- 0:14Speaker 2: Happy Yulele. We just wanted to issue the very happiest holiday.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We are here to recap Sister Wives, honey, but we
- 0:25Speaker 2: got to start with just a message of love and
- 0:27Speaker 2: light in this holiday season.
- 0:29Speaker 3: We love you, record, We heart you so much.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Now, before we get into the recap, we do have
- 0:34Speaker 2: to issue you a dirty little disclaimer. Please hide your
- 0:38Speaker 2: wife and hide your kids. This is a politically incorrect podcast,
- 0:43Speaker 2: which simply means we say stupid things. We say a
- 0:47Speaker 2: lot of bad words a lot. Beatrice is like a lot.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We have dumb opinions, and we are thoroughly unapologetic.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 3: So, if your sen's get out of here.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Already, I want to find yourself another dumpster. But if
- 1:03Speaker 2: you're ready to sit down with Cody, Christine and David
- 1:07Speaker 2: to experience the most awkward conversation I've seen on television
- 1:11Speaker 2: in quite some time, then welcome to this dumpster.
- 1:16Speaker 3: And I feel like what we do over here. Please
- 1:18Speaker 3: be sure to follow us on Instagram at Reality tv
- 1:20Speaker 3: Cringe and join us on Patreon Patreon dot com Sash
- 1:23Speaker 3: Reality TV Cringe. We just started our coverage of Low
- 1:26Speaker 3: Women La over there and we're having a lot of
- 1:30Speaker 3: fun and plus we have like a little Christmas special
- 1:32Speaker 3: coming out this week. So yes, you'll definitely want to
- 1:34Speaker 3: join us in the VIP dumpster.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Absolutely, And if you are watching on YouTube, please do
- 1:40Speaker 2: not forget to like and comment and share and subscribe
- 1:44Speaker 2: and also.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Hype us up. Like yes, I think.
- 1:46Speaker 2: We had over one hundred thousand hype points. Yeah, girl,
- 1:49Speaker 2: last week I was feeling special because some of these
- 1:53Speaker 2: bigger content creators didn't have nearly as many high points
- 1:56Speaker 2: as we had.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Allegedly it helps us in the algorithm.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You guys so much. Please don't stop.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Thank you in it's there.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Thank you now.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Before we get into benevolence, bitch, I do have to
- 2:08Speaker 2: ask you, Beatrice, whether you had any takeaways from this episode.
- 2:13Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 2:15Speaker 3: My takeaway is I'm actually kind of living for David
- 2:18Speaker 3: calling out Cody a little bit with not talking to
- 2:21Speaker 3: his children and Cody getting all mad about it, so defensive,
- 2:24Speaker 3: so triggered very much, so I loved that. My takeaway
- 2:28Speaker 3: is that I have this eternal burning question about Christine's eyebrows.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Maybe it's my television, you guys, let me know, but
- 2:37Speaker 3: they look green green. They're like an ashy kind of blonde,
- 2:42Speaker 3: Like she's definitely got a pencil. She's penciling the kind
- 2:46Speaker 3: of look a little green.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Tinted and very odd.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Every single woman on this cast has bad eyebrows, busted
- 2:55Speaker 2: out eyebrows.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I mean, true, though, I don't think there's a single
- 2:58Speaker 3: good one.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Maybe you know, maybe I don't know. I
- 3:02Speaker 2: can't really remember that.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I mean, I don't think she colors them in though,
- 3:05Speaker 3: so that's probably why we don't really notice them. But
- 3:07Speaker 3: like Robin's are horrible, Mary's.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Mars are so bad, Christine Christine's so worst brows. That's
- 3:14Speaker 2: my only take away.
- 3:15Speaker 3: What's wrong with green hair? Though?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Nothing? No, no, no, I love it. On you the Emerald,
- 3:19Speaker 2: it's shocking, it's vibrant. But on Christine's eyebrows, it's just waggy.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Look it's wiggedy whack.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Did you see her little ankle tattoo too?
- 3:30Speaker 1: I did.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I was like, what is that?
- 3:31Speaker 2: And I saw like a new tat on David's arm,
- 3:34Speaker 2: which is kind of cool. They're into the tattoos.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Hey, you know yellow.
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's right.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Well, without further ado, let's get into this week's recap
- 3:44Speaker 2: of Sister Wives Season twenty, episode thirteen, Yeah, entitled Benevolent's Bitch.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Okay, take it away, Beatrice.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Well, we start off wrapping up the whole fake ass
- 3:54Speaker 3: apology to Cody or from Cody to Christine and d
- 4:00Speaker 3: if it's there, and this was kind of juicy. There
- 4:03Speaker 3: was like some tidbits and stuff in here, like what well,
- 4:06Speaker 3: like with David calling out Cody. Like so, Cody starts
- 4:09Speaker 3: off saying, Christine, I really want to apologize for saying
- 4:13Speaker 3: that I didn't love you, because I actually did love you,
- 4:15Speaker 3: and like what we had it's like super duper special
- 4:18Speaker 3: and stuff like a storm in a sunset. It was
- 4:20Speaker 3: like really great, you know, And I just like want
- 4:22Speaker 3: to move on now, and like let's just be kind.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Of I want you to heal.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you're clearly so broken after what I did to
- 4:28Speaker 2: you and after what you've lost when our marriage broke
- 4:31Speaker 2: apart exactly, so I want you to be okay.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Are you okay?
- 4:34Speaker 3: Han?
- 4:34Speaker 2: Are you all right? Christine's like I'm happier than I
- 4:37Speaker 2: have ever been. What are you even talking about? This
- 4:39Speaker 2: is inappropro.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It's so inappropro. And it's like Christine and her talking
- 4:44Speaker 3: head keep saying, you know, I'm with a whole ass man.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Now I've moved on. I'm the one that's responsible for
- 4:52Speaker 3: my closure, Like I don't need Cody giving me closure
- 4:56Speaker 3: or trying to apologize and helping me heal. So Cody
- 5:01Speaker 3: is just coming out here. It's like narking out.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Very presumptuous.
- 5:04Speaker 2: He's definitely narking out, like thinking that you can dispense
- 5:08Speaker 2: from on high my healing process because through your love
- 5:12Speaker 2: for me, I can feel better about myself. Like, get
- 5:15Speaker 2: out of here, Cody, you're crazy.
- 5:18Speaker 1: He's nuts.
