- 0:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We do have this huge goal of wanting to reach and help at least three billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond.
- 1:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we can't do that without your help.
- 1:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We aren't here without you wanting the show.
- 1:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, we could have packed up a long time ago and just said, you know what?
- 1:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um we're done, we're finished.
- 1:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But um it's uh from from you, from your demand all over the world, not just here in the United States, and that's just mind-blowing to me.
- 1:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, and we're we're grateful, and I personally am absolutely grateful and thankful that you are uh with us on this particular episode, and you can let your contacts know that they can get the voices for voices podcast wherever they get podcasts and wherever you get podcasts.
- 1:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh we are everywhere.
- 1:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, we have a lot of options.
- 2:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So no matter where you're at, if you're traveling, you're home, you're on the go, uh, you can find Voices for Voices.
- 2:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And if this is your first show, welcome.
- 2:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you've been with us from the beginning, welcome back.
- 2:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And if this is your first show, we have quite the catalog, over 540 episodes.
- 2:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um so we have quite the the uh the the catalog that uh the you can probably find quite a few uh earlier shows that we we have completed that uh you'd uh find interesting and want to listen and would like to watch.
- 2:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So don't take it from me, take it from the viewers or listeners.
- 2:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's because of you that we're here.
- 2:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh today is a uh sorry if my nose is itching for some reason.
- 3:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh today's a Monday when we're filming.
- 3:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Mondays are I don't know, Mondays get a bad rap.
- 3:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um because it in most cases means back to work, back to back to the grind, back to uh yeah, back to work.
- 3:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And with us, we really don't have I'd say every day of the week on any given week, uh yesterday being a uh a rare exception where we haven't filmed or we haven't edited uh shows.
- 3:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh but every day's a Monday for us, so uh we don't have quite that I don't know, that nervous feeling that kind of comes over you know around you know two or three in the afternoon, or maybe even sooner, maybe a little bit later, that the body recognizes that tomorrow's Monday, I gotta get back into the real world, yeah, working working at nine to five, the eight to five, the nine to nine, whatever whatever your uh your hours are.
- 4:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh I think with us being a well-oiled machine, we're able to minimize the amount of time that we are filming and and that and editing from the beginning.
- 5:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Now everything's relative.
- 5:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh at the beginning, it took quite a long time to go through the process.
- 5:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh still takes a a bit of time to go through the process, but the early days were the days that were and they were brutal.
- 5:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They were very, very brutal, and and that's why I said what I said about we could have packed it up, and I'm like, you know what, I'm not gonna you know take my time to uh to do this.
- 5:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There and then stories started and feedback started coming back to us about the importance and how our show at one time or another has either helped them, you, somebody you know, somebody another person knows.
- 6:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that's when we we thought, you know, this is bigger than us, this is bigger than me as a person, this is bigger than me and others with the organization.
- 6:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It really is.
- 6:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And when you find out that what you're working on could very well be bigger than you know, just the you know, the eight to five, and you know, what's the reward to it?
- 6:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, for me, helping somebody so they don't take their life, I think that's a pretty big thing.
- 6:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Do you get paid for all that?
- 6:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it's like, no, not necessarily.
- 7:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're gonna do our thing.
- 7:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, if you're you're interested, come on back.
- 7:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we've had a lot of return uh listeners, return viewers.
- 7:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um it's uh it's one of those things where you have to be you have to be confident in what you're doing.
- 7:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And like I said, those early days, you know, I I I I was doing a lot of looking around.
- 7:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know.
- 7:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know about this.
- 7:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is this gonna this gonna pan out?
- 7:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is this gonna work out?
- 7:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And now here we are, 540 episodes, our downloads and views and the stats that statistics that we can see, the analytics we can see, uh are just exploding.
- 8:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh this month is gonna be at least over was it 2021 we started?
- 8:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think it was at the end of the year 2021.
- 8:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Anyways, so in all the all the years that we've we've done this show, all the months that have ticked by, all right, because time doesn't stop, doesn't stand still.
- 8:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes we want it to keep going and go faster and faster and faster.
- 8:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know.
- 8:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I used to be like that, you know, wait for that, you know, the next big thing, and I still have that.
- 9:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I still have that you know impatience.
- 9:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um but I think that's just me as a human being, that uh that's all that is.
- 9:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh it's uh I I mean you see me shaking my head and at a loss for words at times, but it's it's because it's true.
