Transcript
- 0:23It is time to leave your worries outside and join me Daniel Mallley along with
- 0:30Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma inside this year Treehouse on a Friday, February sixteenth,
- 0:40twenty twenty four. Let's get stupid. So we're coming off of our
- 0:47big, super stupid week inside the Treehouse. And there was one thing I
- 0:52did not get a chance to bring up during Monday's live show that I think
- 0:58it is terribly unimportant for me to bring up in general, but I feel
- 1:03the need to get it off my chest. And if I wait till after
- 1:06today, the moment's going to be basically lost. So it's kind of timely.
- 1:11So I need to tell you guys an id I had, and there
- 1:14is in no way that I know of that it could actually happen. But
- 1:18sometimes I fantasize, and sometimes dreams can come true. And one dream I
- 1:26have, I think is a dream that many of us have, and that
- 1:30is making the Monday after the Super Bowl a national slash federal holiday. I
- 1:38think it needs to happen. I think it's long overdue. We celebrate lots
- 1:42of other inane, dumb things and make holidays out of them. I think
- 1:48the day after the super Bowl should be a national slash federal holiday. We
- 1:52all get the day off work, that is, if you have a job,
- 1:57and being if the game was on Saturday, we wouldn't have to worry
- 2:02about taking Monday off because we just, you know, enjoy our Sunday of
- 2:07cleaning and being hungover and what not. That Monday, we get to working
- 2:09each other talk about the game and stuff. But since they still insist on
- 2:14playing it on Sunday, and it's kind of later in the day, you're
- 2:17tired, your belly's full of caso and things, and on Monday you might
- 2:23wake up not feeling so good, not feeling so fresh. So I think
- 2:27a lot of us make the Monday after the super Bowl and national holiday.
- 2:30What say you? No? What? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard?
- 2:36What it just? Where's my hang on? Where's my bleep button?
- 2:40Do I have a bleep? Kry? You got a bleep button over there?
- 2:44Uh? Hang on, We'll wait, you got one? All right,
- 2:53I'll hang on? Hang on, Drey, are you ready with the
- 2:54beat? Yep? All right? Raj, do me a favor. Say
- 2:59again what you just said? And Trey, you beep on my finger.
- 3:00Okay, Uh said the dumbest thing I've ever heard resonate the entire thing,
- 3:07dear r. Okay, hang on, I'll start RAJ. What is the
- 3:10stupidest thing you've ever heard? Uh? Trying to make them one day after
- 3:15the Super Bowl national holiday is the dumbest thing I've ever heard you again,
- 3:25So I'm behind. So you're you're saying your irresponsibility uh needs to be a
- 3:36national holiday seven ways from Sunday. Huh? And yes, I want my
- 3:45irresponsibility celebrated. Oh that's so sad. That's not sad, that is uh
- 3:53damn genius. I okay, explain, explain your side. I don't feel
- 3:59like I should have to explain myself. I think the fact that we're doing
- 4:03this entire stupid fucking bit twenty two hundred miles between me and Dre is god
- 4:14brilliant, just because we're obviously you know of the people, and you're not.
- 4:23Yeah, tell you want to keep the man down. That's what I've
- 4:28been I've been trying to do my whole life the man. No, there
- 4:33really is. Back when, back when I had a job, I always
- 4:38wanted that Monday after the Super Bowl off because I indulged. I enjoyed myself.
- 4:44The only good thing about going to work the day after the Super Bowl
- 4:46is who can hear what? I can hear you. I can hear you.
- 4:56I can hear you. All the cameras are frozen, as as the
- 4:59recording time. Okay, well the recording timer is going on our end and
- 5:02your face all right, well, I believe Trey's Internet has betrayed him.
- 5:11See that's what I get from even So y'all can y'all hear me? Yes,
- 5:16we can hear you, but your face is locked up. Yeah,
- 5:19camera obviously locked up. Why would you Why would you make a joke about
- 5:26keeping the man down with a brown guy and the internet? You know,
- 5:30you know we run this. This this is our hood, homie, this
- 5:38is what we rule. And that's exactly what happened. Trey said that,
- 5:43and then Raj, you obviously made him pay for it. I MEETI I
- 5:47made I made one text. I sent one text and said shut him down.
- 5:53Did you even have to send a text? I figure that was just
- 5:55automatic? No, no, no, it's we're not that great. Ill.
