- 0:00laced up let's go it's time for banter with the
- 0:04boys welcome back to banter with the boys fast
- 0:16laps a show in which i may owe lance stroll an
- 0:21apology i don't know but anyway mike thanks for
- 0:26being back here this week brother what's up I
- 0:28always go to Joe first. You're throwing a wrench
- 0:31in my plans here. You're catching me so off guard.
- 0:33I'm great. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to
- 0:34talk about F1. What plans did you have? Were
- 0:37you going to beat up Joe? Joe's on his phone.
- 0:39He no longer cares about the pod. We didn't need
- 0:41him anyway. Joe, what's going on, brother? My
- 0:46mom's going to come pick me up. You guys are
- 0:50being mean to me. Mom, come pick me up. I'm scared.
- 0:52Dang, that was nice. That was such a crazy...
- 0:55Before we started recording, the energy is already
- 0:57wild in this room. It's unnecessary. I mean,
- 1:02it's worth talking about. So I'm looking forward
- 1:04to talking about that, among other things, from
- 1:06the previous Chinese Grand Prix and looking forward
- 1:10to Japan. I love Japan. Very much looking forward
- 1:12to Japan. Maybe a certain Japanese driver on
- 1:17a different team for that. Same team but different?
- 1:20I don't know. Anyway, Kev also behind the scenes
- 1:24getting everything done. Just heads up right
- 1:27now, we do not have a show next week because
- 1:30Japanese GP is not this weekend but the following.
- 1:33So next week we are actually going to be testing
- 1:37some other things for the show to enhance your...
- 1:40Listening and watching, viewing. We are a podcast.
- 1:44Is that what we're doing? Technically, the test
- 1:46is just viewing. No, there is an audio test involved.
- 1:51You're right. There is an audio test involved.
- 1:52We are going to bring something different. Anyway,
- 1:54that's next week. So anyway, the week after that,
- 1:57which is right after the Japanese GP, which you're
- 2:00used to hearing from us, right after the GPs,
- 2:02we will be back to talk about Yuki Tsunoda winning
- 2:05in Japan. I mean, I saw in a Red Bull. I wish.
- 2:08That'd be so cool. Things are just starting to
- 2:11spill out. So Kev, why don't we just head right
- 2:13into the China GP recap? Recap! We're back. I'm
- 2:33going to take about 20 % off. Right there. I'm
- 2:36just feeling it today. Let's take about 20 %
- 2:39off. Oh, man. It's been a long day at work, and
- 2:41here we are. We're just happy to be back. Happy
- 2:44to talk some F1. Happy to talk about this Chinese
- 2:46GP. But we had a sprint. A sprint. All right.
- 2:52I just had to do it one more time. A sprint,
- 2:54though. Yeah? The first sprint of the year. Do
- 2:57you like sprints? I think they're pretty fun,
- 3:02actually. You get a little bit of action for
- 3:06half the time. It definitely throws the weekend
- 3:11into a little bit of a mix. I don't like they
- 3:14don't get as much practice. And practice where
- 3:18they probably could have used it because of newly
- 3:19resurfaced track. Really, really grippy. A lot.
- 3:23We saw in practice one, I feel like there were
- 3:25a couple people that went off. Definitely a couple
- 3:29of mishaps in the sprint itself. And a Red Bull
- 3:34in last place again in both the race quality
- 3:37and the sprint quality. Should I say typical?
- 3:40Ooh, do you dare? Do you dare? I know. I've established
- 3:44my disdain for Liam. I think that's okay. I can
- 3:47say typical. Man, typical. Ouch. All right, well,
- 3:49we'll touch on Liam in a little bit because we
- 3:51have a lot to say. But Lewis wins the sprint.
- 3:55And then also in the sprint shootout, sets a
- 3:57track record. He does. I did not expect to see
- 4:01that. This is, yeah, the overall track record.
- 4:03Right, right. That is something I did not expect
- 4:05or anticipate to see this weekend for sure. But,
- 4:09I mean, again, we'll touch on Ferrari in a little
- 4:11bit as far as the GP goes. But they didn't do
- 4:13all that bad. And then it all went bad after
- 4:18the race, post -race. But it is what it is, I
- 4:20think. Okay, I'm just going to get into it. But
- 4:23anyway. Just kind of staying on the sprint for
- 4:26a second, Lewis dominated. He didn't lose a place.
- 4:29I think Ferrari proved what they are capable
- 4:33of. You set a track record. You still got to
- 4:38be fast for that. And you did that with the guy
- 4:40who's only driving the car for his second weekend.
- 4:43The fact that the guy in his second weekend took
- 4:46that win. Also, I think this was a big thing
- 4:48for both him and other people looking in that
- 4:51was coming off of um the melbourne gp and his
- 4:57performance in that grand prix which wasn't fabulous
- 4:59he comes in and the first thing he does is goes
- 5:02in and wins a sprint and says guess what guys
- 5:04i'm still lewis hamilton yeah no 100 in front
- 5:07in case you guys forgot in front of a crowd that
- 5:09really really loves lewis no matter what team
- 5:12he's racing for now they're all wearing red this
- 5:14year yeah they do love china loves they do love
- 5:17ferrari but they also really love lewis yeah
- 5:19it's just a match made in heaven match made in
- 5:21heaven for that fun fans in china um But moving
- 5:24on to the GP quality, Joe, I know you said you
- 5:26had just a couple notes, nothing too wild. Yeah,
- 5:28I already mentioned Lawson, a Red Bull qualifying
- 5:30last. V -Carb looked really strong in qualifying.
- 5:35Oscar's first pole position. You know what? V
- 5:37-Carb looked really strong in the race, too.
- 5:39And we'll get to why they did not finish strong.
- 5:45Hamilton took lap record in his sprint quali.
- 5:48Oscar took lap record in his GP quali. So I believe
- 5:52Oscar holds that overall record. That being said,
- 5:56just kind of doing a little bit of foreshadowing.
- 6:01race record uh still being held 2004 michael
- 6:04schumacher so that has not been broken i think
- 6:06we were still like four seconds off of that pace
- 6:08so i think no i think i saw that we were getting
- 6:10like uh i think fastest lap was a one i think
- 6:14fastest lap was like a 135 oh if i remember correctly
- 6:16i can check and if i remember correctly michael
- 6:19schumacher is Michael Schumacher's fastest lap
- 6:22is 132 and some change. I don't remember the
- 6:25details of that one, but I remember seeing 132
- 6:27and being like, really? So you're thinking not
- 6:29four seconds. Not four seconds. Close. Joe is
- 6:35going to fact check me, and I appreciate that
- 6:38because I hate being wrong. I got you. Maybe
- 6:41our hold music should be the Max Verstappen music.
- 6:44Instead of that or instead of Jeopardy. Like
- 6:47moved into. elevator music a little bit oh man
- 6:52i have an audio background we'll figure it out
- 6:54we should continue on it's gonna take me a second
- 6:57okay we're gonna continue on then and talk about
- 7:00the gp i think sounds good to me uh mclaren sweeping
- 7:05i mean yeah p1 p2 i mean and they looked they
- 7:10looked really really dominant until the last
- 7:12lap yes that was a little awkward that's fine
- 7:17but they They were still extremely dominant last
- 7:21week and this week, and honestly, it's starting
- 7:25to feel a little bit like... This is wild. It's
- 7:28not there yet, but it's starting to feel like
- 7:30the 2022 Red Bulls a little bit. Just their pure
- 7:33dominance over everybody else. Now, don't get
- 7:36me wrong, I'm also going to say in a little bit
- 7:39something about Mercedes and Ferrari both, but
- 7:43it is way too early to say it, but... It is becoming
- 7:47eerily similar to pure dominance. I don't think
- 7:50it's quite the same. Because they would have
- 7:51been 1 -2 last week in 2. I think their car is
- 7:54probably close to as dominant as that Red Bull
- 7:59was at the time. Like, it's just a much faster
- 8:01car. But with all love and respect to your team,
- 8:06neither driver is Max Verstappen. No, you're
- 8:08totally right. Neither driver is Max Verstappen,
- 8:11and I cannot deny that. And it's hard. It's hard
- 8:14to say that they were as dominant because that
- 8:16Red Bull was consistently 20 seconds ahead. Which
- 8:20is fair. And McLaren is getting there. Team -wise.
- 8:26McLaren is getting there, but is that a fault
- 8:28of their car or of their drivers? Not meeting
- 8:31Max's insane potential in a car, right? Well,
- 8:38it's definitely the fastest car on the grid right
- 8:39now. Hands down. Yeah. But is it as is it as
- 8:42dominant as, you know, Red Bull? I mean, I guess
- 8:46it's way too early. It's all like, you know,
- 8:48it's all comparative. Yeah. It's all comparative
- 8:50to other cars in the grid, too, because I'm sure
- 8:52the McLaren now is more dominant than that Red
- 8:55Bull. But compared to the rest of the grid, they're
- 8:58not right. Right. They're still there, but not
- 9:01as dominant. Yeah. Now, not straight dominance,
- 9:04but it's I mean, if they do it again this weekend,
- 9:07I'm going to stand on it. You know, don't get
- 9:09me wrong. There's all year to make improvements.
- 9:12And again, I got some things to say about Mercedes
- 9:14and Ferrari. Both. They're going to be battling
- 9:16for sure at some point very soon. Stricter back
- 9:19wing, stricter wing rules coming to affect Japan.
