- 0:12Don't just falls. Your shadows crawl, search
- 0:15through on me. I hear you draw then upon your
- 0:24son. You spin it, stare.
- 0:26You're poisoned. Words, the atmosphere change of
- 0:31rage finding tight dearly Chloe, no more light.
- 0:38I hate you too down. I hate you too.
- 0:44Down. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my
- 0:57name is Brett Keene from GOD TV Radio.
- 1:00I do live shows every Friday, 7:00 PM Central, and you're all
- 1:04welcome to participate on my show.
- 1:06Just bring a mic. Also, check out my free music
- 1:09albums. You can listen to them on
- 1:11YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music.
- 1:14Also, I'm going to put a link to my friend TTOR Truth, the
- 1:18objective reality where he absolutely annihilates and
- 1:21destroys the Drunken Peasants, or at least the remnants of it.
- 1:25What's left? Today I'm going to finish out my
- 1:28series. I did a Part 1.
- 1:30This is Part 2 of the end of the Drunken Peasants by talking to
- 1:39an artificial intelligence. Since people have a hard time
- 1:45actually agreeing with me on what I've talked about, I
- 1:49figured we'd just simply ask the most intelligent program known
- 1:53to man, created by Elon Musk, and see what he thinks.
- 1:57Or what the AI thinks at least. Let's turn on the audio and here
- 2:04we go. All right, AI, I want you to
- 2:11tell me, is the drunken peasant still popular?
- 2:15Have they lost their popularity? What is the problem?
- 2:20Why is it that they don't get the views or subscriptions that
- 2:23they do? Now, there's a lot of people out
- 2:26there that believe that they use bots, or at least Ben uses bots
- 2:30in order to give the appearance that his page is popular.
- 2:34But all engagement sections say that the channel's dying.
- 2:40So can you tell me what's up? Is that true?
- 2:53The Drunken Peasants podcast, known for its irreverent
- 2:56commentary on news, politics, and Internet culture,
- 2:59experienced a decline in popularity due to several
- 3:02factors. Based on available information
- 3:05and fan sentiment. Departure of key hosts.
- 3:09The most significant blow came in late 2017 when TJ Kirk,
- 3:13Scotty Kirk, and Paul Parkey junior Paul Ziego left the show
- 3:17due to creative differences. TJA prominent figure from the
- 3:22Amazing Atheist YouTube channel, was a major draw for the
- 3:26audience. Fans noted that the show lost
- 3:28its original energy and chemistry after their exit, with
- 3:32some describing it as feeling hollow and stale.
- 3:35Post split, the new lineup, primarily Ben and Billy the
- 3:39Fridge, struggled to maintain the same appeal, as evidenced by
- 3:43fan feedback on platforms like Reddit and Apple Podcasts.
- 3:47Shift in content and format After the 2017 split, fans
- 3:52criticized the show for deviating from its original
- 3:54format of sarcastic commentary on YouTube videos and loco
- 3:58figures like Brett Keene. Some felt the show leaned too
- 4:02heavily into weed related content or political
- 4:04discussions, alienating viewers who preferred the earlier
- 4:08balance of humor and critique. For instance, a Reddit post from
- 4:122016 highlighted dissatisfaction with excessive tangents and a
- 4:16lack of focus on video reactions, suggesting this issue
- 4:20predated but worsened after the split.
- 4:23Controversies and scandals. The podcast faced reputational
- 4:27damage from controversies, notably the 2016 episode
- 4:31featuring Milo Yiannopoulos, whose comments on age of consent
- 4:35laws led to widespread backlash, and his disinvitation from CAC.
- 4:39This incident tainted the show's image for some fans.
- 4:42Additionally, allegations against host Ben in 2021,
- 4:46including accusations of inappropriate behavior and
- 4:50emotional abuse, further eroded trust.
- 4:53These claims, detailed in a Reddit post, prompted some fans
- 4:57to distance themselves, with one user noting the show's burning
- 5:00ship status. Fanbase alienation.
- 5:04The show's humor, often crude and juvenile, polarized its
- 5:08audience. While some enjoyed the lowbrow
- 5:10entertainment, others found it repetitive or cringe inducing,
- 5:14especially as the hosts leaned into fart jokes and drama driven
- 5:18content. IMDb reviews reflect this
- 5:21divide, with some praising the comedic feuds and others
- 5:24slamming the unfunny, infantile humor.
