- Amanda: What is up guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Thursday, October 15th. I'm Amanda, and this is my somewhat cool host, Drew Black himself. Drew: What is up everybody? Happy Thursday. Hope everybody's had a great week and is excited for week six. Amanda: Week six. I think as the season goes on, you know, I started out real hot, like, my sexy husband Drew, and now you're just like mediocre Drew Black and it's just gonna taper out. Drew: I think I am aging like a fine wine, so as time goes on it just gets better and better. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. I mean I I agree with myself on that, so Drew: Good. Love it. Amanda: Just glazed over at the fact about you. I don't know if your body's agent like fine wine baby. Drew: I didn't say my body, my looks. Yeah, my body Amanda: Shit's falling apart left and right. Yeah, you're hot as hell. Drew: is straight up falling apart, but you know, it it happens, just happening a little bit quicker for me than most people. Amanda: Body aging, what's like something that ages fast? Body aging like bread and looks aging like fine wine. Drew: Cheese. Cheese cheese? I'm just turning into moldy cheese. Yeah. Amanda: But wine and cheese, babe, it's all good. They go to good good together. On the bright side, my body is yeah, uh-huh. My body and my looks are aging like fine wine. So Drew: Yes they do. So you're the wine and I'm the cheese now? Yeah I I like how you did that. There you go, there you go. Amanda: all right. Well, let's talk a little bit about Monday night football. That was Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Honestly really fucking boring at first because it was just a lot of like nothing, a nothing sandwich for a while. And then the minute I hit Rem, it was a lot of something Drew: Yeah, yeah, it it got pretty wild. it's just a weird game. Like Buffalo is is so odd because like th you you put up thirty seven points, which is it's a good amount of points. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Josh Allen is amazing, James Cook is amazing, and Amanda: the man. Drew: there are absolutely no receiving options whatsoever that you can play for the Buffalo Bills. They either Amanda: I know. Drew: spread they spread the ball around and they don't throw the ball that much. Like Amanda: They don't use it. No, I was so worried. Drew: Two hundred and ten passing yards in overtime is not a lot for Josh Allen and they're like Amanda: No. I how many he what did he rush? 120 or something? Josh Allen himself? Insane. I mean, he outran James Cook. Drew: Yeah, it's it's just I mean Yeah, well, I mean James Cook had 111, which is good, but if if you look at the the the leading receiver for targets or receptions was Ty Johnson, the backup running back. He had four catches for seventy two yards. There were two receivers that caught a pass in this game. Shakir caught three, Keon Coleman caught one, and then it Amanda: happen to be a touchdown. Drew: look at the tight ends and there were one catch from Dalton and one catch from Dawson and that's it. Like it's just it's weird. I it doesn't make any sense, Amanda: Yeah, it is. Drew: but they won the game and, you know, their defense Amanda: Working. Drew: is do it it feels very much Detroit from the last couple of years where Amanda: Great. Drew: they don't really have much of a defense to speak of, just good enough of a defense to like win a game, but their offense has to score thirty five plus points to win. It's sh it's worrisome for the Bills season long if their defense can't play better than this, but Amanda: Yeah. Drew: great for fantasy. Amanda: my God. I walked into that this week. So I was losing in two of my three leagues. One I already had wrapped up. And in one of them, my girls' league, I had Devontae Adams and she had Keon Coleman and she was up by ten points. So I was like, Well, I need Adams to outscore Keon Coleman. DJ Moore went out, got rolled out of that game, and I was just like in a despair moment 'cause I'm like, Well, I'm screwed because Keon Coleman's going to be used as the wide receiver one, right? no, I won. by like four points, but I won nonetheless. It was like midnight, I woke up and Drew: Yeah. Amanda: I realized it was in overtime and I like had it on my phone 'cause I was like, no, the Rams have the ball, I'm fine Then that freaking kicker missed the kick and Josh Allen had the ball again and I'm like, I'm screwed. It all buffed out, I won anyways, but Drew: Yeah, I lost because of Tyler Bass that field goal in overtime. Yeah, that's unluckily it was in the league I care the least in, so but still sucked. Amanda: Yeah, but still it still sucks when you lose by that small of a margin on like an overtime Drew: Yeah. Amanda: situation that should have been wrapped up. Like it just sucks. Drew: should have been, but as far as the Rams are concerned, I mean, great offense to play, all your pieces, and their their game plan is is pretty much laid out now. It is Puka, tight ends, and Kyron Williams all the way down the field, and Devontae Adams in the red zone. Amanda: And then so Drew: That that's that's I mean that's that's it right there, right? Devontae Adams is still an incredible receiver. he just He's older, so he doesn't have the juice in the middle of the field. But one on one in the red zone, it just I don't know what you do as a defense Amanda: Unstoppable. Drew: because you cannot leave him manned up with one guy. Like it he's too good. Yeah. Yeah. Kyron is yeah, Kyron is the the guy. He is the Amanda: And you can't leave Puka like Puka's also amaz like it's crazy. Yeah, their team fundamentally is so good. It's just I mean, haven't been able to tie it together. The dude. Drew: main man in a close game like this. Sixteen carries, eight targets, Blake Corum. Five carries, four targets. So it's clearly if a game is close, it it's going to be Kyron Williams. If the game, like this week, they play the Arizona Cardinals, I would expect Blake Koram to get fifty percent of the work. You'll see you'll see his work go up and Kyron's go down because they don't they're gonna save Kyron for the big games and for the playoffs. So if the game's a blowout, Koram's gonna get half the work. If the game is close, Kyron is the guy. Amanda: Yeah. Well, I have to sidebar to Dancing with the Stars for just a second. You don't give a shit. You don't watch it. Okay. But for anyone who does, I'm gonna need everyone to hear me when I say this. If they don't start being nicer to Connor Wood, I'm going to absolutely lose my marbles. The he is the sweetest baby angel I have ever witnessed. I had no idea who this man was prior to Dancing with the Stars. And I love him. Drew: I don't know who anybody is on those shows 'cause they're like not even D list celebrities they get nowadays. Amanda: Well, they are too. I'm gonna make you listen to Connor Wood because he is freaking funny and is a sweet baby angel. And he people will compare Drew: W what is he? Amanda: him he's a comedian. but he like TikTok, like Drew: I like comedians. Amanda: social media is how he, you know, got his footing. But like, Drew: All they do anymore. Amanda: dude is just funny and just like authentically a funny dude. And I like him a lot. And they're mean the judges are mean, they're mean to him. They're nice to everyone else, and they're all in the same category. They're mean anyways, moving on. Let's get into what we shall cover today. We're gonna talk the injury report. We're gonna go over all of our week six matchups. We'll do our weekly prop bet segment for better or for worse. And to start though, we're gonna talk about our Sunday sweethearts. We did this last week. I'm on a mission to redeem myself for Sunday sweethearts. But let's get They weren't Drew: Yeah, yours weren't yours weren't super good last week. Amanda: very fucking sweet, but it's okay. We're gonna we're gonna make that better this week. So give me your quarterback sweetheart of the week here. Drew: Yeah. So mine last week were really good outside of two, which I get it. I two Amanda: Shut up, Joe. Shut up, Dir. No one cares. Drew: for five's not great, but Dallas Cowboys defense, sorry about that. I also played them and got destroyed. Dallas sucks Amanda: Woo Drew was like fiery about it too, like he was pissed. Drew: so bad. And but the other one was Quinchon who got hurt, and obviously I can't hold injuries against myself, so no. so this Amanda: Can't predict an injury, right? I'll hold the injury against you, but Drew: this week, quarterback I have Jordan Love playing against guess what? The Dallas Cowboys defense. Amanda: Switch it up on Dallas, babe. Drew: yeah, I don't really think I need to say much more than he plays against Dallas and look what Jalon Daniels did against him last week. and also Jordan Love at this point, he's just yeeting the ball down the field to two of the game's, you know, really good receivers in Watson and Golden. Both are really turning into really good deep ball players. and Jordan Love's just kind of saying, Screw and launching the ball deep and it's working a lot. It's either a catch, like I it's like sixty percent of the time it's a catch or a pass interference, which is like a super high rate for deep balls. Why not continue to do that? And Dallas looks like they don't even know how to play defense. So yeah, Jordan Love. Amanda: They confused. All right, I'm taking the quarterback two on the year so far. The quarterback two, Brock Purdy. he's been consistent as all hell. I know last week, a slightly down week, he only scored in the teens as opposed to the twenties, but that is not scaring me at all. It shouldn't scare you either. He's been super duper consistent. I know he's missing a ton of his like, you know, wide receiving core, just keeps getting injured and going down. Mike Evan is the man they're gonna keep passing to George Kittle. They're gonna involve CMC in the pass game more as well. Brock Purdy's a great play this week against the Washington defense. And in my spidey