- 9:23So maybe they're not as fast anymore. Maybe maybe
- 9:26it kind of slows them down slightly. That's definitely
- 9:28a big footnote to keep an eye on this. I think
- 9:31that I heard next week. I did think that I heard
- 9:33that McLaren came out and said that after the
- 9:37debacle last season that they kind of laid off
- 9:40the flexi -wing idea and focused on their development
- 9:43in other areas. They do have something of a flexi
- 9:46-wing because I think pretty much all the teams
- 9:47do to some regard at this point. But it wasn't
- 9:50like a major development point for them. So they
- 9:53were saying they're like, sure, the FIA can come
- 9:55in and do these checks and do whatever they need
- 9:57to and we think we'll be fine. So... McLaren
- 10:00is still feeling relatively confident in spite
- 10:02of that change. So that's great for them and
- 10:05probably not the news that all the rest of the
- 10:07teams wanted to hear. Well, and speaking of confidence,
- 10:10I mean, right out of the gate, it was just pure
- 10:15insanity. Excuse me. Oscar very aggressively,
- 10:19you know, trying to cut off George Russell. If
- 10:24I was George, I would have absolutely shat myself.
- 10:28But George was quickly running out of track.
- 10:31I mean, he was going to touch that wall. But
- 10:33just Oscar's move right off the line, to me,
- 10:36I mean, oh, man. It was good. It was good. For
- 10:41sure. No, it's exactly what you need to do. But,
- 10:43again, like, between him and Lando, it's going
- 10:47to be hard for either one to win the WDC, in
- 10:50my opinion. Like, hold on. Sorry, reset me for
- 10:55a second. It's going to be hard to pinpoint which
- 10:58one of them could win. For sure. Or it's going
- 11:00to be hard for them to win in general. I still
- 11:02think somebody else is going to win. I do. Because
- 11:04they're just going to keep flip -flopping wins.
- 11:07Listen to me. So if a third driver can get in
- 11:10there, like Charles, and start winning some races,
- 11:13or George at this point. But again, Mercedes,
- 11:16it's early in the season. Don't get me started.
- 11:17We'll get there very soon. But I don't know.
- 11:20I don't know. I think that's going to become
- 11:21a problem. I unfortunately don't win constructors.
- 11:25I think at the moment, if they can, they continue
- 11:28to be this consistent. I think McLaren can win
- 11:30constructors, but I think WDC is going to be
- 11:33harder for a McLaren driver to win because they're
- 11:36both can be good, be hand in hand, either, you
- 11:40know, any race. It's, it's, it's literally, but
- 11:42another driver would have to start, you know,
- 11:45being consistent right now. It's only George,
- 11:47but he can't catch the McLarens right now. You
- 11:49know, you're right. It is like a, yeah, it's.
- 11:51A coin flip. It's going to be interesting to
- 11:53watch. Which one could get ahead like Oscar is.
- 11:56Would that be weird for McLaren if Oscar wins
- 11:59one first? I feel like that'll cause literal
- 12:03psychic damage to Landon Morris. I feel like
- 12:05if Landon's driving this car, has been driving
- 12:07it for so long, and then his teammate shows up,
- 12:11drives for three years, and wins a championship.
- 12:13That's what I mean. I wonder if that would cause
- 12:15a rift for next season, or if we just see. pure
- 12:21chaos between the two all next season oh my we're
- 12:23gonna see it this year i'm telling you something's
- 12:26gonna happen we're all buddy buddy teammate teammate
- 12:28right now but they're both gonna want it so bad
- 12:32that something's gonna happen and again like
- 12:34now this is a different situation but you know
- 12:37a danny rick and max you know that short battle
- 12:40that was had you know on the same team that's
- 12:42what i envision i hope not there's a reason why
- 12:45oscar signed another signed a multi -year deal
- 12:49to stay, so you would think he's in it for the
- 12:52team game, right? But at some point, he wants
- 12:54to win a WDC, and he is more aggressive than
- 12:58Lando, in my opinion. I agree. And I think that
- 13:02could be the edge of him beating out Lando for
- 13:05a WDC. That's interesting. I do think Oscar's
- 13:07more aggressive. I need more races to make that
- 13:09determination. I think we're out of the game.
- 13:11Three years. The last two years, you could still
- 13:16see the rookie in him. You could still see the
- 13:18refinement that he needed. I have not seen those
- 13:21issues this year yet from him. He's been driving
- 13:24solidly. Granted, Australia, that's kind of a
- 13:26wash. It was just a really bad position to be
- 13:29in. And he would have finished two, though. That's
- 13:31the thing. 100%. And again, more of that rookie
- 13:34mistake coming out by over. correcting right
- 13:37yep so from our expert analysis of the situation
- 13:40i am an expert yeah yeah for sure uh yeah i feel
- 13:44like i just need a few more races to really really
- 13:46see if he is aggressive lando's fixed his starts
- 13:50so i'm pretty sure we'll probably still see one
- 13:53or two starts where he's messing up but he's
- 13:54started really well to argue his point and to
- 13:59kind of loop back to what we brought up earlier
- 14:00the start from oscar Almost perfectly mirrors
- 14:04the start that we saw from Lewis in the sprint
- 14:07where Lewis, the first thing he did is he started
- 14:09and he caught immediately to the right, cut off
- 14:12Max Verstappen. And then we look back at the
- 14:16GP and we see Oscar. They come off the line and
- 14:19the first thing Oscar does, I'm going to cover
- 14:21off George Russell. I see that less as an aggressive
- 14:24move and more as the move you need to take. I
- 14:27just think the way Oscar went about it is aggressive.
- 14:30I would agree. If anyone is in that position
- 14:31and they get a good start off the line, they're
- 14:33going to do that. They have to. Or else they
- 14:35lose a spot because it's inside. But just the
- 14:38way he went about it, though, for me, it's just
- 14:40not the first time he's been aggressive, though.
- 14:42Towards the end of last season, Oscar was getting
- 14:44super aggressive and taking chances he wasn't
- 14:47taking earlier in the season, getting more comfortable
- 14:49in the car. In his own skill level. And I just,
- 14:53I don't know. I think it's. He was getting into
- 14:55a little bit of trouble last season. For sure.
- 14:57End of last season. For sure. By being too risky.
- 15:00Yep. But you got to take risks to win championships
- 15:02is what it feels like. And that's what old Max
- 15:05Verstappen has been doing. That is what Max does.
- 15:08I think. I'm not saying he's driving just like
- 15:10Max Verstappen, but there's flashes where you're
- 15:12like, whoa. I was thinking about this while I
- 15:15was on lunch earlier and I was like, I really
- 15:17feel like Lando has this very different. like
- 15:22way that he's taking on these races where he
- 15:25just is generally less aggressive i see him like
- 15:27he he isn't going for these big lunges that you
- 15:31see other drivers doing as consistently but he's
- 15:34taking his time and he's waiting for the opportunity
- 15:37and he's taking these tires further than other
- 15:40drivers are and he's kind of playing this longer
- 15:42game where he's like i'm not gonna do something
- 15:44crazy and get ahead of you right now but those
- 15:46tires are gonna go out mine won't And he's got
- 15:50that confidence that he takes it further and
- 15:51he plays this very methodical game. Because he
- 15:54knows their cards fast. He is very patient right
- 15:57now. Exactly. Which has been fun to watch. It
- 15:59is more methodical. Yeah. As opposed to somebody
- 16:01like Max Verstappen who says, look. I'm going
- 16:04to put it up the inside line, and if you've got
- 16:05a problem with it, here's my side pod. Or back
- 16:08out. Or back out. We're going to play chicken,
- 16:10and I will win. And I will win. You will fear
- 16:13the sight of Max Verstappen in your mirror. So
- 16:15I think that's kind of where those two differ.
- 16:17Lando has matured in that sense, though. He is
- 16:20waiting more for the right opportunity, which
- 16:23is enjoyable if you like that sort of racing.
- 16:26Again, if you like banging and booming, this
- 16:28isn't the place for that. Now, if you like playing
- 16:31chess, this is chess right here on a racetrack.
- 16:35And Lando is winning the chess part of it. Yep.
- 16:39For sure. Oscar's playing chess like me, just
- 16:42going for it and whatever. Anyway. I think I'm
- 16:44realizing as we're talking about this, I'm too
- 16:46sensitive about the McLaren boys. I just don't
- 16:49want to assume. I'm getting offended. I could
- 16:51probably sit here all day and make assumptions
- 16:53about the rest of the drivers. I think we got
- 16:57to keep in mind, just for everything, and this
- 16:59is for me too, we're on race two. 100%. Right.
- 17:01You are correct. But we have a podcast to hold
- 17:04on to. You're totally right. We got to talk about
- 17:05it. You're totally right. We got to generate
- 17:06stories. And for that, I'm going to say Lance
- 17:08Stroll, man. WBC this year. Not WBC. That's my
- 17:13man, of course. Oh, Dick Boyle. No, I think I
- 17:19do see your point, and you're right. Lando 100
- 17:21% is not being like, he's not going for the move
- 17:23right away. It was a little hard for him. him
- 17:26i think he was struggling with the car during
- 17:27the race so it wasn't easy for him to make it
- 17:30and the car just outlasted the other cars around
- 17:32him and that's when he made his his points but
- 17:34um you're right uh oscar i think just in general
- 17:38has been a bit more aggressive so i'm i'm looking
- 17:40forward to seeing if that if that continues and
- 17:42when it comes to who's wdc i mean oscar definitely
- 17:45can't be counted out no yeah right uh charles
- 17:48needs to step up we'll talk about charlie hey
- 17:52he We'll wait. We'll wait. Anyway, we do got
- 17:56to move on, though. Mercedes, we'll be talking
- 17:58about McLaren all year, I reckon. But Mercedes,
- 18:02George getting P3, Kimi. With the P6 after the
- 18:07DQs, but Kimi with the P6. Driver of the day
- 18:11as well. For some reason. As soon as it popped
- 18:15up, I was like, why? Again, back to your point,
- 18:18he should have been driver of the day last week.