- 5:28The departure of hosts like TJ and Paul, who were seen as more
- 5:32articulate, left the show reliant on less universally
- 5:35appealing personalities. YouTube algorithm and
- 5:39monetization issues The 2017 Adpocalypse and changes to
- 5:43YouTube's terms of service reportedly caused friction among
- 5:47the hosts, particularly between TJ and Ben, as they experimented
- 5:52with new monetization strategies that fans disliked.
- 5:55This likely impacted the show's visibility and financial
- 5:59stability, contributing to its decline.
- 6:02Natural audience fatigue with episodes running two to three
- 6:05hours and over 1000 produced by 2023, some fans experienced
- 6:10archive panic due to the sheer volume of content.
- 6:14The show's reliance on reacting to the same Internet
- 6:16personalities, EG Brett Keene, also led to repetitive segments,
- 6:21which even TJ and Paul admitted grew tiresome, reducing the
- 6:25show's freshness. In summary, the Drunken Peasants
- 6:29decline stemmed from the loss of key hosts, shifts in content
- 6:32that alienated fans, controversies surrounding guests
- 6:36and hosts, and external pressures like YouTube's
- 6:39monetization changes. Fan sentiment on platforms like
- 6:43Reddit and IMDb suggests the show never fully recovered from
- 6:46the 2017 split, with many longing for the classic DP era.
- 6:52One post, 25 web pages. Well, there you go, ladies and
- 7:00gentlemen, everything that I have said is true.
- 7:03This is what artificial intelligence on the Internet
- 7:07believes. This is what Grok has said.
- 7:09This is Reddit. This is any AI that you use.
- 7:12You can use Copilot and it will all say the same thing.
- 7:16Now, to be fair, ladies and gentlemen, if you were to type
- 7:19in Brett Keene through AI, it's going to say some negative
- 7:22things about me, but it's going to base it on the sources of
- 7:26Drunken Peasants and no other websites.
- 7:28Christians do not have websites attacking me.
- 7:31Muslims, pagans, Jews, and people of all different faiths.
- 7:35In fact, there's very encouraging, supportive websites
- 7:38done about me. The only group out there is a
- 7:41dying podcast called The Drunken Peasants.
- 7:45So there you go, you heard it from the artificial intelligence
- 7:50itself. And you can't make the thing
- 7:52lie. I can't go into break into Elon
- 7:55Musk's computers and make the AI say something totally different.
- 8:00And besides, even if you don't believe me and you don't believe
- 8:03that was the AI, simply go over to X social media.
- 8:07The link is in my description and click on the link that I put
- 8:11out there. When you talk to artificial
- 8:13intelligence, it gives you the ability to share the articles
- 8:18and the summaries and the engagement and all that.
- 8:21The AI says that the channel's dying, that it's lost all of its
- 8:26subscribers. Practically.
- 8:28Think about it. Ben continues to beat his chest
- 8:32like a delusional ape saying well if we're not popular then
- 8:37why do we have 100,000 subscribers?
- 8:40Most of those subscribers no longer exist.
- 8:44Most of those people are either dead or they're gone, or they're
- 8:47off watching something else. How can you tell?
- 8:50To simply look at the views on the videos.
- 8:52Since 2017 they've been going down.
- 8:57Why? And I've said this before, the
- 9:00Amazing Atheist is the original reason that brought a lot of
- 9:05exposure and excitement. The Amazing Atheist at the time
- 9:09was extremely popular. He himself is being challenged
- 9:14too though. Deep fat fried, according to
- 9:17artificial intelligence is also dying.
- 9:20Sucks. It's not because the Amazing
- 9:24Atheist lost his talent OR something, but he did lose his
- 9:28edge. When people watch these atheist
- 9:32podcast it's ironic but they say they simply have no soul and
- 9:38that's the fact. It's true.
- 9:42Ben did not have what it took to carry a podcast like that.
- 9:47The subscribers came from the Amazing Atheist.
- 9:50Paul's ego had roughly around just a little under 10,000
- 9:55subscribers at the time, and Paul's ego has had a lot of
- 10:00personal issues in his life and he went on to try to do his own
- 10:03thing. It didn't work out whether he's
- 10:06on Deep Fat Fried or that to get off of Ben's ass for a little
- 10:10bit and stop talking about the inevitable decline and
- 10:14destruction of drunken peasants. Let me explain to you one of the
- 10:18reasons why The Amazing Atheist is having a problem.
