- 1:01Speaker 1: from Tamu. Aiden Ross is going to join me. Also,
- 1:05Speaker 1: Scott Clindennon is here, Mallory is here, and we'll let
- 1:10Speaker 1: you in on some upcoming stuff. The college football Playoffs
- 1:16Speaker 1: selection committee met last night. They didn't really want to
- 1:20Speaker 1: change the first five. Ohio State, Indiana A and m Alabama.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Georgia Tech moved up a couple of spots to six,
- 1:28Speaker 1: replaced ole Miss at seven in Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas
- 1:32Speaker 1: at ten, o U BYU, Utah, Vanderbilt, Miami, and I
- 1:39Speaker 1: don't really know why Miami's still at number fifteen, but.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Hey, that's just me.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Could send five teams in the SEC to the playoffs,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Aggie's of course, Bama, Georgia, ole Miss, maybe even Texas.
- 1:56Speaker 1: They've got a lot of work to do. Three big
- 1:59Speaker 1: ten Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon. I think that's right. One
- 2:03Speaker 1: for the big twelve Texas Tech one from the ACC.
- 2:07Speaker 1: This is Miami. That's a projection. I don't think Miami's
- 2:10Speaker 1: going to get there. South Florida from the American Conference
- 2:16Speaker 1: and the independent Notre Dame.
- 2:19Speaker 4: We'll see how all that plays out.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Kirby Smart's pulling out all the stops as Georgia hosts
- 2:26Speaker 1: Texas on Saturday night. Smart confirming on the teleconference today
- 2:30Speaker 1: he had hired Florida coach Billy Napier to come by
- 2:36Speaker 1: and watch practice. That's not true. Billy just came by.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I don't think he got paid for it. Billy's I
- 2:46Speaker 1: guess giving some pointers on how to beat Texas because
- 2:49Speaker 1: he did it twenty nine to twenty one in a
- 2:52Speaker 1: game that wasn't that close. So you know, Georgia's looking
- 2:59Speaker 1: forever edge they can get in the game. On Saturday,
- 3:04Speaker 1: the NCAA Division One Committee on Infractions, and I got
- 3:08Speaker 1: to be honest with.
- 3:09Speaker 4: You, I didn't think they existed anymore. I'm serious.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I thought there was a whole new policeman for college athletics. Well,
- 3:19Speaker 1: they found Michigan State in violation of pride providing more
- 3:23Speaker 1: than ten thousand dollars in recruiting inducements. That's chump change
- 3:29Speaker 1: under former head coach Mel Tucker. Tucker was fired in
- 3:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty three amidst sexual harassment allegations former Spartan's GM
- 3:40Speaker 1: and player Personnel director Sae Khalif and former assistant coach
- 3:43Speaker 1: Brandon Jordan knowingly provided benefits to six Michigan State recruits,
- 3:48Speaker 1: including airfare, lodging, and other stuff. As a result, they
- 3:54Speaker 1: have vacated. I've been asked to vacate fourteen wins in
- 3:58Speaker 1: three years, telling you, if you're gonna cheat, you gotta.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Win more than fourteen games, and if you're gonna get caught,
- 4:06Speaker 4: you got to win way more than fourteen games in
- 4:09Speaker 4: three years.
- 4:11Speaker 1: My Richardson High Matt tells me that's less than five
- 4:13Speaker 1: wins a year. Michigan State havent been doing that well.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And again, nobody cheats like the SEC. Let's let's try
- 4:25Speaker 1: a little harder up there, Michigan State College basketball. There
- 4:30Speaker 1: were some games on last night, O m G. Where
- 4:37Speaker 1: there's some games on last night. Louisville at home beat
- 4:41Speaker 1: Kentucky ninety six eighty eight snapped a seven game losing
- 4:46Speaker 1: streak to the Big Blue Nation. Mcal Brown Junior went
- 4:53Speaker 1: off twenty nine points. Florida had to come from behind
- 4:58Speaker 1: at home and then hold on to beat Florida State
- 5:02Speaker 1: seventy eight seventy six.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Texas Tech was thirteen down.
- 5:07Speaker 1: At the half at Illinois, came back, took the lead
- 5:11Speaker 1: and then lost. But don't blame JT.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Toppin.
- 5:16Speaker 1: He had thirty five points last night. And did you
- 5:21Speaker 1: know Peja Stoyolkovich's son is playing at Illinois. I didn't
- 5:27Speaker 1: either till last night, but he had twenty three points
- 5:29Speaker 1: and he was the reason the ilion I held off
- 5:31Speaker 1: Texas Tech. Gonzaga played Creighton last night and the Zags
- 5:41Speaker 1: won ninety to sixty three. It was much closer than
- 5:46Speaker 1: that through about two thirds of the game. So there
- 5:53Speaker 1: were some good hoops on last night. I saw a
- 5:56Speaker 1: lot of all American players last night. I saw a
- 5:58Speaker 1: lot of good basketball teams last night. Dusty Now had
- 6:02Speaker 1: this conversation today. When you watch games like that at
- 6:06Speaker 1: such a high level, and then you look at what
- 6:10Speaker 1: happened Sunday, you go, oh, they got a long way
- 6:13Speaker 1: to go.
- 6:13Speaker 4: But A and M has another shot.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Friday night, Central Florida seven o'clock rid Arena Tonight, Number
- 6:22Speaker 1: one rank Houston is hosting Oakland, not the Oakland A's
- 6:28Speaker 1: not the Oakland Raiders. This team is in Michigan and
- 6:34Speaker 1: traditionally pretty hard nosed team, but they're zero to two.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Houston should blow them out. And Tennessee is at home tonight.
- 6:43Speaker 1: They're hosting North Florida. South Carolina is hosting Presbyterian. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: have been on a campaign to get Presbyterian to College station.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Now for about ten years.