senses, I believe that also Brock Purdy will score a rushing touchdown this week himself. So I think he's a fantastic play this week. They gotta keep getting it done. They gotta keep winning games. That division is particularly difficult. So they'll they'll handle business against against Washington this week. Drew: Yeah, he he also played Seattle this past week and so he had eighteen Amanda: Yes. Drew: in the league that I'm in. You know, eighteen, so he's in the teens, high teens for you know, against Seattle this past week. And if you look at his totals from last year, week one he played Seattle and it was in the mid teens, a little bit less than what he scored this past week. And then in week eighteen last year he scored like three fantasy points against Seattle. So like San Francisco traditionally struggles, especially in recent years, against you know, Kyle Shanahan has struggled against McDonald since he's been there. so Purdy doing what he did that I mean, that was a really good week for you know, that matchup last week last week. So I think that's a great one as well. All right, running Amanda: Yeah. All right. Drew: back. I have Ramondre Stevenson versus the Jets. So twenty six strength of schedule, so really good matchup against the Jets. They do give up a lot. It is a run funnel defense. and Henderson's hurt. So Fire Ramondre up, he's had back to back sixteen point weeks. I would expect him to get the bulk of the work this week. Henderson's not technically been ruled out yet, so even if he plays, I would still expect Ramondre to get a bulk of the work this week. Amanda: I love it. Well I'm gonna reverse OU and also go Green Bay and pick Marshawn Lloyd. this is a guy a b a g yes. Drew: Hold on real quick. So in our show doc, look at how you spelled Lloyd. Amanda: Isn't that how you spell it? Drew: No L L Y O D Lyod Marshon Lyod No it's L L O Y D You spelled Lyod Amanda: Isn't that how you spell Lloyd? Nu I didn't even see it. I didn't even see it. I was like, yeah, Lloyd, double L. I thought you were making fun of the double L. I was like, that's how you do that, right? Like double L. it's the why before the L. yeah, I'm Drew: No, it's not the double L, it's the Y before the O. It's probably a typo, but it just looked funny. Anyway. Amanda: always moving a little bit too fast. But Marshawn Lloyd is my sweetheart for a the running back position here. obviously, I know he's been hard to trust. I think this week is one you can trust him. We are, again, going against the Dallas defense. We did see Marshawn Lloyd get some juice this week and was running through people, which was great to see. So a little bit of consistency going on in that run game. Jordan Love also is getting that pass game opened up really well, which does enhance the run game. so it looks like things are really starting to flow out for them. I think this would be a great play this week, specifically with like the running back. disparity that is the running back room right now. This is a guy that has been hard to trust if you sat on him because, he's gonna be a great running back because Josh Jacobs is out and then he did nothing and he's relevant again, I think this would be a great play as we again go to back to Drew's point of facing a shitty Dallas defense, right? Drew: Sure. So so far we've got two Green Bay Packers and let's go ahead and round it out with a third Green Bay Packer. Amanda: Pipeline in Drew: obviously we love attacking the Cowboys defense, and since the Lions aren't available for us to attack this week because they're on a bye, I have my wide receiver sweetheart of the week is Matthew Golden. again, plays Dallas. They are twenty third in strength of schedule against wide receivers, so great matchup. Watson obviously he's a great play as well, but I'm gonna go at the second option being Golden. I I think a deep bomb is coming this week and Matthew Golden will be the recipient. So Matthew Golden, wide receiver, sweetheart of the week. Amanda: I love it. I'm going taking a bet on the Cleveland Browns, which never makes me feel quite good. But Denzel Boston is my wide receiver sweetheart of the week. Divisional matchup Drew: Nice. Amanda: against the Baltimore Ravens. I think this is gonna be a a gritty game that ends up becoming kind of a little bit of a brawl out. All these divisional matchup games are, specifically between the Browns and the Ravens. We tend to see really good matchups. L Lamar sounds like he's gonna try to make it back and play in this Drew: Maybe. Amanda: game as well. We'll see. Obviously, we did see KCA. Drew: He didn't practice yesterday. Amanda: Yeah, well, we'll see. Casey's Concepcion did get hurt it with that concussion. I don't know if he'll clear protocols or not. If he doesn't, that only frees up more room for Denzel Boston. They tried throwing the ball to Bond last week, and I don't think they'll continue to try to do that as often. He didn't catch the ball. He can't catch the ball. So, Drew: no, they threw the ball to Isaiah Bond last week, but he didn't catch it. Amanda: in my opinion, Denzel Boston, they're like, Okay, we gotta scheme up to this dude because apparently Bond is not going to be catching a lot of balls. so yeah, I think this will be a a a great matchup for him and a great play in the wide receiver role this week. Drew: just caveat for everybody, Denzel Boston is qu questionable. He was limited at practice on Wednesday. So just make sure you're checking the injury reports and that's just a PSA for everybody. Don't set your lineup on Wednesday and forget it. You gotta check it on Sunday morning. Or Saturday Amanda: Ya burrs No Check it check it check it twice Check it once check it twice Drew: yeah, Saturday evening should always be checked because of the 9 30 games that we keep having. Amanda: Love it. Drew: all right. Tight end of the week, tight end sweetheart of the week is gonna be Dallas Goddard. plays the Carolina Panthers. Carolina Panthers, one of the worst teams against tight ends so far this year. they have been eaten alive by a couple different teams, including the Cleveland Browns, and we know how Fannon has struggled this year. Well, he had like eleven targets against Carolina. That is where you can attack this defense. coming off nine targets, six for thirty eight last week. So the the fantasy result didn't necessarily show how involved Dallas Goddard was. So Nine targets is a ton of targets, especially for a tight end. Six catches is great. Thirty eight yards is not great, although that is the Dallas Goddard plan is high receptions, low yards. He just didn't get in the end zone last week. If he gets in the end zone, it's a gr it was a great play. So I am firing him up again this week against the Carolina Panthers. Amanda: Yeah. I'm looking at a little bit more of a, you know, i do you need a guy this week in the tight end position? Are you streaming that position? I think Tyler Higby is a great play this week. A little bit more of a rogue name here. obviously tight end injuries has allowed him to consolidate most of those targets in the tight end position since week three. So he's Drew: They're mostly back though. Amanda: yeah, I'm still not worried about it. I still think they're gonna keep rolling with it. They're one p Kobe Parkinson is still questionable. didn't play. So I yeah, so I Drew: Yeah. And Terrence Ferguson's still out, obviously. I think he's in. Amanda: I think this is a great option. He's had eleven targets, six targets, six targets since week three. So, like targets are there. They're throwing the ball to him, they're targeting him. again, a very, you know, pass heavy offense right now, which we love to see from a fantasy relevant standpoint. They've needed to stay in games and go down the field and win games. So Tyler Higby would be a great play this week against the Cardinals defense. Drew: Absolutely. All right. My defense of the week is gonna be the Pittsburgh Steelers. I am attacking Jalon Daniels again, just like I did last week. The only difference, Pittsburgh's an actually good defense, and Dallas and Dallas is fucking awful. I feel good about this one. I felt good last week. I feel better about this week. So Pittsburgh Amanda: Drew feels good about this one. Drew: is a good defense. They actually have good players, and I think Dallas might have two good defensive players on their entire team. Pittsburgh's full of them. either they're either good or they're dirty, like Minka Fitzpatrick. Just take another shot Amanda: shut up. Drew: at him. so yes, last week was in my opinion, a fluke with Jalen Daniels. He played decent. He didn't play great. It was just Dallas left guys open on third and long. If they didn't allow those third and twenties to happen, or I don't know, they actually contained the quarterback in the pocket like they were supposed to, Jalon Daniels was gonna be in trouble. So I Amanda: Yeah. Drew: have a feeling you're gonna get one of the TJ Watt strip sacks that happens about, I don't know, eight times a year. So Amanda: Excited. Drew: yeah, that that's it's gonna be a great matchup. Amanda: Yeah, I said that we were talking, I like, Drew, is is Jalen Daniels actually decent or is the Cowboys defense just that bad? And I think the answer is the Cowboys defense is just in fact that bad. Drew: Yeah. Jalen Daniels is just very, very fast. So he he escaped. Amanda: Quick. Shifty. Drew: Yeah, he he's a read the first target. If the first route and the first target's not there, he's going to take off. He might Amanda: Scramble. Drew: now he might take off and look for passes downfield, which is great. He's not just looking to run when he gets out of the pocket. He is looking to throw, which is a very good trait that they can build upon for the future. But he's not sitting in the pocket long enough to see a second or a third target. which means as a defense, you need initial pressure and then you just need your ends to contain him and make him sit in the pocket and throw. If they do that, they're gonna confuse him with the coverage and they're gonna pick the ball off. Amanda: Absolutely. my defense of the week here is Kansas City coming off a bye. Guys are rested and ready to go. So that helps a little bit there too. and they're playing against none other than Justin Herbert, who has Drew: Yeah. Amanda: looked unfortunate. So talk about guys coming off rest, bodies healed up a little bit, playing against a very struggling offense right now. Drew: one of the most injured teams you could possibly imagine. Their offensive line is they've got nobody left. Amanda: Yes. I mean, it's bad. Just gone. Yes. And so you can see it. Obviously, you know, we can say that, you know, Justin Herbert has no time. He doesn't, but he also doesn't look good all at the same time. So give me Kansas City's defense against a struggling offense. Drew: It's forcing him to f yeah, it's f the not having any time and getting pressure quick is making him force the ball too much. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Or just I mean, he's getting happy feet, which you can't really blame a guy if you're getting hit that often. You're gonna get happy feet in the pocket, you're gonna throw the ball off time, you're gonna squeeze it Amanda: No, you get hit that often. Yeah. I couldn't imagine Drew: in. Amanda: these large men threatening my life every time I'm trying to throw the football and getting hit so much that you're like, you're anticipatory, like it's just crazy. Yeah. All right. Drew: It's it's not a great feeling. Yeah. Yep. All right, that was our sweethearts of the week. Amanda: I love it. Let's get into some injuries before we set off with our week six matchups. Drew: We'll do pull it up here. All right. Injuries. It's pretty long list. We'll go through relatively quickly. Lamar. I'm gonna pull this over so I actually talk into the microphone. Amanda: That's helpful for, you know, people hearing us, you know? We do have a podcast. Drew: no. There we go. Nope. Still don't want to do that. All right, here we go. Lamar Jackson, DNP on Wednesday. We had talked about him, or Amanda had brought him up a little bit. so he did not practice on Wednesday. They're still hopeful that he'll be back this weekend. as a fantasy manager of two of my teams have Lamar, I want him back. As a Cleveland Browns fan, I don't want him to be back. So really internally conflicted about this one. Caleb Williams, full participant Wednesday. He is trending towards coming back and playing. So hopefully over the next week or two we will be able to see what their offense actually will look like. Are their receivers gonna be valuable? Is Colston Loveland even worthy of keeping on a roster anymore? We'll see over the next couple weeks. Michael Penix, full participant Wednesday, so hopefully he plays. If not, I'm pretty much out on everyone but Bijan for the Falcons 'cause Tua sucks. He's done. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Zach Charbonnet officially out this week, so you'll get another week of Emmanuel Wilson. Amanda: he's ready to ruin lives though, soon. Drew: Yeah, he is. David Montgomery groin DNP Wednesday, I would expect him to be out this week. Saquon DMP Wednesday, hamstring, I would also expect him to be out this week. Will Shipley, obviously we know he's gonna be out for a couple weeks. So Damien Pierce, welcome to the welcome back to the NFL. He looked he looked awful too. I mean really bad. Between the so Amanda: Welcome back to the NFL. Well God could Drew: the between the Eagles offensive line and Damien Pierce not looking good. Amanda: See, I think it's also I think I think Damian Pierce kind of like Austin Eckler. Like he came back and he said, Like, I'm not your lead back. I am a r relief third down type of dude. Like, is that he's not? Drew: Damian Pierce isn't that though. No, no, no, no. Damien no, Damian Pierce is a first down, second down run between the tackles type of guy. Amanda: Okay, okay. Drew: And unfortunately, you can't do that if your offensive line is terrible. and Damian Pierce is also like not the fastest dude in the world. So a slow lumbering back behind a bad offensive line, not good. Amanda: Not good. Drew: in other words, I do not play Damian Pierce this week, even if it's he's by himself. Quinch on Junkins, D on DNP on Wednesday. I don't think he's playing. Menungai, DNP Wednesday. Don't think he's playing this week as well. Amanda: Mm. Drew: Dylan Sampson, DNP Wednesday. I don't foresee him playing. So you're gonna get a backfield for Cleveland that is Jaleel Amanda: Scary. Drew: McLaughlin and I don't even know what who the other dude is, the rookie that Amanda: gosh, I don't either. I can look it up. Yeah. Drew: we'll find it during the nah, we'll see it during the matchups. Trayvon Henderson, limited Wednesday, might be able to play this week. Brees Hall, considered week to week still, so I would expect him not to play. Dalton Schultz, limited Wednesday, Kenyon Sadiq, still coming back from concussion, so check in on that. For the wide receivers, Devontae Smith still DNP on Wednesday. DNP did not practice. I know I've said it a bunch in case you guys don't know, it's did not practice. DNP with a hamstring, so we'll see if he can make it back. Nico limited, Rashad Limited. I expect both of them to play. Denzel Boston Limited. Casey Conception. It's a head injury, so he has to be cleared. on exciting news, AJ Brown, they did open his twenty one day window for return, and he did a limited practice on Wednesday. So it's possible that he comes back this week. If not this week, I would expect him back next week. and it looks like Joshua Palmer might come back for the Bills this week. DJ Moore, not so sure. Amanda: Coker, right? Coker's coming back too, it sounds like. Drew: Yeah, he's not on the injury report, so he Amanda: Well, yeah. He should be making his I heard some reports that he should be making his way back to lineups this week too, so Drew: Yeah, I don't have him in the report, so I I would expect him to be back this week. Amanda: All right, cool. Well, injury updates. We'll probably hash out some more stuff as we get into matchups here, but we're gonna talk all of our week six matchups. As a reminder, we have multiple fantasy relevant teams on by. So we have the Bengals, the Lions, the Dolphins, and the Vikings. So make sure you double check your lineup and get those guys out of your lineups. again. Friendly reminder: guys who play the earliest should go in their positional spots. So we're gonna talk Thursday night football here first. We have a London game as well. So make sure you're looking at who plays first and getting them moved appropriately in your lineups. You have flexibility later in the week. Our first matchup of the week: Seattle versus Denver. the betting line has Seattle favorite at two and a half and the over-under set at 40.5. Drew: Yeah, this is the Thursday night matchup. Amanda: This is the Thursday night matchup. Yep, we are hitting the ground running here soon tonight, anyways. Not a overly exciting matchup, in my opinion. however, no brainers, you're starting JSN. I think Emmanuel Wilson is a perfectly great start this week as well in the running back position. And that's pretty much the only part of the Seattle Seahawks I'm looking at, other than their defense. Drew: Yeah, yeah, I would play their defense as well. and we'll go after defenses here at the end. But Emmanuel Wilson and JSN are the are the two starts for Seattle and then Denver. this is where it gets a little bit Amanda: No. Drew: more difficult. I've already had a lot of questions in our Patreon on specifically Denver players. look, I Bonex is a full sit. I don't think that I'm Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. Drew: playing him whatsoever. A lot of questions on Amanda: What are you doing with Waddle? Drew: do I play I was gonna running backs. With Waddle, I I attempt to sit Waddle if I can. Amanda: Okay, so like would you play Romeo Dubbs ahead of Jalen Waddle? Drew: That was Amanda: question you didn't want me to ask you. Drew: So the problem there is they're both really bad matchups and I don't Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: I am not a believer in Romeo Dubbs. So Amanda: No, I would play Waddle over dubs personally. Drew: Yeah, I I probably play waddle over dubs, but like to be frank, I'm not trying to play either of those two players and like I'm seriously considering like a lot of waiver wire guys over those two this week. both in terrible matchups and neither one has impressed me this year at all. So like I I'm really, really trying to sit both of those players. Amanda: Would you flex like double flex a tight end with a mid tight if you have a top tier tight end and then you can grab a mid tier tight end with a good matchup like Pratt Fryermuth or Bretton Drew: Pratt Amanda: Stran Pratt Pratt Fryermuth or like Bretton Strange, would you do that? Drew: Y yeah, I I would play I would play Pat Fryermouth over either of these two if I could flex a tight end, you know, if if I could fit that in my lineup. Yeah, I would absolutely do that because I don't like the matchups and quite frankly I don't like the players or the the the teams this year the way they've been playing. you know, I'm also looking at guys like do I play a Brian Thomas Jr. against Houston or Jacoby Myers against Houston. I I think I play either of those two. I think I play BTJ Amanda: Myers I'd play Myers before BTJ. Drew: possibly. Amanda: You're crazy. Drew: Now that that yeah, no, I think I do. Yeah. Yes. Yeah, Amanda: I wouldn't. Are you playing JK Dobbins? Yeah, same here. Okay. Drew: I d the the a the expectation needs to be lower this week, but the volume is there, so I I I'm gonna play JK. Amanda: Yeah. Sean Payton took control over obviously JK got most of the work when that happened. I I believe JK will continue to get most of the work too, as long as barred injuries. And I would play J.K. Dobbins ahead of Jalen Waddle. I'd feel more comfortable with it. Drew: Yeah, be I think the floor is a lot better. Amanda: Mm. Denver defense. Drew: you didn't mention RJ Harvey. I am not playing RJ Harvey. Yes, I am as well. Amanda: RJ Harvey. I would set him. Full set, full set. Drew: Now, this could be a game where he gets ten targets because they can't run the ball and they can't throw it down the field. So there's just chance. Amanda: I'm not trusting it, yeah. Drew: But like if I'm the only re the only way I'm playing him is if I'm absolutely desperate and I've got injuries and bye weeks and I just need a guy that can get you know, he can score double digit points with just voluming his way in receptions. So I would rather play him over, you know. a Chris Rodriguez or somebody that I need, Amanda: Kenneth Gainwell. Drew: yes, I would play him over Kenneth Gainwell. Just guys that like aren't really seeing the ball at all and that don't have a high upside. So yes. both defenses, I think both Amanda: Yeah. Okay. Denver defense. Yep. Drew: defenses can be played. Amanda: I agree. we've watched Sam Darnold throw more and more interceptions. I think this is a good option. All right, next up, this is the London game. So nine thirty AM Eastern Standard Time is when this kicks off. So sorry for you, Pacific Standard Time folks. Houston versus Jacksonville. Jacksonville did spend this entire past week in London as well. So double games there. Betting line has Jacksonville flavored at two and a half and the over under set at 42.5. I mean, Houston, I think, is is easy. You're playing Nico Collins. That's the only wide receiver I'm really looking at here. obviously I'm gonna wait and see what happens with Marv, but that's not someone you're forcing in your lineup right away. and I don't even know if he'll play or not, but nonetheless, Woody Marks, I think, is a running. Drew: If Marv plays, I think he's a sneaky play. Amanda: Ew. Ew, ew, ew, ow, you think just so solely because of the connection from CJ and Marv previously. Drew: Three reasons. One, the connection between Marv and CJ. And that connection is not something that needs to be built. It just needs to be Amanda: No, it's there. Drew: refreshed. So that's good. So you can start quicker there. two, Marv is not gonna sandbag anymore. And I truly and honestly believe he was trying to get himself traded from Arizona. So he Amanda: He hated, okay. Drew: just wasn't trying to just basically get me out of here. Amanda: Which is insane behavior because like does that not take away from his value or pay? Yeah, you're right. Okay. Drew: Takes away from his trade value, but he doesn't give a shit about that. Why would he care what Arizona gets back for him? and no, it's not gonna take care of pay. Like less teams would be interested in trading for you, but all he needs is just to get out of there and then show what he can do. and and three, it's a really good matchup for receivers. Jacksonville Amanda: It is. Drew: is a pass funnel team, so I think it's a great matchup. I think they could try to show him off and Marv wants to prove that he can still be that dude. So I could s I could see that being a good play this week. I also think like maybe it's a good trade for Target right now if you can get cheap. Only if you can get cheap. I don't think so. I think Amanda: Yeah. Yeah, if you can get s I mean, you should be able to get cheap. Yeah, or pick up. Drew: people they see the trade and they go, nope, I'm gonna sell for high now. but anyway, yeah, Woody Marks, good there. Amanda: Yeah. mm. Drew: I think CJ Shroud's a decent play this week. What do you think? Amanda: Flex option. yeah, I don't think it's he's been playing way more Drew: Lax. Amanda: flex. I mean stream. He's been playing way more consistently. I I think that there's a a decent amount of streaming quarterback options this week. s yep. Drew: Bryce Young against Philadelphia or CJ Stroud? Amanda: I'd probably go Bryce Young. Drew: Patrick Mahomes. Amanda: Yeah, Patrick Mahomes. Drew: Kirk Cousins. Amanda: I would play CJ Sterrow. Drew: Trevor Lawrence, same game. Shocker. All Amanda: I yeah, T Law. I know. Drew: right. Amanda: When you have an allegiance, you just hold down. You hold down strong. Anywho, Dalton Schultz, full sit, and looking at the Jags we have. T Law, I think, is a fine play this week. Parker, great play. I would preference Myers ahead of BTJ. if you were desperate, I guess you could go down the but would you go BTJ or Marv? If you had to be desperate. How about Bourne, Marv or? Drew: Marv. Marv assuming that he's playing and the news is that he's a full go. So y this is one where you ha well, it's not just a full Amanda: Okay. Yeah, well obviously, yes. Kent contacts matters. Drew: go from injury, but like it's a full go of like I don't know how much Amanda: He's gonna be fully playing. Drew: I don't know how much of the playbook he knows, and so if they're like, he's gonna be in in a limited amount, like a limited package, then I I then I don't want to play him. But like 'cause like knowing the playbook is takes time, so it depends on how much he's gonna be playing. Amanda: Yeah. Would you play Kendrick Bourne, BTJ? Drew: Kendrick Bourne, that's against the Rams. Amanda: Rams. Drew: If I need a floor play, I'm playing Kendrick Bourne. If I need a ceiling Amanda: If you need a boom. Drew: play, I'm playing BTJ. Amanda: Okay. yeah I think Jacoby Myers is a is a good play this week. He's been involved more often. So Bretton Strange, Drew: Yep. Amanda: I think, is a fine streaming tight end option if you need one. He's fallen in that Pratt Firemuth range. and then defense. Drew: You t running backs? Amanda: Oops, I like skipped right over Biscoot and Tutin. Drew: You have for like three straight teams. Amanda: man. Byshell, I'm so sorry. yeah, I think you have to play Tutin, however, temper your expectations. Drew: Bishaw Tutin, yes. Tootin's an okay play this week. obviously playing against a tough defense, but he is getting, you know, so much of the work. I think it's a good play. Amanda: I would play Marshawn Lloyd ahead of Boots Guten Tutin. Drew: Ew. Amanda: Sue me. Uh-huh. Sue me, I wanna be one it I like it. I like it. Drew: Ooh. both defenses again in this matchup are good plays. Amanda: Yes. All right. Tennessee versus Indianapolis Colts. I didn't call them Indiana on accident. Betty Line has the Colts favored at seven and a half and the over-under set at forty-four point five. all right, so Drew: Mm-hmm. Running backs. Amanda: running backs for the Tennessee Titan. I almost I almost did it too. I almost went right to Cardell Tate. Drew: Yeah, I just want to make sure, like, just for every for everybody for everybody that's listening, our matchups, we've got spreadsheets, right? That we can kind of go through all the all the players on all the teams. And every matchup has both teams, and then it goes team by team, and it goes quarterbacks, then running backs, then receivers, then tight ends. And for some reason, Amanda has decided to go quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, Amanda: Wide receivers, run it back. Drew: maybe running backs. And then like the next Amanda: Defenses. Drew: team. Like it's yeah, it's wild that she's not going straight down the list. It's like the most sporadic A D D thing I've ever seen her do. And I'm not, so like I need to go straight down the list. So my brain is Amanda: I'm a type B crazy to my core. Okay, so anyways, no, homie, Drew: thinking, go straight down. Amanda: this man is probably actually like twitching slightly, and I'm just like, fuck it, full scent. I'm like I'm like the Drew: I almost stopped the podcast and said, Hey, let's go straight down the list. You're skipping running backs. Amanda: crazy secondborn child. You know how people talk about like my firstborn convinced me to have a second, and the second one is like a literal fucking chaos. That's me in this relationship. I am just the secondborn child. All right. Kim Ward, negative ghost rider. Both running backs Drew: No, he's terrible. God, he sucks. Amanda: are like low key injured, but like I'd play Pollard if I needed to. If he's if he plays, I know. That's what I saw DNP Drew: Yeah, Pollard was a DNP, so Amanda: and then ty Spears at the limit of practice, like the book. Drew: Yeah, let me check real quick 'cause I don't think he was on the injury report that I had. Amanda: Yeah, i I mean if for some reason, you know, Spears is i is both of them are cleared and they both play, I would play Pollard, I would not play Spears. Drew: that's why. Amanda: What? Drew: A veteran day arrest, he's fine. Amanda: Okay, cool. Then we're good. I would play Pollard. It's a good matchup for him. It it's an easy to run against defense for the Colts. So how how do we feel about Carnell Tate? Like, where are you living with this? Cause like he really just like catfished the shit out of us. It was a hard matchup, but it's Cam Ward. Drew: It's not him. No, it's not him. It's Cam Ward sucks. I think if it's a good matchup, you play him. If it's a bad matchup, you don't. And this is basically right down the middle. Amanda: So is this a good matchup? It is right down the middle. Drew: so I I I think you can flex him if you need him. If you've got bi Amanda: All right. Drew: if you've got bye weeks or injuries, but he's not a guy that I'm like, yes, you need to get him in your lineup. Amanda: Okay, I'm giving you names. JCM Carnell Tate. Drew: You're going running back first. Washington Amanda: Yep, I'm just really gonna shock. Drew: against San Francisco. JCM's the floor play, so you play him if you need a floor. Amanda: Okay, Roma Dunze, Carnell Tate. Drew: Roma Dunce. Amanda: Devon Vale, Carnel Tate. Drew: Devon Bailey. Amanda: Jalen Waddle, Carnality. Drew: Carnel tape. Amanda: Okay. yeah, I agree with with most of you there. And that's the only wide receiver I'm looking at. I'm not gonna go down the Wandale rabbit hole. I think there's other flex Drew: No, no, no. Amanda: plays with great matchups this week. Coker being one of them has a good matchup. Drew: Yeah, to be fair, I don't care how good the matchup