- 0:01Speaker 1: Hold on, hold up? Maybe easy, so though up, hold up?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Joe Sorr, produced by me Oh c T What It
- 0:18Speaker 1: Do Bag producer Yo what It Alright? Following nations, we
- 0:24Speaker 1: are back for another episode of the Bot Alert Show podcast.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Of course, we are staying safe. We are practicing the
- 0:30Speaker 1: social distancing, so we are recording the show from home today,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and I hope everybody else's home no matter what your
- 0:36Speaker 1: mayor or governor said. Facts hashtag stay home, stay your
- 0:40Speaker 1: ass home? All right? What you've been up to? I've
- 0:43Speaker 1: been quarantining at the house. I've been working on the
- 0:45Speaker 1: radio from home, and I am talking to you guys
- 0:49Speaker 1: from home. You did I ain't doing damn quarantine quarantine, quartine, quarantine, quarantine,
- 0:54Speaker 1: Sue solo, how have you been doing? I've been good, Um,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I realized this week and probably really fat at this point.
- 1:02Speaker 1: So it's time for you to get out of the house.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I've been kicking it at my home boy's warehouse support
- 1:07Speaker 1: Black colleges. You know they have like those sweaters and hats.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You've been at the house only two times this week.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I had to be out the house. Um, but like
- 1:15Speaker 1: it's a small warehouse, they don't have more than three
- 1:17Speaker 1: or four people in there at the time, so it's
- 1:19Speaker 1: still cute. But I had to be robber because I
- 1:24Speaker 1: ain't doing nothing but eating at home. You know, I'm
- 1:26Speaker 1: literally dressed eating and I get on my scale every
- 1:30Speaker 1: day and that that bit is going up. Okay, Like
- 1:33Speaker 1: those are not the numbers that I want to go up?
- 1:37Speaker 1: All right? Bank accountdown, weight up? That don't what's going
- 1:41Speaker 1: on with you? How? You know? It don't stop because
- 1:43Speaker 1: we are here working every day, and every day we're working,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'll always get to the money's and since we get
- 1:50Speaker 1: into the moneys, it is time for In case you
- 1:54Speaker 1: missed that. All right, y'all, Fresh Montana is really smoking dope. Okay,
- 2:02Speaker 1: he has to be smoken dope in real life. I
- 2:04Speaker 1: know y'all heard what he said in the last couple
- 2:07Speaker 1: of days. He said that he had more hit records
- 2:10Speaker 1: than Kendrick Lamar. Okay. So for y'all who don't know
- 2:14Speaker 1: by now, I don't know where the hell you've been
- 2:16Speaker 1: if you don't. But Versus was created by Swiss Beats
- 2:19Speaker 1: and Timberland, and it features two respected artists or producers
- 2:24Speaker 1: battling it out on social media. But it's more about
- 2:27Speaker 1: the love for each other, the love and respect. It's
- 2:30Speaker 1: not like a battle like you know that, it's not
- 2:33Speaker 1: disrespectful at all. So typically what happens is the two
- 2:37Speaker 1: people are people that are kind of like in the
- 2:40Speaker 1: same genre or you know, they were in the same era.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So French Montana decided that this man feels that he
- 2:49Speaker 1: can go in with Kendrick Lamar. The French is my
- 2:56Speaker 1: guide though, but yeah, they're are where near the same.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Like Wrench Montana, you're not a conscious rapper at all.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I don't remember anything serious that you said that has
- 3:07Speaker 1: touched my spirit in any kind of way. Hold on,
- 3:10Speaker 1: hold up that pop, that video would touched my spirit,
- 3:13Speaker 1: that pop that video touched my spirit that it did. Okay,
- 3:18Speaker 1: that's great. That's one out of all of Kendrick Lamar's
- 3:21Speaker 1: tracks that Kendrick Lamar does not have one verse anywhere
- 3:25Speaker 1: where he doesn't say something real. That man is consistent.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So you might have some club hits, you might have
- 3:32Speaker 1: more things that DJs are playing, but Kendrick Lamar like, no, bro,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you don't have more his than Kindred and Uh. French
- 3:40Speaker 1: posted a list of songs that he was on and
- 3:43Speaker 1: that were his and I just didn't agree with the list. Now,
- 3:47Speaker 1: the list was accurate as far as the songs being
- 3:50Speaker 1: dope and lit, but some of the songs weren't his,
- 3:53Speaker 1: like the one were these hojse Ain't loyal. That's a
- 3:56Speaker 1: Chris Brown record and it features like uh little Wayne
- 4:01Speaker 1: Tiger french Montana in his verses like last credit for
- 4:07Speaker 1: his features and that's cool, but no, that's not how
- 4:12Speaker 1: That's not how versus works. It has to you have to,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I believe I saw you have to either be the
- 4:18Speaker 1: main or the the on the song or the second
- 4:22Speaker 1: main of the song. A facts can't be you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: fourth verse on a record that don't count in my opinion. Well,
- 4:30Speaker 1: Atlanta's own young Thugga Thugger heard about it and he
- 4:34Speaker 1: was like, hold up, I know french Montana did not
- 4:38Speaker 1: just say that something's wrong with this man. Yeah, you know,
- 4:44Speaker 1: tug is definitely Uh he actually has a point. I'm
- 4:47Speaker 1: not I'm not that he never has a point. He's
- 4:49Speaker 1: a he's a very intelligent guy. Uh. He did have
- 4:54Speaker 1: something to say and his videos were funny. Um, I
- 4:57Speaker 1: think it's got. It got a little aggressive though, the
- 5:00Speaker 1: d M showing the d ms of their dispute back
- 5:03Speaker 1: in August. It was a little aggressive, but you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: Thug is with the ships. Uh. The part that took
- 5:09Speaker 1: me out was my Thug was like, I wore the
- 5:12Speaker 1: dress because I thought of the love. Well, you know,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you know thugs, Thug is. You know, he likes Marilyn
- 5:21Speaker 1: Manson and um, you know, he's a rock star. So
- 5:24Speaker 1: I get what Thug does. A lot of people don't.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But I mean, he's really into his artistry. And I'm
- 5:30Speaker 1: not trying to take up a thug, but he's really
- 5:32Speaker 1: into that artistry type of stuff. So he did mean
- 5:35Speaker 1: what he said, but you know, I get it and
- 5:38Speaker 1: I respect it. It was just fun Twitter. It was
- 5:40Speaker 1: just funny to hear it, like, hey, nigga, I wore
- 5:43Speaker 1: that dress your video to show love. I was like, what, Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I understand Thug, So I understand what he was trying
- 5:53Speaker 1: to say. But yeah, their French post. Did you see
- 5:57Speaker 1: the picture that French posted with Thug with the lipstick
- 5:59Speaker 1: not the lips they I don't know. I didn't look real.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I assumed in I was like, that is not thugger.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He playing with the wrong person. I'm just letting you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: so speaking up playing with the wrong person. Obviously. Producer
- 6:13Speaker 1: Wheezy feels the same way because he actually posted on
- 6:15Speaker 1: his Instagram story prayers up for French Montana and right,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and then Gonna reposted that and added on to it
- 6:24Speaker 1: saying because he's gonna need him. Now. Look if y'all
- 6:27Speaker 1: know how Atlanta, no, stop playing. Don't do that like
- 6:32Speaker 1: he might wear a dress. Complications and big fellow alright,
- 6:39Speaker 1: speaking up complications and situations. Let's talk about these dabby daddies.