- 6:55Speaker 1: In football, the Blue hose Man, Let's get the Blue
- 7:00Speaker 1: to Kyle Field. If you can play Sanford, you can
- 7:04Speaker 1: play Presbyterian. And whoever's listening out there, you know who
- 7:10Speaker 1: you are. Get Presbyterian on the phone and get them here.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I bet they'd come for less than you're paying. Sanford,
- 7:17Speaker 1: Missouri is hosting Minnesota tonight. Texas is hosting Farley Dickenson tonight.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Vanderbilt is hosting Eastern Kentucky. All of those games on
- 7:30Speaker 1: SEC plus. Okay, and this the Rangers clubhouse is gonna
- 7:38Speaker 1: look a little different with coaches this year under new
- 7:42Speaker 1: manager Skip Schumacher. He has named his coaching staff major
- 7:49Speaker 1: league hitting coach Alex Cintrone, quality control coach Rod Barajas,
- 7:57Speaker 1: first base coach Travis Jenkowski, bullpen coach Kobe Suggs, six
- 8:05Speaker 1: staff Retornees in new roles. Pitching coach Jordan Tiggs. Mike
- 8:13Speaker 1: Maddocks is out. We knew that hitting coach Justin Veely,
- 8:20Speaker 1: third base coach Corey Ragsdale, Tony Beasley is out. We
- 8:24Speaker 1: knew that catching coach Brett Hayes, bench coach Luis Urueta,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and assistant pitching coach Dave Bush. That's a lot of coaches, man,
- 8:39Speaker 1: That looks like as many coaches as we have assistant
- 8:43Speaker 1: basketball coaches in college basketball. Have you seen how many
- 8:47Speaker 1: coaches there are on the sidelines in college basketball?
- 8:53Speaker 4: There's a lot.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Is this breaking news? Okay, here we go breaking news.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I don't know how to pronounce this guy's name. I Apoachy,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I a posy. The Astros are hiring Anthony Ayaposi as
- 9:14Speaker 1: their hitting coach play baseball at Lamar. Drafted by the Brewers.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Hired by the Rangers as their hitting coach for a
- 9:26Speaker 1: couple of years, was the Cubs hitting coach.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Was the Red Sox senior hitting coordinator. I tell you
- 9:37Speaker 4: I like that title. I wouldn't mind being a senior
- 9:40Speaker 4: hitting coordinator. I do like that title.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And has been with the Tigers. This guy's been everywhere.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Why didn't he stay put?
- 9:52Speaker 4: If he's so good? Yeah, I don't know.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Hopefully he will just drag the rest of the Astro
- 10:00Speaker 1: down with him. That's what we're counting on.
- 10:03Speaker 4: All right. I think that's all for now.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I've got a couple of We've got Aiden Ross coming
- 10:13Speaker 1: up from the Voice.
- 10:14Speaker 4: We're going to visit with him. Scott Clintonon is going
- 10:18Speaker 4: to be here.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Let me let me look and see, because we've got
- 10:26Speaker 1: other guests coming up. I know this, Oh rock and
- 10:31Speaker 1: roll icon, Freddy Boom Boom cannon, mister Palisades Park is
- 10:36Speaker 1: going to join us next week. And Kent heck and Lively,
- 10:45Speaker 1: who I believe may have been with us before.
- 10:53Speaker 4: He has written a book on UAPs.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Used to be called UFOs, but the government decided UFO
- 11:03Speaker 1: had a negative connotation about a bunch of weird people,
- 11:07Speaker 1: so they re branded UAP that is unidentified aerial phenomenon. Yeah, no,
- 11:19Speaker 1: it's it's not nearly as good as UFO. But Heck
- 11:23Speaker 1: and Lively, this guy has credentials. This isn't some guy
- 11:27Speaker 1: sitting in a cabin in the woods somewhere. He has
- 11:35Speaker 1: scientific studies. And we're going to talk UAPs.
- 11:40Speaker 4: And that is.
- 11:43Speaker 1: When am I talking to him? I know I'm talking
- 11:46Speaker 1: to him at some.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Point, I don't know. We'll see.
- 11:53Speaker 5: So we actually found out that this now that the
- 11:55Speaker 5: Astros are hiring joint hitting coaches.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Joint hitting coaches because this guy not good enough on
- 12:00Speaker 1: his own. Where's Victor Rodriguez from? So we've got two
- 12:09Speaker 1: hitting coaches for the Astros.
- 12:10Speaker 4: One wasn't enough.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Well, the White I hit last year. That's probably true.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'm thinking Padres and the Padres had some issues last year.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I'm not gonna lie about that.
- 12:25Speaker 1: They did have some issues last year. Okay, enough of that,
- 12:29Speaker 1: we are going to take a break. We're going to
- 12:32Speaker 1: visit with Aiden Ross of the Voice when we come
- 12:36Speaker 1: back after the final lap. Brought to you by and
- 12:38Speaker 1: Co Insurance.

- 13:13Speaker 1: Heartbreak for Denny Hamlin, but he still showed up to
- 13:16Speaker 1: Kyle Larson's victory party.
- 13:18Speaker 7: Just pay my respects. I would hope that he would
- 13:21Speaker 7: have done that for me. I think he would have.
- 13:23Speaker 7: He's been a great friend of mine, you know. I
- 13:27Speaker 7: hate for him that kind of the attention is shifted
- 13:32Speaker 7: a little bit away from him and his championship because
- 13:35Speaker 7: he's definitely there's a difference in deserving and should have
- 13:39Speaker 7: been right. I think that there's not one person that
- 13:43Speaker 7: should ever question his deservingness of being a champion. That's
- 13:48Speaker 7: what I don't like to see. But I mean, he's
- 13:51Speaker 7: a great friend of mine, and it wasn't me. I
- 13:54Speaker 7: was definitely happy for him, but I was just trying
- 13:57Speaker 7: to do the right thing as a friend, and regardless
- 14:01Speaker 7: of my you know, feelings and emotions that evening, it
- 14:05Speaker 7: was important for me to go show him support.
- 14:08Speaker 8: And what did you say?
- 14:09Speaker 9: Not long?
- 14:11Speaker 10: Not long?
- 14:13Speaker 7: It's uh, it won't be as agonizing as having to
- 14:17Speaker 7: sit through two hours of today, you know tonight. You
- 14:22Speaker 7: know it's you know, we're you can say, we're the
- 14:26Speaker 7: only sport that blank a lot lots of things, but
- 14:29Speaker 7: having to make the losers sit there and celebrate the
- 14:32Speaker 7: winners is just one of those extra things that we
- 14:35Speaker 7: have to do in our sport that's painful.
- 14:37Speaker 11: You're on the final lap.
