutes past
- 27:16Speaker 1: five o'clock. But a sporting action over the weekend. Let's
- 27:19Speaker 1: talk some rugby union.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Crouch touch pause, engage rugby union chat with Weidy Jes.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Indeed, of course, the All Black's over in South Africa.
- 27:35Speaker 1: What's the Test match live? Mogi. My wife and I went,
- 27:38Speaker 1: let's do it at three o'clock. Let's let's like get
- 27:41Speaker 1: the old excitement back, because she quite enjoys doing that too.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Suh As predicted the South Africans prevailing. Look, I've got
- 27:50Speaker 1: to say the All Blacks probably took their chances. They
- 27:53Speaker 1: played pretty well for the first fifty minutes and then
- 27:56Speaker 1: basically didn't fall apart, but they had the life squeezed
- 28:00Speaker 1: out of them by the South Africans. They got trapped
- 28:04Speaker 1: in their own half. The bench substitutions hugely in favor
- 28:11Speaker 1: of South Africa. We had quite a few inexperienced bench
- 28:14Speaker 1: players coming on who gave away stupid penalties. Then we
- 28:18Speaker 1: lost a man because of all the pressure and all
- 28:19Speaker 1: the penalties we were giving away. So in the end,
- 28:24Speaker 1: South Africa deserved victors. And it's interesting, you know, we
- 28:28Speaker 1: used to talk about the All Blacks being the side
- 28:30Speaker 1: that would not play that well but still win the
- 28:33Speaker 1: Test match. That's where South Africa is now. They didn't
- 28:36Speaker 1: play well for probably fifty minutes and we really took
- 28:39Speaker 1: it to them, but they squeezed the life out of
- 28:42Speaker 1: us and we deserved victims.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I completely agree with you. I don't think they played
- 28:45Speaker 2: very well and I thought we did play well. We did,
- 28:48Speaker 2: and then yeah, ultimately, I mean I thought the bench
- 28:51Speaker 2: came on and I didn't think they made a hell
- 28:53Speaker 2: of a lot of a difference, to be honest. I
- 28:55Speaker 2: thought the change came when our bench came on. Yes,
- 28:57Speaker 2: and then there was significant just more penalties given way
- 29:00Speaker 2: and that had accumulated across the game where the ref
- 29:02Speaker 2: had had enough of it, which ultimately led to the binning. Yes,
- 29:05Speaker 2: but I think it was a penalty account was fifteen
- 29:07Speaker 2: to four or fourteen to five or something like that.
- 29:09Speaker 2: It's hard to win a Test match against South Africa
- 29:12Speaker 2: over there. I really enjoyed the game. It's a good
- 29:13Speaker 2: game and we're not far off. But yeah, you're right.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I think South Africa players as good as they can.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I think we'll be in trouble. But yeah, a bloody
- 29:20Speaker 2: good test match. Really enjoyed it.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Can I just say because I watched the game as well,
- 29:22Speaker 5: but I waited and just watched it when I woke
- 29:24Speaker 5: up on the Sunday. There all of our tries, you know,
- 29:28Speaker 5: a few Ford Pack tries and stuff, but they were
- 29:30Speaker 5: really excited. Yeah, it was to Caleb Clark, it was.
- 29:33Speaker 2: It was very exciting for the creating space, breaking the line.
- 29:38Speaker 2: It wasn't the traditional spring Bots offense which was pregnable. Yes, yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I thought we looked awesome. So there's plenty of build
- 29:45Speaker 2: on there.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Our Clark was at its very best. That try with
- 29:49Speaker 1: all the players we're doing the dummy passes was so.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Good, wasn't it.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Obviously that try that they scored, which is a clear
- 29:58Speaker 5: knock on, was a massive debacle as usual.
- 30:00Speaker 1: But listen, scarily, there's sort of rumors going around at
- 30:05Speaker 1: the moment that the South African is going to make
- 30:06Speaker 1: massive changes for their second for the second test, and
- 30:10Speaker 1: if you're hearing that, man, if they did do just there,
- 30:13Speaker 1: then you know she's looking a bit.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Grim, is she? Yeah?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Now, also at the moment the Paralympics are on, are
- 30:21Speaker 1: really enjoying that. Have we got a bit of a
- 30:23Speaker 1: metal table update there? Keeezy, little big show middle Telly update.