- 6:45Speaker 1: They is out here. So Mostica is putting fetti wop
- 6:49Speaker 1: on blast talking about he's a dead beat and he's
- 6:51Speaker 1: not there for the kid, which is so crazy because
- 6:54Speaker 1: we have this perception that he's a good dad. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: maybe I'm making it up. I don't know where that
- 6:59Speaker 1: came from. I feel like I've been reading and seeing
- 7:02Speaker 1: people because that's all. He makes good music because the
- 7:07Speaker 1: babies are so pretty. I don't know. I don't know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: but I thought he was a good daddy and and
- 7:11Speaker 1: and and I don't think that he's not just because
- 7:14Speaker 1: Mosica said it. Obviously, I don't know what's true. We
- 7:17Speaker 1: don't know anything. But I don't know, but I do
- 7:21Speaker 1: believe that Takashi Snitch nine is a is a deadbeat daddy.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I definitely believe that. So y'all know, the boy has
- 7:28Speaker 1: been out of prison for a couple of weeks now.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He was sentenced to immediately like two years on rico
- 7:35Speaker 1: charges because he literally blasted all his homeboys. He snitched
- 7:40Speaker 1: on everybody. He's a sucker, but he was sucker that
- 7:43Speaker 1: was still making money in jail, which is sad. The
- 7:46Speaker 1: boy I think he got like he made ten million
- 7:48Speaker 1: dollars in jail. Anyway, he's been out of prison for
- 7:52Speaker 1: a couple of weeks now, and his baby mama, Sarah Molina,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I believe it's her last name. She said that he's
- 7:57Speaker 1: still ghosting their kid, and she she couldn't believe it
- 8:01Speaker 1: because this man kept saying to the judge, I need
- 8:04Speaker 1: to be free to take care of my daughter. My
- 8:06Speaker 1: daughter needs me. The baby mama was like, we'll stop
- 8:09Speaker 1: using our our child as a gimmick, Like, look, you're
- 8:14Speaker 1: not an active member in this child's life. Please at
- 8:17Speaker 1: this point, keep her name out your mount. Don't try
- 8:20Speaker 1: to use the fact that you are technically a father
- 8:24Speaker 1: biologically her father as an excuse to help you get
- 8:27Speaker 1: out of prison. You don't sniffs on everybody if it's
- 8:29Speaker 1: not an active gang member either, Okay, we he is
- 8:34Speaker 1: so not an active gang member. So I think it's
- 8:37Speaker 1: really selfish to him because he's doing all he has done,
- 8:40Speaker 1: all this trolling, he's snitched on all these people, and
- 8:42Speaker 1: he's constantly yelling at my daughter, my daughter, my daughter,
- 8:44Speaker 1: leave her out of it, let her be. I think, uh,
- 8:48Speaker 1: he's probably not gonna make a statement or do anything.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He's probably he's on strict um social media guidelines um
- 8:56Speaker 1: per his court order. I believe once he gets our probation,
- 8:59Speaker 1: he'll be back with the bullshit. But as of right now,
- 9:03Speaker 1: he's behaving via social media. I don't even believe he
- 9:06Speaker 1: posted anything yet at all. Right, Well, when the city
- 9:11Speaker 1: of Los Angeles or the state of California put out
- 9:14Speaker 1: a tweet, they said that they wanted people to call
- 9:17Speaker 1: them and report businesses that we're not practicing social distancing
- 9:22Speaker 1: or the Shelter in Place Act. This school actually commented
- 9:26Speaker 1: on that and said, what's the number I got you?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Like he's playing he cannot help himself.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's like, what can I help himself? But he hasn't
- 9:37Speaker 1: posted anything on his main page, not that I've seen,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but look he's calling mama. He's definitely telling the baby
- 9:45Speaker 1: Mama talking about I haven't been in our child's lives
- 9:48Speaker 1: since I came out because I want the pandemic to pass.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm protecting her. Yeah, man, you can pick up the call.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You can't pass. You can't give somebody the damn coronavirus
- 9:57Speaker 1: to the phone. Okay, stupid ass snitch nine. All right, now,
- 10:03Speaker 1: moving on Pop Smoke, we got some good news for
- 10:05Speaker 1: his family. Y'all know, Pop was fatally killed out in
- 10:08Speaker 1: l A. He was in a very really nice, rich
- 10:12Speaker 1: people rental home that he was at with one of
- 10:14Speaker 1: his friends, and he looks like he showed some things
- 10:16Speaker 1: off on social media. People found the address. Unfortunately he
- 10:20Speaker 1: was killed in that home. So before all that happened,
- 10:25Speaker 1: he was actually charged with stealing a Rolls Royce or
- 10:30Speaker 1: driving a Rolls Royce out of out of state lines
- 10:33Speaker 1: knowing that it was stolen them. Well, those chargers have
- 10:37Speaker 1: been dropped, so good good for them. I can't imagine
- 10:41Speaker 1: what that feels like to you know what, I never
- 10:44Speaker 1: understood how is it that a deceased person could still
- 10:48Speaker 1: have pending charges on them, like what happened? Does anybody
- 10:51Speaker 1: don't know? What do you do? You know it's filed,
- 10:54Speaker 1: so you know they have to go in there. And
- 10:56Speaker 1: then because you can't necessarily sue a dead person and
- 11:00Speaker 1: who doesn't have in the state, you can sue the estate,
- 11:03Speaker 1: but don't. I don't think he was big enough to
- 11:05Speaker 1: have in the state, so he didn't. You know, that
- 11:08Speaker 1: stuff is really just gonna just stay there, So they
- 11:10Speaker 1: just dropped. I'm pretty sure that makes sense to drop everything.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Well good then, I guess in that case, because I
- 11:16Speaker 1: would hate for his family to have to deal with that,
- 11:18Speaker 1: Like you can't deal with losing a loved one and
- 11:21Speaker 1: then deal with that afterwards, like give them some time,
- 11:23Speaker 1: to hell, give them some space. So I'm glad that
- 11:28Speaker 1: nineteen so he was when he passed, which is the
- 11:32Speaker 1: same thing. Eight nine is the same damn thing. Alright.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Speaking of the same damn thing, it looks like Atlanta's
- 11:40Speaker 1: mayor is not on the same page as Georgia's Governor Kemp,
- 11:44Speaker 1: who wants to open the state up on Friday. Factuals
- 11:50Speaker 1: on Friday, So this Friday, this Friday. So Governor Kemp
- 11:55Speaker 1: of Georgia feels like they are ready to move on
- 11:59Speaker 1: into phase one of reopening the economy. He feels that
- 12:03Speaker 1: Bowling Alleys, movie theaters, barbershops, hair and nail salons, two parlors,
- 12:12Speaker 1: feel those things are ready to be open. You you
- 12:14Speaker 1: need to work, You need to see your glass at home.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's what you needed. No, no, no, yeah, you're right
- 12:20Speaker 1: that boys out of sanity. The tattoo or no, I need,
- 12:22Speaker 1: I do need. I do need to update my tats.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But that's not gonna happen no time soon because my tattoo,
- 12:27Speaker 1: my tattoo. Guys not opening this Friday. He's gonna sit
- 12:29Speaker 1: back and wait. Like for him, Good for him. I
- 12:31Speaker 1: love that there are some people that are leading by
- 12:33Speaker 1: example in doing that. Like Killer Mike is like, we're
- 12:36Speaker 1: not opening the shop. I'm gonna keep it closed. Um.