- 6:00I sent one text to one person and said shut him down and make
- 6:04his face freeze like that at least he's smiling. That's the only good side
- 6:12of this. Looks happy, Trey, are you? You are unfrozen?
- 6:18Now? You look good. I think we're I think we're back on track
- 6:23now. So let me get back to my main point, Raj, you'r
- 6:26nuts not wanting a national slash federal holiday for the day after the super Bowl.
- 6:30But second of all, like any great made up holiday, you need
- 6:35a mythical creature to go along with Super Bowl Monday holiday. Okay. Now,
- 6:42I have not thought enough about it to come up with a name,
- 6:46but I do know what the creature should do, and it's simple. Okay,
- 6:49because look at it this way. Christmas has, Santa Valentine's Day,
- 6:56which just passed, has Cupid. Saint Patrick's Day has the Leprechaun. Right,
- 7:01I like how you're missing all the saints. Saint Valentine has nothing to
- 7:04do with it, Saint Patrick. Okay, Well, I'm staying with the
- 7:09Hallmark tradition of adding unnecessary things to these things to make them more marketable,
- 7:15and so for Super Bowl Monday, I propose a mythical creature that will come
- 7:21into your home while you sleep and clean up after your Super Bowl party.
- 7:27I'm not even asking for gifts. I'm not asking for money the way the
- 7:31tooth fairy would leave you when you lose a tooth. I'm just saying,
- 7:35when I go to bed Sunday night and I've had people over for the super
- 7:39Bowl, i can leave all the dishes, all the trash, everything out,
- 7:44and if my team lost and I turned over my own television, the
- 7:48super Bowl Fairy will come in overnight while I sleep, clean everything, fix
- 7:55the television, clean the caso out of the crockpot, which is all is
- 8:00a bitch, and I can wake up Monday morning not having to go to
- 8:03work, and I've got a clean house. What's so wrong with everything I
- 8:09just said. I think it's just called housekeeping. Yeah, let's say,
- 8:13if you plan ahead Dan with that, If you just plan ahead and leave
- 8:18a credit card pretty much, you know you can have that done. This
- 8:22is not mythological, no legislation needed. Yeah, but I like how I
- 8:28want it to be official and I don't want to have to pay for it.
- 8:33Okay, I get your side of the story. Now is to be
- 8:39free, Well, that's part of it. I mean, look, there's
- 8:43there's already some I think while I don't have like a name for the mythical
- 8:46creature or it's exact. You know, I don't know identity or anything like
- 8:52that. We could that something can be figured out later, We can workshop
- 8:58that. But I do I do have a few aims in mind of what
- 9:01the mythical creature's name could be. You can pull it from you know,
- 9:05football lore, especially the names from football Lord that already sound made up anyway,
- 9:09Like maybe Rockney comes into your house overnight and cleans up after your super
- 9:13Bowl and cleans up after your super Bowl party. And if not Rockney,
- 9:18which sounds like a made up name, how about Dick Butkus when you're sleeping
- 9:22at night, but comes into your house and he cleans up your entire house.
- 9:28I don't want to dick or a butt kiss when I'm asleep. I'm
- 9:33I will take a clowney. Look the toothberry leaves money. Maybe you get
- 9:41some Dick Butkuss when you That just sounds so wrong. You know, he
- 9:46could have changed his name. Yeah, and he didn't. You did you
- 9:52see that man play ball? Yeah, he could have just been Richard did
- 10:00just he wanted to be triggered. That's exactly what it was. It was
- 10:05motivation. But Dan, there can be another another creature in your in your
- 10:09holiday, this lore. We'll we'll call him Saint Vinnie, and he'll he'll
- 10:18come into your house after the game. If you won your bet, he'll
- 10:20leave cash and then you can have you can have the maid come if you
- 10:28lost your bet. Legs. I don't want to wake up the Monday after
- 10:37the Super Bowl looking for my kneecaps, But he'll look for a butt cast
- 10:43then make a better bet him play. You know what I'm like, How
- 10:52you guys have already ruined my made up holiday. Never bet the under Jese.
- 11:03At least you know quaint toss. You got a fifty to fifty shot
- 11:05at it, Dan, Sat Vinnie is the greatest Catholic Saint I ever heard
- 11:13in my life. I would fall, I would believe in that, I
- 11:16would believe in in religion, Saint Vinnie was real. I think. I
- 11:22think what he's getting at Raj is that Saint Vinnie is real. Oh,
- 11:31Trey, Betty under Trey knows. Trey knows about Saint Vinnie because he's been
- 11:39visited in the middle of the night. See I bet now he's wanting to
- 11:46be walking up by a dick, but kiss a dick to Vinny ruined my
- 11:58ideas. We're listening to the tree House. Visit us online at treehouseonair dot

- 13:22COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into the treehouse right now for your free roof inspection.