- 18:19It was just delayed from the weekend prior. Everyone
- 18:23was like, oh crap, I was supposed to vote for
- 18:26Kimi last weekend. We'll give it to him this
- 18:27weekend. We'll give it to him this weekend. Man,
- 18:30Oscar should have gotten driver of the day last
- 18:32weekend. We'll give it to him in Japan. He didn't
- 18:34have to, but we'll give it to him. it to him
- 18:35yeah right right uh yeah even he on the radio
- 18:39said i don't lie to why why did that happen he's
- 18:42like i don't know why i got it but again two
- 18:44races in like we've already stated so this is
- 18:47really i'm not even grabbing the tinfoil hat
- 18:49for this but mercedes you know with you know
- 18:54antonelli is becoming a dark horse to fight for
- 18:57that second spot in constructors i i still think
- 18:59it'd be challenging to catch mclaren if you're
- 19:01mercedes but It's becoming a real possibility
- 19:04when you start looking at the second drivers.
- 19:06No offense to Lewis. I do consider him the second
- 19:08driver at Ferrari today, right now. But Kimi's
- 19:14performing right now. And again, two races in.
- 19:17Mercedes also, again, performs a lot better at
- 19:21the beginning of the seasons compared to, say...
- 19:26Like the last couple of seasons, it feels like
- 19:28Mercedes comes out the gate fairly hot and then
- 19:30they kind of trickle off and then they kind of
- 19:32pick up after break a little bit. Yeah, we've
- 19:34seen them, I think, go both ways where in the
- 19:38start they'll either that they they become strong
- 19:41or become weak. I feel like we've seen them both
- 19:43ways. But George, incredibly consistent. I would
- 19:47not have ever put him in in two podiums in a
- 19:49row right out of the bat, right out of the gate,
- 19:51right off the bat. Yeah, I think. I definitely
- 19:56see him – I don't see him, unfortunately, fighting
- 19:59for wins, but I see him definitely consistently
- 20:01fighting for podiums. I think he wins at least
- 20:04one this year. Oh, 100%. I'm not – yeah, I'm
- 20:06not – but I'm saying consistently fighting for
- 20:08wins? Probably not. I think that's just going
- 20:10to go to naturally the McLarens. Well, until
- 20:12they start wrecking each other, right? Yes. Oh,
- 20:14God, don't. If they start wrecking each other.
- 20:17That's what I'm talking about, fellas. I don't
- 20:20want to get back to McLaren. I do want to bring
- 20:23up – you said – Hamilton is the number two driver.
- 20:27And I was like, isn't Hamilton leading in WDC
- 20:31right now? And he is ahead of Charles Leclerc
- 20:34by one point. That's fine. That doesn't make
- 20:36him the number one driver. We'll get to why I
- 20:40think Charles is going to be the number one driver.
- 20:42So wait, are you saying Lance Stroll is the lead
- 20:43driver? Look, I mean, numbers are numbers. Numbers
- 20:47are numbers. He keeps coming up, boys. Because
- 20:49Lance is definitely over a lot of points, Sonny.
- 20:54I think we said that Lance Stroll was going to
- 20:57be WDC this year. So that's like. I didn't say
- 21:00that. Did you say that? I'm sorry. I take that
- 21:02back. I think it was Joe that made the joke that
- 21:04Lance is just going to wake up this year. Like,
- 21:06I'm just going to start driving. And so far,
- 21:09it feels like that's exactly what's going on.
- 21:11He hasn't made. I don't think he's made really
- 21:13any mistakes. that I can remember at the moment.
- 21:15No, seriously. We might as well just mention
- 21:17Aston real quick. Yeah, let's do it. Lance is
- 21:21not Lansing. No, no. Like he's becoming Sir Lance
- 21:26a lot in a way instead. Like, wait, did he die?
- 21:29Like a horrible death or was he successful? Did
- 21:32we put somebody else in the car and just pretend
- 21:33that he's Lance? Take off your helmet. Take off
- 21:36it. No, but I mean. No, I can't. Last week again,
- 21:40the anomaly. What did we call it? The something
- 21:42anomaly. I can't remember what we called it.
- 21:43The race anomaly. Yeah, it was just. Oh, yeah,
- 21:45I see. Wet, wet. Yeah. Anomaly wet. Anomaly wet
- 21:49is what we kept saying. But so he did well there
- 21:51given the circumstances. Yes, obviously he gained
- 21:55a couple with the DQs. He wouldn't have gotten
- 22:00points without those. But he is battling right
- 22:04there, though, with everybody else. He is fighting,
- 22:07and he was notably in the sprint holding Lando
- 22:11Norris. He was. Pretty much the entire sprint.
- 22:13No, he wasn't. You mentioned this, and he was
- 22:16not holding Lando. Lando was not catching him.
- 22:19Okay, well. Lando himself was not catching him.
- 22:22He was holding a pace ahead of Lando until his
- 22:26tires started going out. But once Lando caught
- 22:28up to him, he overtook him. Yes, pretty handily.
- 22:31Yes, you are correct. But he was. You're right.
- 22:33He was not. He was not. He was keeping the pace.
- 22:36Yes. So. He's not losing time. It's better than
- 22:38I would have expected out of a Lance Stroll.
- 22:42Sorry. But no, no, that was great. I apologize.
- 22:45No, it's all good. Are you okay? Hey, it's fine.
- 22:48Since we're on Aston, just bring up, rest in
- 22:50peace, Fernando Alonso. He's not dead. Why? We
- 22:53gotta stop saying this. Yeah, we gotta stop saying
- 22:54that. That's my point. We gotta stop acting like
- 22:56these people are dying. I said rest in peace
- 22:58in the moment I did it. I was like, why did I
- 23:00say that? Pour one out for a man. He's my favorite
- 23:04rookie on the track. A rookie gone too soon.
- 23:08No, but Alonso retiring for a precautionary.
- 23:11brake issue how did he do in the sprint was he
- 23:15he wasn't no not he was struggling okay we need
- 23:18to see him he's got a rough start to the race
- 23:20so we can properly see where the acid martin
- 23:23is because i don't think it's it's definitely
- 23:24not the best car but it's also not the worst
- 23:26but if stroll is able to start he's i mean he's
- 23:29competing just fine with quote unquote the best
- 23:31of the rest so yeah i mean you'd argue fernando
- 23:34should be finishing p6 p7 pretty consistently
- 23:38if he can get a good drive yeah in theory right
- 23:42yeah uh let's see so we just kind of jumped around
- 23:45a little bit so let's go back up to red bull
- 23:47we don't need to spend a ton of time well we
- 23:49got to spend a little bit on liam uh but max
- 23:52finishing p4 liam p12 after the dqs uh max again
- 23:57just driving the crap out of the car you know
- 24:00doing what he's got to do uh but liam So, what's
- 24:06the news that you guys have heard? Obviously,
- 24:07there's rumors out there. I did put them in news.
- 24:10Do we just want to talk about Liam? 100%. We
- 24:12might as well. It's going to come up. It has
- 24:15not been confirmed by Formula One, by himself,
- 24:19by Red Bull. It has not been confirmed. However...
- 24:21Has Twitter confirmed it? There are multiple
- 24:24news sources saying that from paddock sources...
- 24:30Yuki will be taking his spot for the Japan Grand
- 24:33Prix. We're a paddock source. I don't know about
- 24:35that. You can trust us. We're a couple hundred
- 24:38thousand miles away. Why aren't you inviting
- 24:41me to the paddock? We're there every week. You're
- 24:44there. Trust me. You just don't remember. I must
- 24:46be getting really drunk. That's interesting.
- 24:54If it does happen, cool, get Liam back in the
- 24:57car that he should have been in and put Yuki
- 24:59in the car that he should have been in. And then
- 25:01you can start liking Liam again. And then I can
- 25:02keep disliking Liam until we get rid of Liam
- 25:06and put Danny back in the car. Oh, excuse me.
- 25:09What was that? That's crazy. Oh, my gosh. I'm
- 25:10sorry. I don't know what happened to me there.
- 25:11If Danny comes back, it'll be in a Cadillac,
- 25:13buddy. Oh, boy. Yeah, so, yeah, Yuki, I'm excited
- 25:18to see. Maybe Yuki drives better. No, ESPN reported
- 25:21an hour ago. Red Bull to replace Lawson with
- 25:25Sonoda. Let's find somebody more reliable than
- 25:27ESPN about F1. Formula One. Planet F1, Red Bull,
- 25:30make Liam Lawson decision with announcement expected.
- 25:32That was three hours ago. Yeah. I mean, it's
- 25:35incredibly possible it doesn't happen. We saw
- 25:37it with Checo. We saw the same thing happen with
- 25:40Checo and him being booted out, and it didn't
- 25:42happen until the end of the season. So ESPN is
- 25:45probably reporting the news sources that you
- 25:47saw. It's saying Dutch newspapers. Yes. The Telegraph
- 25:51and De Limburger. I definitely said that wrong,
- 25:54probably. Isn't that what Colin said? Would swap
- 25:57seats with... Yeah, I think so. He sent... I
- 26:01can't remember. I can't remember. So I was going
- 26:03to come to this pod after watching the China
- 26:05GP and ask, how many more races does Liam get
- 26:08before they swap them? And that answer was pretty
- 26:10much... I actually think because of all the sources,
- 26:15or rather because of everyone reporting it, it's...