- 12:39Speaker 1: There are a couple of black owned hair salons that
- 12:41Speaker 1: are saying the same thing. They feel like it's too soon,
- 12:44Speaker 1: and it is. So. I've seen some nail salons that, Um,
- 12:50Speaker 1: there's some people that's in line what I saw. I
- 12:53Speaker 1: saw a picture um that was floating online. Some people
- 12:56Speaker 1: were standing outside the nail salon. Yeah, you know, I
- 13:00Speaker 1: think it's like as soon as these people go outside,
- 13:03Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, they get affected and you
- 13:05Speaker 1: know what if we have to what do people that's
- 13:07Speaker 1: inside I need to go out for essential items, and
- 13:09Speaker 1: then you know, they come into contact with these people
- 13:11Speaker 1: who don't give a damn exactly, thank you. That's the thing.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's definitely far too soon, no matter how they want
- 13:16Speaker 1: to kick it. So Governor Kemp is ready for it.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Atlanta's mayor. But in Atlanta is the capital of Georgia.
- 13:22Speaker 1: She actually came out and spoke. This is Keysha Lance Bottom.
- 13:25Speaker 1: She came out and she had her so sense about it. Well,
- 13:28Speaker 1: first I want you to hear what Governor Kemp said,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and then we'll jump into everything else. The decisions that
- 13:33Speaker 1: I'm making are made in conjunction with our public health
- 13:36Speaker 1: officials and based on the data that we're seeing, our
- 13:39Speaker 1: trends are going in the right direction. I want to
- 13:42Speaker 1: thank Jordan's for hunkering and down and doing the things
- 13:45Speaker 1: that we asked them to do. These businesses that had
- 13:48Speaker 1: to close. You know, they helped us flatten the curve
- 13:51Speaker 1: and get on the back side of this. And they're
- 13:53Speaker 1: they're really hurting out there, and we're looking forward to
- 13:56Speaker 1: this measured approach. So that was Governor Camp basically, damn fool. Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: he sounds real slow. He sounds like somebody that stole
- 14:04Speaker 1: the damn election. That's what he sounds. Sounds like somebody
- 14:07Speaker 1: that didn't know the information that was just reading. He
- 14:11Speaker 1: didn't even know how to put on a mask. No,
- 14:14Speaker 1: he didn't. He didn't put it on sideways, man. And
- 14:17Speaker 1: he did not know that asymptomatic people could give other
- 14:21Speaker 1: people to damn virus. Like he did not know that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Like he just was not on the same sound Come
- 14:27Speaker 1: here boy all the time, exactly exactly. The part that
- 14:31Speaker 1: really throws me off is he's like, we we had
- 14:33Speaker 1: this strict stay at home act to prepare for this.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's the part that threw me off. And what he
- 14:39Speaker 1: was saying, I'm like, did you do you hear yourself?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Do you hear what you're telling us? You're saying that
- 14:44Speaker 1: y'all had us and shut down so that you can
- 14:46Speaker 1: prepare for an influx of debts. The only reason, or cases,
- 14:50Speaker 1: the only reason we're gonna have an influx is because
- 14:52Speaker 1: you're opening the damn state too soon, far too soon.
- 14:56Speaker 1: So Keisha hit up CNN. She doesn't. She's made a
- 14:59Speaker 1: couple of ones, and she's expressed that as a mother,
- 15:03Speaker 1: forget the mayor, as a mother, she is concerned. She's
- 15:06Speaker 1: concerned because you know what, these barbershops and these hair slans,
- 15:09Speaker 1: hair salons, it's one of them on every block in
- 15:11Speaker 1: our communities. They are all over our communities. So I
- 15:16Speaker 1: do feel like it's an attack on us, because y'all
- 15:18Speaker 1: just announced a week and a half ago, two weeks ago,
- 15:21Speaker 1: that black people are dying far more than any other
- 15:24Speaker 1: race from the coronavirus. So now it's like, all right, cool,
- 15:29Speaker 1: let's go ahead and open these things up. Why are
- 15:31Speaker 1: not opening up no golf courses? But you know what,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I just hope that I know, I know our people
- 15:35Speaker 1: gonna black people are gonna be tempted to get their
- 15:37Speaker 1: nails in and everything. But I just pray, and I
- 15:40Speaker 1: just asked that that you guys withhold your money, with
- 15:43Speaker 1: hold the black dollars. I was gonna say, like, let's
- 15:46Speaker 1: let's make them feel us from when they open their doors,
- 15:49Speaker 1: because we can still make a change without spending a dollar.
- 15:53Speaker 1: We stay home and we stay put until otherwise. Even
- 15:56Speaker 1: Trump spoke out talking about he disagrees. He told Governor
- 16:00Speaker 1: Brian kimp that it was a bad idea and it
- 16:03Speaker 1: was too soon. I really feel like Trump threw him
- 16:05Speaker 1: under the bus. To be honest with y'all, I have
- 16:08Speaker 1: a theory on that. I think that Trump and Kemp
- 16:11Speaker 1: are cool and with each other. I believe I believe
- 16:14Speaker 1: that Trump did that on purpose. I believe that they
- 16:17Speaker 1: had a conversation. Anybody, I'm gonna have to throw you
- 16:20Speaker 1: under the bus, But I like what you're doing down
- 16:22Speaker 1: there telling you that. I believe that had they had
- 16:25Speaker 1: a conversation. So now Camp can't do nothing but just
- 16:29Speaker 1: hold his head up and look stupid. At the same time,
- 16:31Speaker 1: trust both of them, not at all. And it's a
- 16:34Speaker 1: couple of other black folks that don't trust the government either.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Speaking of Gilly the Kids, so everybody ROAR's helped me?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Like what is his rise to face? What do the
- 16:43Speaker 1: majority of people know him for? Initially, Gilly the Kid
- 16:48Speaker 1: was around cash money. He helped out, He helped them out.