is, I'm not playing any other Tennessee wide receivers ever unless something changes because Cam Ward Amanda: Because yeah, yeah. The Drew: looks so bad. Amanda: Yeah. all right. For the Colts out on Danny Dimes, Jonathan Taylor, obviously. the wide receiver room is banged. so Josh Downs limited practice, Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Keenan Allen do not practice, so Drew: If Josh Downs plays, I think he's a good play. Amanda: My god, I've said that for three fucking weeks now, Drew. I need it to actually be a good play. I've played this motherfucker and I'm pissed off at this motherfucker. Drew: Well this is the last this is the this is the last week. If it doesn't happen this week then I'm I'm gonna pull the plug until I see it. But Amanda: God, I know it's the one week that I finally put his ass on my bench, he drops a twenty burger and I'll be so pissed. So I'm gonna trust the plot as well. Drew: Yeah, Keenan Allen was a DNP. I'm gonna assume that that was a veteran day arrest. Amanda: veteran, 'cause he's old. Drew: Yeah, it was. Amanda: Elderly. Tyler Warren, lock and loaded. Drew: Do you know how old Keenan Allen actually is? Amanda: is he's gotta be our age or younger. Or is he our age? Or thirty-four Drew: He is our age. Yep. Amanda: for the record. He's got it's you know what is makes it hard about Keen Allen's age is his receding hairline really throws me for a loop. Drew: He doesn't have a receding hairline. He cut his all of its hair off. He's got no hair left. Yeah, he's bald. Amanda: did he cut it all off? well f I've seen pictures of like just like like the Mike Evans situation that like should be shaved. Like shave it, buddy. Get it gone. Say goodbye to it. Drew: Yeah. Mike Evans is I think Mike Evans is younger than we are. He is. Amanda: I'm sure he is, but the receding hairline makes him look older. Either go get Drew: By one year. Amanda: a toupee. There's great I get targeted on TikTok all the time. There's some toupee girls out there who just fucking crush it. These men look sexy after their toupees are on. Okay. Like it's like they do great. Go get a toupee, Mike Evans, or shave your head. Just one or the other. Why not? It's like girls getting it get Drew: Don't ever get a toupee. No. Don't ever. Amanda: like getting extensions for women. Drew: I okay. Amanda: I'll show you some two pay videos because like I think you could be changed your mind. They look good. Drew: Also, like, I don't look at a girl with extensions and think anything different. Maybe I don't notice but Amanda: Okay, but like tell me as a male who has like a you don't have ever seen a hairline, Drew has like the most immaculate hairline one of us ever has ever witnessed, and his hair is spectacular. So you've never dealt with male pattern baldness, but Drew: You're welcome. Also, neither side of also neither side of my family has balding like close to like my both both my grandfathers. Amanda: Yeah, my dad is full ass bald, so I Drew: Yeah, both my grandfathers on both sides of my family hair till they died. One was in his nineties. The other Amanda: His grandpa had cancer like twice and it grew back both times better. Like Drew: After chemo it grew back amazing both times. Amanda: It's insane. All right. Anyways, I digress. The Colts are a good play for defense. Even yeah, I already said Tyler Lauren lock and loaded. Yeah, I did. Go back. And the Colts defense. Drew: Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren, you didn't mention him. And the Colts defense. Well, you got me talking about my awesome hair. Amanda: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways. All right. Next matchup we have Carolina Panthers versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Betty Line has Carolina favored at one and a half and the over under set at thirty nine point womp womp five. Drew: Yeah, it's pretty gross. Amanda: It is pretty gross. I do think Bryce Young is a fine quarterback play this week. Drew: He's okay. I He's okay. Yeah, I'm not as high on him Amanda: Trust the plot. Okay, would you start? Drew: this week as you are. Amanda: Would you start CJ Stroud or Bryce Young? Drew: I think I play CJ Stroud. Amanda: You crazy. I wouldn't. Okay, Drew: Mm-hmm. I might be, but I think I play CJ Stroud. Amanda: I wouldn't. even though every time me and Drew have talked about quarterbacks, like he's I always guess wrong. Always gets it right. So maybe you do listen to Drew. Chuba Hubbard, hard matchup for the running back position, but it he's a play. Yeah. Drew: Doesn't matter. Yeah. Amanda: Tet McMillan, you're throwing him in your lineup. And Jalen Coker is also a fine play this week too. Drew: Absolutely. Both great plays. Darren Waller, it's not a great week for him. If you've got a guy on a bye or an injured guy, he he's again the same way he always is. He could catch two touchdowns, so it's he's Amanda: Yeah. Drew: a better option than some of these other tight ends, like a let me throw out I mean, I'd play him over Kyle Pitts this week. I'd play him over Dalton Schultz, I'd play him over Hunter Henry. I'd play him over Mark Andrews just for the shot that you're gonna score a touchdown or two. So you never know. Amanda: All right, all right. for the Eagles, Jalen Hurts, this is a good matchup for him. Do you w would Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: you play him ahead of Bryce Young? Drew: yeah. For sure. Yep. Yep. Amanda: Interesting. Okay. we already talked about the wide the running back room. I really don't want any piece of unless for some reason Saquon Barkley plays. but I'm not touching anyone else. And then the wide receiver room's just iffy. If Smith plays, I play Smith. Drew: Yeah, this is the hardest one because we don't know who's gonna play. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I don't think Smith is gonna come back. If Smith's not there, there's one option and it's Makai Lemon. I don't think it's Amanda: Yeah, I agree. Like I don't Drew: Dontavian Wicks. I think it's Makai Lemon. I think Amanda: No Drew: they're they're starting to use him a lot more. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. Rookies don't normally start off really, really good as rookies. It takes them half a season. Amanda: crockpotted up. Drew: Even for expect especially for high high draft picks, which he was, they're gonna start getting him more involved. Jalen Hurts is ha they have to throw the ball more. Their offensive line is banged up, so they can't run the ball very well. They're down to Damian Pierce, who is a practice squad player. So this to me is a y you play Jalen Hurts, you play Dallas Godd a good matchup, and then if Smith is out, I think you can flex Mikhail Lemon. Amanda: I do agree with you on that. And then you already mentioned Dallas Goddard, but that's a great play. Drew: Also, what Makai Lemon doesn't what so the reason I don't like Dontavian Wicks either is because one, he's not good enough to command wide receiver one targets. So he is on the outside and Darius Cooper's on the outside. And Darius Cooper is a very good deep ball and red zone receiver, as we've seen. Amanda: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Drew: So if Jalen Hurts is going to toss one up, it's gonna be to Darius Cooper, which means Dontavian Wicks is in this weird area where he might get four targets, five targets, but I they're not super valuable and I I I don't think he's that good. So Amanda: No, I think last week was his best week and he like eleven points or something. Like it wasn't anything that you're gonna feel good about putting in your lineup, right? Drew: Yeah. It wasn't it wasn't great anyway. Yep. Amanda: how about defense? Panthers, Eagles, either defense you're looking at here. Drew: Think you can find better options out there. Amanda: I agree. Drew: the only thing I would say is let me look up. I assume that you don't you didn't hold Carolina's defense through the bye. If you did, maybe don't drop because they get Tampa Bay next week. So keep an eye out on that one. Amanda: Mm. That's why I didn't move on from the Steelers last week. I just said full send and wanted them this week. Mm-hmm. Drew: I did as well because yeah, because I won them this week. Philadelphia, they have Carolina this week, then Dallas, then Washington. So probably not worth holding on to if if you've had Amanda: No. All right. We have divisional matchup, Baltimore Ravens versus the Cleveland Browns. Betting line has Baltimore favorite at five and a half and the over under set at forty two point five. if Lamar plays, you play Lamar. Do you agree with that? Okay. Derrick Henry, lock loaded. Zay Flowers, absolutely. Drew: Yep. Amanda: You got better options over Mark Andrews, six. Drew: Yep. Easy peasy. Amanda: Cleveland. I have no idea what's happening with the running back room, but I'm not playing Jilliel McLaughlin. And it's Audric Estime is the other running back. Drew: Gross. No, it was Raheem Raheem Sanders is who I was thinking of. He is hurt. That's why I was thinking of him, but he's hurt. Yeah, I I this is Denzel Boston. Yep. That's it. Amanda: Yeah. I thought he was hurt. Didn't he get hurt? Okay. Got it. I think the only really startable people here is Denzel Boston, Harold Fanner Jr. And like I've had a lot of people ask, should I be moving on from Harold Fanner Jr.? Not after last week. Throw that week in the trash. It was so disgusting. Like Drew: Yeah. Amanda: I wouldn't worry about that. Like he has been getting used more. It was a sad start. He is getting used more. Watson is not useless as a quarterback right now. don't decide your make your decision off of last week. It was just a really disgusting week. Defense. Drew: Baltim excuse me, Baltimore. Amanda: With or without only Baltimore with the voice crack, of course, not without the voice crack. Whatever. We used to do that Drew: Baltimore. Baltimore defense. Amanda: as kids, like in grade school, like, yeah, but it's crack. We used to make fun of people so bad. Drew: yeah, I know. I I was one