- 26:17it's pretty likely to happen. And I think we're
- 26:19actually going to see a message within the next
- 26:21couple of days that it's going to happen. You
- 26:22think so? I think so. Um, but if, if this is
- 26:27just all guffaw and it's not real, it looks like
- 26:30ESPN just trying to be ahead of the game. Yeah.
- 26:31They're saying reports are stated. They're not,
- 26:34no one's, no one's site, but it's on. No one
- 26:36is confirmed. Um, if it doesn't happen, how much
- 26:40more can Red Bull handle this? Like, like, is
- 26:43this his last race? If he does not. if he does
- 26:46not get points is is yuki for sure in like what
- 26:49do you guys think like what is what is their
- 26:50breaking point yeah liam needs to you need to
- 26:52score yeah you need to score points yes the car
- 26:55is hard to drive we know that yes max verstappen's
- 26:57a multi wdc champion we know but you got to score
- 27:01points choco was scoring points in the car he
- 27:03was you know you got to at least be scoring points
- 27:06right now that's it that's like bottom line dude
- 27:09we gave there's a reason why we put you in the
- 27:11red bull instead of yuki instead of isaac which
- 27:14wasn't an option per se but you know we put you
- 27:17in the car you have to be scoring points and
- 27:20yuki sanada has been driving outstanding he got
- 27:22screwed over by strategy this race we'll touch
- 27:25on that might as well touch on that here in a
- 27:26minute but yeah it's uh I feel like Checo and
- 27:32all of his fans right now are just sitting with
- 27:35the smuggest looks on their face. Like, we told
- 27:38you there was a problem with the car. That's
- 27:39why Checo will be back in F1. And you all said
- 27:41that Checo was the problem. He will be back in
- 27:44F1. I do actually agree. There's no tinfoil hat
- 27:46here. I do actually agree with him. I think we
- 27:47will see Checo in Cadillac next year. I agree.
- 27:54Sorry, you guys are messing with my brain. I
- 27:57don't know why we're talking about Cadillac right
- 27:58now. I don't know. It's not going to be. It's
- 28:01not going to be Checo. It just won't be. It's
- 28:03not going to be Checo and it's not going to be
- 28:04Danny Rick. I can tell you that. I agree. It
- 28:06won't be Danny. Neither of them are going to
- 28:08be racing next year in F1. It will be. What do
- 28:11you got? This is in relation to Red Bull and
- 28:14Racing Bulls. We probably should just mention
- 28:16them next because we're already talking about
- 28:18them. But Marco. Oh, I know what you're going
- 28:21to bring up. I want to get your sole reaction
- 28:24to this. Yes, math could finish the season at
- 28:28Racing Bulls as the V -Carbo 2 looks faster than
- 28:31the RB21. Quit talking, dude. No way. Our boy
- 28:36Helmut Marco. Helmut said that? Helmut said that.
- 28:39No way. Yeah, this guy should not be allowed
- 28:42to talk to news sources. This dude is yapping.
- 28:44Come on, Grandpa. Let's bring you back to bed.
- 28:46Come on. Yeah, yeah, it's time. Y 'all insane,
- 28:49that sounds. I can't. Old man yells at clouds,
- 28:52you know? It's crazy, dude. God, that'd be, that'd
- 28:56be something. I do, okay, I do want to point
- 28:57out one thing. So, like, we've talked a lot about.
- 29:01the one team having four cars thing right i'm
- 29:04trying to seriously imagine that it brings up
- 29:07serious i'm sorry i'll let you finish your point
- 29:09so like we've talked a lot about the uh one team
- 29:12having four cars thing right and i have kind
- 29:14of turned a blind eye to like them being the
- 29:17development team you know vcar being you know
- 29:21the rookie team but now that The rookie team
- 29:24is maybe faster than you. You can't just go move
- 29:27your lead driver to the faster car. Why can't
- 29:30you? Because now I'm quite literally. Why can't
- 29:32you? I have four cars. Yeah, right. So why can't
- 29:34you? At this point. And doing it mid -season.
- 29:36Like, maybe if you're like, boy. We're two races
- 29:37in. Where's our logo? Our logo's on the car,
- 29:40though. At this point, if you're like, oh, well,
- 29:42you know. It's a white Red Bull. The V car looks
- 29:43faster. We'll move Max next season. Sugar -free
- 29:46Red Bull. That's fine, right? Because that's
- 29:48a lot. Oh, so yeah, this gets me heated, too.
- 29:52Yeah, I agree with you. I don't like it. I think
- 29:54I talked about it at length last season. I ranted
- 29:56last season. it's a team with four cars on the
- 30:00grid and you can't you can't like defend it no
- 30:02you can't defend it yes you you bring newer drivers
- 30:05into that lower team so they can prove themselves
- 30:07and then maybe move them up just so you can swap
- 30:10them back down because the the main car is actually
- 30:12the issue all along and you built a car for a
- 30:16once in a lifetime driver yep right and no one
- 30:19can live up to that yep the idea that max or
- 30:27stavin could even would no just no i want them
- 30:33to put max in a v -car just for one race and
- 30:35to see if it keeps up pace and then they're like
- 30:37what do we do they're gonna be like you know
- 30:40what screw it for japan you know what yeah yuki
- 30:42you know once you come up we'll put you with
- 30:44i will put max with isaac instead how crazy would
- 30:47it be if they if like the if the liam thing is
- 30:50all right but like it's not or the yuki going
- 30:52to red bull thing is right but it's not yuki
- 30:54swapping with isaac Yuki swapping with Max. Oh,
- 30:58my God. That sounds amazing, dude. So good, bro.
- 31:00God, that would make you feel worse as Liam,
- 31:03I think. Yeah. But why would you take Yuki out
- 31:06of the passenger car? We're going to give you
- 31:07a car that cannot be driven by anyone except
- 31:09for Max. We're going to put two people who've
- 31:13never driven it before. We're going to put two
- 31:15not Max. I would even settle. I know I just said
- 31:18Max driving a V car for one race. I would even
- 31:20settle for Max testing in a V car. I think that
- 31:22would be so funny. Because that means they're
- 31:25thinking. about it let's stop talking about max
- 31:26and v car for today this is amazing anyway oh
- 31:29but really quick i mean yuki strategy messed
- 31:32up he he was in for a really good race uh isaac
- 31:35got p11 which is great i'm really happy actually
- 31:37raced really well he raced really well in comparison
- 31:41to some of the other rookies isaac isaac race
- 31:43well i'm very i'm very curious to see uh duhan
- 31:46we'll i'll mention alpina right after this tie
- 31:49it in real quick uh jack completely messed that
- 31:52turn up at the what an idiot you got some That's
- 31:54about two hands. I was going to try to support
- 31:57him. Literally until that moment. I'm like, dude.
- 32:02I do that on Xbox, homie. You can't do that.
- 32:06Bro is something against the kicks, I think.
- 32:08I don't know. What the heck, man? I'm sitting
- 32:11here watching him in the sprint and he just murders
- 32:14both the kick drivers. I'm like, what is happening?
- 32:17Leave them alone. They're struggling enough as
- 32:19is. Jack's having a tough go. Pierre Gasly DQ'd
- 32:24after the race. Car was underway. The car is
- 32:31supposed to weigh 800. Okay, so one thing I want
- 32:35to point out for the cars that were underweight,
- 32:36what I heard was it was because a lot of those
- 32:40teams were expecting two stops. Yep, correct.
- 32:42And so they fueled the cars for two stops. They
- 32:48did not take two stops. They took one stop. Used
- 32:50more fuel. They used more fuel and came in underweight.
- 32:54And that was where the issue came from. They
- 32:56came in underweight after draining the fuel.
- 32:59Right, but they only take out so much. A specific
- 33:01amount. They take out like one and a half liters
- 33:03or something. I can't remember what it is. But
- 33:05they only take out a little bit. They don't drain
- 33:07the whole car though. I thought they had to leave
- 33:09some fuel in for weighing purposes. So either
- 33:12way, they're off by one. It was not fuel. It
- 33:16was tire wear. Because they were on a one -stop,
- 33:19they used more tire and did not have the rubber
- 33:21on the car. I thought one was one and one was
- 33:23the other. Okay, this is specifically for Charles.
- 33:27Yeah. Specifically Charles. I feel like Gasly
- 33:29might have been a fuel thing. But yeah, Charles
- 33:32got caught up in it too. Both one kilogram. That's
- 33:37insane. It feels so bad, man. That's insane.
- 33:39I'd be so pissed. And while we're at it, Lewis
- 33:41also getting DQ'd because, quote, Plank on the
- 33:45bottom of Hamilton's Ferrari had worn beyond
- 33:47the permitted limit, end quote. ESPN. Sorry,
- 33:51go ahead. I was going to say, Lewis Hamilton
- 33:54during the sprint was actually talking about
- 33:56how he didn't have enough downforce in his car,
- 33:58and he was struggling in that regard. So Ferrari
- 34:01tried dropping his car a little bit lower to
- 34:02give him some more downforce, and that probably
- 34:05caused some of the shaving off and caused that
- 34:10problem. Nice. Good call. I don't know if I just
- 34:13stole your... No, no. I didn't even know they
- 34:16adjusted the car lower. Yeah. No, that's awesome.