- 5:18Speaker 3: He really says something too, like if you want real healing,
- 5:22Speaker 3: just hear my apology. Like you want the healing, just
- 5:26Speaker 3: let me say sorry and then it'll be there. And
- 5:27Speaker 3: I'm like, dude, you're crazy.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It's nuts.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And then David does pipe in and asks Cody if
- 5:35Speaker 2: he can give him a little bit of advice, and
- 5:37Speaker 2: already you can see Cody's emotions shudder, like he definitely
- 5:42Speaker 2: shuts down. He doesn't want to hear from David, making
- 5:46Speaker 2: me wonder, then why did you invite him? Because you
- 5:49Speaker 2: included David, and you obviously built in this whack ass
- 5:52Speaker 2: speed racer montage thing that we're gonna have to go.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So obviously David is supposed to be a part of this,
- 5:59Speaker 2: but like he's not supposed to speak like it's just
- 6:02Speaker 2: what has happened to Cody Brown. He's so arrogant, he's
- 6:06Speaker 2: so aw does he think he is?
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't know, And it was making me wonder. When
- 6:12Speaker 3: he had his whole conversation with Janelle, I think he
- 6:14Speaker 3: felt super confident. He's like, oh, yeah, people are totally
- 6:17Speaker 3: gonna buy this, They're totally gonna think that I'm sincere
- 6:21Speaker 3: and it's gonna go over really well. But then when
- 6:23Speaker 3: it came with Christine, I think he was already on
- 6:25Speaker 3: the defensive because I don't think he likes Christine, and
- 6:28Speaker 3: I think when she left, like we've talked about before
- 6:30Speaker 3: on the pod many many times, when she left, he
- 6:33Speaker 3: was super hurt. It was a total narcissistic injury, like
- 6:36Speaker 3: how dare you be the one to leave me? Cody
- 6:39Speaker 3: the Brown? So I think he was like already on edge.
- 6:43Speaker 3: And then when David is like, can I give you
- 6:45Speaker 3: some advice? Though, then it just was like gloves are off, well, yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 3: and I feel like David was coming to it with
- 6:54Speaker 3: like good intentions. He's like, you know, I've literally been
- 6:56Speaker 3: in your shoes, and it's really hard to have to
- 6:59Speaker 3: repair those relations with your kids. And it's not just
- 7:02Speaker 3: on your terms, it's on their terms too, and sometimes
- 7:05Speaker 3: it can take a long time to understand. And you know,
- 7:08Speaker 3: you can just drop the mask and drop the shell.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And Cody, rather than take that as like a nice
- 7:16Speaker 3: kind gesture from one father to another, Cody's like, you
- 7:19Speaker 3: don't know what you're.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Talking about, right, You don't know anything about polygamy.
- 7:23Speaker 3: You don't understand shit, you don't know who.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I am as a person, my god. And then we
- 7:27Speaker 2: get the interstitial with David in which he's like, I
- 7:30Speaker 2: actually know a lot about polygamy, and you don't know
- 7:33Speaker 2: anything about me. And also I'm the one who's hanging
- 7:35Speaker 2: out with all of your kids, and so I see
- 7:38Speaker 2: the impact firsthand of what this is doing to your children.
- 7:41Speaker 2: But I guess you don't care because you don't want
- 7:44Speaker 2: to hear anything I have to say, not at all.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And then he even lies and he says, well, there
- 7:48Speaker 3: is effort being made on my part to repair the relationships,
- 7:52Speaker 3: which we know is a bunch of bullshit. And I
- 7:54Speaker 3: think David and Christine not it'es a bunch of bullshit too,
- 7:57Speaker 3: because they are around all of the kids who don't
- 7:59Speaker 3: have a relationship with Cody. And then Cody says something
- 8:02Speaker 3: like the deterioration happened as a party. It wasn't just
- 8:07Speaker 3: about what I did or what I said that was offensive.
- 8:10Speaker 3: And then he literally like he leans in like he
- 8:12Speaker 3: does with Sukiana and everybody else, all condescendingly, like do
- 8:16Speaker 3: you understand that, David?
- 8:18Speaker 1: Do you get that?
- 8:20Speaker 3: God? I hate him so much.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I don't like him at all. He's clearly very insecure
- 8:25Speaker 2: in the presence of another man, Oh for sure. And
- 8:28Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever had somebody apologize to
- 8:31Speaker 2: you but like not make any space for you to
- 8:35Speaker 2: have some sort of a reply, Like somebody who's done
- 8:38Speaker 2: something to you understands it, wants to repair the relationship
- 8:41Speaker 2: for whatever reason. But then when they apologize, they cannot
- 8:45Speaker 2: hear anything that you have to say in a reaction. Yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 2: and so it's really just about them performing an apology.
- 8:51Speaker 2: They don't really mean it. They're just trying to get
- 8:53Speaker 2: something out of you, and I think in this instance,
- 8:56Speaker 2: that's exactly what's happening with Cody. I think he's trying
- 8:59Speaker 2: to get something out of Christine and David, primarily content
- 9:03Speaker 2: because he wants to keep this ravy train going. But
- 9:06Speaker 2: I know I'm endlessly reminding everybody, but like they are
- 9:09Speaker 2: currently at the time of this filming, embroiled in a lawsuit,
- 9:13Speaker 2: and I think he wants to get on better footing
- 9:15Speaker 2: with Christine. Yeah, so she doesn't ultimately open up his
- 9:18Speaker 2: books and the Elsie accounting to figure out how much
- 9:22Speaker 2: money he actually took, how much money he actually makes.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And so I do think he's doing this with an
- 9:28Speaker 2: ulterior motive. And you can tell because there's no real
- 9:31Speaker 2: charity in his heart. He's not there to really mend anything.
- 9:34Speaker 1: No, and he's.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Super defensive the entire time. He's literally saying over and
- 9:39Speaker 3: over again, like the kids are not hurt because of
- 9:41Speaker 3: anything I did, It was because of what all of
- 9:45Speaker 3: us did. So again not taking full ownership, sitting in
- 9:49Speaker 3: the full weight of everything that he has said and
- 9:51Speaker 3: done to everybody. And then it's like in his talking
- 9:55Speaker 3: head he's talking about how he needs to forgive himself
- 10:00Speaker 3: for being angry at the og wives, especially Christine and Mary,
- 10:05Speaker 3: and how he is still feeling awkward, but he just
- 10:09Speaker 3: wants to move on. He just wants everything to be
- 10:11Speaker 3: okay and cordial and fine, because we know that the
- 10:14Speaker 3: lawsuit is going on, and that's the whole theme of
- 10:17Speaker 3: this whole entire thing. Really is like him just saying
- 10:21Speaker 3: sorry for the cameras so that way he can point
- 10:23Speaker 3: to it and be like, it's on record though I
- 10:26Speaker 3: said sorry, I care, I'm a good person.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I really get the impression that Cody actually doesn't give
- 10:33Speaker 2: a shit about his kids.