- 14:40Speaker 12: Hi, I'm Kylie, I'm John, and I'm Gishon.

- 16:31Speaker 1: This is a title track from Willie's latest album, just
- 16:35Speaker 1: out last week called working Man Willie Sings Merle. There
- 16:39Speaker 1: is a lot of nostalgia here. We've got tracks of
- 16:44Speaker 1: Paul English playing the drums, Bobby Nelson playing the piano.
- 16:50Speaker 10: Uh.
- 16:51Speaker 4: This song Willie included in his.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Concerts just Forever with his guitarist Jody Paine singing the

- 17:14Speaker 1: silver Wings is on there, if we make it through
- 17:17Speaker 1: December is on there, Mama Tried is on there. I mean,
- 17:22Speaker 1: there's so many great Merle songs. He can't get to
- 17:25Speaker 1: all of them, but we'll play as many as we can.
- 17:29Speaker 4: This segment of the show through six o'clock on All
- 17:34Speaker 4: Willie Wednesday. Mallory's here.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Scott Clandennon is here and yesterday I had a chance
- 17:40Speaker 1: to catch up with Aiden Ross from the Voice. He
- 17:46Speaker 1: is from College Station. He is at Texas A and M.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Tonight he is playing the second of two sold out
- 17:54Speaker 1: shows at the Palace Theater in downtown Bryant.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Aiden, how are you, man?
- 18:01Speaker 5: I'm doing so good. Let me tell you how are you?
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you there's a rumor going around at the
- 18:07Speaker 1: second show at the Palace is sold out Wednesday night.
- 18:11Speaker 5: You know, I think it is.
- 18:12Speaker 8: They might be selling a few extra spare tickets at
- 18:15Speaker 8: the door, but I'm not too sure. But they went
- 18:19Speaker 8: quick the first and second show.
- 18:20Speaker 5: They went quick.
- 18:21Speaker 4: What does that feel like for you?
- 18:24Speaker 8: It's it's really such I mean, I don't it's so
- 18:27Speaker 8: unique and it's so new because to think that a
- 18:32Speaker 8: year ago today, I wasn't playing shows. I wasn't playing
- 18:35Speaker 8: sold out shows. I was busking on the street of
- 18:39Speaker 8: downtown Bryan at first Fridays.
- 18:40Speaker 5: And to go from that.
- 18:43Speaker 8: To having my first show, to selling out my first show,
- 18:47Speaker 8: to having my second show and selling out my second
- 18:49Speaker 8: show too is really just I mean, I'm just filled
- 18:52Speaker 8: with so much gratitude. It's it's just a joy And
- 18:55Speaker 8: it's awesome because the community is just so tight knit,
- 18:58Speaker 8: and so there's.
- 18:59Speaker 5: So many people up the show that I've like I
- 19:01Speaker 5: really have.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Just met before from playing on the side of the
- 19:04Speaker 8: street or like just members of my community like growing
- 19:07Speaker 8: up in high school, moms, et cetera.
- 19:09Speaker 5: It's just a really special and intimate setting.
- 19:11Speaker 4: A lot of friends and family there that first show.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Lente.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's talk about the process. Let's talk about
- 19:21Speaker 1: this whole.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Thing you mentioned a year ago.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And I'm guessing there's times when you're performing on the
- 19:30Speaker 1: show your head spinning a little bit, isn't it.
- 19:35Speaker 8: Yes, almost, it's almost more than not, you know, just
- 19:38Speaker 8: a little bit.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So tell me about the process a little bit, especially
- 19:44Speaker 1: when you first started and you got Nile on the team.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Yeah, so come to blind auditions.
- 19:52Speaker 8: I walk on to that stage and I'm like, Okay,
- 19:55Speaker 8: all I need is one, you know, because I mean
- 19:57Speaker 8: that really is true.
- 19:58Speaker 5: All you really need is want to make it.
- 20:00Speaker 4: To the next round, right yep.
- 20:02Speaker 8: But like from the moment like I started singing into
- 20:05Speaker 8: the microphone, like I just like the chairs just started
- 20:08Speaker 8: turning before I could even react. And that was that
- 20:11Speaker 8: was really hard because I mean, obviously it was an
- 20:13Speaker 8: incredible feeling, but I was singing such a heart wrenching,
- 20:16Speaker 8: sad song, but I was also maybe the happiest I've
- 20:18Speaker 8: ever been, and I think I went into for my
- 20:21Speaker 8: blind edition, I went into what else singers call airplane mode,
- 20:26Speaker 8: and I kind of just like I kind of like
- 20:29Speaker 8: lost like the moment for a second, like I was,
- 20:32Speaker 8: I was singing, but it was really just muscle memory,
- 20:34Speaker 8: and in my head, I was like, oh my gosh, Snoop,
- 20:36Speaker 8: the dog's a real person because I was looking right
- 20:38Speaker 8: at them. But luckily, I think the gravity of this
- 20:42Speaker 8: situation like pulled me back down and I was able
- 20:45Speaker 8: to land that ship and bring it home. But since then,
- 20:49Speaker 8: I think I kind of learned that lesson and was
- 20:51Speaker 8: able to take it to my my other performances, and
- 20:53Speaker 8: so for my battle and for my knockout, I felt
- 20:57Speaker 8: so grounded in the moment, I felt I just felt
- 20:59Speaker 8: very present and I felt that I was really able
- 21:02Speaker 8: to give a performance that like that I wanted to give.
- 21:06Speaker 1: What's what's Nile done for you? Just in terms of performing.
- 21:12Speaker 5: M I think.
- 21:15Speaker 8: One thing that you would think Nile would help with,
- 21:18Speaker 8: and it's just absolutely true because it's just so evident
- 21:21Speaker 8: in his own music is just the storytelling aspect, just
- 21:27Speaker 8: being able to make a song big when it needs
- 21:29Speaker 8: to be big and small when it needs to be small.
- 21:32Speaker 8: He actually told me that before my last Knockout round
- 21:34Speaker 8: with him and Joe Walsh, just really really connecting to
- 21:40Speaker 8: the song, knowing the words you're saying, but also knowing
- 21:44Speaker 8: how they connect to you in your own life. Like,
- 21:48Speaker 8: for an example, What a Time by a Nilharn and
- 21:53Speaker 8: Julia Michaels. It's a lot about like remembrance and being
- 21:58Speaker 8: out in la as a twenty year old guy.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I mean, I guess I'm I guess.