- 30:34Speaker 2: We are back to Paris. I've missed this music.
- 30:36Speaker 5: Actually, New Zealand doing pretty well on the old medal
- 30:39Speaker 5: count there, so obviously up in first place.
- 30:41Speaker 2: You've got China.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Yeah, thirty three golds twenty seven silvers, eleven bronze for
- 30:46Speaker 5: a total of seventy one New Zealand becoming at forty
- 30:51Speaker 5: eighth two silvers and one bronze. We've got three medals,
- 30:55Speaker 5: but overnight, Ait Hison, she is our sprinter. She's set
- 30:59Speaker 5: a Paralympic records and it eventually came second to China
- 31:03Speaker 5: who took the gold. And the reason they took it
- 31:05Speaker 5: is because they broke a Paralympic record after she did.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Really, so she was just pepped at the post there.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Plus Nicole Murray also got a bronze medal in the
- 31:13Speaker 5: cycling as well.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You were saying, Maggie, you were really enjoying the fencing.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Fencing's bloody good. Actually, just on Nicole Murray there. I
- 31:21Speaker 2: think that's the first medal we've got in cycling at
- 31:24Speaker 2: the Paralympics, because I think she got fourth last year.
- 31:26Speaker 2: We've got quite a lot last year. We've got a
- 31:29Speaker 2: long and storied history in the cite. And of course
- 31:31Speaker 2: don't we, Jason, mate, the fencing is bloody good. I like, yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 2: I just I love watching all of.
- 31:37Speaker 5: It, all those sports that you just never see unless
- 31:39Speaker 5: you're watching the Olympics.
- 31:40Speaker 2: That's all the Paralympics see a lot of fencing kezy obviously,
- 31:43Speaker 2: and as a matter of fact, we should have that
- 31:45Speaker 2: on our list of things that should be in the
- 31:47Speaker 2: Olympics to replace the stupid sports they've got in there now, fencing,
- 31:51Speaker 2: like if you're on a farm.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Actual What have you been enjoying the most keesy?

- 32:13Speaker 2: we're to begin I'm not gonna start ranking them one
- 32:15Speaker 2: after the other, MOGI now it's okay top five swimming.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Swimming is always good, though, isn't it. That's a staple.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I've tracked you the cycle any time to getting a
- 32:25Speaker 2: middle and that's a that's bloody good stuff. So it
- 32:27Speaker 2: was great.
- 32:28Speaker 5: I was really excited to watch the triathlon and then
- 32:30Speaker 5: there was poosing the scene in again was because it
- 32:33Speaker 5: had rained the night before again, so.
- 32:35Speaker 2: They're still poos there.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Ah, mid Yeah, so those are probably my favorite five
- 32:40Speaker 5: R lested five A.
- 32:41Speaker 2: It's got us some ads the.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Whole Achy Big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 32:47Speaker 1: And indeed Royal Blood there on the radio Hodarchy Big
- 32:51Speaker 1: Show this Monday afternoon. Old Pugsam coming came into the
- 32:54Speaker 1: studio there telling us about his massive weekend. He's party boy,
- 32:59Speaker 1: isn't he he is? He's going hard, real hard. Hey.
- 33:04Speaker 1: But in the meantime it's time for some Captain Edmund.
- 33:09Speaker 5: As It's time for Captain edmind is it. It's actually
- 33:15Speaker 5: really exciting. It's not just Edmund Fellers, it's bloody exciting
- 33:18Speaker 5: of course. Manuka Doctor are presenting Nyuka v. Caparello. David
- 33:23Speaker 5: Nuka good looking man. That's right, he's a boxer Jace.
- 33:26Speaker 5: That is going to be live on dezone dot com
- 33:28Speaker 5: spelled d az in dot com by the way, if
- 33:31Speaker 5: you're keen to live stream it. However, this is happening
- 33:34Speaker 5: the fourteenth of September, just a couple of weeks away
- 33:36Speaker 5: at the Viaduct Events Center. We've got a Backbone table
- 33:40Speaker 5: we do indeed, if we do that is a table
- 33:42Speaker 5: with Jas and Mike there I'm away. Unfortunately for the
- 33:45Speaker 5: listeners but there is a spear two seats next to you.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Guys in the formal area. We're talking free food, free drinks.