- 10:34Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Like anytime the subject comes up, even if it's Robin
- 10:39Speaker 2: and it's a script, he's still resistant to reaching out,
- 10:43Speaker 2: making content contact and healing these relationships. He says he's
- 10:47Speaker 2: doing it, but of course we learned from Leon that
- 10:50Speaker 2: Cody's actually not reaching out.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yep.
- 10:54Speaker 2: They have not heard from Cody in a really long time,
- 10:57Speaker 2: so this is all a lie.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And I'm just like, why don't.
- 10:58Speaker 2: You love your kids?
- 11:00Speaker 1: I can't imagine.
- 11:01Speaker 3: He's like so butt hurt that they're mad at him
- 11:04Speaker 3: for anything, because I really don't think that he thinks
- 11:08Speaker 3: he did anything wrong. He's saying stuff like, oh, I'm
- 11:11Speaker 3: willing to hold space. I'm willing to listen. It doesn't
- 11:14Speaker 3: mean anything.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I'm willing to sit there while you guys display your
- 11:18Speaker 2: emotions and apologize to me and kiss my ring. I'm
- 11:21Speaker 2: willing to give you an audience. I just don't understand
- 11:24Speaker 2: what he's talking about. When he says I'm willing to
- 11:26Speaker 2: hold space.
- 11:27Speaker 3: It's just like pseudo therapy speak. He's trying to portray like, Oh,
- 11:31Speaker 3: I've done all of this work, I've done all this yealing,
- 11:34Speaker 3: But he hasn't done shit.
- 11:35Speaker 1: He's still mad.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he's so many he's still punitive. He's not talking
- 11:39Speaker 2: to his kids, yea. And he doesn't mean these apologies
- 11:41Speaker 2: except for maybe with Janelle.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Right, And like as a kid of divorce, like shit
- 11:47Speaker 3: gets messy, and like parents are dealing with a lot
- 11:50Speaker 3: of emotions, Like they're dealing with the emotions of the
- 11:52Speaker 3: divorce and the breakup of separating all the assets, and
- 11:54Speaker 3: then dealing with their children's emotions which are going to
- 11:57Speaker 3: be convoluted and complex, and there's like lots of things,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and sometimes the kids are blaming one parent over the other,
- 12:04Speaker 3: and then that parent takes that personally and it becomes
- 12:07Speaker 3: a big old mess, and I get that. But rather
- 12:10Speaker 3: than go to therapy and like learn all of that
- 12:14Speaker 3: and understand that, Cody is just going to take all
- 12:17Speaker 3: of it personally and take it out on his children.
- 12:21Speaker 3: So when David is trying to say is maybe you
- 12:24Speaker 3: should apologize to your kids, maybe you should have an
- 12:27Speaker 3: apology tour with all of them. That would probably be
- 12:31Speaker 3: way more beneficial because all of the other wives have
- 12:33Speaker 3: moved on and they don't give a book about you
- 12:35Speaker 3: at all. They separated their assets, they're done. But Cody
- 12:39Speaker 3: doesn't hear that as what it's like, the intention of that.
- 12:44Speaker 3: He just hears that as like David trying to talk shit.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Or to tell him what to do. Yeah, and there's
- 12:49Speaker 2: no man that's going to tell Cody Brown what to do.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And he gets all defensive and he says something really
- 12:54Speaker 3: crazy here where he's like, well, I think you guys
- 12:56Speaker 3: need to stay out of my relationship with my children
- 12:58Speaker 3: because otherwise it's like triangulation.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Like he learned a new word and you could tell
- 13:05Speaker 2: he wanted to expand upon it and teach him what
- 13:07Speaker 2: that word meant, but they just kept talking and they
- 13:09Speaker 2: didn't let him do that.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Which I did love.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, me too, I did love. Okay, whatever triangulation, he
- 13:15Speaker 2: doesn't care forever wanting to blame Christine for bad mouthing
- 13:18Speaker 2: him to his kids. Now, do we think that Christine
- 13:21Speaker 2: did that?
- 13:22Speaker 3: Probably a little, but I don't think she did it
- 13:25Speaker 3: like in a malicious way to try and turn them
- 13:28Speaker 3: against their father. I think those kids saw what their
- 13:30Speaker 3: dad was doing and they went and talked to their
- 13:34Speaker 3: mom about it, and their mom was like, yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's happening.
- 13:37Speaker 2: That's totally can't see it happening. But I'm just wondering
- 13:39Speaker 2: if like she sat around and talked about Cody and
- 13:43Speaker 2: then maybe somebody like Michelty ran back and told Cody,
- 13:46Speaker 2: because it's something he's constantly bringing up and this week
- 13:50Speaker 2: he's using this term triangulation because he's learned it. But
- 13:53Speaker 2: I just feel like that is sticking in his craw
- 13:56Speaker 2: and I just wonder if it was McKelty that like
- 14:00Speaker 2: the problem there probably, do you know what I mean?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I could totally see that. I don't know.
- 14:05Speaker 3: It's like hard for me because like when my parents
- 14:07Speaker 3: split up, Like I'm not gonna say who, but my
- 14:11Speaker 3: parents were totally talking shit to us kids about each other,
- 14:14Speaker 3: and so then it.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Caused like Hi, Beatrice's dad, he watches our pod from
- 14:18Speaker 2: time to time.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Hey, dad, he knows the story and everything. But like
- 14:23Speaker 3: you know, it caused issues, but ultimately, like as we
- 14:27Speaker 3: grew up, like we were able to talk about it
- 14:30Speaker 3: as adults and come to an understanding and yeah, there
- 14:33Speaker 3: were like some hurt feelings and stuff, but you ultimately
- 14:36Speaker 3: you have to like let some of that go as
- 14:39Speaker 3: just like that's just part of the divorce. But Cody,
- 14:42Speaker 3: being the narcissist that he is, he can't handle that.
- 14:45Speaker 3: He cannot handle being the villain in anyone's story, Like
- 14:50Speaker 3: he has to be always the victim. He has to
- 14:53Speaker 3: be this really good guy. Like no, like I was
- 14:55Speaker 3: a good dad, It was a good husband.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Wasn't just me?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Everybody?
- 14:58Speaker 2: Everyone else?
- 14:59Speaker 1: We have to share in the blame.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Why why why can't the buck stop here? Exactly the dad,
- 15:04Speaker 2: you're the patriarch. It should stop with you. You should
- 15:06Speaker 2: take one hundred percent accountability for what's happened in your family,
- 15:10Speaker 2: and your entire family has been blown apart. Yep, it
- 15:13Speaker 2: doesn't really matter who did what, who said what, and
- 15:15Speaker 2: when they said it. It should stop with you exactly,
- 15:18Speaker 2: but he cannot bring himself to take responsibility. He's an
- 15:22Speaker 2: odious little leprechaun of a man.