- 22:02Speaker 8: I'm a grown man, but also I still just feel
- 22:04Speaker 8: like a kid, right, And so being away from my
- 22:07Speaker 8: family for that long was hard, and so just just
- 22:10Speaker 8: remember my family and how much I loved them was
- 22:12Speaker 8: what helped me like have the connection that I needed
- 22:14Speaker 8: to that song.
- 22:15Speaker 4: At what point did you find out Joe Walsh was
- 22:17Speaker 4: going to be involved?
- 22:20Speaker 5: About half a second before I walked in?
- 22:24Speaker 4: What was that like?
- 22:26Speaker 5: It's so well, it's.
- 22:27Speaker 8: So funny because me and my battle partner Liam were
- 22:32Speaker 8: standing outside or knock out partner Liam, We're standing outside
- 22:35Speaker 8: the door about to go in, and then we hear
- 22:38Speaker 8: music start playing and we're like, what is.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Somebody else going right now?
- 22:41Speaker 8: And sure enough it was Joe Walsh and Nile Horn
- 22:45Speaker 8: just jamming out in there with the band, and that's
- 22:47Speaker 8: kind of how we found out. And then we had
- 22:49Speaker 8: no time to react though, because they were like, all right,
- 22:50Speaker 8: get in there, and then boom, Joe Walsh in the flesh.
- 22:55Speaker 8: But it was really great. He's a really he's a
- 22:57Speaker 8: really nice guy. He's also he's actually also very constructive
- 23:04Speaker 8: and yeah, he's very down to earth and it's just
- 23:06Speaker 8: really great to meet him overall.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I saw on social media this week that Texas A
- 23:10Speaker 1: and M sent you some slag.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Yep, they sent me a brand box.
- 23:15Speaker 8: That was that was the first and that was that
- 23:19Speaker 8: was really really cool, especially since we're not and know
- 23:21Speaker 8: right now it's unbelievable.
- 23:23Speaker 5: We beat the allegations eight eight, eight and four no.
- 23:26Speaker 1: More A uh got your new guitar strap?
- 23:31Speaker 5: I saw, Yes, Yes, it's very cool. A Force for
- 23:36Speaker 5: Good is the new slogan that they're pushing right now,
- 23:40Speaker 5: and honestly, I'm all for I think it's really sweet.
- 23:42Speaker 5: I think it's really special.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Have you been to any games?
- 23:48Speaker 5: Yes, I've been to how many have I? Gosh, how
- 23:50Speaker 5: many I've been to? I will say I rarely. I
- 23:53Speaker 5: rarely miss a home game. I rarely miss a home game.
- 23:56Speaker 4: So are you going Saturday?
- 23:59Speaker 8: Yes?
- 23:59Speaker 4: I will be nice.
- 24:01Speaker 1: So tell me about going forward if you would, aiden
- 24:06Speaker 1: and just writing this roller coaster right now.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Yes, just regarding even like going forward like after the show. Yeah, wow,
- 24:19Speaker 8: I mean honestly, like, I'm so excited. The Voice has
- 24:21Speaker 8: just been such a great opportunity to find that they
- 24:24Speaker 8: just step onto like a larger platform and really just
- 24:27Speaker 8: sort of scale this thing and show who I am
- 24:29Speaker 8: to other people.
- 24:30Speaker 5: But the plan is to record music.
- 24:32Speaker 8: I've been working so hard writing songs for years now,
- 24:39Speaker 8: and I'm excited to release them after the show and
- 24:41Speaker 8: just show the world like another part of myself that
- 24:43Speaker 8: I've been working so hard on and show them also
- 24:46Speaker 8: more than and also show them that I am not
- 24:49Speaker 8: just a karaoke singer, but I'm also a writer and
- 24:54Speaker 8: a creative and I love what I do.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I'm told there's a pretty nice little re studio down
- 25:00Speaker 1: the road in Caldwell.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Yes, me and my dad are actually going to check
- 25:05Speaker 5: that out today.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Nice bee.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Mm hmm, I'm excited.
- 25:09Speaker 8: I was in I was in Nashville a couple of
- 25:11Speaker 8: weeks ago working with someboddies from the show. That was
- 25:13Speaker 8: another great thing from the show. It's just the people
- 25:16Speaker 8: you meet are so talented and also just like such
- 25:20Speaker 8: incredible people that to work with.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Them is just such a blessing. So I was just
- 25:24Speaker 5: there and I got to.
- 25:25Speaker 8: See one of my best buddies from the show and
- 25:27Speaker 8: my knockout partner, Liam Vonell. But and I actually stayed
- 25:30Speaker 8: with him, and I really don't know what I would
- 25:32Speaker 8: have done without him.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Who are your inspirations when you were getting started in
- 25:38Speaker 4: the music? M wow?
- 25:42Speaker 8: I mean as of now, the most of the most
- 25:44Speaker 8: recent ones, the ones that I take after are Lizzie McAlpine,
- 25:49Speaker 8: Olivia Dean. I think Olivia Dean. Did you just get
- 25:52Speaker 8: nominated for first Grammy or for New Artists of the Year.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Ye, gosh, that's incredible.
- 25:58Speaker 8: I think Olivia from the way she performs in the
- 26:02Speaker 8: joy that she brings to the stage to just like
- 26:05Speaker 8: the messages in her song and just also how they
- 26:08Speaker 8: make you feel is how I aspire to write, how
- 26:12Speaker 8: I aspire to perform, and just like kind of the
- 26:16Speaker 8: type of person that I want to.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Be to this world. Really just like a light to others.
- 26:20Speaker 8: And I think that's absolutely what she's doing and I
- 26:23Speaker 8: admire her a lot for that.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So it sounds like you need to add a few
- 26:28Speaker 1: more shows that to Palace, Aidan.
- 26:30Speaker 8: You know, I probably should have have no members filling up,
- 26:34Speaker 8: but we'll figure it out.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Maybe I had a couple.
- 26:37Speaker 1: You're gonna need a bigger venue coming home, I think
- 26:40Speaker 1: I think.