- 34:21Let's see. Did we talk about Ferrari? Oh, I guess
- 34:24we haven't. So let's talk about Williams and
- 34:27Kick real quick, and then we can end on Haas
- 34:28and let him have his moment in sunshine and Haas
- 34:32basking it. I'm beaming. Kick, that's about what
- 34:35we expect them to do, I think. Yep. Yeah. You
- 34:38know, like even with the DQs, that's still about
- 34:41where they should be. Bortoletto made it into
- 34:45sprint quality, too. I don't think he made it
- 34:47into qualifying, too, though. So he was he was
- 34:50still showing some pace above some other drivers.
- 34:53So I'm still looking forward to seeing him race
- 34:55and do more. I think, unfortunately, the car
- 34:57is going to hinder him a lot, but maybe he can
- 34:59make something out of it. Williams, Albon finishing
- 35:03P7, Carlos P10. Albon was actually having a great
- 35:07run, too, for a minute. Unfortunately, why did
- 35:12he fall back? I can't remember, because wasn't
- 35:14he up near P5 before, like early on in the race?
- 35:18Where am I at right now? Albon started 10th.
- 35:21Oh, I'm about halfway through. Oh, Albon started
- 35:2210th? Yes. Oh, okay. I thought he got up a lot
- 35:26higher than that. that one point but maybe i'm
- 35:29thinking of something else but anyway yeah if
- 35:30that's the case he made two positions then that's
- 35:32but william's getting getting points out of the
- 35:35weekend from both drivers you gotta be happy
- 35:37with that yeah um yeah there's dqs but whatever
- 35:40you take those yes you do you still take the
- 35:43points they still count up the same yep uh let's
- 35:46see oh okay so i guess we're on haas now what
- 35:49a weekend so Immediately gleams. Oh, I'm so smug.
- 35:54I'm just looking over across the table at a certain
- 35:58somebody who is saying Haas is going to be so
- 36:00bad. Look at how bad they were in the wet. Look
- 36:04at how bad they are. Look at how bad they are.
- 36:06No, hold on. We're not doing accents. But yes.
- 36:09Olsen had some pretty good pace all day. All
- 36:11day. I do also want to point out the fact that
- 36:14Oli drove incredibly. He put on. medium tires
- 36:18and drove i think it was 30 laps while overtaking
- 36:22four cars on mediums and if we remember the sprint
- 36:27drivers were driving 19 laps on their mediums
- 36:30and were crying at the end of the race saying
- 36:32that their tires were melted and yet ollie was
- 36:34able to drive 30 laps on mediums and still overtake
- 36:37four cars rigged and um And one of those cars
- 36:43I would like to point out was a Mercedes. It
- 36:45was Kimi Antonelli, another rookie that he is
- 36:47competing against. So the fact that Kimi Antonelli
- 36:50got overtaken by a Haas is kind of wicked. Looks
- 36:53kind of bad. Just wait on it. The guy that won
- 36:55driver of the day. It'll be fine. Antonelli finished
- 36:58ahead of Behrman. What? Antonelli finished ahead
- 37:01of Behrman. No, he didn't. No, he didn't. He
- 37:03finished one position behind Behrman. No, Antonelli
- 37:06did not. Antonelli finished P6. Yeah. Ollie finished
- 37:11P8. Yes, he did. Oh, maybe seven was album. Oh,
- 37:14maybe I'm thinking of of Ocon had passed. Yeah,
- 37:19he's dreaming. Either way, it was great to see
- 37:24how many of those overtakes with new mediums.
- 37:27Don't talk to me. But it was a great pace right
- 37:31now. No, they don't. It was a really good race.
- 37:33It's good to see. You know, I'm curious to see
- 37:36how they do these next couple weeks. Like, can
- 37:38their drivers now get in a groove? Because we
- 37:39knew the car should have some pace. It had some
- 37:42pace last year. We saw it multiple times. I know,
- 37:45Joe. But I have them still finishing ninth in
- 37:48constructors. I do, too. You know, in front of
- 37:50kick. But at the moment, my team is hanging out
- 37:55at bottom, which I did not expect either. I was
- 37:57just looking at constructors. Williams is tied
- 38:00with Ferrari right now. That's insane. will change
- 38:05it will change that's gonna change it's going
- 38:07to change like the fact that Charles was able
- 38:10to race the whole the whole thing with a bunk
- 38:13wing yeah and he was driving the absolute I know
- 38:16that's what I was gonna bring up I was like I
- 38:17didn't look at any of my notes for any of these
- 38:20teams because we just went so crazy on McLaren
- 38:23but like we're kind of like Charles had a mega
- 38:28drive like seriously with a broken wing we were
- 38:30joking it's like he's he's almost faster maybe
- 38:32this car is better with downforce going under
- 38:35the car i think one of the one of the commentators
- 38:38made a comment saying like that that because
- 38:40of how the downforce got changed that it might
- 38:43have actually affected how the graining happens
- 38:45on the tires and that it caused it actually extended
- 38:49his tire life a little bit so and so that might
- 38:51have helped him it might have actually worked
- 38:53to his benefit my incredibly amateur non -technical
- 38:56thinking behind this is that the side of the
- 38:59wing that was down was also on the tire that
- 39:02was going to take the most wear, and because
- 39:04air was not being flowed to it, it was being
- 39:06flowed under it, and therefore not being pressed
- 39:08down into the ground more. Can you pull up the
- 39:10thing on there? I thought it was his right tire.
- 39:13Pull it up. Why don't you pull it up? I want
- 39:15to see his broken wing. Everyone take a look
- 39:19at this. Pull it up. I feel like it was his right
- 39:22wing. I think it was his right tire that got
- 39:26broken. But maybe not, though. I think he was
- 39:28on the inside line and got hit by... Lewis. No,
- 39:31he hit Lewis. No, it was the left. He hit Lewis.
- 39:33No, I'm so sorry. You're totally right. It was
- 39:34the left side of the way. And I'm surprised Lewis
- 39:36didn't get a puncture from it, actually. Because
- 39:38he smacked the crap out of Lewis's rear wheel.
- 39:43And I'm surprised he did not get a puncture from
- 39:45that. Yeah. So they got lucky for that just to
- 39:47get DQ'd later. But, you know, whatever. It's
- 39:49right after this. Hold on. While we're looking
- 39:51for that, too, I forgot to mention Yuki out of
- 39:54his wing crumbling. Yeah, it's on the left. I
- 40:01stand corrected. That's why I put driver's side
- 40:06in air quotes. And that's how you know that we're
- 40:09the only ones that listen to our pod that drive
- 40:11from the left side. That's why it's funny. Thank
- 40:17you, Joe. Yeah, we're really catering towards
- 40:20a very specific audience. That's hilarious. Oh,
- 40:27the only other thing. Racing Bulls. Yuki on lap
- 40:3046, his wing exploded. Yes, we were talking about
- 40:33that. That was insane. That was crazy. That sucks.
- 40:37I think they just chalked it up to a load -bearing
- 40:39issue. I'm pretty sure Yuki was like, what did
- 40:40I hit? They're like, nothing. One of my favorite
- 40:44comms that we heard is like... Okay, Yuki, you've
- 40:47got wing damage. From what? From what? That was
- 40:54so funny. The way he said from what was like
- 40:56what? He's a little angry fella. He's actually
- 41:00not as angry this season. He's kind of fiery
- 41:02sometimes. He's been a lot more mellow this season.
- 41:04It's funny, though. It cracks me up. Oh, wow.
- 41:07I even had sprint notes. I should have looked
- 41:08at those. Awesome. Cool. prepared to go back
- 41:12to sprint uh no uh let's see to wrap up the recap
- 41:15real quick because this was again a long recap
- 41:18uh that was mclarey's mclarey mclarey's 50th
- 41:23i'm sorry 50th uh one two finish mclarey that's
- 41:26pretty cool yep that's awesome uh and then mercedes
- 41:29300th podium i didn't know that Very nice. Very
- 41:33nice. Very nice. Very nice. All right, Kev. I'm
- 41:38sorry. All right, let's go into this other. Oh,
- 41:40wait, we didn't have a transition for this one
- 41:42last time yet. We got to come up with that. Anyway,
- 41:44some good comms. What is Behrman's? I didn't
- 41:48see that one. Ciao. He overtook two people. He
- 41:52said ciao. And then he came out to the press
- 41:54after and apologized. He's like, I didn't realize
- 41:56those were being broadcasted. I'm sorry. That's
- 41:59funny. I love that. Who put in Lewis giving position
- 42:04to Leclerc? I also put that in. So this was a
- 42:06little slight controversy. Fred actually, their
- 42:08team principal, came out and mentioned it as
- 42:11well. Lewis did. And the commentator said this
- 42:15too. Lewis did say that he would give position
- 42:17to Leclerc, but they only broadcasted. radio
- 42:21messages after that made it seem like he was
- 42:23against it when that was not the case. So it
- 42:27put Lewis in a bad light. Fred came out and was
- 42:29like, I don't know why they're broadcasting this
- 42:31to create drama when there is none whatsoever.
- 42:35Because Lewis said, yeah, when he is closer is
- 42:36what they broadcast. Yeah. Yes. And right in
- 42:39your mind, he's like, he's not helping his teammate
- 42:41out. It's like, no, he just doesn't want to slow
- 42:44himself down, which is completely understandable.