- 15:25Speaker 3: He's a terrible excuse for a man and a father.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And Like, when I watch these episodes, it gets me
- 15:31Speaker 3: so triggered because I'm just like, how can you act
- 15:35Speaker 3: like this when all you have so many fucking kids
- 15:38Speaker 3: that again I say this every week, didn't ask to
- 15:41Speaker 3: be born, didn't ask to be in this family, didn't
- 15:44Speaker 3: ask to have you as their dad, And yet you're
- 15:46Speaker 3: acting like this. And then what are you gonna do
- 15:49Speaker 3: when you like die, when you're on your deathbed, you
- 15:52Speaker 3: have no kids around you because they all fucking hate you.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Well, you'll have Aurora, sure he'll have, but little Ari
- 15:59Speaker 2: and Saw I would imagine, but still have Robin. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 2: but he won't have most of his children there. I
- 16:05Speaker 2: don't think he's going to even care. I think he's
- 16:08Speaker 2: so thoroughly unconscious. I do think that there are some
- 16:11Speaker 2: people that we share this planet with that are entirely
- 16:15Speaker 2: animated by their ego. They can never get out of
- 16:18Speaker 2: their own perception of self, what they need, what they want.
- 16:21Speaker 2: They can't see it like the rest of us can
- 16:23Speaker 2: actually see it. I think Cody is one of those
- 16:26Speaker 2: unconscious people. It is really hard to wake somebody like
- 16:30Speaker 2: that up. You do need intensive therapy, but you have
- 16:33Speaker 2: to start with the knowledge that there's a problem in
- 16:35Speaker 2: the first place. And he just can't conceive of a world.
- 16:37Speaker 2: He can't or he's the problem, or like you said,
- 16:39Speaker 2: he's the villain. He just can't see himself in that role.
- 16:41Speaker 3: He really can't. And I don't know if it's because
- 16:44Speaker 3: he would feel such intense shame or I mean, I
- 16:47Speaker 3: know it's because he's a narc and everything, and.
- 16:48Speaker 2: So personality disorders are a thing.
- 16:51Speaker 3: But it's just like, you would have such a better
- 16:55Speaker 3: character arc and people would actually respect you and care
- 17:00Speaker 3: about you if you owned everything and took real accountability
- 17:06Speaker 3: and actually apologize to everybody with genuine.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Authenticity.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yes, yes, authenticity, people would respect you so much more.
- 17:15Speaker 3: If that's what you crave so much, then why don't
- 17:18Speaker 3: you do.
- 17:18Speaker 2: The right thing? Because he doesn't know what the right
- 17:20Speaker 2: thing is. And I was watching somebody on Instagram not
- 17:23Speaker 2: to derail us, and I won't take long, but I
- 17:25Speaker 2: was watching a reel and it was some psychologists talking
- 17:28Speaker 2: about narcissism and she was saying, like, it's actually not
- 17:32Speaker 2: like arrogance, it's not thinking you're the absolute shit. It's
- 17:36Speaker 2: profound insecurity, yes, and self loathing. Like the interior world
- 17:40Speaker 2: of the narcissist, whatever kind of narcissist you might be
- 17:43Speaker 2: presenting as. The interior world is so desperate, yes, and
- 17:47Speaker 2: so insecure and so like riddled with self worth issues.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Like you just don't see it in a guy like Cody,
- 17:55Speaker 2: but I can feel it, like his need to come
- 17:58Speaker 2: off a specific way. He's so trying to curate his image.
- 18:01Speaker 2: He did it on Special Forces. He wanted to present
- 18:04Speaker 2: in a certain way. But he's not in Dutch at
- 18:06Speaker 2: all with who he is actually. And the weird thing
- 18:08Speaker 2: to me is that it almost feels like he was
- 18:11Speaker 2: when he was younger. Yeah, you know, when he was
- 18:13Speaker 2: just starting out and he was a youth minister and
- 18:16Speaker 2: he was a missionary and he was getting to know
- 18:18Speaker 2: Janelle and Mary, Like he seemed more light, more filled
- 18:22Speaker 2: with joy and happiness and wanting to be a dad.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Like something so dark has attached itself, Yes to Cody Brown,
- 18:28Speaker 2: and it's Robin Brown.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It's the demon Knownice.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Robin Brown needs an exorcist from Robin, Oh my god,
- 18:36Speaker 3: but for real though, it's really sad to see and
- 18:39Speaker 3: like it also gives credence to what Janelle had said
- 18:44Speaker 3: a couple episodes ago about him changing when he turned fifty,
- 18:48Speaker 3: Like that was when he started saying stuff like he
- 18:51Speaker 3: can't be responsible for everybody's emotions and needs all the time,
- 18:57Speaker 3: and he doesn't want to be a part of this
- 18:58Speaker 3: anymore and it's just too much on his shoulders and everything,
- 19:01Speaker 3: Like maybe he went through a midlife crisis.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Or he got possessed or he got possessed by the
- 19:06Speaker 2: dable Yes, definitely.
- 19:09Speaker 3: And so as we wrap up this cringe ass fake
- 19:12Speaker 3: as apology to Christine, David at some point invites Cody
- 19:17Speaker 3: to Moab and Cody's like, I am not interested at all,
- 19:20Speaker 3: but thanks, and then ultimately agrees to go race car
- 19:24Speaker 3: driving with Christine and David the very next day, which
- 19:27Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Like, why producers, reducer.
- 19:31Speaker 3: This is a horrible decision.
- 19:33Speaker 2: It's so bad. The entire scene is just unnecessary, and.
- 19:38Speaker 3: You can tell the three of them, all three of
- 19:40Speaker 3: them don't want to do it awkward, they do not
- 19:42Speaker 3: want to do it at all, and so they agree
- 19:45Speaker 3: to go to race car driving, Cody orders some sorbet.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Christine and David are like, we're gonna leave and go
- 19:50Speaker 3: fuck in our hotel room, goodbye, and Cody is left
- 19:54Speaker 3: to eat a sorbey alone in the giant conference room,
- 19:57Speaker 3: and then we bop on over. We change scene to
- 20:01Speaker 3: Janelle and Mary skyping each other. Yes, because Janelle is
- 20:05Speaker 3: wanting to go through with her spiritual release and she's
- 20:08Speaker 3: calling Mary to get advice, and also she's scared and
- 20:12Speaker 3: kind of wants Mary to do it for.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Her, which is interesting, don't you think.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it is weird.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm wondering if they're actually building kind of
- 20:21Speaker 2: a friendship.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit.