- 33:51Speaker 5: You have to dress formally and sit at the backbone table.
- 33:54Speaker 5: If you are keen to be a part of that
- 33:56Speaker 5: text the word fight to three four eight three right
- 33:58Speaker 5: now you'll get a link in the Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Awesome, really looking forward to that.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Actually, Mogie, I've never been to a live fight before,
- 34:05Speaker 1: so I'm intrigued to sort of get the vibes, sort
- 34:08Speaker 1: of the feeling the atmosphere.
- 34:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Same, he will start a brawling the crowd as well.
- 34:12Speaker 2: That's always a good time.
- 34:13Speaker 7: Man.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Of course, hes done, brother, Yeah, no, no worry, Hey, fellas.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Over the weekend tickets for the Oasis tour went on.
- 34:19Speaker 2: So year about that. Man, they're getting back together. I did, okay,
- 34:23Speaker 2: And so they're doing about. They're doing about I think
- 34:26Speaker 2: it's at fourteen gigs or something like that. They've announced
- 34:30Speaker 2: across the UK, seventeen dates. I tell a lie, and
- 34:34Speaker 2: I had a made of mind that jumped online and
- 34:35Speaker 2: tried to get tickets. I thought, well, if we get tickets,
- 34:38Speaker 2: it'll be pretty good.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Yes.
- 34:41Speaker 2: So anyway, he jumps on there, he gives me a
- 34:43Speaker 2: little ring there and there. I Am going to go
- 34:46Speaker 2: and see Oasis at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, the third
- 34:51Speaker 2: of August twenty twenty five. It will be their last
- 34:55Speaker 2: gig at Wembley Stadium, so just going to pop it
- 34:58Speaker 2: on there for that. Pretty excited about it. How how
- 35:00Speaker 2: good I'm going? Man? Yeah, isn't Wembley like in London?
- 35:05Speaker 2: It's in London Town. It's a it's quite a long flight. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 2: you'll be asleep most of the time or hammered responsibly.
- 35:12Speaker 2: And is that on the weekend you'll be back on
- 35:14Speaker 2: that's on a Sunday there on the Monday. Yeah, I'll
- 35:16Speaker 2: be back on the Monday there and yeah. So pretty
- 35:18Speaker 2: excited and pretty reason why. It's like three hundred and
- 35:20Speaker 2: fifty bucks for the ticket, which is fine, but I'm
- 35:23Speaker 2: a big fan obviously. Wembley is a storied stadium that's
- 35:27Speaker 2: seen a hell a lot of gigs, including live aid
- 35:30Speaker 2: Jason's one of the biggest. Yes, Queen at Wembley is
- 35:34Speaker 2: one of my favorite concert movies. Watched that a lot
- 35:38Speaker 2: on the old YouTube there. So yeah, bloody thrilled about that.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Bloody thrilled do you put that on when you're steamed. Yes,
- 35:46Speaker 2: it's not often you put that on sober. Yeah, that's insane.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So yeah, well you you want someone to come with
- 35:52Speaker 1: you mate look after you.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Well, I've got someone coming with me. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Have you got any tickets? Tickets?
- 35:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but your mate could probably get an other one.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean it's sold out. I should point
- 36:02Speaker 2: that out. Ah right, it had sold out. They had
- 36:07Speaker 2: just over one million tickets available and fourteen million people
- 36:12Speaker 2: trying to buy them.
- 36:12Speaker 7: Wow.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Wow, so that's like fourteen tickets each. That's that would
- 36:16Speaker 2: be not enough, right, and then people are online complaining
- 36:18Speaker 2: that they couldn't get tickets as Keesy and Pugsy shere
- 36:23Speaker 2: a little smile. No, it's all right, it's all good.
- 36:26Speaker 2: But people were online complaining that they got to get
- 36:29Speaker 2: tickets like that's weird, right, you know it's like, yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 2: lots of people want to go and there's only X
- 36:33Speaker 2: amount of tickets. That's kind of how it works. Yeah yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 2: so it'll be bloody good. So anyway, I going to take.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Next year off fear enough for me? What if to
- 36:41Speaker 1: build that for you? You know, anyone been to a
- 36:44Speaker 1: cover from it.
- 36:44Speaker 2: So obviously there.