- 26:41Speaker 8: So.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Hey, it's great to catch up with you. We wish
- 26:46Speaker 1: you the best going forward. Thanks for the time, Aidan, Yes, sir,
- 26:50Speaker 1: thank you so much. But's Aiden Ross of the Voice
- 26:53Speaker 1: again tonight at the Palace Theater in downtown Brian. He
- 26:58Speaker 1: was there last week as well. You know, it's not
- 27:01Speaker 1: a huge venue, and the thing is.
- 27:09Speaker 4: You can probably hear pretty well not.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Being inside the venue, you know what I'm saying, kind
- 27:16Speaker 1: of open. You can go hang out downtown Brian, listen
- 27:21Speaker 1: to some music. There's lots of other music venues and
- 27:24Speaker 1: stuff going on tonight as well, which we'll tell you
- 27:26Speaker 1: about in the second hour when we talk a little
- 27:28Speaker 1: bit about Destination Brian.
- 27:30Speaker 4: But my thanks to Aiden.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Ross and I got to tell you, I don't watch
- 27:35Speaker 1: the voice. I keep up through my wife and daughter.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I don't understand the note taking. They watch every episode
- 27:45Speaker 1: and take notes. I don't understand that part of it,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and I guess figure out who to vote for. I
- 27:52Speaker 1: don't understand that part of it. I think they're in
- 27:59Speaker 1: the middle of knockout rounds, which means some people are
- 28:03Speaker 1: going home and there'll be one person standing when all
- 28:08Speaker 1: of this is done. But that's all I know. I'm sorry,
- 28:14Speaker 1: but I know some of you do, so that's great,
- 28:17Speaker 1: And again thanks to Ayden for doing that. You got
- 28:21Speaker 1: a lot of A and M swag. You know, I'm
- 28:24Speaker 1: not sure I've ever gotten a big box of swag
- 28:27Speaker 1: like A and M did with a guitar strap. Now
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't need a guitar strap, but you know I could.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I could use some swag for all the swag people
- 28:40Speaker 1: out there. I'm sure I'll do you proud. I don't
- 28:44Speaker 1: know that I'm going to be on NBC anytime soon,
- 28:47Speaker 1: but hey, you know, you never know. Galleria is part
- 28:51Speaker 1: of our community. Just the name Galleria, you know what
- 28:54Speaker 1: I'm talking about. They've been around for well over thirty years.

- 29:17Speaker 1: I know you got the mannies and the petties at
- 29:19Speaker 1: the Galeria Day Spa across from Scott and White on
- 29:23Speaker 1: Rock Prairie Road. I know you got the massages. I
- 29:28Speaker 1: know you got the facials. I know you got full

- 29:37Speaker 1: jewelry and gentlemen. As we get closer to the holidays,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and as you get deeper into your chair, as you
- 29:46Speaker 1: watch football fourteen hours a day, maybe think about getting
- 29:51Speaker 1: a gift certificate for your wife for Galleria. These gift
- 29:58Speaker 1: certificates are never traded in, they're never gone unused, they're.
- 30:04Speaker 4: You know, they're well received. I will just say that.

- 34:34Speaker 1: Ferdless Football Forecast Contest America's.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Going to Love Football?
- 34:37Speaker 1: Pick Them Contest the Division of Sports Talk and presented
- 34:41Speaker 1: by Zornaman Flooring and Chad Jones.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Law.
- 34:46Speaker 17: I didn't realize I had picked that many correct this year?
- 34:49Speaker 4: Really? How so.
- 34:52Speaker 17: Well? I haven't missed any weeks.
- 34:56Speaker 4: And you're right up there near the top.
- 34:59Speaker 17: I'm I'm spinning distance.
- 35:03Speaker 4: What is spinning distance?
- 35:05Speaker 17: The leaders. Two of your leaders have eighty okay, and
- 35:09Speaker 17: I have seventy five.
- 35:11Speaker 4: No way, is that right? You're way ahead of me,
- 35:15Speaker 4: I did.
- 35:16Speaker 17: Go on, Look, Chip, I've never been this far ahead
- 35:18Speaker 17: of you.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Well, I've I've never been this far behind it any
- 35:23Speaker 1: of these Pickham contests. But in fairness, the prog pole
- 35:28Speaker 1: which is running by Gary Blair and the Eagle has
- 35:33Speaker 1: and I'm playing the rest of the season under protest.
- 35:36Speaker 4: I've issued a formal protest.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Why because he's been allowed to change the rules twice,
- 35:41Speaker 1: not once, but twice within the course of the season.
- 35:44Speaker 1: And so this whole thing is a sham and a joke.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And whoever wins, they'll be an Asters by their name.
- 35:53Speaker 17: So you're saying it's like the NCAA College Football Selection Committee.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I'm saying it's like ESPN that controls the NCAA College
- 36:02Speaker 1: Football collection Okay, committee, So so they.
- 36:06Speaker 17: Have got there.
- 36:07Speaker 4: It's a sham and a joke, sham, mockery. It's it's just.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Horrible and I don't know how it's been allowed to happen.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I don't know why it's been allowed to happen. There's
- 36:16Speaker 1: obviously some pictures that the coach has of the editor
- 36:20Speaker 1: of The Eagle editor. But it's it's a joke and
- 36:26Speaker 1: we are playing under protest. So my I've got no
- 36:32Speaker 1: excuse for my own poll. I've got none. I started
- 36:35Speaker 1: out terrible. I've been terrible all year. Yeah, well, I
- 36:42Speaker 1: don't think I picked a Cowboys game, right, a Texans game?
- 36:45Speaker 4: Right? I've just been killed all year. It's just been ugly.
- 36:53Speaker 17: Well, last week I missed Duke.
- 36:55Speaker 4: I miss Duke.
- 36:57Speaker 17: Who would pick you con over?
- 36:59Speaker 10: Duke?
- 37:00Speaker 4: Wasn't me?
- 37:01Speaker 17: Did you have any perfect Yeah?
- 37:03Speaker 4: Sure we did, Yes, we did.
- 37:06Speaker 17: Blue Max was perfect.
- 37:08Speaker 4: We had a we had a perfect pick? Yeah, yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 4: but a ten and oh pick.