- 9:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We we would not be here, we would not have a show, we would not have an organization, we would not be where we are and where we're going if it wasn't for you.
- 9:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So thank you.
- 10:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, you see the hand, see the hands and the heart in the middle.
- 10:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, we want to be careful with everybody's heart.
- 10:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes topics are very hard to talk about.
- 10:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes they're easy to talk about.
- 10:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But this this doesn't depict me or anybody at our organization.
- 10:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is the higher power.
- 10:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is for me.
- 10:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is God.
- 10:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: He's got He's got us.
- 10:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: He's got our hearts in his hands.
- 10:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: While we think we have control, we really don't.
- 10:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We may be offer two different decisions and we can pick which one we want, but that doesn't mean that one of the decisions was one that came from him.
- 11:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So getting back to the Monday, the Monday discussion.
- 11:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I didn't want to wake up this morning.
- 11:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was snoozing.
- 11:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Literally.
- 11:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's very uh as as I'm uh you know thinking and uh as we're we're having this episode go, I'm trying to think of I'm trying to think of how many times my al uh over the years that my alarm's gone off to wake me up, and it's been more than like a minute or two for me to turn it off and then wake up.
- 12:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But today was one of those.
- 12:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Today was a rough one.
- 12:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was like, can I just can I just sleep us a little bit more?
- 12:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I think that's another telltale sign of us and our organization, where there's a lot of days we don't want to wake up.
- 12:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want to keep sleeping.
- 12:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't want to say like we don't want to wake up.
- 12:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's just that we just want to keep sleeping.
- 12:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want to wake up.
- 12:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean that that's for me as a given.
- 12:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um but yeah, I uh my alarm went off for quite a while.
- 13:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh and then there's times where I'll turn the alarm off, not realizing I turned the alarm off.
- 13:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And and then I wake up and it's like an hour later, and I'm like, oh no.
- 13:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was supposed to do you know these two things, just one thing before this time.
- 13:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But we're all human and it's okay.
- 13:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, I can probably count from what I remember, maybe I mean less than ten times.
- 13:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then now this doesn't count.
- 13:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was growing up and my mom was waking me up for school because that was always oh my gosh.
- 13:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It it was it was a struggle to wake up when I was in primary school.
- 14:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Very much so, very much so.
- 14:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So Mondays just are the one of those days where the week's getting started.
- 14:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want a little extra rest.
- 14:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I had a uh an errand I needed to run by a certain time.
- 14:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But then I was like, well, then I'm not gonna get to the gym, which today was an on day, not an off day.
- 14:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I was like, alright, so this is where it's like a domino effect, right?
- 15:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So hit the snooze, don't wake up in time, and sort of rushing around trying to get the you know, get get everything situated, and then get to the gym.
- 15:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Now there's plenty of time for me to go to the gym.
- 15:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I have a lot of hours of the day that I can choose to go.
- 15:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: A lot of hours.
- 15:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I just thought, well, I'm up.
- 15:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's in the vicinity of the air that I'm uh have to run.
- 15:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I probably need to wake up.
- 15:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I need to wake up right now.
- 15:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I can't sleep more.
- 16:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I got up, so I woke up.
- 16:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And the day got started, and everything was just fine.
- 16:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Went to run my errand, went to the gym, got back, and here we are, we're we're doing a show.
- 16:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, the weekend was pretty pretty productive.
- 16:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's just hard when it feels like not making the right decision or decisions.
- 16:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So it's that whole prioritizing thing.
- 16:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I don't I guess I don't do it very well.
- 17:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it's something that I'm trying to work on.
- 17:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then I bounce try to balance that with what we're doing with voices for voices.
- 17:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Cause we're not a fly by night show, fly by night organization.
- 17:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're not here and then gone.
- 17:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't pick up the most popular Hollywood buzz or you know, the these terms that are trending by our showing organization is rooted in mental health, no matter what.
- 17:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Whether it was when we started the organization and whether we're right here right now and into the future.
- 18:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Some organizations can say that.
- 18:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not all though.
- 18:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's okay to evolve as a company, as an organization.
- 18:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I just prefer that the reason why we're doing what we're doing is because when we got started, those were the things that got us started.
- 18:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I think that it is a good thing to stick with and stay grounded in the I won't say philosophy, but stay grounded in the activities, the themes.