- 16:51Speaker 1: He was a rapper, rappers from Philly, and initially he
- 16:55Speaker 1: was around cash money. Around the time he helped uh
- 16:58Speaker 1: you know with records, hey up, some ghostwriting songs, some
- 17:01Speaker 1: songs and hooks for Little Wayne. But he always was,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you know, in the streets and just you know that
- 17:06Speaker 1: just that guy on the block that just always had dope,
- 17:08Speaker 1: words of wisdom, insight, funny hood, funny um. And then
- 17:13Speaker 1: you know, once Instagram came out, he just started taking
- 17:16Speaker 1: that to his Instagram, so you know, he had He
- 17:18Speaker 1: always has a word of the day, He always has
- 17:21Speaker 1: gives advice of people who d m him. He gives
- 17:25Speaker 1: life advice, but he kind of you know, he's very
- 17:28Speaker 1: urban with it. And uh yeah. So you know, when
- 17:31Speaker 1: Governor Kempt said something, I just didn't appreciate the way
- 17:34Speaker 1: that he said Atlanta. It kind of gives me a
- 17:38Speaker 1: vibe of how maybe sometimes people view us as a
- 17:42Speaker 1: city and sometimes when they think about Georgia, they don't
- 17:46Speaker 1: ever think about Making or Valdosto or Columbus or whatever
- 17:52Speaker 1: or Augusta. They think about Atlanta. So whatever however they
- 17:57Speaker 1: view Georgia, they view Atlanta. And when you view Atlanta,
- 18:01Speaker 1: you've you view back black people. So here he is
- 18:05Speaker 1: saying Atlanta, Atlanta, Atlanta, and I feel like he just
- 18:09Speaker 1: kind of went Atlanta crazy. Instead of Governor Camp, Governor
- 18:13Speaker 1: Camp covering the camp. I think he could have aimed
- 18:15Speaker 1: his focus on that particular thing. But hey, who am
- 18:19Speaker 1: I Well, I'm sure we've got some listeners that don't
- 18:21Speaker 1: know what we're talking about. So y'all listen to what
- 18:23Speaker 1: Gilly the kids said, and we'll come back and talk
- 18:25Speaker 1: about it some months. What the funk They opened in Atlanta?
- 18:28Speaker 1: The funk up first, the blackest city in America. You
- 18:31Speaker 1: niggas don't see the motherfucking blitz going down. Oh maha,
- 18:36Speaker 1: oh mahas fifty names to mic Yo, don't see the
- 18:41Speaker 1: fucking blitz schooling down. They open up the blackest motherfucking
- 18:46Speaker 1: city in America first, So let them niggas run out.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Did they do the test run? Let them niggas go
- 18:51Speaker 1: here and run, y'all fucking guinea pigs in Atlanta, y'all,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I'm too fucking happy. Can't wait to be at the
- 18:56Speaker 1: motherfucking day party. Do this thinking, Land, you bit just
- 19:00Speaker 1: be at the death party at night? Nicks. Can't wait
- 19:04Speaker 1: to be at at motherfucking day party. Order enough to
- 19:06Speaker 1: grow me. Get the coronavirus specials, Yeah, we get two
- 19:10Speaker 1: of them straight, not on no changes. I want the
- 19:13Speaker 1: coronavirus straight, no motherfucker Eve Niggas is crazy, man. Why
- 19:17Speaker 1: the Funky ain't open? You talk? Look why they ain't
- 19:20Speaker 1: open Montana up? Ain't shipped out there but snow and
- 19:23Speaker 1: fucking cows? And why the fun did ain't open? That
- 19:25Speaker 1: shipped up? But they opened up? So or you are right.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He was definitely saying Atlanta a lot. But it goes
- 19:32Speaker 1: back to say, like, don't yeah, like when people think
- 19:35Speaker 1: about Georgia, they definitely think about Atlanta. And I get it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: We love that y'all think about us because we lit
- 19:40Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, So we appreciate that. But
- 19:43Speaker 1: there's nobody in the streets over here trying to get out.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Ain't nobody protesting over here? We are fine. I have
- 19:51Speaker 1: not seen Maybe it's just my circle of people, but
- 19:54Speaker 1: I don't. I haven't been around anybody that's been pressed
- 19:56Speaker 1: to go outside. I got a couple of my homeboys
- 19:59Speaker 1: that's pressed to go outside. But that's a whole another issue.
- 20:02Speaker 1: We are chilling. I'm not gonna say that there aren't
- 20:05Speaker 1: some people that do want to go out there, But
- 20:07Speaker 1: the way that he was saying that, I think he
- 20:09Speaker 1: was really just trying to be relatable and he was
- 20:10Speaker 1: talking to very specific people, you know, he was talking
- 20:14Speaker 1: to everybody. Yeah, and it just made me mad. It
- 20:17Speaker 1: kind of. I'm not necessarily mad at him, I just
- 20:19Speaker 1: kind of I just didn't like how you just grouped
- 20:22Speaker 1: Atlanta into it. Just kind of wack. But go ahead
- 20:25Speaker 1: to Yeah, I mean he was talking to the silly
- 20:27Speaker 1: niggas like we we know that for sure. But the
- 20:30Speaker 1: self proclaimed mayor of Atlanta, Jermaine Duprian, Yeah, he. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: liked his message because it made sense, you know what
- 20:39Speaker 1: I'm saying. It was sensible, it was relatable. Um, I
- 20:42Speaker 1: don't think that it was heartfelt. Um. And he's a
- 20:45Speaker 1: self proclaimed mayor of Atlanta, so of course he was
- 20:47Speaker 1: gonna come out and give us a different tone. Listen
- 20:50Speaker 1: to what j D said, if you do have to
- 20:52Speaker 1: go out and get a haircut, we all need haircuts.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I mean listen. What I want you to understand is
- 20:57Speaker 1: they're expecting us to die, and that don't have to
- 21:01Speaker 1: be like that. We don't have to go that way,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and we can we can change this. Yes, if places
- 21:05Speaker 1: are open, let him o. Yes, j D. Thank you
- 21:09Speaker 1: j D. That was a real salute on that one.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I liked how he prefaced his comments. I like how
- 21:14Speaker 1: he said. Look, I'm not gonna try to speak it professionally.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna speak it to a way to my people
- 21:20Speaker 1: so they can understand what the hell I'm talking about.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, we appreciate that man, because we needed
- 21:27Speaker 1: to hear it said in that way. I'm not mad
- 21:30Speaker 1: at Guilly, but how is it Gilly. I'm not mad
- 21:32Speaker 1: at Gilly, but how he said it, like I think
- 21:34Speaker 1: we expect him to talk like that, like that is
- 21:37Speaker 1: It's cool. I just didn't like how he said. You know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: he just kept saying that land. I'm overhead, like, dude, Georgia,
- 21:41Speaker 1: bro Georgia, because you know, Alby got the big one
- 21:45Speaker 1: of the biggest breakouts in the nation where the god Like, seriously,
- 21:49Speaker 1: it's not Atlanta, y'all. So people, you go ahead and
- 21:52Speaker 1: open up those other states that were protesting in Minnesota,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you tah, whoever the hell it was like opening up.