- 20:23Speaker 2: But then we see the Sukiana interviews and Mary's really
- 20:27Speaker 2: pistopa Janel. So I don't think it lasted long if
- 20:30Speaker 2: it ever.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Was, No, not at all. But it was interesting this
- 20:33Speaker 3: scene because they're talking about the spiritual release in general.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I guess with Mary's spiritual release, it wasn't a typical
- 20:41Speaker 3: one because normally when you go to the church leaders,
- 20:43Speaker 3: especially as a woman, like, it'll take a long time
- 20:46Speaker 3: of deliberation and everything, because you know, they got to
- 20:48Speaker 3: talk to so I have.
- 20:49Speaker 2: To have a pantheon of men deciding a woman's eternal fate,
- 20:53Speaker 2: so stank stupid.
- 20:54Speaker 3: But ultimately, when Mary got her spiritual release, they granted
- 20:58Speaker 3: it her granted it to her that day, which is
- 21:01Speaker 3: not typical. So Mary's telling her about the process, and
- 21:05Speaker 3: Janelle's really nervous because she doesn't like confrontation, and she's
- 21:10Speaker 3: intimidated by the church leaders because they're all men, and
- 21:12Speaker 3: also she hasn't talked to like any of them in
- 21:15Speaker 3: over a decade. But she really wants to go through
- 21:19Speaker 3: with it because she wants every single tie to Cody
- 21:23Speaker 3: Brown to be cut. Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I think she's just trying to hedge her bets. She
- 21:26Speaker 2: does not want to die and just find herself on
- 21:29Speaker 2: the same planet as Cody and Robin and all of
- 21:32Speaker 2: their perpetual eternal children. So you imagine whatever I have
- 21:36Speaker 2: to do to ensure that that doesn't happen, I am
- 21:38Speaker 2: going to do, even though I don't necessarily believe it,
- 21:41Speaker 2: because they don't get a sense that she does believe it,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I don't think. But she wants to make sure every
- 21:45Speaker 2: last thing is taken care of.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Yes, And she did say something interesting that I did
- 21:49Speaker 3: really like. She said, you know, we were married for
- 21:51Speaker 3: thirty years, and even though it wasn't necessarily legal and
- 21:55Speaker 3: it was a spiritual marriage, it feels a bit disrespectful
- 21:59Speaker 3: to just say, after all that time, okay, we're not
- 22:02Speaker 3: married anymore. So I do also respect that perspective of
- 22:05Speaker 3: wanting to get this spiritual release slash divorce, so that
- 22:10Speaker 3: way it is kind of an official statement of like,
- 22:13Speaker 3: we're done. So I did appreciate that. I thought Mary
- 22:16Speaker 3: was being really nice to her too, and I did
- 22:19Speaker 3: like seeing their relationship there. I do feel like it's
- 22:23Speaker 3: going to go to shit once Mary finds out about
- 22:25Speaker 3: the whole back door deal.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Thing agreed, But it was really cool if Mary to
- 22:29Speaker 2: offer to go and to sit with her and to
- 22:31Speaker 2: do it with her, and I just thought that was
- 22:34Speaker 2: really really nice. Yeah, I like that too.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And then we go over to Fleassa, oh gosh, and
- 22:40Speaker 3: we have Robin and Aurora and they're big, ass, ugly
- 22:44Speaker 3: terrible kitchen gosh. Yeah, they're like making Christmas cookies or whatever.
- 22:49Speaker 3: And this was a stupid scene.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yes, I don't know.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Why we have to have them on our TV, but
- 22:55Speaker 3: we're like talking about Aurora and her boyfriend Brodie. I
- 22:59Speaker 3: guess they've been together for like a year at this point,
- 23:02Speaker 3: even though we just met him like two episodes ago,
- 23:05Speaker 3: and they're thinking about the long term. He's going to
- 23:09Speaker 3: basic training, he's graduating from that, and so they're talking about,
- 23:12Speaker 3: you know, when are you gonna know that he's the
- 23:15Speaker 3: one for you? And Aurora asks, in her scripted manner, Mom,
- 23:20Speaker 3: how did you know when you got the lightning bowl
- 23:22Speaker 3: and your pussy for dad?
- 23:25Speaker 2: This scene when she starts explaining it and immediately starts
- 23:29Speaker 2: to cry, I just.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I couldn't take it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I was like wrapping gifts and I like literally wrapped,
- 23:36Speaker 2: I ripped the paper. I'm just like ah. And then
- 23:38Speaker 2: she did it again in her interestitial when she was
- 23:41Speaker 2: talking about her witnessing response.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and her burning titties, you.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Know, burnings, I think the Mormon term, but yeah.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I just like, please stop.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't care.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I don't care about their love story at all. I
- 23:56Speaker 3: honestly am hard pressed to say. I don't think they're
- 23:58Speaker 3: even really in love because I'm just like, every time
- 24:03Speaker 3: it's just Robin being like the lightning bowl, my pussy,
- 24:07Speaker 3: my boobs were burning, like I just saw.
- 24:09Speaker 2: He's a cowboys so hot it's so wooden, it's so gross.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I don't know that they're in love as much as
- 24:15Speaker 2: they are entangled financially. Yeah, And she's got nowhere else
- 24:19Speaker 2: to go, and she has no workable skills and she's
- 24:21Speaker 2: been out of the workforce for too long. She could
- 24:23Speaker 2: never get another job.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Who addrust her?
- 24:25Speaker 2: Everybody around the nation knows her. She's alive and a
- 24:27Speaker 2: thief allegedly, That's just my opinion. Like, who's going to
- 24:30Speaker 2: hire Robin Brown? So what is she going to do
- 24:32Speaker 2: except but stay attached to Cody Brown?
- 24:35Speaker 3: Well? And did you catch she had said a comment
- 24:38Speaker 3: because she was talking about Aurora and like hitching her
- 24:42Speaker 3: wagon to Brody. And she's like, you know, I'm glad,
- 24:45Speaker 3: maybe it's God's plan, but I also want Aurora to
- 24:47Speaker 3: like be out on her own without a man and
- 24:50Speaker 3: like figure out herself. And then Robin says, and I
- 24:52Speaker 3: quote a man.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Shouldn't be a financial.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Plan, financial plan for a woman.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I'm like, do you hear the it's coming out of
- 25:01Speaker 2: your mouth? What is your financial plan? What was your
- 25:04Speaker 2: financial plan when you met Cody and insinuated yourself into
- 25:08Speaker 2: this established family. Have you ever had a financial plan?
- 25:12Speaker 1: No?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Now, granted you can learn from your mistakes, but just
- 25:16Speaker 2: the hypocrisy, I know, I just can't believe they're saying
- 25:19Speaker 2: these things on television, I.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Know, and they think that we're gonna buy it or not.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I don't know, Or is it rage bait like you
- 25:26Speaker 1: said last week?