- 42:46Yeah. So Fred Vasseur came out and was like,
- 42:49they're creating drama in the broadcast. and
- 42:50needs to stop like simply put and uh i don't
- 42:54know if you noticed but uh f1 the f1 youtube
- 42:56channel did actually release the whole the whole
- 42:59comms on youtube and they released it with like
- 43:02a note being like look we understand what happened
- 43:04we understand that people are upset about this
- 43:06we made a mistake um we'll keep this in mind
- 43:09moving forward here is the official comms Uncut
- 43:12from Ferrari. Don't pick and choose. Fred is
- 43:14a man of the people. We love Fred. We love Fred.
- 43:17Fun fact about Fred. Did you know he was Toto's
- 43:20best man at his wedding? I did not know that.
- 43:22Crazy, right? Wow. You know they're all close,
- 43:25but that close? That's pretty much buds. Let's
- 43:29see. You said Yuki from what? We talked about
- 43:32that one. I have another one from Yuki. It was
- 43:33early on in the race. I think this might have
- 43:36been pertaining to brake bias, maybe. I don't
- 43:39know. But Yuki said, I want to use more front.
- 43:43And they said, we don't want you to. And he said,
- 43:46well, I want to. And then they responded, do
- 43:48what you need to do. I forgot about that. That
- 43:52one cracked me up pretty hard. That's awesome.
- 43:55I'm going to start making notes of these because
- 43:57those are really good ones. I brought that one
- 43:59up when we were watching the race, too. And I
- 44:00was like, this is going to be my pick for the
- 44:02best competition. There was another one from
- 44:04Alex Albon that I did not get the quote yet.
- 44:07I got to find it somewhere because it was. It
- 44:10was funny. Now, again, I'd be curious what the
- 44:12whole thing, you know, like the situation, but
- 44:16engineer was pretty much telling Alex, uh, his
- 44:19tire condition. And he pretty much said that
- 44:21he is good and that he is better than everyone
- 44:24else. Oh, that was in the, that was in the sprint.
- 44:26Oh, that was the sprint. Yeah. Yeah. I have this
- 44:28in my GP notes. I remember, I remember seeing
- 44:31that. And he's like, he's like the. The engineer
- 44:35came on and was talking to him about his tire
- 44:37condition. And he goes, yeah, yeah, I get it,
- 44:39mate. My tires are great. They're better than
- 44:42everyone else or something like that. Yes. His
- 44:44exact quote, Alvin's race engineer spoke on the
- 44:48team radio and said, we're happy with the tires
- 44:49for now. But before he could finish his statement,
- 44:53Williams driver said, yeah, I'm good. I'm good.
- 44:55I am better than everyone. Let's react. I'm very
- 44:57comfortable. Yeah. And that is from F1 Overseer.
- 45:00I just love that I'm better than everyone. Obviously,
- 45:02he's talking about the tires, right? Yes. It's
- 45:04just funny how it came across like I'm better
- 45:06than everyone. That's funny. But all right, Kev,
- 45:10with that, let's head right into our news. So
- 45:26a really quick news. Dang, is my hat cockeyed?
- 45:29I can't tell. I think I think you're good. Oh,
- 45:32now it is. For you Spotify listeners, my hat
- 45:36is now corrected. Not much news. We already talked
- 45:39about Liam swapping, potentially. But FIA is
- 45:44considering V10s for 2028, but even possibly
- 45:49for 2026. Nope. That's pure insanity when you've
- 45:54got teams already developing engines, at least
- 45:55for 2026. Nope. I did not know that this was
- 46:00a thing until I saw this on the... Yeah. So this
- 46:04was like, this happened literally like, so this
- 46:07happened after actually this first started coming
- 46:09up. Um, the first rumblings happened like, uh,
- 46:13after they revealed all the cars and they did
- 46:15their reveal show and Ben Silliam went up and
- 46:18the FIA went up and they boot, they got booed.
- 46:20Right. And then afterwards, Ben Silliam was like,
- 46:22Hey guys, I'm cool. Right. I'll bring V10s back.
- 46:26Is that? The lore? Yeah. That's sick. And so
- 46:29that's why he's like, guys, I'm going to bring
- 46:32V10s back. Trust me. And now people are like
- 46:36talking about like, oh, could we get it, you
- 46:38know, 2028, 2030? Because, you know, we've got
- 46:41new engine regulations for 2026, right? And now
- 46:45there's talk about people being like, well, what
- 46:47if we did it for 2026? That's pure insanity.
- 46:51And all of like everything I've been seeing is
- 46:53like, no, why would they do that? They would
- 46:55literally need to scrap. Like the last year and
- 46:57a half of development on an engine. Your whole
- 46:59R &D. Zero by 2030? Yeah. How are you going to
- 47:02do that? No, you can't. No, you can't. Exactly.
- 47:04Your entire R &D department would just... But
- 47:07people are... The V10 defenders are trying to
- 47:10say, oh, well, V10 engines are easier to build
- 47:13and they're cheaper to build. Mechanically, they're
- 47:15easier than these hybrid engines, which are,
- 47:18you know... I mean... Which are more electronic
- 47:20-based, which is true. Yeah. It is true, but
- 47:24it's like... It's still an issue where it's an
- 47:27entirely new engine. It's an entirely new engine,
- 47:31and we're giving them less than a year to develop
- 47:33it. No chance. That's not fair. And especially
- 47:35when we've got multiple new teams coming in,
- 47:39like cars, like car developers. And part of the
- 47:43reason these car developers are here is to take
- 47:45the R &D back to their actual plants and use
- 47:48it. And if they're working on V10s... They got
- 47:51nothing. There's nothing for them to get out
- 47:53of the development. Speaking of that, the very
- 47:55little research I did do on that was Audi already
- 47:57saying that if that happens, we're not coming.
- 48:00I think one of their selling points, they mentioned
- 48:05Audi has offered the clearest indication yet
- 48:08that it is against Formula 1 abandoning its turbo
- 48:10hybrid engines. I think one of the selling points
- 48:13was Audi joining was because they could do a
- 48:15turbo hybrid engine and then it wasn't a huge
- 48:17big block. So it just... Interesting. Exactly.
- 48:22Is there an out in that contract, you think,
- 48:24though? I feel like Audi can find a way. Well,
- 48:26I'm sure. I think pretty much every team has
- 48:28to have an out if they really want or need one.
- 48:32Audi is developing their own engine, and they're
- 48:34like, we're not going to develop a V10 engine,
- 48:37which is then you have to take someone else's
- 48:39engine. We don't want to do that. Audi is like,
- 48:42yeah, we're not going to do that. The FIA really
- 48:45wants Audi on the grid because they're like,
- 48:48Audi brings a lot of fans in and Audi is like
- 48:50a big name. And like, so I think that's, that's
- 48:54the reason why I've like, as soon as you brought
- 48:55it up, I was like, Nope, Nope. It's not going
- 48:57to happen. Like, like we won't see, we won't
- 49:00see the V10 until like after 2030 minimum, bare
- 49:05minimum. You heard it here. Mike says. Not till
- 49:082030 on the V10. It's saying any move to the
- 49:11late 2026 rules would require unanimous support,
- 49:14which is not going to happen. There's no way.
- 49:17But, I mean, they're saying it's fully sustainable
- 49:20fuels for V10s as soon as 2028, 2029. It wouldn't
- 49:24be hard, yeah. Interesting. Ah, man. The fuel
- 49:27is already kind of there, honestly. Like, the
- 49:29fuel is there for the V10s. It wouldn't be too
- 49:32hard in the fuel aspect. But, like I said, they've
- 49:35already... We're just going to a new powertrain
- 49:37cycle. So we're going to have a new engine. All
- 49:40these teams have already started working on them.
- 49:42They're not going to throw away millions of dollars
- 49:45of development just to start from square one.
- 49:48For what? A louder engine? Yeah, right. It ruins
- 49:52my dreams of a Ford coming to F1 with an EcoBoost
- 49:59engine. Stop. Stop. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I
- 50:02have a theory that, or rather a prediction, that
- 50:05they could come and market it as EcoBoost, and
- 50:07it would be so funny if they did. Okay, copy.
- 50:10Chuckle, activate EcoBoost. I would just love
- 50:11to see EcoBoost decals. That's what I want to
- 50:14see. Yeah, I want to see. Because, I mean, like,
- 50:16it is, I mean, that's, they kind of already,
- 50:18like, I mean, it's very different from an F1
- 50:20engine, but they make a twin turbo V6 engine
- 50:23already. So it would make sense that they call
- 50:25it in some way an EcoBoost. Okay. It'd be dope.
- 50:29It'd be dope. Yeah, yeah. Dope isn't funny. If
- 50:32Ford would have joined, would you become a new
- 50:33Ford boy? Would this be your team? I don't know
- 50:37if Ford would be my team, but I would definitely.
- 50:39It'd add a hat to the collection. Yeah, I'd love
- 50:41to see Ford in it. I mean, they've been in F1
- 50:43before. Could you see it? I think they've won
- 50:45a championship for as well. At least one of their
- 50:49drivers has won a championship before in a Ford.
- 50:51So I would absolutely root for them. I just.
- 50:54I doubt they would join it, considering the route
- 50:57they're going with their production and the route
- 50:59they're going with their racing and stuff. I
- 51:01don't know if it really aligns very much. I would
- 51:04definitely support them, though, 100%. Could
- 51:07you see a team that joins the grid that would
- 51:10make you replace your McLaren hat? i don't think
- 51:13so um simply simply because mclaren yeah mclaren
- 51:17was already like even before f1 i had a lot of
- 51:19respect for mclaren okay um so when i joined
- 51:22it they were just an obvious pick for me okay
- 51:24fair yeah um i think if ford were in it when
- 51:27i started it'd probably be a little harder to
- 51:29choose between the two but yeah mclaren has always
- 51:32been um you know just in any racing discipline
- 51:36i've always gravitated toward them so Fiat. Valid.