of the ones that either would Yeah, I was a kid and I was a man, so voice cracked Amanda: Were you a kid? I didn't know you were a child at one point. Drew: and the deepening of the voice was a lot more pro prominent. Amanda: my God, I didn't tell you this. When I was with Ben, Ben started to explain the puberty process to me that his voice was gonna be dropping soon and I should be prepared for it. Our ten year old nephew. I was like, bro, I it's not my first time living life. Like I'm I'm old. I know. Yeah, like I I Drew: Yeah. Yeah. Yes, I went through pu puberty. Thank you. All right. Chicago versus Chicago versus Atlanta. Chicago favored by one and a half on the road and over under a delicious fifty one points. Delicious, yes. Amanda: Delicious. Sexy. Drew: I like delicious more. Amanda: Alright, cool. if Khaleb Khalib plays, you play Khaleb. Drew: Caleb Williams. Yep. Yep. Amanda: Cool. DeAndre Swift hurt, banged Drew: Yes. Amanda: up, Mr. Swift himself. Do you at this point are you picking up Rashawn Johnson as like a safety net? What if Swift actually hurts himself one of these weeks? No? You're just full send? Okay. Okay, cool. Drew: Nope. I'm not. Yep. Amanda: I almost did it just because I traded you, Swift, and I like, I'm gonna pick up Rashawn Johnson just so you're fucked if Swift goes down. Spite, spite. Drew: I don't care, that lease sucks anyway. Amanda: Luther Burden, Roma Dunsey, Kali Fraymond. Drew: rr Luther Burden, yes. Rome yes. Amanda: No. It was a mergent break glass flex in my opinion. Drew: I think you can play both of them with confidence. If Caleb is out there. Amanda: I asked you, you said rum over Tate, right? Okay. Drew: Yes. Amanda: I guess I am forgetting that Caleb Williams is coming back, so that does make a difference. Drew: If Caleb is out there, I am fine with Luther, with Rome, full go on both of them. And I am out on Loveland this week. It's a Amanda: Mr. Loveland. Yeah. Drew: bad matchup. Amanda: Yeah. Also, like I wanna see what's gonna happen if Loveland doesn't get involved more. It's be gonna become a thing where you just don't need to waste your bench spot. You can't anymore. Atlanta Falcons. No quarterback interested in. Obviously, you're gonna start B. John Robinson no matter what. Same thing with Drake London. Those are the only place Yeah. That's it. No. Drew: Bijan and Drake are in no matter what, and it doesn't matter who the quarterback is, no one else is in play for me. Amanda: No, absolutely not. defensively two up plays. Do you play the Bears? Drew: If if if Tuo plays you can definitely play the Bears defense. In fact, I would attack and try to go get the Bears defense. Yeah. Amanda: And that's one you could make a light decision on if you're like, I might play this defense, but I think I might have better options. That's one of those like it presents itself to you, take it. Drew: Yeah. And I would assume that they're probably not rostered in very many leagues. Amanda: No. They'cause they're not very good. All right. Pittsburgh versus Tampa Bay. Pittsburgh is favored at two and a half and the over under is set at thirty nine and a half. So not great. However, Aaron Rodgers has been throwing some decent balls. You know, he's been moving around. Jalen Warren. Drew: He he's been playing well. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: did you meant you just said Aaron Rodgers, did you actually say to play him or not? Amanda: no, I'm not playing Aaron Rodgers. Drew: No, no, I mean I now with context here though, because he's been playable for Amanda: Yeah. Drew: weeks and he's been twenty plus points, Tampa Bay's defense is is good. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: I don't play Aaron. Look what the what they did to Dak last week. so Aaron is not a play this week. Jalen Warren is an obvious play this week. Jalen Warren's a weekly play until he doesn't get the amount of work that he is, if that changes. and Pat Fryermouth is a good play this week. biggest questions here are receivers, DK and Jeremy Bernard. A really bad matchup for receivers, but the workload and the fact that there are a lot of receivers on bye this week. What do you think? Do you play them or not? Amanda: Yeah. How about it I'll DK Metcalf? probably play him. I mean yeah. I mean I would play him Drew: Last week was his worst week in targets by far. He only had four Amanda: Yeah. Drew: and two of them were screen passes. Amanda: I mean, people are hurt there's what Jeremy and DK are are too main other than like a scoronic and then the tight ends. Drew: Coronic's out. Amanda: He's out too. Drew: Yeah, he's w got hurt like week two or three. Yeah Amanda: Shit. So we have like DK, Jeremy, and Frymuth, and then maybe big ass Washington. Yeah. Drew: And Washington Yeah. Amanda: Would you play Tony Pollard or DK Metcalf? Drew: DK Metcalf. Also, I was the one asking the questions. Don't try to sidestep. I saw Amanda: No, I I didn't I didn't want to answer. Drew: what you did there. DK Metcalf or first of all, would you play DK Metcalf or Jeremy Bernard? You play DK? DK Amanda: I'd play DK Metcalf. Mm-hmm. Drew: Metcalf or Ooh, that's too far down. Jacoby Myers. Amanda: DK Mecca. Drew: a Mekka Ibuka. Amanda: DK Metcalf. Drew: Romeo Dubbs. Amanda: DK Metcalf. I play DK Metcalf. Would you Drew: So you're playing DK Metcalf then, 'cause you're at a point now that you're playing DK Metcalf. Amanda: play Tony Poller or DK Metcalf? Drew: TK Mecf. Amanda: Okay. So apparently we're playing Drew: All right. Amanda: DK Metap. Drew: yeah. Jeremy Bernard kind of falls on that next tier. I I'm not he's had a couple great weeks. The Amanda: The matchup's not that great. Drew: matchup's just really not good. So it th this is a if I've got a lot of injuries or bye weeks, then yes you can play him, but I'm not trying to force him into my lineup against a a good Tampa Bay defense. Amanda: No, I'd play Bourne ahead of Jeremy Bernard, Vale ahead of Jeremy Bernard. There's other like secondary options that I'd feel a little bit more comfortable with. And then I think Jeremy Bernard was a great pick up if you are rostering Jeremy Bernard for the future of maybe what if he continues to connect well and gets more involved. But I don't know if he's a play this week for my opinion. Drew: Alrighty, Tampa Bay, I think you play Bucky, obviously. Amanda: Just Bucky. Drew: just Bucky. Amanda: I don't think I play a Mecca Buka. But then again, I have zero balls and I wouldn't have played him last week and he did score seventeen points, but I'm scared. Yeah. Drew: That's again Cowboys defense. Bucky's a play, and then I believe that Eggbuka is like Eggbuka or Romeo Dubbs. Amanda: I play a a Gabooka. Yeah, that's yeah. Drew: Yeah, I do too. Egg Buka or Jeremy Bernard? Amanda: Yeah, I play a Gabooka. Drew: Yeah, i he's just right in that in that level. Like Buka or Jalen Waddle tonight. Amanda: Fuck. my god, I probably do too, and I don't like Drew: I play Mecca Buka Egg Buka. Yeah. Yep. Amanda: it. Drew: Yeah. Again, I don't love the play, and and I think you're probably gonna feel that way until Baker comes back. But you're also afraid Amanda: I'm scared of TJ Watt, dude. Yeah. we already said it. Drew: that Mika Fitzpatrick's gonna pull out a switchblade and you know he's so dirty. Amanda: Shut up. Get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out of here. Anyways, Pittsburgh. Drew: defenses, Pittsburgh, great. Yep, and that's it. Amanda: That's all we got. All right, New York Jets versus the New England Patriots. Betty Line has New England favored at seven and a half and the over underset at forty three point five. the Jets. No Geno Smith. Now you're jumping around. Fuck man. Okay, go ahead. Drew: Garrett Wilson. No. No. It's because I was gonna make us I was gonna make this real quick. It's Garrett it's Garrett Wilson, it's Braylon Allen and move on. Amanda: Done. Okay, cool. And the New England Patriots Drew: Drake May, Ramondre Stevenson, and in my opinion, you move on. Yeah. I Amanda: That's it. Yeah, I don't think you play anyone else. I wouldn't. Drew: think that's all I do. I think there will be value here. I just I think it's too difficult to guess which of these receivers is gonna score a touchdown. Correct. Amanda: it's roulette wheel b betting. Like you might get really lucky and good for you if you do, but I'm not gonna take the bet 'cause I don't wanna lose. Drew: Yep. Yeah, not to mention you can run on the Jets, so they may not throw it a lot. And if they do, Amanda: Yeah. Correct. Drew: the Jets also don't run a lot of plays. I j this could end up being a forty two to fourteen game, but like F din Chisholm scores a touchdown and Kyle Williams scores a touchdown and Ramondre gets a touchdown Amanda: And Hunter Henry scores a touchdown. Drew: and i a lot like last last week. So I just think it'll be difficult and if you play Romeo and he's not the one that gets a touchdown, he might be three for Thirty five, three for forty, and you're disappointed. Amanda: Direct May or Bryce Young? Drew: Drake May's a full play. A hundred percent. Yep. Amanda: Full play. Okay. He's back. Okay. All right. New Orleans s oo. Drew: Defenses, defenses. New England Patriots. Amanda: You play them against Mr. Geno Smith. Okay. Drew: my god, yeah. One of the best plays of the week. Amanda: Okay. New Orleans versus the New York Giants. betting line. New Orleans favorite at one and a half and the over underset at 46. Okay. Tyler Shuck. I think he's a fine play this week. It was bad last week. Yeah, you just had to. my God. It's funny. I saw someone on TikTok and it like Drew: Yeah, I think you can put back in your yeah, I think you can put back in the lineup. It's that tackle. Amanda: my my starting quarterback for the week out. s my quarterback on the bench with a bye outscored my starting quarterback of the week, Tyler Shuck. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Like Bryce Young out here scoring more points than Tyler Shuck in week five because he didn't play. Drew: That is as much to do with the offensive line as it d has it has to do with Tyler Shuck himself and Amanda: Yes. Yeah. The the best part about the Saints is is how much how many plays they go get off, so like you have more value in Tyler Shuck because of that. No. No. And same thing with Olave Drew: Yeah. And the Giants aren't a great defense, so I think you can play Tyler Shuck this week with some confidence. Amanda: and I think Vele is a fine flex play as well. Drew: Alave, Vele, Juwan Johnson, I think Amanda: On Johnson. Drew: they're all on your lineup. I think you can play Alvin if he's active. If he's not active, I think you can play Kendra Miller. Yep. Amanda: Ken J. Miller, yeah. I think he's a fine running back play this week. Specifically, I like Miller if Alvin's out, obviously. the New York Giants. Jameis Winston, I would pass. I think you have better quarterback Drew: Not this week. Amanda: options. Yeah. Cam Scataboo's a great play this week. Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely get locked and loaded in your lineup. And do you play the s yeah. Drew: Yep. Absolutely. I think both defen I think both defenses sh probably should be started in a Amanda: Yeah. Drew: majority of leagues. like twelve team or deeper. I think both of these defenses can be played. Amanda: Yeah, Shuck's definitely been a target with that tackle out, and Jameis likes to throw picks. What? Drew: That was the loudest drink of water you possibly could have had. Amanda: sorry. I tried to like do it quick too. That's why. All right. Muppy, muppy. No, leave it in. Leave it. Sorry Drew: That didn't make the noise any less loud. I might not even take that at I might not even edit that out. Just have a giant gulp. Amanda: about sorry about that. Arizona Cardinals versus the Los Angeles Rams. Betty Lime has Los Angeles favored at 12 and a half. Any overunder. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Fifty Drew: Just you're Amanda: Really funny. Drew: just bodying Arizona right now. Amanda: So much shit. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: I don't think Arizona's that shit either. Like that's so sad. Drew: Yeah, they are. They're y yes, they are. Their defense can't stop anybody. Amanda: No, okay, so I'm not playing Jacobes. I think you got better flex Drew: No. Amanda: options or stream options for a quarterback. What in the fuck are you doing with Jeremiah Love? Okay. Okay. Drew: Sitting him. Yep. If I can afford to sit him, I do. Amanda: So you're gonna play Marshawn Lloyd ahead of Jermi Jeremiah Love? Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Okay, I just like the Marshawn Lloyd example today. Drew: Yeah, it's the the injuries to his ankles and I I don't know if he'll play or not. Yeah, something's Amanda: His w weird verbiage, like he just seems depressed. Drew: going on and I I don't like it. And they're playing a good Rams defense, so I I sit Jeremiah Love this week. you Amanda: Michael Wilson, you play? Drew: you play Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne is a floor play. If you need a Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: guaranteed, you know, seven eight points, I think he's a good option there. Amanda: Yeah. By week two, he was a pickup for 'cause like I just needed somebody to play this week. Trey McBride, duh. Yeah. Drew: Yeah. Sure. And then Trey McBride. Yep. Now it is a bad matchup for Trey McBride, so Yeah, if he scores Amanda: It is. I almost took him on the under, but then I felt self conscious and worried about it. Drew: ten points, don't be surprised. You know, you might be upset with the amount of points he scores this week, but it's Trey McBride, so you have to play him. Amanda: Yeah. for the Rams, I do think Matt Stafford would be a streaming quarterback option for you this week. Not a bad matchup for him at all. Kevin Williams gets played no matter what. Puka Nakua, Devontae Adams, lock him in. And Tyler Higbee I like even more if all of the other tight ends miss, which it s sounds like they might, but even if Parkinson's back, I still think Higbee would be a great play this week, too. Drew: Until t until Terrence Ferguson comes back, Higby's their number one tight end, so yes. Amanda: Yeah. and then the Rams defense is, in my opinion, yeah. No? Drew: Absolutely not. I'm just kidding. Amanda: I was like, what the hell? Drew: Yes, you play them. Amanda: but that's it. Drew: Alright, let's finally get to the after is that what that was an afternoon. No, I thought we were finally getting Amanda: Are you f the best game? You're excited for this one? Yeah. Drew: to the four o'clock games. Amanda: Drew's starting Justin Herbert this week. All right, Los Angeles Chargers Drew: No I'm not. Amanda: versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas St see, this one would make more sense to have them favored at twelve and a half for me to lose my fucking shit over. But Kansas City favorite at eight and a half, overunder set at forty two point five. I think that overunder is just all Kansas City scoring, but whatever. Drew: I think this is either so there are two things that could happen here. I think either I think either I think either Amanda: Surprise upset. Call it, say it. Drew: I think either Los Angeles wins this game or they get beat by way more than eight and a half. Amanda: I think that like at some point, you know, they always say teams with in their own five. Like at some point they're gonna have to win. They're not gonna go in whatever. Okay, Drew: they don't have to. Amanda: they don't have to, but I would assume at some point they do. And it would be a very like Kansas City thing to happen, like to get beat by the Owen five Los Angeles Chargers. all right, Herbert Sit. Sit here off. Drew: The whole team. I'm not joking. I'm not playing a single Charger this week. I yep, I won't do it. I'm sitting all of them. I hate their team. I hate their Amanda: Hold on. Fuck them. I wouldn't either though, so you're not wrong. Okay. What if like you're in Drew: coaches. I hate what they're doing. Amanda: an emergency running back situation? Rate the Hampton Mitchell of it all conundrum. Drew: I've got no fucking clue. Amanda: You're in an emergency. You have to play one. Mitchell. I'm playing Keaton Mitchell. Drew: You can't make me. Amanda: I'm playing Keaton Mitchell if I had to. Drew: I probably play Kamani Vidal if I have to. No, I don't. I'm just kidding. I play I play O'Marion Hampton if I have to. Amanda: You play Keaton Mitchell too, okay. Drew: No, I play O'Marion Hampton if I have to out of those three. Amanda: Well, I'm gonna assume that Omar Hampton was already rostered and I had to pick up an emergency running back because I'm fucked and I have a big guy on by and I need someone and I had to pick up Keaton Mitchell, I'd play him. I'm okay with it. Okay. Drew: Fine. I if that's what you wanna if that's what you wanna put out in the ether, if you wanna tell the entire world that your love for Keaton Mitchell Amanda: I didn't tell the entire world to love Keaton Mitchell. I said break glass if fucking emergency status. Drew: I I'm sitting every charger that I have, which is none because I don't hate myself. I actually do have Omarion Hampton in two Amanda: All right, name I don't I don't have any of them. Drew: leagues. Amanda: yeah you do 'cause you were hot on you were hot on Hampton. I was not, and I don't have him anywhere and I'm very happy. I don't have little lad either. Drew: Well, I've gotten him in one one in redraft and one in Dynasty and that has not worked out. Amanda: Marked safe from the fucking Chargers this year. All right, Kansas City. Drew: All right, Kansas City. Amanda: Patty Mahomes. I think it's a fine flex. It's a difficult defense for him, but Drew: Not a flex. Amanda: fuck stream. Drew: I don't even think it's a stream. He's on teams. That's not a stream. Amanda: Okay, fine. I think it's a fine player that's all you Drew: There you go, it's a fine play this week. Amanda: Mr. Kenneth Walker, welcome back. Absolutely. Wide receivers. Drew: I think you can play worthy and rice if Amanda: Where the rice Drew: you need because of bye weeks or you know, if you just don't have good options. They're fine. They're mid thirties ranked for us at r at receiver. Amanda: Yeah. are you playing Mr. Kelsey? This is a hard defense for him. Drew: yeah, I I don't see how you're not going to. I mean, how many people have Kelsey and another option? Amanda: Probably none. Because Kelsey also came out hot. So like nobody picked up a secondary tight end if they have him. Unless for some reason you happen to roster someone la like maybe someone dropped Goddard and you got him last week again with Kelsey on a bye and you wanna go Goddard over Kelsey, I would be okay with that. Drew: Yeah, I I would play Juwan Johnson. I would play Amanda: Goddard. Drew: Yeah, I play God or if you've ha him, that's probably it that I would play over Kelsey, other than like the the big name guys. Obviously you're playing Bowers Amanda: yeah, your norms. Drew: and Kittle and McBride and Likely and all the guys that that produce weekly. Other than that, I I don't care about the matchup. I I who else is he gonna throw the ball to? Amanda: Yeah. and obviously we're gonna lock and load the Kansas City Chiefs defense here as well. Drew: Sure are. Amanda: All right, Buffalo Bills versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Betty Line has Buffalo favorite at four and a half and the over under set at fifty-three point five. So lovely over under here. Josh Allen, James Cook, and Keon Coleman, Drew: I think you can play Amanda: Shakir. Drew: I think you can play Khalil Shakir as a floor play if you need six points. Amanda: Yeah. Floor I I was gonna say five, six points. Drew: Yeah. other than that, unless DJ Moore's back, I don't want un I don't want any of their receivers. If DJ Moore's back, Amanda: No, what if Drew: then I play DJ Moore. Amanda: what if he misses? Would you be okay with flexing Keon Coleman? No. Okay. I mean, he literally just got one touchdown. That's the only reason he scored seven points. It was sad. And out. Do you? Drew: No. Not after what I saw last week. Yeah. N not after what I saw last week. Dalton Kincaid I think is a good play this week. Yep. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: Yep, really good matchup. they're they're gonna get him the ball. They're gonna throw the ball. Amanda: Okay. Okay. All right. Drew: I I have a feeling. Amanda: You have a feeling. the Las Vegas Raiders. gosh, injuries here allowed. Brock Bowers, easy. Play him. I don't really want any of the wide receiver room. And Ashton Genty, is he hurt? That's the only flex. Drew: Well, I don't know, Trey Tucker. I mean, they are playing Buffalo, so I Trey Tucker's a good play this week. Amanda: Trey Tucker or w we went over some like rogue names, Kendrick Bourne. Drew: Trey Tucker's got a higher upside. Amanda: Okay. Trey Tucker, Jacoby Myers. Drew: Trey Tucker. Amanda: Trey Tucker, BTJ. Yeah. Trey Tucker, Rome. Shut up. Shh. Drew: Trey Tucker, obviously. If I said if I said over if I said over Myers, I'm playing him over ch Amanda: Trey Tucker Rome. Drew: If Caleb's back I play Rome. If it's not Caleb then I play Trey Tucker. Amanda: Okay, one more. Trey Tucker, Carnell Tate. Drew: Trey Tucker. You think I'm gonna you think I'm gonna pick the res You think I'm gonna Amanda: All so Trey Tucker is in the conver wait, how about Trey Tucker, DK Metcalf? Drew: p Trey Tucker. Yeah, you Amanda: so we are team Trey Tucker. Drew: Yeah, yeah, Trey Tucker's a good play this week. Ashton Genty, obviously you play him. I d Amanda: Injury risk worry you at all? He was hurt. He got hurt? Drew: he's back at practice. Amanda: Okay, okay. Drew: Yep. He he logged a full practice yesterday. Yep. It's gonna be gonna be golden. Yep. Amanda: Alright, so we golden. Gonna be gonna be golden. I think that's it. Drew: Yeah, I I don't play Kirk Cousins. You seem to think he's a good play this week. Amanda: I think he's gonna have a good I don't know if I have to play him. I think you have better options outside of him. I think he's gonna have a good week though. I think there's other quarterbacks you could start. I'd start Stafford before I started Kirk Cousins, but Well duh. I'd play Bryce Young over Kirk Cousins. Okay, give me a non obvious one. Drew: Yeah, duh. Let me give you let me give you some tough ones. Not picking I'm not gonna let you pick an obvious one. Bryce Young. Amanda: I'd play Bryce Young over Kirk Cousins. Drew: Okay. Jameis Winston. Amanda: I'd play Kirk Cousins. Drew: Tyler Shuck. Amanda: Shock. Drew: Patrick Mahomes. Amanda: Patrick. Drew: Trevor Lawrence. Amanda: Why would you ask me that? Tilaw. I'm playing T-Law. Drew: Because he plays Houston. Okay. defenses I am not interested in in this game. Amanda: Either. Negative Ghost Rider. Okay, cool. Dallas versus Green Bay. Aw, that's probably our favorite game of the week because we picked all these players. So did you just yell at me for something? Did I yell? Sorry. Anyways. Dallas Drew: Yeah, back away from the mic a little bit. 'Cause you went from being you went from being really quiet 'cause your head was backed away and then you decided Amanda: I get real I get geeked. Drew: to announce the game into the microphone. And I mean literally into it. Amanda: I'm a little sporadic, guys. Okay, betting line has Green Bay Favorite at one and a half and the over underset at fifty three point five. Drew: Yeah, excited about this one. Amanda: Okay, ready? Dak, Javante, CD, Pickens, go. Okay, Drew: Yes, yes, yes, yes. Amanda: cool. Done. Wrap it up. Awesome. Love it. Green Bay. Jordan Love. Yes. Marshawn Lloyd. Probably. Christian Watson. Matthew Golden. Tucker Kraft. Yes. Drew: Yes, yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Amanda: Okay, is Tucker Kraft going to like catch some footballs? Can you like speak it into the ether? Yeah, something's wrong. And it's Drew: I have no clue. Something's going on. I hope so. Amanda: my my heartburn is starting to act up and I'm a little frustrated with Tucker. Kraft mac and cheese. Get your shit together. Drew: Yeah. Yeah. I hope he catches it though. But yeah, this game's it's all the obvious guys. It's gonna be a great Amanda: Yeah. No Drew: game. Amanda: negative ghostwriter on either defense. Don't play Dallas if we've learned anything. next up we have Washington Commanders versus the San Francisco 49ers. Betty Line has we made Drew: We made it to Monday night football game, baby. Amanda: it, baby. Betty Line favors San Francisco at seven and a half and the over-under is set at 50.5. I told Drew this. I saw a meme and it was like out of respect to Jaden Daniels. No one in the NFC East won week five, and I uncontrollably laughed at that. It was very funny. If you know the number five drama. Anyways, Drew: Him thinking the number belongs to him. Amanda: yes, and it doesn't. Sorry, baby. Jaden Daniels, yes, good play. it is a tough matchup, but you're not sitting Jaden Daniels. Yeah. Drew: It's a tough matchup, but he runs the ball enough. Yeah. Amanda: talk to me about running backs for Washington, JCM and Rashad White in particular. Drew: Yeah, I think you can play J C he he got a good amount of work last week. Amanda: Most yeah, most of it. It was him. Well, Rashad was banged up. Drew: Yeah, but Rashad's gonna end up getting Amanda: The passing work. Drew: Yeah, I I I c I'll I'm okay playing JCM. I'm not interested in Rashad White. Amanda: No, me either. Okay. Scary Terry is the only wide receiver. How about Stefan Dix? No. So Scary Terry. Okay. And that's it for the commanders. And for San Francisco, Brock Purdy, good play this week. I like CMC. You're not sitting CMC. You're playing him. Mike Evans, duh. And George Kittle, yes. Drew: Yep, absolutely. Amanda: Cool. And I don't think either defenses are really necessary here. Drew: no. If I if I have the forty niners defense, it it you can play them. it's not like Washington's not turnover prone. they also if I mean they scored twenty-two last week against Seattle, so anything can happen. They also get Atlanta next week before they're bye. So, you know, if you don't want to drop them because you want them next week, it's okay. You can play them this week. It's not the worst matchup in the world. And Amanda: Anything can happen. Drew: also like You never know what happens. Jaden Daniels could get hurt again and then their, you know, Aiden Kalikman Calyc Manis could come in. Amanda: flat Stanley. Drew: Sure. I still don't know what Flat Stanley is. You you're gonna show it to me and I you didn't. I have literally no Amanda: Dude, I asked Ben and he knew what Flat Stanley was and knew what Flat Stanley was. Drew: idea what that is. Amanda: Okay, anyways, for better or for worse, let's get into our weekly prop bet challenge. Drew: yes, last week for our prop bets, I went two and one. I had Jameer Gibbs and Parker Washington both hit and Michael Wilson. I don't know how he did not get to six receptions. He had f I he had four at halftime, Amanda: I think Jacoby knew you had that bet 'cause he would not he threw to like weird people. Drew: I think. Four he had three or four at halftime. It was crazy. And then, you know, he's got literally a quarter and a half to get two and he doesn't get it, and I was just not happy. Amanda also went two and one. Kincaid, Aaron Jones, and then Carnell Tate. with the over four and a half receptions was an awful call. Amanda: bad. Drew: yeah. So season standings, I am at eight and eight, back to five hundred. Amanda is at nine and seven, one above. So winners first, who are your three prop bets this week? Amanda: Alright, well I have Kirk Cousins on the over for passing yards. Over two hundred and forty-three point five passing yards. I'm all look at I spelled Lloyd wrong here too. I think it's just I'm dumb. Drew: Yeah, I don't think I think it's just I think it's you. Honestly, like I don't think you can spell check it wrong twice. Amanda: I think I'm dumb Shit. Okay, anyways, Bashawn, what what is it? Lo li Loid? Loid? Drew: You just said Machon too, so like a Machon Lyode. It's Marshawn Lloyd. Amanda: Greatest nickname ever. Lyold. Okay. Drew: Machon Lyod. Amanda: I have him on the over 40.5 rushing yards. And lastly, I took CMC on receptions slash rushing rushing yards 110 plus. Fuck it. What what did I say? Receptions? my God. I'm really struggling. I need a coffee. Drew: Receiving receiving plus rushing yards. Receptions. You need to just type everything out so you can read the correct word instead of just guessing. Amanda: Listen, I'm a little nervous. I'm a little nervous. Let me live. Drew: all right. So Amanda had Kirk Cousins over passing yards, Marshawn Lloyd over rushing yards, and CMC over 110 rushing and receiving yards combined. Amanda: You got it, babe. Drew: Whew. all right. This week I have Matthew Golden over sixty-five and a half receiving yards. I have Jordan Love longest completion over forty and a half yards. So it is a prop bet you can do. Longest completion. And I that could be either Golden or or I mean it can be anybody, but Watson and Golden, good bets there. And then I have my third one is going to be either George Kittle over sixty-four and a half receiving yards, or I could pivot to Dallas Goddard over receptions or receiving yards. reason it's an either or is because with all the injuries that the Eagles have They don't have their prop bets listed for the Eagles players yet because Vegas doesn't know who's going to play. So they don't want to set the wrong lines and get screwed. Obviously, Vegas isn't in isn't in the game of losing money. So Amanda: They want to make money, yeah. Drew: yeah, so I do like George Kittle over receiving yards. That's just a lot of receiving yards. So I may pivot to Dallas Goddard. I will show Amanda: I'll make him decide by Sunday, don't worry. Drew: make me decide before the game start on Sunday. So it'll be one of those two. but I do like both plays there. Amanda: Yeah. All right. Well, that's all we got for you guys this week.