- 21:58Speaker 1: You gotta update y'all what Bronx rapper Fred the Godson
- 22:04Speaker 1: the Gods soon passes away from coronavirus. I don't know
- 22:08Speaker 1: if y'all know. Like he was from New York and
- 22:11Speaker 1: everybody was posting them like man, get better, get better,
- 22:14Speaker 1: get better. Hope you get through this. He passed away
- 22:16Speaker 1: from coronavirus. I hope this makes people understand now, like,
- 22:22Speaker 1: come on, bro, yeah, this is serious. Bro. You can
- 22:27Speaker 1: believe that the government is fabricating and you know, but
- 22:30Speaker 1: you also have to believe that two things can really
- 22:32Speaker 1: happen at the same time. Do I believe the government
- 22:35Speaker 1: is fabricating? Yes, I do believe that. But do I
- 22:38Speaker 1: also believe that people are still actually dying from coronavirus? Yes?
- 22:41Speaker 1: I do. I do, and it's unfortunate. Rest in peace
- 22:44Speaker 1: to him, Lord Hammer as soon How old was he rory?
- 22:48Speaker 1: I don't know, but I cursed that one of my
- 22:51Speaker 1: friends yesterday he put he posted on Instagram. He took
- 22:54Speaker 1: it down. He put on his instant story and said,
- 22:56Speaker 1: if it's meant for me to die from COVID nineteen,
- 22:59Speaker 1: take me to the king. I'm outside. Mm hmm. Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: you guys are stupid. You see, it's funny until it's not.
- 23:06Speaker 1: It's nia exactly, thank you. It's funny until it's not
- 23:09Speaker 1: funny having fun fun with this and all that. It's
- 23:12Speaker 1: funny until it's not until it's in your backyard. In fact,
- 23:15Speaker 1: My uncle died last week and we can't even have
- 23:18Speaker 1: a funeral because he didn't die from COVID, but he
- 23:21Speaker 1: died and we can't even have a funeral because of
- 23:23Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. Isn't that what Christianity taught us? Though? You know,
- 23:28Speaker 1: if it's your time, it's your time. Isn't that? But
- 23:31Speaker 1: you know what faith with that works is dead? And
- 23:33Speaker 1: then if you have instructions on what to do and
- 23:35Speaker 1: you don't take the instructions on what God is giving you,
- 23:39Speaker 1: then you can't blame nobody but yourself. Who. Okay, Well,
- 23:42Speaker 1: that being said, I think it's time for a break. Yes, sir,
- 23:45Speaker 1: my guy, Dallas Martin, the senior vice president of Atlantic Records,
- 23:49Speaker 1: is going to be speaking to us. We're gonna talk
- 23:50Speaker 1: to him about what is he doing during this pandemic
- 23:53Speaker 1: and how is he quarantining with being an A and
- 23:56Speaker 1: R and managing an RS and managing his artists on
- 23:58Speaker 1: his life. You're listening to all the show, alright, cool man,
- 24:06Speaker 1: we got our super friend, Dallas Martin is the senior
- 24:11Speaker 1: vice president A and R Atlantic Records, has it. Yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 1: we're just trying to see what's going on with you
- 24:16Speaker 1: during this quarantine because we've been seeing We've been hearing
- 24:19Speaker 1: from rappers, we've been hearing from promoters and people in media,
- 24:23Speaker 1: but we've never heard from a record executive like yourself, Like,
- 24:27Speaker 1: what are you doing during the quarantine? What I'm doing
- 24:30Speaker 1: during the quarantine. I'm trying to make sure that, you know,
- 24:33Speaker 1: all my artists have equipment at their houses so they
- 24:36Speaker 1: could recod so they could be in a creative space. Um,
- 24:40Speaker 1: and just trying to like, you know, just maintain a
- 24:44Speaker 1: good balance between you know, um, not being so bumped
- 24:48Speaker 1: out because we can't go nowhere, and still burning and
- 24:50Speaker 1: working hard. You feel me. That's definitely something I'm wondering
- 24:53Speaker 1: because you mentioned like making sure that your artists have
- 24:56Speaker 1: the right equipment so they can continue recording. But from
- 25:00Speaker 1: my understanding, artists need to experience different things, be able
- 25:04Speaker 1: to move around so that they can be in a
- 25:07Speaker 1: creative space. So how do you keep the momentum going
- 25:10Speaker 1: while everybody's on lockdown? But but before that, can I
- 25:14Speaker 1: can I know who the artists are? Yeah, you need
- 25:17Speaker 1: introduce me the right way. What's going on? I'm sorry,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you know what. Let's let's go down to resume. Let's
- 25:22Speaker 1: go down to resume. I've known Dallas for a long time.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Let's rewind when I first met Dallas where you still
- 25:30Speaker 1: let Were you at Atlantic then Dallas? Yeah, I've been
- 25:32Speaker 1: Atlantic the whole I was that Warner Brothers but it
- 25:34Speaker 1: turned into Atlantic, but it was the same company. And
- 25:36Speaker 1: I saw you had Wi and Meek mill Yeah. So
- 25:40Speaker 1: so my first claim to fame pretty much was that
- 25:43Speaker 1: I signed m mg um when I was coming up
- 25:46Speaker 1: as a new an R and so UM did A
- 25:49Speaker 1: and R for I did A and R for Meek
- 25:51Speaker 1: Mill Um, I did Mario is supposed to be record Um.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I worked with all his artists and I signed him.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I signed him Kame Michell, and I signed Nipsey Hustle. Um.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Now I just signed Roddy Rich And now I have
- 26:06Speaker 1: a new artist that I'm so excited about. His name
- 26:08Speaker 1: Simba Super and Corday has blessed me the opportunity to
- 26:12Speaker 1: work with him um on his new music, which is
- 26:15Speaker 1: incredible because he's one of my favorite artists. Okay, so
- 26:19Speaker 1: now we can go back to sue solo questions go ahead.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So well, actually going back to the artist that you mentioned,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I actually went on your Instagram and I felt like
- 26:30Speaker 1: you had a really good balance of showing you know,
- 26:33Speaker 1: the artists, like the music side, and then also the
- 26:36Speaker 1: family side with your wife and your kids. It's a
- 26:39Speaker 1: perfect balance. But I didn't want to know, like it
- 26:42Speaker 1: seemed like you were heavily involved with Meek Mills projects.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So what do you feel about like the transition between
- 26:51Speaker 1: me then and me now? I mean when you say transition,
- 26:55Speaker 1: what you mean you feel like we just got more popping.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I definitely feel like it's not that that is more popping.