- 51:39That's fiat for you? No, I'm just trying to start
- 51:42it out. That's okay. I mean, no judgments. Everybody's
- 51:45got their thing. No, what we're going to do is
- 51:47move on. Everyone's got their thing. We're not
- 51:49going to judge you here publicly. This is a safe
- 51:51case. All right, Kev, Kev. Let's move right on
- 51:55to our Japan GP preview. We are back with another
- 52:12preview into a race coming up. Not this weekend,
- 52:17but the weekend after. We're looking at Japan.
- 52:19I'm here to bring you up to speed. This upcoming
- 52:23Japanese Grand Prix is called the Formula One
- 52:26Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix 2025. A fun fact.
- 52:29This is my fun fact from last year. Only figure
- 52:31eight track on the calendar. This is a new fun
- 52:34fact. It was built by Honda in the 1960s as a
- 52:37test track. for their Honda cars. So that's pretty
- 52:42neat, right? All right, jumping into last year's
- 52:46Japan Grand Prix. Our starting grid was Max and
- 52:50Sergio, Red Bull 1 -2, and Lando to signs. Lights
- 52:56out. Both Red Bulls get a great start ahead of
- 52:58the McLaren and the Ferrari behind. Both sets
- 53:00of cars going side by side into the first corner.
- 53:03Meanwhile, further down the grid, we see a Williams
- 53:05and a V -Carb touch through a corner and both
- 53:08end up into the wall at the S's. This brings
- 53:10out an immediate red flag and retirement for
- 53:13Danny Rick and Albon. We were starting the third
- 53:17lap and the start was a copy and paste from the
- 53:19first one. Top five, no change for the first
- 53:21corners. This includes a little bit of a kerfuffle
- 53:23between our favorite Alpine team. yep a little
- 53:26bit of a kerfuffle between our favorite alpine
- 53:28teammates okan and gasly wheel the side pod on
- 53:31the starting straight we watch on lap 13 our
- 53:34next red bull driver yuki sanota overtake on
- 53:37alpine masterfully on the head hard corners of
- 53:40the s's very difficult overtaking spot making
- 53:43it look easy over the next 10 to 20 laps we see
- 53:46a lot of overtaking from our red bulls and from
- 53:48lando on the mercedes and the ferraris as they
- 53:51all run slightly different strategies from each
- 53:53other the ferrari signs overtakes the Mercedes
- 53:55in the lower end of the top 10 for a better position
- 53:58after pitting, followed by Piastri soon after.
- 54:01Mercedes on a long -running strategy compared
- 54:03to the rest of the top already having pit. On
- 54:06lap 26, Leclerc has a moment and goes off super
- 54:09wide on the turn before the overpass, quickly
- 54:12getting overtaken by Perez for his original spot
- 54:14and allowing Lander to quickly close the distance
- 54:16to third. If you are looking for a driver to
- 54:19watch this race, it is Yuki Tsunoda making the
- 54:21track his own, emphasizing on an amazing pit
- 54:24strategy which put him on the top of the middle
- 54:25pack and then fighting and overtaking again through
- 54:28the s's on hulkenberg for the last point place
- 54:34uh i had fun writing this next one logan sergeant
- 54:37finds some sand to play in on lap 42 coming out
- 54:40of the beach looking like he just built a sand
- 54:41castle and finds himself on the back of the pack
- 54:43two laps later science overtakes the mclaren
- 54:46of lando for fourth place after a late pit stop
- 54:49this isn't the end of his day however as on lap
- 54:5146 he makes the move on his teammate for a third
- 54:53the action does not stop as we watch russell
- 54:56go side by side piastri both fighting for the
- 54:58last corner before the straight and both having
- 55:00to bail out of a move piastri going off and eventually
- 55:03giving the position back to George on the final
- 55:06lap of the race on the straight. Our finals,
- 55:10Verstappen to Perez, a Red Bull 1 -2, Sainz to
- 55:13Leclerc, Norris to Alonso, Russell to Piastri,
- 55:16and Hamilton to Sonoda. Red Bull's last and most
- 55:19recent 1 -2 as of now. Wow, that's their last
- 55:241 -2? Yes. Yes, that early in the season. That
- 55:28does seem pretty wild. It's all downhill from
- 55:30there. But Checo did not do well after that.
- 55:33And Liam's not going to do much better. So, I
- 55:35mean, that's... And Yuki, again, doing so well.
- 55:39Liam's not doing better. Liam's... I know. I
- 55:41mean, Liam will do great in the V -carb. Yeah,
- 55:44right. Oh, man. And so will Max. Interesting.
- 55:50This is interesting. Not that it would affect
- 55:53my podium if Yuki was in the Red Bull, but it
- 55:56would be fun. Points turned out last weekend.
- 55:59Yeah, I bet you want to talk about points, huh?
- 56:01I actually, with like three laps left, I was
- 56:05like, dang, I got to look at my points. I'm curious
- 56:08if I did actually take these guys. I was like,
- 56:11I'm pretty sure I cleaned house. Second race
- 56:13of the season, a perfect podium prediction. A
- 56:16perfect six. Perfect six. Congratulations. That's
- 56:21amazing. Yeah, I mean, I got nothing. Yeah, I
- 56:25was lucky. No, but I mean, I also, I took the,
- 56:29no, I did not take the same podium in Australia.
- 56:31I had Charles up there, but after the Australia
- 56:35race where McLaren should have been 1 -2, I was
- 56:38like, you know what? Yeah, and Mercedes just
- 56:41seems like they're better than Ferrari at the
- 56:43moment. So, okay. So, that's how I came up with
- 56:45that one. That's the strategy, you know. So now
- 56:48you have the secret sauce. I think George does
- 56:51look good here. I think he did pretty well given
- 56:54the car last season. What did you say? He finished
- 56:55P6. He finished P7, 8, 9. He finished P7. Yeah,
- 57:01but given the car, that Mercedes was not hot
- 57:05at the beginning of last year. Yeah. And he finished
- 57:08two places ahead of Lewis. I mean, I could see
- 57:13him do well. So what is our total right now?
- 57:18All right, so one of you two has got to go first.
- 57:20No, you've got to go first. I've got to go first?
- 57:22Yeah, you're the leader. That's how that works.
- 57:23You can't just pass it to me this week again.
- 57:26Slow your roll. I'm not used to leading. Okay,
- 57:30I don't know how it works. This is a new podcast.
- 57:33This is my first time. Okay, do I do my whole
- 57:37podium? I mean, talk through it, you know? Okay,
- 57:40yeah. Well, Lando's going to win this week. Okay.
- 57:44To go with my... They're going to keep switching
- 57:46and they don't really know who's going to actually
- 57:49be number one. Okay. So since I went perfect
- 58:01last week, I'm going to go crazy this week, right?
- 58:04Yeah. That's up to you. Makes it easier for me.
- 58:06Put Yuki up in your podium. Oscar is not on my
- 58:11podium at all. Okay. I'm going Lando. Charles
- 58:16Max. Okay. I don't hate that podium. Ferrari
- 58:20eventually is going to be getting podiums. So
- 58:22that's locked in. And it's going to be soon.
- 58:23That's locked in. I'm done. So that's locked
- 58:24in. I don't think Charles is touching the podium.
- 58:27It's going to happen soon. I don't think. It
- 58:29will happen soon. Now, second place is. I don't
- 58:31know about that. Yeah, that was a crazy call.
- 58:33Yeah, yeah. But I like it. I like it. Yeah, it'll
- 58:38be interesting. Max will be on the podium this
- 58:40week. You know, I feel like I owe you an apology,
- 58:44by the way. Why? Because last week, Joe and I
- 58:48were like, now tell me why you think Max won't
- 58:50be on the podium. And when we were watching the
- 58:53race, I commented on that. And then Max fell
- 58:56back to fourth and George was holding third.
- 58:58And I was like, oh. I would personally like to
- 59:01apologize. I called you delusional. I'm sorry.
- 59:06Well, it appears I have the same amount of memory
- 59:10as a dog. So I have apparently forgotten how
- 59:15rude you guys were. So I'll have to go back and
- 59:17listen again. Or unless this is in messages,
- 59:20then I have it forever. Thank goodness we didn't
- 59:23say anything in DMs. Oh, boy. We're clean. All
- 59:28right. One of you guys got to go. Who's going?
- 59:30I think I'll go because you took it last time
- 59:33around. Nope. No? You don't think so? I'm going
- 59:43to duplicate my podium from last weekend. Lando
- 59:48Oscar Max. Lando Oscar Max? Yeah. I actually
- 59:51do think Charles could get on the podium. You
- 59:55know what? Let's do Lando Oscar, Charles. Let's
- 59:57do Lando Oscar. I do think Charles could maybe
- 59:59make it to the podium. Max has always been...
- 1:00:02Hold on. Don't put that in that third spot yet.
- 1:00:04Lando Oscar right now is all I got on there.
- 1:00:06Who are you going to put in? Wouldn't you like
- 1:00:09to know? I would love to know. It's not going
- 1:00:11to be Charles. You're just talking crap on Charles.
- 1:00:12He was not saying Charles. It's true. So that
- 1:00:14could be a good opportunity to get a leg up on
- 1:00:16him. But I mean, with how we have it set up,
- 1:00:19if he's not in the podium, I just don't get a
- 1:00:21point. That's crazy. Man, you know? I don't.