- 19:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, I I look at it so many other organizations.
- 19:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So many are doing so great work.
- 19:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But they're looking for the buzzwords, they're looking for what's trending.
- 19:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we're not.
- 19:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're looking at how do we survive?
- 19:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: How do we how do we get through this as a human race?
- 19:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: How do we get through these times of darkness?
- 20:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: How do we get through people talking down on us?
- 20:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And not even that, not even just that.
- 20:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But how do we get through when people don't say anything?
- 20:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So it's not the fact that they say too much.
- 20:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It it's just getting the cold shoulder.
- 20:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's like, all right, so do I exist or do I not exist?
- 20:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that for me is is is very hard.
- 21:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's very hard.
- 21:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If somebody says something so you at least know where they they stand or where they're at.
- 21:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But when you see these actions and y don't get a you don't get any feedback that makes somebody not feel great.
- 21:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Wondering if they're doing the right thing.
- 21:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Right things.
- 22:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that's what and that that's without a blueprint of what can I do to get the conversation started again?
- 22:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: What can I do?
- 22:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And these are hard, hard, hard, hard, hard topics to talk about.
- 22:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's true though, and that's why we talk about them.
- 22:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because they're personal, because they're intimate, because somebody else is going through or has gone through, or maybe in the future will go through, hopefully not, some of these situations that I'm referring to.
- 23:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, when people talk about like, oh, it hurt feelings and this is the part like in business where I don't I don't get it.
- 23:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So this was a couple years ago.
- 23:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I was given or met through a Chamber of Commerce event, a person I had a need to get voices for voices trademarked and registered and all that with the United States Patent and Trade Office.
- 24:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This individual claim, oh yeah, we could do that.
- 24:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Next thing I know, I'm in a 12-month contract with these individuals, and then I end up spending twelve thousand dollars as opposed to two or three thousand.
- 24:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I was upset at myself.
- 24:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, I think we all spread ourselves too thin sometimes, but that's what I did, that's what I was doing.
- 24:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I had I had spread myself too thin, I wanted to do so many things, and I didn't have any help.
- 25:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I was just I don't know.
- 25:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I just went along with it.
- 25:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Bad decision, very bad decision.
- 25:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Should have never made it, should have consulted with somebody.
- 25:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Didn't so I was very upset with myself.
- 25:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean it was it was brutal because of the not just because of the money, which was a huge part, but because we weren't getting anywhere as an organization.
- 25:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That twelve thousand didn't put us on a map, you know, as far as like you know, this organization's viral or whatever the thought and thinking process is.
- 26:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Terrible decision.
- 27:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I should have stopped at the beginning and said, nope, this is all I need.
- 27:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Either you can do it or you can't and so it made me upset.
- 27:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Partially at these individuals who are milking me for money, and then me going, Oh, you really screwed this one up, Justin.
- 27:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, those inner inner thoughts that you know come in our minds.
- 27:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like, see, told you couldn't do it.
- 27:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I had all this negative tart going on in my mind.
- 28:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, right rightfully so.
- 28:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I made a terrible decision.
- 28:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So then we start questioning are we doing what we want to do?
- 28:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Are we doing what helps people?
- 28:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so you know, we're kind of like looking in the mirror and like evaluating ourselves.
- 28:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like you know, I kind of think of the the scene where you have the cold water and you splash on your face, and then you know, some great idea just comes along.
- 29:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, it wasn't like that for me.
- 29:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think I might have splashed my face with the cold water, but the thing um wasn't wasn't happening, and I wasn't again, I was so bogged down with stuff that didn't even matter with our organization.
- 29:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't mean that I guess I don't mean it it didn't matter, it just didn't matter to the extent it was being told to me.
- 29:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: The first thing, man, you gotta get an office.
- 29:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You gotta get an office.
- 29:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You people come see you, blah blah.
- 29:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I got this office space, you know, to really cheap, and I'm sitting there thinking, like, man, we don't have donations to cover this, so I can't get an office.
- 30:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like it doesn't, I I did I just it just won't work.
- 30:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Then there was the event that I held.
- 30:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think it was our second annual, a brand new day event.
- 30:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: In this particular organization, I would be kind of not milking me for money.
- 30:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They were telling me this and that, and they would help market it, and they would do this, and they didn't do anything.
- 30:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They didn't they didn't show up to the table and do what they said they were gonna do.