- 37:13Speaker 17: Okay, he must have gone to Yukon.
- 37:15Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean who would right?
- 37:18Speaker 17: Yes?
- 37:19Speaker 4: So?
- 37:20Speaker 17: And then what other one did I miss?
- 37:21Speaker 7: Here?
- 37:21Speaker 4: Well, I missed a bunch. I missed a ton last
- 37:24Speaker 4: week as well. So it doesn't b yu Texas Tech
- 37:27Speaker 4: you picked b WHYU?
- 37:28Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 37:29Speaker 8: Sure?
- 37:29Speaker 10: Why?
- 37:30Speaker 18: Uh?
- 37:32Speaker 4: Well?
- 37:32Speaker 1: Let me let me just say Scott does not pick
- 37:35Speaker 1: according to his head. He picks according to his heart.
- 37:39Speaker 17: And if you how fast do I do it?
- 37:41Speaker 1: If he picked according to his head, he might have
- 37:44Speaker 1: a chance, one of these years to be.
- 37:48Speaker 17: Spinning distance chip get out. Okay, what the fact of
- 37:54Speaker 17: the matter is, since my Aggies are undefeated, I haven't
- 37:58Speaker 17: given away any of those picks.
- 37:59Speaker 4: That's right, you're nine to Oh I'm the Aggies.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I may have not put the Aggies in whatever, but anyway, Yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you're undefeated with the Aggies.
- 38:09Speaker 17: Okay, and I think I've actually picked against the Cowboys.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Of course.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I think I'm undefeated with the Aggies this year too.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Pretty pretty sure about it?
- 38:16Speaker 17: Pretty sure you didn't take Notre Dame.
- 38:18Speaker 4: Hip you take take Notre Dame. I took Notre Dame.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Okay, you reminded me, so sorry, so I ate one. Yeah, Okay,
- 38:29Speaker 1: that's still pretty good. I take eight and one wise
- 38:33Speaker 1: all the way through.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, put my name.
- 38:36Speaker 1: On the tournament, on the trophy again. But it's not happening. Okay,
- 38:42Speaker 1: onward and upward. We're going to take a break. We'll
- 38:44Speaker 1: come back. We've got stuff to talk about. Scott Clindon
- 38:48Speaker 1: and is here that good news is or the bad
- 38:51Speaker 1: news depending on your point of view. The Texans Report
- 38:53Speaker 1: is back presented by Oscar and Sons and Citizens State Bank.
- 38:59Speaker 19: So you didn't see the trailer, other car fence and
- 39:06Speaker 19: now your vehicle needs bodywork, so you need Oscar and
- 39:09Speaker 19: Sun's Body Shop. The family business has spent over forty
- 39:12Speaker 19: years undoing damage both large and small, and they give
- 39:15Speaker 19: free estimates at their location. Family owned and operated win

- 39:28Speaker 20: As the Houston Texans prepared to hit the road for
- 39:30Speaker 20: Week eleven's matchup in Tennessee against the Titans, the question
- 39:33Speaker 20: everyone is asking is whether or not CJ. Stroud will
- 39:36Speaker 20: be back under center for the Texans, or if Davis
- 39:39Speaker 20: Mills will continue to lead the offense. First and foremost,
- 39:41Speaker 20: Stroud most completely clear the league's concussion protocol. That means
- 39:45Speaker 20: the quarterback will have to practice at some point this
- 39:47Speaker 20: week to gain clearance. So later today, when the Texans
- 39:49Speaker 20: first injury report is released, that will be the first
- 39:52Speaker 20: sign of Stroud's progress, whoever the Texans quarterback is. On Sunday,
- 39:56Speaker 20: head coach Tamiko Ryans spoke on Texans All Access about
- 39:59Speaker 20: the important of having the full week of preparation.
- 40:02Speaker 17: As a backup quarterback.
- 40:03Speaker 21: You don't get the reps in the week, and then
- 40:05Speaker 21: you're thrust into a game and you're expected to go
- 40:08Speaker 21: do a great job.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Well.
- 40:09Speaker 21: I think that's where Dave is truly benefited from having
- 40:12Speaker 21: the week of preparation, and that's what I kind of
- 40:14Speaker 21: talked about last week. Him having a full week of
- 40:16Speaker 21: preparation allowed him to be in a position right to
- 40:19Speaker 21: go and play a good.
- 40:20Speaker 20: Game for US Texans taking on the Titans on Sunday.
- 40:23Speaker 20: Kickoff is set for noon with Houston Texans Report. I'm
- 40:26Speaker 20: Jake Grietma.

- 42:58Speaker 14: Your home football is the sony eleven am and maybe
- 43:03Speaker 14: three point seven that found.
- 43:13Speaker 24: Each night and I leave the barroom when it's over
- 43:17Speaker 24: room not feeling any pain and closing time. But tonight
- 43:27Speaker 24: your memory found.
- 43:28Speaker 12: Me much too sober.
- 43:32Speaker 17: I couldn't drink.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Enough to keep you off behind mine tonight at the barroom.
- 43:41Speaker 10: Let me up.
- 43:44Speaker 1: It's Will's interpretation of the great Marl Haggard song Come Around.
- 43:50Speaker 4: He's got uh Bobby Nelson playing piano on some of
- 43:56Speaker 4: these cuts.
- 43:57Speaker 1: He's got Paul on the drums on some of these cuts.
- 44:03Speaker 4: It's pretty cool. Spooky, It's a little spooky, but it's
- 44:07Speaker 4: pretty cool.
- 44:09Speaker 17: I mean, like the Hackney Diamond's last album by the Stones. Yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 17: and they had one that Charlie watch was.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Hot, right exactly.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Uh So I had to put my votes in for
- 44:21Speaker 1: both the Maxwell and the bed.
- 44:23Speaker 17: Narick Awards semifinals.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Well, I had picked four.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Now the semifinalists, there's like sixteen eighteen semifinalist.
- 44:31Speaker 4: I don't know how that works out.
- 44:32Speaker 1: So you're voting announcing the four I guess, so yeah,
- 44:37Speaker 1: next week, Okay, we will know. Okay, I think they'll
- 44:41Speaker 1: announce four. Right, And that's that's the that's the Lombardi.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm confused. That was for the Lombardi. I
- 44:51Speaker 1: also did vote for the Maxwell and the bed Narick Awards.