- 27:04Speaker 1: I just feel like his growth, like you know, with
- 27:06Speaker 1: prison reform and like how he has completely kind of changed,
- 27:11Speaker 1: like will not changed, but he's added on to the
- 27:14Speaker 1: message that he that he's delivering, Like he's become so
- 27:17Speaker 1: much more like hands on with justin reform and all
- 27:20Speaker 1: that stuff. So I just feel like it has elevated
- 27:24Speaker 1: him in a sense, like he's always been popping, but
- 27:27Speaker 1: this definitely brought him in the face of different people
- 27:31Speaker 1: who who may not have necessarily seen him in that
- 27:34Speaker 1: light before. Well one thing about him, man, I'm just
- 27:36Speaker 1: really just proud about his growth and his evolution through
- 27:40Speaker 1: the music. But I always knew it was going to
- 27:43Speaker 1: be a super big star because he just always had
- 27:46Speaker 1: that kind of energy coming into the game, and he
- 27:49Speaker 1: had a couple of, um, you know things that happened
- 27:51Speaker 1: that kind of backtracked his journey. But at the end
- 27:55Speaker 1: of the day, like we all knew the people around him,
- 27:59Speaker 1: his hunger, had energy, his attitude, his um, you know,
- 28:03Speaker 1: his brand. You know what I'm saying is something that
- 28:06Speaker 1: people can't really take from take from him. So, you know,
- 28:10Speaker 1: him going to jail on some bullshit charges, I think
- 28:13Speaker 1: open up um sides of a lot of people. And
- 28:17Speaker 1: the fact that he came out that trying to help
- 28:19Speaker 1: everybody else who had the same kind of struggle. You know,
- 28:22Speaker 1: it's really commendable man. So I'm just really proud of
- 28:25Speaker 1: him just what he's doing, um with his power. But um,
- 28:29Speaker 1: as far as the music, he's always been a beast.
- 28:32Speaker 1: He had a couple of stepbacks, but at the end
- 28:35Speaker 1: of the day, like you can't hold back artists with substance,
- 28:38Speaker 1: and that's just that's the true says in the issues
- 28:41Speaker 1: he had with Drake. But I think I think I
- 28:44Speaker 1: think setbacks could be jail. I think setbacks could be beef.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I think setbacks could be anything that deterrogate you from
- 28:51Speaker 1: what you got going on. Okay, UM, my question would
- 28:54Speaker 1: be is, um, I know you had Nipsey hustle, and UM,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I'll living it of course. Um, how was that like
- 29:01Speaker 1: being in the studio because you were actually really active
- 29:03Speaker 1: with him. That's actually, I'm a fun fact. That's actually
- 29:06Speaker 1: how I started taking Nipsey like really serious because I
- 29:10Speaker 1: saw that, you know, I kind of and back in
- 29:13Speaker 1: dating back till when I first moved to Atlanta, I
- 29:15Speaker 1: saw who you were and what you had going on,
- 29:17Speaker 1: because I was just figuring out who was who. But
- 29:20Speaker 1: when I saw that you took him on, I was like, wow,
- 29:22Speaker 1: this is a big deal. Let me start listening to
- 29:24Speaker 1: Nipsey a lot more. So I started paying more attention
- 29:27Speaker 1: to Nipsey when you started taking him on. And how
- 29:31Speaker 1: was that process like with him? Well? What was double
- 29:33Speaker 1: about Nipsey Man? NFC has always been, um, somebody that's
- 29:37Speaker 1: super about character and integrity. So we just really just
- 29:41Speaker 1: um kind of like built a relationship. Because when I
- 29:44Speaker 1: came out here to l A, my main goal is
- 29:47Speaker 1: like I want to work with somebody go from the
- 29:48Speaker 1: West Coast because I want to you know, I want
- 29:50Speaker 1: to embrace the city I'm living in and I'm just
- 29:53Speaker 1: a big fan of the music and NFC was one
- 29:56Speaker 1: of those artists that I really fussed with and he
- 29:58Speaker 1: already kind of, um, you know, started process in his
- 30:01Speaker 1: music career, but I know he didn't want to sign
- 30:03Speaker 1: with a major song like damn like Michael getting Nipsey
- 30:06Speaker 1: to sign with a major And we do a dope
- 30:07Speaker 1: as still which she could be legendary. And you know,
- 30:11Speaker 1: it took a lot of time we built a relationship,
- 30:13Speaker 1: but we built a friendship and it just got to
- 30:16Speaker 1: the point where, you know, we decided to get into
- 30:19Speaker 1: business with each other and and it was just a
- 30:22Speaker 1: blessing man, because I think it was one of the
- 30:24Speaker 1: dopest niggas I ever met in my life, you know
- 30:26Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So my my next question is what
- 30:28Speaker 1: is the day in the life of a senior vice president?
- 30:31Speaker 1: First of all, what is the senior vice president of
- 30:34Speaker 1: a record label? Dude? I was just about to ask that.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So what it basically is when the music doesn't you
- 30:39Speaker 1: have departments? Right, you have publicity, you have marketing, you
- 30:44Speaker 1: have A and R. You have artists development with just
- 30:48Speaker 1: touring and shows and things like that. Um, you have UM.
