- 1:21Speaker 4: go by the name of mister Beezy. I'm an inspirational
- 1:25Speaker 4: motivational speaker. I've been doing this for the last twelve
- 1:28Speaker 4: years now and I literally travel all across the United
- 1:31Speaker 4: Kingdom motivating and speaking to people, whether they're in education,
- 1:36Speaker 4: in business, or in sports. And you know, I've had
- 1:38Speaker 4: the pleasure in honor of traveling to different countries such
- 1:41Speaker 4: as Scotland and Switzerland to go and motivate people as well.
- 1:44Speaker 4: For me, I'm a fellow earner as well, So for me,
- 1:47Speaker 4: it's only right that you know, I share some of
- 1:50Speaker 4: my tools and gems with my people, and you know,
- 1:52Speaker 4: I'm excited about tonight's webinar Man. Motivational speaking is something
- 1:57Speaker 4: that you know, I think when you think about motivational speaking,
- 2:00Speaker 4: people can have different mindsets towards it. You know, you
- 2:03Speaker 4: get some people that they think of Tony Robbins and
- 2:05Speaker 4: Les Brown's and then you get some people that think
- 2:07Speaker 4: of like E. T. Eric Thomas. That's my guy personally,
- 2:10Speaker 4: that's what I like to follow. So you're going to
- 2:12Speaker 4: see that maybe there's some similarities between myself and ET
- 2:15Speaker 4: because I just feel like ET's got that energy, that
- 2:18Speaker 4: fire that really resonates with me. And I hope that
- 2:21Speaker 4: I can just really give you guys some tools and
- 2:24Speaker 4: tips tonight that you know, you guys would also resonate
- 2:26Speaker 4: with as I'm going throughout the presentation, and feel free
- 2:30Speaker 4: to like put some questions in the Q and a
- 2:32Speaker 4: box or some questions in the chat, and you know,
- 2:35Speaker 4: at the end of it, I'll make sure that we
- 2:37Speaker 4: have time to address your questions because I don't just
- 2:39Speaker 4: want to be here speaking at you and not give
- 2:42Speaker 4: you guys the opportunity as well to you know, kind
- 2:44Speaker 4: of get some questions answered. All right, So I'm going
- 2:46Speaker 4: to get straight into it. So can I share my presentations?
- 2:49Speaker 4: That cool? Absolutely, We're ready? All right, all right, let's go.
- 2:53Speaker 4: So I'm going to share my screen with you guys
- 2:56Speaker 4: as as they say, the little fancy presentation for you
- 2:59Speaker 4: guys as you know, okay, well I say fancy point, guys,
- 3:05Speaker 4: you know, don't get excited now. Animation's the moving images
- 3:09Speaker 4: you know, but you know I did it myself someonem
- 3:11Speaker 4: proud you know. All right, all right, all right, we're
- 3:14Speaker 4: gonna get We're gonna get it popping as you guys say, right,
- 3:17Speaker 4: So here we go, all right, So, yes, public speaking.
- 3:20Speaker 4: If you guys can see my presentation, just give me
- 3:23Speaker 4: a number one in the chats. So I know we're good. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 4: we're good. Lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, wonderful, wonderful, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
- 3:30Speaker 4: So I'm going to get straight into it right now.
- 3:33Speaker 4: So it's just some of the content of what I'm
- 3:35Speaker 4: going to be covering tonight, you know, So things like
- 3:37Speaker 4: how to structure a talk a speech, you know, rules
- 3:40Speaker 4: of engagement, how to connect with your audience, the importance
- 3:44Speaker 4: of energy, eye contact, personality, body language, and diction. These
- 3:49Speaker 4: are just some of the elements that are really important.
- 3:51Speaker 4: But it comes to you know, delivering a motivational speech
- 3:54Speaker 4: or any sort of speech or presentation. Right, So the
- 3:58Speaker 4: first thing is how to structure your talk. Now, a
- 4:01Speaker 4: typical talk, guys, is broken down into what we call
- 4:04Speaker 4: three segments. So you have your opening, you have what
- 4:07Speaker 4: we call your core, which is like the middle part
- 4:09Speaker 4: of your talk and you have like you're closing right,
- 4:12Speaker 4: And I feel like the key thing whenever you're going
- 4:15Speaker 4: to deliver a talk is you must set the tone
- 4:18Speaker 4: from the opening. So, for example, whenever I'm going to
- 4:21Speaker 4: deliver a talk, one thing I do as my sort
- 4:23Speaker 4: of audience and crowd is coming in, I've got music playing, right,
- 4:27Speaker 4: but watch this. One thing that's key is knowing your
- 4:30Speaker 4: audience before you get there. Right. So right, if I'm
- 4:33Speaker 4: going to be like speaking to a bunch of country folk,
- 4:36Speaker 4: I am about to pay non meek meal as they're
- 4:38Speaker 4: coming in right now about playing some take the swift
- 4:41Speaker 4: for them? Dog? Do you see what I'm saying? Because
- 4:43Speaker 4: what happens is when you can play music that your
- 4:45Speaker 4: audience can relate to, automatically, it puts them in a
- 4:49Speaker 4: good mood. Automatically it helps them to put their guard down.