- 44:55Speaker 17: Okay, so tell everybody.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Maxwell is the offensive player, ye, the Dark is the defensive.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Player of the Year.
- 45:04Speaker 17: That win won that one. Yes, And Johnny won the Maxwell.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Yes, And and Marcella is up for the Maxwell, and
- 45:14Speaker 1: cashs Hall is up for this.
- 45:16Speaker 17: Is the one you wrote and that's your power got
- 45:22Speaker 17: that's correct? Cash is how on yes, and he may
- 45:25Speaker 17: win it. Because of you.
- 45:26Speaker 4: He might he very well might win it.
- 45:30Speaker 17: And and the way he's playing, he's kind of playing.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yeah, he's playing Okay. So anyway, it's award season. I
- 45:37Speaker 1: don't like having to vote before the season is over
- 45:40Speaker 1: because they do it again. But now the Maxwell is different.
- 45:45Speaker 1: They're they're not part of ESPN Day. Well, yeah, I
- 45:49Speaker 1: think they are part of ESPN Day. The the the
- 45:52Speaker 1: Impact Award that was given to.
- 45:58Speaker 17: Is that Cash is.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Hell to Yeah, Cash is Hell.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Uh, that's the Ronnie Lott Award, and that's not part
- 46:05Speaker 1: of the ESPN Day. ESPN Day is like December eighth
- 46:09Speaker 1: or ninth or something, you know, right after the conference championships.
- 46:15Speaker 17: It's early, Yeah, it's right before the It's like a
- 46:18Speaker 17: couple of days before the Heisman.
- 46:20Speaker 4: The Heisman is.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Notre Dame is Army Navy Weekend, which is the following weekend.
- 46:27Speaker 1: So we get well, yes, but we get.
- 46:30Speaker 4: To include the conference championships before we vote for the Heisman.
- 46:35Speaker 4: In other words, yeah, I'd like to see the Heisman
- 46:41Speaker 4: after the national championship. But hey, that's just.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And I'm not you know, I don't have any real
- 46:51Speaker 1: depot award show.
- 46:53Speaker 17: Yes, uh includes Dave O'Brien, jim.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Let Poltnic cough.
- 47:01Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah, let's see here, hang on. Last year was December.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Twelfth, Okay, so I thought it was a little earlier
- 47:13Speaker 4: this year.
- 47:13Speaker 17: But yeah, Ben Narwick, Blittna cough, Lou Groza, Ray Guy, Maxwell, Davey, O'Brien, Outland, Okay, Thorpe, yeah, Walker.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Okay, all of those Yeah, okay, And I wish they
- 47:32Speaker 4: were later, not not earlier. But hey, that's just me.
- 47:35Speaker 4: It's not just youtub Other people wish the same thing.
- 47:39Speaker 17: Yes, good now, Okay, the bowl season, the regular season
- 47:46Speaker 17: is no different, all right? Basketball, college sports? I want
- 47:50Speaker 17: those numbers in there. What about MVP in the NFL
- 47:57Speaker 17: and Major League Baseball?
- 47:58Speaker 4: I don't know when there's when it's it's a regular
- 48:00Speaker 4: season award?
- 48:02Speaker 1: Are they don't They don't pretend that it's not right, Okay,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I mean that that's fine, uh to me. Especially the
- 48:14Speaker 1: Heisman is like a year it's it's the year award, right,
- 48:18Speaker 1: it's the best player in football award.
- 48:21Speaker 4: And I think we ought to see that play out.
- 48:24Speaker 1: The more games, the more information we have, right, yes,
- 48:28Speaker 1: and especially and by the way, you can have players
- 48:34Speaker 1: that don't certainly don't win a national championship win the Heisman.
- 48:38Speaker 1: You can have players that maybe don't even get to
- 48:41Speaker 1: the playoffs win a.
- 48:42Speaker 4: Heisman if you're a Notre Dame. No, I mean if
- 48:47Speaker 4: you're somewhere else too. Johnny went in the playoffs, no
- 48:54Speaker 4: multa yes, but but winning record. Yes, but the ball
- 48:59Speaker 4: was out on a team of the winning record. The
- 49:01Speaker 4: bowl game was after the Heisman.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Yes, vote, So he won on a regular season So
- 49:10Speaker 1: it can happen. Uh, probably won't happen often, but it
- 49:14Speaker 1: can happen.
- 49:15Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 49:17Speaker 17: You play quarterback.
- 49:18Speaker 4: Quarterback is a good position to play if you're gonna
- 49:20Speaker 4: win the Heisman.
- 49:22Speaker 17: Okay, you don't think Texas Texa linebacker has a chance
- 49:25Speaker 17: to win the.
- 49:25Speaker 4: High I do not. He's got none zero zip, not
- 49:30Speaker 4: a zilch none zero.
- 49:32Speaker 17: No, we'll only get one vote.
- 49:36Speaker 4: H somebody from Lubbock may may get two votes.
- 49:41Speaker 17: Will the cast two votes?
- 49:42Speaker 1: Maybe not not first not first place votes. Oh, not
- 49:46Speaker 1: first place votes, the first, second, and third. There, Yes,
- 49:49Speaker 1: you get to go first, second, third, so we'll see.
- 49:52Speaker 1: All right, Uh, we've got about five minutes to talk. Basketball.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Was Stockton basketball? I watched a lot of basketball night
- 50:01Speaker 1: I love Thanksgiving weekend because I get to see almost
- 50:06Speaker 1: every top college basketball team playing tournament starting that week,
- 50:10Speaker 1: like that Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. And so but last night, man,
- 50:16Speaker 1: we had we had really really competitive, good basketball game.
- 50:20Speaker 17: And I'm not saying that they shouldn't, But why all
- 50:23Speaker 17: of a sudden because Louisville is good this year? Is
- 50:26Speaker 17: this game important.
- 50:27Speaker 4: Again Louisville Kentucky.
- 50:28Speaker 17: Yeah, because it's it's.
- 50:31Speaker 1: The earliest in like forty years they've played in the
- 50:34Speaker 1: month of November and.