- 36:46Speaker 5: The talk was that they're going to do this initial tour,
- 36:48Speaker 5: see how it goes, and if it goes well, do
- 36:49Speaker 5: a world tour.
- 36:50Speaker 2: What if.
- 36:51Speaker 5: They then announced, as we were joking about last week,
- 36:53Speaker 5: that they're actually going to be Oasis at the Victoria
- 36:56Speaker 5: Park here in Auckland, just down the road and you
- 36:57Speaker 5: didn't have to travel all the way over there to Wembley.
- 37:00Speaker 2: As amazing as it will be to see Oasis at
- 37:03Speaker 2: Eden Park, yeah, seeing him at Wembley might be a
- 37:06Speaker 2: bit better, said Victoria Park, which is even worse. Yeah
- 37:13Speaker 2: around there, fellas Hey.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Speaking of great tunes, here's Kings of Leon.

- 47:59Speaker 5: it was because I'm one of the guys who's like,
- 48:02Speaker 5: I know that Oasis are good, but I don't understand
- 48:05Speaker 5: the hype.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:06Speaker 5: So, And to be honest, I went down a big
- 48:08Speaker 5: YouTube rabbit hole of watching them perform in the nineties
- 48:10Speaker 5: and realizing how many amazing songs they actually do have,
- 48:12Speaker 5: and it's like, Okay, it's actually pretty crazy.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Started watching the DOCCO. It's cool.
- 48:17Speaker 5: It's amazing how they started out, like the early stuff
- 48:20Speaker 5: is very interesting, and for them to go from nobody's
- 48:23Speaker 5: to performing in that massive concert and three years less
- 48:26Speaker 5: than three years is amazing. I just don't like the
- 48:29Speaker 5: style of DOCCO where you can't see anyone talking right
- 48:32Speaker 5: and it's all artsy, grainy footage yep. I just want
- 48:35Speaker 5: to see actual footage of them HD. Yeah, but that
- 48:40Speaker 5: even the stuff that they had, they'd put like weird
- 48:42Speaker 5: e fix and stuff on to make it all. But
- 48:44Speaker 5: it doesn't need to be artsy because it's so cool
- 48:46Speaker 5: and retro.
- 48:47Speaker 1: There's nothing that annoys me more when I'm watching something
- 48:49Speaker 1: where you feel like you're on a ship in the ocean.
- 48:52Speaker 1: And it's rocking and rolling all over the place.
- 48:54Speaker 2: And it's a bit like that.
- 48:55Speaker 5: And also you'd never see anyone who's speaking, it's their
- 48:58Speaker 5: voice is over footage. For some reason, I want to
- 49:01Speaker 5: see Liam Gallagher sitting there talking about how much of.
- 49:03Speaker 2: An if his brother is and vice versa.
- 49:06Speaker 1: That.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but the story is amazing and the songs are great. Yeah,
- 49:10Speaker 2: they're all right. And I'm on the train now weave
- 49:12Speaker 2: it on the train, I reckon. Yeah, it's a good trade.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Did you get all the way through?
- 49:14Speaker 5: And have you got a quarter the way through? And
- 49:17Speaker 5: my wife was like, this is boring. I don't understand
- 49:18Speaker 5: any of it because it's hard to understand. I can't
- 49:21Speaker 5: see people talking. And she just couldn't buy into it
- 49:23Speaker 5: right because she just I think it gives better as
- 49:26Speaker 5: it goes on as well. You get to know more
- 49:28Speaker 5: about their upbringing and stuff. Yeah, I finished watching it.
- 49:32Speaker 5: It's a ripper.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll definitely finish watching it.
- 49:34Speaker 9: Solo good stuff, good stuff, A Brewer of the Day
- 49:40Speaker 9: to Little Brewery.
- 49:44Speaker 6: The.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Whole Arky Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 49:50Speaker 3: Hurdarkey on Jovi.
- 49:51Speaker 1: There on the Radio Hodkey Big Show. This Monday, evening.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Now listen or were you tattoo enthusiasts, You need to
- 49:57Speaker 1: listen up because old admind boys.
- 50:01Speaker 2: I'm not Edmond. No, now I have to play the admins.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you do.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Get a captain edmind here. It is pretty exciting.