- 13:26Give him a call the number of course eight three three. COOKDFW the website
- 13:31where you can get more information and see a ton of their great work including
- 13:33home remodeling and restoration in addition to the roofing, that is cookdfw dot com.
- 13:39Daniel, Today, I'm going to ask you about college scholarships. You've
- 13:43got two daughters. How proud of a dad would you be if they came
- 13:46home and said, hey, dad, we got a scholarship. Man.
- 13:52That's a wonderful question. My oldest daughter thought she was an athlete, and
- 13:58then after a while figured out she didn't want to do that anymore, and
- 14:03so she was more focused on FFA. She had a bunny, and she
- 14:07had a sheep. I think she had a heffer. At one time she
- 14:13thought she was gonna get some scholarships on those things, but that didn't work
- 14:16out. And my youngest daughter same thing. She's an academic all star,
- 14:22she wonderful, all straight. A's sports not her thing. She doesn't care
- 14:26to get sweaty, and she doesn't care about going out there and trying on
- 14:30those kind of things. But hey, if we were fortunate enough to get
- 14:33a scholarship of any kind, it's a blessing because, as you well know,
- 14:37these colleges are out of control. The good news is for parents,
- 14:41all hope is not lost because even if your children are not athletically gifted or
- 14:46smart enough to get a great scholarship academically, South Carolina will Hoyt University has
- 14:52just awarded two Division one scholarships for cornhole. You don't have to be brilliant,
- 14:58and you clearly we do not have to be running a four four forty
- 15:03to be great at cornhole, Dan Nobs, I actually know two professional cornhole
- 15:09players, really, yes, yes, and they're good. Like as matter
- 15:13of fact, I just had custom cornhole tables made for COOKDFW so we could
- 15:20take them out to promotions and different things like that. And one of the
- 15:24guy's name is Chris Brooks, and he saw him and we started playing.
- 15:28The guy doesn't miss twenty seven feet of around twenty seven feet across from each
- 15:31other. And this guy just throws a bag like nothing, and he hits
- 15:35the whole like probably ninety five percent of the time. And he's a professional.
- 15:39His son is a professional. They go and do these leagues professional and
- 15:43make really pretty good money. I mean, not like professional like you were
- 15:48thinking of, like millions of dollars, but they could make up to,
- 15:50like, you know, twenty five thousand dollars in a weekend playing this.
- 15:54All right, you and I need to start training. I've tried and tried.
- 16:00I'm not very good. I mean I'm decent, but not like these
- 16:03guys. Are these guys I think I know the secret because you're obviously handy
- 16:07with tools. What we do is we just make our holes a little bit
- 16:11bigger than everybody else's. That would make a big difference. Speaking of holes,
- 16:17if you have holes in your roof, and you'll know what pretty soon
- 16:19if you do, give Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration a call,
- 16:23he'll patch those for you, give you an honest assessment of what's going on
- 16:26for free, that freeerof inspection eight three three Cook DFW or the website cookdfw
- 16:32dot com. You're in the treehouse visten us online a treehouse on air dot
- 16:44com. This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by Cookie DFW Roofing
- 16:49and Restoration. Give them a call for your free roof inspection eight three three
- 16:55Cook dfw the website cookdfw dot com. Also, the first segment was brought
- 17:00to you by the Dallas Comedy Club Comedy five nights a week in the safe
- 17:07corner of Deep Elam at the Dallas Comedy Club. For tickets and event info,
- 17:11go to Dallas Dashcomedy dot com. That's Dallas Dashcomedy dot com. And
- 17:17make sure that this is the part where you make sure and pause this episode
- 17:22and go listen to our interview with Brad Williams. And I will easily say
- 17:26that was one of my top easily top ten, maybe top five, quote
- 17:33unquote interviews I've ever done as a radio or podcasting professional, because it wasn't
- 17:41an interview. I think I actually asked two questions and the rest of it
- 17:45was just a fun conversation. So make sure you go listen to that episode
- 17:48with Brad Williams, the standup comedian, because something very special happened in that
- 17:53and it was so special that that Raj actually cried a little bit. And
- 17:57it doesn't because I'm doing it. It wasn't because he got his face on
- 18:02a wall. And it wasn't because that he got to eat waffle house with
- 18:07a little person and a giant black man. It was it was professionally speaking,
- 18:11God all weepy, congratulations on the special. Man, We're very happy
- 18:15for Thank you, Thank you so much. It's just gonna you know when
- 18:18when when when happens and uh like they've approved the materials, so we're just
- 18:22gonna do the thirty minute special. Thirty minute special is gonna uh lead to
- 18:33bigger and better things for all of us. Was was that you knocking on
- 18:37the table or is that some sort of weird room service at the Hampton end?