- 10:21He's not going to take my advice.
- 10:23He's going to continue to drive his podcast into the fucking
- 10:26dirt as well, but it's mostly because of Paul's ego.
- 10:31I'm not trying to be hateful, ladies and gentlemen, but
- 10:34there's a lot of articles out there about how Paul's eagle
- 10:37interrupts people when they're talking, how he's too long
- 10:40winded, and he goes on these fucking tangents.
- 10:43Also, it was funny for people at first when he did Impressions of
- 10:47me, Brett King. But according to AI, people
- 10:52became bored. The same fucking formula over
- 10:55and over and over again. That's one of the reasons why TJ
- 10:59Kurt, the Amazing Atheist, thought I got to do something
- 11:03different. There's got to be a creative
- 11:05change to all this. We got to lay off Brett Keene.
- 11:09We got to lay off some of these people that we've targeted and
- 11:13harassed on a daily basis. He realized that shit was not
- 11:17going anymore. There's just so much milk you
- 11:20can exploit out of a fucking cow before it dries, and that was
- 11:25that. Unfortunately, the Amazing
- 11:27Atheist, as he watched this channel burn into the ground and
- 11:31he's bleeding all kinds of money and subscribers and views, even
- 11:34on his main account, he decided I need a life preserver.
- 11:40I'm drowning. So he started bringing me back
- 11:43up, as did Paul. I understand what's going on
- 11:48here. Unfortunately, I don't have the
- 11:50weight and popularity that I used to either, so fucking
- 11:55targeting me every single day is not helping.
- 11:58It's actually killing them. They're hurting themselves and
- 12:01damaging themselves more than what they're doing anything to
- 12:04me. But they're too stupid to
- 12:06realize that people are bored of it.
- 12:10They don't want to hear it. They want something new.
- 12:14And unfortunately, this is like Spider Man in Star Wars.
- 12:18Once it became woke, once it became sterile, once it lost
- 12:25that raw, dirty energy that it used to have.
- 12:28It's like the franchise of Star Wars.
- 12:30It was good in the beginning, but it fucking decayed.
- 12:34It's dead. It's gone and no matter what
- 12:38Disney tries to do, they just can't bring back the magic.
- 12:42It's never going to happen. It all became a money grab
- 12:46instead of about what it was meant to be fun.
- 12:54All right, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed.
- 12:56This was Part 2 and this is the final segment of all this shit.
- 13:01I see really no fucking point to continue to respond back and
- 13:04forth with Ben. The only way I can see them
- 13:09getting any kind of somewhat good views.
- 13:13I'm not delusional ladies and gentlemen.
- 13:16I know today if Ben came to me and said here's $1000, come on
- 13:21the fucking show. Even if his very few supporters
- 13:25that he has and his Patreon connections were to send him the
- 13:29money to hire me to come on there.
- 13:32Even if I became a member of the Duncan Peasants, it's too deep
- 13:37in a grave now. There's no saving it.
- 13:41So for all those dreamers out there, all those people out
- 13:44there that go, Oh yeah, you should bring him on.
- 13:47And the people who keep on begging me, Brett, go on the
- 13:49show, blah, blah, blah. Unfortunately, I am self aware.
- 13:55I know that I it's been a long, long time since I was an atheist
- 14:01and a lot of people have passed. I'm no longer a household item.
- 14:06But neither is drunken peasants or deep fat fried, and neither
- 14:10is the Amazing Atheist. The Amazing Atheist has become
- 14:14an old man who simply doesn't have his edge anymore.
- 14:19He's not tough, he's not cool, he's not the cringe Lord and all
- 14:24that shed anymore. Our edge edge Lord is what they
- 14:29call it now. He's the cringe Lord.
- 14:30He was the edge Lord. It's over, the atheist community
- 14:35is not what it used to be, a lot of people who were once famous
- 14:40atheists have become Christian, and atheism is on the decline
- 14:44itself. It had its moment, it had its
- 14:48chance, and it fucking blew it. Sorry, this is the way it is.
- 14:55Facts don't lie and facts don't give a fuck about your feelings,
- 14:59am I right? Ben Shapiro.
- 15:01The End.
