- 0:13Speaker 1: both nations met before last weekend's tests. It's been thirty
- 0:17Speaker 1: years since we last toured in South Africa. Ian Jones

- 0:48Speaker 3: your good news.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Why did they stop?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Well, I guess sir Callen Ryan here is only fifty
- 0:55Speaker 3: two weeks, so he as there's a lot of rugby
- 0:57Speaker 3: to pour in all of these different places. Test matches
- 1:01Speaker 3: bring in the big crowds, I guess. But maybe if
- 1:04Speaker 3: there's a design now to go back to the old
- 1:07Speaker 3: take our players to the lights of patcha Strom, Kimberly,
- 1:11Speaker 3: Paul Elizabeth, those places outside the major cities we played tests.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It's wonderful, yeah, wonderful news.

- 1:22Speaker 2: Would it affect other competitions?
- 1:25Speaker 3: I guess I'll have to affect other competitions, Ryan, But
- 1:28Speaker 3: maybe they see there's a window there that they can
- 1:31Speaker 3: kind of lock and maybe, let's hope it's up to
- 1:34Speaker 3: eight weeks, maybe not that long. Even if it's five weeks, Ryan,
- 1:39Speaker 3: everything's possible with with with time and planning, and you're
- 1:43Speaker 3: saying they're looking at twenty twenty six. I guess it's
- 1:47Speaker 3: not room to lock it in. But I tell you what, Ryan,
- 1:51Speaker 3: I mean, I think I'll keep some players here to
- 1:53Speaker 3: want to play and go on that tour. Said for
- 1:56Speaker 3: fans of New Zealand little bit fans, trip of a
- 1:59Speaker 3: lifetime that you can get yourself over there. So there's
- 2:02Speaker 3: a lot of upside.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You mentioned keeping players the All Blacks obviously making some
- 2:08Speaker 1: decisions or sticking to their guns around, you know, sharing
- 2:11Speaker 1: the players around.
- 2:12Speaker 2: What do you think of that?
- 2:14Speaker 3: One hundred percent agree with it. I've got to say, Ryan,
- 2:17Speaker 3: really really important for New Zealand rugby as a whole.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Both our domestic competitions keep our stars in New Zealand
- 2:25Speaker 3: that we pick internally, you're playing our competitions that lure
- 2:29Speaker 3: their black Jersey's very strong. So no, fully support our decision.
- 2:33Speaker 3: We live in a different part of the world and
- 2:35Speaker 3: say that everything's a different policy to us, But I
- 2:39Speaker 3: believe it works for us, and I think it's a
- 2:41Speaker 3: pretty strong commitment for those players to play in New Zealand,
- 2:45Speaker 3: to work their way into that all black jersey and
- 2:47Speaker 3: represent us like they do.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, we're coming back on Sunday in Cape Town.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Well yeah, oh we are coming back. Mate. We were
- 2:57Speaker 3: right and mat Hut and Jahannes. We ran out of
- 3:00Speaker 3: gas at altitude. We now at sea level. We have
- 3:03Speaker 3: a big fan base down in Cape Town. Well, you know,
- 3:07Speaker 3: Cerevical play better. They went at their absolute best and
- 3:11Speaker 3: Joe Berg we had some chances that we didn't take.