- 18:41Uh? This late? Uh that it's room serviced, you know I
- 18:49talking about? But uh no, but it will lead to bigger and better
- 18:56things. So when you say special these days, I don't know what kind
- 19:00of special that is, because it used to be Comedy Central special or like
- 19:03that comedy that used to be on like like Network TV, on NBC and
- 19:06things like that. Is now there's Netflix specials that they throw millions of dollars
- 19:10at Dave Chappelle to do. There's YouTube special. So where where will we
- 19:14eventually be able to see special? We will see this on Comedy Dynamics and
- 19:19then it streams out to Hulu, to Amazon, to Netflix. And so
- 19:26the thirty minute special is to lead up to the hour, right, that's
- 19:30the goal. And so the kind of it's not a guarantee, but if
- 19:34you do the thirty minutes, you might you might get the the hour special.
- 19:40But I would like maybe we can do a live before we take the
- 19:48special in Salt Lake. We can't do a live show or all of us.
- 19:52I can get you out of Oklahoma, Trey, get you all you
- 20:00guys to come up and hang out right before. So you're saying, what
- 20:06you're proposing is an honest to goodness treehouse road show where we at That would
- 20:10be great road Oh man, yes, sounds Salt Lake. Oh my god,
- 20:15the treehouse in Salt Lake City. What are we talking about? March
- 20:22twenties. Okay, let's just do it March twenty second. Hopefully just a
- 20:25misdemeanor. Depends on where you put it, buddy. Yeah, I feel
- 20:33like I feel like the laws and the holes are much looser if we were
- 20:37to go to Jacksonville, Florida, as opposed to Salt Lake City, March
- 20:42twenty second, Salt Lake City, the Treehouse and the rows Arm Special.
- 20:48It's called Conditional Love. That's the name of the special. It's going to
- 20:52be conditional special if we if we show up first, maybe what you should
- 20:56do is do the special first, then we do our things. I don't
- 20:59want to do anything to ruin your special, oh you that maybe we would
- 21:03do the next day. So it's called conditional Love. And that's the new
- 21:08thirty minutes. And I have been waiting so long to tell you guys,
- 21:14and now now it's happened, so well, we're very happy for you.
- 21:18And you know, anytime that there is success in the Treehouse, I almost
- 21:25said it's always celebrated, but didn't. It didn't used to be that way.
- 21:27There were some that that would happen to people in the show that it
- 21:36wasn't always you know, welcomed with open arms. It was usually kind of
- 21:40pooped upon. But things are different in here these days, and we're very
- 21:44genuinely happy for you. I think it's important though, that while you are
- 21:49you know, sort of enjoying your time in the comedy special Spotlight There are
- 21:56more important things happening in the world than you were. Successes, Yes,
- 22:02and that's birthdays. As a side note, I just real fast, we're
- 22:14either of you all trying to figure out when we're you know, the Brad
- 22:15Williams in it, because it just started. I was just I was sitting
- 22:19there for like the first ten minutes, going where do we stop and go?
- 22:22Tell them we haven't even you know, technically we need to start the
- 22:25segment. I think we did it the right way. You just you don't.
- 22:32You just He's one of the best. So definitely make sure you check
- 22:37out that Bride Williams interview. So don't miss that here in the Treehouse,
- 22:44Raja's special that will be streaming eventually, and when it does, I think
- 22:48it'll be like a test balloon. If if the thirty minutes does well,
- 22:51then they get you the hour. So don't worry. If there's one thing
- 22:55we know how to do, if there's two things we know how to do
- 22:59really really well inside the Treehouse, one is the show and two and two
- 23:06is horn. Oh horrn. We we know how to hoar this bitch out.