- 30:54Speaker 1: You have UM Artists Administration, which handles like the business
- 30:58Speaker 1: with the A and R BA basically the biggest department
- 31:01Speaker 1: because you can't have a music label without music. So
- 31:07Speaker 1: when you first come on to a R label to
- 31:10Speaker 1: major label, they usually put you at director, then senior director,
- 31:15Speaker 1: which are lower in our spots with you're building up.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Then you become VP right of the department. Then you
- 31:22Speaker 1: become senior VP and senior VP just basically one step
- 31:25Speaker 1: for me and president of either the department or the
- 31:28Speaker 1: whole company because A and R, because A and R
- 31:31Speaker 1: is the biggest department in the company. But what was
- 31:34Speaker 1: your advice be for the young artists right now who
- 31:37Speaker 1: you know, I feel like this is their time. They're
- 31:40Speaker 1: creating right now in the house, they're putting their stuff
- 31:42Speaker 1: on SoundCloud. You know, they're trying to get on, trying
- 31:45Speaker 1: to get theirselves set up. So when the quarantine is over,
- 31:47Speaker 1: you know they'll have some action from like the masses.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I would say, be original, be be relentless, UM, and
- 31:58Speaker 1: just you really gotta a fade everybody out and just
- 32:01Speaker 1: do what you know in your heart that is authentic
- 32:04Speaker 1: to you and just really changed your dream. I mean
- 32:07Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you can't listen, go ahead.
- 32:10Speaker 1: How could they get to you? How could they get
- 32:12Speaker 1: your your attention? VP Man, they just got to him
- 32:16Speaker 1: and for new record in Atlanta, and I'm gonna be like,
- 32:20Speaker 1: let's get it. Because he always called me. He always
- 32:22Speaker 1: called me and asked me who's who or not? Yeah,
- 32:26Speaker 1: that's true. I was like, what's going on out here? Yeah?
- 32:29Speaker 1: But you know I got I got to a certain point,
- 32:30Speaker 1: I got staff, I got Nigga and touched the ground
- 32:32Speaker 1: a little. But you know, I think I put in
- 32:34Speaker 1: my working up to kind of sit back and just right.
- 32:41Speaker 1: It is like a yeah status for real, for real,
- 32:47Speaker 1: and you know I put him work to do. I've
- 32:48Speaker 1: been doing this over fucking should I was in turning
- 32:52Speaker 1: um over ten years ago for two years for free
- 32:54Speaker 1: and ain't like I just got into the game last
- 32:57Speaker 1: year and talking like this. But and that's what I
- 32:58Speaker 1: was gonna ask you about your ory. How did you
- 33:00Speaker 1: get into it? Um? I went to Clark. My main
- 33:03Speaker 1: goal from coming from Flating Michigan was to get into music.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I went to Clark because it was in Atlanta, and
- 33:08Speaker 1: I know Atlanta was fucking on fire, and my goal
- 33:12Speaker 1: is to get an internship. Finally got an internship and
- 33:15Speaker 1: made the best of it and I'm here today. Be
- 33:17Speaker 1: where'd you get an internship at um Deaf? Yeah, under
- 33:20Speaker 1: Shakira story, he's signed Rick Ross and Young Jesus. So
- 33:26Speaker 1: the dope story about that is his best friend with
- 33:29Speaker 1: Nicole Johnson, front of Three Brown Girls, and she was
- 33:33Speaker 1: married at v Johnson and Nicole had a little sister
- 33:36Speaker 1: that went to Clark and that was basically like shape
- 33:39Speaker 1: god daughter, niece, all that wrapped in one and she
- 33:43Speaker 1: was just like he was like, yo, who's who's on
- 33:44Speaker 1: campus making noise? And uh she um used to come
- 33:48Speaker 1: to my parties and I used to talk to a
- 33:49Speaker 1: lot about my ambition of getting some music business and
- 33:53Speaker 1: she just took me to him. So you threw parties
- 33:56Speaker 1: and that's how you linked with her, and then she
- 33:58Speaker 1: was able to link you with her people. Yeah, my
- 34:00Speaker 1: main goal in college was like to create a name
- 34:04Speaker 1: of brand, established something that people just kind of like
- 34:07Speaker 1: was working with so I could break into music because
- 34:10Speaker 1: I was still managing like producers, but I didn't know
- 34:13Speaker 1: what the funk I was doing having relationships, but I
- 34:16Speaker 1: was like I was focused on it. You know what
- 34:19Speaker 1: I'm saying. So when I got my opportunity and when
- 34:21Speaker 1: I got my opportunity to be in front of it,
- 34:22Speaker 1: think that's a buss like shape. I had the right
- 34:25Speaker 1: things to say, and he knew, he knew that I
- 34:28Speaker 1: had the you know, I was focused me. You know,
- 34:30Speaker 1: I had a vision and look at you now, man, congratulations,
- 34:33Speaker 1: Thank you so much. That means a lot to me
- 34:35Speaker 1: for for well, thank you for coming to the ball
- 34:37Speaker 1: of the show. So man, y'all, I really appreciate job
- 34:40Speaker 1: for having me super humble. Um, you know whatever y'all need. Man,
- 34:45Speaker 1: Thank y'all, it's been real to us. Well. I appreciate you.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Glad you are keeping healthy, sane and safe and still
- 34:53Speaker 1: making money. It sounds like during the quarantine. Hopefully it
- 34:56Speaker 1: keep on like that. But you know, blessing to everybody
- 34:59Speaker 1: that's going out times right now. I know it's crazy
- 35:01Speaker 1: right now. Our economy is in a bad space, but
- 35:04Speaker 1: you know, blessing M say everybody trying to get some
- 35:06Speaker 1: money right now for show for shure. Thank you brother,
- 35:15Speaker 1: that's it. Dear Rory. I've been dating my boyfriend for
- 35:19Speaker 1: four years, but we broke up. I've cheated, I cheated
- 35:24Speaker 1: because he neglected me by not showing me enough attention. Well,
- 35:28Speaker 1: now he's my ex. I've moved on as of two
- 35:31Speaker 1: weeks ago, and my new guy is a little intimidated
- 35:34Speaker 1: by my current living arrangements. Me and my ex still
- 35:38Speaker 1: live together. But before you guys judge me, we haven't
- 35:41Speaker 1: been speaking at all and we aren't around each other.
- 35:45Speaker 1: We are just roommates. But I'm thinking this will be
- 35:48Speaker 1: an issue in any such in any situation I'm in,
- 35:51Speaker 1: which means I can't date someone because it creates issues
- 35:55Speaker 1: until I move out. But we just renewed our lease
- 35:58Speaker 1: last month and it's stay home because of COVID nineteen,
- 36:04Speaker 1: So I really can't leave. What the hell do I do?
- 36:07Speaker 1: All right? That's funny, all right, So first of all,
- 36:15Speaker 1: two weeks later, you already have a new guy who's
- 36:18Speaker 1: concerned about your living arrangements. Like if I get out
- 36:22Speaker 1: of a serious relationship and I'm talking to somebody like
- 36:24Speaker 1: two weeks later, g don't even know what's side of
- 36:27Speaker 1: the town I live on yet. So you sound like
- 36:30Speaker 1: you need to slow down. Sound that she gave but
- 36:33Speaker 1: she gave up the box. She probably didn't give up
- 36:35Speaker 1: the box. Sorry, I don't know, but yeah, no, it's
- 36:40Speaker 1: definitely gonna be awkward. Says it's gonna be awkward. And
- 36:44Speaker 1: you can't move, right, I mean, you know what, You
- 36:46Speaker 1: can't move because I moved. I just moved again. No,
- 36:50Speaker 1: she can move what? I just stay home? Yeah, moved
- 36:55Speaker 1: your home, so I guess that makes sense my home.