- 50:13Speaker 5: Tartanaki has got one of the biggest tattoo and art
- 50:16Speaker 5: festivals in the Southern Hemisphere.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:18Speaker 5: Man, we've been down there before to promote it and
- 50:22Speaker 5: this time it's actually aligning. So it's going to be
- 50:23Speaker 5: happening at TSP Stadium in New Plymouth two hundred and
- 50:26Speaker 5: fifty of the world's best tattoo artists on the twenty
- 50:28Speaker 5: third and twenty fourth of November. There's going to be
- 50:31Speaker 5: freestyle motocross shows, BMX shows. John Tuga is going to
- 50:34Speaker 5: be their headlining on the music stage, and we've got
- 50:37Speaker 5: a chance for you and a mate to win a
- 50:39Speaker 5: trip from anywhere in New Zealand to New Plymouth for
- 50:42Speaker 5: the festival with flights, a night at the Novertowel, tickets
- 50:45Speaker 5: and a five hundred dollars tattoo vouched.
- 50:47Speaker 1: The top up. Have you got any TETs Maye.
- 50:51Speaker 2: No, I don't know. Okay, is it time to get
- 50:53Speaker 2: some tatoos to get to it.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I remember at one stage you were considering is it
- 50:57Speaker 1: called a sleeve?
- 50:59Speaker 2: No, you were tattooing your sleeve. I was what you're
- 51:03Speaker 2: getting your sleeve tattooed?
- 51:04Speaker 7: Oh was yeah?
- 51:05Speaker 2: Yes, I don't have to wear clothes anymore. I just
- 51:07Speaker 2: looked like I was wearing a shit, that's right now.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I always loved the idea of it, but I could
- 51:11Speaker 2: never settle on anything sure, and so I never did.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I reckon go full tribal tats. Well, that was what
- 51:16Speaker 2: my mates. That's what my mates did back in the day,
- 51:19Speaker 2: and so I'm glad I didn't do.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Anyone's done that, you know what I mean?
- 51:22Speaker 2: Would you?
- 51:22Speaker 1: What about a portrait of me?
- 51:26Speaker 2: Not you? I don't know. But I quite like the
- 51:30Speaker 2: new style where it's like you don't have to be
- 51:32Speaker 2: good at tattooing. Everyone could just do tattoos. Now. You
- 51:35Speaker 2: sure like art like Pugs's tats. Yeah, it could just
- 51:38Speaker 2: be like any old any old garbage. You know, if
- 51:42Speaker 2: you know how to do doodle, you know you can
- 51:46Speaker 2: pretty much. Yeah, exactly. In fact of it, it does look good.
- 51:51Speaker 2: It counts against you, but you just got to wear
- 51:52Speaker 2: lots of different things. Lots of different tattoos that don't
- 51:55Speaker 2: sort of mean anything, sure, and they don't match or
- 51:59Speaker 2: sort of work.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you were saying keasy that you would, but you've
- 52:05Speaker 1: got really sensitive skin and you tend to break out, Yeah,
- 52:09Speaker 1: to break out with all the old X ME and stuff.
- 52:11Speaker 5: One of the things I really wanted was to get
- 52:12Speaker 5: behind my knees, right, and I just can't. But it's
- 52:16Speaker 5: so thinly with the thought of the needle going there,
- 52:18Speaker 5: just it breaks out.
- 52:20Speaker 2: That would be a hell of a place to get
- 52:21Speaker 2: a tetoo.
- 52:22Speaker 1: It would be pretty hurty.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it would be hurty. Jason, you've got a couple
- 52:27Speaker 2: of tattoos, but would you get anything a bit more substantial?
- 52:29Speaker 1: No, I've only got one tattoo. Yeah, yeah, no, that's enough.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Yes. Oh cool.
- 52:34Speaker 1: And I only did that because my wife made me right.
- 52:37Speaker 5: Well, actually, because my one of my mates has got
- 52:39Speaker 5: a cool thing on his arm with his wife's name
- 52:41Speaker 5: in it. Right, And then Lucy was like, my wife
- 52:45Speaker 5: was like, why don't you get something like that for me?
- 52:47Speaker 2: Yeah? I was like, that's true.
- 52:48Speaker 1: You never know what the future holds. I don't have
- 52:51Speaker 1: to cross it out. Yeah, that's right, you know what
- 52:53Speaker 1: I mean?