- 23:14I see in radio we called it plugola. Now that we're on the
- 23:18digital side of things, it's just good old fashioned horrn. We just hoard
- 23:19the place out. Yeah, so that's awesome, But yeah, I want
- 23:26to hear these birthdays. Who do you have? It's always obscure people I've
- 23:30never heard of. It's not always obscure people, it's usually I usually try
- 23:34to focus on the famous people. So we will start with the weekend.
- 23:38The singer performer the weekend with only two e's not three. He is thirty
- 23:44four today the weekend is thirty four. Oh, I probably should probably mention
- 23:48that in case you missed it, that today is Friday, February sixteenth,
- 23:52twenty twenty four. The weekend is thirty four. She plays the Scarlet Witch
- 23:56in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Elizabeth Olsen is thirty five. That's the sister
- 24:03of the Olsen twins. She is, and it's freakish to say it,
- 24:07even though she's a huge star currently in film and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 24:11She is financially speaking, the less successful of the sister. And then there's
- 24:18the rogue brother. There's a brother, no is This is like, this
- 24:26is like Dave Swayzey, what, Yeah's brother? Who's it was? It
- 24:37was Don Swayzey. Nobody even knows Don Slazy. So we have an Olsen
- 24:44that's Emasculated Olson. That's his name. It is actually Connor's certificate, Emasculated
- 24:53Olsen. Wow. Okay, I don't know. There was a go ahead
- 24:59almost so also part of the Marvel Cinematic universe, although a new edition or
- 25:06new word edition. Mahershela Ali is fifty today. He got his uh if
- 25:11I remember correctly, his start in the not the m c U because it
- 25:15wasn't a movie, but he was in Luke Cage the series, uh,
- 25:19the Marvel series, and he got killed in that, and so they said,
- 25:23you know, he was really good, let's bring him back his blade.
- 25:26So he'll be entering the m c U as blade coming out his name
- 25:33again, marhrshela Ali. Okay, what that's no, that's the very white
- 25:41way of saying it. No, it's not. You should have heard it
- 25:42when. No. The first time I ever saw his name, I was
- 25:48like marred mar marshmallow marshmellow Ali. That's Marshmellowli. That's that's the whitest version
- 25:59that you've belt version that also sounds like a fun like gangster name or a
- 26:06good character in a blaxploitation film. It's a black guy. The character's name
- 26:10is marsh Mellow. You don't want to fuck with Marshmallow. I'll leave to
- 26:14totally changed Ghostbusters, Ray Ray? What did you think of Ray? The
- 26:33first day? That came to my mind? On air? Dot com?
- 26:48Oh Man? This week at the Dallas Comedy Club in Deep Elum. You've
- 26:53probably seen one of his videos with over one point five million views, and
- 26:57after selling out last time time, David Nihill is back with his new show,
- 27:02Shelf Help. There's people we never did it. It's a fairly unique
- 27:07group of white people in history where you're like, well, what did they
- 27:11do? Nothing we're good at. Actually, you might correctly say, well
- 27:15didn't you blow blow up some British people? And we'll be like yeah,
- 27:18but historically, who hasn't wanted to do that? That's David Nihil This Friday
- 27:26and Saturday, February sixteenth and seventeenth at the Dallas Comedy Club. For tickets,
- 27:30go to Dallas Dashcomedyclub dot com. That's Dallas Dashcomedyclub dot com. Your
- 27:36new home for comedy in DFW is the Dallas Comedy Club. Funny happens here.
- 27:41Let's talk to Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing. The phone number two one four
- 27:45three six eight thirty eight thirty eight for any and all of your plumbing once
- 27:48and needs. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Jaqueline, I know
- 27:49you're not a huge sports fan, so you may not have watched the Super
- 27:52Bowl for the game. Did you have any favorite commercials? I did.
- 27:56I am sad to say, I don't know what they were advertising, but
- 27:57it's the one where everybody famous like forgot something in their life. So like
- 28:02Jennifer Aniston couldn't recognize a shwimmer from friends, and then Jelly Roll walks up
- 28:07to the mirror and goes, oh my god, who tattooed my face?
- 28:11So Jelly Roll, as you know, as a friend of mine, and
- 28:15he's a rags to riches guy, and he's so humble, and I love
- 28:18him and I adore him, and I thought it was so cool to see
- 28:22somebody who started nowhere and is at the absolute top appear in a Super Bowl
- 28:26commercial. But do you remember that commercial? What were they advertising? I
- 28:30do I believe it was for Uber Eats, and I'm an avid Friends fan.