- 25:27Speaker 3: I mean maybe, but I'm just like, don't you want
- 25:30Speaker 3: people to not hate you?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Though?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Like, aren't you on this whole like redemption arc and
- 25:35Speaker 3: trying to rehab your images and everything?
- 25:36Speaker 1: It's not working?
- 25:37Speaker 3: Why are you saying it's work? And I'm like, so
- 25:41Speaker 3: what does that mean? Then? Too? Because if Cody is
- 25:44Speaker 3: her financial plan and he ends up going broke because
- 25:48Speaker 3: he's got no jobs, Sister Wives is canceled, he can't
- 25:52Speaker 3: go on Special Forces like, he's gonna have to keep grifting.
- 25:57Speaker 3: So that way she stays with him because she gonna
- 26:02Speaker 3: leave it.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Well, but where's she gonna go.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Ain't nobody gonna want that broke down?
- 26:06Speaker 2: I don't, Oh God breakdancing though she does break dance, yeah, okay, Well,
- 26:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:10Speaker 3: She's getting little older.
- 26:11Speaker 1: She's getting a little older.
- 26:12Speaker 2: You know, you will break a hip out here. It's
- 26:14Speaker 2: gonna get older.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but that was just a very interesting comment on
- 26:19Speaker 3: Robin Brown's part.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Well, Also, is this the part where she was talking
- 26:23Speaker 2: about the lady's piling on him or was that later
- 26:26Speaker 2: in the episode.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I know she does talk about that, So I just.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Kind of felt like this whole scene was a setup
- 26:32Speaker 2: for her to say something like that, Like she's definitely concerned.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Because coteus in Las Vegas.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, he's gonna be meeting with Christy that Robin hates.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And so she talks about how there's a tendency for
- 26:45Speaker 2: the wives and I guess the kids, I don't know who.
- 26:47Speaker 2: She's implying all of them like to pileon to Cody,
- 26:51Speaker 2: And I'm like, really, yeah, I don't think I've ever
- 26:53Speaker 2: seen that, though no.
- 26:55Speaker 3: One's seen that at all but you, Robin, who is delusional.
- 26:58Speaker 3: She literally said, I'm only concerned about them not accepting
- 27:03Speaker 3: the spirit of what he's intending to have with these apologies,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and I'm just like, girl, there is no intention.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It's the spirit of manipulation. It's the spirit of Lucifer,
- 27:14Speaker 2: I mean, the spirit of the devil trying to get
- 27:17Speaker 2: one over on Christina David. Thank god David's there.
- 27:20Speaker 3: And like you typed out a whole script for him
- 27:22Speaker 3: to read to all of these women. There's no good
- 27:25Speaker 3: intentions here, it's just to save face.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Why did he think telling Christine who's married to another man,
- 27:35Speaker 2: that it was important she knew that he loved her
- 27:39Speaker 2: and that there were magical times and oh god, it's
- 27:43Speaker 2: reminding me of that phone call I had early topic.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I can't, I can't deviate into that.
- 27:48Speaker 2: But like, that's not appropriate.
- 27:50Speaker 3: It's not a woman.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Is not just married, but her husband is sitting right there,
- 27:54Speaker 2: like it's just he's so out of touch.
- 27:56Speaker 3: He's super out of touch.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's like norms and just like social cues.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Well, and I will give David credit, like he did
- 28:03Speaker 3: take that really well in that conversation. He's like, well,
- 28:05Speaker 3: why are you even saying that, of course you loved her,
- 28:07Speaker 3: you had all these kids, Like, you wouldn't have been
- 28:10Speaker 3: married to her for this long and had all these
- 28:11Speaker 3: children and everything with her if you didn't love her.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 28:15Speaker 3: But I think Cody is saying all of this to
- 28:17Speaker 3: all the women because that was such a big talking
- 28:20Speaker 3: point last season and the season before, like when all
- 28:23Speaker 3: these clips were circulating. And also Robin has said in
- 28:27Speaker 3: this season, and I think last season, like, I can't
- 28:30Speaker 3: believe Cody said that, because that was what made me
- 28:33Speaker 3: fall in love with him, because he was in love
- 28:36Speaker 3: with all the other wines.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Even she's lying, you can't believe her, but I don't
- 28:40Speaker 2: believe her.
- 28:40Speaker 3: That's why he's bringing it up, because it's because concerns Robin.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Well, you know, he's going to end this apology tour
- 28:46Speaker 1: by apologizing to Robin.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I know, I'm sorry. I wasn't the man you needed
- 28:51Speaker 3: be to be. I'm sorry that I failed you because
- 28:54Speaker 3: I'm so angry and I was a drunk.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Will you do me the favor of remarrying next season?
- 29:00Speaker 2: Can we ever recommence ceremony to celebrate our love?
- 29:05Speaker 1: It's coming. It's coming. It totally is. They need content?
- 29:09Speaker 3: Yeah, because what else is there?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Nothing?
- 29:10Speaker 3: There's nothing God, speaking of fake manufactured content. It's the
- 29:15Speaker 3: day after Cody's apology to Christine and we're at the
- 29:19Speaker 3: racetrack with Cody, Christine, and David and they go all
- 29:23Speaker 3: race cars.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Who cares?
- 29:25Speaker 2: Nothing happened in this entire scene, and we spent so
- 29:27Speaker 2: much time on it was a lot of time. I
- 29:29Speaker 2: don't care to see Christine trying to drive a car.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I don't care to see Cody. I don't care to
- 29:33Speaker 2: see any of these people. And these people don't want
- 29:36Speaker 2: to be together either. There's some weird line from Cody
- 29:39Speaker 2: about how it's respectful to her husband and to his
- 29:44Speaker 2: wife that they don't stand too close together because that
- 29:47Speaker 2: would be inappropriate, and I'm just like, no, the mother
- 29:51Speaker 2: of seventeen thousand of your children, and she don't want
- 29:53Speaker 2: you like that anyway. Nobody likes you.