- 36:57Speaker 1: So since if it's that bad moving home? But I
- 37:00Speaker 1: also know it's cheaper the keeper, so whatever? Got kids though? No,
- 37:05Speaker 1: no kids, I mean no job. What you think I say?
- 37:11Speaker 1: I say, slow down to sound like she's doing too
- 37:13Speaker 1: much already, baby, I think you are doing too much.
- 37:16Speaker 1: You cheated on your man because you weren't showing you
- 37:18Speaker 1: enough attention. And it seems like you let homeboy smashed
- 37:24Speaker 1: a little too early because he asked them way too
- 37:26Speaker 1: many questions about living arrangements before uh, y'all even get serious.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Two weeks come on, man, and but what the thing
- 37:36Speaker 1: is you you're talking to him about your living arrangement
- 37:40Speaker 1: within two weeks and it's a problem, so therefore you
- 37:43Speaker 1: need to eradicate that problem. I'm not gonna stay with
- 37:46Speaker 1: my ex. I can't. You can't stay with your ex.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure you're still walking around the house naked,
- 37:51Speaker 1: take a showers and all that crazy stuffies shower I mean,
- 37:56Speaker 1: but you know when you get out the shower, ladies y'all,
- 37:58Speaker 1: like you know, taking show. I wants staying clean or whatnot.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But he's your roommate. He he used to hit that,
- 38:05Speaker 1: so he's gonna no guy is gonna be cool with you.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Still still living with someone that used to hit that period,
- 38:12Speaker 1: so you know you're not going to be able to
- 38:14Speaker 1: have another relationship successfully happily. And you still live with
- 38:18Speaker 1: your ex who used to hit that. Especially I stayed
- 38:21Speaker 1: together four years. I was together four years. Man. Nope,
- 38:25Speaker 1: by bye bye. So what you're saying, like she she
- 38:28Speaker 1: just should not be dating or what? Do not date
- 38:31Speaker 1: until you move your grass up out of there, don't
- 38:33Speaker 1: get you your own place, or you can hold your
- 38:35Speaker 1: hold in peace, so you can so you can throw
- 38:44Speaker 1: the box on whoever you want throwing buster cherry open
- 38:48Speaker 1: fact down that that q D that quarantine day. Okay,
- 39:00Speaker 1: up and now it's time for comment, creeping creep. All right, y'all,
- 39:11Speaker 1: it's time for comment creeping. Now. Look, I know the
- 39:14Speaker 1: times are hard. We are at home in quarantine. It's
- 39:17Speaker 1: been boring. Alright, ladies, you're tired of using your vibrators
- 39:20Speaker 1: and all your cards. I just time, okay, but just
- 39:23Speaker 1: hang on a little hang on a little longer, says,
- 39:27Speaker 1: because we're not trying to deal with these little babies
- 39:29Speaker 1: no more. In real life, we're not trying to deal
- 39:31Speaker 1: with these little babies. So the little baby actually hits
- 39:35Speaker 1: Twitter and says, if she can't get the Reyntalds and
- 39:38Speaker 1: spots in her name, she's no good. All right, Well
- 39:42Speaker 1: at Golden Lady Nail's peeped it, and she retweeted and said,
- 39:47Speaker 1: sound like a nigga with no credit. Look, we are
- 39:50Speaker 1: done messing with these boys. They cannot get the room
- 39:53Speaker 1: in their name. Okay, they can't buy nothing on credit cards.
- 39:58Speaker 1: They're sending us some money. We're done, okay, we school
- 40:01Speaker 1: time out, flag on the plate. Sometimes the baby tweets
- 40:06Speaker 1: lyrics from his songs, and sometimes he talks about stuff
- 40:09Speaker 1: that he did in the past. So I'm gonna give
- 40:11Speaker 1: him a pass on that, because what everybody knows and
- 40:15Speaker 1: believes that this man can get his own Reynolds, he
- 40:18Speaker 1: can get his own spots, he can get that. But
- 40:22Speaker 1: that was a time in his life when This was
- 40:24Speaker 1: a true statement. That was a time in his life
- 40:27Speaker 1: when whoever he was messing with it had had to
- 40:29Speaker 1: have a good credit score. She had to have a
- 40:31Speaker 1: credit card to job, know how to read well. In Atlanta,
- 40:36Speaker 1: we call that jig and okay, g g I n ladies,
- 40:43Speaker 1: bab okay, grow we did messing with these little boys.
- 40:46Speaker 1: No more, no little babies. Okay, grown man. Hey, Hey, hey, hey,
- 40:53Speaker 1: I see you engage. You got your stuff together. That's
- 40:55Speaker 1: my favorite rapper man. That's fine. I can't, I can't.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I can't let you talk about that new song inspired
- 41:02Speaker 1: with shot. How back in the day he used to
- 41:05Speaker 1: have to mess with the girls with good credit because
- 41:07Speaker 1: that's the wrong one. That's that's dub baby. Oh we
- 41:11Speaker 1: are talking about that? Oh shoot, I thought we was
- 41:19Speaker 1: talking about the baby the whole time. All right, y'all,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I'm so solo. That was common creeping. But before we
- 41:24Speaker 1: get out of here, we gotta leave you with some
- 41:26Speaker 1: words to feed your soul. Uh Yeah. Salute to all
- 41:30Speaker 1: the front line workers, the first responders, the grocery stores,
- 41:32Speaker 1: the truck drivers, and anyone that is working to keep
- 41:35Speaker 1: us safe during this pending. That's true. And you know
- 41:38Speaker 1: what I just want to leave y'all with so wise
- 41:41Speaker 1: words from the Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha lands Bottom. So
- 41:44Speaker 1: what I've been asking people to do is to exercise
- 41:47Speaker 1: common sense. You don't have to listen to me if
- 41:50Speaker 1: you don't believe the governor, don't believe the president. But
- 41:52Speaker 1: listen to the scientists, Listen to the healthcare professionals who
- 41:56Speaker 1: are saying, we are exhausted, we are dying. Ask keepsha girl,
- 42:00Speaker 1: you're right, and I'm gonna stay my black ass at home.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Facts and Carol Baskins killed her husband. Hey are you cool?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Cats and kittens? Whatever they said she did, she did
- 42:09Speaker 1: that ship by father Larne, because the dreams for you
