  Hey there. Welcome back day 23 of our

  Christmas event series called unwrapping Christmas.

  Seeing the Nativity through Luke sighs written beautifully by my

  friend Sue bolt. So let's jump in a day. 23, I'll

  be reading Luke Chapter 2 verses 13 through 14. suddenly a great
• 0:21
  company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel praising
• 0:25
  God, and saying, glory to God, in the highest heaven and on
• 0:29
  Earth, peace to those on whom his favor rests day 23, I can
• 0:35
  only imagine the scene, an angel comes to the shepherd's, then
• 0:39
  the scroll of Heaven rolls back to reveal and in number of will
• 0:44
  host of heavenly beings, all proclaim, the same thing, one
• 0:49
  only God, Mighty is worthy to receive our worship and to our
• 0:54
  Heavenly Father is for us. And for all people, how many
• 0:58
  times does the enemy of our soul?

  Lied to us about these two truths.

  How often has the double or own selfishness, whispered to us
• 1:07
  that there are other things to Worship in this life, such as
• 1:11
  money, security, influence, relationships position or
• 1:15
  possessions. How many times have we chosen to
• 1:19
  believe the bad press of our W suddenly telling us that father
• 1:24
  is against us, that he really doesn't have our best interest
• 1:27
  at heart or that he's holding out on us.
• 1:31
  I mean think about how these two Avenues of thinking are the
• 1:34
  direct antithesis of the Angels Proclamation?
• 1:39
  Our God is the only one and only to be worshipped and to live for
• 1:44
  and our God is for us with us on our side and desires that his
• 1:49
  goodness and peace. Lavishly pour through our lives.
• 1:53
  Not to get political here. But have we stymied the Angels
• 1:57
  Proclamation by being against the world who has lost like we
• 2:02
  once were more than the proclaiming God's goodness to
• 2:05
  reach everyone everywhere. No matter what, just some food
• 2:09
  for thought, we first must believe these truths deeply for
• 2:14
  ourselves until that happens. Those who don't yet know the
• 2:18
  Lord will never want what we have.
• 2:20
  Why would they these words? May require some deep
• 2:23
  soul-searching healing and a broader release of the Holy
• 2:27
  Spirit within us then. And only then can we be like the
• 2:31
  Shepherds who couldn't keep quiet about the love of God for
• 2:35
  a weary world and with the shepherd's we will glorify God
• 2:39
  with great joy and Shout about his love and Goodwill from the
• 2:43
  rooftops. And here are a couple questions
• 2:47
  to ponder on what are some worship words?
• 2:49
  Or As has that come immediately into your heart to glorify God.
• 2:55
  And how does this devotional speak to you personally?

  Lord, thank you for you are. Worthy of all our worship, let
• 3:04
  us rest in your joyous words of life.
• 3:07
  You who bring us peace on Earth and goodness that follows.

  Our days ahead, we thank you in Jesus name.

  right where you are. Dear, heavenly father, I come to

  you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, in John 6:37.

  All those the father gives me will come to me and whoever

  comes to me, I will never drive away, so I know that you will

  never drive or cast me out, but you take me in and I thank you
• 3:50
  for For it. You saying your word in Romans,
• 3:53
  10:13, whoever calls, upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  I'm calling on your name, so I know you have saved me now.

  You also say God in Romans 10:9 through 10, if you declare with
• 4:11
  your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart, that God
• 4:16
  raised him from the dead, you will be saved for it is with
• 4:20
  your heart that you believe and are Justified and it is with
• 4:24
  your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

  I believe in my heart. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
• 4:35
  I believe that he was raised from the dead for my
• 4:39
  justification. And I confess him now as my Lord
• 4:45
  and I do believe with my heart. And I've now become the
• 4:50
  righteousness of God in Christ, and I am saved.