- 29:56Speaker 3: That way, no one, not even probably. Yeah, this whole
- 30:00Speaker 3: thing was just a metaphor to be like, yeah, we're
- 30:03Speaker 3: all cautious with each other, Like we're cautious on the roadway,
- 30:06Speaker 3: you know, like driving these dangerous cars, and like you
- 30:09Speaker 3: just gotta not be reckless with each other. So way
- 30:12Speaker 3: we can, you know, build our relationship back up and
- 30:15Speaker 3: be cordial, be kind. I'm like, shut up, make it
- 30:18Speaker 3: stop a please. Like you're driving these race cars. I
- 30:22Speaker 3: was watching their little speedometers. They're going like sixty miles
- 30:25Speaker 3: an hour.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yes, I couldn't even look as they were talking. I
- 30:28Speaker 2: was so bored.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I'm like, drive faster, Grandpa. I was like so annoyed,
- 30:32Speaker 3: you're gonna drive these really awesome cars. You're not gonna
- 30:34Speaker 3: go like one hundred whatever. And then after the racetrack,
- 30:38Speaker 3: then we have Cody back in his hotel room with
- 30:40Speaker 3: his booty ass friend Brian, who comes to talk to
- 30:44Speaker 3: him in a staged conversation about his apology tour and
- 30:51Speaker 3: his next stop, which is gonna be Merry, And this
- 30:54Speaker 3: whole conversation I feel like was just so Cody could
- 30:57Speaker 3: talk shit about Mary.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And also throw Janelle under the butt. Yes, we're having
- 31:00Speaker 2: a side conversation with Cody about Coyote Pass in which
- 31:04Speaker 2: they discussed selling it from out from under Mary and Robin.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Uh huh, Like okay, what sure you would have sold
- 31:11Speaker 2: it out from under Robin. But he is again showcasing
- 31:15Speaker 2: Janelle's complicity, and so this is what Mary has seen,
- 31:19Speaker 2: and this is what's getting Mary very upset, almost like
- 31:22Speaker 2: he wants to ruin Mary's burgeoning relationship with Janelle.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I think that's exactly what it is, because when he
- 31:28Speaker 3: tells Brian, yeah, Mary doesn't even know and doesn't need
- 31:32Speaker 3: to know about this conversation. Okay, she doesn't need to know.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Why did you bring it up? And I was thinking
- 31:38Speaker 3: back in the archives of this season, Cody was the
- 31:43Speaker 3: one that brought up the conversation in general, like Janelle
- 31:45Speaker 3: didn't bring it up whatsoever. Cody was the one that
- 31:49Speaker 3: said this comment when they were about to sell Coyote Pass,
- 31:53Speaker 3: so he from the jump was going to sabotage this shit.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Things were going fine with Janelle and Mary, I dare
- 32:02Speaker 3: say they were probably improving their relationship. And then Cody
- 32:06Speaker 3: has to put that in there for the show for
- 32:09Speaker 3: clicks and shits, and he wants to rage bait everybody.
- 32:12Speaker 3: And then now he's sitting here telling Brian she doesn't
- 32:14Speaker 3: need to know though, and Brian's like, but.
- 32:17Speaker 2: She's gonna know. You know, we're being filmed right now,
- 32:20Speaker 2: right it's a national syndicated show, Ding dong, so stupid, disingenuous.
- 32:28Speaker 3: It's super disingenuous and really evil, honestly, because he's just
- 32:31Speaker 3: sewing discord. And you know, Mary's gonna be super pissed
- 32:34Speaker 3: off about it and hurt. Of course she will be,
- 32:37Speaker 3: because she'll feel like a backstabbed and it's just gonna
- 32:40Speaker 3: cause more drama and so and then the rest of
- 32:43Speaker 3: this was just Cody talking about how he's worried about
- 32:46Speaker 3: apologizing to Mary because there's so much bitterness there and
- 32:50Speaker 3: he doesn't know how it's gonna go. And then the
- 32:53Speaker 3: final scene of the episode is Mary with.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Her fate friends. I don't think John's bag. I think
- 33:00Speaker 2: Jen is Ride or Die.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Jen is her bff for ls. But we have Mary, Jen,
- 33:04Speaker 3: and Amber, her lesbian lover, out on the patio and
- 33:08Speaker 3: Paiwan or whatever, and they're talking about Cody extending the
- 33:12Speaker 3: olive branch of benevolence and Jen's like, why why are
- 33:17Speaker 3: you going to talk to this?
- 33:18Speaker 2: Haven't you been divorced for over a year? And Mary's like,
- 33:21Speaker 2: it's been two.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Years, so then why are you going to talk to him?
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not necessary, But I'm sure Mary knows why
- 33:29Speaker 2: Cody is doing this, and I'm sure she's doing it
- 33:32Speaker 2: for the show as well. I do wonder if there's
- 33:34Speaker 2: a small part of her that wants to have a
- 33:38Speaker 2: genuine conversation with Cody. I mean, I bet she does,
- 33:41Speaker 2: but she should know more than anybody else that is
- 33:43Speaker 2: just not possible.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Yep.
- 33:44Speaker 2: He's not going to be showing up in any kind
- 33:47Speaker 2: of authentic capacity, and it's going to go bad. It's
- 33:49Speaker 2: going to go sideways. And I think Jen knows this.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I think both Jen and Amber are trying to protect
- 33:54Speaker 2: Mary from this, but at the same time, I do
- 33:57Speaker 2: think Mary is giving a different vibration. I think she's
- 34:01Speaker 2: stronger now. I think she's going to show up and
- 34:03Speaker 2: she's going to take it to him. Told her, I
- 34:04Speaker 2: can't wait to see that.
- 34:06Speaker 3: I am very much looking forward to that because I
- 34:08Speaker 3: do want to see someone, just somebody.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Get mad at Cody.
- 34:13Speaker 1: That's all I want.
- 34:15Speaker 3: So I do hope that that's going to be kind
- 34:17Speaker 3: of contentious. I know that's terrible, but I want it
- 34:20Speaker 3: to be drama lite.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Well you saw in the preview he's got a tear
- 34:23Speaker 2: ling down his face.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't wait. And Mary also says something like
- 34:30Speaker 3: she doesn't know what kind of Cody she's going to
- 34:32Speaker 3: get because she doesn't know him anymore. Because apparently, according
- 34:36Speaker 3: to Mary, she tried to text him not too long
- 34:39Speaker 3: ago and just said like, hey, let's just try not
- 34:42Speaker 3: to be those divorce couples that just like always want
- 34:44Speaker 3: to be right.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Well, I had to rewind that part because I was
- 34:48Speaker 2: trying to understand what happened, and what I think she
- 34:52Speaker 2: was talking about was the day of her spiritual release,
- 34:56Speaker 2: she texted him and said something like, let's just move
- 35:01Speaker 2: on in kindness. I think we can be just fine.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I got my spiritual release. And then he called her
- 35:05Speaker 2: on the phone and was very defensive and seemingly upset
- 35:09Speaker 2: that she had went and got this spiritual release. And
- 35:13Speaker 2: then later something must have happened because Cody talks about
- 35:18Speaker 2: this too and said that Mary got funky. That's what
- 35:20Speaker 2: he says, like there's something wrong. Something happened with Mary,
- 35:24Speaker 2: like six months after that, and now we're not on
- 35:26Speaker 2: good terms.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah. He said that things were really good when I
- 35:29Speaker 3: helped her move, and then after that it went down
- 35:32Speaker 3: the drain again, and so that's why he's nervous about it,
- 35:35Speaker 3: and Mary's a little She's not nervous, but she's just
- 35:38Speaker 3: like I don't.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Know what to explain what's happening here?