- 4:52Speaker 4: But automatically you straight away build some form of rapport
- 4:56Speaker 4: with them. And what I find is by the time
- 4:58Speaker 4: like the music stopped and you know, the introduction comes,
- 5:02Speaker 4: I find that my audience are a lot more relaxed
- 5:04Speaker 4: and they're a lot more willing to engage with me.
- 5:07Speaker 4: When I say every good morning, good afternoon, or good evening.
- 5:10Speaker 4: But what you find is when there's no music, there's
- 5:12Speaker 4: no energy created. Then you find that people struggle with energy.
- 5:16Speaker 4: So imagine you walk into an auditorium there's absolute silence,
- 5:20Speaker 4: there's no music playing. Everyone's just kind of maybe talking
- 5:23Speaker 4: amongst themselves, and then out of nowhere, someone comes on
- 5:25Speaker 4: the stage and like, hey, good evening. You're gonna be like,
- 5:28Speaker 4: who's this a right? So it's really important that you
- 5:31Speaker 4: set the tongue. Another thing that I realized in you're opening,
- 5:35Speaker 4: so I said, you know, it could be a statement
- 5:36Speaker 4: or you can be a question. No one thing I
- 5:39Speaker 4: love to do with my audience when I open, I love.
- 5:41Speaker 3: To ernest what's up.
- 5:44Speaker 5: You ever walk into a small business and everything just
- 5:46Speaker 5: works like the checkout is fast, the receipts are digital,

- 7:33Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 7:37Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 7:41Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 7:45Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan.
- 7:48Speaker 2: These are just.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 7:53Speaker 1: Donald J.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Trump's leadership.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm Christine nom the United States Secretary of Homeland Security.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are at the
- 8:02Speaker 1: lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred thousand illegal aliens.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Have been arrested. If you are here illegally, you're next.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You will be fine nearly one thousand dollars a day,
- 8:14Speaker 1: imprisoned and.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Deported, you will never return.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 8:20Speaker 1: leave now, you could be allowed.
- 8:22Speaker 2: To return legally. Do what's right. Leave now.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Ask them questions why interaction is so important now? Whenever
- 8:38Speaker 4: you go to like a seminar, a talk or anything
- 8:41Speaker 4: like that. Naturally, people know what they're going there for, right.
- 8:45Speaker 4: But one thing that I found is so effective is
- 8:48Speaker 4: interacting maybe your audience, and don't be afraid to do
- 8:51Speaker 4: it right from the opening. Ask them a question. And
- 8:54Speaker 4: that's one thing that I love to do. I love
- 8:56Speaker 4: to ask them a question. So how many people here
- 8:59Speaker 4: can relate to this? Or how many people here have
- 9:01Speaker 4: done this? How many people oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I've
- 9:04Speaker 4: done that? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's mean. You know,
- 9:06Speaker 4: even if I'm like, for example, you know, talking in education,
- 9:09Speaker 4: and I'll go to a school, I'm like, hey man,
- 9:11Speaker 4: how many of you you can't stand school at the moment?
- 9:13Speaker 4: How many of you can't stand away? And it's like, yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 4: I can relate to that, So you know, you might
- 9:17Speaker 4: be even in the corporate setting, you know, how many
- 9:20Speaker 4: of you can't stand the state of the economy at
- 9:22Speaker 4: the moment? People like yes, I mean I feel you
- 9:25Speaker 4: right now. But it's so important to kind of set
- 9:28Speaker 4: the foundation. I love questions. You can start with a
- 9:31Speaker 4: statement or a quote or something like that, but I
- 9:34Speaker 4: just feel like it's so strong when you ask a
- 9:37Speaker 4: question and you kind of get your audience involved straight away. Now,
- 9:41Speaker 4: in the kind of middle bit, the corebet of your talk,
- 9:44Speaker 4: of your speech, this is where you should address you know,
- 9:46Speaker 4: the key information, tell your stories, and again ask questions.