- 30:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, I feel bad when I'm not able to do what I tell somebody that I can do with a high level of certainty.
- 31:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was given, oh yeah, that's easy.
- 31:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We'll let everybody know.
- 31:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Didn't sell any more extra tickets because of their messages and their marketing, yet I was paying thousands of dollars for this.
- 31:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So all this is just meant to be an experience that I went through.
- 31:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It doesn't mean that everything's close to perfect now, doesn't mean that it just means that I'm a little bit more careful about things like this.
- 32:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like if somebody says, Oh this, this, and that, I'll go and meet with them.
- 32:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Are they a real person?
- 32:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Let me see what you you said you can do.
- 32:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, it's all about you know, living and learning and researching and never stop educating ourselves.
- 32:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: The reason I went through that whole story, because I don't want you or anybody else to go through something like that.
- 32:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If something doesn't feel right, if the if somebody says, Yeah, Justin, I can do that, have them go through a bunch of the steps to prove to you that they can do this.
- 33:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because what else I learned was that this organization had never done what I was asking them to do.
- 33:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They had never done it, they had no attorney on staff, and ultimately that's when it ended up happening.
- 33:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I ended up not only spending the 12 grand and have it not pan out from no ticket sales, um, no registration from the United States Patent and Trade Office for Voices for Voices, Voices, Voices, for Voices.
- 33:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I had to still go to an attorney and spend five thousand or and even more than what I wanted to spend, but I was so bent on we gotta get this trademarked, we've got to get this trademarked, and that's some of the silliest, worst decision making I've ever made in my life.
- 34:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I have no problem talking about it.
- 34:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because there ain't nobody on this earth that's perfect.
- 34:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Nobody.
- 34:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No matter, you're not perfect.
- 34:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Nobody is.
- 34:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You just have a lot of people that handle these types of things.
- 34:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So you don't have to be in the know and have to worry, you don't have to think about that.
- 35:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, I do.
- 35:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So that was the double whammy spending the twelve grand and getting zilch zero in in return and still not having the application file.
- 35:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I had to find an attorney.
- 35:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Oh, I found one.
- 35:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They gouged me, yep.
- 35:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Got the job done finally.
- 35:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I just took the person at their word when I met them at this chamber of commerce meeting, that they could do it, that they've done it before, that they know how to do it.
- 36:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They know all the steps, that they know all this and that and the other.
- 36:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They didn't know anything.
- 36:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No.
- 36:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: A review that I did back way back when in that honeymoon phase, the first month or so.
- 36:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm telling you, Hopkins, consulting, marketing, whatever they change their name to, but Hopkins is the name.
- 37:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I vehemently am begging you not to do business with them.
- 37:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm telling you, right here, right now, do not do business with them.
- 37:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They lie.
- 37:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They lie and they lie.
- 37:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They'll take your money, bring you into the office, you know, right?
- 37:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You want some water or coffee?
- 37:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They do the whole thing, the whole dog and pony show.
- 37:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: When it comes down to substance, you're not getting it.
- 38:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So Hopkins.
- 38:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I pray that nobody from our Voices for Voices, viewing, viewership, listenership does any business with you.
- 38:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is a public service announcement.
- 38:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Public safety announcement.
- 38:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Why?
- 38:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because I think losing your money is a public safety concern.
- 38:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not getting the job done, people in the community need to know this.
- 38:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's why we're talking about it.
- 38:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's why we're sharing about it.
- 39:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I was driving home.
- 39:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, finally got that contract finished.
- 39:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
- 39:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then I put another one on with the attorneys, but at least these attorneys knew what they were doing.
- 39:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: More than Hopkins.
- 39:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Do not do business with Hopkins.
- 39:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Please, I'm begging you.
- 39:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you are, get out of your contract if you can.
- 39:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't want to see anybody else hurt.
- 39:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Anyone else swindled?
- 40:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because we started the conversation where it was just gonna be 3,000, they were gonna be able to do the thing, and then it turned into a contract.
- 40:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like, oh, we're gonna do all these things for you, all this marketing.
- 40:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And like I said, there were no additional tickets sold from their marketing initiatives.
- 40:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There just wasn't.
- 40:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm not gonna sit here and lie about it.
- 40:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There wasn't.
- 40:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we talked a little bit lighthearted.
- 40:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We got into some of the uh some of the harder topics on the Monday.