- 35:40Speaker 3: Yeah, like who am I gonna get? And she is
- 35:43Speaker 3: the last one, So I don't know. After his conversation
- 35:46Speaker 3: with Christine, maybe he's gonna be more on the defensive
- 35:49Speaker 3: when he comes to Mary because he saved the worst
- 35:51Speaker 3: for last well not really because then he's got his
- 35:55Speaker 3: sweet love Robin afterwards. So I don't know. But Mary
- 35:59Speaker 3: is like, I just want to have a decent divorce.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I just want to be done with this stuff, so
- 36:03Speaker 3: I'll go and listen to what he has to say.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I'm curious to see what he's gonna say because he
- 36:08Speaker 3: didn't even acknowledge my presence at Coyote Pass when we
- 36:10Speaker 3: sold it. So we'll see what happens. And I can't
- 36:14Speaker 3: wait for that.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yep, me too.
- 36:15Speaker 3: So let me get to the preview, and we have
- 36:18Speaker 3: Janelle telling Mattie that she's going to go through with
- 36:21Speaker 3: the spiritual release, and Maddie's like, why, what's the point?
- 36:25Speaker 2: What are we doing this for?
- 36:27Speaker 3: Then we have Christine and David talking again about polygamy,
- 36:30Speaker 3: and I'm just like, how many conversations do we have
- 36:33Speaker 3: to have between the two of you about polygamy? But
- 36:36Speaker 3: she talks about how, you know, some believe his families
- 36:39Speaker 3: are so equal and great, but some are not.
- 36:42Speaker 2: We not so bad, we know, so bad they could
- 36:45Speaker 2: be fired. I wouldn't miss them, I mean really though.
- 36:49Speaker 3: And then we have Robin saying Cody didn't talk to
- 36:53Speaker 3: her much about his relationships, but now things are different.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Now he tells her everything, and I'm like, girl, who cares?
- 36:59Speaker 3: You've been knowing?
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah? Yes, absolutely nobody talking to you.
- 37:02Speaker 3: No one likes you. And then we have Cody saying
- 37:04Speaker 3: him and Mary's history is like a minefield, and Mary's like,
- 37:09Speaker 3: but you're not going to shut me down anymore, sir.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Wait, that's bringing to mind something. Was it in
- 37:16Speaker 2: the preview? Was it in the episode where Cody is
- 37:19Speaker 2: referring to talking to Janelle about the side deal for
- 37:24Speaker 2: Coyote Pass because Mary wouldn't agree to the agreements?
- 37:29Speaker 1: Yes?
- 37:29Speaker 3: That was with Brian.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Was that with Brian?
- 37:31Speaker 2: So that was to me pretty compelling because I think
- 37:35Speaker 2: that does point to Cody trying to get Mary to
- 37:39Speaker 2: sign the NDA. Yeah, and me wondering again and anew,
- 37:43Speaker 2: whether Janelle actually signed that NDA because making maybe he
- 37:47Speaker 2: was making it a condition to sell Coyote Pass and
- 37:50Speaker 2: she was saying I don't want to do that, and
- 37:52Speaker 2: so she was fucking up the deal.
- 37:54Speaker 1: So it was the.
- 37:55Speaker 2: NDA, Yeah, I could say that's the agreement.
- 37:57Speaker 1: What else? What other agreement would it be?
- 37:59Speaker 3: I don't know. And I have seen a few people
- 38:02Speaker 3: comment from Cody's apology to Janelle saying that the reason
- 38:06Speaker 3: why she was probably so nice to him was probably
- 38:08Speaker 3: because of the NDA too, So like if she signed
- 38:11Speaker 3: a bunch of shits. She probably had to go with it,
- 38:14Speaker 3: just like God, if.
- 38:15Speaker 2: She did, I just have absolutely no respect for Jenna none.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry I've lost respect for her. Like, why would
- 38:20Speaker 2: you sign something like that? Why would you do it?
- 38:22Speaker 2: Why you don't need to do it at literally don't
- 38:25Speaker 2: you just want the money from the land so that
- 38:27Speaker 2: you can build your house? And I understand that financial incentive,
- 38:30Speaker 2: but like you will get it anyway. Exactly, you should
- 38:32Speaker 2: get it anyway. You just want to get your full
- 38:34Speaker 2: twenty five percent, which you maybe wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I don't know, well in my opinions, because Janelle's not
- 38:40Speaker 3: a fighter, Like she doesn't want to deal with that.
- 38:42Speaker 3: She doesn't want to go through the lawyer, she doesn't
- 38:44Speaker 3: want to deal with the hassle. She just wants her
- 38:46Speaker 3: shit and she just wants to move on and live
- 38:49Speaker 3: her life the way she doesn't care to. But like, yeah,
- 38:52Speaker 3: what about your kids though? Exactly what with the inheritance
- 38:54Speaker 3: for your kids? What about the estate that you were
- 38:56Speaker 3: always talking about in previous seasons that you want to
- 38:59Speaker 3: set up for your fam Like what do you have?
- 39:00Speaker 3: And I get it, You've got your flower farm? Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 3: and you're building a home and that's wonderful, but still like,
- 39:07Speaker 3: how much money did you let go? Right?
- 39:09Speaker 2: Like?
- 39:09Speaker 1: That should have.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Been yours and should have been Christine's and Mary's and
- 39:13Speaker 2: all of the kids exactly because you decided you didn't
- 39:16Speaker 2: want conflict exactly.
- 39:18Speaker 1: No RESPECTO.
- 39:19Speaker 3: I don't respect it at all. So, yeah, that was
- 39:22Speaker 3: this week's episode. I'm looking forward to Mary's apology. Is
- 39:26Speaker 3: that going to be next week? Are we going to
- 39:27Speaker 3: have a break because of the holiday?
- 39:28Speaker 1: I don't know?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Actually, well wait it was, wasn't there a schedule released
- 39:32Speaker 2: by DLC?
- 39:34Speaker 1: I don't.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I think we're going to think it is going to
- 39:36Speaker 2: be this. I think we're going to have an episode
- 39:39Speaker 2: on Sunday and then I honestly my feeling is that
- 39:41Speaker 2: we're going to go right into the foretel Alls or
- 39:44Speaker 2: Tell Nothings with Sukian I hope. So I think this
- 39:46Speaker 2: will maybe be the finale or they would have said it.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Maybe I feel like they would have said it, but
- 39:51Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, I don't know either. We'll just
- 39:53Speaker 2: have to see. We'll be here for it though. Well,
- 39:55Speaker 2: is there anything else that we need to say to
- 39:57Speaker 2: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on Adda here