- 50:36Speaker 17: The first time in the last five that it was
- 50:38Speaker 17: sold out, the first time in six years in Louisville
- 50:42Speaker 17: that it was sold on. Okay, six years.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I heard that in Louisville. Yeah, it's crazy. Stat Well
- 50:46Speaker 1: I never would have dreamed that. But but as you mentioned,
- 50:49Speaker 1: Louisville wasn't very good for a stretch, right right, they're
- 50:52Speaker 1: really good now they have I don't know if he's
- 50:56Speaker 1: the best player in college basketball yet.
- 50:58Speaker 4: It's way way too early.
- 51:00Speaker 17: I said, guy from Oklahoma State that didn't play the
- 51:02Speaker 17: other day.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I heard by you, No, no, by you.
- 51:07Speaker 17: It's a guy from Oklahoma State. I heard him say
- 51:09Speaker 17: it on the broadcast.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I heard him say he's pretty good. I don't know
- 51:12Speaker 1: anything about it.
- 51:12Speaker 17: No, he said he was as good as as good
- 51:14Speaker 17: a scorer as a guy from Texas Tech.
- 51:17Speaker 4: That guy last night put thirty five up Topping. He
- 51:20Speaker 4: was he was pretty good.
- 51:24Speaker 1: They couldn't stop him, but he didn't have enough help.
- 51:27Speaker 1: They couldn't shoot, no, because they couldn't shoot the ball Illinois,
- 51:31Speaker 1: and Illinois was, you know, they're pretty good. They were
- 51:35Speaker 1: at home. I mean they're a good team, don't get
- 51:37Speaker 1: me wrong. Tech got down thirteen, came and went ahead
- 51:43Speaker 1: in the second half, and then it was back and
- 51:46Speaker 1: forth and most of the time. Illinois ended up winning
- 51:49Speaker 1: by four because Topping only scored thirty five. If he
- 51:52Speaker 1: had scored forty, they would have won. Florida, Florida State.
- 51:57Speaker 1: That was a great game. Florida obviously defending national champs
- 52:02Speaker 1: aren't aren't nearly as good as what they were a
- 52:04Speaker 1: year ago, but they have some good players, as you
- 52:06Speaker 1: would suspect.
- 52:07Speaker 4: They have two big.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Players from last year that are very good, so they're
- 52:10Speaker 1: going to be good. And they have a boogie Flann
- 52:14Speaker 1: from Arkansas. And he didn't play great last night.
- 52:18Speaker 17: He didn't play great at times.
- 52:19Speaker 4: He did not he did not, but he was hurt.
- 52:23Speaker 4: He was hurt for for much of that.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Season, by the way, So we'll we'll see how that
- 52:30Speaker 1: works out. Louisville really good and then who else did
- 52:36Speaker 1: that much?
- 52:38Speaker 4: So Louisville, so Florida, Florida State, Illinois.
- 52:42Speaker 1: No. I watched uh good Zaga, Creighton, not all of that,
- 52:47Speaker 1: because that was that tip. I saw the tip. I
- 52:51Speaker 1: didn't I didn't stay for a lot of the game,
- 52:53Speaker 1: and it was too late for me. But it was
- 52:55Speaker 1: close in the first half and then and then the
- 52:58Speaker 1: Zags pulled away. And those are two teams. I saw
- 53:00Speaker 1: a lot of good teams. I saw a lot of
- 53:02Speaker 1: good players last night, a lot of good players, and
- 53:07Speaker 1: it was it was fun night to watch college basketball.
- 53:11Speaker 1: And I think I think A and M will play
- 53:15Speaker 1: better Friday night than they did last Sunday. If they don't,
- 53:18Speaker 1: that's going to be a problem because they were horrible.
- 53:21Speaker 1: But I think they will play better Friday night, well
- 53:24Speaker 1: against a team that beat them last year. Yes, and
- 53:30Speaker 1: I hope Mbacco plays.
- 53:33Speaker 17: I don't think he's gonna play. I mean, I'm gonna
- 53:36Speaker 17: go with the end of ten days, we'll see. I'm
- 53:40Speaker 17: gonna be a little conservative.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Okay, well they've been pretty conservative. But I hope he plays.
- 53:44Speaker 17: We didn't know if Pops was gonna play.
- 53:46Speaker 4: That's correct.
- 53:48Speaker 17: And you know I still shooters at score in the
- 53:57Speaker 17: first basket, by the way, have much better games, by
- 54:00Speaker 17: the way. And Pop's listened the first three. He's played
- 54:04Speaker 17: enough games that that I'm not.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Thinking he hasn't played.
- 54:07Speaker 1: He's had seven practices and I'm told today he had
- 54:10Speaker 1: a surgery on a knee in July that they didn't
- 54:15Speaker 1: talk about. So let's give Pop a little more time.
- 54:19Speaker 17: But that's what I'm saying. It's not going to affect
- 54:21Speaker 17: him one way or the other. You don't get in
- 54:23Speaker 17: his head with the airball and all exactly he's been
- 54:26Speaker 17: He's played too many college basketball games. But he's a
- 54:29Speaker 17: guy coming back from this. In the short amount of
- 54:31Speaker 17: time he's practice. You want to see the first couple
- 54:34Speaker 17: going in the basket.
- 54:35Speaker 12: You do.
- 54:35Speaker 1: But he's he's going to be better. He's still playing
- 54:38Speaker 1: his way into shape.
- 54:40Speaker 19: Uh.
- 54:40Speaker 1: That makes a lot more sense to me finding out
- 54:43Speaker 1: he had another surgery that you know, he's been a
- 54:46Speaker 1: little slower to recover because he had one last year.
- 54:50Speaker 1: So uh, he will be better. They still haven't had
- 54:54Speaker 1: their three I think at practice. This week was the
- 54:56Speaker 1: first time they've had all three on the court at
- 54:58Speaker 1: the same time.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Right with with Pop and Mbacco and Roley Griffin.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Who who is another guy that he's got to pick
- 55:08Speaker 1: it up? He's got to be better.
- 55:10Speaker 17: Yeah, you're not thinking about Alabama Ryan Griffin.
- 55:12Speaker 4: You want the Alabama Ryland Griffin. There's no doubt about that.
- 55:16Speaker 4: All right, we'll close out the first hour. We got
- 55:18Speaker 4: football coming up.