- 1:00:28Let's do Lando Oscar Max. I think that's probably
- 1:00:31my best option. Locked. Let's talk about our
- 1:00:36winner and why it's going to be Yuki Tsunoda.
- 1:00:38No, no, no. Don't you write that down. Boy, it
- 1:00:46would be interesting, though. So you said Lando,
- 1:00:48and you said Oscar's not in your podium at all.
- 1:00:50He's not. He's going to be P4. Back -to -back
- 1:00:53Oscar wins? Is that what's happening this weekend?
- 1:00:56No. Ooh, maybe. That would be wicked. No way.
- 1:01:00Not going to happen. He's pretty quick. You locking
- 1:01:02it? Put Oscar in first. Locking it. That's kind
- 1:01:06of what I was thinking. I wanted to go opposite
- 1:01:08of him. Yeah. I want to go opposite of Smelty.
- 1:01:12And here comes Ol' Khan. Yeah. No, don't be silly.
- 1:01:14Yuki Tsunoda. No, I'm kidding. It's going to
- 1:01:17be Max. Oh, boy. Is it going to be Max? No, George
- 1:01:19Russell. yeah that's probably for the that's
- 1:01:21probably safe honestly honestly i said it i said
- 1:01:24it as soon as we went in i was like i was like
- 1:01:27george russell did look pretty good on this track
- 1:01:29last year given the car and we see how he's racing
- 1:01:31right now right off the rip ski that's okay oh
- 1:01:34wait yeah once you if you add them all then it
- 1:01:36should it'll yeah it'll settle so who's three
- 1:01:38i'm sorry i missed george george george russell
- 1:01:40george i think that's a good pick yeah yeah i
- 1:01:43bet you would Hey, George has gotten me a bunch
- 1:01:46of points this season. Actually, George is the
- 1:01:48only one. George has gotten you all your points.
- 1:01:51Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, George has been good
- 1:01:53for me. Man, George is a good pick, I think.
- 1:01:56Actually, George has gotten you half of your
- 1:01:58points this season. I know. I just realized.
- 1:02:00Yeah, he really has. He's got literally four
- 1:02:02of your eight points. And I'm deciding to leave
- 1:02:04him off my podium. Why? Which is hilarious. Too
- 1:02:07late. No backsies. Oh, no, no. He's mine. You
- 1:02:09can't take him from me. I'm not confident in
- 1:02:11Charles getting second, but I'm confident in
- 1:02:13Charles getting on the podium. I am more confident
- 1:02:15on Charles getting on the podium than Max right
- 1:02:17now. Wow. Yeah, I'm still on the Max train. That's
- 1:02:21fine. I think this will probably be the last
- 1:02:23weekend I'm on the Max train. I guess he's only
- 1:02:25got one aisle. What happened? I don't know. Max?
- 1:02:28I guess I put a post -it note on there on X.
- 1:02:30It was just getting too easy for him to drive,
- 1:02:32so he drives with one eye on it. Cyclops Verstappen.
- 1:02:34He's trying to make it a challenge. I do think
- 1:02:37if Max doesn't podium. Well, he got fourth, though.
- 1:02:42I have a right to put him on my podium, I still
- 1:02:46think, but there comes a point of diminishing
- 1:02:49returns where I'm like, Max is not a viable option
- 1:02:51anymore. He was five seconds behind George. Five
- 1:02:56seconds behind George? Yeah. You're locked, son.
- 1:02:59George started second, though. George did start
- 1:03:01second. That is a good point. I think I'm okay.
- 1:03:04I'm okay with that. I'm just, I'm no, I'm not
- 1:03:06changing anything. I'm just saying for future,
- 1:03:08for future predictions. The thing is like, I,
- 1:03:11I'm really, I respect the Ferraris, but like
- 1:03:14they were still not, they were not up there.
- 1:03:16Their pace is on the way. It's on the way. It's
- 1:03:18on the way. I will agree. I am convinced that
- 1:03:20Ferrari will be in from here. Two to three. I'm
- 1:03:24convinced Ferrari will be in the battle. Two
- 1:03:25to three weeks shipping. At some point. U .S.
- 1:03:27Postal. Pace will arrive. If it does not, please
- 1:03:32call us back. Maybe those severe, not penalties,
- 1:03:37but those rule changes. Maybe Mercedes and McLaren
- 1:03:40just drop. God, I hope that's not the case. Maybe
- 1:03:42it's the Al Haas. That'd be crazy. I actually,
- 1:03:45so I heard, I heard, so I actually heard something.
- 1:03:47I heard something that's got me mortified. I
- 1:03:52like my, my gut fell out of my butt when I heard
- 1:03:55about this. Oh no. It was like, I heard that.
- 1:03:58Yeah. Yeah. I didn't go into the doctor. Uh,
- 1:04:01it was, I heard that, uh, Haas has apparently
- 1:04:03been very much so benefiting from this flexi
- 1:04:06win. And I'm like, I'm like, if that's the case,
- 1:04:12I'm like, I'm like, We're doomed. P19, P20. Yeah,
- 1:04:16P9 might be real. P19, P20. I'm like, oh, no.
- 1:04:20So I really hope that that's not the case and
- 1:04:23that they are not relying off of us. And if it
- 1:04:25is the case, you're going to order a Cadillac
- 1:04:27hat. No. Start prepping. No, Adi comes in next
- 1:04:30year. He's going to go full out. His outfit is
- 1:04:33changing next year. Oh, it's a full out. He said
- 1:04:35that he's like, I'm a McLaren guy. In every racing
- 1:04:40game I've ever played, I've always snapped to
- 1:04:42Adi. Oh, snap. Okay, so now we'll have an Audi
- 1:04:44guy. And you're still going to have room in your
- 1:04:46heart for Haas. Yeah, Haas will be my second
- 1:04:48team, for sure. And then Aston, you're dropping
- 1:04:50him. Aston will be not in my top three. They
- 1:04:53fall out of the podium. Not in your top three?
- 1:04:55Oh, McLaren. McLaren, yeah, McLaren. I love McLaren.
- 1:04:58And I like the drivers. I like... I like the
- 1:05:03manufacturer for McLaren. If they don't win this
- 1:05:05WDC, I'm trading it. It's done. I'm hanging up
- 1:05:08the hat. This is a one -sided relationship. I'm
- 1:05:11not going to get anything out of this. I look
- 1:05:14like an idiot. Oh, man. Mike, thanks for being
- 1:05:17here this week. Thank you for having me. Glad
- 1:05:19you were able to make it. He was a game -time
- 1:05:21decision, by the way. Yeah, that was crazy. And
- 1:05:23the decision was that he was going to be here,
- 1:05:25which was awesome. Yeah, I try to be here as
- 1:05:27much as I can. Yeah, heck yeah. Thank my boss.
- 1:05:29Yep, thank you, Mike's boss. Shout out Mike's
- 1:05:32boss. Jake or something. Tyler. Looking at you,
- 1:05:35Tyler. I want to make sure Tyler watches this
- 1:05:38now. There's a lot of Tylers. Too many. Joe,
- 1:05:41obviously you were here this week. Awesome. That's
- 1:05:46true. You do only know me. No, I do. Actually,
- 1:05:49what's funny is that I started calling you Tyler
- 1:05:52this week. That's cool. Thanks for doing the
- 1:05:56bare minimum, I guess. Thanks for doing up to
- 1:06:01speed. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Yeah.
- 1:06:06Let's. Yeah. Awesome. Joe's going back. Texting
- 1:06:09mom again. Mom. Oh, he's calling you this time.
- 1:06:14I've been waiting for an hour. Oh, shoot. Oh,
- 1:06:18my God. Smelty, thank you for hosting and being
- 1:06:21here. Yeah. No, I feel like we don't thank you.
- 1:06:23Obviously. Obviously. I know you have a choice.
- 1:06:26And you choose to be here. We don't actually
- 1:06:28give him a choice. We tie him up. And we keep
- 1:06:30him chained up over in that direction. He's actually
- 1:06:32sitting here all the time. He doesn't leave the
- 1:06:34chair. I don't move. I've grown one with the
- 1:06:36chair. We do bring him food and water. Once a
- 1:06:39day at least. Well, someone does, I think. I
- 1:06:42don't. I just assumed someone does. Don't forget
- 1:06:50to like, comment, subscribe wherever you listen
- 1:06:52to the banter, whether that's YouTube, Spotify,
- 1:06:54Apple Podcasts, or iHeartRadio. And we will see
- 1:06:58you not next week. We have next week off. But
- 1:07:01the week after that, after the Japanese GP, where
- 1:07:04Yuki will win his home race, potentially, and
- 1:07:07none of us picked him. To give a quick plug for
- 1:07:10a different banter, you might still see us next
- 1:07:13week, but somewhere else. So keep an eye out
- 1:07:15for that. Where else are they going to see us?
- 1:07:16I mean, same channel, just a different name.
- 1:07:19We might not be doing festivals next week, but
- 1:07:21we might do something else. A little bit of testing.
- 1:07:23We might post our testing. Yeah. We'll see how
- 1:07:26it goes. I mean, is Bahrain testing, is that
- 1:07:29videotaped? For the most part, yeah. We did preseason.
- 1:07:33Yeah, whatever. Anyway, let's get out of here.
- 1:07:38Let's go. Goodbye, everybody. Thanks for coming.
- 1:07:42Don't forget to follow, like, and subscribe.
- 1:07:46Tune in next time for more banter with the boys.