- 28:33Friends For me, it's Friends, Frasier and Cheers are the ones that
- 28:37I want to go to sleep watching because it's like a comfort show. It
- 28:40feels like it's tugging you. In addition to excellent tasting commercials, you can

- 29:22thirty eight thirty eight. That's two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty
- 29:26eight the website Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. All right, we've clearly after two
- 29:34birthdays, went way off the rails, So let's just leave it there,
- 29:37and let's jump into some news real quick. Dreams do come true, gentlemen,
- 29:49and I've got a great example of that. Two kids from Colorado have
- 29:56just been awarded the first ever athletic scholarship ships to play Division one cornhole.
- 30:18I don't know who fielded the first ever cornhole team at the university at the
- 30:22college level trade, but I do know that, Uh, these two scholarships
- 30:29were given out by where did it go? That's what That's what the school
- 30:36said about their money. I know Aggie wants to win a championship, so
- 30:42maybe this is their best bet. Wow, No, this is uh.
- 30:48This is Winthrop University in South Carolina. Winthrop University in South Carolina. On
- 30:56National signing Day last week, they had two kids from Colorado, Jackson Remick
- 31:02and Gavin Haman, who are thunder Ridge High School seniors just outside of Denver.
- 31:08They are apparently cornhole prodigies, and so they are the first ever to
- 31:14get scholarships to play not only cornhole, but Division one cornhole, which then
- 31:21tells you that there's got to be at least a Division two, maybe a
- 31:26three, and maybe the JUCO Level two. I don't know. So it's
- 31:33one thing to be a professional cornhole player. But now now you can get
- 31:37a quote unquote athletic scholarship for it. And they say it's not a full
- 31:42ride, but but the coach said that eventually they think that will be an
- 31:52option. A full ride scholarship for cornhole could happen eventually. So again,
- 32:00meams clearly can come true, not for not for us, at least not
- 32:05me and Trey rag is getting his comedy special. But I'm not gonna.
- 32:07But why can't Well, there's no there's no jurisdiction right there, so there's
- 32:13no red shirting, there's no we can all the three of us can go
- 32:16back to school. You know what I don't. I don't know. I
- 32:20don't know if the I don't know how much oversized football has has an age
- 32:25limit, but I don't know about other sports football have an age limit.
- 32:30I've seen. I've seen instances before. We're like middle aged dudes went back
- 32:32and like said, I got one year of eligibility. I mean that was
- 32:36the whole plot of necessary roughness. I think that's a movie I have seen.
- 32:45I think we all would be eligible, right, Like I said,
- 32:49I like football. I know, I think scholarship it's like a you can't
- 32:52be older than twenty seven, and then I don't think he can be older
- 32:53than thirty five just for a cornhole. No, I'm talking about for d
- 32:59work football. Okay. Like I said, I don't know if that's an
- 33:01n C double A rules apply across the board, or if that's just you
- 33:06know, a sport where you can get killed cornhole. I think you started
- 33:10thirty five or drinking. I don't know how it works. We can't.
- 33:16We can't. We can't pay for your school, but we'll cover your bar
- 33:19tab Texas State. That would be like me going to the Golden Corral buffet.
- 33:28I'm gonna come out ahead. You all want to see. You want
- 33:32to see a bowl game? Texas State verus Steven F. Austin in the
- 33:37cornhole team. You could have that at Jerry World and they're still gonna out
- 33:42here drink the place out of beer. And I'm in a school from Arizona
- 33:50waiting in the wings that I'm still your team captain. I think we should
- 34:01all three of us go back to school and now play the corn hole.
- 34:08Yeah, I'm not sure how the n C double A eligibility stuff works.
- 34:14I mean, I only went to college for a year and a half,
- 34:16but I paid for two years. The trey graduated from Texas and and you
- 34:25had like a walk on or a scholarship Texas. I got invited to walk
- 34:30on, but I watched one practice went, So that tells me you've got
- 34:34you've got eligibility. And Texas State doesn't keep records of anything other than so
- 34:40you should have plenty of eligibility. So I say we make necessary roughness two
- 34:46necessary corn hole? Do you understand the bags of money that Hollywood is about
- 34:53to throw at you? With necessary roughness? The corn hole version I find
- 35:00out, Look, at a certain point you have to reach in your life
- 35:07knowing your strengths and your weaknesses, and and and then sometimes that that means
- 35:12you to be honest with yourself. But you also it's a it's it's it's
- 35:15a moment of opportunity where you then can cash in on something that you thought
- 35:21was not worthwhile. Like at some point years ago, people thought cornhole was
- 35:25just a backyard game. Now people are making a living at it, they're
- 35:29giving scholarships for it. Right now, I'm just trying to ask myself,
- 35:31other than doing this show, what other talent do I allegedly have that.