- 9:51Speaker 4: One thing you'll see whenever I deliver a speech a talk,
- 9:55Speaker 4: is I ask questions throughout my presentation.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 9:59Speaker 4: I never want to like I'm losing my audience, So
- 10:02Speaker 4: I always want to keep them involved because naturally, as
- 10:04Speaker 4: human beings, we live in a generation where it's hard
- 10:08Speaker 4: to keep focused. Nowadays, you know when you've got the
- 10:11Speaker 4: lights of that TikTok and Instagram and snatchat and you
- 10:13Speaker 4: know when you're viewing post and if that post doesn't
- 10:16Speaker 4: maybe capture your attention within three to five seconds. We're
- 10:20Speaker 4: used to scrolling onto the next post or you know,
- 10:22Speaker 4: flicking to the next video, and we live in a
- 10:25Speaker 4: generation where you must capture people's interest very fast. Right,
- 10:29Speaker 4: So whenever I'm delivering a speech, even when I'm in
- 10:32Speaker 4: the middle section of the speech, I'd like to ask
- 10:34Speaker 4: questions just to make sure that my audience is still engaged.
- 10:38Speaker 4: So it could be little things that if you can
- 10:40Speaker 4: relate to what I just said, raise your hands, right,
- 10:42Speaker 4: that is getting my audience involved. That's making sure they're
- 10:45Speaker 4: still a weight, that's making sure that they're still with me. Right.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Another thing that's really important is, you know, feel free
- 10:52Speaker 4: to tell stories, but make sure that your stories are
- 10:56Speaker 4: relevant right now. When it comes to motivating an audience,
- 11:00Speaker 4: I think I try not to do. And one thing
- 11:02Speaker 4: I really don't find inspiring is when people just go
- 11:05Speaker 4: on about what they've achieved right if it's relevant, you know, like,
- 11:09Speaker 4: for example, hey, I spoke for Microsoft, I spoke for Apple,
- 11:12Speaker 4: I spoke for AT and T and yeah, and now
- 11:15Speaker 4: my life that's great, that's great, But I'm struggling with
- 11:19Speaker 4: discipline and me finding out that you spoke for AT
- 11:22Speaker 4: and T ain't This ain't helping me my discipline. It
- 11:25Speaker 4: ain't helped me with my time management. But then watch
- 11:28Speaker 4: this if I now tell you the story of how
- 11:30Speaker 4: I struggled with discipline and how I overcame that discipline.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Hey man, for example, I was I was this way,
- 11:36Speaker 4: and you know I've went through this journey. We're I
- 11:38Speaker 4: lost five stone. You know, I used to wake up
- 11:41Speaker 4: at four am in the morning to go to the gym,
- 11:43Speaker 4: I change my eating had and I kind of tell
- 11:45Speaker 4: them a story about me, but it's relevant to the
- 11:48Speaker 4: topic of discipline as well at the same time, because
- 11:51Speaker 4: anyone can say a story about a celebrity, right, But
- 11:55Speaker 4: what I find is so much more inspiring me. You
- 11:57Speaker 4: can find a relatable story about yourself that can connect
- 12:02Speaker 4: to your audience.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:03Speaker 4: You know, there's no point in me coming here and
- 12:06Speaker 4: talking about Hey, Kevin Hart this and Denzil watch you
- 12:09Speaker 4: in this and this person this because you might not
- 12:11Speaker 4: ever get the chance to meet those people, you might
- 12:13Speaker 4: not ever be in the same arena as those people.
- 12:16Speaker 4: But when you're addressing the audience, you're there right there,
- 12:19Speaker 4: and then in front of them, they have an opportunity
- 12:21Speaker 4: to ask you questions, they might have an opportunity to
- 12:24Speaker 4: take a selfie with you afterward, you know, shake your hands.
- 12:27Speaker 4: And it's so much more inspiring when you can get
- 12:29Speaker 4: some inspiration from the person who's actually in front of you,
- 12:33Speaker 4: because naturally, as human beings, you know, we don't want
- 12:35Speaker 4: to be sold a dream, we don't want to be
- 12:37Speaker 4: sold a story. We want someone to keep it real
- 12:39Speaker 4: with us. Well, I know you Americas, they keep it
- 12:41Speaker 4: a buck with you, right, is that what you guys say?
- 12:43Speaker 4: Keep it a buck? Right? So you just want someone to,
- 12:46Speaker 4: you know, just keep it real with you guys, right,
- 12:48Speaker 4: And that's one thing I'm saying, man, you not be
- 12:51Speaker 4: afraid to be authentic and just keep it real with
- 12:54Speaker 4: people with your stories. I like to tell people about
- 12:56Speaker 4: my experiences, things that I've gone through, as long if
- 13:00Speaker 4: it relates to them. I don't like just telling people
- 13:03Speaker 4: things about me for the sake of doing it. I
- 13:06Speaker 4: like it to do it so that it makes sense,
- 13:08Speaker 4: They can relate to it, they can gain some inspiration
- 13:10Speaker 4: from it, and they can figure out how they can
- 13:12Speaker 4: apply these stories and tools to their own life.