- 52:53Speaker 5: But also I don't need my wife's name written on
- 52:55Speaker 5: my arm. I don't know, don't It's like you send
- 52:57Speaker 5: me into town if I get lost, my wife's names
- 52:58Speaker 5: on my arm and.
- 53:00Speaker 2: That's a thing. You don't need that because you've already
- 53:02Speaker 2: got the tracking devices.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Gain, Hi is this loads Listen, we've got keysy here.
- 53:06Speaker 1: He's pretty steamed. You need to come and get it.
- 53:08Speaker 5: And he's got your name and the GPS coordinates of
- 53:11Speaker 5: your house. Anyway, if you would like to win that
- 53:14Speaker 5: trip for you and to mate down to Tartanaki to
- 53:15Speaker 5: get some sikass tats like old pugs on. Go to
- 53:18Speaker 5: Hodaky dot co dot en Seid and into the.
- 53:21Speaker 3: The Darchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 53:25Speaker 3: in four on Radio Holk.
- 53:35Speaker 1: He is, indeed he that's a big show down and
- 53:37Speaker 1: dusted this Monday evening. What's the planes tonight, magie?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Not a hell of a lot, mate, I'll go home.
- 53:43Speaker 2: We're in the process of sort of sorting out of
- 53:45Speaker 2: our house a little bit. But sure we've been living
- 53:47Speaker 2: there for a while and we've just got all of
- 53:48Speaker 2: our pictures still leaning up against walls and nothing up
- 53:50Speaker 2: against the actually on the walls. Sure, so there'll be
- 53:53Speaker 2: some debate around there. Actually, i'll run this by you
- 53:55Speaker 2: tomorrow and tomorrow's show. Yeah, I've come to a conclusion. Yeah,
- 54:00Speaker 2: it sounds like renovation chat. It is renovation chat, and
- 54:03Speaker 2: it's relationship chat as well. Is it one and a
- 54:05Speaker 2: half Mogi's No?
- 54:07Speaker 1: Is it sports chat?
- 54:09Speaker 2: No? Okay, Edmund, you'll find a way to work some
- 54:13Speaker 2: in there, I'm sure.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you always do, keasy Edmund. Boys, speaking of key,
- 54:17Speaker 1: what are you doing tonight?
- 54:19Speaker 2: Tonight I'll be going home having ty green curry.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Portman, I'm not a big fan of green carries.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Cool done for me, thinks I'll be fine. That's a
- 54:28Speaker 2: shame because I was going to invite you over for dinner.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Oh okay, don't worry about that. I'll come over. We're
- 54:33Speaker 1: going to have a chat with your wife anyways, face
- 54:35Speaker 1: to face.
- 54:37Speaker 5: And then once she goes to bed, I'll have a
- 54:39Speaker 5: small glass of port Pucksun brought me a bottle of
- 54:41Speaker 5: delicious port for my birthday.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Had some what a greaser and said about.
- 54:46Speaker 5: It was from a place I've been to in Portugal
- 54:48Speaker 5: as well. Wow, it's delicious. And then we're going to
- 54:50Speaker 5: go online with our mates and shoot him up. Cool man,
- 54:54Speaker 5: What are you doing tonight?
- 54:55Speaker 2: Jas just wearing that green hoodie.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I don't know why you're having this.
- 55:00Speaker 2: You just it's just very good green hoodies.
- 55:03Speaker 1: You've been wearing a green hoodie all aftern It's a
- 55:06Speaker 1: very nice green waffle waffle texture. I'm going to go home.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I think we've got waffles for dinner tonight. Sort of
- 55:15Speaker 1: we're going a bit sort of dessert orientated, but you
- 55:18Speaker 1: can put bacon and banana on top of them right on. Yes,
- 55:23Speaker 1: so really, yes, one hundred percent totally.
- 55:26Speaker 2: But it wasn't nothing to do with the fact that
- 55:28Speaker 2: he just said the word waffle bizarrely. No bullshit.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Um, then probably watch a bit of TV chat to
- 55:37Speaker 1: my wife, make love, go to the gym, and finally
- 55:40Speaker 1: go and put my head down at about probably two
- 55:42Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Before the gym, I don't think.
- 55:44Speaker 5: So just quickly before we go, make sure you check
- 55:46Speaker 5: out our podcasts to come out at seven thirty every night.