- 35:37I could go professional in if you were sponsored by bush beans just throwing cornhole
- 35:45bags. Man, I would chow up to every game as your brother in
- 35:51a dude right there? Well, I mean I don't I mean dan hole
- 35:57in it low Malley, hole Malley. I can see there's already an opportunity
- 36:07to make whole malley cornhole boards. Dando hoole Malley. How are we not
- 36:13on this? Oh, that's good. You get you get to it looks
- 36:17like yeah, and that's one of Like you get more than two boards,
- 36:22you get one for each hole. You can come up with a dark game
- 36:28too, or maybe be like charts. He'll corn your whole malley. Oh
- 36:45I think I think we could sell a few of those. Yes, that's
- 36:53a sad part, is yes. So there in lies the the important news
- 37:00of the day. I mean, like like like Trey like he just did
- 37:06it right then, like like Trey vaping. Is vaping somehow going to be
- 37:09a professional sport someday, because at some point years ago, people would laugh
- 37:13at cornhole players, I'm gonna turn pro in this some day, and they
- 37:16laughed at that person Trey vapes. Does that mean he's gonna have it's called
- 37:22cloud chasing. Like, you don't do that, dude, because I will.
- 37:24I will. I don't know if I can talk to you after this
- 37:28if you cloud chase, I don't even know what that is. Okay,
- 37:32so that's an an actual thing now they want to tell them. I don't.
- 37:38I don't know what you're talking about. Cloud chasing. So there's I've
- 37:42heard him cloud chasing like for like for Instagram followers and clean chasing, clee
- 37:50chasing about seen that in uptown? Uh, cloud cloud chasing. So it's
- 37:59I can't make I can't even say it. With this. It's professional vaping
- 38:05with the biggest amount of what do you is it steam? I don't know
- 38:08what what is it? Yeah, it's vapor. It's vapor. So the
- 38:14most amount of vapor. Oh all right. So like so there's ones where
- 38:17like it looks like, you know, there's a fire. Yeah, there's
- 38:22so much. Okay, I got you, Like somebody's banging a dragon.
- 38:25Yeah, you're saying this is there's there's professional Yes, this is Uh,
- 38:35it's like it's I think it's on ESPN. I think it's right behind a
- 38:38professional slapping people. I think right after that. Another another example, Uh,
- 38:45of a of a sport that people thought would never actually be a sport,
- 38:49let alone on TV and money involved. I just saw a great clip
- 38:52of one chick slapping another chick so hard that it knocked the girl out.
- 38:55Well, that's the whole goal. And then uh, of following that is
- 39:00the cloud chasing, so like the you know, clouds in the sky chasing.
- 39:06So I see it here as I had to look it up as I
- 39:08thought you were making it up. Cloud chasing the art of making huge clouds
- 39:13of vapor. Mm hmm, okay, Trey, there you go. Oh,
- 39:17there's some good examples on here, some nice some nice photos of people
- 39:21doing lots of smoky things with the vape things. Look, this is the
- 39:23kind of stuff I did when I actually when I smoked actual cigarettes way back
- 39:27in the day. Where you try to like do trick things like what was
- 39:30like the French thing where you do like in between the nose and the mouth
- 39:31exhaling hell at the same time. Yeah, there's the dragon where you just
- 39:36do it really heavy out of your nose. Go, yeah, are there
- 39:39others? Are there other tricks that Trey is gonna have to learn? Like
- 39:46is it one of those where we can take competitive vaping for Trey, where
- 39:51he blows his vape cloud into your into your whole malley, and then it
- 39:57comes out of your mouth and corn pops out smoke bawling. I'm just glad
- 40:07there's finally a sport that white people can win. I can't wait to see
- 40:12that trophy. No one's gonna hoist it. It hoists you. Oh my
- 40:24god. All right, I hardly even know what to say after a show
- 40:30like this, especially on the heels of BD. Listen to everything in the
- 40:36Treehouse. It really will make your day better. Thank you for hanging out
